• 0:00
Speaker 1: That was going on Rome. Oh, we got a lot
• 0:01
to get into this morning. I hope you like it.
• 0:04
Let's talk about the cards you play to get what
• 0:08
you want, right, there's a lot of you out there,
• 0:10
especially in your relationships. You know, you got that card,
• 0:14
that wild card that you're just holding on to that
• 0:16
you'll play for women most of the time. It's sex,
• 0:20
you know, it's for your husbands. You just if you
• 0:22
want something out of your man, you just give him
• 0:23
sex and kind of get what you want.
• 0:26
Speaker 2: So you play the sex card.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: I was thinking about this the other day because a
• 0:30
friend of mine was over at his house and we
• 0:33
were having some beers, beers and whiskey in the backyard,
• 0:36
just hanging out, you know, and his wife he plays
• 0:40
the drunk card on her, on her husband, on my buddy,
• 0:46
and he knows it, and he still can't stop it,
• 0:50
right because he's he's kind of a cheap dude.
• 0:53
Speaker 2: Like he doesn't really like spending a lot of money.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: He doesn't really like going, you know, spending money on
• 0:58
vacations and things like that, or you know, concert tickets,
• 1:03
or he's just kind of a dude. He's kind of
• 1:04
  a stay at.
• 1:05
Speaker 2: Home dude, and he uh, but man.
• 1:09
Speaker 1: Once he once he starts having a couple, he loosens up.
• 1:15
He wants to hang out. I mean, he's a fun
• 1:17
guy when he's drunk, just absolutely incredible.
• 1:20
  Speaker 2: To be with.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: And he starts paying for stuff money, and he has money,
• 1:25
so it's not like he's breaking the bank. But every
• 1:29
time his wife wants something or she wants to get
• 1:32
something for the kids, it's kind of an extra, you know,
• 1:36
kind of a something they want that you know, he
• 1:40
really wouldn't want to buy or pay for. When he's uh,
• 1:45
you know, sober, she plays that card. She just waits
• 1:48
and now everybody knows it. Her kids, her dad's out
• 1:53
having you know, dad's drinking, having fun. He likes to
• 1:56
have more fun. You know, he figured and and he
• 1:59
knows it. We all make fun of them because of it.
• 2:02
Just wait, We even say that in our friend group,
• 2:05
like just wait till he gets drunk. Then was like
• 2:07
if we want to go, like if we want to
• 2:09
plan a weekend to go do something, we just wait
• 2:12
till he gets it, gets a little tipsy, and then
• 2:14
we say, hey, let's go do this with everybody.
• 2:16
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, let's do it. And then there you go right,
• 2:19
  So everybody's got a.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Card like that that they play with their spouse, with
• 2:24
their relationship. I mean, maybe you got a card you
• 2:27
play at work. You got a wild card in your
• 2:29
back pocket that you use to get what you want?
• 2:32
Speaker 2: What is it? And for two five four or seven
• 2:35
to seven? All right? So let's talk about the cards
• 2:38
  you play to.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: Get what you want, right, The sex card, the drunk card,
• 2:44
I don't know, pick a card that you use to
• 2:47
make me feel guilty card, whatever that may be, to
• 2:50
get what you want. Everybody does it. The sympathy card.
• 2:54
Is that what that is called? Alrighty for two to five,
• 2:56
four seven seven? In Romeo, it's funny that you say that.
• 3:00
Every time I want to go out to dinner and
• 3:04
I don't want to cook, I play the sex card
• 3:06
not having sex with my husband. I just take a shower,
• 3:09
start to get ready, walk around half naked, and he
• 3:13
starts looking at me like what's going on? And I say,
• 3:16
I just want to go out to dinner. And every
• 3:19
time he takes me out to dinner, doesn't matter if
• 3:22
he just worked all day, doesn't matter, if he's got
• 3:25
other things to do. He always takes me out to dinner.
• 3:31
But that's what I mean, it works, right. I don't
• 3:33
know if do guys have a card to play with
• 3:36
their wives? I mean, do you guys have a wild
• 3:39
card or something in your back pocket to use to
• 3:41
get what you want out of your wife or your girlfriend?
• 3:44
Or girlfriend's probably pretty easy, but your wife, I mean,
• 3:47
  how exactly does that work?
• 3:49
Speaker 2: All right? Hey? Four two five or seven to seven?
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Because men, I think men are pretty stupid, right, Either
• 3:56
you get him drunk or you give him sex, and
• 3:58
they pretty much give you whatever you want, a specially
• 4:00
if they actually love you and care about You're right,
• 4:02
It's that simple. I don't know what dudes do. What
• 4:05
card do you play to get what you want?
• 4:08
Speaker 2: Already? Four two five four seven to seven? All right?
• 4:11
Speaker 1: So everybody's got a card they play right in their
• 4:13
back pocket just in case, you know, they got to
• 4:16
use it for something to get what they want.
• 4:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you got already? Four two five, four
• 4:23
  seven to seven? A Romeo.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: I know this might sound a little shady, but I
• 4:29
am a single mom with three kids, and going out
• 4:34
to dinner is very expensive nowadays, so I always play
• 4:38
the Grandpa card, I call my dad, or I have
• 4:40
one of the kids call my dad and say, say,
• 4:44
Pop pak, can we go out to dinner? And every
• 4:47
time he says yes and takes all of us out
• 4:50
to dinner. My mom knows I play that card. She's
• 4:55
okay with it, but I don't know if he does
• 4:58
  or not.
• 4:59
Speaker 2: But it always worked. That's what I'm playing, right.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: Everybody's got a card they play, Hey roam. If I
• 5:08
need him to do something and he lags on me,
• 5:11
I explicit I explicitly say I'll just do it myself,
• 5:17
  he jumps right up.
• 5:20
Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, right. What cars do you play?
• 5:23
What cars do you play? To get what you want? Already?
• 5:26
Speaker 1: Four two five fours seven to seven? By the way,
• 5:30
that one where you uh, where you say you'll do
• 5:32
it yourself, I've heard that card where where the wife
• 5:35
will say, well, I'll just call my dad to do it,
• 5:38
and he will also jump right up and get it
• 5:40
  done already four two five.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Fours seven seven? What card do you play to get
• 5:45
what you want? Already? Four two five four seven to seven?
• 5:50
Speaker 1: Uh, Hey, rome O, My wife is down to have
• 5:53
sex with me anytime, but if I want some freaky
• 5:55
crazy sex, I have to give her a couple of
• 5:58
drinks and his own. I guess you play the drunk
• 6:04
card to get what you want too. That's all it takes.
• 6:10
Rome Hey, what I do is just always I let
• 6:16
these females know what number they are, kind of like
• 6:19
the DMV. If you're a number twelve and you know
• 6:23
there are eleven girls in front of you, you know
• 6:25
you got to step it up and go above and
• 6:27
beyond beyond to matter. I know you like to make
• 6:33
these chicks think they matter. I make sure they know
• 6:37
they only matter based off performance. If a number twelve
• 6:41
doesn't want to step up, she knows there are eleven
• 6:44
chicks that will. I usually bring out the usually brings
• 6:47
out their best efforts. Okay, I guess I guess there
• 6:52
you go. My man is running his life. He must
• 6:56
have a lot to offer. Huh yeah, I don't know. Well,
• 6:59
there you go. Already four two pout or seven and seven?
• 7:03
Already four four seven to seven. Hey, Romeo, you don't
• 7:09
think it's wrong for couples to manipulate each other like that,
• 7:13
playing a wildcard, are using some sort of sex or
• 7:17
money to get what they want.
• 7:19
Speaker 2: Out of their spouse.
• 7:20
Speaker 1: People are just supposed to love each other and do
• 7:22
things for each other because they want to, not because
• 7:26
  they get something.
• 7:27
Speaker 2: Out of it. Well, yeah, I get it.
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you're right, you're right. But unfortunately, I
• 7:37
guess you got to understand. I think most relationships today
• 7:44
are what do you call it, transactional? I mean, I
• 7:49
just I don't think just the world we live in today, man,
• 7:52
nobody's loyal, nobody cares and loves in the same way
• 7:55
that they used to. I just I mean, I agree
• 7:59
with you, but I just think most relationships today are transactional.
• 8:02
Speaker 2: I mean, couldn't you agree with me.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: So yesterday when we were talking about you know, you
• 8:07
don't have to put up with your spouse if you're
• 8:10
not happy with what's going on in your relationship for
• 8:13
whatever reason. Nobody says you have to stay. And a
• 8:18
lot of you guys don't understand that. Women are very
• 8:20
quick to tell each other you don't need to put
• 8:22
  up with that.
• 8:23
  Speaker 2: Guys are not.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: And that's why I told you the other day you
• 8:26
don't need to put up with it if you're.
• 8:28
Speaker 2: Not happy with something.
• 8:30
Speaker 1: Like a guy said, well, he one hundred percent of
• 8:32
the income for the household is all him. All he
• 8:34
asks is ask of his wife if to have a
• 8:37
hot meal when he gets off work.
• 8:38
Speaker 2: She didn't even do that.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: She gets mad about it, complains about it, and then
• 8:41
it waits twenty to thirty minutes after he gets off
• 8:43
work to do it. And so, but you don't have
• 8:47
to put up with that, And that's what I was
• 8:48
talking about. Well, afterwards, I was out playing golf with
• 8:52
a friend of mine at the one of the country
• 8:54
  clubs here.
• 8:54
Speaker 2: In Bakers Well, he's a richer guy, he's got some
• 8:56
  good money.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: His wife calls and they're talking for a second and
• 9:01
he gets off the phone and he tells me. He goes, Man,
• 9:03
  romy goes, you wouldn't.
• 9:05
  Speaker 2: Believe how.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: How much my wife spends on getting her nails done,
• 9:10
getting her hair done. She's going to go to the massage.
• 9:13
You know, she's going to get a massage today, and
• 9:14
  all this stuff.
• 9:16
Speaker 2: And he wasn't complaining about it.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: He was just saying that he didn't really he just
• 9:21
is amazed by how much it cost for these things
• 9:27
to get done, right, He wasn't complaining. And then we
• 9:31
started talking again about the show and he says, you know,
• 9:34
I signed up for that, and Romeo, I heard you,
• 9:36
and he goes, rome I heard you talking about telling
• 9:38
these guys to leave, but you also got to tell
• 9:40
these guys you signed up for that, and most of you,
• 9:45
men and women, it works for both of you. You
• 9:48
guys signed up for it, so you can't be mad
• 9:52
at it if you don't get what you signed up.
• 9:55
If you don't get what you want up for, you
• 10:00
know you can't change You can't change your mind in
• 10:03
the middle of your relationship go all of a sudden,
• 10:05
like we'll just go back to this guy who said
• 10:08
if your wife never cooked a day in her life
• 10:11
and then all of a sudden you marry her and
• 10:15
you're mad at her for not cooking, well that's on you.
• 10:20
  Speaker 2: You know.
• 10:21
Speaker 1: If you marry a woman who likes the finer things
• 10:24
in life and you can't afford it, well you got
• 10:29
the wrong woman. You guys have to realize what you
• 10:32
signed up for. If you want a broke chick, then
• 10:36
you know what they're Everywhere you can find a broke
• 10:38
chick who's happy with looking dirty, not cleaning up, walking out,
• 10:42
looking like trash in or pajamas.
• 10:44
Speaker 2: You can find those if that's what you want.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: But if you want a woman that's going to get
• 10:48
up every morning, put herself together, whether it be makeup,
• 10:53
clothes or whatever. Yeah, that costs money, and that's what
• 11:00
you signed up for. So he made a great point
• 11:05
because he said, as he told me, he goes, Man,
• 11:07
it cost me whatever, one thousand dollars or whatever it
• 11:09
was costing him. He goes, I signed up for that,
• 11:12
and I know that and more people need to understand
• 11:15
that rome when they get in relationships, and he's absolutely right.
• 11:23
Know what you're getting into. You can't complain about it
• 11:26
  after the fact.
• 11:28
  Speaker 2: You know.
• 11:29
Speaker 1: It's like you always say, if you were the side
• 11:31
piece and took him from his wife and then he
• 11:34
cheats on you, what do you expect. That's what you
• 11:37
signed up for, alrighty four two, five four or seven
• 11:41
to seven. He's absolutely right. My buddy's absolutely right. You
• 11:45
need to know what you're getting and you need to
• 11:49
know what you want so you don't have any problems
• 11:52
getting what you want. If you want a girl who
• 11:56
only wants to go to McDonald's and not go, you know,
• 11:59
have fancy dinner and she's out there, okay. If you
• 12:05
want a guy who's going to go to work ten
• 12:07
twelve hours a day and make that money so that
• 12:10
you could have a nice house and a nice car
• 12:12
and a good fit and your kids are straight. You
• 12:15
can't complain because he's working all the time. That's what
• 12:18
you signed up for, all right, Ay, four two five,
• 12:22
four seven to seven. Already four two five, four seven
• 12:26
to seven. We're talking a little bit about knowing what
• 12:29
you signed up for. When you get into a relationship
• 12:31
and you marry somebody, you have to know what you
• 12:34
signed up for that. Okay, nobody forced you to do that.
• 12:37
You chose to be with that person, whether it goes
• 12:42
male or female. But yet, once you get with that person,
• 12:46
you want to be upset about things that they were
• 12:50
  already doing.
• 12:52
Speaker 2: You signed up for that. Okay.
• 12:54
Speaker 1: If he only had a part time job when you
• 12:58
married him, you can't sit there and go, oh, you
• 13:00
know what, why don't you have a full time job? Well,
• 13:03
because that's what you chose, all right. And a friend
• 13:06
of mine made that clear to me because his wife
• 13:08
was spending a bunch of money on hair and nails
• 13:10
the other day and he just he goes, yeah, I
• 13:12
signed up for it. It's what I signed up for.
• 13:14
I signed up for a woman who likes to do
• 13:15
with a woman who likes to do that, and that's
• 13:18
what I want, and that's what she wants, So somebody's
• 13:20
got to pay for it, right, And he was not
• 13:23
upset about it, just it is what it is. But
• 13:25
a lot of you people don't understand that you get
• 13:28
  upset once you get married.
• 13:31
Speaker 2: Good morning, How what's going on?
• 13:34
Speaker 3: I heard about the topic?
• 13:36
  Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
• 13:37
  Speaker 4: What up him?
• 13:39
Speaker 3: I want to say, if she couldn't wear that much
• 13:40
money on the hair, I go bald, hit it.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: Well Jesus, all right, all right later. If you want
• 13:53
a broke woman, go get a broke woman. If you
• 13:55
want a woman who looks broke all the time, it
• 13:57
doesn't want anything, then she's out there.
• 13:59
  Speaker 2: That's fine.
• 14:00
Speaker 1: But if you want a woman, it's just like the
• 14:01
guy to stay at home wife. If you want a
• 14:05
woman who's gonna stay that you you want to stay
• 14:08
at home, then you're gonna have to pay for them
• 14:10
to pay for some things that you may not want
• 14:13
to or you may feel they don't need.
• 14:15
Speaker 2: But that's not your decision to make.
• 14:18
Speaker 1: Just like if you want to stay at home and
• 14:20
Amanda go to work ten twelve hours a day, there's
• 14:23
some things you're gonna have to do at home and
• 14:25
there's some things and you can't get mad because he's
• 14:27
at work already. Four two, five, four or seven to seven.
• 14:32
You signed up for it? Good morning, How what's going on?
• 14:35
  Speaker 2: Hey?
• 14:35
Speaker 3: Is it? Saw me on the morning? Yeah?
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: What's up?
• 14:38
Speaker 3: Oh? My name is Skyt Dents And you know I
• 14:41
listen to you pretty much every morning, and I just
• 14:45
want because you make it sound like if you make
• 14:48
these mistakes and do things over time that's gonna hurt you,
• 14:51
you actually preserve them. But I don't know if that's true,
• 14:55
because I know I've made a lot of mistakes just
• 14:58
by watching what my parents do and then find me
• 15:00
out later on that they did something wrong.
• 15:03
Speaker 2: What do you mean.
• 15:04
Speaker 1: Deserve what you I didn't say you deserve it. I said,
• 15:08
you know what you signed up for and you can
• 15:10
leave it. What what do you mean by deserve it?
• 15:13
Speaker 3: Well, that's what it sounds like, because you don't always
• 15:16
know what you signed up for. Like my mom came
• 15:20
here from a belieze and didn't get anything she wanted,
• 15:24
and then she married my dad, who happened to work
• 15:27
on the Rea voat and he loved her and married her,
• 15:30
and everybody kept saying later on, well, this is what
• 15:33
you signed up for, mister Dan, But he didn't know
• 15:35
he was marrying a woman who just wanted him, you know,
• 15:39
being to help pay the bills and during lunchtime was
• 15:42
having an affair with her. True love from believes you
• 15:45
  don't always know everything.
• 15:46
Speaker 1: Well, when I'm not talking about affair, I'm talking about
• 15:50
some of the things that caused the most problems in
• 15:52
our relations Like if you marry a woman who likes
• 15:56
to get her nails done and you want her to
• 15:58
stay at home, you can't get mad because you got
• 16:00
to pay for her nails to get done. If you
• 16:02
want a woman who's gonna needing one likes to dress nicely,
• 16:05
and you can't get mad because that costs money.
• 16:10
Speaker 2: Those are the things that I'm talking.
• 16:11
Speaker 3: Oh okay, no, I don't think you can't get mad
• 16:13
about that. But the situations change over time. Maybe he
• 16:16
can't afford her nails getting her nails done forever, And
• 16:21
I think both sides have to be willing to give
• 16:23
a little bit because you know, just situations change and
• 16:28
money changes, and we're not responsible for changes that we
• 16:33
didn't have anything to do with, so we just have
• 16:35
to Like I've never been married but I'm still friends
• 16:39
with the guys that I wanted to marry. But they
• 16:41
all wanted to become doctors, and I could tell looking
• 16:43
at them that they were going to spend all their
• 16:45
time becoming a doctor and I would just be their
• 16:48
wife at home. So you have to analyze these things.
• 16:51
Not just no. But but now I have three doctor
• 16:57
friends who will take care of my friends and they
• 17:00
have medical problems. But I don't have the love I wanted.
• 17:03
Speaker 2: But let me tell you this, so and this is
• 17:06
that's another point of what I'm saying.
• 17:07
Speaker 1: If you want to marry a doctor, you do have
• 17:11
to accept you kind of married the lifestyle and not
• 17:15
  really the man because.
• 17:16
Speaker 2: He's always working. That's kind of my point.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: You you choose what you're going to get into. You
• 17:22
  can't complain about it.
• 17:23
Speaker 3: After Yeah, no, I do, thank you. I just you know,
• 17:27
I did not know that he was. He ended up
• 17:29
running Halem Hospital, which was a really big deal for him,
• 17:32
and we never got married. But I kind of blame
• 17:35
myself because I didn't understand everything that was going to
• 17:39
have to go into his becoming this figure doing all
• 17:42
the Hallam hostele, and he saved lives, so he did
• 17:46
  more as a doctor.
• 17:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, But that sounds to me like that's not
• 17:52
  what you do.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: You want to marry somebody that loves You've got somebody
• 17:55
not marrying a lifestyle and somebody who has a job
• 17:58
  before you.
• 17:59
  Speaker 2: So I'm mean, that's just that's kind of what I'm
• 18:01
  going with.
• 18:02
Speaker 3: Though, You're right, I think, especially when you're young, because
• 18:06
I was in my twenties and he was in his
• 18:08
twenties and I was becoming a journalist at that time.
• 18:11
But I don't think I knew all the intricacies of
• 18:16
what he had to go through. Okay, to go from
• 18:19
a you know, big shot doctor and call him hospital well, of.
• 18:23
Speaker 1: Course, and he's got a political he's got to be political.
• 18:26
He's got to be seen, he's got to be a
• 18:27
party's he's got to be a public figure.
• 18:29
Speaker 2: He's got a lot of action going on.
• 18:32
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but they don't tell us, Like the guys
• 18:34
don't want us to go away, so they tell us
• 18:36
anything that's involved in it. And I was able to
• 18:40
like know a little more, and you know, we had
• 18:43
a lot of problems in our family, so I just
• 18:45
sort of accept it too, and I wanted to do
• 18:47
whatever was best for him, and he was supportive of
• 18:49
me and we never got married.
• 18:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well and let me make it a venture.
• 18:54
Speaker 1: So you understand, nobody deserves to get cheated on because
• 18:57
of a situation. Nobody's ever be cheated on. There are,
• 19:02
but you can't. But if you marry a cheater and
• 19:04
you know he's a cheater, and you kind of know
• 19:06
what you're getting yourself into the possibility, so.
• 19:09
Speaker 3: Okay, But sometimes you feel like just a situation, not
• 19:12
like marriage or relationships, for cheating, and you feel like
• 19:16
the situation is cheat because I know I felt that
• 19:18
way for a long time, like he's rising ahead as
• 19:21
a doctor and I'm here doing all these things to
• 19:23
support him and I'm not getting anything out of it.
• 19:26
But then over time I saw how important he was.
• 19:29
He was more important as a doctor than he was
• 19:32
with my husband, and I accepted that.
• 19:34
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Well I appreciate the phone call, thank.
• 19:36
Speaker 3: You, Okay, I appreciate your answering.
• 19:38
  Speaker 2: All right.
• 19:40
Speaker 1: I mean, but that's a great point she makes, And
• 19:43
that's what I'm trying to tell you. There are the
• 19:45
things that you have to understand you're getting involved in.
• 19:48
That's what you signed up for. Okay, and you can't
• 19:51
be mad about it after the fact. She sounds like
• 19:53
she was smart enough. She didn't want that lifestyle. She
• 19:57
didn't want to live. She wanted a husband, not a lifestyle.
• 20:00
Sounds like she knew what she was doing already. Four
• 20:02
two five, four seven to seven. Good morning, How what's
• 20:05
  going on?
• 20:06
Speaker 5: Okay? But man, that girl was really talking really fast.
• 20:09
Speaker 6: I don't know you got it all.
• 20:12
  Speaker 2: She's by.
• 20:15
Speaker 7: I was. I was like, dang, she's out talking Romeo, right.
• 20:21
  Speaker 4: I think she's.
• 20:22
Speaker 2: From Box I think if I remember correctly.
• 20:26
  Speaker 6: Okay, she was.
• 20:28
Speaker 5: She was on it though it was bullets spatter of
• 20:31
  the pistol.
• 20:31
Speaker 2: Boy, she came with Ammo.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: Already four two, five, seven to seven. I think it's
• 20:42
the accent. I think it's the accent.
• 20:44
Speaker 2: Hey room and wonderful Bakersfield.
• 20:46
Speaker 1: We usually sign up for a skinny, sweet lady that
• 20:49
cooks and cleans five years into a marriage. Now we
• 20:51
have a fat, angry, uh honey badger that doesn't want
• 20:55
to cook or clean. Don't sign up for uh didn't
• 20:58
sign up for that, but be nice if people didn't
• 21:01
switch up once they get that ring. Well, but that's
• 21:07
why I said, though you can always leave.
• 21:10
Speaker 2: I mean it. It doesn't happen like that all the time.
• 21:15
Speaker 1: Okay, but wait obviously is something wait and personality obviously
• 21:22
can change over time, but it doesn't always. It doesn't
• 21:29
always all right, eight four two five four or seven
• 21:31
to seven. So but once again, back to my point,
• 21:35
you can always leave if you want.
• 21:38
Speaker 2: Hey, roam, I married a woman in the.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: Streets and a streets in the streets and a freaking
• 21:43
the sheets, and now she's still a woman in the
• 21:45
streets and turned into a nun today, turned into a none,
• 21:51
  none today, none tomorrow.
• 21:53
  Speaker 2: I didn't sign up for that. Well, that's but that's
• 21:56
what I say. You guys have to understand.
• 22:00
Speaker 1: You know that you can always That's why I said
• 22:04
you can always leave, you know.
• 22:07
Speaker 2: But some of the I mean, and then, why is
• 22:10
she not having sex with you anymore? What are you doing?
• 22:12
  There's a lot.
• 22:14
Speaker 1: Oh, it's not as simple as you think when it
• 22:16
comes to sex and weight. Those are two of the
• 22:19
biggest problems I think people having relationships. Are you are
• 22:22
you super skinny or you know what I'm saying, Are
• 22:26
you staying in shape? Are you staying fit? For the
• 22:29
guy who says bakers wool women just get fat after
• 22:32
  they get married.
• 22:33
Speaker 2: What about you? Are you still.
• 22:35
Speaker 1: Doing romantic things to get your woman to be freaky
• 22:39
or have you given up and just expected out of her.
• 22:41
I mean, these are things that you have to think
• 22:42
of as well. You have to think of everything. So
• 22:46
what makes me so smart, so much smarter than you
• 22:48
is I think of everything and try to help you out.
• 22:51
So you got to listen if you want help or
• 22:54
talking about what do you sign up for? Right when
• 22:57
you get married to somebody, you sign up for certain
• 22:59
things that you knew they do.
• 23:02
Speaker 2: Right, if you know.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: She likes to do her hair every two weeks, then
• 23:07
you know that's what you signed up for. You got
• 23:09
to deal with it, all right. You can't get mad
• 23:11
at it. If you know he works ten hour days
• 23:14
so that he can make enough money, you can't get
• 23:17
mad at him. When dudes out there working ten hour
• 23:19
days or twelve hour days or whatever the case may be.
• 23:23
You know, you just you gotta understand what you're working with.
• 23:27
I do want to talk about though, this fact that
• 23:29
one guy said I didn't sign up. You know who
• 23:32
was a lady in the streets in a freaking bed room,
• 23:35
and after I married her she didn't want to have
• 23:36
  sex anymore.
• 23:37
Speaker 2: Well, then you need to leave.
• 23:42
Speaker 1: I mean aer to you, okay, and that's all honesty.
• 23:47
You need to walk out. As long as you were
• 23:49
doing everything that you believe you can to help her
• 23:56
stay you know, a freak, I'll use your terminology. As
• 24:00
long as you know you're you're doing everything you can
• 24:03
and she still doesn't want to, then you need to roll.
• 24:06
You need to realize, hey, you're right, this is not
• 24:08
what I signed up for, okay, and you need to
• 24:13
find somebody else because somebody else will do exactly what
• 24:17
she wants, just like the guy who said, well I
• 24:20
want to marry a skinny girl. After five years in
• 24:23
they become fat. Well okay, way changes over the years.
• 24:28
But if you're here's the thing that you guys got
• 24:32
to understand when it comes to sex.
• 24:34
Speaker 2: And wait, if you guys.
• 24:37
Speaker 1: Or you women, because you guys, women do the same thing.
• 24:40
If you're not putting in the effort to support your spouse,
• 24:44
either to stay skinny or to stay freaky, and they
• 24:49
just don't want to anymore with you for whatever reason
• 24:53
or they've chosen this life, then yes you are with
• 24:56
a different person. Okay, but you gotta be able to
• 25:01
walk away, because once you stay, you need to stop
• 25:07
complaining about it. If you've done everything you can to
• 25:12
support your spouse and whatever it is.
• 25:15
  Speaker 2: They were.
• 25:17
Speaker 1: Because and you find out they're never going to be
• 25:24
that again, then you can you just you gotta go.
• 25:28
But that was the whole point of the conversation the
• 25:31
other day. You have to be willing to walk away.
• 25:36
But before you walk away, you have to be sure
• 25:39
that you've If you truly love somebody, you have to
• 25:42
be sure that you've done everything. Okay already four two five, four,
• 25:50
  seven to seven, And.
• 25:54
  Speaker 2: Those are tough.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: Weight and sex drive are tough in in a marriage.
• 26:00
Speaker 2: They've just a lot of people have.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: A lot of people have problems with that, and it
• 26:08
causes a lot of problems in their marriage. I mean,
• 26:11
but it's something you gotta work on. But I think
• 26:13
I will say this though, also, I think that you
• 26:19
can tell. I think you know if the woman you're
• 26:25
marrying is gonna stay thin or if she's gonna stay
• 26:31
stay a freak. I think you know that, you know.
• 26:34
I think you can tell. And then a lot of
• 26:37
it matters on how you treat them as well, you know,
• 26:41
So I don't know. I know it's tough, but yeah.
• 26:47
  Speaker 2: But like I said, I I just.
• 26:52
Speaker 1: You gotta be able to walk away, and a lot
• 26:55
of you guys can't, all right eight four two five,
• 26:58
four or seven, or you walk away over something that
• 27:04
could have been fixed. That's the worst part, walking away
• 27:07
when things were fixable, as opposed to walking away when
• 27:11
  you know things aren't fixable.
• 27:13
Speaker 2: What my god here? What'd you send me already?
• 27:15
Speaker 1: Four two, five, four seven to seven A Romeo? You
• 27:19
shouldn't be telling couples that it's okay to get.
• 27:23
Speaker 2: Out of a marriage.
• 27:24
Speaker 1: Divorce is a horrible thing to go through. Why not
• 27:27
try and work things out. When you choose to be
• 27:29
with somebody, you choose to be with them forever. That's
• 27:33
the problem with people today. They don't know how to
• 27:36
stick to their vows and be loyal. Yeah, okay, I
• 27:46
get it. I get what you're saying. But people change.
• 27:53
And why if there's certain things that you.
• 27:57
Speaker 2: Want in your life.
• 28:00
Speaker 1: And you get married to somebody, and if you're talking
• 28:06
and getting married you said forever. I mean you're talking
• 28:08
what you get married at thirty, you're going to live
• 28:11
till ninety eighty. Let's call it eighty sixty years, fifty years,
• 28:15
  fifty years of marriage.
• 28:16
Speaker 2: Let's just say, I mean, is it fair.
• 28:23
Speaker 1: For somebody to say that I got to stay with
• 28:25
somebody because even though they've changed into something that I didn't,
• 28:30
  that I didn't.
• 28:30
Speaker 2: Want, or that I don't want. Is that really fair
• 28:34
  to do?
• 28:35
  Speaker 4: So?
• 28:36
Speaker 1: No, Absolutely, people can leave. You have to if it
• 28:39
doesn't work out. I mean, the problem is you have
• 28:42
so many people that get divorced over things that probably
• 28:47
most likely are fixable, but they don't communicate, they don't
• 28:52
  talk about it, they.
• 28:53
Speaker 2: Don't figure it out.
• 28:54
Speaker 1: They're stubborn, right, you know, you can't tell me to
• 28:59
do this, You can't tell me to do that.
• 29:03
Speaker 2: Well, then you can leave, but you can't.
• 29:06
Speaker 1: You can't legitimately ask somebody to be miserable their entire
• 29:10
life because they thought they were marrying one person and
• 29:16
they got another after they got married.
• 29:18
Speaker 2: You can't. That's not fair. It's not fair to somebody.
• 29:23
Speaker 1: So if yeah, yeah, so you're right with what you're
• 29:27
saying about marriage being forever, But you can't expect people
• 29:31
to stay in a marriage where what they wanted they're
• 29:36
not getting, especially if what they wanted is reasonable.
• 29:41
Speaker 2: Okay, Hey, mar Romeos.
• 29:44
Speaker 7: John, Hey, I've been married twenty seven years and I
• 29:49
was listening to some of these things these guys are saying,
• 29:51
and I'm just going to disagree with you a little
• 29:54
bit on Uh okay, all of us are not quitters.
• 29:56
We don't have it in us to quit.
• 29:59
Speaker 2: We don't don't do. We took vows to death to.
• 30:02
Speaker 7: His part, and you know, after twenty seven years of marriage,
• 30:06
it's been rough. Believe me, we were the other five
• 30:10
years before we got married. And anyway, make short story long,
• 30:15
you have to stick to your vows you have and
• 30:17
and some of us, you know, we just can't give up.
• 30:22
Speaker 3: I would have never.
• 30:22
Speaker 7: Made it to basic training in the army if I
• 30:24
  was a queer.
• 30:25
Speaker 2: You're easy quit. I want to quit so bad. Oh
• 30:28
  I can't.
• 30:29
  Speaker 7: I can't tell you.
• 30:30
Speaker 1: I agree with what you're saying as long as you're
• 30:35
both willing to work at it. And if you're not,
• 30:39
then what is one person supposed to do. You're not
• 30:44
quitting if you decided, if you and your wife decided that, hey,
• 30:49
  this is.
• 30:50
Speaker 2: The one thing that I want you. Let's say let's
• 30:52
  say she.
• 30:53
Speaker 1: Wanted you to work right, and you come home one
• 30:56
day and you go, I don't want to work as
• 30:57
much anymore. Let's get a smaller house and one car
• 31:00
are and we'll survive off this.
• 31:02
Speaker 2: And she goes, well, no, I want my house.
• 31:05
Speaker 1: I want what you what you provided, right, And you say, no,
• 31:09
that's not what's gonna happen anymore.
• 31:11
Speaker 2: I don't want to do it. You can't expect her
• 31:14
  to go, you know what.
• 31:17
Speaker 1: I need to stay with him because of my vows,
• 31:19
because I'm not a quitter, because she didn't quit.
• 31:21
Speaker 2: You quit. You see what I'm saying here. That's what
• 31:24
I mean by that when I say that, though, at.
• 31:27
Speaker 1: Some point, if you say, you know what, honey, and now,
• 31:30
if you came home and said, you know what, I'm
• 31:31
gonna take a year off and not work as much.
• 31:33
It's just tough, and then we'll get back at it, right,
• 31:37
that's different. But you can't expect somebody to live their
• 31:44
entire life with somebody that doesn't own up to what
• 31:48
they said they were going to own up to.
• 31:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, well you know what I got to say.
• 31:52
Speaker 7: Until this part you would think it is funny.
• 31:56
Speaker 2: It is funny ago long ago either.
• 31:59
Speaker 7: Oh god, he's the only reason why you haven't killed me. Yes,
• 32:02
because uh, I don't have a life insurance policy. I
• 32:05
said no, the prosecutor would practice to be inventive. I
• 32:09
was gonna kill you for the money.
• 32:15
  Speaker 2: Oh my god.
• 32:18
Speaker 1: Anyway, but yeah, you have to look at those things.
• 32:21
That's not fair, right, And back to his point quitting,
• 32:25
it's not quitting. You quit on me, if you if
• 32:28
if I signed up for this and you don't hold
• 32:32
up your into the bargain, you quit on me.
• 32:34
  Speaker 2: I didn't quit on you.
• 32:35
Speaker 1: But you can't expect people to stay together forever if
• 32:40
you know you're not doing what you said you were
• 32:42
  gonna do.
• 32:43
  Speaker 2: R A four two for seven seven a Romeo. I
• 32:47
  just want to tell.
• 32:48
Speaker 1: You you couldn't be more wrong. When you get married,
• 32:51
that is forever, people are. That guy is right about
• 32:55
being a quitter. You can't just quit. You need you
• 33:01
need to cherish those vows unconditional love. If you really
• 33:06
truly want to be with somebody and love them, well, okay,
• 33:11
  it's a little one sided.
• 33:12
Speaker 2: Come on your hot what's going on, mamoralmeal?
• 33:15
Speaker 3: Life is not fair.
• 33:17
Speaker 4: And if you find a good woman, you hold on
• 33:19
  to her.
• 33:20
Speaker 7: You don't give up. No, I hear all these guys
• 33:24
complaining but they need a man up.
• 33:26
Speaker 2: They know what they signed up for.
• 33:27
Speaker 4: And if she's not a freaking bed or she's gaining weight,
• 33:31
let me tell you what I did.
• 33:32
Speaker 7: There're is a secret. You gotta be smarter than these women.
• 33:37
Speaker 4: Okay, So there's something called ADII.
• 33:41
  Speaker 5: Ad d ye.
• 33:42
Speaker 7: It's like a woman biagra. Mix that with a little
• 33:45
  ozempic in a orange juice.
• 33:48
  Speaker 8: She's a freak and she's losing weight.
• 33:51
Speaker 2: I think it's illegal to drug somebody.
• 33:54
  Speaker 4: It's paddy cocktails.
• 33:55
  Speaker 2: She'll never know you're married.
• 33:56
Speaker 7: You're helping her out, you're saving the marriage, so it's
• 33:59
  not illegal.
• 34:01
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm tallenge to try it. Okay, I'll
• 34:04
  let everybody know. Thanks.
• 34:07
  Speaker 1: I just.
• 34:09
  Speaker 2: You idiots.
• 34:09
Speaker 1: I just can't sometimes with you guys. But let me
• 34:13
ask you this question. Why is it always like when
• 34:16
  somebody says unconditional?
• 34:17
Speaker 2: Why is it one sided?
• 34:20
Speaker 1: If you're the one that's not getting what you wanted,
• 34:25
what you thought you were getting in your marriage, why
• 34:28
  is it your fault?
• 34:29
Speaker 2: Why is it not theirs? And fault? Michael being a
• 34:31
good thing, Michael Bean's on here, who's fault?
• 34:33
Speaker 1: But why is it if you're doing everything you can
• 34:37
to help support whatever it is that you want, and
• 34:41
they don't care about you. Why is it that you're
• 34:44
supposed to have unconditional love? Why is it you're the
• 34:47
one that's supposed to just accept everything?
• 34:51
  Speaker 3: You know?
• 34:53
Speaker 2: Can anybody explain that? Alrighty?
• 34:56
Speaker 1: Four, two, five, four or seven and seven out of all?
• 34:59
I'll tell you what I mean by that. When I
• 35:02
was in college, I have I've had these friends, well
• 35:06
  my college friends.
• 35:07
Speaker 2: And there he was a meathead. She was I think
• 35:11
  she was.
• 35:11
Speaker 1: A track star something tracker gim I can't gymnastics.
• 35:14
Speaker 2: I can't remember which one it was, right, both.
• 35:18
Speaker 1: Two of the most fittest people in you know that
• 35:21
I knew, right, and obviously they were attracted to each other.
• 35:25
Speaker 2: They we graduate college, they get married, and.
• 35:31
Speaker 1: A couple of years into their marriage, he's still the meathead.
• 35:34
He's still the same meathead, walking around with the gallon
• 35:36
jug of water, hitting the gym two hours of days,
• 35:38
trying to you know, trying to look, you know, stay
• 35:41
who he is. And she gets this job with these
• 35:45
women who and this is his story, so you guys
• 35:49
can say what you want about it, Okay, he uh,
• 35:53
she starts putting on weight and he believes she did
• 35:58
it because where she was working, all the other women
• 36:04
were big, so they were she started to get big
• 36:09
guilt by association, right when she's always been this physically
• 36:14
fit athlete. Mind you, he's still staying the same. They
• 36:20
ended up getting divorced about six years. I think after
• 36:24
six years they end up getting divorced six months later,
• 36:30
if not sooner. She's right back to the original, to
• 36:34
her size in college, physically fit, ready to go, and.
• 36:40
Speaker 2: Now she's remarried. So what does that say?
• 36:45
Speaker 1: What I mean, it took her to get divorced to
• 36:49
get back into what he was attracted to. Now everybody
• 36:54
thinks he's the bad guy. By the way, I don't
• 36:56
think he's the bad guy. I think it was what
• 36:59
it was, and I don't think it's realistic or for
• 37:05
you guys to sign up for one thing then when
• 37:08
that person changes, you're supposed to be stuck with it
• 37:10
for the rest of your life.
• 37:10
Speaker 2: I don't think that's fair. Nobody should live like that.
• 37:14
Speaker 1: But what a big boy. He disagreed with me. Hey,
• 37:17
  rom I disagree. We don't know a couple's issues. I
• 37:19
have friends married over twenty years who have called it
• 37:21
quits only to remain better friends. I think there's always
• 37:24
circumstances to consider when a couple calls it quits.
• 37:27
Speaker 2: I feel blessed that.
• 37:28
Speaker 1: I've been married thirty years next month and we still
• 37:31
  have our fire.
• 37:35
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 37:37
Speaker 1: Here's the thing though about calling Here's where here's where
• 37:47
things get tough when you talk about calling it quits.
• 37:50
I believe this. I believe most people call it quits
• 37:58
because I believe most people call it quits over things
• 38:02
that can be fixable. Okay, and those are things that
• 38:07
you might you yourself might have to put a little
• 38:09
work into, okay, but the major things. There's a lot
• 38:15
of people that stay together because of the idea that well,
• 38:17
we're we're supposed to be married. We got married, so
• 38:20
we got to stick it out forever, even if we're
• 38:22
miserable the majority of our marriage, right, and you go, well,
• 38:26
you guys probably should have got divorced. Then there are
• 38:30
more people out there I think that leave over something
• 38:34
  that's fixable.
• 38:37
  Speaker 2: Wait.
• 38:38
Speaker 1: Sex, two of the most biggest problems people have in
• 38:42
a marriage. Okay, depending on what side of the fence
• 38:46
  you're on, there is a there's a difference.
• 38:52
  Speaker 2: There's a huge difference.
• 38:54
Speaker 1: A woman a wife can tell her husband he's fat
• 38:57
and he needs to lose weight. A husband can not
• 39:00
do that in the same way tell his wife she's fat,
• 39:04
you need to lose some weight. Is that fair to
• 39:07
a marriage? No, it's not fair to either one of
• 39:09
those people. You should both be able to say that
• 39:11
to your spouse if that's if you're not happy with it, okay.
• 39:18
So the reason I bring that up is those are
• 39:21
fixable issues if you both want to work on it
• 39:24
and help each other out. And people will cheat, people
• 39:29
will leave, people will make mistakes because of fixable issues.
• 39:33
That's the confusion that I think you guys are having.
• 39:35
When I say it's time to leave, you're able to
• 39:39
leave because most people leave over fixable issues.
• 39:45
Speaker 2: Alrighty four two five, four, seven to seven, Hop, it's
• 39:48
  going on?
• 39:49
  Speaker 9: Good morning?
• 39:50
  Speaker 7: What's going on?
• 39:50
  Speaker 3: Man?
• 39:50
  Speaker 5: Hey?
• 39:51
  Speaker 2: What I brought?
• 39:52
Speaker 9: Hey, I'm going down there to talk about what's going on?
• 39:55
  Speaker 5: Man?
• 39:55
  Speaker 9: On the radio?
• 39:56
Speaker 7: You know I heard what you talk about?
• 39:57
  Speaker 1: Man?
• 39:58
Speaker 2: Yeah? What do you got?
• 39:59
  Speaker 5: Yeah?
• 39:59
  Speaker 6: Hey?
• 39:59
  Speaker 5: Man?
• 40:00
Speaker 9: What it is with women?
• 40:01
  Speaker 3: Brother?
• 40:01
Speaker 9: Is that Look, look, men can't live without them and
• 40:05
they can't live with them, but we got to have them,
• 40:07
  you know what I mean?
• 40:09
Speaker 5: At the end of the day.
• 40:10
Speaker 6: It is what it is, and we.
• 40:11
Speaker 9: Always have to deal with it no matter what because
• 40:14
that's just the way it is.
• 40:16
Speaker 7: Going to go ahead.
• 40:18
  Speaker 3: Nothing.
• 40:19
Speaker 2: I'm just okay, that's what you know. You don't They're all.
• 40:22
Speaker 9: Like, but like, we have to deal with it though,
• 40:24
because it's men like, that's what our job to do
• 40:27
is when we're with women. You know that that's doesn't
• 40:29
there's people that with somebody that we fell in love with,
• 40:32
you know, so a stranger that we got to know,
• 40:34
and somebody that we took in, you know and accepted them,
• 40:37
you know, for who they are and what they are.
• 40:39
Speaker 2: What if they change, Well, if they change.
• 40:42
Speaker 9: Oh well what if it's for the good, then that's
• 40:45
that's a puss for you, you.
• 40:46
Speaker 4: Know what I mean.
• 40:47
  Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
• 40:48
Speaker 9: It doesn't matter if they get big or overweight, it
• 40:50
doesn't matter, you know what I mean. That person is
• 40:51
still that same person inside no matter what.
• 40:54
Speaker 2: They're not though they're not though that's the problem. That's you.
• 40:58
You you are you think they are, they're not.
• 41:02
Speaker 9: I know that women are strange creatures, for sure, they are.
• 41:05
  They're one of a kuyd.
• 41:08
  Speaker 6: They's crazy.
• 41:08
Speaker 9: But you know, we can't live without them, like I should,
• 41:10
you know, and we can't live with them, but we
• 41:13
  gotta deal with them, all.
• 41:14
Speaker 2: Right, man, thanks for calling.
• 41:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, you you can live with the right woman or
• 41:24
the right man. I mean, men are strange creatures to everybody.
• 41:27
It's not just women. We're not just talking about. What
• 41:29
it comes down to is people change. Do you don't
• 41:33
  you think?
• 41:37
  Speaker 2: Yeah?
• 41:37
Speaker 1: People change, and you're supposed to be stuck with someone
• 41:41
who's changed. You're a different person people, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 41:47
  all right.
• 41:48
Speaker 2: I'm trying to process what he said, you know what's
• 41:50
  going on.
• 41:53
Speaker 8: I kind of understand what you're saying with the with
• 41:56
  the whole, like.
• 41:59
Speaker 6: If it's time to go, it's time to go. And
• 42:02
if it's true, if it's something that you can change,
• 42:06
you should change it if you want to stay in
• 42:08
that marriage, because at least us, like me and my husband,
• 42:13
he's the type that, like he has said it so
• 42:17
  many times.
• 42:18
Speaker 8: Like I got married to you, like we are stuck
• 42:21
together for life. And there was a point where I
• 42:24
was just like, you know what, like you need to
• 42:27
leave because honestly, this is not working for me. And
• 42:31
he was like no, no, no, Like I married you
• 42:34
and this is for life and this is forever. And
• 42:37
I was just kind of like, yeah, but this is
• 42:39
not working for me. If it's working for you, good,
• 42:42
but it's not working for me. So he was like, okay,
• 42:46
So we took marriage counseling and he's like, oh, okay,
• 42:49
Like I see where what you're saying. So, yeah, there
• 42:52
is sometimes that you know, you leave because you stay
• 42:59
in the relationship that is not working, but because of
• 43:04
because of what your parents, your grandparents would say, yes,
• 43:08
you know, like oh, well you know my grandma, my
• 43:14
  grandma was always getting.
• 43:15
Speaker 6: Beat up, and you know, she stayed. And it's just
• 43:18
  kind of like.
• 43:18
  Speaker 8: We're in a we're in a time for like, no,
• 43:23
  if you're.
• 43:24
Speaker 6: Being abused, you don't have to stay.
• 43:29
Speaker 8: You don't have to If something is not working for you,
• 43:32
  it's a it's a well, let's.
• 43:36
Speaker 1: Not take it to that extreme because we know that
• 43:38
that is when you have to leave. Definitely, there's not
• 43:41
an option of staying there. But if there are things
• 43:44
that are fixable like wait or sex, drive or jobs,
• 43:48
or whatever the case may be, attractiveness, then you should
• 43:53
  fix it.
• 43:53
Speaker 2: If you still love that person.
• 43:55
Speaker 1: Obviously you said whatever you did was fixable, Yeah, it
• 44:00
  was what was.
• 44:01
Speaker 2: It if you don't wand me asking.
• 44:05
Speaker 8: We just wouldn't agree, Like in little stuff like I'd say, yeah,
• 44:11
let's go out for icecream and he'd be like, no,
• 44:13
like I want to go get a too roll.
• 44:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's kind of like.
• 44:16
Speaker 8: Yeah, bro, you know, we just wouldn't agree.
• 44:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, all fixable things that if you really love each other,
• 44:24
are very easily fixed with a little bit of communication
• 44:27
and a little bit of you know, understanding of what
• 44:29
  the other person wants.
• 44:30
Speaker 2: Absolutely okay, yeah, all right, all right, well thanks for colling.
• 44:34
  I appreciate it.
• 44:36
  Speaker 8: You're welcome.
• 44:37
Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying. See, things that are fixable.
• 44:39
People will break up over things that, uh that are fixable.
• 44:43
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 44:44
Speaker 1: I mean, I hate to tell you this, and fortunately
• 44:50
you don't want to hear this, especially you guys. Probably
• 44:53
the reason your wife's not giving you more sex is
• 44:56
because you're not being you're not romancing her. Now, okay,
• 45:02
I'm gonna guess ninety nine percent of you the reason
• 45:05
your wife, outside of medical conditions or whatever, the reason
• 45:08
she's not giving you more is because you're not putting
• 45:11
in the work to get her in the mood more.
• 45:15
Speaker 2: Okay, Now, if you want.
• 45:17
Speaker 1: To go find a hoe, that's just gonna do whatever.
• 45:19
You can go do that and leave your wife. But
• 45:21
if you love your wife and you want to.
• 45:23
Speaker 2: Fix it, it's fixable.
• 45:25
Speaker 1: For the most part, it's fixable. I mean, I mean
• 45:28
there's always exceptions to every rule. Okay, weight is a
• 45:32
fixable situation, but sometimes you got to put in a
• 45:37
little bit of effort to support your spouse. You know,
• 45:41
look at what she said, fixable because we're not agreeing
• 45:44
  on certain things.
• 45:45
Speaker 2: Everything is well, not everything.
• 45:48
Speaker 1: Most things that people break up over or cheat on
• 45:51
each other over are fixable, but some things aren't.
• 45:56
  Speaker 2: Okay, if you're if you're.
• 45:58
Speaker 1: Willing to to to work on your relationship and your
• 46:02
spouse is not, you shouldn't have to just stay in
• 46:07
that relationship because it took some vow that you didn't break.
• 46:13
Speaker 2: They broke, Hey, Romeo.
• 46:15
Speaker 4: So I think not only is it like is it
• 46:19
a quick fixable? You know, we're going to get back
• 46:22
together because it's something small. We're going to stay together
• 46:24
because it's something small. I also believe in the financial
• 46:28
stability of the person. And I say that because I've
• 46:33
seen couples that if it wasn't something small that you
• 46:38
would be you know what, I probably would separate with
• 46:40
that person. They stay because of where they are financially
• 46:46
and how comfortable their lifestyle is. Yeah, and that's sad,
• 46:51
you know, well there is and with a little right,
• 46:55
with the little things that that are okay, we can
• 46:58
we can task, we can get through the smaller issues.
• 47:03
I think the person threatens to leave because they know
• 47:07
they can, they can be on their own. They know
• 47:09
they can do it without them, and it's like, that's
• 47:13
that's what I think. Also comes into plays of financial.
• 47:15
Speaker 1: Oh you're well, how many I bet you I can
• 47:19
name just in my little circle of friends in Bakersfield,
• 47:22
I could probably name six seven people who are married
• 47:26
  to a lifestyle.
• 47:26
Speaker 2: Now. They're not really married to each other, they're just
• 47:30
  married to it.
• 47:30
Speaker 4: In me several and I will admit I was in
• 47:35
that situation one where I said, you know what, I'm
• 47:38
just gonna stay because I can't do it on my own.
• 47:41
And it's sad. And so I wasted those five years
• 47:44
not only for myself but for the person.
• 47:47
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 47:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I found my person, which I was like, man,
• 47:51
I should have found them center, But you know, destiny
• 47:54
and all that. But I think definitely.
• 47:58
Speaker 2: Yes, you know what, but you're crazy.
• 48:00
Speaker 8: But okay, I know, I'm okay with it.
• 48:07
Speaker 1: I'll tell you this though. I do want to tell
• 48:08
you what you brought up. And it's kind of a
• 48:10
real point. Is you said you wasted the five years
• 48:13
  for yourself and your spouse.
• 48:16
  Speaker 2: People don't think.
• 48:17
Speaker 1: People see this one sided conversation and go, I'm over
• 48:20
here staying in this marriage and I'm not really happy
• 48:22
with because that person has changed. Well, you know what,
• 48:25
maybe that person can find somebody better and have some
• 48:28
happiness as well instead of us stilling together.
• 48:31
  Speaker 2: You're absolutely right, that's a great point.
• 48:33
Speaker 4: Yeah, and I thought like, I need to stop doing
• 48:36
that because I'm wasting his time to find his person.
• 48:40
But he is a great guy, but he wasn't my partner.
• 48:44
  Speaker 2: He wasn't a.
• 48:44
  Speaker 4: Partner for me.
• 48:45
Speaker 2: Destiny didn't bring you.
• 48:49
Speaker 4: What's not it? Yeah? Maybe your next segment, who believe
• 48:57
  or not?
• 48:57
Speaker 5: I guarantee there's a lot of people that do.
• 48:59
Speaker 1: The only destiny I know hits the stage at four o'clock.
• 49:03
So let me get these text messages. Sorry, guys, I
• 49:07
haven't been paying attention here. Text messages a rome. His
• 49:11
problem is he can't read between the line, Oh this
• 49:14
is something else, Romeo. Women just want to have sex,
• 49:19
want good sex. Yeah that's not good morning. How what's
• 49:22
  going on? Good morning?
• 49:24
Speaker 4: I love this topic today.
• 49:26
Speaker 10: I think it's really it's really really interesting. You know,
• 49:31
it's not mad, it's not about the second Yes, it's
• 49:34
  a sex great Cotto mighty.
• 49:36
Speaker 4: It used to be.
• 49:38
Speaker 10: I'm a Nimpho. My husband is not, but he injured
• 49:42
around ten years ago. Injured is bad, So.
• 49:46
Speaker 3: Our relationship or second.
• 49:47
Speaker 10: Relationship totally changed. And then a couple of years ago
• 49:52
I got major injured. I sent him at the hospital
• 49:56
and then I changed and then so yes, it was
• 49:59
na through we try to do our little sometimes up
• 50:03
  laughing at.
• 50:03
  Speaker 3: Each other because we're like, he's like, I can't, I can't.
• 50:06
  Speaker 8: I'm I can't, I can't, I can't.
• 50:07
Speaker 3: So we just we're just separated.
• 50:10
  Speaker 7: We do it.
• 50:11
Speaker 10: We're just laughing at each other because it's not just
• 50:14
about the sex, because yes, the sex is great, but there's.
• 50:17
Speaker 3: More things to marriage than set.
• 50:20
Speaker 4: So I just want to say that that.
• 50:23
Speaker 1: First of all, you that might have been destiny were
• 50:26
you both where your sex drives have have equaled each
• 50:29
other out at this after a few years to get.
• 50:32
Speaker 3: Your half and I miss it. God almighty do I
• 50:36
  miss a good sex.
• 50:37
Speaker 10: But we we can't do what we can do.
• 50:40
Speaker 2: And okay, well, I'm just gonna say this.
• 50:44
Speaker 1: For sex, it's not about you and your husband, but
• 50:46
for some people it is about sex. So it just
• 50:48
depends on what those people want and then they need
• 50:50
to go find that. And I just I just don't
• 50:53
think people should be stuck with somebody if if there's
• 50:56
something that they really want and that person has changed
• 50:59
that in their ma, that's all.
• 51:01
Speaker 8: But okay, yeah, but things, everything can be worked on,
• 51:04
Everything can be worked out, you just have to get
• 51:08
  I think it is people.
• 51:09
Speaker 10: When, especially when they're married for a long time, they
• 51:12
  forget who each other is.
• 51:14
Speaker 3: They forget who they are.
• 51:16
Speaker 10: And once they find out who they are.
• 51:18
Speaker 8: And who each other is, you can do things to
• 51:21
fall in love all over again. It doesn't have to
• 51:23
  be going.
• 51:24
Speaker 3: Out, having a big, giant, romantic, extensive dinner. No, go
• 51:28
to her park, make them lunch, just in quality till together.
• 51:32
Speaker 10: Most important thing is quality time sitting down talking to
• 51:36
each other is everything, because if you don't talk.
• 51:40
Speaker 4: You just stay away.
• 51:42
Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for Colin, I appreciate it, have
• 51:45
a wonderful day you too. And I think she's right.
• 51:50
I think most things are fixable. I think a lot
• 51:53
of things in marriages are fixable, but you don't fix them.
• 52:00
And what overshadows the fixable things in your marriage that
• 52:04
could keep you together and make you happy again with
• 52:06
  the person you.
• 52:07
Speaker 2: Committed to is cheating. You know, everybody just.
• 52:11
Speaker 1: Thinks, oh, they cheat, they cheat, they cheat. Everybody just said,
• 52:14
why do I don't get sex at home? So I'm
• 52:16
just gonna go cheat on my wife or my husband,
• 52:17
Or he doesn't communicate with me well or talk to
• 52:20
me or care about me, so I'm gonna go cheat
• 52:21
on him. And then that overshadows the fact that it's
• 52:27
not that complicated. If I mean, and I'm just using
• 52:33
sex and weight because that seems to be the most
• 52:35
common topic that's come up so far, is if your
• 52:42
wife just wants you to hugger more or be more
• 52:47
involved in her life and that makes her more sexually
• 52:50
  attractive to you, that's fixable.
• 52:55
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 52:56
Speaker 1: If somebody in the relationship puts on weight and you're
• 52:59
not a tracted to a heavy set person because they've
• 53:02
never were, you might have to start working out with them.
• 53:06
You might have to make sure they eat there. I
• 53:09
mean that stuff is fixable, but no, it get over.
• 53:14
It gets overshadowed by the fact that you guys don't
• 53:17
want to put in the work, and so one person
• 53:19
cheats and then all of a sudden marriage is over
• 53:21
when the reality is it didn't really have to be.
• 53:24
Speaker 2: I mean, not everything's fixable. Some stuff isn't, but most is.
• 53:28
Speaker 1: Are and a poor two five, four, seven to seven.
• 53:31
Let me get to these text messages. Here a roam
• 53:35
someone has to go check up on the last caller's wife.
• 53:37
She's basically getting a roofeed, what are you talking about?
• 53:42
  I don't remember, I know I've got I'm kind of
• 53:45
late on some of your text messages.
• 53:48
Speaker 2: You you ate so rational?
• 53:53
Speaker 1: Agree what you can't sign up forty one You can't
• 53:57
sign up forty one things and then get a another
• 54:00
thing for thirty years of marriage and then expect to
• 54:03
stay with that thing that you didn't sign up for,
• 54:06
whatever that thing is to you been married thirty years.
• 54:11
Completely agree with you, okay, but I mean that's just
• 54:14
my point. You can't make a decision for your entire
• 54:19
life at twenty five or thirty whenever people normally get
• 54:25
married whatever the median ages, and then that person changes
• 54:31
and you go, well, you're stuck with me.
• 54:34
Speaker 2: I gotta deal with it. That's that's not how you
• 54:40
should live your life. Uh day, Good morning, Romeo. What
• 54:46
  are we talking about?
• 54:47
  Speaker 1: Hey?
• 54:47
Speaker 2: They about to Bill Cosby.
• 54:48
Speaker 1: That dude that just called oh raider, Dave show this
• 54:52
  show to his wife.
• 54:54
Speaker 2: He doesn't lead the lame.
• 54:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was the one that was talking about giving
• 54:57
  her roofies or something.
• 54:59
  Speaker 2: I don't know, zempic and something. I don't know what
• 55:02
  it was. Hey, ROMI.
• 55:03
Speaker 1: A lot of people say they're married for they're married.
• 55:06
They're married for fifteen, twenty, thirty plus years, but it
• 55:10
might not be true love, just companionship.
• 55:14
Speaker 2: And some don't leave because.
• 55:16
Speaker 1: They don't want the title of being divorced and they
• 55:20
don't want their family and friends to know that they
• 55:23
are divorced. I mean legitimate points. It's very legitimate what
• 55:27
you're saying. You know already four two pop four or
• 55:30
seven and seven. I just think it's unreasonable to tell somebody, hey,
• 55:34
and for you to be married, let's say thirty plus
• 55:38
years and go see how great we are. We stayed
• 55:41
together when The reality is were you happy at what
• 55:45
point did you become miserable? I mean, or were you happy?
• 55:49
If you were, if it was thirty years of bliss
• 55:51
and happiness, then you know, congratulations. But if you were
• 55:55
married for thirty years and twenty of them sucked, you know,
• 55:59
the first ten were cool, the last twenty sucked.
• 56:03
Speaker 2: Why would you think that was an accomplishment? What are
• 56:05
we talking about here? What did you send me? He
• 56:08
  says Rome.
• 56:08
Speaker 1: There's a huge problem with men wanting to be masking
• 56:12
and play that role. Yeah, they act like women, their
• 56:15
feelings matter more. They refuse to be soft for their
• 56:19
  girls because it's lame.
• 56:24
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 56:25
  Speaker 1: I would say there's a balance, you know, But I
• 56:30
wouldn't say there's more men trying or wanting to be
• 56:33
  masculine today.
• 56:35
  Speaker 2: Maybe maybe, yo.
• 56:38
Speaker 1: Rome, I'm divorced, got divorced because of sex. Now I
• 56:41
talk to girls and get in relationships that don't last.
• 56:44
Speaker 2: So don't get the point.
• 56:46
Speaker 1: So don't get to the point where they come around
• 56:51
  and meet my family.
• 56:52
  Speaker 2: Kids and all.
• 56:53
Speaker 1: That's because I'm in it for the honeymoon stage.
• 56:57
Speaker 2: Then everything is great and happy.
• 57:00
Speaker 1: Soon as I start getting and seeing the signs of
• 57:03
them changing up to who they are, who they are
• 57:09
then setting up to be because they think they got me,
• 57:13
  or till I.
• 57:14
Speaker 2: See who they actually are and I disappear.
• 57:21
Speaker 1: From what I've experienced, all women are almost the same.
• 57:25
They will be perfect for you for four to six months.
• 57:28
After that, you're gonna choose to settle for them or
• 57:31
  show them the door.
• 57:36
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, what have we got here? Hey, good
• 57:39
  morning Rome?
• 57:41
Speaker 1: If everything is fixable, how do you fix a lazy
• 57:44
person who the older they get, the lazier they become.
• 57:48
They become they feel they can because they feel they can.
• 57:53
But they have a job, but just call it work.
• 57:59
But I didn't say everything is fixable. I said most
• 58:03
things are fixable, you know. And so if you're going
• 58:06
to say, you know, if you're going to to be
• 58:11
with somebody and they're getting lazier and lazier, or and
• 58:15
they don't want to do things, or they don't want
• 58:18
to work, or they don't that's and it's not fixable.
• 58:22
Speaker 2: You have to leave.
• 58:23
Speaker 1: That's the point about the conversation is that we talk
• 58:27
about all these we talk about people, these couples, and
• 58:32
you're expected to stay together forever because of you know,
• 58:38
you took some sort of vow. But that's you can't
• 58:41
honestly believe a value you took twenty years ago applies
• 58:47
to you today, especially if your spouse has changed.
• 58:52
Speaker 2: And they're not the same person.
• 58:54
Speaker 1: You know, if you're an outgoing person that still wants
• 58:58
if you both start off as very active people and
• 59:01
a very active couple, you want to keep that going,
• 59:03
doing stuff together, going outdoors. And then your spouse decides, Nope,
• 59:08
I'm just going to be an introvert and stay home.
• 59:11
Because you made a vow to them twenty years ago
• 59:13
or thirty years ago, however long ago. That's not fair
• 59:17
to you. They're the ones that didn't keep their vow
• 59:20
to you, not you, you know, So it just you know,
• 59:27
if you had a very once somebody gets lazy and complacent.
• 59:31
  You know.
• 59:32
Speaker 2: Let's talk about the sex thing.
• 59:33
Speaker 1: The guy says, after four to six months, you know,
• 59:35
he wants to have sex. So after four to six months,
• 59:38
he said, every woman's the same. You know, they stop
• 59:41
wanting to have sex once they think they got you. Well,
• 59:43
what does that say about what you were doing? So
• 59:48
back to the fixable. Not everything is fixable, but I
• 59:52
think everything can be, you know, you can try to
• 59:54
fix everything and if it doesn't work, you gotta go.
• 59:58
And the guy with the sex thing means if after
• 1:00:01
four to six months your h every woman that you've
• 1:00:06
ever dated doesn't want to have sex with you anymore
• 1:00:07
because I think they got you, then that means you're
• 1:00:10
doing something You're doing something wrong, or the women that
• 1:00:14
you're choosing never wanted to have sex in the first
• 1:00:17
place and they're just doing it to get a man.
• 1:00:21
Speaker 2: I mean, do you guys ever think about that? Who?
• 1:00:23
  Why did your sex.
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: Life die in the first place in your marriage? I
• 1:00:31
did go a point when the rhythm of the valley
• 1:00:33
is Romeo already four to two, five, four, seven to
• 1:00:36
seven in Romeo. I've been listening to what you were
• 1:00:39
talking about this morning and the people getting divorced, why
• 1:00:43
they got divorced and staying together. I think that you
• 1:00:47
have a bunch of shallow people that you're talking to.
• 1:00:52
A real marriage deals with problems and you get through
• 1:00:56
  it together.
• 1:00:57
Speaker 2: People who talk about sex.
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: Or why being an issue in a marriage are just
• 1:01:02
shallow people, materialistic, They don't really love each other.
• 1:01:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not fair. Sex is a.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: Very important part of a relationship, Okay, and for some
• 1:01:18
people it is. For some people it isn't. So what's
• 1:01:20
important is for the people that sex is a big
• 1:01:24
deal in a relationship, they need to find each other okay,
• 1:01:29
and they need to work on it. That's not shallow
• 1:01:32
or superficial because sex, sex is a is a big,
• 1:01:36
a big thing in relationships. So would you say attractiveness?
• 1:01:41
So is attractiveness? How can you be with somebody you're
• 1:01:45
not attracted to? It doesn't have to be weight. It
• 1:01:49
could be work ethic, it could.
• 1:01:51
Speaker 2: Be how you, you.
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: Know, help your spouse. I mean, there's a lot of
• 1:01:57
different ways to be attracted to somebody, but you can't
• 1:02:01
discount those and call people shallow because if they care
• 1:02:06
about that, it's okay to care about sex in your marriage.
• 1:02:11
It's okay to care about being attracted to your spouse
• 1:02:15
or being attractive for your spouse.
• 1:02:18
  Speaker 2: Those are all.
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: Reasonable things you need to deal with in a marriage.
• 1:02:24
So I'm not totally sure what you're talking about, But
• 1:02:27
  what do you guys think?
• 1:02:29
  Speaker 2: Marriage is?
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: Two people find each other, they commit in their thirties,
• 1:02:32
and then all of a sudden, everything's just they got
• 1:02:34
to stay together, even if they hate each other. They
• 1:02:36
got to stay together even they don't not attract it
• 1:02:38
to each other. They got to stay together even if
• 1:02:40
they can't communicate with each other. They got to stay
• 1:02:42
together even if they you know, I mean, I don't.
• 1:02:46
All of it plays a part in the relationship. And
• 1:02:50
all we're saying is you think most of you guys,
• 1:02:53
think you've won because you made it through some tough times.
• 1:02:59
That's different than being miserable because you don't get what
• 1:03:03
you want. You think you won because your marriage outlasted
• 1:03:10
even though you were both unhappy in your marriage. That's
• 1:03:16
not life, that's not living life. That's not fair to
• 1:03:18
either one of you. So I don't know what you
• 1:03:22
were talking about. The idea is to find somebody, or
• 1:03:29
I shouldn't even say it like that because it's so
• 1:03:31
even when I say it like.
• 1:03:32
Speaker 2: That, it sounds silly.
• 1:03:33
Speaker 1: But the old idea was to find somebody that you
• 1:03:38
can love for the rest of your life and live
• 1:03:42
  a happy, fulfilling life.
• 1:03:44
Speaker 2: Right, that was the plan, But.
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: Realistically that's not what really happens. And then you think
• 1:03:57
you've won because after forty years or thirty years, you've
• 1:04:00
been miserable for most of that.
• 1:04:02
Speaker 2: Time, that you won. No you didn't win.
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: Already four two, five, four or seven to seven. All
• 1:04:09
I'm saying is you need to figure it out. There's
• 1:04:15
no reason to be unhappy. And if you're somebody that
• 1:04:19
likes to have sex with the person you married and
• 1:04:22
it's not happening, you need to figure it out. If
• 1:04:26
your husband has a beer gut and you're not attracted
• 1:04:28
to that anymore, you guys need to figure it out.
• 1:04:32
Speaker 2: Who's responsible? Is it?
• 1:04:33
  Speaker 5: Is?
• 1:04:33
  Speaker 2: It? Is?
• 1:04:33
  Speaker 7: It?
• 1:04:34
Speaker 2: Is it the responsibility of the person.
• 1:04:38
Speaker 1: Who is not attractive anymore to change or the person
• 1:04:42
who is not attracted to that person anymore to change.
• 1:04:48
It's not a simple answer. It's not into four point one.
• 1:04:52
Speaker 2: Hi, Yeah, what's up?
• 1:04:54
Speaker 5: I was gonna go off with the prompt that you
• 1:04:56
are you still talking about the marriage and divorce?
• 1:05:00
Speaker 2: What do you What are you talk about?
• 1:05:01
  Speaker 4: Yeah?
• 1:05:02
Speaker 5: So I believe it's the romantic size of it. Like
• 1:05:04
with sex, I think, like I know me, I like
• 1:05:09
to be made out with. And I think sometimes like
• 1:05:12
we forget that sex isn't a task. So I think
• 1:05:16
that's a lot of the time why it starts dying out. Yeah,
• 1:05:21
it's like the romantics behind it. And I'm not talking like, oh,
• 1:05:25
you know, soon me off my feet, like we just
• 1:05:27
want on our first date. Sure, but definitely like just
• 1:05:32
making it feel other than task.
• 1:05:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, I could see that.
• 1:05:37
Speaker 1: And well, and now I'm gonna say this after everything
• 1:05:40
I said today, men tend to make it feel like
• 1:05:43
a task, which in turn changes their sex life, but
• 1:05:46
  they don't realize it.
• 1:05:48
Speaker 4: So yeah, yeah, definitely.
• 1:05:51
Speaker 5: And I mean that's like like you said. I was
• 1:05:53
because I was literally just listening to what you were
• 1:05:55
saying where you had said, like, you know, if you
• 1:06:00
don't like something, then tell your partner, because I mean
• 1:06:02
the whole point is to change together so that you
• 1:06:05
  stay happy.
• 1:06:06
Speaker 1: You know that is Yeah, that's exactly what you have
• 1:06:10
to do, especially if they're all things that are fixable
• 1:06:12
within reason of what you know, if you really love
• 1:06:15
and care and want to stay married and all that stuff,
• 1:06:18
you got to fix it together. What are you know,
• 1:06:21
changed together in ways that are compatible for both of you.
• 1:06:23
Speaker 2: That's absolutely I agree with you.
• 1:06:25
  Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
• 1:06:26
Speaker 3: Well, it's nice talking to you.
• 1:06:28
  Speaker 2: I'm a good one.
• 1:06:29
Speaker 1: By the problem is either you guys are too selfish,
• 1:06:35
too stubborn, too stupid, or don't really care, you know, caring,
• 1:06:41
you know, people will say, if you really cared about
• 1:06:45
your relationship, you would figure it out. Okay, But it's
• 1:06:49
not a one sided conversation. It's not a one sided deal.
• 1:06:54
You know, all these people out here who believe that
• 1:06:58
they're just supposed to accept everything their spouse does because
• 1:07:04
they married him, you're wrong. You're not supposed to You
• 1:07:10
  don't have to.
• 1:07:11
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 1:07:12
Speaker 1: Now, that doesn't mean that you turn on them and
• 1:07:16
  you get divorced.
• 1:07:17
  Speaker 2: It means.
• 1:07:20
Speaker 1: It could be fixable. I'm not getting enough sex in
• 1:07:23
my life. How do we fix that? I'm not attracted
• 1:07:28
to you for whatever reason. Most of the time it's weight,
• 1:07:31
But I've not attracted you for whatever reason. How do
• 1:07:34
we fix that? Well, you don't. I'd like you to
• 1:07:35
shave more. I'd like you to dress a little better
• 1:07:38
  like you used to.
• 1:07:39
  Speaker 9: Like.
• 1:07:39
Speaker 1: I mean, there's all these things going on, and women
• 1:07:42
have the same problems. You know.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: Oh, I'm at home, so I'm just supposed to look ratty.
• 1:07:47
Speaker 1: Won't what's wrong with looking nice for your husband when
• 1:07:51
he comes home or vice versa. All the stuff I'm
• 1:07:54
saying goes both ways. But you guys don't want to
• 1:07:59
do that already. Four two five four or seven to seven.
• 1:08:03
Would you send me here? Let's see here, man room.
• 1:08:08
These people are so dumb. You explain to him a
• 1:08:10
hundred different ways, and they still don't get it.
• 1:08:13
  Speaker 4: Us.
• 1:08:13
Speaker 1: Men love attractive women. Women love money. Guess what if
• 1:08:17
you get. If she gets fat, he's leaving her. If
• 1:08:21
he runs out of money, she's leaving. When the relationship started,
• 1:08:25
they would have sex three times a day, and after
• 1:08:28
years of marriage, she gives it to him once a week.
• 1:08:31
It's not gonna work now, the lasting forever part don't
• 1:08:35
make sense. One get at people that get married through church.
• 1:08:40
But there's nothing wrong with divorcing someone if you're not happy.
• 1:08:44
Life is too short. Well, and that's the point is
• 1:08:50
it's it's okay, I'm about advocating. I'm advocating you try
• 1:08:54
to fixture your relationships and get what you want out
• 1:08:57
of your relationship. Because you obviously love somebody enough to
• 1:09:01
marry them, you should get what you want out of
• 1:09:05
that marriage. Though it's just not fair and there's no
• 1:09:11
reason for somebody to live like that. You don't have to, okay.
• 1:09:17
But on the flip side of that is you guys
• 1:09:19
quit too easily. It's not that it's not that you
• 1:09:23
you you know what, you're a quitter. If you get divorced,
• 1:09:26
it's the fact that you quit too easily instead of
• 1:09:28
trying to fix it. And if it still doesn't get fixed,
• 1:09:31
then you quit or divorce already fourteen five four or
• 1:09:36
seven to seven. The guy who said people are dumb,
• 1:09:39
they're not listening to me. I don't think they're dumb.
• 1:09:42
I just think you don't care enough. I think you
• 1:09:45
have been. It's been so ingrained in you that once
• 1:09:49
you marry somebody, you're supposed to just love them how
• 1:09:52
they are, no matter what. Well, there are some real
• 1:09:56
exceptions to those rules that we you don't accept people
• 1:10:01
for you know that are black and white. But there's
• 1:10:04
a whole lot of gray area there too. You know,
• 1:10:08
I knew this woman. I still know her. But she
• 1:10:11
had three sisters and a couple of friends.
• 1:10:17
Speaker 2: It was a you know, it was a group of
• 1:10:20
  girls that we all knew.
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: And she would get up every morning and do her
• 1:10:25
makeup before her husband got well before they were married.
• 1:10:28
Nobody ever saw her without makeup and dressed nice. And
• 1:10:34
she took pride in that when she got married she
• 1:10:39
would actually get up early, put her makeup on for
• 1:10:42
her for her husband, because she didn't want her husband
• 1:10:45
  to see her like that.
• 1:10:46
  Speaker 4: Now.
• 1:10:46
Speaker 2: I don't know that she'd get all done up and
• 1:10:47
dressed before he went to work, but she was proud
• 1:10:50
  of that.
• 1:10:52
Speaker 1: And her sisters, oh no, one of her sisters was
• 1:10:55
the same way her. The other her other two sisters
• 1:10:57
made fun of her. Thought she was ridiculed, thought she
• 1:11:00
was doing too much. Her friends used to say, she's
• 1:11:02
doing too much. Why would you do that for a man?
• 1:11:05
Guess who's still married and not going through a second
• 1:11:09
  or third.
• 1:11:10
  Speaker 2: Divorce her, but.
• 1:11:15
Speaker 1: Her friends or sisters all been divorced because they you know,
• 1:11:19
they're not doing anything like that for a man. That's
• 1:11:23
going too far. She's still happily married. She aculy married
• 1:11:27
to a friend of mine, but she's still happily married.
• 1:11:30
I don't actually know if she still does it.
• 1:11:32
Speaker 2: I haven't seen him in years.
• 1:11:33
Speaker 1: But my point being is she was proud of herself
• 1:11:37
for doing that now, whether she did it for him
• 1:11:40
or not. And you know what the worst part about
• 1:11:44
it was, he didn't even care. He just accepted her
• 1:11:48
for who she was. Because that's so. But the point is,
• 1:11:51
nobody does it. You guys get lazy, you get complacent,
• 1:11:54
and then you wonder, and then you you expect somebody
• 1:11:57
to just stay with you. They're supposed to stay with you. Hey, Romeo,
• 1:12:01
I like what you said. I am a stay at
• 1:12:04
home wife. Me and my husband been married seventeen years.
• 1:12:07
I try every day to look good for him when
• 1:12:11
he comes home. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
• 1:12:14
Sometimes it doesn't happen because you know, you got to
• 1:12:17
deal with kids and you're cleaning. But most of the
• 1:12:21
time I try to stay attractive for him. But also
• 1:12:26
he tries to show that he appreciates me when he
• 1:12:30
gets home in little ways. Sometimes he'll bring me flowers.
• 1:12:33
Sometimes he'll call me on the way home just to
• 1:12:36
say he's excited to see me. So we do have
• 1:12:40
little things that make that keep us attracted to each other.
• 1:12:45
Now by saying that, a lot of people, friends and
• 1:12:50
family don't understand why we are together. I stay in shape,
• 1:12:55
I work out. My husband works hard, but he's got
• 1:12:59
a twenty pounds that he could lose. But I would
• 1:13:03
never tell him that, although you just did. I would
• 1:13:06
never tell him that because are because my because my attractiveness.
• 1:13:13
Oh the reason you're attracted to him. Is not necessarily
• 1:13:17
his weight, it's the other little things that he does
• 1:13:20
  for me.
• 1:13:20
Speaker 2: Okay, well that's what I'm saying. What's wrong with it?
• 1:13:23
You people get so upset when't you get married? Yeah,
• 1:13:26
  you guys are all right?
• 1:13:27
Speaker 1: Eight four, two, five, four, seven and seven. Hey, Romeo,
• 1:13:32
I think it's kind of funny what you just said. Funny, haha, funny.
• 1:13:36
What how that guy might just call his wife to
• 1:13:40
say he's on his way home, he missus, or I've
• 1:13:42
done that before, and my coworkers make fun of me,
• 1:13:46
like there's something wrong with calling my wife and saying
• 1:13:51
I miss her, like I'm some sort of punk or something,
• 1:13:53
when the reality is me and my wife we love
• 1:13:55
each other. You know, there is something to that. There
• 1:14:01
is something to the fact that how often.
• 1:14:07
  Speaker 2: And how often.
• 1:14:10
Speaker 1: Nowadays do you hear people degrade their spouse publicly you're
• 1:14:16
in a group of friends. It's almost like it's taboo
• 1:14:22
to say something nice about your spouse publicly. You know,
• 1:14:27
whether you're with a group of friends, whether you're just
• 1:14:29
talking to your friends or anybody. Why is it so
• 1:14:33
wrong to say yes I love my husband, or yes
• 1:14:36
I love my wife or yes, they do this, they
• 1:14:39
do that, they're great at this, they're great at that.
• 1:14:41
And what because you're in embarrassed other couples whose relationships might.
• 1:14:46
Speaker 2: Not be that good. That's on them, not you.
• 1:14:51
Speaker 1: But there is something to the fact that you get
• 1:14:54
  ridiculed for praising your spouse.
• 1:15:00
Speaker 2: And you get high fived for degrading them.
• 1:15:03
Speaker 4: Probio in the Morning, every morning morning, on ninety four
• 1:15:06
  point one
