- Najah: It's okay to walk away from a relationship with nothing but a lesson. Hear me out. A lesson is not nothing. We spend so much time thinking about what we're losing. All the time I put in, all the effort. The money, the love, And I get it. Nobody wants to feel like they invested all of that into something just for it not to work out. But we think about what we lost so much that we don't even stop to ask. What did I gain? Because sometimes the return on that relationship was the lesson. Sometimes you walk away knowing how to choose better. You know what you overlooked, you know what you won't tolerate again. What you need, what you should have paid attention to the first time. And then sometimes you walk away knowing how to do better. Maybe you have somebody good and learned too late how you should have communicated, appreciated them, loved them, or showed up. Both are valuable lessons. Think about it. Almost every good investment that gave somebody a return. Came after some bad investments taught them what not to do. Relationships ain't that different. Everything you invest in It's not going to be the thing that gives you the return that you expected. Sometimes the lesson is the return. and if the lesson helps you choose better next time. Or do better so you don't lose somebody good for you again. You didn't walk away empty handed.
