- 4:40to our guest tonight. Mike Famelant, a thirty four year old EMT firefighter
- 4:46and graphic designer, is a full time bigfoot researcher, producer, and lead
- 4:49investigator from Northwest New Jersey. He first got into bigfooting in twenty eleven on
- 4:55an expedition in North Florida, where him and a friend experienced rocks being thrown
- 4:59at them while sitting a campfire. Since then, he's made it his personal
- 5:01goal to find out exactly what is roaming the woods of America. In twenty
- 5:06sixteen, after becoming frustrated with a lack of true research expedition shows on TV,
- 5:13he created his own show called In the Shadow of Big Red Eye.
- 5:16The show is currently filming their eighth season. In twenty eighteen, Mike also
- 5:20created a docuseries called Squatchables, which is creative for people who are just getting
- 5:26into big footing. Sort of a big footing one oh one. With a
- 5:30passion for bigfooting and a history and video editing, I decided to make the
- 5:32first real show about what expeditions are truly about. You'll see raw and cut
- 5:36footage of what bigfooting actually is. There's one thing that he wants people to
- 5:41gain from the show is for families and friends to get off the couch,
- 5:45get outside into nature and explore what this amazing world has to offer. All
- 5:50of his shows can be found on his website, Shadow Offredeye dot com,
- 5:56and he also has a YouTube channel. You guys, please help me.
- 5:59Welcome to the show, Mike Family. Aand did I pronounce that right?
- 6:03It's close enough femline family, good enough? Uh? I think I want
- 6:08to join you in that watch party in Reno by the way, that sounds
- 6:12amazing. Oh awesome. Well, hey, I'll put you on the list.
- 6:15You better be there then that's going to be a good time. Have
- 6:17we always have a good time. All right, good, Thank you so
- 6:20much for having me. I'm so excited to be here. I've been low
- 6:25key wanting to do this for so long. Now I'm so excited to be
- 6:28here. So thank you. Well, welcome to Space Out Radio. I
- 6:30am so glad that you're here. You and I have so much in common
- 6:34when it comes to these critters out there in the woods. And it's so
- 6:39interesting that you actually started bigfooting the exact same year that I started big footing.
- 6:44Okay, so whoa, So this is like back we're like ancient monsters.
- 6:49Now, oh my god, I know career. I mean, like
- 6:53we're old people. Now, that's crazy, we're old school. Well your
- 6:58first experience you were, you said, it says you were in North Florida.
- 7:02Okay, So, like one of the first places that I ever investigated
- 7:06was in Chattahoochee, Florida, up in North Florida. So I don't know
- 7:10if that's when you were or not, but that's where one of my first
- 7:13investigations, was chattahoochie, that sounds like three Rivers? Am I not mistaken?
- 7:18I believe? So, yeah, three rivers is beautiful. We were
- 7:21a little bit east of there in ter Reya State Forest. Yeah, okay,
- 7:27very cool. A lot of bigfoot activity down there now. And I
- 7:30say down there because I'm in Georgia, Okay, And but they have like
- 7:33skunk ape activity and wildman reports have been had been coming out of there since
- 7:39the eighteen hundreds. Yeah, it's crazy. They there's definitely something going on
- 7:43down there. I mean, for short, we were just down there a
- 7:46week and a half ago, and I'm heading back down there next week actually
- 7:49on another expedition. So I can't wait to get back down there. I'm
- 7:53so excited. Oh my gosh. Well, tell me a little bit about
- 7:58what you do and about your docuseries and boys, I mean, that's a
- 8:03lot. So let's start off with this. How about this. Tell me
- 8:07how what got you interested in bigfooting and how you got your foot in the
- 8:11door with the big footing stuff, and then and then we'll move on to
- 8:13your head. Okay, yeah, yeah, that sounds that sounds great.
- 8:16How I got into bigfooting? I was never into the outdoors at all.
- 8:22This is so going back into back to like twenty eleven. We're going to
- 8:28say, and I'm watching I'm working in Sarasota, Florida at a beach resort,
- 8:35right, best job I've ever had my entire life. The boss was
- 8:41like, Hey, if you want to go out and watch the sunset every
- 8:43night with our guests, go ahead and do that. I'm like, okay,
- 8:46you don't kind of tell me twice, you know. Anyways, watching
- 8:50Finding Bigfoot on TV and they were like, hey, do you want to
- 8:52come out with us? And I said, oh my god, There's no
- 8:56way that I'm not doing this. This is like the coolest thing ever.
- 8:58I'm going to go out a big squadch expedition with the people from TV.
- 9:01This was wild, right, So yeah, anyways, come to find out,
- 9:11it was very expensive. Signed up that night, non refundable tickets,
- 9:16mind you come to find out. So anyways, uh, I was engaged
- 9:20at the time, and I bought two tickets because I wanted to bring my
- 9:24fiance and I did not tell her what we were going to do. This
- 9:28was going to be like a pre wedding surprise little thing type thing, right,
- 9:33So Anyways, she had no idea. I had to start. This
- 9:39is my first time ever camping, so I had to start like acquiring camping
- 9:43gear, like my tent and my sleeping bag and stuff like that. Right.
- 9:46So, and I was hiding all this stuff in my little like patio
- 9:52closet that I had in my one bedroom apartment with my fiance and anyways,
- 9:58so she for some reason one day decided to clean the place. Never in
- 10:07my life had she ever cleaned ever anything ever before. However, she decided
- 10:11that she was going to clean this, this, this apartment, and she
- 10:16found all the camping gear, and she was like, Mike, what are
- 10:20we doing? And I said, hun, we are going to North Florida
- 10:26and we are looking for Bigfoot, right, and then she was like wow,
- 10:31what was She was, Oh no, we broke up after it?
- 10:35No? No, yeah, well yeah, well, I you know,
- 10:41there's probably you know, some other reasons on top of that. But yeah.
- 10:43Uh so, anyways, that left me in a pretty uh uh unfortunate
- 10:48situation because these tickets, like I said, were non refundable. So I
- 10:52moved up to Tampa. I get a job on the ambulance, which is
- 10:54my uh my career I'm an emt by trade, and A got the job
- 11:03of the ambulance and I met my partner, Jimmy. He was very weird,
- 11:09so I was like, oh, he might be able to go with
- 11:11me on this expedition. So I asked him. I said, hey,
- 11:13Jimmy, I got this trip to go up to look for Bigfoot. You
- 11:18want to come with me? And He's like, man, I've always wanted
- 11:20to do that. It's like nice, right, perfect. So we end
- 11:24up in North Florida and Terree Estate Park and the nothing happened at all.
- 11:33It was it was kind of terrible. I mean it was good. We
- 11:37had, you know, three days of hiking and meeting bigfoot witnesses and talking
- 11:43to experts and researchers and stuff like that, but we didn't have any like
- 11:48bigfoot activity. And that was until the last night. We were up watching
- 11:54a meteor shower that was coming down. It was really really beautiful, and
- 11:58all of a sudden we hear a knock on a tree and I didn't think
- 12:05too much of it. I was like, whatever, excuse me, And
- 12:09then all of a sudden we hear another knock the complete opposite direction, So
- 12:15I was like, hmm, I thought it was these people that put on
- 12:18the expedition. I was like, they must be hoaxing us, right,
- 12:22because this is what they do. You know, we didn't have any big
- 12:26foot activity, so whatnot. Whatever. Anyways, so then all of a
- 12:31sudden, about ten minutes later, you hear them crashing through the forest a
- 12:37fist sized rock, right, And it was at this point in my life
- 12:43where I said, now this is how horror movies start. I am getting
- 12:48out of here, right. So I go. My buddy's like Jimmy,
- 12:52He's like, well, if you want to sleep in the car, you're
- 12:54more than welcome to sleep. And by the time he said that, I
- 12:56had my tent, my sleeping bag and I was just be lining it right
- 13:00to the car. So anyways, it's like Mike, you know, he
- 13:03comes up to me. He's like, Mike, bigfoots throw rocks and they
- 13:07knock on trees. This could be like, this could be squatchy activity.
- 13:09So I was like, yeah, you're right. Jersey in the house and
- 13:13I was like, yeah, this, I guess you're right. So we
- 13:16went back out by the campfire, and over the course the next fifteen minutes,
- 13:22four more of these fist sized rocks come crashing down, land five to
- 13:26ten feet from us, right. So, my buddy, he's like,
- 13:31I'm gona throw a rock back at it. I said, I don't think
- 13:35that's a good idea, Jimmy. You know. So he takes a rock,
- 13:37chucks it back in that direction, and I knew it wasn't a person
- 13:43that was throwing these rocks because at that exact moment, a fifteen pound laptop
- 13:48sized boulder came crashing down, landed five feet from us. So that was
- 13:54my find first experience in a big footing and what got me into this whole
- 13:58phenomenon of the cryptid world. Boths, Oh my gosh, it must have
- 14:01been quite the experience because it got you really super interested. Some of the
- 14:07first times I ever went out with my team, which before it was my
- 14:09team, I had a big rock thrown across a creek and it landed by
- 14:13my feet around the campfire one night. Yeah. You know, if they
- 14:18wanted to hit me, they would have hit me. Absolutely. They don't.
- 14:22They never, they never actually hit us. But it gets really you
- 14:24know, they actually got to be really good aim if they're throwing it right
- 14:26at us, or they don't hit us. Yeah, yeah, well,
- 14:30I think they they intentionally threw rocks at us because they wanted to get us
- 14:33out of the area. I think it was like an intimidation type thing,
- 14:35and I think that's that's what they do. I'm pretty sure I've gotten rockstorwn
- 14:39at me excuse me up in a white hall in New York as well,
- 14:43and I think that was more of an intimidation thing, like like, you
- 14:48know, hey, get out of the area. You know, yeah,
- 14:50we get we get a lot of warnings. Okay, so you had mentioned
- 14:54something about the TV show okay that you had, You're gonna go down there
- 14:58and hang out with the guys from I was Finding Bigfoot, right, Yeah,
- 15:03much much like you. I know, I watched the Bigfoot shows and
- 15:07I remember thinking, and I actually have a very good friend who's like family
- 15:09to me, who's on a show it's called killing Bigfoot at the time.
- 15:15Okay, Grumpy's on. I'm actually on his team. Okay, but they're
- 15:18not going to kill a bigfoot by the way, Okay, so anybody's wondering
- 15:22they didn't kill a bigfoot, but he that was the name of the show.
- 15:26And uh and so, but before before that show, you know,
- 15:28I'm watching these shows and I'm watching it, I'm thinking, man, those
- 15:31that's not really what we do out in the field. It's not like a
- 15:35real representation. What they're showing the public is not really what we're out there
- 15:39doing. So that's why I really appreciate what you do, because you started
- 15:46documenting. Eventually, you started documenting your journey with the Bigfooting, right.
- 15:52Yeah. I was just kind of like, why uh, why not?
- 15:56You know, I got the experience doing some video editing and and like you
- 16:00said, the shows on TV. After doing this for a couple of years,
- 16:03I was like, man, these shows on TV are really cool,
- 16:07but they don't really show the true gist of what big footing truly is.
- 16:14So I was like, I'm gonna make my own show. And we just
- 16:18hit three thousand subscribers the other day, so I think it's doing pretty good.
- 16:22Oh congratulations, Thank you appreciate it. Yeah. What I really like
- 16:26about you documenting what you're doing is, like you you say, it's like
- 16:30raw and uncut kind of stuff. Right, So what we do out there,
- 16:34Okay, first of all, we get dirty. Ok and this is
- 16:37coming from my field research experience. You get dirty, my hair gets greasy,
- 16:41okay, like we're covered in mud, we're covered in bugs and gnats
- 16:45and mosquito bites, and it can be quite boring. Sometimes poison ivy got
- 16:52poison ivy last time I was out. Don't forget that. Oh my god,
- 16:55and poison ivy. Okay, well that happens, just don't. Yeah,
- 17:00be careful what you're touching out there and what you And I started getting
- 17:03allergic to poison ivy at this point. I don't know. As I've got
- 17:06as I gotten older, I'm more susceptible to like poison ivy for some reason,
- 17:11so or poison oak. I don't know. But anyways, it can
- 17:15be rather like kind of brutal out there, and it's not really what some
- 17:22of those TV shows portray it to be. Not not that it's glamorous by
- 17:26any means what they show, but but yeah, and and I appreciate the
- 17:30fact that you want to bring every you know, anyone who's interested into it
- 17:34into it and to teach them about bigfooting and stuff. And it's excuse me,
- 17:41it's not even like is you know, it's it's one thing to bring
- 17:47you know, people out, Like you said in my intro to to bring
- 17:48friends and families outside into nature, and I think that's that's paramount. I
- 17:52think that's that's fundamentally one of the one of the the most genuine wine things
- 18:00that you could do is to just get outside and explore nature. But big
- 18:07footing, you know, is not inherently for everybody. It's kind of scary,
- 18:11right looking for an eight foot tall bipedal hominid out there in the in
- 18:17the in the middle of the nights. Not for everybody. But I would
- 18:21challenge anybody, if you're not even into big footing, go out there and
- 18:25start to like like go fishing or hiking, or learn survival stuff like I
- 18:29could, like I could rub two sticks together and make a fire. Now,
- 18:32like that's crazy. Never thought I could be able to do that.
- 18:34But you know, anything, anything that gets you outdoors and its nature,
- 18:38I think is just paramount to anything sitting watching TV on the couch. You
- 18:44know. Yeah, tell me about your experience up in New Jersey, because
- 18:48I'm way down here in the south and when I think of New Jersey,
- 18:52I think of the Jersey Devil and I'm into all the cryptids. Okay,
- 18:57So, like I love all the local legends and lore of all the different
- 19:02areas, and I've done several shows on the Jersey Devil and we talked about
- 19:06it pretty often. But I've actually been bigfooting in New York, so I
- 19:10know y'all got big foot sep there where New York were you? I was
- 19:15up at near Montalk actually Montauk, New York, off Long Island, of
- 19:19all places. Yeah, that's cool, Montalk Monster up that way, no
- 19:23Kidd's Yeah, that's that. I was actually up there with some survivors of
- 19:29the Montalk project that happened up there, and I had my own personal tour
- 19:33guide. His name is Long Island Bigfoot. Okay, Mike. He might
- 19:37be in the chats and I don't know, but Mike and uh, some
- 19:41of the guys they they were like my own personal tour guys up there,
- 19:45and we had some bigfoot activity while we were there, for sure. Yeah,
- 19:51because you take of places like New Jersey and New York, especially Long
- 19:55Island, and a lot of people don't think that there'd be bigfoot set there.
- 19:59Uh, there's a lot of big what's up there though? Yeah?
- 20:00Yeah, I mean New Jersey, you got the most densely populated state,
- 20:04so you don't think it would be good for any cryptids, right, but
- 20:10or the really haunted roads West Milford Clinton Road. If you go on to
- 20:15my YouTube channel, we did a whole documentary on Clinton Road. Very cool.
- 20:18That's right outside of Sussex County, New Jersey. But yeah, New
- 20:22Jersey's got some really cool and fascinating places to pine barrens one point one million
- 20:27acres. I mean, that's that's a that's a legitimate it's actually the largest
- 20:33undeveloped tract of land between Florida and Maine on the eastern seaboard. So we
- 20:41got some some land if you if you, if you think about it.
- 20:44Uh. And then up by where we are up in northwest New Jersey,
- 20:49up in the in the Kiddatiti Mountains, you have the Delaware Water Gap area
- 20:56and high Point State Park, Stokes Mountain, Stokes State four. It's really
- 21:00absolutely phenomenal. There's a lot of area that something can roam for sure.
- 21:04Oh yeah, well you don't just stay in the New Jersey area, but
- 21:10cause you pretty much go and do research all over, especially like the southeast
- 21:12and just the eastern part of the United States, right, yeah, the
- 21:15whole East coast. Yeah, we're hitting this year we have had nineteen states
- 21:22lined up for our tour this year, so I'm so excited to get on
- 21:26the road. You have no idea. I got cabin peeps so bad.
- 21:30Oh, I bet I'm actually jealous. I would love to be out doing
- 21:33big footing all the time now. So you take off on like a whirlwind
- 21:37tour, right, It's like a tour where you're going from city to city
- 21:41every day for how long months on end, like a couple of months.
- 21:45What I do is I pick like a geographical area, say the Midwest or
- 21:51something like that, or the South. I'm doing the South Southern leg of
- 21:52the tour, so I'm going to Mississippi, Florida, Georgia for Georgia and
- 22:00Alabama this tour the next one coming up, and I were staying in the
- 22:03Florida Panhandle so I can hit those kind of states from there. And I
- 22:07go for about two to three weeks and hit as many venues as I possibly
- 22:12can, try to bring my message to people to come out and explore the
- 22:18outdoors more. And they happened to I normally speak at libraries, and they
- 22:26happen to pay me to go, and that funds my way to camp at
- 22:30these state parks and national forests and stuff at night, and it funds my
- 22:33way to keep the show up and look for Bigfoot on the road. So
- 22:37it's really a win win win, if you can think of it that way.
- 22:42It is. What do you think about the national parks having lots of
- 22:47bigfoots in them? Do you think that they were designated that land was designated
- 22:51as national parks potentially to take care of the bigfoots and give them a place
- 22:55to live. I'm not sure about that, but I do know that the
- 22:59national parks are very desolate. I mean, you don't have a lot of
- 23:02people there. Especially. You have the National park system, which is which
- 23:04is phenomenal. It's it's it's it's it's unrivaled anywhere else in the world.
- 23:10Really, uh, it's it's magnificent. But then you have also the national
- 23:15forests and uh that uh the you know, you have a lot of just
- 23:21undeveloped, just wild lands out there. And that's what I prefer to camp
- 23:25in is national forest one because they're free, uh and two because it's it's
- 23:29a lot of primitive camping in national forests. There's not a lot of designated
- 23:33areas, which I think you know, you have a better chance of punning
- 23:34bigfoot in Oh. Yeah. Oh. I do a lot of my research
- 23:38in national forest and in state parks, and we've got out and done investigations
- 23:44at state parks here in Georgia, where I get calls from state park rangers
- 23:49and stuff. They're saying, hey, you know, we've got all these
- 23:52big foot reports come in you plase come and investigate and stuff. So there
- 23:56are people that actually work in these parks that are pretty aware that there's big
- 24:00foot activity going on in some of those. Now do you ever get calls
- 24:04to go investigate or do you just kind of pick places that have high densities
- 24:07of bigfoot sightings? So here's kind of a secret between behind how I pick
- 24:17the places that I go to. Right, So about six to eight months
- 24:22prior to going to we'll say a library, right, what I'll do is
- 24:26I'll email pick a state, and I'll email every library in that state and
- 24:30I'll say, hey, I got this really amazing bigfoot program that I could
- 24:37bring to you, and do you want me to come out and speak at
- 24:41your library? And they'll say absolutely yes. I'll say Okay, awesome,
- 24:45and then I'll get a couple libraries in that area to do the same thing,
- 24:51and I'll schedule that, you know, day after day after day.
- 24:55And then what I'll do is I'll pick a place in the middle of those
- 24:57geographic areas is and try to camp there. So it's not necessarily I don't
- 25:03go to areas that are necessarily bigfoot sightings, but areas that are geographically logistically
- 25:11in the area of where I need to be library presentation wise, it just
- 25:14makes more sense to do it that way. Nice. I like that.
- 25:18Okay, So that's kind of what's your own out and doing and getting out
- 25:22in the community and talking to the communities about bigfoots. Do people ever come
- 25:26into these meetings that you have and tell you about their experiences with bigfoots?
- 25:30Oh, that's like one of the best parts about it. Yeah, that's
- 25:34the library has always asked me how long is your presentation, and I say,
- 25:37well, it's an hour long, but people stay after and they chat,
- 25:41so it usually usually lingers. People linger about an hour or so after,
- 25:45which is awesome because a lot of times these people will have never had
- 25:52the opportunity to share their bigfoot story before, so I'll give them I'll be
- 25:57you know, in they're local from the areas, so it gives them a
- 26:02good output to In all my presentations, I always ask you know, one
- 26:06of the first things I asked is has anybody seen a bigfoot? And if
- 26:08you would like to share about it? And there's people that you know,
- 26:11have never raised their hands and said, I've never shared anything like this before,
- 26:15but this is what happened. And I think that's one of the coolest
- 26:18things that I can offer people through my presentations, is that output to be
- 26:22able to share their experience. Yeah. You know, what I find is
- 26:26that people just want to tell their story and they want to know that they're
- 26:30not crazy. Okay, absolutely, yeah, yeah, And it's great to
- 26:37do these kind of like pseudo town hall meetings, if you will, at
- 26:41these library presentations, because they they you know, more times than not,
- 26:47one person will share their story and then all of a sudden, three other
- 26:51people will be like, oh, well, actually I saw a bigfoot in
- 26:53the same area, and it's like, oh crap, you know, it's
- 26:56it's perfect, you know, it's it's great, It's really cool. Yeah.
- 27:00Now, okay, here's a question. Do you ever have people that
- 27:03tell you that they've experienced other things that they're not sure if it was a
- 27:07bigfoot, and it could be something different. I mean we get reports of
- 27:11things like dog men and wear wolves here in Georgia sometimes. Have you ever
- 27:15gotten any kind of reports like that from people as you're looking for Bigfoot?
- 27:18Yeah, I've gotten I've gotten some reports of it. I've gotten a lot
- 27:23of UFO things. A lot of people and especially in the libraries, come
- 27:27up and they they they say they have some UFO connections or interdimensional connections.
- 27:32I think Bigfoot's more of a biological creature, but yeah, I don't know.
- 27:37So so here's here's here's kind of my thing is. Like I spent
- 27:42one hundred and twenty seven nights tent camping last year out in the woods.
- 27:48I have yet to come across anything else besides what I believe to be like
- 27:52a Bigfoot type creature. Not saying that it's not out there, but I
- 27:59have yet to come up crossed it. We'll say it like that. Yeah,
- 28:02Oh my gosh, that's that's interesting, you know. Yeah, big
- 28:07It's very elusive, like all these cryptos are super elusive, and and a
- 28:11lot of times things get misidentified as well too. So people will be like
- 28:15when we went to that national to the state park where the state park ranger
- 28:18asked me to come out and investigate. You know, we have to make
- 28:22sure they're not just seeing bears in the area and stuff. And once one
- 28:26person said thinks they see a big foot, everybody thinks they see a bigfoot
- 28:30sometimes, So you know, it's just that kind of a deal, you
- 28:33know. Absolutely. We have a question actually out of the chat. Yes,
- 28:40okay, Andrew. Andrew's got a question. Have you encountered different types
- 28:44of bigfoots in a same national park? Have there have you ever gotten reports
- 28:49of like different looking big foots, because I know they're different types of bigfoots
- 28:53right according to the region. Though usually Yeah, what I can't I can't
- 28:59say for specific national parks, I can speak for We'll say the state of
- 29:03New Jersey, New Jersey, I believe. And this is gonna sound a
- 29:08little crazy, and your listeners may think I'm going out on the crazy level
- 29:14here, but I'm not. I promise you you're a good company. So
- 29:21I think there's like like nine to twelve bigfoot that reside in the state of
- 29:26New Jersey, and one of the I think there's two family groups that live
- 29:32in the state. And I say that because we'll take my county, Sussex
- 29:36County, for example, there's a reports of dark hair individual bigfoots that come,
- 29:44say in June or whenever they come, and then about a month later,
- 29:48you have the red hair bigfoots that we get reports and citing reports of
- 29:52in the same area about a month later, that follows the black hair So
- 29:56I think that that would be show two different individual family groups of bigfoot that
- 30:00live in the state. So, like I say, I can't say specific
- 30:03national parks, but I can say that they are probably multiple family groups that
- 30:07live in the same area, which just makes sense. Yeah, about how
- 30:11tall are your big foots in New Jersey? I mean because down here in
- 30:14the South we get anything, they're usually around like seven to eight feet tall,
- 30:18sometimes a lot taller. But and in Florida they're a little bit smaller
- 30:22too, they're like six to seven feet. Yeah, we get that.
- 30:25We get the same about about eight foot normal. Here we have a six
- 30:29foot female bigfoot that would get sighted all the time, you know, just
- 30:33outside of human range for a female, but eight foot tall male bigfoots that
- 30:38we have, and we also have some juvenile bigfoots that are growing up in
- 30:44the state that we get reports of as well, which is really cool.
- 30:45We find juvenile footprints in the pine barrens when we go down there, which
- 30:49is really cool. So that kind of shows I know, I'm not crazy,
- 30:53Thank you so much. That kind of shows a a don I appreciate
- 30:59that you have. No. No, that shows more of a kind of
- 31:03healthier population of bigfoot that resigne in the state, which is pretty cool.
- 31:07Yeah. No, that's super cool. Okay. The other question that he
- 31:12was asking was how do you protect yourself out there? Now? I did
- 31:15see a video on your channel. Oh, here we go. You might
- 31:19have released some bear spray in the car the other day or a while back.
- 31:22I don't know how long ago that was. That was a little bit
- 31:25ago. Yeah, still that was like I think that was like three years
- 31:29ago, and I still am hurting from it. It's still burn it still
- 31:33burns. Yeah, yeah, no, it's still burns when I pee.
- 31:37No. No, the the bear mason is that. That's exactly why I
- 31:42don't carry any any weapons or anything. Why I go you want to tell
- 31:48you the story of the bear mace please? I love it. Yeah,
- 31:51because a lot of people that go bigfooting carry bear mace, they carry bear
- 31:56spray. Especially my friends up in Alaska, Okay, they're always they're all
- 32:00carrying bear spray up there. So yeah, well it works, I'll tell
- 32:06you that, that's for sure. It definitely is very powerful. I was
- 32:12we were in the Delaware Water Gap area of New Jersey and I was in
- 32:15the back of a jeep I had. It was the driver, a passenger,
- 32:20and me in the back seat, and we were going to this investigation
- 32:22area, ironically enough, where we almost stepped on a bear. We were
- 32:27coming back from that, and uh, it's so old mine road in the
- 32:34Delaware Water Gap area, which is it's a really cool road. It's very
- 32:37squatchy. It's actually the oldest continuously used road in the United States, which
- 32:42is super awesome. So we were on it and it feels like it has
- 32:45not been paved since then either. So we were on that road and it
- 32:50was bumpy, I mean, you know, and all of a sudden,
- 32:54I hear the fire extinguisher go off in the back of the jeep. You're
- 32:58in a jeep, right, and it starts and I'm like, Mike,
- 33:05why is your fire extinguisher going off in the car? And all of a
- 33:08sudden, by the time I said that I could, I started coughing.
- 33:14I couldn't catch my breath. I couldn't. I started this this pain in
- 33:19my eyes that I could I can't describe. Uh and uh so, so
- 33:25he also gets bear mace up front. We kind of like hot box the
- 33:30car a little bit with bear maids and uh so he kind of like he
- 33:36tries to stop the jeep and almost flips in the process. They the two
- 33:39front passengers dive out onto the dry under the on the ground and they're coughing
- 33:45and rolling around. They shut the doors. It was a two door jeep.
- 33:51They shut the doors. I'm in the back seat and I'm stuck now
- 33:53in the jeep, hot box in the jeep with this bear mace, and
- 33:59I'm like, oh, I gotta can't get out. I can't get it.
- 34:00I'm jumping over the back seats trying to get out. Finally I get
- 34:02out and there's the uh the the the video pops on of how we're all
- 34:09rolling around on the ground thrown up and and yeah, it took me three
- 34:15days to open both of my eyes. No, yeah, I swear to
- 34:19God, three days. Yeah, it was it was it was bad?
- 34:22Yeah, uh, a little funny fun think so yeah. So after that,
- 34:29uh, we uh like a week week or so, a month or
- 34:32so after that, we went back out big footing and I put on my
- 34:37backpack and I guess I sweated a little bit, and I guess the bear
- 34:42mace was still from like where it sprayed on my back, because it was
- 34:45on my hip the bear mace, So I guess it sprayed on the backpack
- 34:49too. The sweat on my back reactivated it and I got bear maced all
- 34:53over again. So that was fun. Do not use on humans? Yeah,
- 34:59yeah, I I gotta agree with Millie. Yeah, that's that's terrible.
- 35:02That's terrible. So it's important to kind of know, like how what
- 35:07measures to take in case that ever happens. I would assume you would include
- 35:10that with your big Foot one oh one course, now right with your Squatchules.
- 35:15Do you still do the Squatchables series. I haven't done a Squatchules episode
- 35:21in a while. What I try to do is try to include them into
- 35:23my normal episodes. Now. Uh, the Squatchules was really cool. It's
- 35:28a really cool mini series about how to find big Foot big Foot one on
- 35:31one but probably The number one tip I would give anybody that carries bear mace
- 35:37is it's not fail proof. I had the safety on and it was even
- 35:42zip tide, but the zip tie broke, so oh fat. Yeah.
- 35:47I mean I've actually been sprayed with mace before by accident. I had it
- 35:52on a key chain one time and the keychain broke, so or maybe I
- 35:55sprayed it. I don't know. I didn't mean, but yeah, it
- 36:00broke and I accidentally sprayed it at the same time and it sucked, but
- 36:04it wasn't bear spray. Bear spray is so much worse, you know.
- 36:07Yeah, but this is so great that you actually go out in the community
- 36:12and you teach people, you put it out online, you give him like
- 36:15the it's like the cliffs not it's almost of like, Okay, this is
- 36:19what you need to bring. I mean, I haven't taken your course or
- 36:21seen you know, seen the squatchables yet. However, you know, I
- 36:24have a young I have a kid, he's nine. He's just getting into
- 36:28big footing. I just started taking him out in the woods with me,
- 36:30and this would be perfect for him and his friends. Because I remember when
- 36:34I first started big footing, I was like, you, like I went
- 36:37and I bought all the gear. Okay, when I was so nervous I
- 36:39was going out with a team, I went over to my best friend's house
- 36:44and had her husband helped me set up my tent in the backyard so I
- 36:46didn't look like a fool when I got out into the woods by myself with
- 36:51that team. And so I did a gearsheck and I made sure I knew
- 36:53how to use everything and that I had all the right gear. And a
- 36:58lot of people don't. They don't don't know what to take out there,
- 37:00and they don't know what to do, and you need the right equipment,
- 37:02right, Yeah, I think what it what it boils down to, is
- 37:07if you want to if you're just trying to get into big footing, my
- 37:12my suggestion would be to network with people to find out what you need.
- 37:16Uh. You don't have to spend a whole ton of money like I did
- 37:21to go out looking for bigfoot. You can totally network with people and do
- 37:24it for free. You know, there's no no cost of doing what you
- 37:28you know you're passionate about. You shouldn't have to you know, you shouldn't
- 37:30have to pay somebody to do something you're passionate about I don't think, but
- 37:37you can definitely do it. Squatchables is a good way, but even on
- 37:39Facebook. Facebook's a great social media is a great platform just to get to
- 37:44know some people. I wouldn't advise going out in the woods with a stranger,
- 37:46obviously, but it's a great way to get some knowledge about the areas
- 37:52and where you want to go to check out. So definitely, you know,
- 37:55it's it's it's a great thing to try to get out in the woods
- 38:00instead of not trying to get out of the woods. Yeah, Mike,
- 38:04where's your favorite place to go bigfooting? Because you've been all over there the
- 38:07South and the East Coast. Where where's your favorite place to bigfoot? Man,
- 38:12That's a that's a hard question. I gotta say, you know,
- 38:16I I don't know favorite place to go bigfooting. I like, I don't
- 38:23know. Whitehall, New York is probably if I wanted to find a bigfoot
- 38:27I would go to Whitehall, New York, just because every time I go
- 38:30there I have activity. But uh, if I wanted to like look for
- 38:37views or scenery or something like that, it would go to like the Smoky
- 38:39Mountains or the Adiron Deck Mountains in New York State. Uh but uh,
- 38:45I mean yeah, but if I wanted to get some some squatchy activity,
- 38:47Whitehall, New York, Bomosine, Vermont, half Moon Pond State Park in
- 38:52Vermont is definitely a good, great place to look for Bigfoot. Okay,
- 38:55Well, you know, I've been bigfooting all over the place, and especially
- 38:59a little with the south and the southeast. We have the biggest concentration of
- 39:02bigfoots in North Georgia of all places. Do you believe that? I mean,
- 39:08you've You've been in North Georgia right to squatchy as anything in North Chia
- 39:14you have people don't realize how like, like you got the mountains up there
- 39:17and stuff like. People don't realize that it's it's awesome. Okay, it's
- 39:24the Affalachian Mountains and that's the oldest mountain range in the entire world. And
- 39:30there's a lot of weird stuff going on in the mountains, okay, and
- 39:34including Bigfoot. Uh yeah, I mean what I gotta imagine that you've been
- 39:38told a lot of strange stories and stuff about Bigfoot. What is what is
- 39:44the scariest thing It's either happened to you or somebody else that you've talked to
- 39:49in all your travels out there when it comes to bigfoot. Oh man,
- 39:52that's a good So the scariest thing that's ever happened to me in the woods
- 39:54will tell you. That's a that's a that's a good story. I was
- 39:59this in February, so this time of year. It was abnormally nice.
- 40:06It was right before an expedition, and we were in Stoke State Forest in
- 40:08New Jersey and all it was cold but a clear night. So I remember
- 40:16I had this one person sleeping tent, so it's like like a backpacking tent,
- 40:22so you can't sit up in it, like you can't, like,
- 40:24the only thing you could do in this thing is literally lay down. So
- 40:29I'm laying down, just got bundled up in my two like mummy sleeping bags,
- 40:34and I am like set for the night. But the moonlight has come
- 40:37in. It's a beautiful night, right, and then all of a sudden
- 40:40it happens, right, so you see like over top of you the shadow,
- 40:45and you see the shadow come down, and then it starts coming down
- 40:49right above my head. What is it, spider, Oh, that's the
- 40:54scariest, scarious thing that's ever happened to me. There's there's audio of me
- 41:00somewhere that screams like a little girl. I don't know where that is,
- 41:04but somebody has it somewhere. It's probably worth a lot of money. But
- 41:07that that was the most scared I've ever been in the woods before. Yes,
- 41:10Oh my god, okay, man, I see, I grew up
- 41:14in the country. I'm a country girl, and i grew up with spiders
- 41:17all over the place. I've never been scared of spiders ever. Well,
- 41:22you and you and I have different people. Well there we go. Oh
- 41:25my gosh, that is so funny. But so many people are scared of
- 41:28spiders, and it's understandable. I did see a clip where whoever you were
- 41:31with did have a spider on her. So I did see that today.
- 41:36So I saw that on one of your sworts. I've been But okay,
- 41:40so you said that in the Shadow and that reminded me of your your show
- 41:45in the Shadow of Big Red Eye. Now tell me the history behind what
- 41:49is Big Red Eye. Yeah, so in nineteen seventy we're going to go
- 41:52back to nineteen seventy two, So right after the Patterson Gimlin film that that
- 41:57kind of era. We we are in Sussetts County, New Jersey, and
- 42:02we had a state park ranger that was doing his uh his patrols at night,
- 42:09and during one of his patrols, he he saw a two reflecting red
- 42:16pairs of eyes staring back at him. So he went on put on his
- 42:22record and he said, during his patrol he found this and he uh,
- 42:28he put the he put that in his report, and somehow the news newspaper
- 42:32got a hold of that, and thus the name big Red Eye was born.
- 42:36So it's been seen eight foot tall, Big Red Eyes been seen all
- 42:39over the country since then. So it's little our little claim to fame in
- 42:44Sussetts County, New Jersey. I love that we have an old green eyes
- 42:49down here in Georgia. Oh that's so cool. Yeah, up in Chickamauga
- 42:52at the Yeah. Sorry, I've been talking a lot tonight. Okay,
- 42:58so yes, I've been talking. I was actually on a show before this
- 43:01one too. Shout out to mid last Night watcher, y'all. What's up,
- 43:05GARYL and Jane. Okay, So we have an old green eyes,
- 43:08but we see a lot of eyes, red eyes, white eyes, you
- 43:13know, all these different colors of eyes in the woods and they have they're
- 43:16associated with bigfoots. Sound there, y'all. So they have these like self
- 43:20illuminating eyes. Some people say that the red eyes. Okay, so this
- 43:24is what you hear all these different theories, right, is like the different
- 43:29eyes mean different things, like the red eyes mean it's something you know,
- 43:34bad, like it's something evil out there. I don't think so. I
- 43:37just think that it's potentially the tin of their eyes or something. I don't
- 43:40know, what do you think? Yeah, I think you know. I
- 43:43actually recently heard a theory which I don't know if I agree with, but
- 43:46it's interesting enough to bring up. Is that red eyes are juvenile bigfoots and
- 43:54the eyes change over time. Their eyes eyes change over. I don't think
- 43:59that happens. I don't think that can happen biologically. But I think bigfoots
- 44:04are kind of like humans where they have just different color eyes, right,
- 44:07we have different color eyes. Of course, bigfoot can have the same potential
- 44:12to have that as well. I think I don't know if they can illuminate
- 44:15themselves. You said self illumination. I don't know if they could do that.
- 44:19I think it's pretty cool. I've talked to some of my best friends
- 44:22in the bigfoot community have seen like eyes that self illuminate. I've never seen
- 44:27it, so I can't say anything. But I mean, I can't say
- 44:30anything that they haven't seen that either. So I think that's really wild,
- 44:32you know, that has that potential to have that self illuminating. It's odd.
- 44:37I've seen it, Okay, I've seen it. Yeah, it doesn't.
- 44:42It doesn't make sense. But we think in like human terms and like
- 44:45what we know from the animals that we already know that have been documented.
- 44:49We're talking about cryptids, you know, and bigfoot, so it's it's different.
- 44:52I don't know. Glynn has an interesting point in the chat the eye
- 44:55colors related to orb colors. Okay, so that's something I guess I can
- 45:00ask you about orbs and stuff, because you know, there's there's a lot
- 45:05of different elements to the big footing phenomenon, and a lot of times people
- 45:09are associating and I and I myself included, we almost always have orbs in
- 45:15the environment, and we don't know what orbs are. There's all sorts of
- 45:17different types of orbs orbs in the environment when there's a bigfoot experience, okay,
- 45:23and sometimes these orbs are like different colors and stuff, and I would
- 45:27not associate the same the colors of the orbs with the eyes of the bigfoots.
- 45:30I've never done that. I've never made that connection or anything. But
- 45:35there aren't orbs in the environment sometimes. Have you ever encountered orbs Once I
- 45:39was in Pennsylvania. I think it was in Forbes State Forest, and which
- 45:45is creepy, a creepy area in itself. I think that's actually I think
- 45:49Forbes State Forest we were camping in one time and we actually found bloody doll
- 45:55on the side of the road. Creepiest thing ever came across in while I'm
- 46:00bigfooting, so that would not be cool. But we were in the doing
- 46:05our big footing thing. We're at camp and we saw just a blue a
- 46:09blue orb, and I don't know. We weren't by a swamp, so
- 46:15I can't say it's swamp gas, which everybody says it is, but it
- 46:20was just strange. I can tell you what it is, you know.
- 46:22But but we didn't have any big food activity, so I can't associate the
- 46:25two together. Man our friend at the show, Raymond Samanski, he wrote
- 46:30a book called Swamp Gas My ass. Oh my gosh, but it was
- 46:37in relation to UFOs and stuff, Okay, and yeah, so anyways,
- 46:42that's that's funny. I know. So some people say it is swamp gas,
- 46:45you know, and a lot of these phenomenon can probably be explained by
- 46:49natural phenomenon. You know. Some of the stuff that we think is like
- 46:52supernatural, it has a scientific solution or you know, it can be explained,
- 47:00Okay, a lot of it. I think it's what's paramount for anybody
- 47:06that's looking to go into big footing is or get into the bigfoot world or
- 47:12whatever is. Familiarize yourself with the animals that are out there. Familiarize yourself
- 47:17with the phenomena that are out there, with the creatures, what the wood
- 47:21sounds like, because a lot of things, especially at night, sound crazy,
- 47:27but they're not. They're just explainable things away, Like a squirrel at
- 47:30night sounds like a freight train running at you, you know what I mean.
- 47:35So so just you know, I would say, familiarize yourself with like
- 47:39a peacock down in south of Florida, sa per Se. Peacock sound crazy.
- 47:45So if you don't know what a peacock sounds like, that could be
- 47:46like a squatch thing. I don't know, but definitely familiarize yourself with what
- 47:51kind of stuff is an is an area that you're going out into. I
- 47:54totally agree, Okay, Like I've okay, so I've heard owls when I
- 48:00was walking my dog. I lived in Decatur, Georgia, Okay, in
- 48:05the in the in the city right outside of Atlanta. I walking my dog
- 48:07one night and we I lived in this place. I had these huge oak
- 48:10trees and I'm walking my dog and I'm hearing monkeys in the trees and I'm
- 48:15talking about monkeys and I must have really because they were They started making noises.
- 48:20So I made the noise back. I like to imitate animals, you
- 48:22know, just for fun. I thought it sounded like a monkey, okay,
- 48:28and so I made that noise back. Well, it started getting violent,
- 48:30okay, and it started following me and my dog, and I thought
- 48:35that I was going to be attacked by monkey or something in the trees.
- 48:37I ran home. It turns out that was an owl, okay, because
- 48:42I we had. Owls are there, but when they get they get mad,
- 48:45they start sounding like monkeys, like rab rabid monkeys. The way I
- 48:49will describe it so things that you wouldn't expect come out of animals body like
- 48:55they make weird noises, just like bobcats, screaming women, podcast foxes,
- 49:02foxes sound crazy. Yep, owls sound crazy. I like I heard one
- 49:09time you heard the owls going the bar owls going right right, and then
- 49:16then you hear sometimes like the bigfoots will imitate the bar owls. So it
- 49:23was funny because you hear whoaa, whoa whah, so they get coughed in
- 49:29between the bard alcohol. It's kind of funny, like, oh, bigfoot,
- 49:34silly creature. Oh no, I've been in situations where they sounded like
- 49:38they're trying to sound like cows and we're talking about big foots. Okay,
- 49:42they're making noises. We're in on top of a mountain. There should be
- 49:45no cows in the environment, on top of a mountain in the dent woods,
- 49:50and we're hearing a cow mowing or making some kind of weird noise and
- 49:53then it moves and then it goes into a it's like dying of laughter.
- 49:59It's something that's like, you know, it's crazy, it is, so
- 50:04it's such a creepy feeling, but it's really funny. Too at the same
- 50:06time, because it's like it's trying to trick us, but it started laughing.
- 50:10Yeah, I heard we were up in a Balsom Mountain wild forest in
- 50:19the Catskill Mountains in New York State and swear, uh, swear as serious
- 50:25as a heart attack. Heard of cow middle of the woods. No cows
- 50:30are up there. Definitely, definitely nothing up there. But just like you,
- 50:34middle of the woods. And I'm like, what in the world is
- 50:37that? And you know that's crazy. Yeah, that's why it is so
- 50:40important to know your environment, to know all the animals and the sounds that
- 50:45they make. And there's actually an app okay, because we have a wildlife
- 50:50biologist on my team and I have we have some we have such a dynamic
- 50:53team. I'm on three different field research teams, and everybody has such a
- 50:58a verse background from even we have medics, okay, amts like yourself,
- 51:04from you know, military personnel, firefighters, nurses, nuclear scientists, wildlife
- 51:09biologists like I said, and Keith is our wildlife biologist, and and he
- 51:15sent me one day an app and I forgot the name of the app,
- 51:19but it's like you you record a bird noise. Let's just say you hear
- 51:22a bird, a bird sound, you can record it if you're a bird,
- 51:27or any kind of noise that sounds like a bird, and it locates
- 51:31whatever bird that is, it identifies it for you. So it's just all
- 51:34in an app. And if I can figure out what that app is,
- 51:36I'll let y'all know, okay, because it's important for us to have that
- 51:39as researchers, you know, just just to know what alse what we're hearing,
- 51:44because not everything's a bigfoot, y'all. Okay. And now with the
- 51:47advancement with this technology that's coming out where we can identify bird sounds just from
- 51:53recording them on our phone, we're going to be able to identify a whole
- 51:58bunch more other sounds. Then when you're able to not identify the sounds,
- 52:02that's when it gets interesting. And that's the kind of stuff that I look
- 52:05out for. Yeah, oh for sure, Donna's got a cool comment.
- 52:10Yeah, they'll laugh at you. That's when you know you've been recruited into
- 52:14their gang. Well out in the out in the build. Yeah. Have
- 52:20you ever researching area so much that you feel like you kind of know the
- 52:23bigfoot sound there? Not say not per se know them. Uh. The
- 52:30closest I've got into like a habituation type thing is my in a research area
- 52:36and Sparda, New Jersey. I had this area that is just crazy.
- 52:40It's sparted the Mountain my life management area. And there's something there for sure.
- 52:45Oh Merdlin, app Yep, that's it, thank you ch I was
- 52:51trying to remember that too. I can remember it for sure. But I
- 52:54would leave like little gift things like little puppets and little cat toy and stuff
- 53:00like that there and they would be gone and then returned in a couple of
- 53:02weeks and stuff like that. Very unusual stuff. But that's the closest I've
- 53:07gotten to actually like getting to know a bigfoot per se. Yeah. Yeah,
- 53:13Well see, we go and research kind of the same areas over and
- 53:15over again. For the most part. We've been going there for a long
- 53:19time, and we feel like we some of those places, we might have
- 53:22like kind of a working relationship with some of them. So that's why I
- 53:24was asking, Uh, we're like family. We're not a gang. Though
- 53:28we haven't I have it. They have not initiated me to their gang.
- 53:32I might have been initiated. I actually had something behind me one night and
- 53:37knocked my legs out from behind me and there was nothing there. Yeah,
- 53:40so it's interesting. We do have another question for you, though, Uh
- 53:45this is from Donna. Have you had any of these bigfoots or anything follow
- 53:49you home before? Hey, Donna, No, I don't think I have.
- 53:53I'm trying to think I did one time. Probably the closest experience that
- 54:00I had to that was I did get zapped one time, I think by
- 54:02a bigfoot. That's on my YouTube channel. I actually recorded the whole thing.
- 54:07I think it's the only time that anybody's ever recorded themselves getting zapped,
- 54:10which is kind of interesting. Uh, but uh, yeah, I think
- 54:14that's the closest thing that that that I've ever gotten to get followed home.
- 54:16That was in a kind of Worse County, New Jersey, right right behind
- 54:22my house there. Yeah, this is something that I haven't talked about.
- 54:25I don't think I've ever told you guys this people that are watching. I
- 54:30got zapped for the first time when it was about a month or two ago,
- 54:35I guess a couple of months ago. We were out in the field
- 54:37down down around the troop head quarteror a place that my team goes and researches.
- 54:42And my my son was with me that night actually, and we was
- 54:45a couple of guys on my team, and my son saw his first big
- 54:49foot that night. We all saw with my son saw his first big foot.
- 54:52And as we were walking away, I got zapped. Wow, zapped.
- 54:57So I didn't I'd always heard about but you don't really understand what it
- 55:01is until you get zapped, Okay, and uh, and it was quite
- 55:05the experience. But yeah, I don't know this is This has been a
- 55:09fun conversation tonight, Mike. And we are almost at the end of the
- 55:13hour. Oh my goodness. I just looked down the clock. Holy crap.
- 55:15It is so wild, right, but I don't think we have after
- 55:19hours on afterwards, so it's okay, we don't have to like cut it
- 55:22right at you know the time. But because it's the super Bowl night,
- 55:25right, most people a lot of people have been watching the super Bowl.
- 55:29But hey, we've got a good crowd in here. Man, this has
- 55:31been an amazing chat. Uh, tell tell the audience tonight, what what
- 55:37kind of advice do you have, Like, what are what is like your
- 55:39main advice for people that want to get into big footing. What would you
- 55:43tell them, oh man, uh don't uh, don't go into the woods
- 55:49with strangers. That's my number one thing I always like to tell people because
- 55:52that's inherently what bigfooters like to do, is they like to uh uh go
- 55:57go into uh, you know, in the woodstres. Don't do that.
- 56:00That's definitely vet your people before that. But really, the best thing that
- 56:06I could offer advice wise is just enjoy it and have it. Just don't
- 56:10don't expect anything. Don't expect there to be activity. I think that's probably
- 56:15one of the one of the things you could that set yourself up for disaster
- 56:19really is to expect to have activity. I think, you know, as
- 56:22a bigfoot researcher yourself, you know, we don't have activity every time,
- 56:25So I think that's important to note. But the other thing is just to
- 56:30be safe and be smart about it. You know, don't do anything stupid,
- 56:35don't do anything against the law. And oco trespassing on private property.
- 56:37That's a big thing. Check your local laws where you go to see make
- 56:42sure. I know, in like some state parks, it's illegal to be
- 56:45out after dark if you're not in your campsite. So just check, make
- 56:50sure and don't go alone. Yes, and make sure you don't go alone
- 56:52as well, So all good tips of the trade. Yeah. No,
- 56:57we never go anywhere alone. And we always even when we're out with our
- 57:01team, we carry our two way radios. Everybody is certified in ham radios
- 57:07and we've all got our bio funks, and we go out and we have
- 57:10somebody that sits back at base camp. This is when we're out as a
- 57:14team. We always let somebody know where we're going. We go in groups
- 57:17of at least two people everywhere we go. And yeah, it's safety first,
- 57:23that's number one. Safety first ally, so you can't find big Foot
- 57:27if you're not safe yourself, right, that's right, because you might not
- 57:30make it back. Listen, there's those missing persons clusters all over these national
- 57:34parks. So we got to yeah. Yeah, oh my gosh. Well
- 57:38where are you going next, Mike? Tell me about your adventures. Where
- 57:43are you headed out next? Yeah, week and a half, I'm going
- 57:46to be in Florida. We're going to be outside of Jacksonville, Florida,
- 57:50doing a library presentation in Orange Park, and then we're heading over to the
- 57:54uh the Panandle of Florida. I'll be down by you. I'm actually going
- 57:59to be in southern Georgia. Upsh, not up by you, but down
- 58:00in southern Georgia. But we're doing that, doing that tour and then golly
- 58:07gee, we're going to be nineteen states this year so far. So I
- 58:12mean, you tell me where and I'll probably be there. If you're looking
- 58:15into if you want to come to one of my presentations and you think I
- 58:20might be in an area by you, I probably will be. Just go
- 58:22to my website Shadow of Redeye dot com and you can see where I'm going
- 58:30to be in My upcoming appearances are all up down there. Oh my gosh,
- 58:34you know what. I actually have this. I have your schedule at
- 58:37year. Is it okay if we show it? I have this Yeah,
- 58:39okay, I got this off your Facebook page. Yeah, okay, So
- 58:44this is It's hard for me to see it because it's so little on my
- 58:46screen, but this is kind of I mean, that's that's a lot,
- 58:50no matter what, that's a lot of places you're going. I'm so jealous.
- 58:52I'm so jealous man sixty eight and counting today. Yeah, and this
- 58:57is your map. This is like some of the places you've been right this
- 59:00is where I'm going to go this year. Yeah. Oh my gods in
- 59:04Indiana. That's going to be a fun fun one. Oh wow, yeah,
- 59:08man, that is so cool. Well, maybe I can maybe we
- 59:12can link up sometime when you're down here in the South, Okay, because
- 59:15I researched all over the South, including Florida, including South Georgia, including
- 59:21Alabama including Tennessee, southlin Norkoline, and Virginia everywhere. Okay, so exactly
- 59:25where I go. That's perfect. Oh okay, Well we're actually gonna we're
- 59:30gonna link up sometime okay. And uh and we're going to do some big
- 59:32funning okay. So that great to me. Oh my gosh my. Oh
