- 0:01Hello and welcome to another episode of the Christian re
- 0:05podcast, but it's not just any episode.
- 0:08Today is the 50th episode of the podcast.
- 0:12I have mr. Dutch deals with me today.
- 0:17Yeah, I'm a bad man. How are you?
- 0:19I'm great. Yeah, we've got a whole full
- 0:22show planned out here. We've actually sat down and,
- 0:25like plan this out, which I mean, I always do that anyway.
- 0:28But you know, I am anticipating a quick run-through.
- 0:32Yeah, I anticipate this is going to be like a bumper episode.
- 0:35I even thought about the fact that it could actually be a lot
- 0:38to par but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
- 0:41Let's see what happens. But for today's show and I think
- 0:44moving forward, Dutch deals will be responsible for at least
- 0:48leading his episodes. That's the way I see it.
- 0:52So yeah, without further adieu Take us through the episode,
- 0:57mammals or something. Well, would you like a quick run
- 1:01through of everything we're doing today?
- 1:03Or would you like to keep it sort of stoom?
- 1:06Keep it chill like a keep it, you're done.
- 1:08Okay? So once you take the lead and
- 1:12I'll sit back and do nothing. Okay, makes up for the other
- 1:18episodes. I yeah, no.
- 1:20Okay, so segment one, I've got here is ask Chris.
- 1:25And we are back doing another ask Christian.
- 1:29So yeah. Okay without further Ado, I just
- 1:33do want to interject real quick go.
- 1:35This is going to be the final ask Christian for the
- 1:39foreseeable future. I believe it's the third, ask
- 1:44Christian that we've done for the podcast.
- 1:46Obviously, I've done various iterations of this for Instagram
- 1:50and YouTube just in general and like to be fair.
- 1:56Those have had like relative, I guess you could call it success
- 1:59in some ways. But for this particular segment
- 2:03for this podcast, we haven't really had any success,
- 2:06unfortunately, because the whole idea, the whole Vision I had for
- 2:14it is for you know, us to send out questions to the audience
- 2:18and the audience gets back to us and asks genuine questions that
- 2:21they want to know about myself Dutch or the podcast in general.
- 2:25We did that this week. I went on a social media.
- 2:28Tirade trying to promote the hell out of it, didn't receive
- 2:32anything back at all. Not one message with the
- 2:38exception, I did actually receive hate, I would call it a
- 2:42hate comment, but let me explain.
- 2:44So I have two discords, one for myself and one for the podcast.
- 2:49And when I messaged the whole Discord with luck a everyone,
- 2:54which I don't normally do, but like for this I did because it's
- 2:57a special occasion. I receipt, it was basically 10
- 3:00questions that I had written down and planned out with
- 3:04thoughts behind, you know, Well, people like dislike, you know,
- 3:08that kind of thing. And this base this person
- 3:11basically just You know, every answer was like f you hated it,
- 3:17this that and the other and for me that was kind of like the
- 3:21final straw as find this. Like you know, we didn't receive
- 3:25any messages, we didn't receive any kind of Response other than
- 3:33this. So I think it's about time that
- 3:35we kind of just draw a line under this and, you know, in the
- 3:38future. If people, if we receive
- 3:40questions, if we, you know, if I see that that's happening in the
- 3:43comments, or if I get messaged, or if you get messaged or you
- 3:47know, whatever, then certainly will do that.
- 3:51For my Instagram, the ends are literally always open.
- 3:55They won't use them for memes at the moment.
- 3:57So, yeah, and I will say, as well actually, Because we're
- 4:01going to do a segment for you today.
- 4:03Ask deals, which is the first time we've ever done this fine.
- 4:07We'll talk about it look like, but it's the same thing.
- 4:11Like I want that to be like, you know, if you don't care about me
- 4:14but you do care about deals and you want to hear about deals,
- 4:16then by all means, send the questions into him or send them
- 4:19to me and we can do future segments of that too.
- 4:23But for, as far as I'm concerned, there's no point sort
- 4:25of doing them past this point because there isn't any Actual
- 4:30interaction between us and the audience.
- 4:33So I don't want to sound like a sad thing.
- 4:36I think I'm just trying to be a bit more like reasonable with
- 4:38this and you know, maybe in the future.
- 4:42You know. It will be a thing that people
- 4:44want but right now there doesn't seem to be a lot of that.
- 4:47What I will say though, on a positive note, kind of give it a
- 4:50spin, is that there does seem to be a little bit more viewership
- 4:55as far as YouTube and on all of the audio platforms is
- 4:59concerned. So, I do want to say like a big
- 5:02thank you to everyone that is watching and enjoying it.
- 5:05I really hope that you are. Thank you so much for watching
- 5:09or listening I would say is always a lot of yeah it really
- 5:13does and you know it motivates me to keep doing this to keep
- 5:16finding interviews. Obviously me and Dutch have got
- 5:19stuff planned for the future so you know I would say like please
- 5:25be vocal like let us know what you want to do.
- 5:27We'll try our best to kind of incorporate whatever you want.
- 5:30Whatever you want but yeah please let us know.
- 5:33And also don't be afraid to tell us what you don't like as well
- 5:36because I appreciate constructive criticism.
- 5:39He's maybe even don't like like I don't know, the kitchen yeah.
- 5:45Paint your kitchen, change your kitchen.
- 5:46We don't like to anything in the kitchen.
- 5:49Turn it upside down, but it put a fridge behind me.
- 5:52I don't know. I'm always man.
- 5:55That would be so sick if we had a segment where it was just like
- 5:58drinking coffee, mid mid, We could have a future segment
- 6:01where like like people get to just vote in what they want you
- 6:05to change about your house and you have to do.
- 6:08So again 100 likes and you I don't know paint your kitchen
- 6:10pink or something, the kitchen pink. 1,000 like something, pick
- 6:18the pink to know what's wrong with pink only thing worse than
- 6:22pink would be yellow. Like looking at everything in
- 6:26the house and then pinning it like a bright yellow.
- 6:28It's, you know, I gotta say sometimes when I see someone
- 6:31drive past with like an orange car or something, I do wonder if
- 6:34they're a psychopath. I mean, like, why would you
- 6:37purposefully? That's what kind of car really?
- 6:39If it's just like your everyday card then no, but if it's like
- 6:42an exotic kind of car than any oranges.
- 6:45Still. Oh, I've got a Lamborghini.
- 6:47You know what I want that in Orange.
- 6:51What's me? What's wrong?
- 6:52With an orange Lamborghini? I don't know, man, blue Cadillac
- 6:58Reds. It depends what kind.
- 7:01I mean, the classic Lamborghini color is a yellow or like a
- 7:04bright green. Yeah, I mean, don't get me
- 7:06wrong. I have seen them in Orange.
- 7:07I know they're very like regular and stuff and it's quite common
- 7:11but I just don't get that color on cars whenever I see yellow.
- 7:15Pink, or orange cars. It's a very kind of strange
- 7:19thing and you do sort of stare at the car, especially pink cars
- 7:23and you're like on a pink. No, that doesn't go with any
- 7:25kind of car, unless it's a thick massive Homer or something.
- 7:31That's why. I mean, I think it's fine if you
- 7:37run like a nail business, you know, and you know you want to
- 7:40draw attention to yourself then. Well done.
- 7:44Fantastic. Exactly what you're doing there
- 7:46and it works looking at the car, not the actual advertisement.
- 7:50Well, you say that, but I mean, if you're drawn to the color
- 7:54which we are as humans, you know, that's a very well-known
- 7:56thing that colors invoke certain emotions and feelings from us
- 8:01and pink. You know you do stop and stare
- 8:03and inevitably you're probably going to look at what the
- 8:05writing says. And you might remember that and
- 8:07especially if you know if you're a lady and you like to get your
- 8:09nails done off, then you might that might be the first thing
- 8:13that you think of next time you get the your nails Do you think
- 8:16I should open our cargo, like, pink and put the Christian roof
- 8:20podcast inside? Sure why not.
- 8:24No Bessie would not appreciate that.
- 8:27I'm just saying, who's Bessie the car?
- 8:30The car you've named your car version?
- 8:33I've named my car. Yes, Bessie.
- 8:35You say, okay, let's, let's reiterate this or let's go back.
- 8:38You don't own a car, not ashamed.
- 8:40But when you're showing you, when you are, when you own a
- 8:42car, you're going to paint it pink and you can kind of tell
- 8:45you going. It Bessie.
- 8:46No, the car that's sitting out there will eventually be mine
- 8:49and it's called Bessie. So this is just some random car
- 8:54no, it's been in the family since 1998.
- 8:57How is this your dad's car then Well, I got passed down.
- 9:02It's a family heirloom. Okay.
- 9:04It is a family heirloom, actually, you joke about it, but
- 9:07not for a fine. Sorry touched a nerve because
- 9:14this just because you did touch enough.
- 9:18What yourself? Maybe.
- 9:19Sorry. I didn't.
- 9:20I didn't mean to insult Bessie. Is it when you say it like that,
- 9:27you've just done it again. You apologize for insulting
- 9:33besties and then you said it again, I did and I'd do it
- 9:37again. Moving swiftly on, okay,
- 9:43actually, before we go on with ask Christian, I do want to
- 9:46mention this real quick so I fight and by the word.
- 9:50So this podcast will drop after this is actually appeared.
- 9:55So we can talk about this. I finally got round to uploading
- 10:00putting together and uploading the chase.
- 10:05You've actually just shot me in the foot because that was going
- 10:08to be one of the questions that I asked.
- 10:10That's fine. Let's, let's talk about it now.
- 10:12So I was going to say and okay. So can I ask the question and
- 10:15then we talked about it early fine.
- 10:17So, mr. Reeve, have you got any special
- 10:20projects that are ongoing. What's not ongoing?
- 10:24Is it done? Yeah, but I mean, it was at the,
- 10:28I mean, at the time it's kind of ongoing.
- 10:30But nah, it took me like Probably an hour if that I was
- 10:37trying to build up suspense with that question.
- 10:43Let's let's let's Circle back to that question because I do
- 10:45actually have some stuff to talk about other stuff.
- 10:48So ask me that again later. But for now, let's lie.
- 10:51Yeah, let's just talk about the chase.
- 10:54So the chase is something that me and Deals worked on this
- 11:01summer. Yeah.
- 11:02A long time ago and we just shot it on camera phones and I don't
- 11:08even know if I had anything particularly planned for.
- 11:11Remember me, and you talking for a while, about doing some sort
- 11:15of acting piece together and we were talking about like how it
- 11:19would be possible to do it and the ideas that we had both for
- 11:24if we met in person and also just, you know, online presume,
- 11:28I don't know whatever, right? And we never like sat down and
- 11:33came up with a concrete idea, but we did actually discuss this
- 11:37idea of like in the forest. Because it's like a mutual
- 11:42setting. We build forests nearby and I
- 11:46believe because you were still in England when you filmed that
- 11:50right? Or you're in Amsterdam or
- 11:52Holland by that point, sir. Oh, I filmed it here, I said,
- 11:57okay, so you're in Holland cool. Alright, so yeah, so that was my
- 12:02parts were filmed in Manchester in a local Forest, the area near
- 12:07to me and Salford. News were filmed in Holland.
- 12:10And then obviously, we put that together and, you know, the
- 12:14funny thing about it was that when you originally sent it to
- 12:16me, I was kind of demotivated because it seemed like it wasn't
- 12:20in order, but that was actually easily rectified when, when I
- 12:25finally did go to Ed are, but I'll get to that.
- 12:29So, basically originally, when you send it to me, it seemed
- 12:32like it was out of order, like, disorganized kind of thing,
- 12:36which wasn't your fault, it's just sometimes these things
- 12:38happen. Yeah, set them or to accept them
- 12:40to upload in a good unlike the right order.
- 12:44So yeah, pressed on all of the right files in the right order,
- 12:47but then it uploaded the shorter ones and then the longer ones.
- 12:51And then it was like the so he's and the fourth, and the seventh.
- 12:55Yeah, here's the deal. Like when I first looked at it,
- 12:59it seemed like it was disorganized and I realized like
- 13:01the magnitude of how long it would take to edit and stuff,
- 13:05and I always intended to do it. That was always the plan.
- 13:08But I just didn't want to do it straight away and then it sort
- 13:11of sat on my list of like to do because I have this to do this.
- 13:14That I've mentioned before. Where, you know, I think it's
- 13:17got like Story Time ideas future video ideas that I'll do one
- 13:22like a rainy day when I feel like I've not got anything to
- 13:25kind of talk about or whatever or do, which seems like an odd
- 13:29concept because I feel like there's always something like
- 13:32I'm always having some ideas or something, but like I'm sure
- 13:35they'll be a point where, like, you know, Maybe I don't have as
- 13:39many ideas or I just feel like I should do them, but whatever it
- 13:42was sitting on that list for a while and I always intended to
- 13:46get around to and then it became a bit of a joke between us like,
- 13:48oh, yeah. This thing, you know, and then
- 13:51I, it was weird. Like I just, honestly, I just
- 13:54kept forgetting about it, even though I had it written down, I
- 13:57just kept forgetting about it. And I've been crazy busy,
- 14:00especially lately. And then I just, I sort of sat
- 14:05down at my computer, like yesterday, or whatever it was.
- 14:07And I was like, Hey, let's do the chase.
- 14:11Let's do it now. And then I sat down, I started
- 14:14working on it and then when it came to the organization at the
- 14:16files, I then realized that they actually were in order yours
- 14:22specifically and so were mine. And so, all I had to do was just
- 14:27put the one after the other the other and I clipped, I deleted a
- 14:31couple of clips from mine. Annuals trims a bit here and
- 14:35there and put it together and it worked perfectly better than I
- 14:38could have imagined. And I feel that with the
- 14:40soundtrack Yeah. Actually sounds really sick.
- 14:45I know you haven't seen it yet. Like you will see it.
- 14:48Itching. I'm itching to sir.
- 14:50I think you'll enjoy it. I enjoy it.
- 14:52But what I will say is now that this has come out afterwards, I
- 14:54can say what I think I actually feel because what the first
- 14:58thing that I put up was the It's not a trailer.
- 15:02It's like a little mini teaser teaser.
- 15:05Yeah. And it just says my name, your
- 15:06name and then the name of the thing and I was really proud of
- 15:12that but the that comes right at the end of it.
- 15:17And I feel like that was actually the best part about,
- 15:21who's the ending some limits? I really did my best like that I
- 15:27could do with the whole thing. Putting it together.
- 15:28I still think it's good for out, you know.
- 15:31I don't profess to be like a great movie maker or editor or
- 15:35anything like that. On a scale of one to ten.
- 15:38What would you rate it? Hmm, if you have to sum it up,
- 15:43it depends because I thought there's different ways.
- 15:46I could I could raid it if we're talking quality.
- 15:53I will put it at like a five or six.
- 15:58Maybe a five-member, we were working with what we had.
- 16:01Yeah. And this is what I mean, I'm
- 16:02trying to be fair and reasonable.
- 16:04I like I know it would be 10 times better if we had the
- 16:07actual equipment but I'm just being fair.
- 16:09Like, if we're talking just quality of what we're working
- 16:12with five or six, which I still think is generous if we're
- 16:17talking like the quality of the content itself.
- 16:26It was hard to judge my own stuff.
- 16:28Do you know what I mean? But like, I would put it at a
- 16:31six or a seven ish. I'm very proud of it.
- 16:36It's called, it's honestly come out a lot better than better
- 16:39than I thought it would. I was really impressed with your
- 16:42acting. By the way, I actually feel that
- 16:46you're acting in many places was better than mine.
- 16:50I felt like mine was just It's basically just my character from
- 16:56the coin. Flip of a coin.
- 16:58Yeah. Looser, which I didn't realize
- 17:00until afterwards, like I didn't think of that character at all.
- 17:04I guess, you know, it could be that character.
- 17:07It could not be, doesn't mean it's not really, you know, the
- 17:09the only idea I had as far as like, the idea of the character
- 17:12was that this is like a bit of a psychopath chasing someone.
- 17:15That's all I thought about. And that voice just came to mind
- 17:18straight away, but you're in Reputations or your reactions
- 17:24were just really good. Very good.
- 17:28I know this will sound weird but very good like breathing in
- 17:30certain parts. I know how that sounds but like,
- 17:35given that it's a chase scene and that it's like reactions and
- 17:39stuff, and the fact that, you know, you're reacting to no one,
- 17:42there's no one actually there. I thought it was very
- 17:44impressive. They actually I actually run
- 17:48like, yeah, I know, I know it was very good.
- 17:52And I like the ending as well, you know, obviously, I didn't
- 17:55give you anything to work with at all.
- 17:57Only the clips that I sent you. There was no information, which
- 18:00makes it even more impressive, because for those who don't
- 18:03know, every acting piece that I do that.
- 18:06I produce never has a script. It's all unproduced.
- 18:11It's all I call it the wrestling style.
- 18:14So when professional wrestlers like really successful ones,
- 18:19like some of the best like, the raw core like, CM Punk or people
- 18:23like that famously, they use bullet points in their promos
- 18:28where they basically essentially ad-lib the whole thing, but they
- 18:32know where they're going with it, you know?
- 18:34And if they get lost within it, they can always fear it back.
- 18:36You know what I mean? Like there will there will
- 18:39eventually be an endpoint and a certain person will win What the
- 18:44promo you mean? No, no.
- 18:46I mean just like with the bullet points like do they do they know
- 18:49who's going to win? They do they know what was
- 18:52exactly going to happen or I mean I don't watch wrestling.
- 18:56I've Just Seen clips of it but I mean both performers like doing
- 19:00the promo will obviously know what's supposed to happen.
- 19:03Yeah. Usually if so they're like
- 19:08raped. So the what I mean, it depends
- 19:12because some can't like companies like WWE like these
- 19:14days. They script everything.
- 19:16They know exactly what's going to be said which sucks.
- 19:19It's just a shitty way to do promos, but other companies iwm
- 19:24LW New Japan by blah, blah, they ad lib or don't have a script
- 19:29tool, but they all have this kind of like a to zed like,
- 19:32okay, we need to cover like these things.
- 19:34You need to mention this thing, this thing, this thing.
- 19:36But how you get there is up to you what you say the verbiage
- 19:39you use. That's all up to you.
- 19:41That's generally how a wrestling promoter works but yeah, more
- 19:44natural. Yeah, what's up.
- 19:46Of the absolute best promos of all time, both old and current
- 19:50day have been completely ad-libs and it's a better way because
- 19:54it's more natural, I feel and that's why I do mine the way
- 19:57that I do them because I feel like sometimes it's better to
- 20:02let whatever comes naturally come naturally.
- 20:04And obviously if the clip is just not good, then I'll just
- 20:07film it again and see what happens.
- 20:09But I always know like the purpose of what I'm trying to do
- 20:14with it. Yeah.
- 20:18Anyway, be any thoughts on this on the chase?
- 20:23I know obviously you've only seen the, but when you've seen,
- 20:27you've seen some of the clips, I mean, you, I mean, you kind of
- 20:29know what something I've seen your Clips, obviously, because
- 20:32that's what I was going off of. Okay.
- 20:34Yeah. I don't know what my Clips are.
- 20:36I'm just really intrigued to see how its put together.
- 20:39I mean, it's basically just I've put it all together.
- 20:41Put some suspenseful music under it.
- 20:44I know I'm really under selling it, but that is really
- 20:46essential. I've done and it's a testament
- 20:48to the fact that music really does just have just yeah it
- 20:54gives it an atmosphere. Like for example, I don't know
- 20:56if you noticed but I'm pretty sure no one else did I
- 21:00re-uploaded season 1 or flip of a coin with music and I took
- 21:04down the original videos that had no music because I wanted it
- 21:07to be more in line with the original video that season 2 and
- 21:13season 3. I wanted it to be in line with
- 21:14that. So I basically just did a George
- 21:17Lucas and went back and but I didn't ruin anything.
- 21:20Like, I basically added in the intro and the outro and I added
- 21:25music to every segment, but I didn't change anything.
- 21:27I didn't really film anything. I only added music and it helps
- 21:32like it's actually made certain scenes, much better.
- 21:35And I actually feel that season one was always the weak point.
- 21:40But now it's got to a point where it's like consistent with
- 21:43the others and my vision has been for Seasons.
- 21:47I kind of have its own appeal obviously, but like each of them
- 21:53tells a part of the story and There they all, they're all
- 21:59equal footing now. I believe like they weren't
- 22:02before but I feel that now. They are ya.
- 22:08Did you ever did you watch all of them or any other stuff
- 22:12curiosity, in some episodes when they've been uploaded?
- 22:16But I think I've got a no no you're really selling this to
- 22:20me. I've got to I've got to watch
- 22:21it. My own co-host, hasn't checked
- 22:23out I'm devastated. No, that's not what I said I
- 22:27have. Acted out, just haven't sat down
- 22:30and binged it. Yeah.
- 22:32I mean, there is quite a lot now.
- 22:34Actually, it's definitely too because the holidays are coming
- 22:37up after next week, I've got two weeks free time.
- 22:41I hate to be on the negative wave, but like, I really put
- 22:44like so much effort into season 3, like but I put a lot of
- 22:49effort into season two, but I put so much effort into season 3
- 22:53and I put the hot. Hear me out.
- 22:55Hear me out. It's this isn't about you.
- 22:57You. This is just in general, okay,
- 22:59this isn't about you, it's about me.
- 23:04It's all me. It's always been me.
- 23:09I mean, I put a lot of effort into and this isn't supposed to
- 23:12be like a sob story. It's just the fact that like,
- 23:15it's really sucks when you put your like, your life and soul
- 23:17into something and it just doesn't do well.
- 23:20And that seems to be the story of a lot of the stuff that I'm
- 23:23doing now, but I'm just kind of rolling with it.
- 23:25I'm just doing Enjoy what I love.
- 23:28And I'm just trying to focus on that.
- 23:29But every once in a while, it will suck like in line with the
- 23:34same as what happened with the promo, for this episode, it was
- 23:39the same with season three. Like I did premieres for every
- 23:45single episode and no one turned up for any of them with the
- 23:50exception of the first one, which still Z who's a friend,
- 23:53you know, still Z he's been on the show before is a Good
- 23:57friend, he's donated money to me before.
- 24:00Like he's absolute Legend. Cannot say enough good things
- 24:03about still Z, go check out his twitch.
- 24:05Go follow him, subscribe to him. Still he is awesome.
- 24:10Anyway, the scriptural linking dizi web I'll probably forget
- 24:13but here's the plug. You know what I'm gonna do is
- 24:17I'm going to I'm going to send you a reminder description,
- 24:22fine. I'll put the link in the
- 24:23description link and the Rip never anyone says that always
- 24:29just think of KSI like back in the day when he was like good
- 24:32the description I'm gonna just go be.
- 24:34I can see the message. I'm not blind Jesus anyway,
- 24:38where was I? So yeah, I basically Recorded a
- 24:45trailer for it like I did for the second season premieres up
- 24:49for every episode really went over and beyond for the promo of
- 24:56it and not one person showed up. I was just like cheese man.
- 25:01I remember just remember just sitting and watching the
- 25:03episodes in like watching the premier's and eating and stuff
- 25:06and I enjoyed them and I was just like I kind of feel like
- 25:12objectively, like, they're good June.
- 25:14And I mean, like, this is enjoyable content and I'm
- 25:16surprised like no one kind of checked it out.
- 25:19No one said anything because I remember getting some might
- 25:22positive feedback in the beginning.
- 25:24Like people actually, there was one guy in particular that
- 25:26actually was watching it and like, even devised like theories
- 25:31and stuff. And I thought, oh, this is so
- 25:32cool and then it just ended and so that was a really
- 25:36disheartening and I don't know, there's just been a Of
- 25:40disheartening stuff lately. Just got a, not let it really
- 25:43getting you. I mean, yeah, but do you like
- 25:47Channel every now and again but I've got like some free time and
- 25:50I've noticed it like some videos of shot way up but so do do do
- 25:55differently like this anyway. I am grateful like don't get me
- 25:58wrong like, oh no, I'm not saying that.
- 25:59I'm just saying. Sometimes the it seemed
- 26:02impossible. Think the thing is I kind of
- 26:05I'll be honest like that. Hearing that is BS.
- 26:08It's impossible. To not take it to heart a little
- 26:11bit like, well, I don't I don't, the thing is, I don't sit
- 26:14thinking about this all the time, do you know what I mean?
- 26:17Like, most of the time, I don't care.
- 26:19I get on with my life, I do what I need to do, blah, blah, blah,
- 26:23right. But that 5% of the time, I do
- 26:26sit, and kind of feel like I wish that I'd done something,
- 26:29you've got to, you have to, you have to sometimes sit and think
- 26:32about it. But yeah.
- 26:33And that's that's more what? I'm not letting it get to you
- 26:36too much, it's the key. All right.
- 26:40I don't think I do like, I've, you know, I'm the type of person
- 26:42that I'm always honest with how I feel.
- 26:45Do you know what I mean? Like, if I, if I'm happy about
- 26:48something, I'll say, hey, great this went really well or if I'm
- 26:51sad about something up here that are they sucked blah, blah, blah
- 26:54Did. I mean, like, I don't, I don't
- 26:57try to be paint. Everything is perfect or like
- 27:00everything is excellent. You know, then you've got it on
- 27:03your sort of perfect. You've got your attitude sort
- 27:06of, I think so. I mean, Jill.
- 27:08And I mean like a I think you should always be polite in a
- 27:12way. I kind of like the fact that I
- 27:14do kind of feel like that about my work because at least means
- 27:18that I care about what I'm doing and I'm not just doing it like
- 27:20to get views or some shit, you know?
- 27:22I mean, but I think I think I just think about like how much I
- 27:27put into certain things and when it doesn't get any attention or
- 27:31at all, it's a bit like because I always say this, right?
- 27:37Good and bad feedback or viewership or whatever is always
- 27:42positive right back. Apathy is the absolute worst
- 27:46thing ever. When just no one cares, that's
- 27:49the worst thing. Like even even when I get
- 27:52negative comments. Now like I always just first of
- 27:56all I laugh and then secondly I'm like cool.
- 27:59Someone cared enough to tell me that I suck or they hated this.
- 28:03That's good. Yeah, so they're basically
- 28:05accomplish in the opposite of what they want to do.
- 28:08Maybe I mean people have dated but if they type a comment and
- 28:13go this video sucked, no one will ever pay attention to it.
- 28:17While I mean you did enough to Common.
- 28:19Yeah, and that's the thing. Like I I take negative criticism
- 28:23differently because like, for example, criticism at all, if
- 28:28it's just where is criticism, is because there's a difference,
- 28:32don't forget this criticism and then there's all destructive
- 28:34criticism but that's just that's just plain Chris's.
- 28:39Yeah, you've got that doesn't help you at all.
- 28:41Yeah, I know. I'm not disagreeing with you but
- 28:44your attitude towards it can because you say oh it doesn't,
- 28:48it doesn't help me at all. It doesn't, it doesn't help me
- 28:50at all. And I disagree with that, I just
- 28:53sort of comments like that way. If someone look people leave me
- 28:56- comments all the time and you know often it's just like not
- 29:01quit constructive, it'll be something like our this sucked.
- 29:04Why would anyone want to watch this?
- 29:06This is trash blah blah blah, right?
- 29:08and, Yeah, when I was young person like a teenager like
- 29:14stuff wouldn't like that would get to me.
- 29:15Whereas now I go back to what I said before, you know, I take it
- 29:19as like this person has taken time out of their day to say, I
- 29:23hate this. I just like this, this bothered
- 29:25me, right? And that's good.
- 29:28Like if nothing else I want my work to invoke, something in an
- 29:32amine. So what someone's paid attention
- 29:34enough to actually say something rather than just shrugging It
- 29:38Off? Yeah.
- 29:41Well, don't forget, there's a lot of people that just dislike
- 29:43your stuff like on YouTube, they're just dislike it but I
- 29:46don't. For instance, there's one person
- 29:48I know. It's, I know for a fact, it's a
- 29:51particular person. There was someone who was I
- 29:56regularly post my songs on my subreddits right in a Reddit
- 30:02like acoustic Originals or something like that, right.
- 30:05Or acoustic cover. That is various different ones I
- 30:07posted and there was someone who To a comment that was YouTube
- 30:11already. I might have mentioned this last
- 30:13time we spoke, I can't remember. But basically they said stuff
- 30:15like our yeah you know, all your songs sound the same same chord
- 30:19progression, which is incorrect. Like if they listen to all of
- 30:22the songs, I've written some of them have similar chord
- 30:25progressions but a lot of them are different, different,
- 30:27tunings different sounds whatever.
- 30:29Right? But you know, there's many
- 30:31musicians that work in that manner, you know, me if you
- 30:34listen to someone like I don't know, City and Colour like
- 30:37there's a lot of his call progressions are Velour or like
- 30:40John, Butler Trio, you know, he hears music, sometimes it all,
- 30:44the songs even sound exactly the same, right?
- 30:46They still a different song. So I looked at that criticism
- 30:50and I was just like this is just incorrect like it's it's fine, I
- 30:54appreciate the criticism and I take it you know, I think about
- 30:58it now. Every time I write a song I'm
- 30:59like I hope this isn't too similar to what I've done before
- 31:03but at the same time like I mean that's not really a bad thing.
- 31:08Like That's kind of a lot. Like, for instance, if you write
- 31:12an album, often all of the songs on the album will sound similar
- 31:16because it's that particular vision for that record like his
- 31:19good example. There's an album, I love by a
- 31:22band called an incubus. They're kind of like a rock
- 31:26outfit from the 2000s, right? I love, love love, love them.
- 31:30And they did an album, I believe it's called circles.
- 31:33I could be wrong, but it's got songs.
- 31:34Like, wish you were here not by Pink Floyd's this different And
- 31:40Evan am a few other songs and they all sound very similar like
- 31:44tone pacing all of this stuff but they're all different songs.
- 31:48But I take it as like oh this whole record is One Vision one
- 31:52particular Moment, One capturing of a sound in a particular time
- 31:58and that's how I see my music like right now, all of my music
- 32:02sound to certain way and I kind of see it as like, yeah, I know
- 32:06I just Hit the mic. Ha ha bloopers.
- 32:12You're such a cool on the blooper reel.
- 32:15Anyway we're not really didn't mean childish.
- 32:22Yeah tell you anyway. You're making me lose my train
- 32:25of thought now. Yeah.
- 32:27So the music I have right now that I'm writing right now II,
- 32:30see it as like lockdown music, it's all kind of similar
- 32:34sounding but I am branching and experimenting as much as
- 32:37possible. but when I compare this to like the last solo stuff
- 32:40I did back in 2015 2016. And also back in 2013 when I did
- 32:47an EP, it's very different. So yeah, I always look at
- 32:53constructive criticism that I receive and try to like, think
- 32:57about like does this actually apply?
- 32:58Is this really constructive to me?
- 33:00Is this just someone hating? Because a lot of the time when
- 33:03you receive negative comments, it just comes out of jealousy.
- 33:07Like that example, that you gave.
- 33:09If I heard that I would just think this person's just Not
- 33:13jealous, but it bothers them on some level.
- 33:16Like it's insecurities like, this isn't a reflection of me,
- 33:19this is more of a reflection of them, you know what I mean?
- 33:21It's slow because that's the thing.
- 33:23When you're a happy person, either confident in yourself or
- 33:27happy in life. You don't attack other people
- 33:30like ever, you know, me, you don't hate on other people.
- 33:33That's something that - people do, which is what I've sort of
- 33:36realized that because don't get me wrong.
- 33:38You know, I was a negative person when I was growing up.
- 33:41When I was like, Late. Teens, I was not happy.
- 33:45You know, I've told the story many times I was working at a
- 33:47supermarket hate in life. You know, there were good things
- 33:49going on in my life but the bulk of my life was working in the
- 33:52supermarket and hating myself and feeling like I was never
- 33:56going to achieve anything and that was reinforced by the
- 33:59managers I had and the customers that were talked down to me and
- 34:02all of these different factors, right?
- 34:04In the mind of actually I'm just going to step in here and say
- 34:06that I kind of feel like that sometimes, but the important
- 34:12thing, This is sort of some advice to anybody who's up
- 34:14there. You know sort of heading
- 34:16yourself for whatever reason. Don't I know it's hard.
- 34:20Ha ha ha. I'm sorry.
- 34:23Great advice man. Now listen, listen here, my
- 34:26attempt. Okay, I'm listening, I'm
- 34:28innocent if try and think of the things that make you happy.
- 34:34Like, let's say, for example, you are working in a supermarket
- 34:39and you are sort of really thinking In that you're not
- 34:43going to really go anywhere. The only person who can change
- 34:46that, is you either? I mean, yeah.
- 34:50Okay, work in the supermarket, really.
- 34:53It's not the best job in the world, is it?
- 34:54But you're, you're making money, you're saving money.
- 34:58So that you can either go to college, get driving lessons.
- 35:02Put that towards your career, your intern.
- 35:08Yeah. Okay.
- 35:09You're in a supermarket. Stacking shelves.
- 35:12But realistically. You're preparing for your
- 35:16future. You know, I want to step in here
- 35:18because I literally obviously, like I said, I was actually in
- 35:22this situation nearly 10 years ago.
- 35:26Now, it's kind of crazy to think about nine years ago and I can
- 35:30tell I can walk you through exactly how I felt I remember.
- 35:39I remember feeling like very alone even though I had a
- 35:43girlfriend at the time friends, sort of you know not I'm very
- 35:51picky about friends these days. Like I've considered very few
- 35:55people to actually be friends. Most people I just regard as
- 35:57acquaintances about me. You know what?
- 36:05Let's get in there. Now, I consider you a friend but
- 36:07the thing is like, what you got need to understand is that like,
- 36:10I keep people at distance, like I let very, I let very few
- 36:15people like in, so there's like loads of stuff you don't know
- 36:18about me and that you won't know unless we become like really
- 36:21close Pally best mate. Totally, totally agree.
- 36:24Right. But I do it as a defense
- 36:26mechanism, and I think that a lot of people should, I don't
- 36:29think you should give yourself away freely to people.
- 36:32Because people, and this is just personal experience.
- 36:34People have screwed me over betrayed me all this lovely
- 36:39stuff. So that's mainly why I do it.
- 36:43If nobody knows what's going on or what?
- 36:46What sort of happened. Yeah, that that information is
- 36:51controlled only by you. If you let the wrong person in,
- 36:55they also know that information. And then you're kind of, you've
- 36:58lost a bit of control. They decided to tell everybody,
- 37:03That's it gone. Anyway, bring it back to the
- 37:05point. So when I was in the supermarket
- 37:08like even though on the surface you know I had a band, had a
- 37:13girlfriend. I had people, I knew I had a
- 37:16family and I mean, like I had things that I could people I
- 37:20could talk to but I couldn't talk to them because they either
- 37:23didn't care or they didn't get how I was feeling.
- 37:29You know what I mean? Like so I really felt alone and
- 37:31it's crazy feeling to feel alone when you're surrounded by
- 37:35people, that's worse than being a look like right now, I'm truly
- 37:38alone. Like I don't have any friends
- 37:40around me, I don't know anyone up here, you know, it's it gets
- 37:45lonely. But you know, I feel like really
- 37:46free and it's a weird feeling. I feel like extremely happy and
- 37:51like kind of a bit sad at the same time, but I definitely feel
- 37:56what hundred times happier than So, in many years and definitely
- 38:00million times happier than I felt working in that job.
- 38:03And here's the thing. It wasn't even about the job.
- 38:07It was about people. See, there's nothing wrong with
- 38:10working. In a supermarket.
- 38:11I knew many people that work all their life in a supermarket, and
- 38:14they love the job, and it's a pretty straightforward jobs,
- 38:16pretty easy, especially if you work for, like the higher tier,
- 38:20you know, companies like waitrose or Marks and Spencers,
- 38:23like it's it's pretty straightforward.
- 38:25Drop easy. You can get quite through
- 38:27through the ranks pretty easily. You know, there's a lot of
- 38:29positives but as a teenager with low self-esteem hating the world
- 38:35not feeling happy. Not feeling like they had a
- 38:37support network or any one that cared about me.
- 38:39I felt kind of like I just like thrown my life away like you
- 38:44know everyone else was going off to University and here I am in
- 38:47this place, you know and it really started to reinforce when
- 38:51I you know the band broke up and things started to go bad with
- 38:57the girl that I was with at the time. everything was just going
- 39:00to shit and it really reinforced how I felt at the time.
- 39:06But like I said, people made it worse.
- 39:08The managers around me. You know, I was trying to become
- 39:12a Manager there, I figured like it while I'm here.
- 39:17I should at least because I've always if nothing else, I've
- 39:20always had ambition within what anything I do, I've always tried
- 39:24to make something of what I'm doing.
- 39:26Even if I hate what I'm doing, I try my best and I just kept
- 39:30getting held down and that was my first experience of like
- 39:34workplace politics and it all sounds stupid to people because
- 39:37it's a fucking Supermarket bit. Anyone that works in any job
- 39:41ever will experience some sort of workplace politics Just
- 39:45inevitable. And unfortunately it has nothing
- 39:48to do with Merit. You can work your absolute ass
- 39:51off and you'll still be held down and it will come down to
- 39:54things, like nepotism, favoritism, whatever the case
- 39:57may be. And that's what was happening in
- 39:59this place. And it reinforced myself, or my
- 40:03lack of self-esteem, the managers kind of caught on to
- 40:05the fact that I had low self-esteem and wood.
- 40:10You know, it's kind of fucked. Like they kind of exploited that
- 40:12they knew they were doing it. They gave me opportunities and
- 40:15they said, like, hey yeah, we're going to, we're going to finally
- 40:18do this. We're going to give you this
- 40:19opportunity to be a team manager and it never happened and then
- 40:22they would give it to other people.
- 40:23They did shit like bring someone in, get me to train them and
- 40:28then put them over me, you know? And I just I'd had enough after
- 40:35that and, you know, I heard that the managers were like, bitching
- 40:38behind my back saying I was worthless and you know, I would
- 40:42never amount to anything and that's just what the management
- 40:45was saying and other people, right?
- 40:48Then there's the customers. Now, I worked in a place that
- 40:51you know it was a very well-to-do area is an area
- 40:56called chizik in London. Average house prices like 5
- 41:01million or something like that, you get lost.
- 41:03I bet he's living there, people commute at the time, they were
- 41:06commuting in and out of London to or sorry within London to go
- 41:10to White city where the BBC used to be, but there was other like
- 41:13places. They would go and such anyway,
- 41:17because of that, they would kind of look at you, like, you know,
- 41:21look down at down at you talk down to you.
- 41:23They would assume because you're working in a supermarket, you're
- 41:26stupid or, you know, not to be treated and treated with the
- 41:29respect which I think doesn't matter how successful you are in
- 41:32life, you shouldn't treat. Anyone like that, you know, it
- 41:34doesn't fucking matter where they work or what they do, at
- 41:37that has no reflection on their intelligence, you know.
- 41:41But anyway that's how I was being treated on a daily basis
- 41:44and eventually it kind of got to the point where I got so sick
- 41:47and tired of it that I just had to do something about it.
- 41:51I was like, it's either this or I don't know, I just lose my
- 41:54fucking mind and As the relationship with breaking down
- 42:02with this girl, that I was with I because she basically, she was
- 42:06studying and doing stuff the whole time as well.
- 42:09And I was like this is really - to having a relationship.
- 42:13I was jealous of her, envious of her doing that.
- 42:16I wanted to her to do it. I supported her doing now,
- 42:19obviously. But I was jealous, you know,
- 42:21which is an ugly emotion to have.
- 42:23But I was this Really confused miserable teenager, and it's
- 42:31weird. Because you think at that age
- 42:32you got your whole life ahead of you should be excited about
- 42:35things and naive and stuff, but I already felt like I knew
- 42:38everything and that, you know, not in a like sense that I know
- 42:41everything, but I felt like there's nothing for me.
- 42:45There's, you know, I've got nothing to look forward to.
- 42:47That's how I fell And then I just kind of had this attitude
- 42:51of like, fuck it. Let's let's just try to get into
- 42:54UT at the last minute and so I tried to do that didn't work out
- 42:59in the first time because it was just too late to leave it.
- 43:03But I started, you know, working at going to that college.
- 43:06I drop down to part-time hours which was a godsend, so much
- 43:09happier when I did that because I could get away from the
- 43:12supermarket. I could choose my own hours, to
- 43:14some extent. And, you know, I was doing
- 43:17something else besides stuck in sure.
- 43:21And then, like I said, I've told this story a million times so I
- 43:23won't finish it because everyone knows the ending, right?
- 43:26But the point of all of this is that it's very easy to say to
- 43:31people. Hey, you know, you've just got
- 43:33to go and do it. But you know what, it's it's not
- 43:35that easy. It took me two.
- 43:40I would say two and a half years before I was able to just
- 43:43finally say, fuck it. Let's just do it.
- 43:45And part of that was because of the band because I thought the
- 43:48band would work. Out and it didn't part of it was
- 43:50like me, not knowing me being unsure.
- 43:53Am I intelligent enough to go to UNI?
- 43:55Can I do this gonna because there wasn't anyone around me
- 43:58saying, hey Christian, you can do this.
- 44:01Hey Christian, I believe in you. Hey Christian, you should
- 44:03consider this. Have you ever considered this?
- 44:05There was no one like that. There was one guy.
- 44:09One person is name was Ross. He was older than me, very
- 44:13positive guy. He'd been through a lot of shit
- 44:16in his life. And he was a breath of fresh air
- 44:21in a place with mostly negative people.
- 44:24He was really positive, and he actually made me feel like I
- 44:29might actually be worth something and I attribute a lot
- 44:35of my feeling of like, hey, maybe I should try this.
- 44:38Maybe I should go this go for this to him.
- 44:41I'm not sure if he knows this or not.
- 44:43Unfortunately, we fell out of touch.
- 44:45Just these things happen, right? But I lost Always, you know,
- 44:49sing his Praises. I think he's an awesome guy and
- 44:53he really helped me at that point and throughout my life.
- 44:57There's been very rarely anyone like that.
- 44:59There's been a few people here and there along the way but
- 45:02mostly it's just been people even not giving a fuck or people
- 45:07trying to bring me down and the few people throughout my life
- 45:10that have been like the positive force and I've actually given me
- 45:13some hope of belief in myself like they come few and far
- 45:16between that's why you really like it.
- 45:18You ever meet someone like that in your life like really make
- 45:22the most of that person. I treasure them because most
- 45:25people around you, unfortunately are not like that and That's
- 45:32what I would take away from it and that's why I would say.
- 45:33Like it's no offense to you but it's not as easy as like you
- 45:38make it sound like all you just have to just do it like to some
- 45:41extent. Yeah, you do need to push
- 45:42yourself. You are in control of yourself.
- 45:44You are responsible. No one is responsible for you.
- 45:49That is true. But at the same time, you do
- 45:52kind of need some people around you.
- 45:53You know, people that give you a kick up the arse, make you see
- 45:59life differently, you know? This is why it's always
- 46:01Important to talk to like as many people as possible in life
- 46:04and to really, you know, put yourself out there because you
- 46:06never know what you can learn from people and how you can
- 46:09grow, and what you'll get, you know what I mean.
- 46:13And what you can give as well to some extent people often comment
- 46:19right now on the fact that, you know, they think that I'm a very
- 46:23positive person. They think I'm confident they
- 46:25think you know, all of this crap but basically They think about
- 46:32me and they say about me and it's funny to me because a, I'm
- 46:39not like a fully confident person.
- 46:42You know, I have good days and bad layers like anyone else.
- 46:45A lot of the way that I am right now is just years of
- 46:50understanding, like, how you need to present yourself in the
- 46:53world and how you need to put yourself out there and just try,
- 46:57just try. Even if you don't feel
- 46:59confident, even if you doubt yourself.
- 47:01All the time. I think you just have to try
- 47:04because if you don't try you just miss out and then you're
- 47:08full of regrets and that is worse than anything else is not
- 47:12knowing if you could have done something or not you know
- 47:14because the worst that can happen when you try is that it
- 47:18just doesn't work out. And you know, if that happens
- 47:21you learn something from it, you brush yourself off and you move
- 47:24on, right? But if you don't try, that's
- 47:27just on you, that's on no one else.
- 47:32So yeah, I don't know. I feel like I've gone off on a
- 47:34real times in here but I yeah that's what I think.
- 47:39Well, I've got nothing really to say, except I agree.
- 47:44When I was saying, when I was saying about having a positive
- 47:48outlook and focusing on you, deciding who you want to be.
- 47:53Yes, that's all up to perspective.
- 47:56If you can't do it, you can't do it.
- 47:57If you can, well done. You're one of the very few
- 48:00people that actually can. Yeah, I know.
- 48:02Yeah, that is important. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to
- 48:06say, segue this into the first segment.
- 48:11Because it has been about an hour and we haven't even touched
- 48:15this first segment. Yeah, I am.
- 48:18It's good. This is this is what happens
- 48:19when me and you talk. This is good stuff went off on a
- 48:22huge tangent. It's so okay, so ask Christian,
- 48:26let's go. Yes.
- 48:28Okay so the very first question, the very most important
- 48:33question. Why do you Christian Reef?
- 48:37Enjoy making this podcast. Whoo.
- 48:42Oh damn. Ladies and gentlemen, buckle
- 48:45your seatbelts. This might be a long one.
- 48:51Why do I enjoy making this podcast?
- 48:59It's not an easy question to answer, really.
- 49:01I mean, I've always wanted to do a podcast for many years
- 49:04originally. I just wanted to do a wrestling
- 49:06podcast and just talk about wrestling.
- 49:10I'd still be up for doing that, to be honest, but I quickly
- 49:14realized that I wanted to talk about all sorts of things.
- 49:16I didn't want to be restricted. Obviously, I did the tcga
- 49:23podcast very briefly. I really enjoyed that.
- 49:27I figured, that was what I was going to do because I didn't
- 49:29feel like I was interesting enough to do my own podcast.
- 49:34Like I know there's people that do it for instance, there's a
- 49:38wrestler called hurricane. Helms, the hurricane if you
- 49:41know, who I'm talking about and I don't really follow.
- 49:45That's fine. That's fine.
- 49:46He's a really funny entertaining guy.
- 49:49Very excellent, professional wrestler, and he does his own
- 49:53podcast like, just him. He I think he occasionally has
- 49:56guests and stuff, but mostly it's just him talking and I
- 49:59figured like if I did my own podcast, that's what it would
- 50:02be. And I just wasn't sure if that
- 50:05was interesting enough. but once I started vlogging, I kind of
- 50:12realized, I think it was when childish Jacko said to me like
- 50:15oh, you know, sometimes I just listened to your Vlogs while I'm
- 50:18at work, you know, just have them on in the background and I
- 50:21kind of laughed at that but I was like, that's interesting
- 50:23like so there something like when people, when I talk people,
- 50:28you know, might sometimes listen to what I'm saying, and find it
- 50:31interesting and I was like, I suppose I could try And I think
- 50:36this is one of those things where I'm still kind of figuring
- 50:40it all out if I'm honest. I know, it's been 50 episodes
- 50:45and there's been a lot. I've learned a lot in that time,
- 50:47but I think that It's one of those things that I just wanted
- 50:52to try and do and see what would happen and through the course of
- 50:57doing it. I've learned that I really enjoy
- 51:00like, interviewing people because originally, I did, I
- 51:06will always intended to have guests on the show but I didn't
- 51:09really know how that would look like.
- 51:10Would I talk to them about certain topics or would it,
- 51:14would it be like a game show type scenario?
- 51:17Or like what would happen right before randomly I Sided like a
- 51:21screw it, I'm just going to interview people like, you know,
- 51:24that would be interesting. You know, you introduce people
- 51:26to someone, you go through their life, you talk about various
- 51:29things, they're doing their dreams, their, you know, their
- 51:34beliefs on things whatever. And like with every person
- 51:37that's appeared on the show, it's been different.
- 51:39Some people, you know it's been straightforward, we do the
- 51:41interview, that's it. Other people, you know,
- 51:44escalates into some a long conversation discussion and I
- 51:47embrace either I'm happy to do either really Lee.
- 51:53So, I mean, I don't know if this really answers the question so
- 51:56can't give like a concrete answer to it.
- 51:58But I think mostly the reason I do it is because I just enjoy
- 52:05talking to people and learning from people.
- 52:11I enjoy the founder of the interviews and learning about
- 52:15the people that you're speaking to.
- 52:17Yeah, and I enjoy the fact that like every I'm I do this.
- 52:21It's always different. It's never the same.
- 52:24No guest is ever the same. It always feels the looks
- 52:28different. It's always a challenge.
- 52:31I like that. I like things in life that are a
- 52:33challenge. There you go.
- 52:36Okay, I must admit. That is a pretty good answer.
- 52:40Thanks. I enjoy doing the podcast
- 52:43because I mean assistant asked the ills yet, but I don't think
- 52:48you want to hear. I enjoy doing the podcast
- 52:51because not like it gives me something to do, but I enjoy
- 53:00believing that I have project. Hmm.
- 53:05Right now I'm not really working on anything.
- 53:06I'm taking a break from YouTube. I might make some odd videos
- 53:11that have sort of have, no actual meaning, but this this
- 53:18gives me A Pastime. This, this helps this helps me
- 53:24speak and get things out and sort of take control of my life,
- 53:31I guess. So also, it's important to have
- 53:35something to do. I know what you mean?
- 53:38Like, have a purpose or sense of purpose.
- 53:42As I mean, it's not, it's not like I'm saying, you know, I'm
- 53:45useless, there's no purpose of me exist.
- 53:50It's like for me, it's like I've been unemployed this whole time
- 53:52as everyone knows. And I remember thinking like in
- 53:56the beginning of this like it's very easy to just sit and play
- 53:59games and waste your time. But I felt like I have to have
- 54:03like, like me personally as a human being I have to have I
- 54:08like a day-to-day things that I'm working on goals projects, I
- 54:11don't know what it is about me. I've just learned over time,
- 54:14that's the type of person that I am.
- 54:16I have to have things that I'm working towards.
- 54:21I've have to feel like I'm contributing something of worth,
- 54:25that's why I started volunteering as well.
- 54:26It wasn't just about helping people.
- 54:28It was about like, how can I contribute to the world in a
- 54:32positive way? You know, and that's kind of
- 54:35like how I see what I'm doing as well here with Creating like I'm
- 54:40not trying to say like, oh I view.
- 54:42This is like some amazing content that would change
- 54:44people's lives because obviously not that like I do kind of feel
- 54:48like if I can make people smile or make people entertained or
- 54:54like maybe they're having a shitty day and they put this
- 54:56podcast on and it just makes getting through that day.
- 54:59You be easy. I like I consider that to be
- 55:01like something positive and a positive contribution and I've
- 55:05started to think more and more about that as I've gotten.
- 55:08An older like when I was young, when I was a teenager I didn't
- 55:11give a flying fuck about these things.
- 55:12I just wanted to be happy and didn't care about anything else.
- 55:16Whereas now I kind of see like being happy and is as much about
- 55:23doing things for yourself, that make you happy, as it is about
- 55:28doing things for the betterment of everyone else around you as
- 55:31well. Hey, that's a very good point.
- 55:38Making people happy making people.
- 55:39Happy is probably one of the best reasons you can give.
- 55:42So Try try. At least everybody, everybody
- 55:47listening everybody listening along to this right now.
- 55:51Just give a little bit of a round of applause.
- 55:53If you're sitting on the Bus full of will get very confused.
- 55:57Just sitting on the train just going.
- 56:01The end of the day. I'm just another guy just doing
- 56:04everybody. Everybody is just another
- 56:06person. Don't worry about it.
- 56:08That's true. Every no, not the people.
- 56:11Listen to this, the people listened to the some very
- 56:13special people, very good people.
- 56:15But everybody who decides to not, listen just another person
- 56:19who wasn't just, just just missing out.
- 56:22This was ignorant. Ignorant boogers.
- 56:24Yeah. Well, I wouldn't go that far.
- 56:25Come on, maybe, maybe they just haven't discovered the podcast
- 56:29yet, you know? And I know.
- 56:31Check my fish change their lives.
- 56:36Listen people listen. Take advice, man.
- 56:44Okay, so this is an idea that I had but didn't really follow
- 56:49through with like asking you about.
- 56:51It's okay, so ask it sort of on record the podcast episodes in
- 56:572021. Yes.
- 57:01So you started this podcast this year, right 2020?
- 57:04Yeah. July time.
- 57:06I think. Yeah.
- 57:09How would you feel about making the episodes and 2021 season 2?
- 57:19I've been contemplating it or you've thought about it.
- 57:23Yeah, I mean. The thing with the thing with me
- 57:29is I feel that if you're going to do something like that, it
- 57:31needs to be new. If you're coming back in your
- 57:33own, your domain, you're doing a new thing, everything about it
- 57:37needs to change. So like what that would look
- 57:40like for me is, I need to have the money to get an Editor to
- 57:44edit these the look at them as well.
- 57:47So it's not just about how this looks but what I would want is
- 57:52like a logo links. To myself and yourself, you
- 58:00know, all of that, I want it to look and feel different.
- 58:03So for a season to, that's what would need to happen, as far as
- 58:07I'm concerned because I don't have the money to do that right
- 58:09now, I'm going to continue in the manner that I am now.
- 58:14So it will remain season 1 or whatever it doesn't really
- 58:18matter like this whole season. One thing like I've noticed that
- 58:20that's the thing on like anchor. Where I distribute the the
- 58:24podcast for audio platforms and I thought Bout that I thought
- 58:28about, I go maybe season 2 will be next year, but like pass this
- 58:32episode. I've already got podcasts lined
- 58:34up that hopefully will still happen and that will continue on
- 58:39afterwards, after 50. And I figured like or should I
- 58:42do something special and I might want, there's not really
- 58:45anything I can do that. Will look to the quality and
- 58:48standard that I want. That's the thing.
- 58:50That's the reality of the situation is anything that I
- 58:52produce will not be great quality because I'm just not a
- 58:57good day. I know and I'm restricted by the
- 58:59tools that I have, but I'm absolutely 100% willing to put
- 59:03the money into getting, like, an editor, and getting an artist
- 59:06and all that stuff. When money is there, when I have
- 59:11that kind of money, if what, when it comes to a day, where
- 59:15like, I don't know, I get sponsored or I'm earning money
- 59:19from YouTube or, I don't know, maybe I received donations or
- 59:24something like that, then I would do that basically Okay.
- 59:29And on the subject of seasons and episodes, how many more
- 59:36episodes do you think they'll be of the Christian era podcast
- 59:42it'll just go all you can give me a really simple answer like
- 59:46as many as we can make. Because that, that is actually
- 59:51has a pretty good answer because that means that there's like, no
- 59:54end whatsoever. But like, I guess my question is
- 59:57more, have you ever thought about ending it?
- 1:00:01Well yeah, when I get like upset and night sad at the fact that
- 1:00:06it doesn't get any views that's normally when I go I should just
- 1:00:08end this right now basically. Yeah, I'm quitting but like I
- 1:00:16wouldn't ever do that because that's just not the type of
- 1:00:19person I am. Like if I'm going to enter that
- 1:00:22they just passed the half like a it has to have a conclusive
- 1:00:24ending but yeah. Have a foot about it.
- 1:00:29Yes, but I just, I mean, my attitude is I'll keep doing this
- 1:00:34as long as I enjoy it and as long as I want to, you know, I
- 1:00:37mean like I'm sure it will end one day, but I kind of I mean, I
- 1:00:42see I look at like Joe Rogan and how long he's been doing it and
- 1:00:45how his podcast has changed throughout the years.
- 1:00:49So you're saying that, I maybe at one point they'll be like an
- 1:00:52episode 1002. Who knows, maybe, you know, I
- 1:00:56mean, I didn't order a thousand. I mean, that's the whole point
- 1:00:59of this episode, why I wanted to do a special episode It was
- 1:01:02because like I'm amazed that we got 250, like I couldn't believe
- 1:01:08that we got to 10 episodes. I am furious.
- 1:01:13I am proud of you. Well, thank you.
- 1:01:15I remember when I looked on Spotify and there was like
- 1:01:18episode 12 like by 5. Yeah 9.
- 1:01:22And now we've just like blown out of the water and has 50.
- 1:01:30I mean, I think that's the thing.
- 1:01:31It's like if the more work you put in and the harder you try
- 1:01:35the The better things will become inevitably.
- 1:01:39Like, I've had some really great guests lately.
- 1:01:41I keep receiving really great guests.
- 1:01:45I keep getting good ideas for like future topics.
- 1:01:47We can do, you know, obviously the decision to make you a
- 1:01:51co-host was a big one. I like again, I've said this
- 1:01:54before, but I like the fact that a podcast almost feels like
- 1:01:56split. It's like two worlds operating
- 1:01:59within the same sphere, if you know what I mean.
- 1:02:01It's like, yeah. Interviews.
- 1:02:03And then Christian Dutch. I like that.
- 1:02:07Don't know why I like that. I don't I can't think of any of
- 1:02:09the podcast that does that. I'm sure.
- 1:02:11There are people costs to operate in that manner, but I
- 1:02:14like that. It's a variety thing.
- 1:02:16I like this idea that every time you tune in, you don't know what
- 1:02:20you're going to expect. I like that one sec.
- 1:02:23I'm going to I didn't know I could do this, but what are you
- 1:02:29doing? Would you not going to What are
- 1:02:33you doing? What's going on?
- 1:02:36What's going on changed? I've changed my name to do
- 1:02:38instead of bills. Let me know YouTube as well
- 1:02:42because my name is just Stills. But like there's already a
- 1:02:44YouTuber called bills. He's actually pretty.
- 1:02:48I've been telling you from the start.
- 1:02:50You should just call yourself Dutch deals.
- 1:02:52It's a great name. No one else has it.
- 1:02:54I'm going to keep calling you that because I think it's a
- 1:02:56great name. Like I like I like Dutch.
- 1:02:59It's just so simple. You don't know.
- 1:03:02But you did. The good thing about your name
- 1:03:03is interchangeable, you can use both.
- 1:03:06I just personally feel that you should your brand Should be
- 1:03:10Dutch deals, it's a good brand to have its sometimes you hear a
- 1:03:15name you know that expression at what's in a name like there's a
- 1:03:19lot in that name. It's it sounds like a brand-new
- 1:03:23people. Tell me the same thing about my
- 1:03:24name. It's just a fucking name at the
- 1:03:26end of the day. But I mean people have said that
- 1:03:29they like oh that sounds like a good name, like a professional
- 1:03:32name and I'm like yeah, I like it.
- 1:03:35You know, and I think that's the main thing.
- 1:03:36If you like it if it sounds good if Then use it, you know.
- 1:03:41I don't know. I think it also.
- 1:03:44There's there's the rhythm of how it sounds as well.
- 1:03:47If it's just deals or Dutch, it doesn't kind of roll off the
- 1:03:50tongue quite as as well as saying Dutch deals.
- 1:03:53It just hmm sounds good. Okay there we go.
- 1:03:57Don't change your back to Dutch dip.
- 1:04:01Hasn't changed. It's still says Dutch.
- 1:04:04No, but on YouTube. I mean, good, man.
- 1:04:08Good man. Ultimately, it's up to you.
- 1:04:10It's your decision in the end of the day.
- 1:04:12I just personally, if I was if it was me that's what I would do
- 1:04:16just say I like how I like how my banner is says deals and then
- 1:04:21underneath, it says subscriber you're a noodle.
- 1:04:24I don't even remember doing that subscribe while you're a noodle.
- 1:04:28Yeah. Fair enough.
- 1:04:31But my handle on like Twitter. I just I don't know what that
- 1:04:36should be Dodge do is right? Because right now it's done
- 1:04:40Pringle with an O instead of his instead of a with it wasn't 07.
- 1:04:44Oh that's actually your full name.
- 1:04:45Isn't your real name? Dylan Pringle?
- 1:04:48Yeah, I've just released that information.
- 1:04:53It's fine. It's okay.
- 1:05:01Do people people will find out your name.
- 1:05:03Anyway, this is 20/20 this isn't like 1970.
- 1:05:07People will like, literally go to the ends of the Earth to find
- 1:05:12out that favorite YouTubers name.
- 1:05:14Yeah, I'm out that I'm doubt. I doubt, I'm anybody's favorite
- 1:05:17YouTuber, he might, you know, you don't know.
- 1:05:20Maybe you are, you never know. That's quite a cool concept to
- 1:05:26think about what if I'm like someone's favorite usual but it
- 1:05:30what if someone just watches me religiously?
- 1:05:33That would be so cool. I would love to have a fan like
- 1:05:35that. I'd be a man.
- 1:05:36Your number one fan. No, you're not the worst because
- 1:05:39this is podcast. Nobody can argue.
- 1:05:41Yeah, I can because you haven't watched all my content, you
- 1:05:44haven't even watched the whole of flip of a coin.
- 1:05:46So clearly, you're not my number one for Jonah.
- 1:05:48Jonah Jonah, slap fight. What's going on here?
- 1:05:51We've already had a fight. We got divorced and you
- 1:05:52remember, Chris you better not be getting rowdy with me.
- 1:05:57Again I swear to God we envy your.
- 1:06:00Did you already took the freaking house and I'm the cop.
- 1:06:03Exactly. So you don't want to be arguing
- 1:06:05with me because then you really will start losing stuff.
- 1:06:10Yeah. Well you're gonna lose something
- 1:06:11if you don't be quiet. Don't know what you want to do
- 1:06:16is make a difference now. Okay, I'm gonna make a death
- 1:06:18threats, I'm just making it was clearly a death for it.
- 1:06:24All right. Have you got any more questions
- 1:06:26for me? Well, that was just unnecessary
- 1:06:31for that, for those. For those listening to
- 1:06:33Christian, we've podcast didn't proceeded to make a disgusting
- 1:06:37face at the camera. So, we Joey resume or what's
- 1:06:45going on? I'll just wait for you to
- 1:06:51finish. So uncivilized.
- 1:07:06He done. I mean, let's just wait, let's
- 1:07:13just wait for you, you know. Meet this guy, my co-host.
- 1:07:22I mean, what's wrong with me? It's the series of bad
- 1:07:29decisions. That's what your 20s is really a
- 1:07:32series of bad decisions. One after the other doctor says,
- 1:07:41what are you thinking about? Because you don't want to know.
- 1:07:48No, because you finally stop thinking about it and you calm
- 1:07:51down and you sort of go, you know what the worst thing is
- 1:07:54when you're at school and, you know, you pass notes, I don't
- 1:07:57have kids still do that now. But like when you were passed
- 1:07:59like exploitive notes and then they're like, read the note out
- 1:08:03and it would be like something unbelievably offensive or dodgy.
- 1:08:07You're like on, do you really you really want me to read this
- 1:08:11out? You really want me to do that?
- 1:08:14I'm pretty sure my And got sent out of class because he like
- 1:08:17like it wasn't easy was not even thinking he just drew the
- 1:08:20swastika on his piece of paper. Yeah she came over to look at it
- 1:08:24and she just saw one that's the doll.
- 1:08:31Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:08:35So moving on, do you have any more questions for me or is this
- 1:08:39segment over? I have one more question for
- 1:08:43you. One more question.
- 1:08:44Okay. Really I would have thought you
- 1:08:46had more I do but but what and want to keep we've got a
- 1:08:51schedule to keep Christ the more man.
- 1:08:54This is this is the last ask Christian we going to do now but
- 1:08:57now but never for real, I've been thinking about the
- 1:09:00questions. Something I really wanted to do.
- 1:09:06I've got the ones that I really oh, great.
- 1:09:09No, I've got the ones that I really, really want to ask but
- 1:09:11there's some that just sort of, literally no point in them,
- 1:09:16okay? So the final question, Chris,
- 1:09:20you may recall in 2019, you made a short film called paperwork.
- 1:09:26Yes, when throat, you said that it was completely not scripted.
- 1:09:32Okay, so there was a script. We did learn it, but then when
- 1:09:37it came to the day of filming, we sort of ad-lib like a lot.
- 1:09:43Like I didn't even use the scripts anymore.
- 1:09:45I because I kind of is what I was talking to you about before.
- 1:09:48It was that whole thing of like we knew where we needed to go.
- 1:09:50We knew what the destination was, but to give you an example,
- 1:09:54when you see me walk in and start talking to everyone and
- 1:09:57Slam something down on the desk, all of that was ad-libbed.
- 1:10:01I just knew that. Basically, they wanted me to be
- 1:10:05a prick. I had to be an asshole office
- 1:10:08manager. That no one likes, and I was
- 1:10:09like, oh, that's easy. I've worked with people like
- 1:10:11this. So I know exactly what I'm
- 1:10:12doing. So, I've looked over and I was
- 1:10:16just a prick basically, and then when I slammed that, what a way,
- 1:10:21it was like fight setup files by his desk.
- 1:10:25I was like I could think of people, I know people that have
- 1:10:27done. Done this.
- 1:10:28I got no people like this exist. So it's fun playing that person.
- 1:10:34And. Yeah, but the whole thing was ad
- 1:10:35libs, I'm pretty sure all of us didn't use the script.
- 1:10:39We just kind of rolled with it. And yeah, I think it came out.
- 1:10:42Well, I enjoyed it. Well, that's good.
- 1:10:47Can I didn't. So the actual question that I
- 1:10:51was going to ask you in this is going to like it totally expose
- 1:10:54you and cheer for. Did you actually get any shots
- 1:10:57in the van? Yes, of course.
- 1:11:02Now we were told only we were told on purpose like the whole
- 1:11:06point of the scene is supposed to be a kind of like masking any
- 1:11:10bullshit thing where the actual thing.
- 1:11:13If you watch it, it's supposed to do something much deeper.
- 1:11:17I can't remember what it was exactly based on, but the whole
- 1:11:19idea is my character is supposed to be like We can then the other
- 1:11:27male character. So I was told to purposefully
- 1:11:30Miss like and it was funny like how close I was to the like is
- 1:11:35impossible to miss without like, I don't know.
- 1:11:38Having a seizure showing you were actually really close to
- 1:11:40the bin. It was just made to look like
- 1:11:42you far. I will set no.
- 1:11:44Some of it was like I was a little bit of a distance away
- 1:11:47but yeah a lot of it was just clever camera work.
- 1:11:51But so also when you were In the actual shot like you moved
- 1:11:55forward. And when what let me put it this
- 1:11:57way, right? It looks like I'm going like
- 1:11:58that, right? But actually, like I'm a
- 1:12:01distance of like, what? I don't know like here to like
- 1:12:05more or less. That's or less is more or less
- 1:12:08like a slam-dunk basically. So you require the yeah.
- 1:12:10I mean like the actual for would have just been like that but I
- 1:12:13had to kind of give it a bit. Hmm, imagine imagine.
- 1:12:17Just that that shot. Just did you know the funny
- 1:12:19thing? It was actually more difficult
- 1:12:21to miss. Like it was actually kind of It
- 1:12:24difficult to pretend to MIT that it was strange.
- 1:12:26I don't know, those being told to, like deliberately Miss.
- 1:12:31Yeah, but it's fun. I liked, I liked because I love
- 1:12:36to play villains and assholes. It's so fun.
- 1:12:40Well, that just says, a lot about your character, doesn't
- 1:12:42it? Maybe love to play villains and
- 1:12:46assholes. It's fun.
- 1:12:48It's what like, it's like in wrestling or all the all
- 1:12:50wrestlers were said the same thing.
- 1:12:51It's way more fun to play a bad guy.
- 1:12:54Then it is playing a good guy. It's just, it just is, I don't
- 1:12:58know what it. And I think unless you're like
- 1:13:00a, no actually, even if you're a superhero in a superhero movie,
- 1:13:03I still think it's more fun to play the villain.
- 1:13:06Especially if it's like Batman, you're paying the Joker?
- 1:13:08I mean, who wouldn't want to do that?
- 1:13:10Like, hell yeah, any less learn. Then he'll come back to that
- 1:13:14one. Alright.
- 1:13:18So that was it, then. That was your last question.
- 1:13:21See, all right. Well, thank you very much for
- 1:13:23that. That's the final ask Christian
- 1:13:26segment for if you wanted back comment and we make the yeah.
- 1:13:30But back by public popular demand, I guess maybe one day.
- 1:13:34But yeah that's it. I asked question 3.
- 1:13:36Maybe maybe I'll stay a Trilogy, who knows?
- 1:13:38But yeah, thank you thinking. I think, actually, that's the
- 1:13:42third one. I'm pretty sure it's the third
- 1:13:43one. I'm pretty sure of the follicle.
- 1:13:48Whatcha saying different things to me for argument's sake.
- 1:13:51No, no, I'm not. I'm not being a dick.
- 1:13:53Like, I genuinely actually believe I need to double-check
- 1:13:57this. You should because I know that
- 1:14:00I've done them a lot for I've done them for my own YouTube
- 1:14:05account, as in like Like I do, I sometimes do live streams where
- 1:14:12it's just me, basically getting people to randomly, ask me
- 1:14:18questions and it's the same for my Instagram as well, but that's
- 1:14:23more livestream. And I encourage people to be
- 1:14:25silly with their questions and so, I mean, it's whatever.
- 1:14:27Whatever goes do, you know what I mean?
- 1:14:29We're as I kind of assumed with these videos that if anyone
- 1:14:33would ever send anything in, it would be stuff that they're
- 1:14:36actually really dying to know rather than just the office.
- 1:14:39What kind of thing but yeah, I don't know.
- 1:14:44Because on Instagram, I've done 99 versions.
- 1:14:54Where is this clip, man? and on YouTube, I think of, you
- 1:15:00know it, I'm right ask Christian to I think or maybe I haven't
- 1:15:07uploaded the third one. We'll just say it's three to
- 1:15:12four. Okay, 3.5 it's not it's not that
- 1:15:16important, is it not really? So This Is Us Christian 3.5
- 1:15:21that's been finished ah, on the bright side.
- 1:15:24This is the first ever. Oh dude, or ask Dutch deals by
- 1:15:32prayer, ask deals, but I could have warned me to like, take my
- 1:15:35airflo gun. Why would I, why would I do
- 1:15:37that? You just tortured me with those
- 1:15:39questions. I'm kidding.
- 1:15:43I'm kidding. I'm pretty sure I've asked you
- 1:15:46this before but just in case, what's your favorite type of
- 1:15:49content to create? My favorite type of content to
- 1:15:55create. Well, I quite like making Vlogs,
- 1:16:02but when they have a meaning, like the one where I went to
- 1:16:06three different countries. Yeah, that was a really fun Vlog
- 1:16:10to make. I also liked that little prank
- 1:16:17video. I did my dad, my didn't ya
- 1:16:20clearly not. How do you feel about that video
- 1:16:23that the prank video that we missed?
- 1:16:30Are you sad to know that we just went out?
- 1:16:36He said nah, man. Well, you'll be happy to know
- 1:16:40it's on like 126 views. So that's why some people must
- 1:16:45have liked it more than you You're just sad because you had
- 1:16:50to listen to watermelon sugar and I kept turning East.
- 1:16:54Yeah. That was probably the worst part
- 1:16:55of it for him. He hates watermelon Sugar by
- 1:16:58Harry Styles. Sure.
- 1:17:01This is it that you want a milk sugar?
- 1:17:05I never listen to her. It's awful.
- 1:17:09How is watermelon sugar white? Why you saying hi to one on
- 1:17:12sugar? I'll just what am I do?
- 1:17:13You think you I think makes sense in the world.
- 1:17:15It's not supposed to, it's just if it It's funny.
- 1:17:18Huh, pop sucks. Most pop music is just about
- 1:17:21sex. Anyway, if you really look into
- 1:17:23the lyrics, it will often be about sex.
- 1:17:27So very much something. Yeah, but mostly sex because sex
- 1:17:31sells that's 90% in haste kind of depressing.
- 1:17:34Like I remember years ago, there was a song, I think it was by
- 1:17:37Timbaland or something like that.
- 1:17:39I remember. But the lyrics were like our If
- 1:17:42you blow my whistle baby whistle baby.
- 1:17:44Yeah, that one. Yeah.
- 1:17:45That is. No obviously about sex.
- 1:17:47Like, come on. Yeah.
- 1:17:48But I didn't know that when I was young, I just like the tuna
- 1:17:51thought he was really cool. And I remember telling someone
- 1:17:54what it really meant and they are broke their world for them
- 1:17:57on felt so bad. That is just completely sticking
- 1:18:02to the topic, I guess you rock their world.
- 1:18:06Nope, no take us. Okay but your dream content to
- 1:18:15create. Gaming gaming.
- 1:18:22Yeah, I'd love to sit down and make playthroughs, but let's
- 1:18:26let's assume that money is not an issue.
- 1:18:29Like you can afford any equipment.
- 1:18:30Any go any place in the world whatever like you know, dream
- 1:18:35content, is it still gaming or is there anything else you'd
- 1:18:38like? I would I would build.
- 1:18:41If money isn't an issue, like you said, I would build like the
- 1:18:47Possible PC that I could build, so still by Gaming, yeah, fair
- 1:18:52enough, fair enough. Yeah, webcam and everything,
- 1:18:54like face-to-face can play through like a play, like,
- 1:18:58emotional games, fun games. My everything I would do the
- 1:19:02same as well. I people always ask me that as
- 1:19:05well, why don't you play new games?
- 1:19:06And it's like, oh, it's not because I don't want to it's
- 1:19:08because I just don't have the money.
- 1:19:10I do kind of 42 TV kind of food game console, like all I got
- 1:19:15yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna Gonna, I'm gonna spend 70 pounds to buy
- 1:19:20cyberpunk and play them. No.
- 1:19:24Know which game the, the new game that came out cyberpunk
- 1:19:282077? I would totally, can I tie game
- 1:19:31looks sloppy? It's an RPG.
- 1:19:32Yeah, it's an RPG, but you can like pick how you live.
- 1:19:37You can either be a corporate scum bag.
- 1:19:39You can be a nomad who's like sort of sound of everything out
- 1:19:44and all the well, or kind of thing.
- 1:19:47Yeah. Or you can be a street.
- 1:19:48Kid, looks fun. It looks fun.
- 1:19:51Looks like a big, a is, I would love to There's so many games I
- 1:19:55see, come and go consoles. I've seen come and go and I've
- 1:19:58just never had the money to play them and I would love to I
- 1:20:01really want my mark my words one day.
- 1:20:04I will be releasing early. Game play footage of a game and
- 1:20:09then proceeded to do a walk-through of it.
- 1:20:13Cool man. Well, I look forward to that
- 1:20:14day. I'm sure we, it will happen by
- 1:20:17the way. I just I just interject.
- 1:20:18If no one, if you're if you're not already, please subscribe to
- 1:20:21Dutch deals on YouTube. He's a great.
- 1:20:23It YouTuber. I know I've said it before but,
- 1:20:25you know, hey, he's part of the show.
- 1:20:27So you got supporting now y'all that's that's that's crazy.
- 1:20:33I'm just a past like 7,000, some sort of trick.
- 1:20:37Wow, that'd be awesome. If that was true.
- 1:20:41That's that's actually not even possible.
- 1:20:43Because, of course, it is, every single, one of your subscribers
- 1:20:46was to watch this video. That's 500.
- 1:20:48So, five engine 515, believe, 515, plus 130, Does not equal
- 1:20:54seven thousand. No but that's still a lot.
- 1:20:57I would be like 700 or something.
- 1:21:00So be like that's crazy very close to he's amazing.
- 1:21:05I've seen it happen to people in my network there's a guy he's
- 1:21:09been on the show before Calamity Hatcher is a school friend of
- 1:21:13mine and he's got to 1,200 subscribers and he's killing it
- 1:21:17with the livestreams. He's monetized.
- 1:21:19Now he's doing the YouTube thing man.
- 1:21:22It's cool to see he deserves He's a good guy but hey I can't
- 1:21:26help be envious. It's like ah to be like crazy is
- 1:21:31it sort of like what happens is jacksepticeye you know that?
- 1:21:34I don't know the story. I know the guy got it you got
- 1:21:37it. You gotta shout out from
- 1:21:38PewDiePie and his phone was going off every couple of
- 1:21:42seconds with a new subscriber. Wow, I think you got up like
- 1:21:48either was either 12 or 120,000, but it was different with them
- 1:21:52though. Wasn't it?
- 1:21:52Like they became Friends or something?
- 1:21:55No no he want to Jack, want to shout out, we want to shout out.
- 1:22:03Yeah, he won a shout-out? Yeah because PewDiePie PewDiePie
- 1:22:06was going to give out like ten shoutouts.
- 1:22:08Oh, wow. And they sort of he looked
- 1:22:11through the channels and he sort of said what I like about Jack
- 1:22:15is that you should completely Crazy idiot but he makes good
- 1:22:18content. So don't subscribe.
- 1:22:20I remember, I remember there was a point where I tried to get
- 1:22:23shot. Shouts from KSI because I really
- 1:22:25like his content. I've been following him for many
- 1:22:27years and I tried genuinely tried, I tried doing like little
- 1:22:31mini covers, have his staff at ages, trying to get his
- 1:22:34attention and it just never happened.
- 1:22:35Because the only way you can really do it is if you get lucky
- 1:22:39through like, Instagram will take Taco something or if people
- 1:22:41like you on the Reddit. But I just never got noticed at
- 1:22:46all, if anything we'll call buried.
- 1:22:47People would like hate on it and stuff.
- 1:22:48So I do eventually I just gave up and these days I This is what
- 1:22:54I wanted to talk to you about when you asked the question
- 1:22:56about the upcoming appearances thing.
- 1:22:59No a project, sorry, it's really quickly before we get back into
- 1:23:02the questions about you. I've been scheduling a lot of
- 1:23:06that podcast appearances and trying to do like some sort of
- 1:23:10promo I guess for myself, I think you should do the same as
- 1:23:14well, man, for yourself, trying to appear on other people's
- 1:23:18podcasts or YouTube channels or whatever because it's a great
- 1:23:20way to reach out and Promote yourself without actually just
- 1:23:27doing the regular, like, publish promote into your own audience
- 1:23:30and stuff, you know, like it's a good way to Showcase yourself.
- 1:23:34I think and challenge yourself and that's what I'm doing now.
- 1:23:38But I've given up on the trying to get shoutouts thing.
- 1:23:40It's just so hard to do that and plus getting a shadow can like
- 1:23:45completely ruin the channel because also surely, it's a good
- 1:23:51thing. Yeah, but if you don't get the
- 1:23:53Right audience, it, you know, you need to the person who
- 1:23:59shutting you out needs to make the same kind of content as you.
- 1:24:03So that's why people who actually subscribe or interested
- 1:24:07in that kind of thing. Because let's say it's the most
- 1:24:12the, the most common thing that you do is like Vlogs storytime
- 1:24:16and podcast will know the museum where they're going to show
- 1:24:20musics. The big thing.
- 1:24:22Okay. Music then.
- 1:24:23So let's say a gaming channel gives you a shout-out.
- 1:24:28I mean, unless be not. I've got, I've got a gaming
- 1:24:30think. I've got a gaming channel of,
- 1:24:33you know. So in theory, they could just
- 1:24:35subscribe to that, you know, I love that, that's the thing
- 1:24:37about me. I'm a variety channel so there's
- 1:24:39a lot of different options. So I kind of appeal to all
- 1:24:42different audiences by. I take your point, you're right.
- 1:24:45If, if the, if it's the different audience than then,
- 1:24:48yes, they're going to work. But then again not people if
- 1:24:50they really do not your and they just won't subscribe, doesn't
- 1:24:53matter if someone's given you a shower, you know what I mean?
- 1:24:56I mean, don't forget a lot of the time when KSI gives people
- 1:24:59shout outs, like, not the people that just randomly are asking
- 1:25:03for other people. Like there was that guy Tom stop
- 1:25:06doing things for the yes. But the point is that they're
- 1:25:13different from what he's doing. To some extent.
- 1:25:16So like Tom Stockdale and he's a musician.
- 1:25:19Care sighs, a musician as well, but like it is different
- 1:25:22content, different audience. Like, when people come to the
- 1:25:26KSI Channel, mostly they come in there for a laugh or not.
- 1:25:30KSI Chad, the second Channel. They come in there for a laugh.
- 1:25:34They come in there to have fun, right.
- 1:25:36Whereas Tom Stockdale stuff like it's I'm not saying it's not fun
- 1:25:39but it's like he's trying to make something of his music and
- 1:25:43I mean Any news of been of the people that ksi's shout it out
- 1:25:49the again, do very vastly Delight, there's a guy.
- 1:25:52He shouted out recently who he's really helped a guy who does
- 1:25:57like paradise, I guess parody video a common boy's name is but
- 1:26:01he does like how to be here. So I had to be such and such
- 1:26:05person and they're really good videos.
- 1:26:07I very good quality but it's nothing like anything that JJ's
- 1:26:11done. I think maybe maybe back in the
- 1:26:13day he did stuff like that but yeah well Glad you did Balaji.
- 1:26:17Balaji day Olatunji, you go. Do it will let you date.
- 1:26:21Although some G Jr. Is he a junior, huh?
- 1:26:25Yeah, that's called a few days. Well, I didn't know that and
- 1:26:28something needed. What do you like about living
- 1:26:34up? To me asking question and you
- 1:26:38interrupted me Gingka? I mean, we don't know.
- 1:26:43We don't have to ask ask any more questions about you if we
- 1:26:46want to end, it just now. I mean, oh you can.
- 1:26:52What do you like do never call me that.
- 1:26:56We'll never boy. You kidding me, respect your
- 1:26:59elders, mr. Okay.
- 1:27:02What do you like about living in the Netherlands?
- 1:27:06the culture mostly, I'm just everything about like it's a
- 1:27:11beautiful place, it really is. I urge anyone to at least visit
- 1:27:17The Netherlands. Because not only is it a nice
- 1:27:22place, but the people about most of the, people are quite nice.
- 1:27:28Right? But I wouldn't, I wouldn't say
- 1:27:32go to Amsterdam milk, because everybody who goes to the
- 1:27:35Netherlands, goes down to them. Well yeah, go to Amsterdam but
- 1:27:41don't make that like the point of your trip, like don't just go
- 1:27:45to apps that I'm going to stay in Amsterdam because that's only
- 1:27:48like half what the Netherlands is.
- 1:27:50That's the urban side of it where I live.
- 1:27:53It's pretty much a rule. So I mean I think you can set up
- 1:27:58a most European cities though to be fair.
- 1:28:01Yeah, I'd say the same about Talon about Estonia.
- 1:28:04I thought if you just go to Thailand a new view, Haven't
- 1:28:07seen Estonia at all. You've just seen Talon because
- 1:28:11Estonia is not Talan. Talan just Fightin and I'm
- 1:28:15Saddam is not the right? Yeah.
- 1:28:17Yeah, it's not all it has to offer.
- 1:28:19I've heard the same about the Czech Republic as well.
- 1:28:22Anyways because also and then Germany comparing comparing
- 1:28:28where I used to live in England, which was very herb.
- 1:28:32Yeah, even comparing that to this, which is very rural.
- 1:28:36Have to say, aye. I like living.
- 1:28:41Early in the country. So what do you dislike about the
- 1:28:48Netherlands? Oh, what about this?
- 1:28:51Like, um, The Holland. It's gonna be.
- 1:28:56It's gonna go. Yeah.
- 1:29:01Yeah, the kids where I live is like I said, very rural and to
- 1:29:06get to one of the biggest cities, it's like 20 minutes,
- 1:29:10half an hour, still, not that bad, 20 minutes, I don't know.
- 1:29:14So I leave, I leave the house at 8:05 mostly 8:30 and I get the
- 1:29:21school at about Quantum, nine. Have asked us know that long.
- 1:29:26Let's yeah. But every single day it's just
- 1:29:29you know dude try an hour and a half like 45 minutes, 45 minutes
- 1:29:36and it's cool. And then like five minutes to
- 1:29:39get home, but yeah, I get what you mean, I get what you mean,
- 1:29:42that's fair enough, I enjoy, I enjoy the traveling, but on some
- 1:29:46days where I don't really, I'm not really in the mood for
- 1:29:48travel and its really enjoyable. But you've got to do because You
- 1:29:53know, I can't just not go to school and especially in the
- 1:29:56Netherlands. You will get screwed.
- 1:29:59Would you mean you'll get screwed?
- 1:30:02I'm pretty sure if you don't if you if you're late or don't show
- 1:30:06up to school like three times for no reason, you'll get a
- 1:30:12visit from the appropriate authorities, but hit, I'm sorry.
- 1:30:17I'm confused because you finished actual school.
- 1:30:20You're in essentially a going to college.
- 1:30:24No, I'm not in college. ER, it's called Norville
- 1:30:27Collision but it's not a college.
- 1:30:28It's okay. Okay, to learn Dutch.
- 1:30:31All right. Yeah, I understand that.
- 1:30:33But here's here's what, here's what I do, not understand, okay?
- 1:30:37In the UK between the ages of 16 to 18, which is where you fall
- 1:30:41now, right? Yeah.
- 1:30:43The law states that you have to basically go to some form of a
- 1:30:47college or some vocational training for at least a year
- 1:30:52before you can then start working, right?
- 1:30:53That's the law. Yeah.
- 1:30:55Okay. I'm not a resident.
- 1:30:58I'm not Dutch and the greater London.
- 1:31:01I'm a foreigner. Yeah, I understand things kind
- 1:31:04of rules. You have to learn Dutch because
- 1:31:07now I get that but I just find it interesting that you're kind
- 1:31:12of governed in such a manner at that age.
- 1:31:18Okay, how can I explain this properly?
- 1:31:21Would you like, would you like me to lay it out?
- 1:31:23No, no. I understand like, let me
- 1:31:25explain what I need to explain first, right?
- 1:31:27So when you're in the UK up to the age of 16, right?
- 1:31:31It's the law that you have to then basically, what's up?
- 1:31:49Okay. Okay.
- 1:31:53Just talk to some night news from my trusted assistant.
- 1:31:58You go from the absolute latest recording time for this podcast
- 1:32:04is 4:00 because Germany is going into lockdown and there's some
- 1:32:07things we need before they close the gate, interesting?
- 1:32:13Okay, there you go, Germany. Back underneath Germany.
- 1:32:18Any Germany is shutting its doors to everything.
- 1:32:23Netherlands and Belgium as well. Oh you guys going into full
- 1:32:27lockdown to? That's interesting.
- 1:32:29Sorry Arnold. Sorry.
- 1:32:34Well, I meant to say, was the Netherlands and Belgium on no
- 1:32:37longer allowed in Germany. Wow.
- 1:32:39Unless unless you work that so Yeah, fair enough.
- 1:32:49No more, no more, no more Germany.
- 1:32:51Okay, bring it back to what I was talking about.
- 1:32:53Anyway, so up to the age of 16. Basically, your parents are
- 1:33:00responsible for you going to school.
- 1:33:02Therefore, the law will become involved, and potentially your
- 1:33:05parents will be prosecuted if you do not go to school.
- 1:33:08However, after you finish school, which you have, let 16,
- 1:33:14you you finished high school. You finished school in the UK.
- 1:33:19Yeah, I finished. Secondary School right.
- 1:33:21There you go, right? And this is my little College.
- 1:33:24Yeah. Yes.
- 1:33:25If you were still in the okay, you're just Read annoying me
- 1:33:28here. If you are not annoying you are
- 1:33:31because first of all you keep interrupting.
- 1:33:33You keep interrupting me which is just rude.
- 1:33:36And secondly Let me just finish what I need to say.
- 1:33:40Okay, she finished school at 16. If you were still in the UK, you
- 1:33:45would have at least a year where you would legally have to study
- 1:33:48something, but because you've moved to the Netherlands,
- 1:33:51obviously, that does not apply to you.
- 1:33:53Now, you've told me that as a foreigner, there is an
- 1:33:56expectation placed upon you by law that correct.
- 1:34:01Okay. That you have to do this.
- 1:34:02So regardless of your age, if it was 1630, you would still have
- 1:34:05to do this. Well, it's not so much you have
- 1:34:09to do this. It's just It is, it's if you
- 1:34:14don't do it, you're pretty stupid.
- 1:34:16Why would you not tell us not? If you're living in the
- 1:34:18Netherlands? Well, I mean, there's a lot of
- 1:34:20people that go to other countries that huge when you
- 1:34:24enroll in a school. That's cool.
- 1:34:27Expects you to show up on time to do what you're supposed to
- 1:34:32do. Hmm, until leave within the
- 1:34:36time. So I need to go to school and
- 1:34:39need to be at school on time. You go home.
- 1:34:43Not earlier than schools finish. It's basically the same as going
- 1:34:49to work. You go you show up to work on
- 1:34:51time. You leave on time don't leave
- 1:34:54earlier. You don't get there later and if
- 1:34:57you if you don't show up for a given reason if you don't notify
- 1:35:03the school of you being of you being absent for a reason, If
- 1:35:09you don't do that, I think it's three times.
- 1:35:13You will be visited by either. I don't like the police or
- 1:35:16something. I, yeah, I just find that
- 1:35:18element interesting. That, that to me is very
- 1:35:21interesting that you'll find even though you're of legal age,
- 1:35:23I guess it's just different in the Netherlands because I think
- 1:35:25in the UK, you wouldn't get fined or because I'm going to
- 1:35:29school. Okay, you need to either have a
- 1:35:34job or be in school at my age. If you're not, if you're not
- 1:35:40doing either, Then that sort of lies that sort of lies within
- 1:35:47like breaking the law, because you're required by law to be at
- 1:35:51school, or to have a job at my age.
- 1:35:55Interesting, when do you turn, when do you turn 17 10th of
- 1:36:00February in for February? Wow,
- 1:36:16okay, so if you haven't attended school or had a job between 16
- 1:36:22and 18 and you don't have a job from 18, the government will not
- 1:36:27pay you Learning something new, fair enough.
- 1:36:32So I guess what I'm trying to say is stay in school, get a
- 1:36:39job, stop being childish. Good message.
- 1:36:45What did Dutch people? Think of British people?
- 1:36:49What the Dutch people think of British people.
- 1:36:51Hmm. They like us, we helped save
- 1:36:58them from Germany, okay? And this actually reminds me of
- 1:37:03something that happened at school.
- 1:37:04This week. There was some Dutch girls
- 1:37:07coming to our school, to go to the gym because the vmb.
- 1:37:12Oh, that's near our school doesn't have its own gym.
- 1:37:14How are you? You are you are boys.
- 1:37:16Only College them or something? No we're not a boys-only
- 1:37:19college. It's by sorry, it's unisex.
- 1:37:24Okay. It's obviously too cold for them
- 1:37:27to spot outside, so they use our gymnasium that's on our, on our
- 1:37:32grounds. It's a different School than
- 1:37:34basically. It's it's sort of in the same
- 1:37:39car park, but one is like, it's a s car which is, I've
- 1:37:47completely forgot what that means.
- 1:37:48But it's a, it's a language school.
- 1:37:51Okay? And the VM deal is where the
- 1:37:54Dutch resident kids, go, okay, mostly.
- 1:38:00And I was talking to my friend, No speaking English.
- 1:38:05And one of the girls said, asked me if I was English.
- 1:38:09Yeah, yeah. And then, they just both they
- 1:38:12all start. Oh.
- 1:38:14So I guess it's kind of weird. For an English person to be in
- 1:38:20the Netherlands, but that's interesting.
- 1:38:23Yeah, overall I think the impression that the British
- 1:38:26people have on The Duchess positive, I actually add to this
- 1:38:30as well. I kind of feel like it depends
- 1:38:32on who you talk to because a lot of people when I was in Estonia
- 1:38:35kind of you know, didn't bat an eyelid, it was like your
- 1:38:38Foreigner. Yeah, whatever.
- 1:38:40Right. But there were some people that
- 1:38:42were like your English and your here.
- 1:38:46Like there were a lot of people there.
- 1:38:47Yeah. Seriously though I love hey, you
- 1:38:49hear. Ya know.
- 1:38:50There were a lot of people that kind of were like, why would you
- 1:38:52not be in the UK? It's better there and I think
- 1:38:55it's relative, it really depends on what you need.
- 1:38:58Like I think I would agree with them as far as like Services a
- 1:39:02concern. Like the welfare state stuff
- 1:39:03like that. But as far as that quality of
- 1:39:05life and living is concerned, I think it really depends on the
- 1:39:09situation. You're in your employment.
- 1:39:12You need to be doing something. It's hot.
- 1:39:15It's like, it's like a reputation thing for the
- 1:39:17Netherlands. You have to be Doing something
- 1:39:19you have to be benefiting the country and at least a certain
- 1:39:23way. I think that's fair.
- 1:39:25Yeah, you got a bunch of you living here, completely
- 1:39:27unemployed. Yeah, you have to you have to be
- 1:39:30a productive member of society. That's knows what not.
- 1:39:33But I would not be surprised if like like like that lets say I
- 1:39:38dropped out of school. I didn't get a job.
- 1:39:41I didn't do it. I would not be surprised if they
- 1:39:42deported me. I would.
- 1:39:44Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all.
- 1:39:46How long did you how does it work for your Visa?
- 1:39:50Like in like how long do you have?
- 1:39:53Yeah, me and my dad have something called this easy.
- 1:39:59Each pass, okay? Seaside sword pass that sort of
- 1:40:03like grants us residents here. I suppose indefinite then can
- 1:40:09you explain in that case? Is that is health insurance but
- 1:40:15what keeps us here? White.
- 1:40:19How will we allowed to be here? Okay, so we have a residence
- 1:40:37permit but that's only because of brexit before brexit, we
- 1:40:42didn't need anything to like Allow our being here, okay?
- 1:40:49So it sounds similar to what you have in the, in Estonia, in the
- 1:40:52sense that presumably you have the residence permit for a
- 1:40:56number of years or months and you have to continuously renew
- 1:40:59it. So every time the government
- 1:41:00will look at your situation and will decide whether or not
- 1:41:03they're going to continue to grunt you residents.
- 1:41:07Yeah. So are we are we granted
- 1:41:09residence like Yoli or Okay.
- 1:41:25So, because my dad's lived here for longer than five years.
- 1:41:28Mmm, we got it pretty much immediately.
- 1:41:31And, I mean, I did too, because obviously my dad some, but yeah,
- 1:41:39it gets like renewed every five years.
- 1:41:42Yeah. So case they just sort of decide
- 1:41:45about how because my dad works in Germany.
- 1:41:49But yeah, girl. So I'll see how is he going to
- 1:41:55work with if there's a lockdown in Germany?
- 1:41:57Then is he going to do it remotely?
- 1:41:59No, you can. You can work in Germany Kyle.
- 1:42:02So they'll still let your lab in Germany to work.
- 1:42:04Yeah. Okay.
- 1:42:05It's interesting. He's okay.
- 1:42:09Okay. Moving it Forward.
- 1:42:10What do you think of your biggest strengths?
- 1:42:15My strengths. Yeah, in terms of, in terms of
- 1:42:18what just in general, in life, in life, I know it's a
- 1:42:26difficult, very I'd say one of my most notable positives is I
- 1:42:33say what I'm thinking? Yeah, it's not, it's not handy
- 1:42:36and every scenario but If I don't like something, I'll say
- 1:42:41it. I want to just I will be like
- 1:42:44pushed around if that makes sense.
- 1:42:46Mmm, if I don't like something else, say something about it.
- 1:42:50Laughing up. Got that from my dad.
- 1:42:52I think because he's very down-to-earth as well.
- 1:42:55Hmm. What if you if you don't again,
- 1:42:58this is some advice if you don't like something not saying
- 1:43:02anything about it won't help anyone.
- 1:43:05Yeah, of course you're completely, right?
- 1:43:09The only way to change something, is to say something,
- 1:43:12you hit that Ranger. What do you think your biggest
- 1:43:15weaknesses? My biggest weaknesses?
- 1:43:20I can I have the attention span of a goldfish.
- 1:43:24Are you telling me? You're saying that but I'm
- 1:43:28sitting here, right? This podcast has been going on.
- 1:43:33What? Like, two hours now.
- 1:43:36It's it's, it's 20. It's 2:35 where I am.
- 1:43:40You started this at about 20 to 22 one.
- 1:43:43Something I've been sitting here talking and answering questions
- 1:43:47and asking questions. So, yeah, I mean, my biggest
- 1:43:53weakness is I'm just joking by the way.
- 1:43:59But seriously, one of my biggest problems is concentration and
- 1:44:05focus. Then luck.
- 1:44:07They're off. I can be tricky.
- 1:44:09Sometimes I gather, what would you consider your main goal to
- 1:44:13be in life? My main goal in life is to make
- 1:44:17something of myself. Fair enough.
- 1:44:22Don't do anything stupid, don't forgot.
- 1:44:26Don't screw up school. Yeah.
- 1:44:30That's got to be one of my biggest.
- 1:44:32Things that I need to do one of the hardest tasks that I'm gonna
- 1:44:35have to you know overcome but to actually be something in life.
- 1:44:41I get that man. Fair enough Fair it's good that
- 1:44:44you have that motivation and ambition in life.
- 1:44:46I think that's I can only ever be a positive thing and I think
- 1:44:50it's important that we all have that, you know, we need to have
- 1:44:53goals ambition in life and have something that I'm working
- 1:44:56towards time only countdown. You don't get any other time.
- 1:45:02True to make the most of what time you have because you can't
- 1:45:08tell the future you could. I mean you are, I could not be
- 1:45:13here in a week's time. You're just making that was very
- 1:45:20how do you say no? You're right.
- 1:45:23You're speaking truth. Hold on to that was that was
- 1:45:25very blunt but you're completely, right?
- 1:45:27I couldn't agree more with that. Absolutely.
- 1:45:29Just don't, I mean, I'm guilty of it.
- 1:45:32For sure, but don't waste time. Okay, we're done with our
- 1:45:39Stills. Thank you very much for that.
- 1:45:41I was awesome. Let's move it forward.
- 1:45:45So I have written down here. That segment three is a general
- 1:45:48Q&A, but you to expected circumstances, we don't have any
- 1:45:55questions that Tunes. Actually, you know what?
- 1:46:02God, I hate to do this to you and hate to put you on the spot.
- 1:46:06No. Okay.
- 1:46:07We literally have no questions. There's nothing.
- 1:46:11There's nothing funny things. No, I know, I expected that.
- 1:46:14And to be fair, I think that I'm happy that we were still, it's
- 1:46:18still able to do a show today in general.
- 1:46:20I know, I knew, I knew we would be fine.
- 1:46:22I just kind of hoped that maybe we'd get a contribution
- 1:46:26something. Yeah.
- 1:46:29But, you know, it is what it is. You move on.
- 1:46:31You, you make. S2 things, you call inaudible.
- 1:46:34They one day we'll have a Q&A and we'll have like tens of
- 1:46:37thousands. Absolutely.
- 1:46:38Yeah I don't doubt it's possible but yeah let's move it forward.
- 1:46:42What else do you have in store segment for has been written
- 1:46:46down as the best moments of the podcast so far?
- 1:46:50So these can be your most favorable favorable moments the
- 1:46:55most There's I mean, there's three that stick out for me in
- 1:47:00moments if you want this three weeks to cut me.
- 1:47:05Miss 33 in particular that stick out for me.
- 1:47:10I think the big the biggest one for me was episode 10 when I got
- 1:47:15to interview this Estonian musician called Martin good and
- 1:47:19gas because he's a real hero of mine.
- 1:47:23I absolutely adore his music. I think it's amazing.
- 1:47:29And I mean okay yeah he might not be like an International
- 1:47:31Celebrity in Estonia. He's a big deal.
- 1:47:33He's like one of the best musicians in the country and
- 1:47:37he's a celebrity there. You know what I mean?
- 1:47:38And I don't doubt that one day, those that band they're called
- 1:47:42Miller did they're going to be big around the world, I'm
- 1:47:45calling it now. I honestly believe that they're
- 1:47:47there, it's not just them as well.
- 1:47:48There's a lot of other talented musicians, in Estonia, but I
- 1:47:52really feel like he's got something and that they'll go
- 1:47:56far and it was a really big deal.
- 1:47:59To have them have him, sorry on the show and so early on as well
- 1:48:05episode 10. I didn't think it was going to
- 1:48:08happen. I reached out to him, I always
- 1:48:11reach out to people. I'm always bold with this.
- 1:48:14I'm always trying to reach out to anyone that might want to be
- 1:48:18on the show even if there's like, no chance in hell that
- 1:48:20they'll want to. But, you know, you got to try
- 1:48:23and mostly I get ghosted by people.
- 1:48:25People just never reply or anything, but he did reply.
- 1:48:29By which I was amazed by and he was like, yeah, I'll get back to
- 1:48:34you and I was like, oh my God. And then nothing happened for
- 1:48:36like a week or week and a half and then I just lost hope.
- 1:48:39And then randomly he just messaged me.
- 1:48:42I know where he was. Like, yeah, I mean, I've got
- 1:48:44some time and I was like, hmm. And like I just just ran around,
- 1:48:48scrambling trying to get everything sorted and then we
- 1:48:51did the podcast and it went really well.
- 1:48:55I think he was impressed by the professionalism and the research
- 1:48:58that I done. I really had to remain calm the
- 1:49:03whole time, because I was wigging out, I was like, oh my
- 1:49:05God. Oh my God, oh my God, this is
- 1:49:07amazing. But I kept it together and we
- 1:49:10did the podcast, and I think it turned out really well, and I'm
- 1:49:12proud of it. Other podcasts I'm proud of.
- 1:49:17I mean, I'm proud of all of them.
- 1:49:19If I'm honest. They're all really, really good.
- 1:49:22Yeah, my answer would be for the best moments of the podcast so
- 1:49:25far. I know it's not really very
- 1:49:29specific but I've just enjoyed my time being part of the
- 1:49:35podcast, like there's no moments where I notably went.
- 1:49:40That's, that's great. Yeah.
- 1:49:42Because every minute, every hour that I've been on a podcast on
- 1:49:48this one, cast his been memorable because either the
- 1:49:53been some really funny moments that have happened like yeah.
- 1:49:57Like literally couldn't stop laughing or don't start.
- 1:50:05Yeah, right notion touching moment.
- 1:50:10We're having a touching moment right now?
- 1:50:12Or yeah, or touching moments, but I've just got to say I've
- 1:50:16just enjoyed my time on the podcast and here's two More
- 1:50:21moments of the podcast where we can make memories and enjoy what
- 1:50:26we've done. No, I appreciate you being a
- 1:50:30part of it, man, I wouldn't have reached out to you.
- 1:50:32If I didn't think, you know, because I'll be honest, I'd took
- 1:50:36a chance on you. I thought, you know, because
- 1:50:38you're not the only guest I've had on regular that I've had
- 1:50:41chemistry with right. But I knew that we're very
- 1:50:44similar minded in many ways I'm very impressed by how motivated
- 1:50:49you are at such Young age. I think that's what impresses me
- 1:50:53the most and you know, I mean this isn't like a big deal in
- 1:50:57the sense that, you know, I'm not some like big YouTube, a big
- 1:50:59success so but like I feel, I thought if nothing else you'd
- 1:51:03enjoy it and we'd have fun and I think that always happens.
- 1:51:07So that's good. You know, and I enjoy working on
- 1:51:09projects with you, to be honest, you know?
- 1:51:11Like when you sent me your stuff through for the chase, for
- 1:51:13example, I was really impressed, you know?
- 1:51:16I mean, you put effort into it, it was good and I've produced It
- 1:51:20into something that I'm proud of as well.
- 1:51:22So, I like that. I like that your professional.
- 1:51:25And you treat it seriously. And, you know, obviously we have
- 1:51:28a laugh, we have fun, but you still take it seriously.
- 1:51:31And I think that that's something that means a lot to
- 1:51:33me. So that's why I reached out to
- 1:51:35you and stuff. And yeah, man.
- 1:51:37Too many more episodes are the strongest part of what makes,
- 1:51:42what makes us such a good pair, isn't some great our like
- 1:51:47like-minded chemistry. Yeah, right.
- 1:51:49Yeah we can. Can have our, you know, a little
- 1:51:52funny moments and funny clips that we make like the divorce.
- 1:51:58I don't know how. I don't know how that's funny.
- 1:51:59That's actually heartbreaking but this wench don't call me a
- 1:52:05wench. I'm bringing it.
- 1:52:08But yeah we can we can also come away from the funniness and go
- 1:52:15back on topic. It's just we're very like-minded
- 1:52:19and as easy easy peasy to to make a podcast for someone who
- 1:52:25someone who you have such good chemistry with.
- 1:52:29So yeah, I guess it's just easy to do making the podcast but if
- 1:52:34I was with someone else I don't think it would be as it's just
- 1:52:37different different chemistry in it.
- 1:52:39I mean yeah. Some people you click with some
- 1:52:41people, you don't? It's just, that's just that's
- 1:52:42it, that's chemistry. Yeah.
- 1:52:45I also really enjoyed gone. What's going on?
- 1:52:51You said something. My dad's chiming in, with one of
- 1:52:56his jokes, it's nice that we're back together.
- 1:52:59I mean, it's a trial separation separation at this point, I'm
- 1:53:07working on getting a restraining order.
- 1:53:09Good. I'll keep you as far away as
- 1:53:13possible from my assets, that works for me very well.
- 1:53:16Well, that's the other thing I didn't tell you about.
- 1:53:25Never did have to have the shits, Mandy way back to see the
- 1:53:29schedule handu head for the house back back to the point.
- 1:53:33So yeah, my other favorite podcast moments probably
- 1:53:37includes. I really enjoyed when I had John
- 1:53:42John Lannan on the podcast and John John Lannan and he he was
- 1:53:49he was great because he shared some stuff that I wasn't
- 1:53:51expecting him to share some like really deep stuff.
- 1:53:55And that was like, wow, okay. That it kind of he you could
- 1:54:01tell. It's not stuff that he normally
- 1:54:02shares but it was a big deal for me to have something like that,
- 1:54:05you know, especially from from a very funny, kind of chirpy
- 1:54:09chappie Lala positive guy, he was showing some very serious
- 1:54:11and I thought, wow, like thank you so much.
- 1:54:13You know, so that was a really big moment, other times, you
- 1:54:17know, it'll just be little things.
- 1:54:19I like the fact that when I can get a guest on and I can tell
- 1:54:23they're nervous or they're not, you know, Completely comfortable
- 1:54:27but then I kind of help them open up.
- 1:54:29I always like that that's seems to me like to be a real
- 1:54:32achievement with the podcast and something.
- 1:54:35I always really strive to do with every guest.
- 1:54:37I want to try and get them to feel as comfortable as possible
- 1:54:40and open up as much as possible. So that's a real good.
- 1:54:43Maybe you could find a job that sort of Taylor's to that.
- 1:54:46Now I don't want to put up enough.
- 1:54:48I don't want to do that. I want to do what I'm doing
- 1:54:50right now. For 11:00.
- 1:54:52I decided, I don't want a nine to five job.
- 1:54:55I've done that. I've been there done that got
- 1:54:57the T-shirt. That's not me.
- 1:54:58That's not what I like doing. I'll do it.
- 1:55:00If I have to, I'll do it. If I have to, for to make money,
- 1:55:04you know, but I won't do it because I enjoy it because he'll
- 1:55:07know you've got to gravitate towards what you enjoy in life.
- 1:55:10Otherwise you're just not getting the most out of it.
- 1:55:13Simply? Yeah, but enhance traffic, is
- 1:55:16there anything else? Otherwise Top Cop podcast
- 1:55:19moments I was really cool. Having Emma Hirsch who's the
- 1:55:24owner of? Big leads.
- 1:55:26So free Dance Company in Manchester for me enough.
- 1:55:30That was a challenge for me because it was a business and,
- 1:55:33you know, I'd service products. So I had to kind of obviously
- 1:55:37treated professionally as always normally would, but I had to
- 1:55:42think about like, how can I best put over her business and still
- 1:55:45kind of have this makes sense within the context of what I
- 1:55:48normally do and it worked. And I've got other people that
- 1:55:52are going to appear on the podcast in the future that have
- 1:55:54businesses as well. Also we're evolving, we're doing
- 1:55:57different things and I like the fact that the podcast can kind
- 1:56:00of, you know, you can have yeah, you can have more fun guests
- 1:56:05where it's just having a laugh. You can have really serious
- 1:56:07guests whatever like that it caters to all or not.
- 1:56:10I like that. That's what something I'm really
- 1:56:12trying to achieve for the podcast and it's happened, very
- 1:56:14organically, your podcast is very diversity, friendly.
- 1:56:20I thought I would think so. I tried to be tuned and I mean,
- 1:56:24I would never want to Would anyone?
- 1:56:26That's for sure? I always try to kind of, think
- 1:56:29about like, what can people relate to, you know what I mean?
- 1:56:33Because he's different reminded me of my old schools model
- 1:56:36Beyond. It was unaware.
- 1:56:38It was on our jumpers and on the sort of shoulders of our shirts,
- 1:56:44value, diversity and strive for excellence.
- 1:56:49Value diversity strive for excellence.
- 1:56:51I mean, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:56:53I mean, look the I always want my podcast to be for everyone,
- 1:56:57you know, it's not intended for any specific person or people
- 1:57:01it's for everyone, you know, obviously anyone can appear
- 1:57:05anymore can watch. Yeah, well no, I mean that tell
- 1:57:08you don't get me wrong. Like, when it comes to anyone
- 1:57:10can appear like I don't want anyone that's like hateful know
- 1:57:14anything to anyone who's taken it.
- 1:57:15Seriously. Tonight it's all about.
- 1:57:20It's more about having people who aren't hateful, who are you?
- 1:57:26No, no, no, no. That's that's that's what I
- 1:57:28mean. People who are seriously going
- 1:57:30to like Well, that's different fast it on.
- 1:57:36He being serious and professional is different from
- 1:57:38being whether or not you're a hateful person.
- 1:57:40It's a completely different thing.
- 1:57:41No, no. What I mean is a hateful person,
- 1:57:45like let's say he, he says that he wants to come on and like,
- 1:57:49you know, talk about this and that but he comes on.
- 1:57:54And they just completely decides the ruin the podcast.
- 1:58:00Well, that's something entirely different.
- 1:58:02That's again, you're talking about professionalism, that's
- 1:58:05different. What I'm talking about is I'm
- 1:58:07not going to promote like hate or like anything like that my
- 1:58:10podcast. So that's where I would draw the
- 1:58:13line in terms of like, having anyone on the podcast.
- 1:58:16So for example, I've had someone on Greta Murray, who said some
- 1:58:20controversial stuff and it made me think like, I think in the
- 1:58:23future. Really have to think about like
- 1:58:25who I have on here and what they say in stubborn In fairness, you
- 1:58:29know, she let me challenge her. She was reasonable the whole
- 1:58:32time and she never went on like a tire Aid or anything, but she
- 1:58:36said some stuff about, like homosexuality that wasn't cool.
- 1:58:41And I I receive some comments from friends of mine, you know,
- 1:58:45a fellow content creators that will I you should have
- 1:58:47challenged this more and I was like, is that my role?
- 1:58:51Is it not? I guess it is.
- 1:58:52It wasn't a debate that was Posed to be about that
- 1:58:55specifically. But it's an important thing to
- 1:58:57think about we know anything. And it's an important thing to
- 1:59:00think about, you have to think about who you're promoting
- 1:59:03because it's my decision to have her on the podcast.
- 1:59:05So I have to go. Nowadays, it's 2020, almost 20
- 1:59:1221. People can be essentially
- 1:59:16whatever they want to be. I mean, up to an extent, I mean
- 1:59:21with it. But the whole point is that, if
- 1:59:25You have to, if you can be anything you want to be use?
- 1:59:27Yeah, like I, I support people's different views and stuff, but
- 1:59:32there's a difference between supporting people's views,
- 1:59:36however, conflicting, they may be and then just promoting hate
- 1:59:39June. And I mean like you can have an
- 1:59:41opposable thumbs up for your views as though as well.
- 1:59:44Because like you said, yours. Yours and okay.
- 1:59:50Let me, let me make, let me make it really simple for you like
- 1:59:53much easier than what I'm getting at, right?
- 1:59:55If someone is just whatever. If someone is hateful, if
- 1:59:59someone says like X, the next thing about, I don't know whose
- 2:00:03sexuality or race or something like that.
- 2:00:07Then as a society, we collectively decide like, you
- 2:00:11know, we do not support this, we do not like this.
- 2:00:15So, I'm not going to, I'm not going to have people like that
- 2:00:17on my show for that reason, Jen. And I mean, like, I think about
- 2:00:21that more more and more. Now, you know, that happened
- 2:00:25Wilson, open-minded people. Yeah, I tried, I mean, but
- 2:00:29that's, that's what I'm trying to say.
- 2:00:30Like I I'm for having anyone on the show, but I'm against
- 2:00:34promoting anything hateful at all, in any shape of it.
- 2:00:37Like, if I had something like that happen, I just wouldn't
- 2:00:40have it on the show in future. You know, I learnt from that
- 2:00:43Greta Murray. And that's the main thing.
- 2:00:46I learned like, even though she wasn't like a hateful person,
- 2:00:49she said that one thing that You know, I go back and forth on
- 2:00:54because like, it's part of her religion to stand now.
- 2:00:58Oh, we're fine, obviously. But like she said, that thing in
- 2:01:02the context of that, what she believes with her religion, and
- 2:01:06that's why I didn't challenge it like hugely.
- 2:01:09And because it wasn't a debate on, like homosexuality was a
- 2:01:12debate. It wasn't even a debate.
- 2:01:13It was just a small section of a long interview.
- 2:01:16We just happened to be talking about her beliefs, like I asked
- 2:01:19her about her beliefs and that was one thing.
- 2:01:21She chose to Say, you know, should I have kept out, maybe
- 2:01:27maybe not, you know, I mean there's lots of questions raised
- 2:01:29but now moving forward, I'm going to be a lot more careful
- 2:01:32and it comes to feel like I feel like you shouldn't, you
- 2:01:34shouldn't clip it out because that's her believe she decided
- 2:01:37to say that she decided to open up about that.
- 2:01:39It's hang of it, don't forget, I got I got a YouTube hit me out.
- 2:01:45Like I got a clip banned from YouTube for the same reason.
- 2:01:50Hmm. Okay.
- 2:01:51Well in that case, So if it's going to conflict against
- 2:01:54YouTube's terms of service, then you've got a, you've got to take
- 2:01:57appropriate action. It's not like you've got to,
- 2:02:01you've got to let people say what they think, but then you
- 2:02:04sort of have to tell them. Look what you just said, it goes
- 2:02:08against. You should rules.
- 2:02:09And therefore we I mean I heard I heard your point of view and
- 2:02:16you've been you've been heard But I can't upload that part of
- 2:02:22the podcast. Because, yeah, and this is, this
- 2:02:24is why I don't like, because it's like, it's censorship which
- 2:02:28is something I'm against, but at the same time, it's like,
- 2:02:32promoting hate is what this is. I've spoken about this before
- 2:02:34and I don't want to get into a massive discretion about this.
- 2:02:36Now we can save that for the rock and a hard place, really,
- 2:02:41we can save it to do it as a topic one day, but like the
- 2:02:45small thing I'll say about it, especially because the next
- 2:02:47segment is Final segment is the future of the podcast.
- 2:02:50Moving forward, I won't be having similar guests on where
- 2:02:56they have these kind of views because it's like, if I have
- 2:03:00them on the show it's like I'm supporting that, you know?
- 2:03:02I mean it's I don't support that personally, you know, I mean,
- 2:03:05it's such it's so difficult because it is it is bad but
- 2:03:11Center and people's views religious or not?
- 2:03:14Is that is that worse? I think yes or no because you
- 2:03:18got to look at What the collective Society thinks and
- 2:03:20feels like, if we as a society. Like, for instance, we're all
- 2:03:24against like, Nazis, for example, why we don't support
- 2:03:26that. If someone says, I support
- 2:03:27Nancy's, then you don't support them.
- 2:03:28And I put it in the same category, it's like hate.
- 2:03:31It's, it's deliberate. Like there are many, for
- 2:03:34instance, there are many Christians that, you know,
- 2:03:37support homosexuality, or believe in it, or whatever or
- 2:03:41are homosexual agenda mean. Like so I don't think it's not a
- 2:03:45generic thing that all Christians are like that.
- 2:03:48It's it's a personal belief, as a personal choice, kind of
- 2:03:52thing, and it's up to the individual person, how they
- 2:03:55think and feel. But like, most people tend to
- 2:03:57have degree, tend to agree that it's like hateful to think in
- 2:04:00that manner. So, and that's kind of where I
- 2:04:03sit on as well as. Like I look at like, what's
- 2:04:06hateful? And what's just someone, having
- 2:04:09an opinion on something, you know?
- 2:04:10I mean because there is a difference, you can't, you can't
- 2:04:14censor them but you have to You have to express your beliefs as
- 2:04:20well. Yeah.
- 2:04:21So she says I'm not sure what she said because I can't find
- 2:04:26any. Haven't ya?
- 2:04:28Don't worry that I haven't I haven't seen it.
- 2:04:31I haven't heard it but if like you said it was head towards
- 2:04:36homosexuality. Yes.
- 2:04:39What you had? Well I'm not sure again.
- 2:04:41I'm not sure what you said in terms of what I did the issue
- 2:04:44was that I didn't challenge enough.
- 2:04:45Like I said, like, well I definitely disagree with this.
- 2:04:48Yes, but I'm willing to hear you out.
- 2:04:50That's basically what I said. What.
- 2:04:53Yeah. Okay.
- 2:04:55In that case I myself would have challenged to the bit more.
- 2:05:01Yeah but again we did not completely bowled over.
- 2:05:03Yeah this is the thing. It wasn't a debate it will.
- 2:05:06If it was a debate on that topic then I would have done that but
- 2:05:09because it was with a just full-on head like, yes.
- 2:05:19And no, it was her personal belief.
- 2:05:21Like, I don't want to go into long kind of like conversation
- 2:05:24about this, but like, because we're pressed for time, but it
- 2:05:29was a hateful comment that she said that she believes as part
- 2:05:35of her religion. Okay?
- 2:05:37Now, it wasn't part of a debate, a full-on debate.
- 2:05:41If it were, I would have challenged it more, we would
- 2:05:43have had an actual full on debate about it, right?
- 2:05:47It was a small comment in a large three hour interview where
- 2:05:51we got onto the topic of her religion.
- 2:05:54And the reason that her religion is important is because she's a
- 2:05:56born again, Christian. So that's why it was she didn't
- 2:05:59used to be like that was completely different.
- 2:06:01So, that's why we were talking about that and why I brought it
- 2:06:04up, but I didn't ask her about that.
- 2:06:08I didn't ask her at all. She said, hey, I believe this
- 2:06:11thing. She chose to say.
- 2:06:13Yeah. She's like, hey, I believe this
- 2:06:15thing and I was like, okay, what?
- 2:06:16I You know, disagree with those I said I have like homosexual
- 2:06:20friends but blah, blah blah. I'm completely against this but
- 2:06:25yeah I want to hear why you think the way that you think and
- 2:06:28then she explained it. She didn't say anything like
- 2:06:30hateful past that she explained why she has that thought.
- 2:06:33And I said well and I then I started challenging that if you
- 2:06:36listen to the clip or that segment you hear me challenging
- 2:06:40and finding inaccuracies in what she's saying and then I suppose
- 2:06:47was pretty much a debate at that point and then we just trailed
- 2:06:50off into another topic and that's right.
- 2:06:52I could I could talk about religion for ages but that's not
- 2:06:58what this this ever swords about.
- 2:07:00No, and that's why I want to move on because, you know, we
- 2:07:03can, we can do, we can do this another time.
- 2:07:05But, like the point behind this is that moving forward in the
- 2:07:09future of this podcast, I will always be extra vigilant who I
- 2:07:13have on the show what they say. And if Beyond might click things
- 2:07:18out here and now if I deem it to be like hateful, you've got to
- 2:07:21follow. You've got to follow the terms
- 2:07:23of service at the end of the day.
- 2:07:24Yeah, I don't want to alienate anyone.
- 2:07:26It's not just about YouTube, it's about you know when I had
- 2:07:29people reach out to me that my friends that were saying this it
- 2:07:32made me think like you know it's not it.
- 2:07:36They won't even saying that I was supporting it, they were
- 2:07:39just saying, I should have challenged him more and it made
- 2:07:41me think and that's why I've revised how I think about it in.
- 2:07:45Anyway, let's move on to something.
- 2:07:47Positive, shall we? Yeah, okay.
- 2:07:49So as we spoke about that for ages and I don't want to waste
- 2:07:54any time on, what is a 50th episode is a big deal.
- 2:07:58This doesn't happen every day. So long, I've got a headache.
- 2:08:02Okay, so future looking forward, looking forward, I am going to
- 2:08:09appear more and do contribute more to your episodes and maybe
- 2:08:16even Read my own episodes. For example, let's say I appear
- 2:08:22and we talk about actually no I'm not going to I'm not going
- 2:08:25to say too much because I'm going to give away any future
- 2:08:28topics. But yeah let's say we talked
- 2:08:31about Coffee you never talk about coffee.
- 2:08:37I would lead said podcast. Episode Pusher yeah ask the
- 2:08:43questions. Do the research.
- 2:08:45Yeah I'm happy for the Dynamics of change on those episodes man.
- 2:08:48I mean especially since like I fully take the lead in my
- 2:08:52interview episodes and obviously the solo ones I do, like I'm
- 2:08:55happy for you to take the lead in those.
- 2:08:57I think it offers an interesting Dynamic, it's something a bit
- 2:08:59different, some weight off your shoulders.
- 2:09:03That's true. I don't mind.
- 2:09:05I mean, I'm still going to have to do research regardless
- 2:09:07anyway, so it doesn't really change how much work after
- 2:09:10putting, but yeah, I think it's fun.
- 2:09:12If anything for people listening and watching, I think it would
- 2:09:14be nice to just hear something different, you know, different
- 2:09:17voice, different leader. It's just something different.
- 2:09:20I think that's what I want to offer.
- 2:09:21Moving forward is something different.
- 2:09:23And I also to a to add on to this with these topics that I
- 2:09:31would have originally have just done myself.
- 2:09:33I'm Might still do them myself here and there especially when
- 2:09:36for instance, you're not available.
- 2:09:38But I think for the most part, I want to do them with you because
- 2:09:41it's fun to hear people talk about a topic debate it.
- 2:09:45Whatever the case may be, I find that that's a bit more.
- 2:09:47They have their own views, they can comment as well.
- 2:09:50Yeah. Like if we if we had if we
- 2:09:52disagree massively on coffee, then that would be interesting
- 2:09:54to hear about it. I highly doubt.
- 2:09:57There's many people who disagree on coffee about, I like it.
- 2:10:01I don't like it. That's a good point, yeah, okay.
- 2:10:10What else? I mean, I'm going to continue
- 2:10:14trying to find guests. I've had different opinions on
- 2:10:19how the podcast should be structured.
- 2:10:22You know whether it should be one a week or several week.
- 2:10:25I'm just going to do what I've always done.
- 2:10:27I'm never going to have a specific day.
- 2:10:30It's just going to be as and when I'm going to aim to Try and
- 2:10:33do it every week, but, you know, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't
- 2:10:36happen. But I figured there's so many
- 2:10:38episodes now and there's so many Clips as well, that I'll be
- 2:10:41uploading in the future as well. That's one of the reasons I
- 2:10:44don't upload them all at once. I stagger them and put them out
- 2:10:48as and when because I feel like I've been putting too much out
- 2:10:50in the pot on the channel, not not just podcast stuff, but
- 2:10:53other stuff so I'm starting to slow it down a bit more and
- 2:10:57stagger it and give people a bit of breathing room.
- 2:11:04But I'm still going to like put my foot on the gas pedal and see
- 2:11:07what happens. I'm just going to roll with it,
- 2:11:08basically, whatever happens happens, you know, I'm always
- 2:11:11looking at those subreddits for like podcast guests or I'm
- 2:11:16looking in my networks. People, I meet on social media,
- 2:11:19you know, people are reach out to, as I always say, I'm always
- 2:11:22open to having people on the podcast or even if people just
- 2:11:25want to appear and talk about something with me.
- 2:11:27I'm open to that to, you know, it's supposed to be it's someone
- 2:11:31if someone wanted to appear on the pot.
- 2:11:33Is that would include a reason as to why and what they would
- 2:11:36want to talk about. Yeah, so if they don't want to,
- 2:11:39if it's not like a straight interview that they're trying to
- 2:11:41promote themselves or anything, like if they just simply wanted
- 2:11:44to just talk to me about something, I'd be up for that.
- 2:11:47My why not? It be fun.
- 2:11:49You know, it's I'm game for anything with this.
- 2:11:51I it's for me it's always about making entertaining episodes
- 2:11:55making it interesting each and every week or however often it
- 2:12:00is possible to do it and I want every So to be as good as the
- 2:12:04last, you know, I don't ever let want there to be an episode
- 2:12:07where it's like lackluster or doesn't feel like the effort has
- 2:12:10been put in or, or something like that.
- 2:12:12I would hate for that. I would hate for anyone.
- 2:12:16Yeah, exactly. I want them all to be high
- 2:12:18quality as much as possible. So anyway, is there anything
- 2:12:23else you want to add to that for the future?
- 2:12:25The podcast? Anything hoping, you'll believe.
- 2:12:28So. No.
- 2:12:28Except I'm going to be P, be appearing.
- 2:12:31Hopefully a bit more. Awesome, awesome.
- 2:12:36You can expect to see my face and the Apple.
- 2:12:39The Apple of Truth over there. Any final thoughts, you want to
- 2:12:43lead us with or anything else? No, I've, you know that's
- 2:12:52everything I got here. We got through it.
