- 0:28Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Just allow your
- 0:34eyes to gently close and focus on your breathing. Just
- 0:41let all your troubles just float away. Take a deep
- 0:47breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe
- 0:54out through your mouth. Again, take another deep breath, slowly
- 1:05and gently breathe out through your mouth. One last time,
- 1:14deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out through
- 1:20your mouth. Just bring your breathing back to its normal
- 1:26rhythm and just relax, letting all your thoughts just drift away. Now,
- 1:36imagine yourself standing on your own private, magical island, a
- 1:44place that is just yours. And here in this place
- 1:50you are safe, you are loved, and you are protected always. Now,
- 2:00this magical island of yours is surrounded by the bluest ocean,
- 2:06and the water sparkles and shines like thousands of diamonds,
- 2:11all glittering in the sunlight. And above your island is
- 2:16a rainbow, a beautiful, huge rainbow of many colors. Can
- 2:22you see a floating above your island? Can you see
- 2:26it's magnificence in the sky above you, the purples and
- 2:31the blues, the greens and the yellows, the oranges, and
- 2:34the reds. You can even see silver and gold too.
- 2:40What were the colors? Can you see? Each time you
- 2:44breathe in, your rainbow becomes larger and larger, until it
- 2:49fills the whole sky above you with so many beautiful colors.
- 2:56It's amazing. Now, magine that you're standing on a long,
- 3:03sandy beach and you can smell the fresh, clean, salty air,
- 3:08and it tickles your nose a little bit. It feels
- 3:10warm and nice on your skin. You can hear the
- 3:14sound of seagulls flying above you, rising so high, and
- 3:19then swooping down towards the gentle waves, trying to catch
- 3:22their dinner. But the fish are very quick, and they
- 3:26swim off at a rate of knots, laughing very loudly
- 3:29as they go. Can you see them? Can you hear them?
- 3:38You turn your attention to the beautiful, deep blue ocean
- 3:44and you watch each gentle wave moving so gracefully, and
- 3:49you watch the sparkles from the sunlight bounce on the
- 3:52surface of the water. It's so bright, but it doesn't
- 3:55hurt to look at it. To walk towards a vast ocean,
- 4:02feeling the sand beneath your feet and in between your toes,
- 4:06and it feels so warm and soft on your skin,
- 4:11breathing fresh ocean air. Oh, you feel so peaceful here,
- 4:17so calm and relaxed, and it's all yours. As you
- 4:24look around you you notice of ahead a long wooden
- 4:28dock leading out into the beautiful blue water. So you
- 4:33decide to go and have a look around it, wondering
- 4:36if you might see anything else? Is there anything else
- 4:39to see? As you walk along the dock, you can
- 4:43see below you the crystal clear water, and you can
- 4:48even see the most colorful fish swimming on by. It's
- 4:55then that you notice that there is something at the
- 4:58end of the dock kind of looks a bit odd.
- 5:01It looks like a big glass ball, and it's just
- 5:05floating in the water, and you wonder what on earth
- 5:09could it be. As you reach the big glass ball,
- 5:15you realize that it's a small well, kind of like
- 5:19a submarine.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Really.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Its glass door is open, and you see inside that
- 5:26there is the most amazing chair filled with soft cushions
- 5:30of many, many different colors. You decide to climb inside
- 5:35and sit down on the chair, and you find that
- 5:38it is the softest chair you have ever sat on,
- 5:42and it completely fits your body. You think that this
- 5:48would make an amazing place to sleep. As you sit there,
- 5:54the door gently closes and you see in front of
- 5:57you a little note and it sets Hello, friend, this
- 6:02glass submarine is just for you. It's for you to
- 6:06go on a journey beneath the sea, to venture out
- 6:10and to explore the world under the big blue ocean.
- 6:15How how exciting is that? You can't wait to explore?
- 6:21But how do you start the engine? You wonder. You
- 6:25look down at your feet and you see that there
- 6:28are pedals, just like on your bicycle at home. There
- 6:33is also a steering wheel, like the ones in a car. Well,
- 6:37you think it looks easy enough, so you take hold
- 6:41of the steering reel and begin to pedal. The glass
- 6:46submarine moves slowly and gently forward, and you can see
- 6:52the small waves washing all around you. As you move,
- 6:57you begin to pick up a bit of speed, and
- 7:00you pedal through the beautiful waves. And as you do,
- 7:05you hear in the distance the sound of whales as
- 7:09they sing to each other. You can't see them, but
- 7:13you can't hear them. As you pedal, you notice that
- 7:24your little glass submarine has now started to go beneath
- 7:29the waves, and you watch as the water rises and
- 7:34rises until you're completely under the water. Wow, this is amazing.
- 7:41The water is so clear, and you can see a
- 7:45very very long way, and you can now see the
- 7:50whales far out ahead of you, and you watch them
- 7:54as they swim so gracefully with long, slow movements, and
- 7:59you think that they are very beautiful. Indeed, you see
- 8:06all around you lots and lots of colorful fish, big ones,
- 8:12small ones, even squat fat ones. And you see floating
- 8:17past you two jellyfish deep in conversation with each other,
- 8:21and they smile at you as they pass by. How
- 8:24wonderful is that? You see a family of octopus darting
- 8:28past and as if they are playing a game of catch,
- 8:33chasing each other and having lots of fun. And then
- 8:35they disappear off into the distance. You see a sharks
- 8:41went by with the top hat on and a cane
- 8:43tucked under his fin. How what he raises his hat
- 8:47as he passes you, and he says good day. He
- 8:51is followed by lots of baby sharks, all swimming quickly
- 8:56trying to keep.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Up with him.
- 8:59Speaker 1: And it's then that you re.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Well.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Actually he's a teacher and he's taking the baby sharks
- 9:04out on a field trip. Look around you and you
- 9:09keep pedaling along in your glass submarine, thoroughly enjoying yourself.
- 9:14You can see so many different underwater creatures that you
- 9:19don't even recognize. Some of them. Well, that's because you've
- 9:22never seen them before. There's so many of them. You
- 9:26decide to go deeper down into the ocean, and as
- 9:30you do, you see something swimming towards you. As it
- 9:35gets closer, you see that it is a marmaid, but
- 9:39very beautiful and very very long blonde hair floating all
- 9:45around her. She gives you the biggest grin and waves
- 9:49hello to you, and you wave back as she swims
- 9:53on by, followed by all her dolphin friends, and there
- 9:56are lots of them. You can see the coral on
- 10:02the ocean floor and it is wonderful, so many different
- 10:07shapes and sizes, so many beautiful colors. Some of the
- 10:11coral remains still and just stays upright, whilst other coral
- 10:16gently floats backwards and forwards, just swaying in the cool,
- 10:21calm waters. You can even see tiny little fish sheltering
- 10:26in amongst it, swimming in and out looking for some food,
- 10:31or you think this is so wonderful.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Up ahead of you.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You see little twinkling lights. Can you wonder what it is?
- 10:44It kind of looks like a pathway leading you to somewhere,
- 10:48and there are lots of those little lights too. So
- 10:53for just a little wife, go and explore this underwater world.
- 10:58Follow the lights, see where they lead you to. Maybe
- 11:03it's an underwater city, maybe other people live there, maybe
- 11:09it's a ma made city, or maybe it's just full
- 11:13of all the different secretures, all living together very happily
- 11:18in their very own underwater world.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Now wouldn't that be fun?
- 11:59Speaker 3: Much?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Wow? Now that was exciting, wasn't it? How lovely? But
- 14:19now it's time for you to return. But it's a
- 14:22long trip home, so you decide to lie back and
- 14:27have a little sleep, just for a few minutes. Of course,
- 14:31you lean back in your comfy chair and close your
- 14:35eyes for just a little bit. And even though your
- 14:39eyes are closed, you remember in your mind all of
- 14:42the wonderful things that you have seen today. And don't worry,
- 14:48your little glass submarine will guide you gently home. It
- 14:53knows the way you know you smile to yourself, feeling
- 14:58so peaceful, so calm, so relaxed. As you sink deeper
- 15:06and deeper into your comfy chair with lots of soft cushions,
- 15:14you take a deep sigh, relaxing even further, sinking down
- 15:20and down, sinking down and down into blissful sleep, feeling
- 15:26ever so happy. You take a breath and you sigh
- 15:32it back out, big long sigh as you go deeper
- 15:38and deeper into sleep, and your eyes feel so heavy now,
- 15:44so relaxed, so peaceful and calm, but you feel so
- 15:52very very happy, and you drift off to sleep, feeling
- 16:00so peaceful, so wonderful, and dreaming all about the things
- 16:07you've seen today. And the really best bit about this
- 16:12day is that when you wake up, you will be
- 16:16back in your very own bed. And don't forget there
- 16:21are many more places for you to visit in this
- 16:25beautiful underwater world. But for now, have a little sleep
- 16:34and just rest night night. Now, Imagine that you're standing
- 16:45on a bright pink path and it feels very soft
- 16:50as you begin to walk on it, and as you
- 16:54walk it feels like your feet are sticking to it
- 16:56a little bit. How strange, m so you keep walking.
- 17:03You look ahead of you and you see that the
- 17:06path is a bit windy, it's not straight at all,
- 17:09and you wonder where it leads, so you decide to
- 17:14follow it and see. And as you walk, you notice
- 17:20the tall trees swaying gently in the breeze, and you
- 17:24can hear the sounds of the birds singing to each other.
- 17:28You can even hear some small animals scurrying in the grass,
- 17:31and you wonder what they're doing. You think that they're
- 17:34probably looking for something to eat, and maybe just having
- 17:37fun playing with their friends. You can't see them now,
- 17:40they're moving far too quickly. You follow the path as
- 17:47it sneaks through the trees, and they are so tall,
- 17:51these trees, that you can't see the top of them.
- 17:54But you can see the sunshine breaking through the tops
- 17:57of the branches though almost looks like stars shining in
- 18:03the daylight as it peeks out through the highest branches.
- 18:10Suddenly you come across a bright pink fence with a
- 18:13gate in the middle of it, and there's a sign
- 18:17on the gate and it says, please enter if you
- 18:20want to have the best night sleep ever. You think
- 18:24that sounds like a very good idea. Indeed, the fence
- 18:29and the gate are made of the same stuff that
- 18:32the path is made of. Can you think to yourself
- 18:35that the more you look at the fence and the
- 18:37gate and the path, it kind of looks like icing, sticky,
- 18:43gooey icing. Well, that would explain why your feet have
- 18:48been feeling like they were sticking to the path, now,
- 18:50wouldn't it. You open the gate and walk through. On
- 18:57the other side of the gate is something quite amazing.
- 19:03You can see a big blue lake and he has
- 19:07an island in the middle of it. The pink, sticky
- 19:11gooey path is still there, and it leads down to
- 19:14the water's edge, where there's a little boat waiting just
- 19:17for you. You hurry down the path, feeling ever so
- 19:22excited now, and as you've reached the little boat, you
- 19:25see that someone is waiting for you. That's someone is
- 19:29a very cheeky monkey with a big grin on his face,
- 19:32and he says, come on, now, come on, I've been
- 19:35waiting for you. The monkey has on a striped green
- 19:39and yellow T shirt, bright orange short and a big
- 19:43purple hat with a feather sticking out with it. She's
- 19:46very colorful. You happily jump into the boat and sit
- 19:52down next to the monkey, whose name is Sausage. By
- 19:55the way, he says, this is because he just loves sausages.
- 20:01He has them for his breakfast, he has them for
- 20:04his lunch, he has them for his dinner. He even
- 20:08has them for a bedtime snack too. My word, at
- 20:13a lot of sausages, no wonder. They call him Sausage,
- 20:17and you think that if he keeps eating that many sausages,
- 20:20he'll start to look like one. Now that you've settled
- 20:25in your seat, Sausage begins to row. He is really
- 20:30quite strong, and he seems to be rowing very quickly, indeed,
- 20:35because within minutes he've arrived at the island in the
- 20:38middle of the lake. He jump out of the boat
- 20:42and turned to thanks Sausage for bringing you here. When
- 20:45he's already off, he's rowing again. He shout goodbye, but
- 20:48carries on rowing. Wow, he really does row fast. He's
- 20:52halfway across the lake already. You take a good look
- 20:57around you and what you see. It's wonderful. The whole island. Well,
- 21:04it looks like everything's made of sweets. Oh, I like sweets.
- 21:10There is icing all over the ground, and it's very spongy.
- 21:15The trees are made of sweets, the flowers are made
- 21:19of sweets. And there are massive doughnuts all over the place. Doughnuts, yeah,
- 21:25big donut doughnut with blue icing, yellow icing, chocolate icing,
- 21:32every kind of icing. They're everywhere. And it's then you
- 21:37see another sign, And this sign says this is where
- 21:42the sleepy doughnuts live. So please don't shout, thank you
- 21:47sleepy doughnut. Who on earth could they be? You wonder?
- 21:53As you take a close look around, you see that
- 21:56all the doughnuts are actually asleep. Some are sleeping in hammocks,
- 22:02some are sleeping on bean bags, and some of them
- 22:05are You're sitting cropped up by the trees and are
- 22:07quietly snoring as they slumber. Oh wow, you think this
- 22:11place is so fabulous. You walk quietly around, taking care
- 22:17not to wake the sleeping doughnuts, and soon you come
- 22:21across a little house. Now, this house is made of licorice,
- 22:26red licorice. It has a marshmallow chimney, It has sponge
- 22:32cake windows, and its roof is made of toffees, lots
- 22:36and lots of toffees. Ooh, look, ever, some eyes It
- 22:42has flowers all around it, and they are all made
- 22:45of sweets, sweets of every kind. How fantastic is that?
- 22:53As you stand there looking at the amazing little house,
- 22:57you hear a voice call your name and says, come in.
- 23:01I've been waiting for you arrive. Sasha has told me
- 23:04you were coming. You have no idea how Sausage could
- 23:08have told him you were coming. Maybe he had a
- 23:11mobile phone. Let him know that way. You walk inside
- 23:16and you see before you another great, big donut. This
- 23:21one is all covered in pink icing, and he has
- 23:25the most amazing, sleepy brown eyes with the kindest smile
- 23:30you have ever seen. He crims at you and tells
- 23:34you his name is Cecil, and this is Doughnut Island.
- 23:39He already knows your name. He tells you that this
- 23:43is the place to come if you want to have
- 23:45a wonderful night's sleep. You look around the little house
- 23:51and you see that it's enchanting. It has a little
- 23:54log fire burning brightly and giving off the most wonderful glow.
- 23:59It shaped bean bags everywhere, and there are little lamps
- 24:04in each corner of the room, and there's a big
- 24:07old bookcase filled with all the stories that you love best.
- 24:13Cecl tells you to take a seat in one of
- 24:15the beanbags, so you choose the most comfiest one and
- 24:20sit down. Oh my, you think you can go to
- 24:25sleep right now. It's so comfy. It's like this beanbag
- 24:29was made to fit your body. Cecil hands you a
- 24:34great big mug of hot chocolate to drink. It has
- 24:37marshmallows in it, and it has lovely thick squirty cream
- 24:42on the top of it. Mm, and it smells lovely.
- 24:47You take a sip and it really is delicious. It
- 24:51makes you feel all warm and tingly inside. Then Cecil
- 24:56tells you that everyone that comes here they come to
- 24:59have or to have a great night's sleep.
- 25:03Speaker 3: He asks you.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Which one you would like, so you tell him you
- 25:07would like a great night's sleep. Cecil tells you that
- 25:13he can help you to sleep. He tells you that
- 25:17he will make sure that this would be your best
- 25:20night's sleep ever. First, he gives you a marshmallow pillow. First,
- 25:28he gives you a marshmallow pillow for your head and
- 25:32he can rest him. Then he places a marshmallow blanket
- 25:36on you that is so soft and squishy you can
- 25:40already feel yourself getting sleepy. Cecil picks up a little
- 25:45bag and puts his hand inside, and he tells you
- 25:49it's full of stardust, twinkling, beautiful star dust, and he
- 25:56takes some of it out with his hand and he
- 25:58sprinkles it all over your head. Oh my, you feel
- 26:03your eyes closing, You begin to feel your feet falling asleep.
- 26:09Cecil tells you it's time to rest now, after all,
- 26:14that is what you came here for. You are all
- 26:18snuggled up on your beam back now with your marshmallow
- 26:23pillow and your marshmallow blanket, feeling all yummy inside with
- 26:28your hot chocolate drink, and your breathing starts to slow down,
- 26:36and your little eyes don't want to open. You can
- 26:41feel yourself drifting to sleep. You can hear Cecil's voice
- 26:48quietly in the background. You have no idea what he's saying.
- 26:55You only know that you feel so safe and so
- 27:00loved that she drift deeper and deeper into a lovely
- 27:06night's sleep. So just sleep now, and with Cecil's help,
- 27:13you will have the sweetest dreams ever.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Night night.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Now, Imagine you're walking on a quiet forest path and
- 27:28the most beautiful forest you have ever seen, and as
- 27:33you're walking, you know that this is an ancient forest,
- 27:39and this forest is very special, and you are very safe,
- 27:44very loved, and very protected. You'll take a big deep
- 27:52breath in, and as you do, you can smell the
- 27:56fresh scent of pine in the airth breathe out. You
- 28:01feel yourself relaxing more and more with each step that
- 28:06you take. And the trees are all around you and
- 28:12you can feel their wise energy surrounding you as you
- 28:16step deeper and deeper beneath the wonderful canopy of leaves.
- 28:24The sun is shining and there is a gentle breeze
- 28:27on your face and it ruffles your hair just a
- 28:31little bit, and the water of the sun makes you
- 28:35feel all tingling inside, and you feel very happy here.
- 28:43You notice that your attention is captured with watching the
- 28:48squirrels and the rabbits darting about. The squirrels are racing
- 28:53up and down the trees, the rabbits playing and running about,
- 28:57chasing each other, and they really are have fun. And
- 29:01you notice the birds flying and hopping from place to place,
- 29:04singing their songs, and all the other wildlife at work
- 29:08and at play. It's a very busy place, this forest
- 29:12of yours. Now, imagine what it would be like to
- 29:18enjoy yourself and have fun just like these little creatures, exploring, discovering,
- 29:24and playing. Maybe you'd like to fly like a bird,
- 29:30or climb a tree like a squirrel and be carefree,
- 29:34Or maybe you would just like to run like the rabbits.
- 29:37What fun that would be. What You don't do any
- 29:43of that today, because today you are just walking around
- 29:46the forest, breathing in fresh, clean air in the warm sunshine.
- 29:54So you continue on your path, smiling, thinking about the
- 29:58beautiful little creatures who are having so much fun together.
- 30:03When you see up ahead of you there is a
- 30:05little clearing.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Well.
- 30:08Speaker 1: As you enter the clearing it's very quiet and it
- 30:13feels magical and enchanted, and you look around and you
- 30:20notice that there is a small house at the end
- 30:22of the clearing well. It's not a small really, it's
- 30:27about the size of a small cabin, and it's also
- 30:32in the shape of a very large mushroom. It has
- 30:36a little porch running all around it, and you can
- 30:39see that on the porch of this mushroom shaped cabin
- 30:44that there is a lovely old hammock slowly swinging in
- 30:48the gentle breeze. Now it's a white house, and it
- 30:53has a round red roof with white spots on it,
- 30:57and a little red door. It has big pots on
- 31:01the porch too, with lots of colorful flowers in them,
- 31:03and there are daffodils growing all over the place, and
- 31:08it looks delightful, and you wonder who lives there. So
- 31:14you walk towards it, and as you do, you see
- 31:17glints of sparkling lights darting in and out behind the trees.
- 31:21They are at the back of the little house, but
- 31:23you're not afraid, and you wonder what it could be.
- 31:26It kind of looks like little fairies darting in and
- 31:28out of the trees. How wonderful would that be if
- 31:31you could actually see one. You continue towards the house
- 31:36and you decide to knock on the little red door
- 31:38to see if anyone is at home. What before you can,
- 31:44the door opens, and out walks two little girls and
- 31:48a little boy, and they're all carrying little baskets. They
- 31:54stop when they see you. Then you smile at them,
- 31:58and they come towards you. They all have the most amazing,
- 32:02big kind eyes and the most beautiful smiles, and they
- 32:07say hello to you, and they tell you that their
- 32:11names are Delilah Madeline and hold them so you tell
- 32:16them your name. Delilah tells you that they are going
- 32:21foraging from mushrooms for their dinner, and they ask you
- 32:24if you would like to go with them. Well, of
- 32:27course you say yes, You say yes, please, thank you
- 32:30very much. So she hands you a little basket. The
- 32:36four of you set off into the trees at the
- 32:38back of the little mushroom house. As you walk, Madeline
- 32:42tells you that there are only certain mushrooms that you
- 32:44can forage for because some of them are not very
- 32:47good to eat. Some of them can make quite sick,
- 32:51but she says not to worry, as she will show
- 32:53you which ones are safe to pick. Well, that's okay.
- 32:57Then hold her brushes off her head and says, follow me,
- 33:02I know where they grow. He gives a little laugh
- 33:06and then skips off, with the three of you catching
- 33:08up behind him. Suddenly, Holden stops and with a big grin,
- 33:14points to the mushrooms he's found. Elilah stops and looks
- 33:19at the mushrooms and gives an excited laugh. She tells
- 33:22you that there are many varieties of mushrooms growing here,
- 33:26but she says is very unusual because some of these
- 33:29mushrooms don't grow in this country at all, but because
- 33:32they live in this very special, magical place, they find
- 33:36them all the time. And she names some of the
- 33:39mushrooms she sees. There are button mushrooms, which are the
- 33:44white ones and the ones that most people like to eat.
- 33:49And there are Crimini mushrooms they usually grow in Italy.
- 33:54There are portabello mushrooms, Chittaki mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, Puccini mushrooms,
- 33:59and many many more. Wow, that's a lot of mushrooms,
- 34:03you think to yourself. Madeline tells you when you're foraging
- 34:09for mushrooms, you must only select mushrooms that are firme
- 34:13that have a smooth appearance. She says not to pick
- 34:16any that have any spots or marks on them, and
- 34:18she says never pick any moist or slimy ones. They
- 34:22are really yucky. So for a little while, go and
- 34:27forage for mushrooms with Delilah Madeline and hold them see
- 34:32how many you can pick. And don't forget you're picking
- 34:36them for their dinner, so you'll need lots and lots.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Of them to go and have some fun.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Well that was fun, wasn't it. So the three of
- 36:45you go back to the little mushroom house with the
- 36:47red door, with your baskets filled up to the very
- 36:51brim with mushrooms. You have button mushrooms, port chini mushrooms,
- 36:56and portobello mushrooms, and they look very tasty. Indeed, as
- 37:03she reached the little mushroom House, the door opens and
- 37:06a lady pops out, and she is the children's mamma.
- 37:11She tells you that her name is Jill Holden. Tells
- 37:15her your name, and she is very pleased that the
- 37:18children have made a new friend, and she asks you
- 37:22if you would like to stay for dinner, especially as
- 37:24you helped to pick all the tasty mushrooms. Oh yes,
- 37:28I would loved you. Thank you very much. So you
- 37:33step inside the house, which is very lovely. There are
- 37:38big settees with big squishy cushions on them. There's a
- 37:43big wooden table for you all to sit at when
- 37:45you have your dinner. But you all trudge into the
- 37:49kitchen carrying her baskets, and you meet two more people.
- 37:54One is a man called Zach who tells you that
- 37:57he is the children's paper. There is another lovely lady
- 38:01called Lindsey, and she is the children's boneless mum. How
- 38:07cool is that these children have two mums. Two mums
- 38:12means lots of hooks and kisses, and dads give hugs
- 38:17and kisses too. Now, because the four of you have
- 38:21done all the foraging, Jill and Lindsey prepared the food
- 38:26for you all while Sac sets the table and cuts
- 38:30some butters lovely fresh crusty bread. So you will take
- 38:34your seat at the table. And after a short while,
- 38:37all the food is ready and gets placed on the table,
- 38:42and Delightah tells you that they are having mushroom soup
- 38:46for dinner, followed by a great big mushroom tart made
- 38:51with cream, cheese and nutty pastry, with lots of salad
- 38:54and fresh fruits, and this ice cream for pudding. Well,
- 39:00I must say that sounds rather delicious to me. Lindy
- 39:06tells you to talk in and help yourself to all
- 39:10the lovely smelling food. So, just to be polite, of course,
- 39:16you do. After you've eaten your wonderful dinner and you're
- 40:10feeling very full up. Indeed, you tell your new friends.
- 40:14That it's time for you to go home now. So
- 40:17you stand up and you thank them all very much
- 40:20for letting you come into their home and be with them.
- 40:23He sent Delilah, he sent Madeline and Holding for taking
- 40:29you to pick the very tasty mushrooms and have lots
- 40:32and lots of fun with them. The children walk with
- 40:37you to the little front door and wave you off,
- 40:41and they tell you that you can come again to
- 40:43forest for mushrooms with them any time you want. And
- 40:47you smile and you turn, you wave goodbye, and you
- 40:51begin to walk home. But you feel so happy right now.
- 40:59You are so grateful to have met these wonderful children, Delilah,
- 41:05Madeline and hold them, and their lovely Mamma and Papa,
- 41:10Jill and Zach. Of course, not forgetting Lindsay their bonus man. Oh,
- 41:17but you can't wait to come back. Maybe next time
- 41:21you can bring a mushroom recipe with you too, Maybe
- 41:24you can try that one out. But for now, just
- 41:29breathe in gently and breathe out slowly. Again, breathe in
- 41:39gently and breathe out slowly. You can feel your eyes
- 41:47beginning to close now, and you just breathe in gently
- 41:54breathe out slowly, and you feel so peaceful, so happy,
- 42:02and you feel so calm to start to fall into
- 42:06a beautiful sleep, and you drift in to sleep thinking
- 42:11about your new very kind and very lovely friends, Delilah,
- 42:18Madeline and Holden. Night Night, Sweet dreams. Now, imagine that
- 42:30you're standing on a secluded beach and the sand is
- 42:35beautiful and very white, and it's very early in the morning,
- 42:41and you're sitting barefoot on the sand. They're just sitting
- 42:45there watching the sunrise and feeling very happy. You can
- 42:52see all its glorious colors as it slowly rises up
- 42:57to begin the new day. And you can hear the
- 43:03rhythmic sounds of the waves as they gently come up
- 43:06onto the shore, and you can hear the seabirds soothe
- 43:13and swoop as they fly above you, and it brings
- 43:18your comfort, a feeling of deep peace and happiness because
- 43:23they look happy too. The ocean mist is cool on
- 43:28your face, and you can smell the salty air, you
- 43:32can even taste it. You can even smell the seaweed,
- 43:37and the sand smells clean and fresh. You sit there,
- 43:46watching the sunrise gradually from the sea, changing the sky
- 43:51from a dark blue to a brilliant yellow and orange color,
- 43:56and it makes a rolling waves sparkle as the sunlight
- 43:59dances on it, and it's like a thousand tiny lights,
- 44:03all shining and dancing just for you. You take a
- 44:09good look around you and you notice they're further along
- 44:13the beach or some lovely rocks and you can go
- 44:16and explore them. Maybe there's even some rock pools too,
- 44:20So you stand up and you walk towards them, listening
- 44:24to the ocean waves as they come up onto the sand,
- 44:28gently coming in to cover shells and bits of seaweed.
- 44:33And as you watch the waves retreat back into the ocean,
- 44:37ebbing and flowing backwards forwards, over and over again, you
- 44:44reach the rocks and begin to explore what you can find.
- 44:49You climb over some smaller rocks. They're a bit craggy
- 44:51and they're not that easy to walk on, so you
- 44:54decide to be a bit more careful. After all, you
- 44:57don't want to slip and fall over, now, do you?
- 45:00Speaker 3: Oh?
- 45:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't? You move on to more rocks. These are
- 45:05a bit bigger. Now, surely there must be a rock
- 45:08pool there, you think to yourself. You come across a
- 45:13nice little group of rocks and decide to sit down
- 45:16and have a little moot around them. And to your delight,
- 45:20there is a lovely rock pool there just for you
- 45:22to explore. You find a nice smooth rock to sit
- 45:26on and put your bare feet in the cool water,
- 45:31and it feels so nice gently moving your feet around
- 45:33in the water. But keep your eyes open for crabs
- 45:36or maybe a little fish who may have gotten trapped
- 45:38when the tide went back out. If they are in
- 45:42the pool, they will have to wait for the tide
- 45:43to come back in again so they can swim along home.
- 45:49As you look around the rocks, you see that there
- 45:52are a lot of different rocks. Some of them have
- 45:56a rough texture, whilst some of them feel quite smooth.
- 46:00Some of them are poky, craggy and grainy. Some of
- 46:04them are lumpy, gritty, rocky and bristly. Some of them
- 46:09have a rather smooth texture and look glossy and silky.
- 46:13Some of them have a rather smooth texture and look
- 46:16glossy and silky, and some of them feel a bit
- 46:20velvety and even slimy. But you don't mind how they feel.
- 46:24You like all of them. As you sit there, with
- 46:29your feet in the lovely coold water. You hear a
- 46:32muffled sound and you wonder where it's coming from because
- 46:36you can't see anyone, because there's no one else on
- 46:39this beautiful beach, just you. You hear the sound again,
- 46:46then you hear a little voice saying, you're squashing me.
- 46:49Please get off me. You jump up and look down
- 46:52at the rock you are sitting on. No, it couldn't be,
- 46:57could it. And you heard was coming from the rock,
- 47:02But that can't be right. Rocks can't talk. Just then,
- 47:07the rock slowly begins to move. The rock you were
- 47:13sitting on unfolds itself and you see a little face
- 47:17peering out at you. You were squashing me, so I
- 47:21had to tell you to move, said the little rock.
- 47:24You are absolutely flabbergasted. The rock is talking to you.
- 47:30How can that be? The little rock sees that you
- 47:35are confused and says to you, don't be afraid. I
- 47:38won't hurt you. My name is Jacob, and you are
- 47:42sitting with me and my family. We are the guardians
- 47:46of the little sea creatures who sometimes get trapped when
- 47:49the tide goes out and can't get home, so we
- 47:52watch over them. Until the tide comes back in again.
- 47:56We are called punky mats and we live in the
- 47:59sea mostly, but some of us become guardians, so we
- 48:04live on the land too to protect the sea creatures.
- 48:08As you watch, more of the rocks begin to move
- 48:13and they unfil themselves, and what you see is really
- 48:16quite amazing. They all have lovely little smiley faces with beautiful,
- 48:23big kind eyes, and they kind of look like chunky
- 48:28dolls but made of rock. But they're very nice. They
- 48:34all introduce themselves to you and tell you their names,
- 48:37but there are so many of them you can't remember
- 48:40them all. And it's wonderful you're surrounded by lovely smiley rocks.
- 48:46They tell you that they were all born in the
- 48:48sea and that is their home, and they tell you
- 48:52that sometimes they get to go back for a holiday,
- 48:55but they do love being on the land too. They
- 48:59ask you if you'd like to sit with them for
- 49:00a while and chat. Also, they say you can help
- 49:04them protect the little secretures trapped in the pool. Well,
- 49:08of course you say yes, you would love to, and
- 49:11you can tell them all about you and where you live.
- 49:16So sit for a while and chat with the punky
- 49:18mots and get to know them. Maybe they are just
- 49:23like you.
- 50:41Speaker 3: N H.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Wow, that was fun, wasn't it talking to the pokmats.
- 51:54But they tell you it's time for you to go now,
- 51:57as the tide will be coming in soon, and they
- 51:59don't want you to get trapped too, neither to you.
- 52:04So you stand up and say thank you and goodbye
- 52:07to the punky mats, and you promise that you'll come
- 52:11back and see them again. You walk back along the
- 52:16sandy beach, and as if by magic, you find that
- 52:20you are in your very own bed again, feeling all
- 52:23warm and snuggling beneath the covers. And as you lie there,
- 52:30you remember the sounds of the ocean. You remember the
- 52:34sounds of the birds as they flew above you. You
- 52:38remember how happy you feel right now. But most of all,
- 52:45you remember the wonderful, kind and loving punky mats who
- 52:50live their lives to help all the little sea creatures.
- 52:56So remember, next time you are out and about, take
- 53:01a good look at any rocks you may see. They
- 53:05might not be just any rocks. They may be punky mots.
- 53:12Maybe they're there protecting other creatures too. Keep your eyes
- 53:16open when you're out, but you are breathing quietly and
- 53:22gently now, and you feel so wonderful. You feel so tired,
- 53:30so very sleepy now, but so very very happy, and.
- 53:37Speaker 6: You are drifting deeper and deeper into a beautiful, RESTful sleep,
- 53:46so peaceful, so.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Calm, so very safe. Night night.
- 55:03Speaker 7: The musing.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Them, the.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: Dais mum, m.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: M m.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: Never du schools in
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: U
