Speaker 1: See this is not two thousand and three. This is
• 0:03
Speaker 1: not endless nation building under those types of quagmuiers we
• 0:07
Speaker 1: saw under Bush or Obama. It's not even close. Our
• 0:10
Speaker 1: generation of soldier will not let that happen again. And
• 0:14
  Speaker 1: nordst this present.
• 0:16
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

• 0:31
Speaker 3: we winning? And what's going to be happening with gas prices.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: We have answers to all of that. Having just come
• 0:38
Speaker 3: back from Israel, I want to paint you a picture.
• 0:41
Speaker 3: It's midnight, sirens are blearing, and you have only seconds
• 0:45
Speaker 3: to grab your child and run. Now imagine your elderly.
• 0:50
Speaker 3: Your legs don't work like they used to, Getting downstairs
• 0:53
Speaker 3: feels impossible, and after all of that, you end up
• 0:56
Speaker 3: in a bomb shelter for hours, even days, because you
• 0:59
Speaker 3: can't the trek again. This is what's happening across Israel
• 1:04
Speaker 3: as Operation Epic Fury continues. Children are being traumatized. Families
• 1:09
Speaker 3: are just exhausted and homes have been destroyed. And that's
• 1:13
Speaker 3: why the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is there
• 1:17
Speaker 3: on the ground, bringing food, emergency equipment, care for those children,
• 1:22
Speaker 3: and help for the elderly, and supplying the bomb shelters
• 1:26
Speaker 3: and medical centers for critically needed essentials. If you've ever
• 1:30
Speaker 3: wondered what it looks like to stand for Israel and
• 1:33
Speaker 3: stand for good against evil, this is it. And that's
• 1:36
Speaker 3: why I'm asking to now please act, give forty five
• 1:39
Speaker 3: dollars right now to rush life saving essentials to the
• 1:43
Speaker 3: vulnerables under fire. You can also call eight eight eight

• 2:03
Speaker 3: forty seven morning update and it starts right now.
• 2:06
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:07
Speaker 3: It is day eleven of Operation Epic Fury. The United
• 2:11
Speaker 3: States and its allies are continuing to deliver overwhelming blows
• 2:15
Speaker 3: to the Iranian regime's military infrastructure, and by nearly every measure,
• 2:21
Speaker 3: the coalition is gaining the upper hand in a major way.
• 2:25
Speaker 3: As President Donald Trump and the White House continue to
• 2:28
Speaker 3: go all out in our attacks on the Iyatola in
• 2:32
Speaker 3: the infrastructure there. This operation, as you know, began on
• 2:35
Speaker 3: February the twenty eighth, when the United States and Israel
• 2:38
Speaker 3: launched coordinated strikes designed to dismantle Iran's missile capabilities, cripple
• 2:44
Speaker 3: its military leadership, and eliminate the regime's ability to threaten
• 2:48
Speaker 3: American forces or develop or deliver a nuclear weapon. That
• 2:54
Speaker 3: is something that the President has laid out from day one,
• 2:57
Speaker 3: and the results so far have been staggering. According to
• 3:01
Speaker 3: Pentagon officials, more than five thousand Iranian military targets have
• 3:06
Speaker 3: now been struck since the campaign began. These strikes have
• 3:10
Speaker 3: focused on missile launchers, command centers, air defenses, drone factories,
• 3:17
Speaker 3: and key revolutionary guard facilities. In just the first few
• 3:21
Speaker 3: days alone, you may remember, the White House talked about
• 3:24
Speaker 3: the US forces hit nearly two thousand pre planned targets,
• 3:28
Speaker 3: deploying thousands of precision guid ammunitions from fighters, bombers, naval forces,
• 3:34
Speaker 3: and long range missiles as well. Among the biggest accomplishments
• 3:38
Speaker 3: over the past several days are showing big victories. Iran's
• 3:42
Speaker 3: missile capabilities have been heavily degraded. Hundreds of ballistic missiles,
• 3:47
Speaker 3: launchers and drone systems have been completely destroyed, dramatically reducing
• 3:53
Speaker 3: Iran's ability to strike US bases and allies across the region,
• 3:58
Speaker 3: which they did early on. The second big thing that's
• 4:01
Speaker 3: happened over the last couple of days is this. The
• 4:03
Speaker 3: Iranian Navy has taken a devastating blow. Dozens of warships
• 4:09
Speaker 3: as well as naval vessels have been destroyed or completely sunk,
• 4:13
Speaker 3: including mine laying ships that threatened shipping lanes in the
• 4:17
Speaker 3: Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. The third big
• 4:20
Speaker 3: thing that's happened over the last couple of days is this.
• 4:23
Speaker 3: Coalition forces have begun targeting Iran's military production pipeline, including
• 4:29
Speaker 3: factories that manufacture drones and missile components. Strategic bombers have
• 4:34
Speaker 3: dropped bunker busting bombs on hardened missiles facilities deep inside
• 4:39
Speaker 3: of Iran. The big other thing that has happened is this.
• 4:43
Speaker 3: The campaign has also struck key leadership as well as
• 4:47
Speaker 3: command structures tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including
• 4:52
Speaker 3: underground facilities linked to missile development and could force operations
• 4:58
Speaker 3: as well. What's the most telling is this US officials
• 5:02
Speaker 3: are now saying that Iran's retaliatory attacks are already slowing
• 5:07
Speaker 3: down significantly. The number of missiles lawns dropped significantly in
• 5:12
Speaker 3: recent days because their capabilities have been destroyed. The Defense
• 5:17
Speaker 3: Secretary Pete had said said the mission remains laser focused,
• 5:22
Speaker 3: and that the United States is winning with overwhelming and
• 5:25
Speaker 3: unrelenting force as American intelligence and targeting capabilities improve with
• 5:31
Speaker 3: every day of this campaign. Here is more of what
• 5:35
Speaker 3: Pete had to say to the world about exactly what's
• 5:38
  Speaker 3: happening right now.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: You see, this is not two thousand and three. This
• 5:43
Speaker 1: is not endless nation building under those types of quagmuires
• 5:48
Speaker 1: we saw under Bush or Obama. It's not even close.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: Our generation of soldier will not let that happen again,
• 5:56
Speaker 1: and nor will this president, who very clearly ran again
• 6:00
Speaker 1: against those kinds of never ending, nebulously scoped missions. Those
• 6:06
Speaker 1: days are dead. Instead, we're winning decisively with brutal efficiency,
• 6:12
Speaker 1: total air dominance, and an unbreakable will to accomplish the
• 6:16
Speaker 1: President's objectives on our timeline. We stay locked on the
• 6:21
Speaker 1: target because here at the Department of War that's our job.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: The Secretary of War wasn't done there, also saying this.
• 6:31
Speaker 1: On day ten of Operation Epic Fury. We are winning
• 6:35
Speaker 1: with an overwhelming and unrelenting focus on our objectives, which
• 6:41
Speaker 1: are the same as the day I gave my first
• 6:43
Speaker 1: briefing here on Operation Epic Fury. They're straightforward, and we
• 6:48
Speaker 1: are executing them with ruthless precision. One destroy their missile stockpiles,
• 6:55
Speaker 1: their missile launchers and their defense industrial base missile and
• 7:00
Speaker 1: their ability to make them. Two destroy their navy, and
• 7:06
Speaker 1: three permanently deny Iran nuclear weapons forever. It's a laser focused,
• 7:14
Speaker 1: maximum authority mission delivered with overwhelming and unrelenting precision, no hesitation,
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: no half measures.
• 7:23
Speaker 3: Now, the Secretary of War also made it clear what
• 7:26
Speaker 3: the present's mission is and what he is saying right
• 7:29
Speaker 3: now about what we are doing.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: But the President has made it clear to those concerns
• 7:35
Speaker 1: that we're not getting pulled in any direction. We're leading.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: The President is leading. He's determining where we want to go,
• 7:41
Speaker 1: what the outcome will be, what the end state is,
• 7:43
Speaker 1: with a very keen eye. And I understand those concerns
• 7:46
Speaker 1: because I've heard from a lot of people who went
• 7:48
Speaker 1: through I went through twenty years of those wars, myself,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: worried about getting dragged in, worried about Mission creep, worried
• 7:55
Speaker 1: about nation building or democracy expansion. Never the perspective the
• 8:01
Speaker 1: President has pursued on this. Just because previous presidents and
• 8:05
Speaker 1: previous secretaries have decided to just pour more resources and
• 8:08
Speaker 1: more people in toward some unguided end state, doesn't mean
• 8:12
Speaker 1: that's the way the world needs to look today. In fact,
• 8:16
Speaker 1: the American people voted for a different approach. But the
• 8:19
Speaker 1: President also stated from the beginning, zaran can have a
• 8:22
Speaker 1: nuclear weapon. And it's one thing to say it. It's
• 8:25
Speaker 1: easy to say. Anybody can say that. I mean, Barack
• 8:28
Speaker 1: Obama said that. But to do something about it takes
• 8:32
Speaker 1: courage and resolve. But in that courage and in that resolve,
• 8:36
Speaker 1: you can also be very scoped in what you're trying
• 8:38
Speaker 1: to execute to ensure that the sacrifice of Americans, American treasure,
• 8:43
Speaker 1: American lives, all of those properly meet the objective that
• 8:48
Speaker 1: you're trying to accomplish. And certainly, as someone I talked
• 8:51
Speaker 1: out front about what the reignings have done to our generation,
• 8:54
Speaker 1: yes we're clear eyed about it, but my job is
• 8:56
Speaker 1: to keep it scoped given the director of the President.
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: To the mission.
• 9:02
Speaker 3: This is exactly why the President of United States of
• 9:04
Speaker 3: America picked that the Secretary of Order, Pete head Sets
• 9:07
Speaker 3: for this job. He has been in that never ending
• 9:11
Speaker 3: war and he wants to make sure that no one
• 9:13
Speaker 3: else has to go through that because he witnessed it firsthand.
• 9:17
Speaker 3: So as we move into day eleventh, the strategic picture
• 9:21
Speaker 3: is becoming even clear. Iran's missile arsenal is shrinking, its
• 9:26
Speaker 3: naval power is collapsing, Its military production facilities are being dismantled,
• 9:32
Speaker 3: and coalition forces are maintaining air and seed dominance across
• 9:36
Speaker 3: the region. To put it plainly, Operation Epic Fury, and
• 9:41
Speaker 3: the mastermind of it, President Donald J. Trump. He has
• 9:45
Speaker 3: made it clear this is becoming one of the most
• 9:48
Speaker 3: intense and consequential US military campaigns in the Middle East
• 9:53
Speaker 3: in decades, and officials say the next phase will focus
• 9:57
Speaker 3: on permanently destroying iran It's missile production network so the
• 10:02
Speaker 3: regime can never rebuild its offensive capabilities. Again, this is
• 10:07
Speaker 3: exactly what the President is focused on right now, and
• 10:11
Speaker 3: he's also doing it for another reason, to make sure
• 10:14
Speaker 3: that we don't have to worry about a nuclear ran
• 10:17
Speaker 3: coming after us, our Americans around the world.
