- 2:22Speaker 1: So thank you Father, thank you, thank you and thank you again.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Welcome back to another.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Come Out the Wilderness.
- 2:28Speaker 1: This is our Thursday prayer and we've been doing a series based on the words in the Bible story of Nehemiah around, a series called Faith at Work, and so today is our kind of the final run in this four part series that we've been doing.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry I've got a lot of comments and people going.
- 2:49Speaker 1: What in the world is happening?
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'll just come on, come on YouTube streets until Facebook figures out we screen yard.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Y'all need to get it together.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So so we've been just to do a little bit of a recap and again, a shout out to those who are on LinkedIn, also on YouTube, twitter and the faith channel on Parade Deck, good morning, good morning, and shout out to those of you who are going to listen to us later this week on podcast streets.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And again, I'm just grateful for your support.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So I'm just going to run us back a little bit.
- 3:20Speaker 1: This is the fourth week and we came into this year with clear reminds.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We didn't want to do vision boards and jump into, you know, our ideal of what the year is going to look like for us.
- 3:33Speaker 1: A lot of us are really seeking the Lord to have this be an amazing 2024 for us, and it doesn't matter whether you're in business or you work for someone or you're even in the job market.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You know these sessions and these sessions and these teachings have been such a blessing.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So, part one we started that on January 4th on talk about vision and planning, and we talked about how Nehemiah had a clear vision to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and go back and leave the war for yourself, y'all.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But he had a really clear vision to build the walls of Jerusalem and he was really careful in the way that he planned everything out with the rebuilding Jerusalem, he started by assessing the damage and organizing with people and the resources that he needed for the task, and it reminded me a lot of the work that those of you who are in project management you know might come more natural to you.
- 4:27Speaker 1: But the teaching around this was before you shifted into 2024 and you started to make all these plans, before you even sat down with your manager in your business is, as a believer, you need to go back to the Lord and assess, assess.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You know some of the things that were damaged from last year, some of the things you didn't achieve, and you know bringing that before God.
- 4:47Speaker 1: And then you know, really, again, you have to have a relationship with the Lord, right?
- 4:51Speaker 1: So Lord Jesus I'm talking about, and he will.
- 4:55Speaker 1: He will help you to organize the people and the reason, he'll put the resources in place, but you've got to go before him and align what it is that you're trying to do.
- 5:05Speaker 1: So what is the vision that you have for this year?
- 5:08Speaker 1: And again, before you throw things up on a board and, you know, cut out also pictures of your favorite car and how you're going to travel and how you know really having a clear vision for this year.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So Nehemiah's story was was so was so tremendous in this area because it showed us how he learned about the broken walls and Nehemiah one and how the people were affected.
- 5:29Speaker 1: He talked to us about how he went into planning and preparation when he had to ask the king to go to Jerusalem to build the walls.
- 5:38Speaker 1: So he wasn't just popping up because he had a dream.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And then how he took the time to inspect the walls of Jerusalem at night, meaning he was doing his research.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Some of y'all are jumping into new businesses, but you haven't done any research.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So we got to inspect the walls at night, as he did, just doing the research.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And then the week two, we talked about overcoming opposition and you know, even in this part, nehemiah was facing significant opposition and challenges from external enemies, but also from his own internal discouragement, right?
- 6:10Speaker 1: So sometimes you we're what's that saying?
- 6:13Speaker 1: We're our own worst enemies.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So we talked about how you face and overcome these obstacles as you're trying to perceive the vision that you have for 2024.
- 6:22Speaker 1: We studied in Nehemiah four how Sambala and Tabayah mocked the efforts of the Jews at that time and even as opposition really intensified, what did Nehemiah do?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Nehemiah and the people prayed and then they posted a guide.
- 6:36Speaker 1: They prayed and then they took an action, right.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So it's not just praying and throwing up your hope.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You actually do have to have, you have to take an action.
- 6:44Speaker 1: There's faith involved, right, you got to do something.
- 6:47Speaker 1: And then, and then, as we came into week three, which was last week, now we're talking about unity in action and in this we really leaned in on leadership and teamwork and rebuilding.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And Nehemiah four, verse six, told us about how he rebuilt the wall until all of it reached half his height, where the people worked with all their heart.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So there was a sense of trust, a sense of teamwork.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But you know, people aren't going to just follow you and there's a lot of.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You get real mad when you have an idea and people aren't just following you into your idea.
- 7:23Speaker 1: The reason they were they were, I guess, responding with all their heart, doing the work with all their heart is because Nehemiah had a clear vision, they had a common goal.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It wasn't just Nehemiah building himself up, right, he had demonstrated the importance of the teamwork and how they're working towards a common goal and then he really encouraged, encouraged the Jews to work together right, to work together on these things and and that became faith in action.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Right, so he prayed, but he really took practical steps.
- 7:57Speaker 1: There were things that he also had to do to address the injustice among the Jews and Nehemiah 5 or 6 through 12.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And you feel like I can read that about how he addressed the social injustice and you know, talked about.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You know I'm carrying on a great project and he can't go down when there was distractions that showed up and people showed up that you know kind of were trying to take him off his plan and what he need to do.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So that was you know.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That really is the recap.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Amen.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Thank you, tracy.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We are so much more than overcomers.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Again, for those of y'all on Facebook, I dropped the YouTube link.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry it's a stream yard thing, but just share the link y'all so we can get this out.
- 8:34Speaker 1: We are live and we wanna hear your feedback in the comments.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Amen.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So today, this is the last part of this Faith at Work series and we're gonna talk about leadership and dedication, and I will step on some toes.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Don't get mad at me with the word okay.
- 8:52Speaker 1: So now here we've come to.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You know, the wall has been built.
- 8:57Speaker 1: The wall was completed in 52 days.
- 8:59Speaker 1: We learned that in Nehemiah six, verses 15 through 16.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Nehemiah, he was dedicated to his purpose.
- 9:05Speaker 1: He was driven by his passion excuse me for his people his faith.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Everything he did he was in tandem.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You know how people say I wanna do the Lord's will and sometimes they'll say if it's God's will.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But Nehemiah was pretty clear yeah, this is God's will, and so he was putting work behind it.
- 9:26Speaker 1: But here we come to a part in discussion, in the last part, where we talk about how you can, how you lead and again lead.
- 9:35Speaker 1: When I talk about leading, it's not your job title, I'm talking about leadership as a skill, and not everybody has it okay, so we're gonna need that this year.
- 9:45Speaker 1: If you're trying to drive your own passion, there's some things that you have to motivate, even yourself to lead through some things, and you have to commit to the work that commit to the work that you have before you.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So we're gonna look at Nehemiah again and I'm gonna share my screen for those who don't have their words.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Okay, I think we're gonna start with Nehemiah five.
- 10:08Speaker 1: So just bear with me.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Did I pray, lord?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Did I touch me?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Great amen you say.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Hold on to this Father, we just thank you.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You've blessed us with this day.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Thank you that you're continuing to teach us.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Lord, I pray that you release your wisdom to everyone who's under the sound of my voice, that they will hear what it is that they need to hear, so that they'll be inspired and encouraged to carry out whatever it is the dreams and the visions and the hopes and all the things that they are asking you for, that they're doing this in order.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I pray that this lesson in Nehemiah Nehemiah will lift their sails this morning for those who feel discouraged, with those who are feeling distracted, that they will come back in alignment, because it is your will that every need is supplied.
- 10:51Speaker 1: So thank you, lord, for blessing us with this amazing Thursday.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Amen.
- 10:54Speaker 1: He said hold on, sis.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Sorry, y'all, this is.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I have an audience of one and that's Jesus.
- 11:00Speaker 1: So if you come here long enough, you know that.
- 11:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go to Nehemiah, chapter five, and I wanted to show you this as I was in the word this morning before we.
- 11:12Speaker 1: You know, as we talk about leadership and I had mentioned already that leadership I'm talking about it as a scale.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It's even a talent for some people.
- 11:22Speaker 1: When I was growing up, I was always told that I was a natural leader.
- 11:27Speaker 1: My father was a natural leader.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He was just kind of the gentleman like just by his presence he'd walk in a room and people would just he, just like he just assumed he ran things, I don't know right.
- 11:40Speaker 1: He just had that natural tendency of a leader to inspire and encourage people just by showing up.
- 11:47Speaker 1: My mom was like that as well.
- 11:49Speaker 1: She was a quieter presence.
- 11:51Speaker 1: She was a teacher and a minister.
- 11:52Speaker 1: She was a quieter presence.
- 11:54Speaker 1: But again, that's the stock that I came from.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But it doesn't mean that everybody in my all my siblings are all.
- 12:01Speaker 1: We all have leadership skills, but we're not all natural leaders.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Like my sister is more quiet, reserved.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You know, couple of my brothers are more out front.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I am actually more quiet and reserved, but I'm also out front when I need to be, which is very shocking to a lot of people.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But what I wanna show you here, before we move into talking about leadership and dedication, and what he did in Nehemiah's form of generosity.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So verse 14, this is chapter five.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Moreover, from the time that I was appointed to be the governor and the land of Judah, from the 20th year to the 32nd year I'm gonna skip the king's name Neither I nor my brothers ate the food allowance of the governor.
- 12:41Speaker 1: The former governors who were performing laid heavy burdens on the people and took from them for their daily ration.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And it talks about even their servants lording over the people.
- 12:52Speaker 1: But he didn't do it because of the fear of all or because of the respect that he had for God, the authority of God.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Now I wanna call this out really quickly, because a lot of times when we're asking God for positions of influence as well, or we're asking God to promote us as believers, I want you to look at and model this type of behavior.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Right, sometimes we get the promotion and again, not just job promotion.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Maybe you're elevated in your community.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Maybe you're now a deacon.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Maybe you're not in the back of the church anymore, you're sitting up in the front with the pastor.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Whatever, you've gone through some kind of elevation.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Your business is taking off.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Some kind of elevation, right, you're married now some kind of elevation.
- 13:37Speaker 1: But I wanna show you the heart that comes with a leader, and I wanna show this to you because there is this strong characteristic of being generous.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Right, when me and Maya talks about not taking, not lording over people.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Lording over people, so lording over people means that you're expecting them to submit to you in all things.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You're micromanaging, right.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You're lording over like people can't make a decision without you, and I mean this even in your home.
- 14:10Speaker 1: That's why I wanna lean in on leadership as a skill.
- 14:13Speaker 1: If you're that husband that you picked that one verse in the Bible and again he didn't finish out the rest of the chapter and you're thinking, okay, I'm a lord over my family, I wanna show you here that an example of me and Maya's generosity and his heart posture and the reason he wasn't trying to lord over people, although even he was appointed to be their governor right, so he was appointed.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It wasn't a stolen position, he was placed there, but his heart posture was not to lord over people.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Why?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Because of the respect, the fear of God that he had.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It also said that I also persevered in the work on this wall and he's saying, yeah, we continued the work.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And he's saying that we acquired no land and all my servants were gathered there for the work, right, so people were still, they were still invested in doing this work and it's talked about at his table there were 150 men and he talked about people who came to us from the nations that were around us.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So, as a leader and I'll try to share that example, how, with my dad, it was just a natural tendency for people to flock to him there's a characteristic as a leader that we carry that people are drawn to you.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Why?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Because they see they either see something in you that they wanna achieve themselves right, so they're inspired by your confidence and they're inspired by how well you speak.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm just making these they're inspired by.
- 15:40Speaker 1: We get so easily influenced but listen, influenced.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Are you going on TikTok and somebody's selling us the pink stuff and now we're all buying it?
- 15:49Speaker 1: You've been influenced.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You buy the pink stuff and it's terrible, it doesn't work.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But that doesn't make that personal, it makes them an influencer.
- 15:55Speaker 1: It's very different, right?
- 15:57Speaker 1: So I just wanted to share all of this with you.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Near Maya 14, verse 19,.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Is his heart posture?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Even talked about that, the last verse.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Remember for my good, oh my God, all that I've done for this people and as he is fearing God, as he's going before the Lord, about him as a leader, it's always about the people.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It's always about what God has for him.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It was not about himself.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And so the more that he was, the more generous he was as a leader, the more that he was being blessed, the more that God was.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Again, he'd ask God, give me success.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Right?
- 16:35Speaker 1: So the Lord gave him success on what it is that he had to do.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I bet you didn't think I was going to talk about generosity when I'm talking about leadership.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You thought I was going to come in and talk about what we consider leadership.
- 16:46Speaker 1: No, I want you to understand that, even as a leader, it comes from the heart.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's your heart posture, your heart posture and how you serve and how you encourage people and how you serve those people that have been placed in your position, even as a mother, if you're not again, not, I'm not talking about an exec on a job, even for those of us who are but even as a mom, you're a leader.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And so what is your heart posture when it comes to that position that you were pulled into as a mom?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Right, are you saying, lord, you know I want to persevere on this work that you've given me as a mom.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm not going to lord over, you know, control my kids.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You know what is your heart posture when it comes to being generous with as a leader, all right.
- 17:32Speaker 1: So I wanted to share that really quickly.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You know, and listen, I'm just going, I'm going where he sends me, but he took me on that one this morning and we have to learn the lesson, amen.
- 17:41Speaker 1: So the next thing I want to, the next verse I wanted to talk to you about, is the dedication.
- 17:47Speaker 1: This one is, this one's going to be a little bit different and I think this is going to be a little bit.
- 17:52Speaker 1: It's going to be a lot of bit challenging for a lot of y'all.
- 17:56Speaker 1: So I'm going to share this verse and I want to share this, I want to share this and y'all again, please know I'm coming from love, okay, so, as a leader, as a leader, there is a point in any project or any situation that you're in where it comes to some kind of completion.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Right, you've completed the project, you've closed the deal, you know you've, you've, you finished up your day, whatever it is right.
- 18:26Speaker 1: What I love about this part of the story was the dedication.
- 18:30Speaker 1: So I want to, I want to show you a couple of things in the MI 12 and talks about in verse 27, at the dedication of the wall, and I'm going to contextualize this a little bit about the Levites are all in their place.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So there were people in position and they were celebrating the completion.
- 18:48Speaker 1: They had gladness, they were seeing, they were, you know, had Thanksgiving.
- 18:52Speaker 1: This is spring.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Thank you, lord, entering these gates of Thanksgiving into his course with praise.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Be thankful unto him that I just dropped into my spirit, because when you come to the end of your day, when you come to the end of your project, I wonder how many of you are doing that in free celebration and gladness, even if the project fail.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Thank you, lord, that you gave me this opportunity to learn from this experience, even if the project failed.
- 19:16Speaker 1: That is a.
- 19:17Speaker 1: That is something that helps you build up your leadership skills, because you have to be able to rejoice.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Why?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Because people are watching your response to the situations that you're in as a leader.
- 19:29Speaker 1: As a leader, can you imagine if, as a leader, you know after, you know after, after, after a project and it doesn't end well and all I'm doing is, you know custom and fussing and talking about how terrible people were and I can't believe y'all didn't come through?
- 19:43Speaker 1: We really could have clocked, you know, locked in that deal if you didn't so and so right now.
- 19:49Speaker 1: So this, this portion of me and my worry, talks about the dedication it just really brought it back for me on.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I hope it bless you because it really blessed me.
- 19:57Speaker 1: How am I even closing out my day when I come to the end of the day and I'm celebrating even if things didn't go the way you thought they should go that you're ending it in gladness and I thank you, lord, that, oh man, I learned a lesson today and I thank you, lord, that I learned that lesson, because now I'm prepared for another trial, amen.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And it also says in verse 30 that the priests and the Levi's purify themselves, and they purified the people and the gates at the wall.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And also, what I love about this is that constant purification.
- 20:28Speaker 1: So, again, I'm just sharing things that I do.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I always a Lord.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Before I go into meetings, y'all, Lord, let the words that I speak be your words.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Father, fill me with wisdom.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Father, you know, give me a sound and stable mind before I go into this meeting.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Lord, help me to be a good listener.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Lord, you know, plant the seeds.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Lord, god, you know, let me inspire and encourage someone.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Is that the kind of prayer y'all are praying as leaders before you go in a meeting.
- 20:55Speaker 1: No, then start doing that right.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Why?
- 20:58Speaker 1: It builds up your spiritual muscles as a leader.
- 21:00Speaker 1: It shows you how to.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It shows you how to see things.
- 21:05Speaker 1: How I perceive things are different may seem more patient.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I also understand that there are times when I just need the ministry of angels to do their job everything it isn't for us to do.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So you purify yourself before you go into a meeting.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Again, you don't have to make a big thing out of it and post it on tiktok and say, look, I purified.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Please stop doing that.
- 21:25Speaker 1: You need to have some, some level of reverence with this.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Have a, have a, have a, have a my.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Don't get a rental, a holy lifestyle.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So maybe you pop in the bathroom or go in the hallway.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Sometimes I'll just be sitting at my desk and I'm in worship and people don't even know.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Okay, but purifying yourself, you know.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Purify yourself and, lord, I'm, I'm asking that and bless all the people involved.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Again, these are things that we're doing, we're dedicating.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It's a dedication to the work and completion of that work as a leader.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He talks about how, in verse 31, he brought the leaders up and appointed people, so he started putting the right people in place.
- 22:04Speaker 1: He put the right people in place and I wanna encourage those of y'all who feel like you've been missed out on and you could have been a better manager or a better project leader, a better analyst, a better doctor.
- 22:17Speaker 1: If only you would have been chosen.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, there are times when you just need to praise God that you were.
- 22:23Speaker 1: He has set you apart for something different.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Sometimes he's gotta do the work that he needs to do on us undercover.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Everybody can't see what God's doing in your life.
- 22:33Speaker 1: He'll reveal you when it's time, amen.
- 22:36Speaker 1: So Nehemiah brought up the leaders and he appointed the quiet and they gave thanks.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 22:41Speaker 1: This is leadership, right, this is dedication.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And he talks about how they.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He gave thanks and he followed them up with half the people and all the way through verse 38.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And you can see it just continued.
- 22:54Speaker 1: What did they do?
- 22:55Speaker 1: They offered sacrifices, for God had made them rejoice with great joy, and the women and children.
- 23:01Speaker 1: So here is an extension of being the kind of leader who is joyful, who is thankful, who is grateful, and you know that echoes everything around you, everyone around you.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So if you have that kind of mindset, amen, everything around you echoes Nobody wanna work for anybody who's miserable.
- 23:21Speaker 1: And again, this is whether you're a leader by title, meaning your manager, your supervisor, your senior exec, whatever it is leader by title.
- 23:30Speaker 1: But now we're talking about leader by character.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Right, you don't have to have a job.
- 23:35Speaker 1: That job title, that title gives you access, but it doesn't give you influence.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And so the reason why a lot of senior leaders respond in the way they do, with fear.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Right, they lead by fear, and people lead by fear when they have no influence.
- 23:51Speaker 1: People lead by fear when they're insecure.
- 23:55Speaker 1: You gotta know what you're dealing with, but if you know that that's the kind of person that you're working for, if your manager is one who is leading by fear and insecurity, then you gotta go back to the Lord and he will show you how to operate in that environment.
- 24:11Speaker 1: But what it doesn't mean is for you to stop praising and thanking God because you are leading yourself.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And so don't lock down your own influence, don't stop being a positive influence, don't stop inspiring and encouraging other people around you because one person is leading through insecurity and fear, because there are other people who are watching you again as leaders.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Right, leadership the character?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Right, dedicating your?
- 24:40Speaker 1: How do you dedicate your time?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Are you commit your time to closing things out?
- 24:43Speaker 1: How do you inspire and encourage people around you, right, even in prayer?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Again, you don't have to be out front shout out about all you know.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You don't gotta listen.
- 24:53Speaker 1: You don't even have to go into tongues.
- 24:55Speaker 1: 20 minutes, simple prayer, simple prayer.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Father, I thank you that your shield of faith covers me around me.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I thank you that you're here right now.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Amen, it's our response, so I pray that that helps you.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Today, as we talked about leadership and dedication, I told you I was gonna be a little bit different.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Maybe not what you thought you were coming for, but toes need to be stepped on right.
- 25:21Speaker 1: So I'm gonna bring up Tracy's comment your all eyes are on the leader.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yes, it's an opportunity to show joy, mercy, innovation, resilience and it's an opportunity to show God working through you.
- 25:32Speaker 1: A lot of people thank you, tracy.
- 25:35Speaker 1: The only thing they know about Jesus is you.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You are the ambassador.
- 25:40Speaker 1: This is your job.
- 25:41Speaker 1: You are the reason for this season.
- 25:44Speaker 1: This is your job, right?
- 25:46Speaker 1: So the only thing you know about Jesus is you.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I don't have to tell anybody.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'm a Christian.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Of course y'all know because I'm on the streets, right, but I never had to say, excuse me, I'm a Christian.
- 25:58Speaker 1: No, I never had to.
- 25:59Speaker 1: It showed up through my action, it showed up through my response.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Sometimes it wasn't that great because I do something in my response and Holy Spirit's like no, we don't do that, right, right, but leadership and dedication.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And so we thank you that you are teaching us, lord, to be better, be better and do better.
- 26:19Speaker 1: As believers, those of us who are asking for you to demonstrate your greatness through us we thank you that your glory sits in us and it's oh, thank you that you're glorifying yourself through us.
- 26:31Speaker 1: We thank you that we are the vessels, we are the ambassadors, we are the blessings.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I thank you for the word yesterday.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Just remind us that people that are looking for blessings and breakthrough he said blessing is a man and a woman and breakthrough is a man and a woman that you're completing those works through us.
- 26:48Speaker 1: So, fathers, we wanna be the blessings and the breakthrough in our family.
- 26:52Speaker 1: We thank you for teaching us how to be good leaders in your eyes and we thank you for the demonstration through the story of Nehemiah building the walls.
- 27:02Speaker 1: We thank you for teaching us because you love us and you want the best for us.
- 27:07Speaker 1: And, lord, we thank you for the doors that you have opened for those who have been promoted, who have been blessed in that way that you will give them the wisdom and the understanding and the heart to serve Lord God, and for those who haven't been promoted and those who are in that place, lord, I pray that you will encourage them so they know that they should carry on, lord God, because they are leaders as well, leaders as a character.
- 27:29Speaker 1: You are watching what we do with the power and influence that we get.
- 27:33Speaker 1: So we thank you, lord God, that you're increasing territories of everyone under my voice, lord God, that you've already rolled out the red carpet.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Amen.
- 27:43Speaker 1: We're walking into our destinies, lord God, as we're walking into the futures that you have crafted so carefully for us, so that we will succeed.
- 27:52Speaker 1: We bless every family who stands in need in this season of jobs, lord God.
- 27:57Speaker 1: We bless every family who stands in need of healing, lord God, that they will see your blessing today and that blessing comes out of person.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I pray, lord God, that the veil is lifted over our eyes so we can see the real blessing and see the real breakthrough that comes, because it doesn't always come in the way that we think.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So we thank you for sending your blessing and the breakthrough today.
- 28:17Speaker 1: In Jesus' name.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Amen, amen, wasn't that amazing, y'all, I'm sorry.
