- 0:01Speaker 1: Live on Sky News.
- 0:03Speaker 2: This is Sharry Good Evening.
- 0:08Speaker 3: The Albanese government's hypocrisy as it condemns the anti immigration
- 0:12Speaker 3: rallies yet can't express a single criticism for pro Palestinian
- 0:17Speaker 3: protests where.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Terror flags are flown.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Bradman, Bishop and Ray Hadley will be here to get
- 0:23Speaker 3: stuck in Greta Thunberg refuses to condemn her massa she
- 0:26Speaker 3: departs on yet another theatrical aid boat to Gaza. Australian
- 0:31Speaker 3: actor Nate Bars will join me live from Israel. And
- 0:36Speaker 3: our environmentalists risking lives by demanding the removal of sharknets,
- 0:41Speaker 3: and the new South Wales government it seems is giving in.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'll discussed this later on.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Will We have seen some shocking hypocrisy from the Albanese government.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Minister after minister has come out to condemn the anti
- 0:56Speaker 3: immigration rallies on the weekend, yet not one has spoken
- 1:01Speaker 3: against the pro Palestinian marches that have disgraced our streets for.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Nearly two years.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Here was Homer Fairs, Minister, Tony Burke and Ali and others.
- 1:14Speaker 4: We absolutely condemn the March for Australia rally that's going
- 1:19Speaker 4: on today. It is not about increasing social harmony.
- 1:22Speaker 1: They were awful scenes and there were also known racists
- 1:26Speaker 1: who were trying to spread division and hatred.
- 1:29Speaker 5: It's very clear from the conduct that was observed at
- 1:33Speaker 5: these marchers that these marchers were a con by the
- 1:37Speaker 5: far right Neo Nazis.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And Matt Furstlethwaite spoke angrily that a poster of Daisi Freeman,
- 1:46Speaker 3: who allegedly killed two police officers, was not taken down
- 1:51Speaker 3: at one.
- 1:51Speaker 6: Of those protests. Yesterday, someone displayed a poster of the
- 1:56Speaker 6: man who murdered to Victorian police officers in cold blood
- 2:02Speaker 6: last week, and no one, as far as I'm was aware,
- 2:04Speaker 6: told that person to take that poster down or that
- 2:07Speaker 6: they shouldn't be displaying that.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Now, that is a good point, but where have these
- 2:13Speaker 3: same harsh words been when pro Palestinian activists held posters
- 2:18Speaker 3: with swastikas on them, or displayed the Hamas flag, or
- 2:23Speaker 3: stood next to a poster with Iran Supreme leader HARMANI
- 2:27Speaker 3: on it, or even yelled death chance The Albanese government
- 2:52Speaker 3: didn't have a word to say. Then you can't find
- 2:56Speaker 3: a minister willing to criticize a pro Palestinian rally, and
- 3:01Speaker 3: even the Prime minister keeps praising them.
- 3:04Speaker 7: Yesterday's march was peaceful and there's an opportunity for people
- 3:09Speaker 7: to express their concern about what is happening in gaza.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Arta. Hypocrisy.
- 3:18Speaker 3: The Albaneze government can't hold back its outrage over the
- 3:23Speaker 3: anti immigration rallies, yet they haven't uttered a single word
- 3:27Speaker 3: about the pro Palestinian rallies. And it's a point that
- 3:31Speaker 3: James Patterson made sensibly earlier.
- 3:35Speaker 8: These are not the only protests that have occurred in
- 3:37Speaker 8: our country over the last two years that have struck
- 3:39Speaker 8: fear in the hearts of some Australians. Many of the
- 3:41Speaker 8: pro Palestinian protests in this country have been deeply distressing
- 3:45Speaker 8: to the Jewish community in Australia and have featured the
- 3:48Speaker 8: flags and symbols and logos of listed terrorist organizations. I
- 3:52Speaker 8: can't recall on occasion where our government minister preemptively or
- 3:55Speaker 8: even subsequently condemned those protests, even when pictures of the
- 3:59Speaker 8: Aati holocompany were featured prominently at protests like this.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Pauline Hansen attended the Canberra anti immigration protest and she
- 4:09Speaker 3: made a similar point to Patison on Sky News.
- 4:13Speaker 9: Why should we as Australians be shut down, told we
- 4:17Speaker 9: shouldn't tend these things. Yet you allow the Palestini marches
- 4:21Speaker 9: every weekend for the last two years that's been held
- 4:24Speaker 9: on the streets, and they're destructive, they're vicious, and they're
- 4:29Speaker 9: flying their mask flags and terrorist flags and what they're
- 4:32Speaker 9: pushing got nothing to do with the quiet protests that
- 4:37Speaker 9: happened today.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Now what we saw erupted over the weekend, multiple protests
- 4:43Speaker 3: across the country, clashes of ideology is the direct result
- 4:48Speaker 3: of the Albanesi government's weakness and moral depravity. Thousands of Australians,
- 4:54Speaker 3: believing they were marching for a better country, turned out
- 4:58Speaker 3: to protest the pro Palestinian rallies. Terrorist flags are flown,
- 5:02Speaker 3: but never the Australian flag, and on the weekend it
- 5:06Speaker 3: was a sea of Australian flags at our national Anthem
- 5:10Speaker 3: rang out. As was predicted, Neo Nazis gate crashed the
- 5:30Speaker 3: rallies and tried to use the occasion to recruit new
- 5:34Speaker 3: members for their despicable cause.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And it is truly shocking.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It It never ceases to shock me when you see
- 5:42Speaker 3: Neo Nazis brazenly flaunting their brand of extremism. And hatred
- 5:48Speaker 3: on our streets, and one even spoke to the crowd
- 5:51Speaker 3: with a microphone. I'm not going to give him the
- 5:54Speaker 3: satisfaction of naming him by name, but the police didn't
- 5:58Speaker 3: lift a finger. Why is it that the police during
- 6:02Speaker 3: the COVID pandemic were able to make dozens and dozens
- 6:05Speaker 3: of arrests, but now they do nothing. And you'll probably remember,
- 6:10Speaker 3: in one shocking occasion, police threaten to arrest a mother
- 6:14Speaker 3: breastfeeding her baby on a park bench, and in Victoria
- 6:18Speaker 3: police arrested a pregnant woman storming into her home in
- 6:22Speaker 3: ugly scenes. We'll never forget just how tough police were
- 6:27Speaker 3: during the anti COVID protests. So police do have the
- 6:45Speaker 3: ability to crack down on protesters, Yet now police across
- 6:49Speaker 3: the country stand back and watch as the worst elements
- 6:53Speaker 3: of society who are flouting laws by displaying terror symbols
- 6:58Speaker 3: are allowed to march thereats. No arrests of neo Nazis
- 7:03Speaker 3: and no arrests of pro Palestinian activists flaunting swastikas and
- 7:07Speaker 3: terror flags, and instead police then have to waste resources
- 7:11Speaker 3: trying to track them down later literally spending months investigating
- 7:17Speaker 3: the identity of offenders, often to no avail. It's sickening
- 7:22Speaker 3: and there needs to be a change in strategy here
- 7:25Speaker 3: because this lack of action is part of the reason
- 7:28Speaker 3: social cohesion is disintegrating now. It also has to be
- 7:33Speaker 3: said that the vast majority of those protesting yesterday at
- 7:37Speaker 3: the immigration rallies were not neo Nazis, as both Just
- 7:42Speaker 3: Enterprise and even Channel nine reported, the.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Front of the march might have presented one picture, but.
- 7:50Speaker 4: The bulk of those parching today, those coming in from behind,
- 7:54Speaker 4: appeared to be anything but extremist.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I know the vast majority of Australians that are marching
- 8:00Speaker 1: on our streets were marching because they loved this country.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And yes, we have every right just to be concerned
- 8:07Speaker 1: with the levels of immigration into our country does not
- 8:10Speaker 1: mean that you are racist.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And in fact, there was strong support for the Jewish
- 8:16Speaker 3: community and Israel at the protests.
- 8:21Speaker 10: The motivation to be part of the declaration by the
- 8:25Speaker 10: citizens of Australia that they're absolutely opposed to mass migration.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Now a few people have contacted me to speak about
- 8:36Speaker 3: the protests yesterday, and one grandmother wrote to explain why
- 8:41Speaker 3: she took part. She said, as a proud Australian who
- 8:44Speaker 3: participated in the March for Australia yesterday. It's disappointing to
- 8:48Speaker 3: see most of mainstream media focusing on the very small
- 8:52Speaker 3: minority of people who were there for the wrong reasons.
- 8:55Speaker 3: The majority, including myself, are also sickened with the way
- 8:59Speaker 3: our government has treated the Jewish community. And it's true,
- 9:04Speaker 3: most Australians are fed up with nearly two years of
- 9:07Speaker 3: aggressive marches taking over the Sydney and Melbourne CBDs just
- 9:12Speaker 3: about every weekend, making the heart of our cities an
- 9:17Speaker 3: unsafe place for everyone. And do you think that me personally,
- 9:23Speaker 3: as a Jewish Australian could walk through those protests and
- 9:26Speaker 3: escape unscathed when they're chanting that all Zionists and terrorists
- 9:31Speaker 3: and death to the IDF And fine, everyone has a
- 9:35Speaker 3: right to protest, but there's no right to hate speech.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And this is what I wish authorities would crack down on,
- 9:43Speaker 3: because this racism, this hatred, this antisemitism is becoming normalized.
- 9:50Speaker 3: And the protests have already cost eleven million dollars in
- 9:53Speaker 3: taxpayer funds and that's in Sydney alone. Melbourne would be
- 9:57Speaker 3: an equivalent figure. And now they're spreading across the country.
- 10:01Speaker 3: And even this fact alone that taxpayer fund taxpayer funds
- 10:06Speaker 3: are being wasted on these police resources for the protests.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Even this has sparked significant unrest and we saw some
- 10:14Speaker 3: of that expressed yesterday.
- 10:17Speaker 9: We're trying to do a march once they're here every
- 10:21Speaker 9: single weekend.
- 10:23Speaker 10: What's wrong with it?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Go away? You people, leave us.
- 10:27Speaker 9: We want to support our country.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Just a point as well about immigration. Our entire country
- 10:37Speaker 3: is built on immigrants. Apart from indigenous Australians, every single
- 10:42Speaker 3: person in Australia today has family who originally immigrated here.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Our parents or grandparents or great great grandparents made the
- 10:51Speaker 3: wise decision to start a new life in this beautiful
- 10:56Speaker 3: but distant country, no doubt, very difficult thing for them
- 11:01Speaker 3: to do. And our country is incredible in so many ways,
- 11:06Speaker 3: partly because of our history of immigration. Yet there is
- 11:11Speaker 3: an issue. The Albanezy government needs to ensure that everyone
- 11:15Speaker 3: who has given the privilege to live in Australia shares
- 11:19Speaker 3: our common Western values values of equality, freedom, tolerance, empathy, matship,
- 11:27Speaker 3: a fair go and respect for the rule of law,
- 11:32Speaker 3: and that unfortunately hasn't been the case. Instead, in recent
- 11:35Speaker 3: times we've seen communities celebrate death and hatred in shocking
- 11:41Speaker 3: displays like this right after October seven.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm smiling and unhappy.
- 11:49Speaker 11: I'm insted. It's a day of courage.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You can't argue that it isn't a major issue when
- 11:59Speaker 3: there are suburbs and pockets of Australians who celebrate terrorism
- 12:03Speaker 3: openly on our streets. This is a failure of immigration policy.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's why at our Sky News Antisemitism Summit we recommended
- 12:13Speaker 3: changes to the Federal government Migration Act.
- 12:17Speaker 12: Immigration officers must be trained to recognize antisemitism and to
- 12:21Speaker 12: assess whether applicants have promoted antisemitism which would disqualify them
- 12:26Speaker 12: under the character test. This is particularly relevant for those
- 12:29Speaker 12: seeking entry from places with pervasive antisemitic education. The Migration
- 12:35Speaker 12: Act should been forced, or if necessarily, amended, so that
- 12:38Speaker 12: anti semitic conducts grounds to refuse a new visa or
- 12:41Speaker 12: cancel an existing visa.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Our summit was in February, some seven months ago, and
- 12:47Speaker 3: the Albanezi government has not adopted a single one of
- 12:51Speaker 3: our recommendations. The coalition has committed to all of them,
- 12:56Speaker 3: and you only have to look at France and the
- 12:58Speaker 3: UK to see where uncontrolled migration of people who don't
- 13:04Speaker 3: share Western values can lead. Now, I believe we are
- 13:09Speaker 3: all so lucky to call Australia home.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It is a privilege, and we need to.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Make sure our country remains a safe place to live
- 13:18Speaker 3: and doesn't turn into a place where citizens celebrate terrorism
- 13:22Speaker 3: and authorities don't lift a finger. The fact the Albaneze
- 13:26Speaker 3: government hasn't been able to call out activists flying terror
- 13:29Speaker 3: flags is a big part of the problem we now
- 13:32Speaker 3: find ourselves in. Confused leadership is not the answer at
- 13:37Speaker 3: this perilous time in our nation. And I'll come back
- 13:45Speaker 3: to that topic of the protests with Ray Hadley a
- 13:47Speaker 3: bit later see what he.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Has to say about it.
- 13:50Speaker 3: But I want to turn out to the extraordinary scenes
- 13:53Speaker 3: in China where world leaders today arrived, including Russian President
- 13:57Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin, North Korea is Kim John Ung, the Iranian president,
- 14:02Speaker 3: the Turkish President Erdigan, the Indian Prime Minister Neuandra Modi,
- 14:07Speaker 3: among others. Now, let's be very clear, this is a
- 14:11Speaker 3: meeting of anti Western leaders. It's concerning mody is there.
- 14:18Speaker 3: It shows the strength of the Bricks alliance and it's
- 14:21Speaker 3: also a reflection of the Trump tariffs and how Trump
- 14:24Speaker 3: has managed managed the relationship with India. It's concerning too
- 14:28Speaker 3: that the United Nations Chief Antonio Guterrez is there. But
- 14:32Speaker 3: it's even more worrying that two senior Australian labor figures,
- 14:38Speaker 3: former Labor Premiers Daniel Andrews and Bob kar have been
- 14:43Speaker 3: invited to attend. I mean Ka, a former Australian Foreign minister.
- 14:47Speaker 3: He is confirmed that he's going now our regular Tuesday
- 14:52Speaker 3: night paddleist and he'll be on tomorrow. Cameron Milner has
- 14:55Speaker 3: written a sensational piece in The Nightly where he describes
- 14:59Speaker 3: They're a ten t its as self harm at a
- 15:02Speaker 3: Chinese show of force. Cameron writes it's a role call
- 15:06Speaker 3: of leaders of the access of evil in total opposition
- 15:11Speaker 3: to Australia's national interests. The fact neither simply rejected the
- 15:15Speaker 3: invite speaks volumes for their absolute lack of political judgment.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Brilliant article. I recommend you read it and watch the
- 15:25Speaker 3: show tomorrow night when Cameron's on. But now to discuss,
- 15:27Speaker 3: let's bring in former Speaker of the House Brodman Bishop
- 15:30Speaker 3: and Sky.
- 15:30Speaker 2: News host Joe Hildebrandt.
- 15:33Speaker 9: You vote and.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Brown, I think those scenes are really worrying when you
- 15:38Speaker 3: and when you think about the fact that two Australian
- 15:41Speaker 3: figures are going to join that anti Western crowd.
- 15:44Speaker 13: You know this is part of China's propaganda.
- 15:48Speaker 14: Well, this is what has worried me about the Labor
- 15:50Speaker 14: Party all through with regard to its attitude to China.
- 15:55Speaker 14: It's subservient.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I mean, it is cartoying.
- 15:58Speaker 14: And these two people have now their colors to the mast.
- 16:01Speaker 14: And I think Michael Danby was quite right when he
- 16:03Speaker 14: came out and called them and said that it's shocking
- 16:08Speaker 14: that they that they're going there. It is a conference
- 16:12Speaker 14: which is comprised except for Mody, of totalitarian regimes, and Mody,
- 16:20Speaker 14: of course has always had relationships with Russia. But the
- 16:26Speaker 14: importance I think of this being couched in terms of
- 16:31Speaker 14: defeat over Japan. Communists didn't fight in that.
- 16:35Speaker 3: It was the old nationalists rewriting.
- 16:39Speaker 14: Rewriting of history.
- 16:41Speaker 2: But I get very angry.
- 16:42Speaker 14: When Bob Kast called the former foreign minutes. He was
- 16:45Speaker 14: there for five minutes, twenty twelve, twenty thirty and then gone.
- 16:50Speaker 14: He was ten years the premiere of New South Wales
- 16:52Speaker 14: and did nothing except lock up land So and read
- 16:57Speaker 14: books at question time he thought he was intellectually to
- 17:00Speaker 14: everybody else, which he continues to do. I think with
- 17:03Speaker 14: this attitude, so I think we can be ashamed of
- 17:06Speaker 14: both of them, that they are letting our country down
- 17:09Speaker 14: by being subservient to totalitarian regimes.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Indeed, Joe, clearly from looking at the images Putin is
- 17:18Speaker 3: the star.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Of the show again.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I mean, he's currently rejecting a piece deal with Ukraine.
- 17:25Speaker 15: Yeah, I know, yeah, it actually reminds me of I
- 17:27Speaker 15: don't know. I was just having to be watching The
- 17:29Speaker 15: Naked Gun with my son to introduce him to the
- 17:32Speaker 15: new show, watching the original, and Leslie Nielsen's character bursts
- 17:35Speaker 15: in on this sort of pantomime style, cartoonish sort of
- 17:39Speaker 15: rogues gallery of villains and the Asser Arafats. They're sitting
- 17:42Speaker 15: next to Colonel Gaddafi and Mikhail Gorbachev and the Ayatol
- 17:45Speaker 15: of Iran, and it actually looks like that, Like it
- 17:48Speaker 15: actually looks like this sort of cartoonish meeting of super
- 17:51Speaker 15: villains that you would think would be the stuff of
- 17:53Speaker 15: high fast and yet it's taking place, which is obviously
- 17:56Speaker 15: concerning enough. But the fact that, I mean, there's no
- 17:58Speaker 15: way I would think a current or serving labor leader
- 18:02Speaker 15: or any Australian leader of any persuasion would be there.
- 18:06Speaker 15: And I think it is. It is damning and damaging
- 18:09Speaker 15: that both Bob car who I really respect and admire,
- 18:13Speaker 15: or certainly.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I can't believe you can say that's a bit about
- 18:18Speaker 3: Bob Carp I only to say I would respect or
- 18:21Speaker 3: admire him.
- 18:22Speaker 15: No, but Bob cut No, let's get back in the day.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You have to the day.
- 18:26Speaker 15: But back in the day Bob Carr was instrumental in
- 18:29Speaker 15: rooting out communism in the New South Wales Flabor Party.
- 18:32Speaker 14: Now, back in the day that Bob Carr in nineteen
- 18:36Speaker 14: seventy seven co hosted with Bob Hawk pro is Wells
- 18:41Speaker 14: and I had to say, converts are the worst defend us.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Let's move on.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Let's not waste any more time speaking about such a
- 18:48Speaker 3: person as bobcat.
- 18:50Speaker 13: Now.
- 18:50Speaker 3: The point, though, is the Albanesi government's moral confusion as well.
- 18:53Speaker 3: The Prime Minister held the six day visitor with President
- 18:56Speaker 3: She yet he still hasn't met Trump. And then in
- 18:59Speaker 3: contrast to this, over the weekend, I couldn't have been
- 19:02Speaker 3: happier to see this news.
- 19:03Speaker 2: A US Secretary of State Micro Rubio.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Refused to issue visas to the Palestinian Authority President Mahmudabas
- 19:12Speaker 3: and other delegates who are planning to travel to the
- 19:16Speaker 3: United Nations General Assembly.
- 19:18Speaker 13: I mean, Ron went, you know, Australia and.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Other left wing leaders of other similar nations were grand
- 19:26Speaker 3: standing about recognizing a Palestinian state at the UN and
- 19:29Speaker 3: Rubio's just come in and said, well, the Palestinians aren't
- 19:32Speaker 3: even going to be at the meeting.
- 19:34Speaker 13: Very good move either, brilliant, isn't he really?
- 19:36Speaker 14: Absolutely? And of course the United States is on the
- 19:40Speaker 14: Security Committee, which will make that you cannot declare them
- 19:45Speaker 14: to be a state unless America agrees with it. So
- 19:47Speaker 14: as simple as that. So it's all grand standing, a
- 19:50Speaker 14: lot of it. But to make that very strong statement
- 19:54Speaker 14: by denying visas to these people makes it even strong,
- 20:00Speaker 14: and it says we're not talking about here. This is
- 20:02Speaker 14: the case.
- 20:04Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 20:04Speaker 3: And look it's a fair enough point, Joe, because as
- 20:08Speaker 3: Rubio outlined, the Palestinian authority has had that pay for
- 20:11Speaker 3: slave policy, they have funded and encouraged terrorism.
- 20:14Speaker 15: They have they have, but they're not as bad as Hamas.
- 20:17Speaker 15: So I suppose in you know what kissing, you would
- 20:18Speaker 15: see as the real politic of the world as we
- 20:21Speaker 15: find it, not as we would like it to be.
- 20:23Speaker 15: The question is do you try to make them the party,
- 20:27Speaker 15: given that they have apparently made these concessions. And again
- 20:31Speaker 15: I skeptical as you are. But do you say, well,
- 20:34Speaker 15: let's deal with the Palestinian authority which has said yes
- 20:38Speaker 15: we will recognize Israel and yes we will lay down
- 20:41Speaker 15: arms and try to freeze out Hamas. Or do you
- 20:44Speaker 15: just say no, we're not going to deal with any
- 20:45Speaker 15: of you, and I hope that the problem goes away.
- 20:48Speaker 15: I would say that is a pretty heroic assumption. And
- 20:50Speaker 15: so as long as you're just saying we're not talking
- 20:53Speaker 15: to anybody, it's just going to keep going.
- 20:55Speaker 2: J Hump does have another plan.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Whether it's going to work, whether it's a good idea,
- 20:59Speaker 3: is another and I'm going to talk about it later
- 21:01Speaker 3: in the show when Kosher Garde is on. So for now,
- 21:04Speaker 3: let's turn to the Ballarat Bush Summit. Now you might
- 21:08Speaker 3: have seen coverage of this already over the past few days.
- 21:10Speaker 3: It was on Friday, but I want to talk about
- 21:12Speaker 3: it now because it was just incredible how and it
- 21:16Speaker 3: was a reflection of how angry farmers feel towards the
- 21:20Speaker 3: Prime Minister, also towards the Victorian premiages into Allen over
- 21:24Speaker 3: the issue of renewables.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Have a look.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Bush gives you something you simply can't find anywhere else.
- 21:31Speaker 14: The fresh air, the quiet space.
- 21:40Speaker 16: We do need energy, and the cheapest form of new
- 21:44Speaker 16: energy is renewables. Climate change, the science told us that
- 21:51Speaker 16: climate change was real.
- 21:54Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, we'll have to stop if you keep interjecting.
- 21:59Speaker 3: And then Brian, when the farmers, or some of them
- 22:01Speaker 3: at least, seem to chase the Prime Minister out of town.
- 22:04Speaker 14: On their tractors, well, look, I think what we're seeing
- 22:09Speaker 14: is that the Labor Party has nothing but disdain for
- 22:13Speaker 14: regional rural Australia. They don't care, and they just want
- 22:17Speaker 14: to run run shot over the top of them and
- 22:20Speaker 14: do what they want to do and think they can
- 22:22Speaker 14: bludgeon them into accepting what they want in terms of
- 22:25Speaker 14: rewiring the country. And you can't cover our beautiful landscape
- 22:30Speaker 14: with stauntions and turbines and so on and think that
- 22:35Speaker 14: it is doing anything for our country but destroying our landscape.
- 22:39Speaker 14: Nobody's going to write poetry about turbines and stauntions for
- 22:44Speaker 14: our bround Land and our sweeping plans. So I think
- 22:50Speaker 14: that Australians are starting to wake up to this lot.
- 22:54Speaker 14: I think that's in part what the Much for Australia
- 22:57Speaker 14: was about. I think that's what these meetings were about.
- 23:02Speaker 14: And remember Ballaratte was a seat that looked like they
- 23:04Speaker 14: were going to lose in the last election for a while.
- 23:08Speaker 2: So maybe the.
- 23:09Speaker 14: Fact that they're coming out and actually making the case,
- 23:13Speaker 14: and when the Prime Minister had the height to say
- 23:16Speaker 14: he wouldn't be it them but use the long term
- 23:19Speaker 14: of it, they just shouted him down because they saw
- 23:22Speaker 14: how phony that was. So I think there's something happening.
- 23:26Speaker 14: I think people are starting to wake up and I
- 23:29Speaker 14: think we're going to see more protests.
- 23:31Speaker 3: It's still astounding to me that with all these issues
- 23:33Speaker 3: going on, they actually got re elected the Albanesi government.
- 23:37Speaker 14: But only with thirty percent of the vote.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Thirty four percent, but yes, a massive ladd unless you
- 23:43Speaker 3: want to change the entire Westminster system.
- 23:45Speaker 2: That ninety five seats.
- 23:47Speaker 14: That's the way our compulsory system works, that's right, and
- 23:52Speaker 14: if we had optional preferential voting, you would get a
- 23:55Speaker 14: different result.
- 23:56Speaker 15: And that's why we have such a stable liberal democracy
- 23:58Speaker 15: brought and I'm glad yours Australia.
- 24:04Speaker 14: Voting.
- 24:04Speaker 3: It is a shock that with all this, I don't
- 24:07Speaker 3: agree with Australia that the Albaneze government has been really.
- 24:10Speaker 15: The vast majority of people.
- 24:11Speaker 14: I don't agree with compulsory preferential voting. I agree with
- 24:16Speaker 14: I agree with compulsory voting, but I think optional preferential
- 24:21Speaker 14: is far superior.
- 24:22Speaker 15: I think that would still avor very, very convincingly.
- 24:24Speaker 3: A debate for another day, Joe held Brandt, see you vote.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:30Speaker 3: A massive flotilla with about twenty boats has set sail
- 24:34Speaker 3: to deliver aid to Gaza. Greta Thunberg is on the flotilla.
- 24:38Speaker 3: So is a game of Thorne's actor. Now A massive
- 24:41Speaker 3: crowd turned up to see them off, and they are
- 24:44Speaker 3: so ill informed, both the people on the boats and
- 24:47Speaker 3: those in the.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Crowd cheering them, that.
- 24:49Speaker 3: They all clearly believe Israel is not delivering aid into
- 24:53Speaker 3: Gaza and they want to go and save the day.
- 24:56Speaker 3: But Greta was caught out when a journalist asked her
- 24:59Speaker 3: what she thought of the terror group. Hermas, we know
- 25:04Speaker 3: your views on what's happening and Israel's actions. Can I
- 25:08Speaker 3: just ask you your thoughts on Hamas they're still holding hostages.
- 25:11Speaker 2: What would your message to Hammas be?
- 25:15Speaker 17: Again, there is a genocide going on. Palestinas have been
- 25:20Speaker 17: living under suffocating oppression, and when there's an occupational force,
- 25:25Speaker 17: this is not my views. By international law, people have
- 25:28Speaker 17: a right to resist that occupation.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I mean, when she can't properly condemn her maus, I
- 25:37Speaker 3: mean it's a joke. And her claims of an Israeli
- 25:40Speaker 3: genocide and deliberate starvation obviously are wrong too. The Free
- 25:45Speaker 3: Press did an investigation recently where they found that twelve
- 25:49Speaker 3: viral images of starvation in Gaza failed to disclose the
- 25:53Speaker 3: complicated medical histories of those children. Yet their tragic images
- 25:58Speaker 3: flooded social media, including being spread by international aid organizations.
- 26:03Speaker 3: They were used as suppose a proof that Israel was
- 26:06Speaker 3: deliberately starving children. Now it is utterly untrue. There has
- 26:12Speaker 3: been hunger in Gaza because her mass has been looting
- 26:16Speaker 3: aid and reselling it at inflated prices. It's reportedly made
- 26:20Speaker 3: them around five hundred million dollars. So Israel set up
- 26:24Speaker 3: its own aid distribution center to directly feed Palestinians.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Australian actor Nate.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Buzz went to have a look a few days ago
- 26:33Speaker 3: and here's some of what he saw.
- 26:36Speaker 11: I mean, one of the distribution sites of the GHF,
- 26:39Speaker 11: the incredible work they've been doing since May. This is
- 26:42Speaker 11: what is inside these bags, what Palestinians are coming to
- 26:46Speaker 11: collect every single day to see oil. We have pasta lentils.
- 26:52Speaker 11: This is a bag of flour tahini and now since
- 26:55Speaker 11: the beginning of operations, GHF have only had three days
- 26:58Speaker 11: where they weren't able to great inside this box. This
- 27:02Speaker 11: will feed a family of five and a half people
- 27:04Speaker 11: for three and a half days. This is the only
- 27:06Speaker 11: organization right now in Gaza that's actually getting food directly
- 27:10Speaker 11: into the hands of Palestinian families. They could be up
- 27:13Speaker 11: to ten thousand people behind me right now collecting aid.
- 27:16Speaker 11: There was a lot of boxes there that were quite
- 27:18Speaker 11: highly stacked, and as you can see, they've just been
- 27:20Speaker 11: reduced now down to the floor. How many meals have
- 27:23Speaker 11: been distributed as of today.
- 27:25Speaker 18: So I'm not sure of the exact number, but I
- 27:27Speaker 18: think we're going to hit one hundred and forty million
- 27:29Speaker 18: meals delivered in three months today.
- 27:33Speaker 3: And Nate joins me now live from miss Rael. Nate
- 27:35Speaker 3: Good to see you again. So tell me what you
- 27:38Speaker 3: saw when you visited the Aid center.
- 27:42Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 11: Look, first of all, it was extremely important for me
- 27:45Speaker 11: to visit. A lot of criticism has come claiming that
- 27:48Speaker 11: maybe Israel was the ones that encouraged me to go in.
- 27:52Speaker 11: I'm only the fifth civilian to visit this site, but
- 27:55Speaker 11: it was actually all on me. No one reached out
- 27:58Speaker 11: to me, no one gave me permission. I've been facing
- 28:00Speaker 11: down GHF and different organizations to try and see it
- 28:03Speaker 11: with my own eyes, understanding how committed the Palestinian narrative
- 28:08Speaker 11: is about starvation. So what I saw was these exact opposite.
- 28:13Speaker 11: I watched in excess of ten thousand Garzens enter into
- 28:18Speaker 11: this specific site of GHF. They have three sites running
- 28:21Speaker 11: at the moment, and they run twice a day, every
- 28:23Speaker 11: single day since May. They have been successful in delivering
- 28:29Speaker 11: massive amounts of aid. Now, what I didn't see was starvation,
- 28:34Speaker 11: and I was able to get as close as you
- 28:37Speaker 11: possibly can Shari two garzens that day. I was having
- 28:41Speaker 11: conversations with them, I was face to face with them.
- 28:44Speaker 11: I mean, this is as close as you can possibly get.
- 28:47Speaker 3: It has been difficult to get to the bottom of
- 28:50Speaker 3: the situation on the ground, just how extensive the hunger
- 28:55Speaker 3: is or the lack.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Of food is.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Because the Palestinian media so much of it is propaganda
- 29:02Speaker 3: and turns out to be false, you just can't trust
- 29:04Speaker 3: what is coming out of there. And all the evidence
- 29:08Speaker 3: points to the fact that Israel is doing everything it
- 29:10Speaker 3: can to feed Gazans. And I think, by the way,
- 29:12Speaker 3: this is even unprecedented. Really, I mean it doesn't.
- 29:17Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, Just to give you some perspective, you know,
- 29:20Speaker 11: in Rafa, where this distribution site is located, it's behind
- 29:24Speaker 11: the front line of where the IDF is fighting Hamas,
- 29:27Speaker 11: which means they have to allow up to ten thousand
- 29:30Speaker 11: men of fighting age behind their front line. I mean,
- 29:34Speaker 11: that's unheard of in any sort of military campaign against
- 29:38Speaker 11: a terrorist threat like Hamas. So they're actually risking their
- 29:42Speaker 11: own soldiers and their own security to allow Palestinians to
- 29:45Speaker 11: come and collect this eight. Now, what I did see
- 29:48Speaker 11: and the conversations I had with people were the absolute
- 29:52Speaker 11: opposite of what the world is trying to present, particularly Hamas,
- 29:55Speaker 11: about this starvation crisis. I saw healthy people. I didn't
- 29:58Speaker 11: see anyone who was emaciated. It. You know, if you
- 30:01Speaker 11: can remember the hostages that were released, you know, back
- 30:05Speaker 11: in Maths earlier in the year with Ohad Or and
- 30:10Speaker 11: Elie Sharabi. I mean, they looked like they had not
- 30:14Speaker 11: had any substantial amount of food for months. I mean
- 30:18Speaker 11: Ohad who I interviewed, he was in Gaza for four
- 30:21Speaker 11: hundred and ninety one days and he was to a
- 30:23Speaker 11: point where he was almost at death. We saw the
- 30:26Speaker 11: footage of Avitar David recently where he is absolutely starving,
- 30:31Speaker 11: there is no food. These people were not starving. The
- 30:34Speaker 11: people I spoke to were not starving. And you know,
- 30:36Speaker 11: I spoke to one woman. Obviously I wasn't allowed to
- 30:39Speaker 11: film these people from risk of what Humusk would potentially
- 30:42Speaker 11: do to them. But during my conversation with her, I
- 30:45Speaker 11: asked her a simple question. I said, what is the
- 30:47Speaker 11: source of your suffering here in Gaza? Now, I didn't
- 30:50Speaker 11: want to lead her into the answer of Hamas, I
- 30:53Speaker 11: wanted to answer it for herself. And the answer me
- 30:56Speaker 11: was shocking. She said it's the men. She didn't say Hamas,
- 31:00Speaker 11: she just said it's the men. The men in Ghaza
- 31:03Speaker 11: take everything and we as the women, get absolutely nothing.
- 31:08Speaker 11: And so what's amazing about GHF is they're actually separating
- 31:13Speaker 11: the men and the women in their distribution. The men
- 31:15Speaker 11: will come in first, they'll run in, they'll grab as
- 31:17Speaker 11: much aid as they can. They're collecting it. They're ripping boxes,
- 31:20Speaker 11: pulling out flour, taking it as they go. I saw
- 31:22Speaker 11: fighting amongst Palestinians. I saw two Palestinians throwing rocks at
- 31:26Speaker 11: each other to try and get food, not because of
- 31:29Speaker 11: a desperation, just because there is such a me a
- 31:34Speaker 11: mentality and not a communal like let's all be in
- 31:37Speaker 11: this together and let's help each other. But it was
- 31:39Speaker 11: just like men fighting over food to get what they wanted. Now,
- 31:42Speaker 11: a lot of the people coming into these distribution sites,
- 31:45Speaker 11: we're getting food so they could sell it in the market.
- 31:47Speaker 11: So that problem still exists. And also any of the
- 31:50Speaker 11: young men that were there were covering their faces, and
- 31:53Speaker 11: a lot of them would probably have deep associations with
- 31:56Speaker 11: Hamas or even in support of what Hummas has been
- 31:59Speaker 11: doing for the last twenty two months. So it's quite
- 32:01Speaker 11: surreal because I'm talking to young men and I'm asking
- 32:03Speaker 11: them where they're from, and the answers would be rougher Jabalia,
- 32:07Speaker 11: you know har Unas. Now me being so engaged in
- 32:10Speaker 11: this conflict. I know full well the radicalization and the
- 32:15Speaker 11: level of celebration that was unfolding in han Unis and
- 32:18Speaker 11: Jabalia on the seventh of October when Israelis were being
- 32:21Speaker 11: dragged back from the the communities around them. So you're
- 32:25Speaker 11: talking to people who you know very well could be
- 32:28Speaker 11: in support of her Maas or have moved their support
- 32:31Speaker 11: away from her mask because they know that Hamas is
- 32:33Speaker 11: not the solution anymore. But when this woman told me
- 32:37Speaker 11: that the men are the problem, it broke my up
- 32:39Speaker 11: because she also said this, which counters the entire argument
- 32:42Speaker 11: that Greta Flumberg makes that they're living under this horrible
- 32:45Speaker 11: occupation in Gaza. Was an open person, she specifically said
- 32:48Speaker 11: to me, because I asked her what was Gaza like
- 32:51Speaker 11: on October six before this war started, and she said
- 32:54Speaker 11: it was a paradise. It was heaven, That's how she
- 32:57Speaker 11: described it. So everything that's being presented is just pure propaganda.
- 33:02Speaker 11: And I guess what's frustrating about this is it takes
- 33:06Speaker 11: people like myself to actually go into Gaza put ourselves
- 33:10Speaker 11: in a situation of risk because this is the site
- 33:13Speaker 11: where Hamas, through aid at security personnel to disrupt the
- 33:17Speaker 11: food distribution. You know, we're doing this so we can
- 33:21Speaker 11: explain to the world that what you're seeing, what even
- 33:25Speaker 11: the Australian government is claiming is happening in Gaza, is
- 33:28Speaker 11: absolutely not the truth. It is a complicated situation, but
- 33:32Speaker 11: that complication purely comes because Hamas is still committed to fighting,
- 33:36Speaker 11: They're still committed to disrupting, and they're still committed to
- 33:38Speaker 11: getting their major source of economy, which is to control
- 33:42Speaker 11: the AID. I mean, just in August, the UN admitted
- 33:45Speaker 11: that ninety three point six percent of their AID trucks
- 33:48Speaker 11: were stolen by Hamas, so they have a seven percent
- 33:51Speaker 11: success rate at getting.
- 33:53Speaker 3: AID, and yet Israel is entirely to blame in the
- 33:57Speaker 3: eyes of the Australian government and the world.
- 34:00Speaker 8: Eight.
- 34:00Speaker 3: You have been absolutely unbelievable since October seven. Your message,
- 34:06Speaker 3: your advocacy, you're reporting of the facts just.
- 34:10Speaker 2: So important and so courageous.
- 34:11Speaker 3: And I know it's come at a great cost to
- 34:13Speaker 3: you professionally and personally as well. We just have to
- 34:16Speaker 3: say thank you for that. And this is now your life.
- 34:19Speaker 3: You're basically dedicating your life to it, and you know,
- 34:22Speaker 3: you're one of the few people who does have a
- 34:24Speaker 3: big reach. You've got millions of followers on Instagram on
- 34:27Speaker 3: other channels, So thank you very much for doing what
- 34:30Speaker 3: you're doing and of course for being here this evening.
- 34:34Speaker 2: All right, still to come.
- 34:35Speaker 3: The Albanezy government is paying now rue four hundred million
- 34:39Speaker 3: dollars to take just two hundred odd criminal detainees.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Is this a good deal?
- 34:45Speaker 3: And Ray Hadley will give his take on the anti
- 34:47Speaker 3: immigration rallies.
- 34:48Speaker 2: He'll be here on the desk next.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Welcome back and joining me now radio legend, Ray Hadley, Ray.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Great to see you.
- 35:00Speaker 19: Great to be with you, Ferry Great.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Now you're really angry about the federal Senators on both
- 35:06Speaker 3: sides voted down an inquiry into the fatal death of
- 35:11Speaker 3: for Australian defense personnel. They were on a chopper when
- 35:17Speaker 3: it crashed in July twenty twenty three.
- 35:19Speaker 13: There should obviously be an inquiry into this.
- 35:22Speaker 18: Well look how it started.
- 35:24Speaker 19: Jim Jeffries, the noted comedian Australian based in la Is,
- 35:29Speaker 19: the uncle of one of the deceased pilots, Lieutenant Max Eugen.
- 35:33Speaker 19: The three other men lost their lives, Captain Daniel Lyon,
- 35:37Speaker 19: Warrant Officer Class two, Joseph Philip Lacock and Corporal Alexander Nags.
- 35:43Speaker 19: So we had a Commission of the inquiry last year,
- 35:46Speaker 19: headed up by Margaret McMurdo. I gave evidence at that
- 35:49Speaker 19: inquiry because my wife is a personal friend of young
- 35:54Speaker 19: Max's parents, and I'd spoken to Max about the frailties
- 35:58Speaker 19: of the chopper after a crash at Jarvis Bay and
- 36:01Speaker 19: he said to me this top our visor. I didn't
- 36:04Speaker 19: know what a top our visor was, but it's apparently
- 36:06Speaker 19: a visor that they wear which all the information on
- 36:09Speaker 19: the control panel is in front of them at night,
- 36:12Speaker 19: so they can see in really bad conditions, which was
- 36:15Speaker 19: it was really bad night that night. But then a
- 36:18Speaker 19: retired test pilot called Ian Wilson gave evidence and said
- 36:21Speaker 19: from time to time the top owl inverted, it'd give
- 36:25Speaker 19: the information upside down. So we had this inquiry and
- 36:29Speaker 19: then there was a thought by Comcare that there'd be
- 36:33Speaker 19: a prosecution of the Department of Defense via the Comwealt DPP.
- 36:37Speaker 19: They didn't. Five days before the statute of limitations expired
- 36:41Speaker 19: on this matter, they wrote to all the families and
- 36:43Speaker 19: said we're not having this dealt with. We won't be
- 36:47Speaker 19: prosecuting the department. So there was a vote in the
- 36:50Speaker 19: Senate last Friday to determine what information should be shown
- 36:55Speaker 19: the advice from the DPP, and remarkably a deal was
- 37:00Speaker 19: and a dirty deal was done between Labor and Liberal.
- 37:03Speaker 19: So those who voted no, there were I think twenty three.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Or so Labor senators.
- 37:08Speaker 19: Yeah, they voted no, and six or seven Liberal senators
- 37:12Speaker 19: abstaining were twenty Liberal National Party senators, six Labor senators
- 37:18Speaker 19: and can you believe Jackie the great defender of the
- 37:23Speaker 19: Defense Force, Jackie Lamby, she abstained as well. It was
- 37:26Speaker 19: left to one nation, Pauline Hanson, the Greens and David
- 37:29Speaker 19: Pocock to say yes it should go ahead. So this
- 37:33Speaker 19: all started with an article in the Saturday Telegraph by
- 37:36Speaker 19: Jim Jeffries. I followed it up in the Telegraph today.
- 37:39Speaker 19: I've just received a note on the way to the
- 37:41Speaker 19: show that the people from the Commonwealth DPP have now
- 37:46Speaker 19: reached out to the four families to in some way explain. Look,
- 37:51Speaker 19: it's a cover up.
- 37:53Speaker 3: You can understand why Jim Jefferies is calling it a conspiracy,
- 37:57Speaker 3: because why would politicians of both sides.
- 38:00Speaker 2: It's both down an inquiry.
- 38:01Speaker 3: We need to know why Australian servicemen were killed.
- 38:06Speaker 19: They said in the inquiry it was because of spatial disorientation.
- 38:11Speaker 19: Now the point's been made by many people who are experts,
- 38:13Speaker 19: not me that if it was caused by spatial disorientation
- 38:17Speaker 19: the crash meaning they couldn't see what they were doing
- 38:20Speaker 19: in they well, the spatial disorientation is controlled by top
- 38:24Speaker 19: out and they don't. They got rid of the choppers
- 38:27Speaker 19: by the way, they've been packed away, they've gone, We've
- 38:30Speaker 19: ordered black Hawk, but we still you know, this is
- 38:33Speaker 19: really dreadful when we see the federal government give a
- 38:36Speaker 19: person over two million dollars after a few hours of meetings,
- 38:40Speaker 19: and you've got four families, wives, children, mothers, fathers, siblings
- 38:45Speaker 19: who've lost four wonderful men, and somehow Susan Lee and
- 38:50Speaker 19: the Liberal government agree to this conspiracy. It's justice that
- 38:54Speaker 19: they're all complicit, bar the Greens, One Nation and David
- 38:58Speaker 19: Poycock or.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Maybe the Telegraph needs to get onto all of them.
- 39:02Speaker 3: And we need an explanation of what's gone on here
- 39:05Speaker 3: because it's not good enough.
- 39:06Speaker 19: It's just terrible. I mean, really, four young men lost
- 39:09Speaker 19: their lives in the most despicable circumstances. They probably shouldn't
- 39:12Speaker 19: have been flying. They were overtied and they're in dreadful conditions.
- 39:15Speaker 19: But it was an exercise with the US, and I'm
- 39:19Speaker 19: tipping the Army air wing bosses were saying, Oh, we
- 39:21Speaker 19: can't tell the US we're not willing to fly because
- 39:23Speaker 19: it's a really important result.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Whatever it is, we need to get to the box.
- 39:26Speaker 2: They deserve that. All right.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Let's talk about the news that Home Affairs Minister Tony
- 39:30Speaker 3: Burke has struck a deal so he'll give four hundred
- 39:33Speaker 3: million dollars to NAHARU in order to essentially deport foreign
- 39:37Speaker 3: bond criminals from Australia.
- 39:40Speaker 13: I mean there's.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Somewhere between two hundred and two hundred eighty criminals.
- 39:44Speaker 13: Four hundred million dollars.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Now, Murray, what.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Was asked about this earlier at Star News and he
- 39:50Speaker 3: kind of denied it was a bribe.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Have a look, Australia has every right to remove people
- 39:57Speaker 4: who have no right to be here. NARU has a
- 40:00Speaker 4: read to accept a substantial number of the cohort that
- 40:04Speaker 4: we're talking about, and we have agreed to provide payment
- 40:07Speaker 4: to assist with management of that cohort. You know, NAARU
- 40:11Speaker 4: is an independence over a nation that can make its
- 40:13Speaker 4: own decisions.
- 40:15Speaker 3: So you know, of course we don't want these criminals
- 40:17Speaker 3: in Australia.
- 40:18Speaker 19: But four hundred million, well some people would say, and
- 40:21Speaker 19: I could be one of them. It's a lot of money,
- 40:23Speaker 19: but it's worth it. You've got murderers, you've got pedophiles,
- 40:26Speaker 19: you've got sex offenders. And this was completely stuffed by
- 40:30Speaker 19: Andrew Giles. That's how the High Court arrived at their
- 40:34Speaker 19: decision that you couldn't cook these people indefinitely into tention
- 40:37Speaker 19: and so I guess the only solution available was to
- 40:41Speaker 19: get rid of them to NARU. Now, obviously the people
- 40:45Speaker 19: in the ru that govern aren't stupid. They knew they
- 40:48Speaker 19: had to get the Labor Party out of a really
- 40:50Speaker 19: tight spot. And I guess the Labor Party said, look,
- 40:53Speaker 19: we'll give you a hundred million. They said, no, we
- 40:54Speaker 19: want a billion. And they've arrived somehow at the four
- 40:57Speaker 19: hundred million having said that.
- 41:01Speaker 3: And there's no transparency of course over the negotiation.
- 41:04Speaker 19: No, I mean, Tony Burk's got his fingerprints over it,
- 41:07Speaker 19: but to a certain extent, I know rap for him,
- 41:09Speaker 19: but he's the blake with mop and bucket cleaning up
- 41:11Speaker 19: the Joels mess that preceded him. So on behalf of
- 41:15Speaker 19: the victims of these dreadful, dreadful human beings. I'm happy
- 41:18Speaker 19: that they're being packed away totally.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Now, just before we go, I want to get your
- 41:23Speaker 3: take on the protests we saw over the weekend. Now,
- 41:26Speaker 3: the anti immigration rallies were nationwide. We saw the government
- 41:30Speaker 3: come out and call them all racist, UnAustralian neo Nazis.
- 41:36Speaker 2: What do you think, Well, look, I.
- 41:38Speaker 19: Think a handful of neo Nazis ruined it for the
- 41:40Speaker 19: vast majority of decent Australians who wanted to go out
- 41:44Speaker 19: and give a voice. But I mean the duplicity and
- 41:47Speaker 19: the double standards from the federal government is breathtaking. We've had,
- 41:52Speaker 19: as you've exercised on this program many many times, the
- 41:55Speaker 19: Harbor Bridge fiasco with people carrying ISIS flags, mass flags,
- 42:00Speaker 19: pictures of terrorists as if there's some sort of hero
- 42:04Speaker 19: and not a word said. You get a few lunatics,
- 42:07Speaker 19: and only a few lunatics who try to involve themselves
- 42:10Speaker 19: insert themselves with this debate. And you know, the white
- 42:13Speaker 19: supremacists and the right, there's no place for them in
- 42:15Speaker 19: society really. But you know, I felt so sorry for
- 42:18Speaker 19: the thousands, in some cases ten thousand or so who marched,
- 42:22Speaker 19: who were brought down with tiny Burke doing what he
- 42:25Speaker 19: normally does, jumping all over people that he opposes who
- 42:29Speaker 19: are trying to protest in a peaceful manner, and then
- 42:32Speaker 19: support the sort of lunacy we saw on the Sydney
- 42:34Speaker 19: Harbor Bridge. It's just not right. And I mean, I
- 42:38Speaker 19: guess it was always going to happen that, you know,
- 42:40Speaker 19: the extreme right we're going to try and make this
- 42:42Speaker 19: a vehicle for their ideological nonsense. But we just ignore
- 42:47Speaker 19: them as we have. I mean, there are pockets of
- 42:49Speaker 19: society from the extreme left, pockets from the extreme right,
- 42:53Speaker 19: you know, and they kind of converge, and you know,
- 42:57Speaker 19: we've got sovereign citizens like the Blake. They're currently searching
- 42:59Speaker 19: for the depth of two brave police officers.
- 43:01Speaker 13: It's incredible that's taking so long, isn't it.
- 43:03Speaker 19: Well, just reading Stuch, Yeah, well there's there's gold mine
- 43:08Speaker 19: shafts everywhere in the area, and you don't know where
- 43:10Speaker 19: he could be hiding all the rest of it. And
- 43:11Speaker 19: I mean, without getting into this in greater detail through COVID,
- 43:16Speaker 19: I spent my life on air barring anti vaxxers and
- 43:19Speaker 19: barring sovereign citizens. You know, the ones that say pull
- 43:22Speaker 19: up by the coppice without a license not READI and
- 43:23Speaker 19: say I'm not driving, I'm traveling. I mean some sort
- 43:26Speaker 19: of you know, the magna carta gives me the right
- 43:29Speaker 19: from ten to sixty sixty, I mean it infuriates me.
- 43:33Speaker 19: And unfortunately in Australia in recent times we've seen officers
- 43:37Speaker 19: in Queensland killed by raving lunatics and now allegedly officers
- 43:41Speaker 19: killed by yet another raving lunatic from the Sovereign citizen Brigade.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Yeah, terrible, and no leadership amongst it all. Very hardly.
- 43:48Speaker 2: So good to see you. Thank you, catch you next
- 43:50Speaker 2: week next week, thanks very much. That's still to come.
- 43:52Speaker 3: A downing expose about ma'am Danny's links to Katari funding.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Plus are environmentalists risking lives by demanding the removal of
- 44:01Speaker 3: shark nets?
- 44:02Speaker 2: That's all coming up.
- 44:08Speaker 3: The New York Post has revealed that radical socialist New
- 44:11Speaker 3: York City mayoral candidate ma'm Dani has financial ties to Qatar.
- 44:17Speaker 3: His filmmaker mother has had projects bankrolled by the Hermas
- 44:20Speaker 3: supporting Katar. To the tune of fifteen million dollars fifteen
- 44:25Speaker 3: million to discuss joining me now Sky Andese contributor Kosher
- 44:29Speaker 3: Garda Kosher. I mean, this is a shocking revelation, but
- 44:32Speaker 3: it seems unless Cuomo or Adam's pull out, he's now
- 44:36Speaker 3: likely to win.
- 44:39Speaker 20: It is his to lose Shari, that is for sure,
- 44:42Speaker 20: because if you managed to lock up the nomination as
- 44:46Speaker 20: a Democrat in New York City, it is pretty much
- 44:47Speaker 20: a glide path to victory. His mother is actually a
- 44:51Speaker 20: very well known Indian American filmmaker, Mira and Ayre. She's
- 44:55Speaker 20: definitely an elite in general and certainly in that film industry,
- 44:58Speaker 20: lots of well known movies, Oscar nominated, etc. And it
- 45:02Speaker 20: has long been known that many countries, but Katara especially
- 45:05Speaker 20: is very savvy about funding elites and elite organizations, whether
- 45:09Speaker 20: it's her as a filmmaker, whether it's some of the
- 45:11Speaker 20: universities that have taken funding. There's lots of people in
- 45:14Speaker 20: the United States Congress who allegedly have been linked to
- 45:18Speaker 20: taking money from groups lobbying groups that ultimately have Katari
- 45:21Speaker 20: fingerprints on them. So this has been a long running
- 45:24Speaker 20: story that is only I guess escalating and here you
- 45:28Speaker 20: have it for somebody who is poised to be mayor
- 45:30Speaker 20: of the one of the most iconic cities in the world.
- 45:33Speaker 3: It would be just so truly appalling development if he
- 45:36Speaker 3: does win. And now we know that Trump had meetings
- 45:39Speaker 3: last week with Tony Blair and Jared Kushner about a.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Post war plan for Gaza.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Well, the Washington Post is now reporting, and I should
- 45:47Speaker 3: say we take their reporting with a pinch of salt.
- 45:49Speaker 3: And yet they are reporting that his plan for Gaza
- 45:53Speaker 3: does involve turning it into the Riviera of the Middle
- 45:56Speaker 3: East under US leadership. The Washington Post report that his
- 46:01Speaker 3: vow to take over the enclave would turn it into
- 46:03Speaker 3: a trusteeship administered by the US for at least ten
- 46:06Speaker 3: years while it is transformed into a gleaming tourism resort
- 46:10Speaker 3: and high tech manufacturing technology hups.
- 46:13Speaker 2: So agang closure. We don't know if this is accurate.
- 46:15Speaker 3: It's a report, but you know, according to the sources
- 46:19Speaker 3: the Post spoke too.
- 46:20Speaker 2: What else do we know about this plan?
- 46:24Speaker 20: You know, it feels shari as you say, in my opinion,
- 46:27Speaker 20: sort of like a trial balloon that the Trump administration
- 46:30Speaker 20: may be wanted leaked out there. And is trying to
- 46:34Speaker 20: gauge the electorate's appetite for something along these lines, because
- 46:38Speaker 20: it is a little bit of a tricky one where
- 46:39Speaker 20: the US electorate and Trump's base does want peace, they
- 46:43Speaker 20: do not support terrorism, they are very anti Hamas, but
- 46:47Speaker 20: they also do not want the US to get involved, really,
- 46:50Speaker 20: whether it's boots on the ground kinetically or creating some
- 46:53Speaker 20: sort of riviera and putting money money in and developing
- 46:57Speaker 20: infrastructure over there when there are plenty of problem back
- 47:00Speaker 20: home that warrant more attention. So he knows that, and
- 47:03Speaker 20: I think that's what he's trying to navigate and get
- 47:05Speaker 20: a little bit of a sense if this is something
- 47:07Speaker 20: that's a deliberate trial balloon that he's put out there
- 47:10Speaker 20: and that the Washing Post got its hands on. But
- 47:12Speaker 20: it also does have flavors of Trump, some of those
- 47:15Speaker 20: things that you mentioned where he looks at things transactionally
- 47:18Speaker 20: and as a deal maker and as a real estate developer,
- 47:20Speaker 20: and he's trying to create these bonds and financial incentives
- 47:24Speaker 20: that allow the US to get some of the money
- 47:26Speaker 20: back in some way if they were to invest in
- 47:29Speaker 20: that region, just like any other property development, if you will.
- 47:32Speaker 20: But I don't know, I'm skeptical until we see something
- 47:35Speaker 20: a little bit more hard cutting from the administration itself.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it would be good to have some proper information
- 47:41Speaker 3: coming from and on the record source.
- 47:43Speaker 2: But I agree. You know, billions and billions of aid.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Have disappeared, so you know, an investment might not be
- 47:49Speaker 3: such a bad thing. Just finally, Trump is now talking
- 47:52Speaker 3: about the possibility of a trilateral between Putin and Zelenski.
- 47:58Speaker 2: But the tone seems to have changed.
- 48:01Speaker 3: So this was a lot more positive about a week
- 48:03Speaker 3: and a half two weeks ago.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Do you think some of the momentum has disappeared?
- 48:09Speaker 20: It feels like it. It's a little bit like a
- 48:11Speaker 20: yo yo, isn't it? Where there's despair and then you
- 48:13Speaker 20: see maybe a negative encounter with that now infamous Zelenski
- 48:16Speaker 20: meeting in the Oval, and then you had everything with
- 48:19Speaker 20: Putin and Alaska, and then we're back to this. So
- 48:22Speaker 20: who knows what's happening. You know, behind the scenes, it
- 48:24Speaker 20: sounds like lower level officials from both sides, Russia and
- 48:27Speaker 20: Ukraine are trying to hash out a little bit more
- 48:31Speaker 20: along the lines of a framework, but they are still
- 48:33Speaker 20: at an impasse in terms of concessions and what they
- 48:35Speaker 20: look like and all of that. And I think, you know,
- 48:37Speaker 20: Trump has a particular style. Sometimes you'll lean in and
- 48:41Speaker 20: take charge and sometimes in this case, he's like, you
- 48:43Speaker 20: know what, maybe they have to quote fight it out.
- 48:44Speaker 13: A little bit more.
- 48:45Speaker 20: Is what he said, where he's like, at the end
- 48:47Speaker 20: of the day, this is not my fight, and I'm
- 48:49Speaker 20: here to help. But if they want to take longer
- 48:51Speaker 20: than so be it.
- 48:52Speaker 3: All right, Kushakata, thank you so much for your time.
- 48:56Speaker 3: After the break, environmentalists have had a win with some
- 48:59Speaker 3: shark nets to be removed.
- 49:01Speaker 2: In a dangerous trial that's next.
- 49:07Speaker 3: The Men's government has decided to remove shark nets from
- 49:11Speaker 3: three beaches over the next few weeks as part of
- 49:14Speaker 3: a controversial trial. We don't know which beaches yet, but
- 49:17Speaker 3: the nets are being removed because of arguments that sea
- 49:21Speaker 3: life are being killed.
- 49:24Speaker 18: The reason these shark nets have come under so much
- 49:26Speaker 18: criticism the impact they have on the environment, particularly endangered species,
- 49:31Speaker 18: particularly sharks, dolphins, and turtles.
- 49:36Speaker 3: With children packing our beaches over summer, this is a
- 49:40Speaker 3: dangerous exercise that prioritizes sea life over human life.
- 49:45Speaker 2: It is absurd, all right, So we've got time for
- 49:48Speaker 2: tonight here's Paul Murray
