- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's almost famous podcast. I'm here today with Ashley and
- 0:10Speaker 2: we're gonna break down all the news happening in Bachelor Nation.
- 0:13Speaker 2: And there's some big news Ashley.
- 0:16Speaker 3: There is good news this week. I mean what I
- 0:17Speaker 3: mean good news. I mean we got some juicy scoop.
- 0:20Speaker 3: This is not a pointless headlines at all. Ben dive
- 0:23Speaker 3: into it.
- 0:24Speaker 2: A bachelorlum Cassie Randolph, Mary's musician Brighton rein Harp and
- 0:30Speaker 2: an intimate Costa Rican wedding.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Then, like, obviously we're partial to our own weddings and
- 0:37Speaker 3: our own wedding photos, but I could look at these
- 0:41Speaker 3: wedding photos for I could frame them in my own house.
- 0:45Speaker 3: That's how breathtaking. Cassie looks as she always does. I mean,
- 0:49Speaker 3: she is one of the most stunning people that I've
- 0:52Speaker 3: really ever seen in my life. And this is exactly
- 0:56Speaker 3: what I imagined her to look like as a bride.
- 0:59Speaker 3: But just seeing is just too much. It's so stunning.
- 1:02Speaker 3: So she and Brighton, he's a musician, they were friends.
- 1:07Speaker 3: They've been friends for ten years. They've known each other
- 1:08Speaker 3: ten years, and they started dating in twenty twenty dated
- 1:12Speaker 3: for ten years. He proposed in twenty twenty four, and
- 1:17Speaker 3: the couple had seventy people at this wedding in Costa Rica,
- 1:21Speaker 3: like you mentioned, and it was officiated by both of
- 1:24Speaker 3: their brothers, which is really cute. They said that they're
- 1:27Speaker 3: both nervous but excited and it was such a meaningful
- 1:30Speaker 3: and personal touch to do that. And then, of course
- 1:35Speaker 3: what's dominating the headlines is that Michelle Cassie is Cassie's sister,
- 1:42Speaker 3: who you know, is part of the Yellowstone franchise. She
- 1:47Speaker 3: has been seen out and about with Glenn Powell, and
- 1:50Speaker 3: US Weekly is reporting that they are dating casually. Somebody
- 1:55Speaker 3: said that there was like people were watching out basically
- 1:58Speaker 3: to see if he would come to this wedding. Did not,
- 2:01Speaker 3: which I think is expected. They've only been spotted like
- 2:04Speaker 3: a time or two together. But anyway, the Randoff girls
- 2:07Speaker 3: are just so stunning and I love looking at them
- 2:10Speaker 3: and I'm happy for all their romantic successes.
- 2:14Speaker 2: They have a really good looking family.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It's I mean, like they're just really unbelievable. The brother
- 2:18Speaker 3: is also gorgeous, Like isn't there is there four of them?
- 2:21Speaker 2: I don't know, but it's like pretty stupid, Like it's
- 2:24Speaker 2: one of those families that you're like, this isn't real. No, absolutely,
- 2:28Speaker 2: this can't happen. No, the next headline is Bachelor alum
- 2:33Speaker 2: Maddie Pruett is back in the headlines. She is quoted
- 2:37Speaker 2: in a podcast of her saying she struggled to learn
- 2:41Speaker 2: about being a submissive wife. Now it's her favorite thing.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Okay, So Ben, I'm gonna let you handle this headline.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh it was.
- 2:51Speaker 3: It was quite something to see on the timeline last week.
- 2:55Speaker 3: The quote is during a podcast that she and her
- 2:58Speaker 3: husband Grant, were doing with Bryce Crawford. I'm sure, do
- 3:02Speaker 3: you know who Bryce Crawford is.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I do. Yeah. He's like a young kind of like
- 3:06Speaker 2: Christian speaker.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Okay that's what I figured. Okay, cool. So they were
- 3:11Speaker 3: doing a podcast with him and she said that she's
- 3:14Speaker 3: learned a lot about being a submissive wife. It was
- 3:17Speaker 3: a challenge for me at first, and now it's like
- 3:20Speaker 3: my favorite thing. I love talking about submission. And this
- 3:25Speaker 3: is going on top of an interview that she or
- 3:28Speaker 3: a podcast that she did back in twenty twenty four
- 3:31Speaker 3: where she said, as a wife, I'm called to submit,
- 3:33Speaker 3: I'm called to respect. I'm called to honor, I'm called
- 3:35Speaker 3: to love. I'm called to be committed and to keep
- 3:38Speaker 3: our marriage bed pure and to make him other than
- 3:41Speaker 3: God my greatest priority. So Ben, I mean, I didn't
- 3:46Speaker 3: I read the comments. I know a lot of these posts,
- 3:49Speaker 3: and I feel like I'm in the majority. Actually, the
- 3:55Speaker 3: only comments that I ever that I saw were ugh
- 4:00Speaker 3: and I have to just agree. Please tell me where
- 4:05Speaker 3: we are all not seeing something.
- 4:09Speaker 2: M Oh goodness is such a good conversation.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I know, I know this could be a whole podcast.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I'm I'm so sorry to put this on you, but
- 4:19Speaker 3: I can try my best, our Christian speaker here on
- 4:21Speaker 3: the podcast. Please do your best.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'll do my best. Well, okay, let's start with giving
- 4:26Speaker 2: a picture of when and where this was said. It
- 4:29Speaker 2: was set in a podcast. It was kind of a
- 4:35Speaker 2: quick comment. Jessica and I went back and listened to
- 4:39Speaker 2: it because we're like, huh.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Okay, thank you, thanks for doing that, bad podcast host
- 4:45Speaker 3: and not giving myself.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and so I will give Maddie the benefit of
- 4:50Speaker 2: the doubt by saying like context and headlines is never
- 4:53Speaker 2: a thing, and so just like any clickbait, rage bait,
- 5:00Speaker 2: you never get context. This was a little rage and
- 5:04Speaker 2: to be honest. So I'm actually gonna go see Maddie
- 5:07Speaker 2: this week and talk with her, and I have a
- 5:12Speaker 2: lot of questions.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I do Wait, how are you going to talk to her? Like?
- 5:15Speaker 2: Are you to be honest show?
- 5:17Speaker 3: Oh? You you're going to fly down?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to do a lot. So I'm you know,
- 5:21Speaker 2: kind of in the secrets. I don't know actually how
- 5:24Speaker 2: much I can say and not say, but I'll say
- 5:25Speaker 2: iHeart and I have been working on a project for
- 5:28Speaker 2: the last six months that is going to be faith focused.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah uh. And it's not just in the podcast form,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and so it's going to be highlighting stories of faith
- 5:39Speaker 2: and trying to do it in a way that allows
- 5:43Speaker 2: the listener to not feel alone, but to you know,
- 5:47Speaker 2: experience everybody's stories of the love of Jesus. And so
- 5:52Speaker 2: I am flying to Nashville to do a lot of
- 5:54Speaker 2: that work, and then at the same time, because of
- 5:56Speaker 2: the release of Alone and Plain Sight, I'm going to
- 5:59Speaker 2: go on Maddie's show and talk about that a lot. Okay,
- 6:02Speaker 2: So I have a lot of questions for Maddie and
- 6:05Speaker 2: Jessica and Madison are our friends. Yeah, I've been around Madison.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I enjoy my time with her. I don't really know Grant,
- 6:14Speaker 2: so I can't speak to that, I think, and I'll
- 6:18Speaker 2: tell Maddie this I'm hesitant to. I don't love the
- 6:24Speaker 2: kind of quotes out of context when it comes to
- 6:28Speaker 2: the life of the sacred and talking about God because
- 6:33Speaker 2: it never can be really summed up in one sentence.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And so not only my belief, but I think what's
- 6:40Speaker 2: biblically true and what Maddie would agree with and Grant
- 6:43Speaker 2: agree with, is God is so much bigger than what
- 6:46Speaker 2: we can communicate in one sentence, or that we can
- 6:49Speaker 2: kind of put our stake in the ground and be like,
- 6:52Speaker 2: this is the way it should be, and this is
- 6:53Speaker 2: the way it is. God is so much bigger, and
- 6:56Speaker 2: oftentimes we fall short talking about God and talking about
- 7:02Speaker 2: ethics and morality and biblical interpretation because the God that
- 7:08Speaker 2: we love and believe in to be real and active
- 7:12Speaker 2: in this world is indescribable. You can't put words to it.
- 7:17Speaker 2: And I think that's where people get in trouble is
- 7:20Speaker 2: they try to put words to it. And then when
- 7:22Speaker 2: they try to put words to it in a way
- 7:24Speaker 2: that is so countercultural, and that can come off so
- 7:28Speaker 2: offensive to a majority of people. I think it gets
- 7:33Speaker 2: the believer into trouble and it gives a picture of
- 7:37Speaker 2: God that is not true because there's no context for
- 7:43Speaker 2: the conversation. So I think that's and that's just in general,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and I think that's the like the Really it's really hard,
- 7:50Speaker 2: I think, I'm sure it is. I don't know this yet,
- 7:52Speaker 2: but as a host of a podcast talking about faith,
- 7:55Speaker 2: it's going to be really hard to keep your words
- 7:59Speaker 2: above reproach and to keep your words in a responsible
- 8:03Speaker 2: manner so that the public does not look at it
- 8:06Speaker 2: and go I want nothing to do with that God
- 8:08Speaker 2: that you're talking about. It's really hard, and I'm sure
- 8:11Speaker 2: it is, and I'll say that from Madison. I will also, though,
- 8:15Speaker 2: say Jessica and I do not practice a household of submission,
- 8:22Speaker 2: and in fact I would actually I would be And
- 8:26Speaker 2: again I could talk to Madison about that. I don't
- 8:28Speaker 2: know if this is where our conversation will go, and
- 8:29Speaker 2: I really don't have any desire to argue with her.
- 8:33Speaker 2: It's her dance and her life and her marriage and
- 8:35Speaker 2: if it works for her and her family. Honestly, my
- 8:38Speaker 2: response is great, every couple has their own dance. Now
- 8:42Speaker 2: do I believe that every couple needs to have the
- 8:45Speaker 2: same dance as the couple next to, you know, And
- 8:49Speaker 2: that's why I think maybe this is kind of coming
- 8:51Speaker 2: off offensively. Also, it's saying, hey, we need to all
- 8:54Speaker 2: be submissive wives. And it's like, well, in this Christian household,
- 8:58Speaker 2: my wife does not submit to me and my authority
- 9:01Speaker 2: and we work great, and that's okay. Our household, I
- 9:05Speaker 2: would like to believe, represents the heart of Jesus, which
- 9:08Speaker 2: is an egalitarian household of equalness and compromise and self sacrifice,
- 9:16Speaker 2: just like Jesus did for all of us. We represent
- 9:19Speaker 2: the heart of God in this household by communication, collaboration,
- 9:23Speaker 2: by serving one another, compromising on things, discussing the big
- 9:28Speaker 2: topics with each other. And there are quotes or there
- 9:32Speaker 2: are verses in the Bible that you can kind of
- 9:34Speaker 2: pull out about submission. And before I get onto some
- 9:39Speaker 2: long historical rabbit trail, those are mostly speaking to like
- 9:44Speaker 2: a Greco Roman structure, because that's the times they're living in,
- 9:47Speaker 2: like husband, wife, slave, child, like it went down this
- 9:53Speaker 2: order of how a household operates in a Greco Roman culture.
- 9:58Speaker 2: We don't live in that culture anymore. So we don't
- 10:00Speaker 2: live in that society anymore. And and I think it's
- 10:04Speaker 2: it's a conversation worth having of can we what does
- 10:07Speaker 2: it look like to adjust? And I actually could argue
- 10:11Speaker 2: that a lot of these verses are not talking about
- 10:13Speaker 2: submission in the way that we understand it. I would
- 10:16Speaker 2: actually say that a lot of these verses are talking
- 10:19Speaker 2: about serving one another equally. But I don't really want
- 10:23Speaker 2: to get into a whole conversation about you know, biblical translation, get.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Into the whole conversation with Mattie. I can't wait for
- 10:29Speaker 3: this podcast.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Well, I mean I really, like I said, I don't
- 10:32Speaker 2: really have an interest because in arguing with her, because
- 10:35Speaker 2: I don't disagree with Madison if she believes that's how
- 10:39Speaker 2: their household best operates and that's how they both feel
- 10:43Speaker 2: most loved and seen. What I don't want, what I
- 10:46Speaker 2: wouldn't want, and not that I can even speak into
- 10:49Speaker 2: this in them because that's their household, their marriage. They
- 10:52Speaker 2: get to figure out how that dance looks and works
- 10:54Speaker 2: for them. But what I don't want is anybody reading
- 10:57Speaker 2: this and believing that when you get married, you become
- 11:00Speaker 2: less than want any I would want any person seeing this,
- 11:05Speaker 2: especially non believers, and going I want a Christian marriage,
- 11:10Speaker 2: or I want a marriage with somebody that follows Christ,
- 11:13Speaker 2: because it uplifts me to be a part of the
- 11:17Speaker 2: image bearer of Christ, which is one of love, undeniable love.
- 11:24Speaker 2: But again, I don't know if I could even disagree
- 11:26Speaker 2: with Maddie because I don't mind that they run their
- 11:28Speaker 2: household this way like it is what it is. It
- 11:31Speaker 2: works for them, and that's great. I just I think
- 11:34Speaker 2: that's where I said at the beginning. It gets dangerous
- 11:36Speaker 2: when you try to throw this biblical translation, and goodness,
- 11:42Speaker 2: conservative Christians are going to jump all over me for
- 11:44Speaker 2: this biblical translation onto a universal type of marriage. And
- 11:51Speaker 2: I think all of us should appreciate and respect each
- 11:55Speaker 2: other's own marriage dance, especially when it's healthy, working and loving.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Okay, did she give any examples on the podcast as
- 12:14Speaker 3: to what she means by summoning.
- 12:18Speaker 2: They didn't like dive into it. No, I mean I
- 12:20Speaker 2: think she has in passed. I haven't listened to like
- 12:22Speaker 2: past episodes. I think they have in passed. It's usually
- 12:26Speaker 2: I mean, I again, I'm not gonna attribute this to
- 12:29Speaker 2: what Maddie said, but it's usually meaning like the husband
- 12:33Speaker 2: has ultimate authority and final say and so if he
- 12:36Speaker 2: comes into the house and there's a decision to be made,
- 12:40Speaker 2: everything kind of bounce off of him to them. He
- 12:43Speaker 2: kind of runs the house. The wife. You know, this
- 12:46Speaker 2: also can oftentimes flow into the wife is like a homemaker,
- 12:51Speaker 2: which you know, goodness in my house. I'm glad that's
- 12:54Speaker 2: not the case. Just does great as an esthetician and
- 12:57Speaker 2: it has a thousand different kind of funnels and lanes
- 13:01Speaker 2: that it runs into. Once you start talking about like
- 13:06Speaker 2: a wife's submission. But I mean, I guess this most
- 13:09Speaker 2: simple term for those who have no clue what they're
- 13:11Speaker 2: talking about. It's not like she submits in the way
- 13:13Speaker 2: that like I think secular culture imagines it to be.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It just means that the husband is the head of
- 13:20Speaker 2: the household. He is the one that makes final decisions, say,
- 13:24Speaker 2: and when he speaks, everybody listens. Yeah, I mean, like
- 13:33Speaker 2: I said, everybody has their own dance, right, And if
- 13:36Speaker 2: this works for him them, if Mattie's like, hey, this
- 13:39Speaker 2: is actually like really good for us as a couple,
- 13:42Speaker 2: this makes me a better human. This makes me more
- 13:44Speaker 2: of a better version of myself, a more joy filled
- 13:48Speaker 2: version of myself. It gives me the freedom and all
- 13:51Speaker 2: these things have all these benefits. And that's why I said,
- 13:53Speaker 2: I wish there was like this longer explanation of what
- 13:56Speaker 2: exactly this means and why. I think the big question
- 13:59Speaker 2: there would be why do you actually see that submission
- 14:02Speaker 2: being helpful for you? Helpful for you? But if it is,
- 14:07Speaker 2: that's great.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, yeah, if you are happier and you
- 14:11Speaker 3: think that your household works with you, like, that's totally
- 14:15Speaker 3: She said it was a struggle at first, which makes
- 14:17Speaker 3: me a little.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I think that's where it gets a little weird for people, is.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Exactly right, because like, oh, so it's not natural to you,
- 14:22Speaker 3: So it's not what you wanted to do, so you
- 14:25Speaker 3: had to kind of submit to the fact that you
- 14:28Speaker 3: were going to do it. Yeah, and it felt unnatural
- 14:32Speaker 3: for a while, because maybe it is unnatural.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think again, there's some really great ways
- 14:38Speaker 2: to argue biblically about how the Bible isn't talking about
- 14:43Speaker 2: a wive submission to their husband. Now, there's some very
- 14:45Speaker 2: clear verses, but those same verses are kind of sandwiched
- 14:48Speaker 2: at times with conversations about slavery, and obviously the Christian
- 14:51Speaker 2: Church over time has gotten very much, has gone very
- 14:55Speaker 2: much against slavery, and so how could we not then
- 14:57Speaker 2: readjust to say maybe Christian submission as a wife isn't
- 15:01Speaker 2: you know, helpful? And then also there's verses like in Galatians,
- 15:04Speaker 2: there's a beautiful verse about talking about how we are
- 15:07Speaker 2: all one in Christ and versus about how we were
- 15:10Speaker 2: all equal in Christ and we're all image bearers of Christ.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And so I just think it gets messy. And that's
- 15:16Speaker 2: why I started this with saying I don't necessarily see
- 15:19Speaker 2: a problem with them running their household how they want
- 15:22Speaker 2: to run it. I have no ability to speak into that,
- 15:25Speaker 2: nor would I want to. It doesn't make sense to
- 15:27Speaker 2: I just think it gets a little bit murky if
- 15:32Speaker 2: we're trying to speak into people who are not believers
- 15:37Speaker 2: when we say things without context, and unfortunately, headlines don't
- 15:42Speaker 2: give context or explanation, especially on these really like difficult
- 15:49Speaker 2: topics that the Church in general has argued about internally
- 15:55Speaker 2: for thousands of years. And so that's just my point.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I think it definitely blew up in the headlines. It
- 16:04Speaker 2: definitely caused a stir and unfortunately for Maddie or fortunately
- 16:08Speaker 2: because people are listening and paying attention. This is just
- 16:11Speaker 2: like it seems like we're getting one of these like
- 16:13Speaker 2: once a month, right now.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I know, you know, I have to say, it's pretty
- 16:16Speaker 3: entertaining to me. Some people in the comments are like
- 16:21Speaker 3: people in the comments are like, oh my God, like
- 16:23Speaker 3: everything I know about them is against my will. And
- 16:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I find this all very interesting. It always
- 16:27Speaker 3: leads a good conversation with.
- 16:28Speaker 2: You, Ben, Yeah, I mean, I don't know. At some
- 16:32Speaker 2: point I think it does more harm than good.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Well, yeah, there's that you are correct. From your perspective. Yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 3: from a gospel perspective, yeah, yeah.
- 16:42Speaker 2: From a gospel perspective.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Gospel perspective versus gossip perspective. Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I just want people to experience the freedom and the
- 16:52Speaker 2: joy and the love of Jesus and to see that
- 16:58Speaker 2: in who Jesus was on this earth, to see this
- 17:01Speaker 2: that and who he was in the Christian story of
- 17:04Speaker 2: where he died for us. And I think in between
- 17:10Speaker 2: there we can really start to jack things up when
- 17:13Speaker 2: we add confusion to the story.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Ben, I am just so excited for your podcast. I
- 17:22Speaker 3: every time I hear you talk about this stuff and
- 17:24Speaker 3: like makes sense, makes sense, yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Anyways, Uh, Bachelor's Crystal Nielsen says she's been advised not
- 17:42Speaker 2: to have more kids after harrowing C section.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Ben, did you read this?
- 17:48Speaker 2: I have not, no, but I really am interested in
- 17:50Speaker 2: the updates.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Oh my god, Ben, like I had like I felt weak,
- 17:54Speaker 3: like I felt lightheaded almost reading this. She is truly
- 17:59Speaker 3: a warrior. And like they said, if she wasn't at
- 18:02Speaker 3: the hospital like she or the baby would have died.
- 18:04Speaker 3: So what happened was she was induced. Everything was going
- 18:09Speaker 3: pretty slowly and then finally I don't know what it was,
- 18:14Speaker 3: whether they put up more pitocin or whatnot, but oh,
- 18:16Speaker 3: they they gave her the epidural so that they could
- 18:19Speaker 3: break her water, because you don't want to break your
- 18:21Speaker 3: water without having apol. So they go and break the
- 18:23Speaker 3: up durals. They start moving and then she's pushing and
- 18:28Speaker 3: it's been three and a half hours, and uh, then
- 18:32Speaker 3: the doctor comes in to check her, which I'm very
- 18:37Speaker 3: I don't remember for my own berths whether or not
- 18:39Speaker 3: you ever would get checked within like during the pushing phase. Yes,
- 18:45Speaker 3: I mean that seems normal, but I I am now
- 18:48Speaker 3: speaking out of term. I really don't know because normally
- 18:51Speaker 3: they check your cervix before you start pushing, and then
- 18:54Speaker 3: like once they see your ten centimeters, then you start pushing.
- 18:56Speaker 3: So anyway, she was with her midwife for the majority
- 18:59Speaker 3: of this pushing experience. After three and a half hours,
- 19:02Speaker 3: the doctor comes in and goes, uh, yeah, we are
- 19:05Speaker 3: going to We're we're bringing you into the o R
- 19:08Speaker 3: right now. You are. She started bleeding, like she started
- 19:13Speaker 3: like gushing blood, and that was because the baby's arm
- 19:18Speaker 3: like ruptured her uterus, so her uterus is broken inside her.
- 19:26Speaker 3: They get her to the OAR and then they just
- 19:28Speaker 3: without you know, being under or anything, and I'm hoping
- 19:32Speaker 3: the epidera was still working, but there was something dramatic
- 19:36Speaker 3: about that too. They basically just had to like man
- 19:39Speaker 3: handle the baby out of through the c section because
- 19:45Speaker 3: the baby was stuck like in her there was like
- 19:49Speaker 3: an arm stuck in the uterus, so they had like
- 19:52Speaker 3: pulled the baby out with it being like kind of
- 19:56Speaker 3: in intertwined with her uterus. Oh my God, like so traumatic. Obviously,
- 20:05Speaker 3: just thank god that they're both here in both Okay.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Another thing that was super scary about it all was
- 20:13Speaker 3: that they he had a good amount of time without
- 20:15Speaker 3: having good oxygen flow. So they were worried that there
- 20:19Speaker 3: was brain damage, but so far everything looks good in
- 20:22Speaker 3: that department, thank god. So then they had to put
- 20:28Speaker 3: him into a therapeutic hypothermia to protect his brain post
- 20:34Speaker 3: birth for seventy two hours. He had they set his
- 20:38Speaker 3: body temperature at ninety two point three degrees and she
- 20:41Speaker 3: didn't meet her son until he was two days old.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Got to hold him on day four, once he was
- 20:47Speaker 3: rewarmed and cleared of caesars and brain damage. Like, can
- 20:53Speaker 3: you even imagine? No, the amount of time that then
- 20:59Speaker 3: having to worry that he had brain damage is like
- 21:01Speaker 3: the worst part for me too.
- 21:03Speaker 2: There's just so much here. I mean, that is such
- 21:06Speaker 2: a for some it's such a magical couple days and
- 21:12Speaker 2: then you get like this new perspective I guess I
- 21:16Speaker 2: think that's happening to me, where I'm like, Okay, you
- 21:19Speaker 2: can't help, but put yourself in that scenario.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Exactly. It's so much different having a parent, being a
- 21:25Speaker 3: parent and then hearing of the trauma on birth.
- 21:29Speaker 2: No wonder. I mean, they should have, they needed to.
- 21:31Speaker 2: They took time before this came out. But we're with you,
- 21:35Speaker 2: we're thinking about you. In fact, I just did a
- 21:36Speaker 2: City cruise in San Diego. Yeah, two days ago with
- 21:40Speaker 2: Wells and Chris, and somebody asked me about Crystal and
- 21:42Speaker 2: updates on her during the question and answer, and honestly,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I didn't have one. I didn't know at the time,
- 21:47Speaker 2: and so I'm glad we're getting those updates out there.
- 21:50Speaker 3: So and then to answer, like the headline of it all,
- 21:54Speaker 3: they were able to miraculously repair her uterus. She went
- 22:00Speaker 3: under immediately after the C section, and even though it's repaired,
- 22:07Speaker 3: they say that it's best that she doesn't carry another
- 22:09Speaker 3: child because you know, it could very easily burst again
- 22:15Speaker 3: now if they want to look into service, and I'm
- 22:18Speaker 3: sure that that could be an option, but good luck
- 22:21Speaker 3: to you know. We're just so happy that they're home
- 22:23Speaker 3: and happy and healthy and safe.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Now. Yeah, I mean this is it hits home too,
- 22:28Speaker 2: because this is one of the it's not exactly the same,
- 22:30Speaker 2: but it's not too far off of why I'm an
- 22:32Speaker 2: only child, and so my mom kind of went through
- 22:37Speaker 2: some of these not quite the exact same, but not
- 22:40Speaker 2: too far off scenarios.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And complications when you were when you were born.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Oh huge, Yeah, you've never heard this. Actually, Just side note,
- 22:49Speaker 2: my dad had cancer. I knew that Hoskin's lymphoma, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: my mom was bedridden and they were side by side
- 22:56Speaker 2: in the hospital for like, I mean it was weeks
- 22:59Speaker 2: like eight weeks or.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Something when you were born. She was yeah, wait before
- 23:05Speaker 3: she was born. We'll have to talk about this another time.
- 23:07Speaker 3: For sure, it's crazy because I knew about your dad.
- 23:10Speaker 3: I thought that was the reason that they only had
- 23:11Speaker 3: to know.
- 23:12Speaker 2: There was a lot that went on in that. But yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 2: I mean, here's a cool part is it sounds like
- 23:18Speaker 2: everybody is happy and healthy and back home, and we
- 23:20Speaker 2: got to celebrate that for them and wish nothing but
- 23:25Speaker 2: you know, upward health and peace as as time continues.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Another story about babies. We covered this story a few
- 23:38Speaker 2: years ago, and yet he decided to do it again.
- 23:41Speaker 2: What a Sickoh honestly, Bachelor's Ari Lyondyke Junior makes another
- 23:49Speaker 2: vasectomy appointment after baby number four, because hey, if you
- 23:53Speaker 2: get one vasectomy, why not get to so funny?
- 23:57Speaker 3: So he does make an amazing instant reel. It's a
- 24:01Speaker 3: video of him to Adell being a ClOH you know, uh,
- 24:06Speaker 3: what's whatever of the song goes it's me and then
- 24:10Speaker 3: he goes I'd like to get another vasectomy. This is
- 24:13Speaker 3: you know, like the overlay snip snip snip, and uh
- 24:17Speaker 3: so funny. Basically Ari, you know, after the three kids,
- 24:22Speaker 3: he decided to get the vasectomy. Last year September, we
- 24:26Speaker 3: were at a Lawn's wedding and he was all telling
- 24:29Speaker 3: us how they had reversed the vasectomy, how it's like
- 24:31Speaker 3: a four hour long surgery, and well, this is they
- 24:36Speaker 3: reversed it successfully, obviously, And now this is his third time,
- 24:40Speaker 3: you know, because he called to get it and then
- 24:43Speaker 3: reverse it. Now he's going again to get it again.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Goodness, gracious, those two they can just put I mean
- 24:49Speaker 2: good things. He's getting it because it feels like they
- 24:51Speaker 2: could just pump out as many babies as they want
- 24:53Speaker 2: to have, Like every time they pump and thrust, she's
- 24:55Speaker 2: getting pregnant. That's wild.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they seem like they have to have it.
- 25:01Speaker 3: There of execto me a necessary family.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It's necessary. Did you get one?
- 25:07Speaker 3: Well, Dawson took seven years to seven years, seven years,
- 25:11Speaker 3: seven months to conceive and Hayden took two. And technically
- 25:17Speaker 3: I like egg met sperm on try number one because
- 25:20Speaker 3: I had the chemical pregnancy for month one, so, I mean,
- 25:24Speaker 3: his record is pretty good, but he is going to
- 25:27Speaker 3: get a visit. We have we been thinking about it. Yes,
- 25:29Speaker 3: We've definitely been thinking about it because I want to
- 25:31Speaker 3: get off birth control. I feel like I get so
- 25:33Speaker 3: many headaches with it. I've been on it for so
- 25:35Speaker 3: long you're like not really supposed to be on it,
- 25:37Speaker 3: like in your upper thirties and such. So yeah, it's
- 25:42Speaker 3: definitely a thought. It does feel like that weird finale feeling.
- 25:46Speaker 3: And I was just like a month or so ago.
- 25:49Speaker 3: It's like, it's not a big deal. Like if I
- 25:50Speaker 3: were like forty and we decided to do something like
- 25:54Speaker 3: I've yeah, like I think that's the way we would
- 25:56Speaker 3: go with it. Anyway. I would be like, well, just
- 25:59Speaker 3: pull your spur out of your balls and we'll do
- 26:02Speaker 3: it a Pieture dish. It'll be fine. It's that a
- 26:03Speaker 3: big deal or like I UI or whatnot. And then
- 26:08Speaker 3: I was recently told that you definitely do not want
- 26:11Speaker 3: to pull the sperm out of the balls like that,
- 26:12Speaker 3: because apparently it's way more painful than even reversing the vasectomy.
- 26:19Speaker 3: So anyway, then we do have to wrap this. I've got, yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 3: some wifely duties to attend to wink wink.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I love.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I don't know exactly that was like a that was
- 26:35Speaker 3: like supposed to be like an all encompassing moment, like
- 26:38Speaker 3: taking a headline, taking the fact that the housewives.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Now I thought he was snapping at you, like come
- 26:43Speaker 2: back here, baby. The final headline is this is just
- 26:47Speaker 2: a congratulations to Trista and Ryan said her on twenty
- 26:50Speaker 2: two years of marriage. Absolutely wild, massive, massive deal. Hey,
