- 0:00Speaker 1: The Celebrity News.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Oh you like that.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Jennifer Aniston's last words to Matthew Perry have been revealed.
- 0:07Speaker 3: So the reason this has happened is because they're auctioning
- 0:09Speaker 3: off Matthew Perry's personal belongings or to go toward the
- 0:13Speaker 3: Matthew Perry Foundation, which was founded after his death and
- 0:16Speaker 3: helps others that are struggling with disease of addiction. Right,
- 0:19Speaker 3: So they're auctioning off things like twenty six of his
- 0:21Speaker 3: friend's scripts, props from the set, his wallet even and
- 0:25Speaker 3: also he had a Batman collectible, so there's like two
- 0:28Speaker 3: dozen Batman collectibles. One of the things that is being
- 0:31Speaker 3: auctioned off is this letter that Jennifer Aniston wrote to
- 0:35Speaker 3: Matthew Perry only weeks before he passed away. The interesting
- 0:38Speaker 3: thing about this letter is it's written almost as if
- 0:42Speaker 3: he's already dead, So it's as if she knew he
- 0:44Speaker 3: was really struggling and kind of it's like she saw
- 0:48Speaker 3: the end was near. So I'm going to read you
- 0:50Speaker 3: a little bit of the letter that I've got here.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Do you want some music in the background?
- 0:54Speaker 3: I set the scene.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Oh, it's it very personal? Should they have just given
- 0:56Speaker 2: this letter back to Jennifer. I know I kind of
- 0:58Speaker 2: agree what it said.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Matthew. How am I going to live without your light
- 1:04Speaker 3: in my life on a daily basis? I know that
- 1:06Speaker 3: light has been dimmed at times, and there were moments
- 1:09Speaker 3: I was so scared it was going to go out
- 1:10Speaker 3: all together. You have always come back, So I thank
- 1:14Speaker 3: you for choosing to live this life. We've come a
- 1:17Speaker 3: long way, baby, since that night we met at the bar.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I'm so proud of you, and I'm always here for you.
- 1:23Speaker 3: You may not think to call me, but I am
- 1:24Speaker 3: always here.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I love you. Jenny Music, you know she called herself Jenny.
- 1:31Speaker 3: She doesn't look like a Jenny.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Is that your take out.
- 1:35Speaker 2: About Brooklyn Jenny from the block?
- 1:38Speaker 3: But yeah, really sad, But it just shows that he
- 1:40Speaker 3: clearly had a problem that he's even his friends knew about.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They just couldn't save him from it.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We've all had that one friend I know I have
- 1:47Speaker 1: who's like on the trials. Yeah, life spiraling out and
- 1:51Speaker 1: you know, and you you just you watch.
- 1:54Speaker 3: So you try and help them, but you can't do
- 1:57Speaker 3: it to the detriment of your own life, So try
- 2:00Speaker 3: so much, and then it's just like some people and
- 2:02Speaker 3: I'm not saying in Matthew Perry's case, I know the
- 2:04Speaker 3: ins and outs, but some people you just have to
- 2:06Speaker 3: take a step back and go, you know what, like
- 2:08Speaker 3: I can't let this get in the way of me
- 2:10Speaker 3: being happy.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Well, you can only help yourself. But my one mate,
- 2:13Speaker 1: he actually came good. I hope he's still good. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: haven't seen him for a few months, but he was like
- 2:17Speaker 1: check in. Yeah, I was textinghim. He was on all
- 2:19Speaker 1: the OxyS and everything. He told me. He checked himself
- 2:22Speaker 1: into a rehab and they like tie you down to
- 2:27Speaker 1: go through the withdrawals, and he did it, and it
- 2:29Speaker 1: was like the hardest thing ever. Oh God.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I used to work with my key years ago and
- 2:35Speaker 2: he got injured overseas and got himself a few painkillers,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and me and his co host Emery at the time,
- 2:43Speaker 2: I had to do an intervention and say, look, I
- 2:45Speaker 2: think you think you're going a bit too hard in
- 2:47Speaker 2: these painkillers.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Was being strapped down.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah it was only two weeks, but.
- 2:54Speaker 2: It's a slippery thing.
- 2:55Speaker 1: But I didn't know what I was taking. It got
- 2:57Speaker 1: given to me in Vietnam, but I remember, and I
- 3:02Speaker 1: was on air and apparently the show was awful and
- 3:04Speaker 1: like no one could understand what was going on.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I know you didn't make sense, yeah, but.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I to the boss, I'm like, what's wrong. I'm fine.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You couldn't see it here.
- 3:13Speaker 3: This is great happiness you've ever been.
- 3:15Speaker 2: How was cold Turkey?
- 3:16Speaker 3: Was it hard? No?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Because it was like two weeks. It wasn't a bloody
- 3:20Speaker 1: opium addicted well a little bit, yea, yeah, especially in America.
- 3:24Speaker 2: They were handing outs a lot.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah,
