- 0:00Speaker 1: There's a website you probably already knew about this, Mickbroken
- 0:02Speaker 1: dot com.
- 0:03Speaker 2: No, that's brilliant.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Philadelphia is like the number one city on here, at
- 0:09Speaker 3: least on my end. It's going now twenty two zero
- 0:12Speaker 3: point five percent of mcflurry machines.
- 0:16Speaker 2: No wonder why they're so angry at that.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Dude, I gotta tell.
- 0:20Speaker 3: You that would make me racist too. Honestly, up there,
- 0:24Speaker 3: I have listened.
- 0:26Speaker 1: There is so many misnomers and misconceptions about rural white
- 0:31Speaker 1: people in America. You guys all know it. You see it.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I have never met anybody more racist than the people
- 0:37Speaker 1: that I know from Philadelphia. They're the most racist people
- 0:41Speaker 1: I've ever met in my life. We did it.
- 0:44Speaker 2: We're back. The voice you're hearing it's me. It's mad
- 0:47Speaker 2: As Beard Laws. You know this by now. You got
- 0:49Speaker 2: Brandon J. McDermott, the newest triple Dad of the bunch,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and uh, you've been quacking off a veteran of the
- 0:57Speaker 2: Triple Dead Bunch's up. We got flemy. It's allergy season everywhere.
- 1:03Speaker 2: At least your weather's a little bit nicer than ours.
- 1:05Speaker 3: So beautiful here, Brandon, is it? It's probably a similar
- 1:11Speaker 3: like are you are you upper seventies right now as well?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Seventy nine degrees, low humidity, little breezy outside. But come
- 1:19Speaker 1: tomorrow and I will is that pardon? Come tomorrow night.
- 1:23Speaker 1: We're it's supposed to go from this to twenty nine
- 1:29Speaker 1: to twenty eight degrees, which it's not too cold, but
- 1:32Speaker 1: it's that weird sweet spot to where it could come
- 1:35Speaker 1: between freezing and not freezing to wear. We're going to
- 1:38Speaker 1: get two to five inches of god knows what. That's
- 1:41Speaker 1: what I usually tell her.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We had snow at the time of the recording today,
- 1:45Speaker 2: lots of it, yesterday, tornado warning the day before fifty five,
- 1:49Speaker 2: So we're getting all of the seasons in a couple
- 1:52Speaker 2: of days. I know you guys are always like, ooh, it's
- 1:54Speaker 2: the mid Midwest weather. Well, it's also Northeast weather, Midwest weather,
- 1:59Speaker 2: all of the same. I guess we're pretty close on
- 2:01Speaker 2: the same latitude. Isn't that a term that they tried
- 2:03Speaker 2: to teach us in school years ago?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, isn't that funny how we all? I mean,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I could probably say five or six different weather sayings
- 2:13Speaker 1: and you can interchange them for your area and my area,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and you probably heard them a hundred times. You know,
- 2:18Speaker 1: wait a couple of hours, then the weather will be different.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You know, kind of a thing. You know, we all
- 2:24Speaker 1: had days where you wake up in the morning and
- 2:25Speaker 1: the heat is on. You get home. I literally got
- 2:27Speaker 1: into my car and I'm turning the air on, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: like those kind of that's the season we're in where
- 2:32Speaker 1: it's like, what's cold? Oh my god, it's so hot?
- 2:35Speaker 1: When did I wear a sweater?
- 2:36Speaker 3: That's yeah. I usually bring like a light jacket or whatever,
- 2:40Speaker 3: and then then start jagging it. But ten am, I'm like, damn,
- 2:46Speaker 3: you know, it'd be nice if there wasn't such a
- 2:48Speaker 3: breeze'd be nice if the sun came out, and then
- 2:51Speaker 3: the sun disc come out, and you're like, I could
- 2:52Speaker 3: wear shorts right now. Blind everybody with these white ass legs.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Do you guys have the same thing going on? Usually
- 2:57Speaker 2: when it's super nice out, it's super windy, so it's
- 2:59Speaker 2: not really that nice and you can enjoy it. Okay, yes,
- 3:03Speaker 2: I thought it was just potentially here Like the other day,
- 3:05Speaker 2: it was like, oh, it's beautiful, it's fifty five. We're
- 3:08Speaker 2: at this tournament. We're going outside enjoy the sun. Fifteen
- 3:11Speaker 2: to twenty mile an hour breeze. All of the sand
- 3:13Speaker 2: that they used to you know, keep the parking lots
- 3:16Speaker 2: and stuff. They're just blowing all over the place. And
- 3:18Speaker 2: was like, so much for that vitamin D.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It's in every single time that I'm outside, That's what it.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I feel like. There's like eighty mile an hour winds
- 3:28Speaker 3: just blowing and you're like getting dirt in your eye
- 3:30Speaker 3: and everything. It feels like you're in a sandstorm and
- 3:32Speaker 3: a tornado mixed in with a decent breeze or not breeze,
- 3:37Speaker 3: decent sunlight. When it comes out, you're like, oh, this
- 3:39Speaker 3: ain't so bad, Like I can handle this wind. You can't.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It's miserable. It can't burn anything either. They're constantly reminding
- 3:45Speaker 3: you to like, hey, it's a red flag warning. Is
- 3:49Speaker 3: that the sounds like I thought that was in the ocean.
- 3:51Speaker 3: What does this?
- 3:52Speaker 2: They put out red flags for divers?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Do you guys get any red flag warnings where you're.
- 3:57Speaker 2: At matt Well, we call them burn bands. We make
- 4:01Speaker 2: it easy.
- 4:03Speaker 3: That's what they used to be here, I thought, And
- 4:04Speaker 3: then I again the weather and they're like, hey, red
- 4:06Speaker 3: flag and I'm like, oh, I must be.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Like what are they challenging the play.
- 4:11Speaker 3: That's what I'm like, Yeah, oh my god, how do
- 4:13Speaker 3: we get this just lasted for like eighteen hours as well?
- 4:16Speaker 3: It feels like direct TV when they used to combine it, like, hey,
- 4:18Speaker 3: we'll be there between seven am and maybe midnight.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So right to a flag warning means warm temperatures, low humidities,
- 4:26Speaker 2: and stronger winds are expected to combined to produce an
- 4:29Speaker 2: increased risk of fire. If you're allowed to burn in
- 4:31Speaker 2: your area, I'll burn barrels must be covered with weighted
- 4:34Speaker 2: metal covers with holes larger than three quarters of an inch.
- 4:38Speaker 2: So okay, I've never heard of right flag warning, So
- 4:40Speaker 2: I guess they just say burn bands in effect. And
- 4:43Speaker 2: then I don't think a lot of people talk about
- 4:44Speaker 2: the actual weather, but it's a weather thing.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I guess maybe we don't get them because we're raight
- 4:51Speaker 2: out at the first part. Warm temperatures we don't get those.
- 4:54Speaker 2: We get low humidities, I bet, and strong winds. I
- 4:57Speaker 2: don't think it's the warm weather, but yeah, they every
- 4:59Speaker 2: year they do, which is funny because we not only
- 5:02Speaker 2: have a burn band right now, but we also have
- 5:03Speaker 2: flood warnings. So and in the state of New York.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I think they might have done away with burn barrels,
- 5:10Speaker 2: which man, I wish wasn't a thing. Are they allowed
- 5:13Speaker 2: in your area?
- 5:15Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, we see. I actually I wish I had one.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I know they're terrible, but I'm like, you know, living
- 5:21Speaker 3: out in the middle of nowhere, it's as much easier to
- 5:24Speaker 3: burn some shit. I know it's terrible for the environment,
- 5:26Speaker 3: and when people ask me why you don't do it,
- 5:28Speaker 3: I simply that's what I use, is my excuse. I'm like, god, yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 3: just really environmental conscious. And they're like, you don't have
- 5:35Speaker 3: a burn, like, not a single one. The other one
- 5:38Speaker 3: burned through, so I'm a bitch too lazy to again
- 5:39Speaker 3: the other one.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, they got rid of them in our state, apparently,
- 5:43Speaker 2: because I just looked it up and it says, yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 2: New York State prohibits burning trash or solid waste, including
- 5:48Speaker 2: in burn barrels, which I know. There is a person
- 5:51Speaker 2: fairly close to me that is on a pretty busy
- 5:55Speaker 2: road that has two burn barrels that is going all
- 5:59Speaker 2: of the goddamn time, and I'm not sure how they
- 6:00Speaker 2: haven't got a ticket.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I just realized in looking this up the difference between
- 6:06Speaker 1: red flag warning and burned bands. I mean I figured
- 6:09Speaker 1: they were interchangeable, and they kind of are. Red flag
- 6:12Speaker 1: warnings are issued by the Weather Service. Burn bands are
- 6:14Speaker 1: issued by local county offices or whatever you know. So
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's the red flag warnings. As you've been already explained
- 6:21Speaker 1: what the conditions mean. It's basically saying the conditions are
- 6:24Speaker 1: perfect for, you know, something to happen that's not very great, but.
- 6:28Speaker 2: A California moment.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what?
- 6:31Speaker 3: This This wouldn't have happened under what was the bear?
- 6:34Speaker 3: I know, I just I have just lost it. Smoky
- 6:37Speaker 3: Smokey the bear bring his aspect once they got rid
- 6:40Speaker 3: of his ship went south?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, unbelievable.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Do you guys? Do you guys remember you brought up
- 6:49Speaker 1: you brought up bears?
- 6:50Speaker 2: And I know you're a gay icon, but let's move
- 6:52Speaker 2: past it, all right. I don't have a T shirt
- 6:53Speaker 2: for you to buy yet, so until there is I
- 6:55Speaker 2: am a bear?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Have you you guys remember Scruff Gruff? There's a cartoon
- 7:02Speaker 1: for you for sure? Am I the only one who
- 7:04Speaker 1: remembers the little saying and the take a bite rhyme? Baby? Chicago, Illinois,
- 7:10Speaker 1: six oh six five to two.
- 7:12Speaker 3: But you're a nerd bro, that's yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Scruff McGruff, Chicago, Illinois, six six five two. I remember
- 7:21Speaker 1: the song even anyway, take a bite on a cry.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I was gonna say that's as far as I got,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and then, you know, I.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Just want to say this, Scruff McGruff did more for
- 7:31Speaker 1: me wanting to be a police officer than most police
- 7:35Speaker 1: officers in my life.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. What was the baseball player was that that
- 7:39Speaker 2: was paired with it? Fred McGriff, Yes, Oh, my gosh,
- 7:43Speaker 2: wasn't he didn't he have the nickname with the dog?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah, McGriff and McGruff. Wow, what a duo.
- 7:50Speaker 2: They don't make them like that anymore. All right, So listen,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I had a couple of things that I think should
- 7:57Speaker 2: be fun Brandon and myself kindness to talk about this,
- 8:01Speaker 2: and for whatever reason, a bunch of podcasts I'm listening
- 8:03Speaker 2: to are doing something similar. So so let's put our take
- 8:06Speaker 2: on it. And I think this is gonna be a
- 8:07Speaker 2: good thing. There's a lot of a lot of debait
- 8:10Speaker 2: in the world over expiration dates on food. We're going
- 8:13Speaker 2: to kind of do a little bit of a expiration
- 8:16Speaker 2: date roulette, and we're gonna say did we eat it?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Or do we eat it? So keep that in the
- 8:20Speaker 2: back of your brain. But I had a couple of
- 8:23Speaker 2: little weird food and life headlines that I think are
- 8:27Speaker 2: gonna make the boys and the listeners chuckle a little bit.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And at the time of the recording, spoiler alert, it's St.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Patti's Day. This is a this is a weird segue
- 8:36Speaker 2: from it. But I was feeling nice. I just had
- 8:38Speaker 2: to drop the kid off the dance class, the youngest,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and I said, listen, why don't we go get you
- 8:42Speaker 2: a Shamrock shake. I don't drink that shit. I don't
- 8:44Speaker 2: mess with I don't mess with mint ice cream. It's
- 8:47Speaker 2: not for me. I barely like mint toothpaste. I'm not
- 8:49Speaker 2: consuming it. But wol didn't you know the god damn
- 8:54Speaker 2: shake machine is down on Saint Patti's Day, no Shamoran shakes.
- 8:58Speaker 2: And I'm telling you that should be illegal. They should
- 9:01Speaker 2: have to refund anybody that orders one, because there was
- 9:04Speaker 2: at least four people in there that by the time
- 9:07Speaker 2: we went in there that tried to order one. We
- 9:09Speaker 2: tried to order one, and the drive through kept going
- 9:11Speaker 2: no unfortially our machines down. That is that should be
- 9:14Speaker 2: a crime, right, it should be illegal.
- 9:17Speaker 3: You can't like and I don't understand too have if
- 9:19Speaker 3: they would quit hiring somebody else that comes to fix machine,
- 9:22Speaker 3: I guess that's the problem. They only have one specific
- 9:24Speaker 3: vendor like fixes these machines apparently ridiculous. Have a bacon up,
- 9:28Speaker 3: just a blender from Walmart. Dude, make me something. I
- 9:32Speaker 3: don't care. I'm not picky. Just as long as there's
- 9:34Speaker 3: ice cream in a cup and I can drink it
- 9:35Speaker 3: through a straw, I'm sufficient and like I'm I can
- 9:39Speaker 3: suffice on that.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I mean, if they can figure out a
- 9:42Speaker 2: way to combat people wanting more money and then putting
- 9:44Speaker 2: in kis, how can they not? That's just them being stubborn.
- 9:47Speaker 2: They have the science to make soda taste better based
- 9:50Speaker 2: on the way they ship it, make it in the straw,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and you're telling me they haven't figured out a way
- 9:53Speaker 2: to make sure that goddamn shake machine is up and work.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I could see. I mean, let's be honest. If you're
- 9:58Speaker 2: rolling through the drive through it, let's say nine to
- 10:01Speaker 2: thirty ten o'clock at night, and you want to shake.
- 10:03Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna be on like shake's machines down.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Why because it's almost midnight. Get something else that's not
- 10:09Speaker 2: great for you. But when it's prime time, like between
- 10:12Speaker 2: four to seven, four to eight, that that shake machine's
- 10:16Speaker 2: got to work.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Absolutely yea, it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Might No, I just I'll say this. I mean, we've
- 10:22Speaker 1: all experienced McDonald's machines being down and not working, et cetera,
- 10:26Speaker 1: et cetera. At the very least, don't have it, you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: have them down completely from like November to March or something.
- 10:33Speaker 1: But have a specific time that you're gonna guarantee that
- 10:35Speaker 1: you're gonna have ice cream. If you're going to sell
- 10:37Speaker 1: soft serve, you have to ensure it's something that you're
- 10:41Speaker 1: promoting that it's gonna work. I mean, I honestly, I
- 10:45Speaker 1: know there's like a probably a website that shows like
- 10:47Speaker 1: whether or not the McDonald's ice cream machine is down.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But what is the percentage of your I mean, like,
- 10:53Speaker 1: is it less than fifty that your local McDonald's doesn't
- 10:57Speaker 1: have ice cream growing? I mean that's my question.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's more accurate the local weather man predicting the
- 11:02Speaker 2: weather or the shake machine being down and let me
- 11:05Speaker 2: ask you at this point here, we all have local
- 11:07Speaker 2: ice cream stares right near us. Have you ever been
- 11:10Speaker 2: to a local ice cream store, whether it's a small
- 11:13Speaker 2: mom and pop or any ice cream store. Have you
- 11:14Speaker 2: ever ever been told that their machine, their soft server
- 11:17Speaker 2: machine has been down? I never have.
- 11:21Speaker 3: The only place that I've seen it consistently is Cases.
- 11:25Speaker 3: I love me some Casey's gas station. But there are
- 11:27Speaker 3: times where we're out in the middle of nowhere ball games, Matt,
- 11:30Speaker 3: you know how it is, and there's the only thing
- 11:32Speaker 3: available is this gas station.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And they have excellent, pretty big chain, right they.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I mean, at least in the Midwest. I believe they are.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Like their pizza is stellar, you know. Brandon and I
- 11:40Speaker 3: you know, will always talk. We'll praise Cases all day. Unfortunately,
- 11:44Speaker 3: the ice cream machine is typically down that and their
- 11:47Speaker 3: icy machine fix that shop?
- 11:50Speaker 2: What have you? So, you have a local ice cream
- 11:52Speaker 2: shop probably near you right like that just doesn't have
- 11:54Speaker 2: you ever has their machine ever been down?
- 11:57Speaker 3: Never?
- 11:58Speaker 2: I'm starting to think that maybe this is a conspiracy theory.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Maybe it's just bigger chains that are like, we make
- 12:04Speaker 2: enough money anyways, the hell with it. And maybe it's
- 12:07Speaker 2: just not trained employees or lazy employees. I just don't
- 12:10Speaker 2: want to keep it going well.
- 12:12Speaker 3: And why not just have more than one, because I mean,
- 12:14Speaker 3: that's that's another thing as well, like you have a
- 12:16Speaker 3: backup one. You make this much funny, and you can't
- 12:18Speaker 3: put a backup mcflurry machine.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I mean in our area there's two drive through windows
- 12:24Speaker 2: that they never use. Just put the other the other
- 12:27Speaker 2: soft serve ice cream milkshake thing in that other drive through.
- 12:30Speaker 2: What about a drive up, make your own milkshake and
- 12:33Speaker 2: then if it's down, then use the other one. McDonald's.
- 12:38Speaker 2: You listening so many ideas.
- 12:40Speaker 1: What's the closest McDonald's see you? What town for men.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Is?
- 12:49Speaker 3: They're both probably about twenty five miles Maryville, Prayville's probably yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 3: I'd say it's probably like twenty three rounding up.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So yeah, So I shared it in the in the chat.
- 13:00Speaker 1: There's a website. You probably already knew about this micbroken
- 13:03Speaker 1: dot com. No, that's brilliant, so you could. And I
- 13:07Speaker 1: was looking at mine. I have two in my town
- 13:09Speaker 1: and both of them are working right now, and so.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna get on here right now. And if
- 13:13Speaker 2: it's obviously it's irrelevant at the time there, But I'm
- 13:15Speaker 2: gonna I'm gonna look at mine. I'm gonna say, shit's broken.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It tells you green light, red light. Huh.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Eleven point seven percent apparently are currently broken, twenty two
- 13:28Speaker 2: and a half percent in Philly, twenty percent New York
- 13:31Speaker 2: are broken. Interesting.
- 13:35Speaker 3: You know what it's according to this? It is sane
- 13:39Speaker 3: that I only have two broken and like a sixty
- 13:43Speaker 3: mile radius. That's saying something because that's there's only one
- 13:47Speaker 3: down in Kansas City. That can't be accurate. Well, I
- 13:50Speaker 3: guess it's only showing me one Kansas City.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Shit the place I'm seeing more and can I'm seeing
- 13:55Speaker 1: like five or six in Kansas City just by looking. Sorry,
- 13:57Speaker 1: not good.
- 13:58Speaker 2: No, No, I was just gonna say the place that
- 14:00Speaker 2: I wanted to report that it was not It's already
- 14:01Speaker 2: says it's not working. I don't know how they know this.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I don't know how it broken works. But actually I'm
- 14:06Speaker 2: gonna click it because it says, how does this website work?
- 14:09Speaker 1: Now?
- 14:09Speaker 2: This person? Rashik says they reverse engineer McDonald's internal API
- 14:14Speaker 2: and currently placing an order with eighteen, seven hundred and
- 14:16Speaker 2: fifty two every minute at every McDonald's in the US
- 14:19Speaker 2: to figure out which locations have a broken ice cream machine.
- 14:22Speaker 1: So they don't have people reporting it. They just have
- 14:24Speaker 1: like a machine that doesn't.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like they have a machine that reaches
- 14:28Speaker 2: out every so often to place an order to see
- 14:32Speaker 2: if it comes in out of stock or something.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Now that naturally, Philadelphia is like the number one city
- 14:39Speaker 3: on here, at least on my end. It's showing now
- 14:41Speaker 3: twenty two zero point five percent of mcflurry machines.
- 14:46Speaker 2: No wonder why they're so angry in that town.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Dude, I gotta tell you that's what make me racist too, honestly,
- 14:53Speaker 3: But I gotta be up there.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I have listened. There is so many There is so
- 14:59Speaker 1: much misnown and misconceptions about rural white people in America.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You guys all know it, you see it. I have
- 15:06Speaker 1: never met anybody more racist than the people that I
- 15:10Speaker 1: know from Philadelphia. They are the most racist people I've
- 15:13Speaker 1: ever met in my life.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And their Virginia is up there.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Night. I think it's tough to just clump an entire
- 15:22Speaker 1: place you know and say they are aren't. But even
- 15:27Speaker 1: just saying Philadelphia feel terrible in saying that. I don't.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But I've got some friends from Kensington, which is not
- 15:32Speaker 1: a great area of Philly, and they are the most
- 15:35Speaker 1: white trash. Just do not know, like everybody in their
- 15:39Speaker 1: families are alcoholics, which is unfortunate and just the most.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You wouldn't want to fall asleep in their house, you know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: because you may something may come up missing a kidney,
- 15:49Speaker 1: your wallet, you know, a little.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Brand, three kids, your virginity. Yeah, well that's Kensington. I'm
- 15:58Speaker 2: sure that the rate of that is been gone for
- 16:00Speaker 2: a while. But we're talking McDonald. You're talking angry. We're
- 16:03Speaker 2: still talking angry. Did you guys hear about Louisville, Kentucky
- 16:07Speaker 2: probably pretty racist as well, that a man got arrested
- 16:11Speaker 2: for assault over cold French fries. I don't know if
- 16:15Speaker 2: you guys heard this. This is within the last couple
- 16:17Speaker 2: of weeks a person named I'm gonna say this wrong,
- 16:20Speaker 2: but I'm gonna go with the Manja James. What would
- 16:24Speaker 2: m O n j A h How would you guys
- 16:26Speaker 2: say that? Manja manha manja.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Honestly, when people start spelling things like it, my mind
- 16:32Speaker 3: goes everywhere, like I don't know what it is. People
- 16:35Speaker 3: are like, hey, al right, Like when people if I'm
- 16:36Speaker 3: on the phone for work. I'm I'm terrible at my job,
- 16:39Speaker 3: you know again, Please, They'll spell their email and I'm
- 16:43Speaker 3: like writing something down that's completely opposite of what they're
- 16:45Speaker 3: telling me, and I'm just like, Damn, that's a symptom
- 16:48Speaker 3: for something I need to know for it because they're
- 16:51Speaker 3: I need help.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that is definitely a symptom. But old Manja James Wooden,
- 16:57Speaker 2: twenty five, was arrested after allegedly shooting a Wendy's employee.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Shooting at a Wendy's employee, it says in the headline
- 17:03Speaker 2: shooting a Wendy's employee during an argument over cold French fries.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It obviously escalated when James wooton he went through the
- 17:12Speaker 2: drive through, got some fries, was pissed they were cold,
- 17:16Speaker 2: then walked into the place, started screaming, shooting, and then
- 17:19Speaker 2: apparently allegedly the employee shoots back, not very good shots,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and they sustained a couple of injuries. Thankfully, everybody survived,
- 17:28Speaker 2: and there was an arrest for the person coming in
- 17:32Speaker 2: to do there. So, I mean, let's be honest, we're
- 17:35Speaker 2: in a different mind frame. We've been pissed off cold
- 17:38Speaker 2: fries isn't gonna be something that is going to escalate
- 17:40Speaker 2: that quickly. But if you get some cold fries, are
- 17:42Speaker 2: you at least somebody that's going to go back in
- 17:44Speaker 2: and be like, listen, these things are ice cold, or
- 17:47Speaker 2: I know, at least you, but in myself's case, by
- 17:49Speaker 2: the time that we get home anyways, the cold the
- 17:50Speaker 2: fries are cold. But I mean, if you like it
- 17:53Speaker 2: comes right out of the drive through, you go to
- 17:55Speaker 2: grab one and they're cold as hell, are you just
- 17:58Speaker 2: going with it or are you gonna go back and
- 17:59Speaker 2: be like listen?
- 18:02Speaker 3: Normally I wouldn't complain, like because I've watched Waiting so
- 18:05Speaker 3: many times, but I feel like it's all about your
- 18:08Speaker 3: approach and how you uh, you know, just explain the situation.
- 18:12Speaker 3: As long as you're like coming out guns hot like
- 18:14Speaker 3: a dickhead, they'll usually fix it, you know, like, oh sorry, man,
- 18:17Speaker 3: you're done with kids and potheads. I could relate, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 3: to one of those things. But yeah, I mean Vouid
- 18:23Speaker 3: crash out though, because Wendy's fries are delicious, top tier
- 18:27Speaker 3: French fry, Sea salt all the way. But no, no
- 18:31Speaker 3: guns are blazon.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Though, no, so there's a. I've told you if I
- 18:36Speaker 1: talk to you guys about the Taco Bell in my area.
- 18:41Speaker 2: So we think so, but I'm just gonna say yes
- 18:43Speaker 2: because we love Taco Bell and food.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's okay. So we went there six months ago and
- 18:49Speaker 1: and I tell you it took me an hour and
- 18:52Speaker 1: drive through. I mean it took me a full hour
- 18:54Speaker 1: and drove and there was only like eight cars ahead
- 18:58Speaker 1: of us. It wasn't you know. It was a and
- 19:00Speaker 1: sides were closed because you know, they're short staffed and stuff.
- 19:04Speaker 1: They're doing the best they can. They're just workers trying
- 19:05Speaker 1: to fuck you their job, management or whoever just fight
- 19:07Speaker 1: up somewhere, who knows. Whatever. But we went back and
- 19:12Speaker 1: I ordered on the app and there was same amount
- 19:14Speaker 1: of cars ahead of us. It didn't take this long.
- 19:16Speaker 1: This time took like twenty minutes. It wasn't too bad.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I get to the front and they give me. First
- 19:21Speaker 1: of all, they go, what did what did you have?
- 19:24Speaker 1: And I go, I had the mobile order Brandon mcgrmott
- 19:28Speaker 1: and oh all right, man, all right cool. Then they
- 19:30Speaker 1: had me a bag and I go, what about my drinks?
- 19:33Speaker 1: He goes, you didn't have any? And I was like,
- 19:36Speaker 1: are you sure, and I go, oh no, I go,
- 19:38Speaker 1: you're probably right. I didn't even chat at this point,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like it was the equivalent of him trying to spell
- 19:43Speaker 1: something to me. I couldn't, like in the moment of thinking,
- 19:45Speaker 1: there's people behind me there in a hurry, I'm trying
- 19:48Speaker 1: to open the app to find stuff. I couldn't like
- 19:50Speaker 1: quite make it work to have everything open up and
- 19:52Speaker 1: read it. So I was just like, you're probably right,
- 19:54Speaker 1: don't worry about it's fine, he goes, But you are
- 19:55Speaker 1: missing an etch a lot of here. He goes, sure,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I can get you a drink, man, you want to drink.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I go, oh no, dud, don't worry about it. Don
- 20:01Speaker 1: worry about it, the point being, and I go, appreciate
- 20:04Speaker 1: what you do with it. Thanks everything. Blah blah blah.
- 20:05Speaker 1: We have this terrible Facebook page of U, and I'm
- 20:07Speaker 1: sure you guys will have it too. It's called Hastings,
- 20:10Speaker 1: Complaints and Confessions, and everybody posted everybody, Oh my god,
- 20:16Speaker 1: everybody posts anonymously, and so it's just the most hideous,
- 20:20Speaker 1: gross stuff from people, people threatening and calling each other diddlers,
- 20:27Speaker 1: to which if that's accurate, you should turn it into
- 20:31Speaker 1: the police. And these diddlers should be taken to jail.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Like everybody agrees with that.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And you know the police is monitoring that page.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Oh they should be. But the thing is these vigilantes
- 20:39Speaker 1: think they're going to go out and and and and
- 20:42Speaker 1: be scruff McGruff, but in reality they're not. They're just
- 20:45Speaker 1: going to have an actual law enforcement investigation and somebody
- 20:51Speaker 1: and cause exactly other children or somebody else to be
- 20:53Speaker 1: hear blah blahlah blah blah blah blah. One of the
- 20:55Speaker 1: big things they also complain about is just every fast
- 20:57Speaker 1: food restaurant Sonic takes too long, Naco Bell takes too long,
- 21:01Speaker 1: Whndy's burgers were cold. I've been into a chicken nugget
- 21:04Speaker 1: that wasn't all the way cooked. You know, have you
- 21:07Speaker 1: contacted the location to tell them that you had a problem. No,
- 21:12Speaker 1: well listen, now you're causing it. Just it breeds this
- 21:16Speaker 1: self hatred of everything here and nobody supports businesses and
- 21:20Speaker 1: it just drives me bonkers, is what it does.
- 21:22Speaker 2: And it's even worse because if that happens to a
- 21:24Speaker 2: Mom Pas shop or you know what I mean, the
- 21:26Speaker 2: smaller business, and it doesn't nobody goes there anymore. But
- 21:29Speaker 2: McDonald's and I think we've probably talked about it. Any
- 21:31Speaker 2: of those fast food ones mess it up. They I mean,
- 21:34Speaker 2: let's be honest, you waited an hour, had shitty service.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Have you been back to that taco bell?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Well? Right, you know what. But but to your point too,
- 21:42Speaker 1: they also have the means to within reason. There are
- 21:45Speaker 1: a franchise e. So it's like still a person making
- 21:47Speaker 1: a risk, but they have the means within reason to
- 21:50Speaker 1: try to, you know, get through the storm, so to speak.
- 21:53Speaker 1: A small mom and pop business, they don't got that.
- 21:55Speaker 1: You get one, two or three chances to get somebody,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and if you don't, you don't. And then there's this
- 22:00Speaker 1: forever opinion of their chicken fried steak was chewy. There
- 22:04Speaker 1: don't bake their own pizza crusts, you know, like whatever
- 22:08Speaker 1: the case may be.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that's an hard world problem.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I didn't. We used Chipotle a lot. And last Thursday
- 22:17Speaker 3: I like Betubs, Buffalo Wild Wings their Bogo boneless special
- 22:21Speaker 3: on Thursday, delicious, bite me. I don't care if they
- 22:23Speaker 3: are boneless whatever, chicken nuggets delicious. The missus wanted to brito,
- 22:27Speaker 3: got a brito, got home. It was a completely different brito.
- 22:32Speaker 3: She wanted chicken. There was steak in there, there was
- 22:34Speaker 3: corn in there. When she was like she's like, I'm
- 22:35Speaker 3: still gonna eat it, She's like, but not what I ordered.
- 22:38Speaker 3: And I was like, you know what, we just drove
- 22:41Speaker 3: all that way. It's not cheap for a brito there.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And I was like, I'm I'm gonna call them up
- 22:46Speaker 3: and just let them know trying to get this free,
- 22:48Speaker 3: you know or something.
- 22:50Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, you'll be back.
- 22:51Speaker 3: So I called the store and you can never get
- 22:53Speaker 3: a hold of anybody, and they're like, hey, if you
- 22:54Speaker 3: want to talk about an incorrect order, just visit the app.
- 22:57Speaker 3: And I'm like, I can't be this easy. Click on
- 23:00Speaker 3: pepper is the little helpful assistant over there went through it.
- 23:04Speaker 3: They're like, hey, this is a recent order. Is this
- 23:05Speaker 3: is this correct? I'm like yep, yep, boom boom, and
- 23:08Speaker 3: they're like, so sorry that happened. We've refunded it to
- 23:11Speaker 3: your card or not. So we didn't refund your card.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We gave you enough points on the app to get
- 23:16Speaker 3: another entree for free. And I'm like, okay, Like that
- 23:19Speaker 3: was that was quick. That was actually not bad. I
- 23:22Speaker 3: didn't have to speak to anybody, shout out just Chipotle, Cheepottle,
- 23:26Speaker 3: whatever you call it, delicious.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I went the situation. Oh, we were driving through and
- 23:33Speaker 2: Arbi's the other day. They had the meats and when
- 23:36Speaker 2: we popped in, I just did a quick online order
- 23:38Speaker 2: just love for a deal. Went in and they're like,
- 23:40Speaker 2: what's the name on it? So I tell them, no,
- 23:42Speaker 2: the last name. So I tell them, okay, we just
- 23:44Speaker 2: have to confirm because you wouldn't believe the amount of
- 23:46Speaker 2: people that just come in and then just take the
- 23:48Speaker 2: to go orders and then leave. And I'm like, no,
- 23:51Speaker 2: I would, but I think that I would ask more
- 23:53Speaker 2: questions than the last name because I can read it
- 23:55Speaker 2: on the monitor. And she goes, that's a good idea.
- 23:59Speaker 2: We need a better process, and I'm like, you guys
- 24:01Speaker 2: are Arbi's.
- 24:03Speaker 1: You know what, it's McDonald's just has a shelf. You
- 24:06Speaker 1: just come pick it up from the shell like that.
- 24:07Speaker 1: There's there's no way, it's one hundred percent people are
- 24:09Speaker 1: getting their stuff.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Have you ever thought about just going in there and
- 24:12Speaker 3: taking one? Because I think about it all the time,
- 24:13Speaker 3: but I'm never ballsy enough to do it.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm not pout like I don't know respectfully, if I'm
- 24:19Speaker 1: to the point in my life I'm stealing food like
- 24:21Speaker 1: things are bad boys. But yes, I think you think
- 24:23Speaker 1: about other people doing it, and if I was in
- 24:25Speaker 1: a certain spot, i'd probably do it and I wouldn't whatever.
- 24:28Speaker 1: But the other thing I was gonna say with this
- 24:30Speaker 1: is is this is something I've thought of for a
- 24:32Speaker 1: long time, and we've talked about this on the show,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and I think this is why this is such a
- 24:36Speaker 1: great show, because we talk about consumerism, we talk about
- 24:39Speaker 1: the cost of living, we talk about the cost of food.
- 24:42Speaker 1: The cost of fast food has gone up, and it's
- 24:45Speaker 1: gone up to the point of how much it costs
- 24:47Speaker 1: to cook at home and how much you're getting out
- 24:48Speaker 1: of it, or it's also surpassing, if not going past
- 24:52Speaker 1: actually going to I can go to Applebee's and get
- 24:55Speaker 1: three things for ten ninety nine. Now you can't do
- 24:58Speaker 1: that at McDonald's. And so like, there are restaurants like Applebee's.
- 25:02Speaker 1: They're not all of them doing this, but like that
- 25:04Speaker 1: are trying to stayhead of the curve. And that's what's
- 25:06Speaker 1: good about capitalism is that you know, the best survived.
- 25:09Speaker 1: So to speak. I apologize my daughter, Dad, Dad, Dad.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I love it because mine are a little bit older,
- 25:16Speaker 2: so I don't get those moments anymore where it's dad, dad, dad,
- 25:19Speaker 2: dad dead until it's like what what youre doing? Like
- 25:23Speaker 2: that traditional farm I just heard like one or two
- 25:27Speaker 2: dads at the end.
- 25:27Speaker 1: But but anyway, so my point with that is just
- 25:30Speaker 1: to say this is that we we all we're all
- 25:31Speaker 1: aware of this. This isn't new. We've talked about it
- 25:33Speaker 1: one hundred times probably in the last two years individually
- 25:35Speaker 1: in our lives, on the podcast and probably on tiktoks
- 25:38Speaker 1: or whatever else. I'm to the point where shit gets
- 25:41Speaker 1: up so much. I know it's your money. So I'm
- 25:44Speaker 1: not saying this is right for you. I'm saying this
- 25:45Speaker 1: is what I do with my life. Okay, I'm not
- 25:47Speaker 1: saying you should do this because I think I have
- 25:49Speaker 1: the best idea forever about Ay No, that's not what
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm saying. What I'm saying this is what I do
- 25:53Speaker 1: is I just say it's a through lett Re wheel
- 25:55Speaker 1: and I may get all twenty items I ordered from
- 25:58Speaker 1: Taco Bell and trust me, yes, it's that big one
- 26:00Speaker 1: I ordered from Taco Bum. It's for a family of
- 26:03Speaker 1: four for the record, but nineteen out of the twenty
- 26:07Speaker 1: or twenty out of the twenty. I'm not getting that
- 26:09Speaker 1: you're getting fifteen. You got like fourteen of them, correct
- 26:12Speaker 1: and they miss six, you know, or something like that.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Or sometimes you order twenty, you get twenty six. Sometimes
- 26:16Speaker 2: order twenty, you give fifteen. Like you said, I.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Didn't order a cheeseburger. Okay, But my point is that
- 26:21Speaker 1: this is either do like you been did and there's
- 26:24Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that, go through the app, contact the manager,
- 26:27Speaker 1: do what you gotta do, or just live with what
- 26:29Speaker 1: you got and realize when you go to fast food
- 26:31Speaker 1: you're working with not low skilled but low age workers.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You're working with people who are probably high because God
- 26:37Speaker 1: bless them, they have to deal with people like you
- 26:39Speaker 1: going through the fort And I'm not talking to you boys,
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And un offended and oh I was gonna say, I'm
- 26:45Speaker 2: app only they don't have to listen to me.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Well, I've got an email you can contact and uh,
- 26:49Speaker 1: we'll get back to you. But you know, like, who
- 26:51Speaker 1: cares it's food if it's that big of the deal.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And you've been experiencing this enough to say this is
- 26:56Speaker 1: the fifth time, learn your lesson and stay at home. Marjorie.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Marjorie, little bitch. I like Marjorine instead of Karen.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Reminds me of butter. Hey, you did say, Rolette. You
- 27:07Speaker 2: know what that triggers? This triggers expiration date, Rolette. I'm
- 27:13Speaker 2: gonna name a couple of items and we're gonna we
- 27:15Speaker 2: can go free flow as much as you want. But
- 27:17Speaker 2: more importantly, you're still gonna try it. You're still gonna
- 27:20Speaker 2: drink it, eat it whatever. First one's gotta be milk.
- 27:23Speaker 2: The expiration date is over. Do you drink the milk
- 27:27Speaker 2: and it's fine? Or are you a team instantly dump
- 27:30Speaker 2: it down the dream.
- 27:32Speaker 1: It's gotta pass the sniff test open, And the problem
- 27:35Speaker 1: is is that I'm usually drinking from it, So now
- 27:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to drink I'm gonna have to smell
- 27:39Speaker 1: from a fucking milk container that had my mouth on
- 27:42Speaker 1: it from a week ago. Maybe, so let's hope it
- 27:44Speaker 1: doesn't stink. But if it passed the sniff test and
- 27:47Speaker 1: it doesn't even smell a little bit bad, I'm probably
- 27:49Speaker 1: gonna drink it.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Firm believer that there's there's like a forty eight hour
- 27:54Speaker 3: rule on milk past the expiration date. Once it goes
- 27:58Speaker 3: past that, even if I sniff it that passes the
- 28:00Speaker 3: sniff test, I'm like, I don't trust it. So I'm
- 28:05Speaker 3: forty dollars because I've sniffed it even before the expiration
- 28:08Speaker 3: date and thought it smelt like ass and I so
- 28:11Speaker 3: I may have dumped a good milk down before, but
- 28:14Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know.
- 28:15Speaker 2: See, I have to go with the taste test because
- 28:17Speaker 2: sometimes the seal on the milk will stink just from
- 28:20Speaker 2: pouring it. So if I'm like, okay, yep, then if
- 28:24Speaker 2: I pour it, then I taste it, and then if
- 28:26Speaker 2: it's bad, then it kind of ruins your day. And
- 28:28Speaker 2: it's like, I don't want this milk anyways it's getting
- 28:29Speaker 2: dumped down. But if it's like, nah, it's good, I don't.
- 28:32Speaker 2: To be honestly, I don't even look at the date anymore.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I just I go with the straight you know.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Look at it from the side. Is it separated? You know?
- 28:40Speaker 1: I think you know that's good. I'm kidding. I had
- 28:42Speaker 1: a buddy, who you ever anybody who shook milk. It's
- 28:45Speaker 1: like a big old gallon. I would just shake it
- 28:46Speaker 1: up before they would pour it.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Should do that again. No, well, actually yes, it's common
- 28:52Speaker 2: around here because local farmers and especially back in the
- 28:54Speaker 2: day compared to them back I mean, my grandparent, my
- 28:57Speaker 2: grandpa's had a farm. My dad remembers going out to
- 28:59Speaker 2: the test and just getting a thing of milk out
- 29:01Speaker 2: of it, and then sometimes you have to scrape a
- 29:03Speaker 2: little bit off. But then you just they're like, warm milk,
- 29:06Speaker 2: that's what it's I mean, that's a little bit different.
- 29:07Speaker 2: But yeah, they would shake it to mix up the pasteurization.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I had a buddy whould rink it with ice too,
- 29:13Speaker 1: like a different day.
- 29:14Speaker 2: My dad's a one ice cube guy, and I'm like,
- 29:16Speaker 2: why do you do that? He goes, you spend enough
- 29:18Speaker 2: time drinking warm milk from the tank and ice cubes
- 29:20Speaker 2: a pretty goddamn good treat.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see that.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't question that anymore. Anyway, let's go with
- 29:28Speaker 2: the let's go with the hot item. Eggs. Do you
- 29:30Speaker 2: ever check the date, do the float test, or do
- 29:33Speaker 2: you just go for it?
- 29:34Speaker 1: I've I think eggs are very They're a weird one
- 29:37Speaker 1: because I've had eggs that have gone bad by the
- 29:40Speaker 1: expiration date that I've cooked like a week or two later,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and I think they're good, probably two to three weeks afterwards.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I've never done any float tests. I know there is one.
- 29:49Speaker 1: If I crack it open and it smells bad or
- 29:51Speaker 1: there's red, I'm not eating it. That's the two things,
- 29:53Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, what's a bad egg?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Look like I was gonna say, you be and you
- 29:57Speaker 2: have a lot of fresh eggs, So I mean you
- 29:59Speaker 2: can technically keep ears on the counter until you wash them.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Yeah, up to ninety days, I believe, is what they
- 30:05Speaker 3: say for unwashed eggs. I don't know when they go
- 30:08Speaker 3: bad though, because I mean I don't eat eggs. I'm not.
- 30:12Speaker 3: We go through them so fast that like I'll make
- 30:14Speaker 3: scrambled eggs for the kids and stuff. But I mean
- 30:17Speaker 3: we go through easily a dozen and a half a week.
- 30:23Speaker 3: We go through some eggs.
- 30:24Speaker 2: See I eat That's what I eat every morning. I
- 30:26Speaker 2: eat two to three eggs. So I mean they say,
- 30:28Speaker 2: because if I remember right, by the time the eggs
- 30:32Speaker 2: come from whatever factories they typically come from, and then
- 30:34Speaker 2: you get them, then they get to the store, usually
- 30:36Speaker 2: you can get three to five weeks or so I think.
- 30:40Speaker 2: But it's and I think a lot of the things
- 30:43Speaker 2: is how good does it taste like? I don't think
- 30:45Speaker 2: you're gonna get Salmonelli or something. I mean, you're however
- 30:47Speaker 2: the hell you say it or spell it because you're
- 30:49Speaker 2: gonna cook them anyways. It's not unless you're like pulling
- 30:51Speaker 2: a rocky move, which I've never I've done once and
- 30:54Speaker 2: that was a big mistake.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I know you said salmonella, but it sounded like you
- 30:58Speaker 1: said Salmonelli. And now he like sounds like Italian guy.
- 31:00Speaker 2: You don't want to talk to you Salmonelli.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Hey no, don't make me give Shamonelli a call.
- 31:05Speaker 3: See I immediately thought Cinderelli, Cinderelli. I thought from that
- 31:09Speaker 3: mass I'm a child apparently, damn.
- 31:13Speaker 2: That's it. Another one. What about yogurt?
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's a weird one, man. Another sniff test. It's a
- 31:19Speaker 1: sniff test, you know. I don't like the sourness of
- 31:22Speaker 1: yogurt anyway, So if there's fruit in it, I may,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I may eat it, even if it is a little bad.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But I yeah, that's you're you're messing with fire there.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I don't with yogurt, so I can't not really they
- 31:37Speaker 3: were my things. Uh see, yeah, I can't can't tell
- 31:40Speaker 3: you it's always gonna smell and probably look like as
- 31:42Speaker 3: to meat.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, last one cheese the cheese. And it's hard to
- 31:46Speaker 2: do a smell test with someone because some are stinky cheeses.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Some are there. And to be honest with you, I
- 31:50Speaker 2: used to eat a lot of cheese until the gall
- 31:52Speaker 2: bladder went and if there was a little bit of
- 31:53Speaker 2: mold on it, I cut off that mold and I
- 31:55Speaker 2: still eat that goddamn thing. Or my brain said, hey,
- 31:58Speaker 2: let's go cut on a grilled cheese. It'll be it'll
- 32:00Speaker 2: be fine. You cook anything, it's good.
- 32:03Speaker 1: If it's cheese. Man, And I got a bag of
- 32:05Speaker 1: cheese or a block of cheese and there's mold on it,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I'm just tossing the whole thing sadly, sadly, and it hurts.
- 32:13Speaker 1: It hurts, it does.
- 32:14Speaker 3: My Grandma used to be like, if there was like
- 32:16Speaker 3: hamburger buns and only one of it, one of them
- 32:18Speaker 3: had just like a little bit of moldernut, She's like, ah,
- 32:21Speaker 3: that was the bad one. She's like, there's always the one.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, no, if there was, if it
- 32:27Speaker 3: has a little green dot, even if I'm looking at
- 32:29Speaker 3: it and I'm like look, I'm staring at the package.
- 32:31Speaker 3: I'm like, his dad looks a little green thrown away. Nope,
- 32:35Speaker 3: don't with that.
- 32:36Speaker 2: That's fair. It's not worth the diarrhea.
- 32:39Speaker 3: No with cheese, tho, with like shreaded cheese, you're supposed
- 32:41Speaker 3: to throw away like a week after opening. You see
- 32:44Speaker 3: that in the package.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you're talking, and to your point, you're talking soft cheese.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Bro.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You see green in some soft white or yellow cheese.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Now that's growing fast. The whole bag is contaminated. You know.
- 32:56Speaker 2: That's why kids are pussies these days. They don't even
- 32:58Speaker 2: eat any molds made penicillin. Yeh, all right, all right,
- 33:03Speaker 2: I got one more game before we get out of here.
- 33:05Speaker 2: This one's gonna be fun. I think we got time.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I'm jumping into this. This is gonna be the fast
- 33:10Speaker 2: food draft, the ultimate late night meal. How this is
- 33:14Speaker 2: gonna work. We're gonna go mean dish aside a drink
- 33:18Speaker 2: and maybe if we have time of dessert. So how
- 33:19Speaker 2: it's gonna work? Mean dish? You know, obviously like a burger, chicken, sandwich, taco, steak, pasta,
- 33:25Speaker 2: whatever it is. When somebody picks it, it's off the board. Okay,
- 33:30Speaker 2: let's see who can come up with the best late
- 33:33Speaker 2: night or fast food. It's got to be fast food,
- 33:35Speaker 2: so somewhere that you can get from wherever. And Brandon,
- 33:39Speaker 2: you're the food daddy. I'm gonna let you go. Then
- 33:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna let you ban. I'll bring up the rear
- 33:43Speaker 2: giggy cheeseburger, cheeseburger solid.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I was gonna say bacon cheeseburger, but it's this cheeseburger.
- 33:52Speaker 2: You can add the bacon.
- 33:53Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, bacon cheeseburger. I like it. So cheeseburger's off
- 33:57Speaker 2: the board. Youban pizza.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I was I was thinking I was gonna be my
- 34:02Speaker 1: number one too.
- 34:03Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go tacos. Then
- 34:05Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna mess around.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna go.
- 34:10Speaker 2: There we go. So we got Brandon's got the bag
- 34:12Speaker 2: and cheeseburger, You'van's got some pizza, and I got some tacos.
- 34:16Speaker 2: So now we're gonna go with a side. We're gonna
- 34:18Speaker 2: snake draft this. I'm gonna go French fries because I'm
- 34:22Speaker 2: not giving Brandon the burger and the fries. That's just
- 34:26Speaker 2: just not fair. So that means you've.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Ben take all potatoes or does that take.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna say just French fries. So I mean, if
- 34:32Speaker 2: you're ordering anything whatever, you can still get you know,
- 34:36Speaker 2: the onion rings.
- 34:37Speaker 1: But can I get curly fries or tater tots? Do
- 34:40Speaker 1: you see what I mean?
- 34:41Speaker 3: That's I would say, if you're taking fry, you would
- 34:44Speaker 3: take all of them.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Just because I say all the fries are gone. I
- 34:46Speaker 2: think tater tots is still on the on the board.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I see them different.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I disagree, but that's another argument. All right, nachos.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Like this you just touched. In my mind's kind of
- 35:03Speaker 1: two main dishes, is it? So?
- 35:05Speaker 3: I'm thinking, so I classify nachos in is the chips
- 35:08Speaker 3: and cheese or like, okay, if you how about chips
- 35:11Speaker 3: and salsa, I'll mix it up chips and salsa.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I see nachos as well as there because you, at
- 35:17Speaker 2: least where I'm from, you can get them as an
- 35:19Speaker 2: appetizer a lot. It's not exactly a main dish. It
- 35:21Speaker 2: would be a shareable or a side or so maybe.
- 35:24Speaker 3: You go to like Taco Bell they have the chips
- 35:26Speaker 3: and cheese often, so that's that's the nacho in my mind.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I got you.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I like it. Okay, Yeah, it's tough for huh.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You know it's bad and you're overthinking things when you're
- 35:42Speaker 1: thinking about getting a side salad.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I was looking at that and I was like, can't
- 35:46Speaker 3: bring myself to do it.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I don't want to do tater tots because you're gonna
- 35:51Speaker 1: think cafeteria or tater tots. And I can't do poutine
- 35:55Speaker 1: because the man took fries.
- 35:58Speaker 2: What about what about some onion rings that's different than
- 36:01Speaker 2: a fry. I forgot about rings that'd be a good choice.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with onion petals, which your onion.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Rings, but just cut differently, just fancy. Yeah, okay, all right,
- 36:13Speaker 2: So we got Brandon. Jay's got the bacon, cheeseburger onion petals,
- 36:17Speaker 2: and he's on the clock for a drink. We're gonna
- 36:19Speaker 2: go drink. So if somebody says soft drink, all soft
- 36:22Speaker 2: drinks off there. So you got soft drinks, shakes, whatever
- 36:25Speaker 2: else could be for a beverage. Even's got the pizza, nachos,
- 36:29Speaker 2: and I got tacos and French fries.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You boys, if I eat a cheeseburger, onion rings or
- 36:35Speaker 1: onion petals and ice cream my wife will let me
- 36:39Speaker 1: sleep in the same room with her like unders hours later,
- 36:41Speaker 1: and it would just.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Be one of those I have that let alone all three.
- 36:46Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with diet coke.
- 36:49Speaker 2: So soft drink, Okay, soft drinks off the board. Even
- 36:54Speaker 2: what are you having with those pizza and nachos.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Dude, I'm having a nice cold beer, you've.
- 37:01Speaker 1: See.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I didn't know if I didn't know if we could
- 37:03Speaker 2: say that like there. But there is some places that
- 37:05Speaker 2: are technically fast food that.
- 37:07Speaker 3: I have, sandwich shops that have a nice cold beer
- 37:10Speaker 3: that you can have. He love it.
- 37:12Speaker 2: That's that's well done. All right, Well, you know what
- 37:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with the shake? Then, guys left it
- 37:18Speaker 2: on the table, A good old, good old shake.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Gotta go with frozen Michael J fawks go in the hell.
- 37:28Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 37:28Speaker 2: We'll see you there, buddy. You think we leave it
- 37:30Speaker 2: at that? Or do we should? We should we try
- 37:32Speaker 2: to go with a fast food dessert to really round
- 37:34Speaker 2: up this meal.
- 37:35Speaker 3: We gotta do the dessert. Gotta do it. You had
- 37:38Speaker 3: a shake, and I want to see you like you're
- 37:39Speaker 3: gonna have a shake add a dessert? Amateur move.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I know, you know what I'm gonna do, though, I'm
- 37:45Speaker 2: gonna go I think this one. I think I'm gonna
- 37:48Speaker 2: go with a like a McDonald's apple pie of some sort.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Mix it up a little bit, you know. Yeah, you
- 37:53Speaker 2: get that milkshake with a nice you know, bring a home,
- 37:55Speaker 2: throw it in there and toast up that apple pie.
- 37:59Speaker 3: You know what I'm gonna finish mine with. I gotta
- 38:03Speaker 3: go with the DQ blizzard.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Baby, that was that was gonna be it. But I
- 38:07Speaker 2: can't go shake in blizzard.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Oh God, Mine, I just if you guys want to
- 38:11Speaker 3: know what a successful draft looks like. God, that's so good.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I agree mineus the whole idea of drinking beer and
- 38:17Speaker 1: ice cream together. But you're gonna have the shits like
- 38:21Speaker 1: that's gonna be your name, dude. The ships it already
- 38:24Speaker 1: should be.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Honestly, the ship is it dud da shits all right?
- 38:28Speaker 1: The ship nater And it's a great draft though, I'll
- 38:31Speaker 1: give you that. I would go with three, and it
- 38:35Speaker 1: doesn't matter what number. But I'm going with three because
- 38:37Speaker 1: you can buy them this way.
- 38:38Speaker 3: McDonald's cookies, well cookie solid chocolate chip, the dessert that
- 38:43Speaker 3: I was thinking of originally was. I don't know if
- 38:45Speaker 3: you guys remember this, the KFC chocolate cake.
- 38:47Speaker 1: From back in the day that was so decadent.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Dude, Oh my god, it was good, but it was
- 38:53Speaker 3: just so much it was a lie. It reminded me
- 38:55Speaker 3: of Matilda, where the kid was just going to.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Town on that big chocolate cake.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Give me that cake of sea cake.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I was gonna go with a Brookie A lot of
- 39:04Speaker 2: Brookie fans in my house.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Is that cookie with ice cream on top?
- 39:08Speaker 2: No, it's a it's a Brownie cookie mixture.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Oh, Choco taco would have been a good option too.
- 39:16Speaker 3: It's a pretty good.
- 39:18Speaker 2: To finish that up, Beard Laws with the tacos, French fries, shake,
- 39:21Speaker 2: and apple pie. You've got the pizza, Nacho's, ice cold
- 39:25Speaker 2: beer and DQ Blizzard. Brandon Jay has got the bacon cheeseburger,
- 39:29Speaker 2: onion pedal, soft drinks, three McDonald's cookies and a sleeping
- 39:33Speaker 2: on the couch. That's pretty good.
- 39:34Speaker 3: It's regardless either way, we're gonna you know, wait, we're
- 39:37Speaker 3: gonna finish all those with a shot of pepto bismo.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Hmm. It can that be one of I know they?
- 39:45Speaker 2: You know, Brandon, you threw out your little jingle with
- 39:48Speaker 2: you know, Fred McGriff. You remember that as maybe one
- 39:51Speaker 2: of the greatest, but the greatest song in mine is
- 39:53Speaker 2: upset Stomach diary. What is it? The Pepto Bismo song? Hey,
- 39:56Speaker 2: pepto bismo upstick stomach diarrhea. There's heartburn and indigestion or
- 40:02Speaker 2: something there. I guess I don't remember it. I thought
- 40:04Speaker 2: I did, but when that played, that makes a diarrhea.
- 40:08Speaker 3: I think that's I can't remember. I was always Captain Planet.
- 40:11Speaker 3: He says, protect the Pussy.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I must have missed that episode.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I mean, how do you not remember that?
- 40:19Speaker 3: God's my favorite episode. That's how I learned to become
- 40:22Speaker 3: a band.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Educational they, I guess health class was a little bit
- 40:28Speaker 2: different where my was. I was trying to look up
- 40:31Speaker 2: the pepno Bismo song, But apparently there is a band
- 40:35Speaker 2: called Boy Girl Rising that came up with a pepto
- 40:39Speaker 2: bismol song, so it's not exactly the one that I
- 40:43Speaker 2: was looking for. I hear so according to of all
- 40:46Speaker 2: the places that I've never followed the suggestions or information
- 40:49Speaker 2: qua Quara dot com. Coming through nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset
- 40:54Speaker 2: stomach diarrhea. Hey, pepto bismol. Now I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 41:00Speaker 2: listen to some boy girl rising see I would.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna eat my pizza, my nachos, drink my beer
- 41:06Speaker 3: and eat a DQ Blizzard while listening to the song
- 41:09Speaker 3: that I can remember, and that is the JG. Wentworth song. Okay,
- 41:14Speaker 3: or what was the other? There was a carpet guy too.
- 41:17Speaker 3: I forgot who that.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Aladdin one eight hundred.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Was Stanley Steamers no Empire Empire today?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Do you guys remember that one? The old guy m today?
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yes, dude, oh man, those old uh like time classic
- 41:34Speaker 3: commercials or whatever. Have you ever been entranced by some
- 41:37Speaker 3: sweet linel richie you have today with this seven dissect
- 41:43Speaker 3: just like and you just hear Celine Dion because I'm
- 41:47Speaker 3: your lady.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Just god.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Trying to sleep during the day when that is blaring
- 41:51Speaker 3: at three point thirty in the morning, beautiful time to.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Be a lot of folks fan blowing air conditioner broke,
- 41:57Speaker 1: just hot air, stinky gross air.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Gros sing gross, just cockroaches, you know, just playing whack
- 42:06Speaker 3: them all. We're trying to hit those while you're sleeping,
- 42:08Speaker 3: fitting for your life.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So it made you an arcade champ, all of them.
- 42:11Speaker 2: You could with stand the smell of an arcade. You
- 42:13Speaker 2: could win at the clown game and whack them all.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And that's what makes us today. But just looked at
- 42:19Speaker 2: the clock. We're pressed for time. Let's get out of here.

- 42:27Speaker 2: Of course, we appreciate the hell out of you. We'll
