Latest / V / With No Agenda, Kamala Runs Her Campaign On “Vibes” Alone (Ep.28)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongina Report Early Edition. I
- 0:03Speaker 1: am your host, Evita. We have a lot to get
- 0:05Speaker 1: to today. Kamala Harris officially accepted her nomination on behalf
- 0:10Speaker 1: of no one because nobody voted for her. A new
- 0:14Speaker 1: Kamala Harris commercial spells bad news for the right. Adam
- 0:18Speaker 1: Kinzinger made an absolute fool out of himself at the
- 0:21Speaker 1: DNC last night. Rand Paul is investigating the TSA's targeting
- 0:25Speaker 1: of political dissidents, i.e. me and you. Why Democrats' fundraising
- 0:30Speaker 1: machine may be engaging in fraud. A Department of Energy
- 0:34Speaker 1: official previously calling for the queering of nuclear weapons. Elizabeth
- 0:41Speaker 1: Warren wants to create a race-baiting congressional commission subject to
- 0:45Speaker 1: virtually no oversight. And lastly, why young people are embracing
- 0:49Speaker 1: an ethos of chaos. All this on Bongina Report, early edition.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We were being told all night that there's going to
- 1:08Speaker 1: be this special guest at the DNC. It's going to
- 1:11Speaker 1: be so amazing. And I texted Dan. I was like,
- 1:13Speaker 1: I think it's really going to happen. I think they're
- 1:15Speaker 1: going to bring Taylor Swift in. And then they were like,
- 1:18Speaker 1: Oh no, it's not Taylor Swift. Actually Beyonce is coming.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And I was like, Oh, even, even bigger, right? Beyonce
- 1:23Speaker 1: is coming then. And this is the craziest theory. We
- 1:26Speaker 1: were hearing that the Dixie chicks were going to perform
- 1:29Speaker 1: and they did perform, but they were going to perform.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And then afterward, George Bush was going to come out
- 1:33Speaker 1: on stage and And the Dixie Chicks and Bush were
- 1:36Speaker 1: going to reconcile their decade feud and unite behind Kamala Harris.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And that was a pretty funny rumor. And I was
- 1:45Speaker 1: telling Michael that.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I hope that that happens. You know, I have to
- 1:51Speaker 1: sit here and listen to the whole DNC, watch it
- 1:53Speaker 1: because I have to put together a show for all
- 1:55Speaker 1: of you. And at least that would bring some drama
- 1:58Speaker 1: to it all. But Michael was like, there's no way
- 2:00Speaker 1: that that's happening. And that didn't happen. And we didn't
- 2:02Speaker 1: even get a Taylor Swift or a Beyonce. We got nothing.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It was actually pretty boring. And I guess the thing
- 2:11Speaker 1: is that the DNC, they say we're creating this hype
- 2:15Speaker 1: around a potential celebrity star guest coming in because the
- 2:20Speaker 1: DNC wanted to boost their numbers. That was the, that
- 2:23Speaker 1: was the, the idea here. And you know, guys, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: don't think it looks good to be lying to your
- 2:31Speaker 1: base about who's coming. Another theory was that it was
- 2:34Speaker 1: because RFK Jr. is potentially going to be endorsing Trump,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and so they wanted to counteract that again. But I
- 2:40Speaker 1: just don't understand how that would be helpful to them because, again,
- 2:43Speaker 1: it was a lie. So we didn't get Taylor Swift.
- 2:46Speaker 1: We didn't get Beyonce. We did get this, though.
- 2:50Speaker 3: My entire career, I've only had one client, the people.
- 3:00Speaker 3: And so, on behalf of the people, on behalf of
- 3:07Speaker 3: every American, regardless of party, race, gender, or the language
- 3:15Speaker 3: your grandmother speaks, on behalf of my mother and everyone
- 3:22Speaker 3: who has ever set out on their own unlikely journey,
- 3:28Speaker 3: on behalf of.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Americans like the people I grew up with.
- 3:33Speaker 3: People who work hard, chase their dreams, and look out
- 3:38Speaker 3: for one another.
- 3:39Speaker 1: On behalf of everyone whose story could only be written
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's on behalf of nobody. Nobody has ever cast a
- 3:53Speaker 1: vote for Kamala. But now she has, of course, she
- 3:55Speaker 1: has a delegate. It's just it's ridiculous. They took the
- 3:59Speaker 1: vote away from the Democrats who actually would should have
- 4:03Speaker 1: the right to pick who their nominee is. So it's
- 4:05Speaker 1: on behalf of nobody. And. The funny thing about this
- 4:10Speaker 1: whole celebrity guest that they were going to bring in,
- 4:12Speaker 1: now they're saying, oh, Kamala was the big celebrity guest.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Kamala was the one that we wanted all the attention
- 4:18Speaker 1: to go toward. And the journalists thought this was so amazing.
- 4:23Speaker 1: This is from election columnist for The Cut, Laura Bassett.
- 4:27Speaker 1: She tweeted, teasing a huge surprise guest and leaking that
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's both Beyonce and Taylor Swift just to get people
- 4:33Speaker 1: to tune in is actually kind of funny. And others
- 4:35Speaker 1: are saying, oh, it's actually kind of genius. No dignity there.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The DNC lied to the journalists and they're applauding the
- 4:43Speaker 1: DNC for lying to them. Now, there were some celebrities
- 4:49Speaker 1: at the DNC, even if there wasn't a big name
- 4:51Speaker 1: like Taylor Swift or Beyonce. They had Stevie Wonder, Pink,
- 4:56Speaker 1: Lil Jon, Maren Morris, John Legend, the Chicks. And make
- 5:00Speaker 1: no mistake that the Democrats are going to use their
- 5:03Speaker 1: celebrity power in the coming months. I wouldn't be surprised
- 5:06Speaker 1: if Taylor Swift does come out in full swing support
- 5:09Speaker 1: for Kamala. And they need to rely on celebrity power
- 5:13Speaker 1: because this campaign is running on nothing but vibes. Her
- 5:18Speaker 1: speech did not mention, Kamala's speech, any issues that really
- 5:23Speaker 1: matter to Americans. There was no real agenda put forward
- 5:27Speaker 1: by Kamala, no discussion about the economy. If you ask people,
- 5:30Speaker 1: what's your number one issue? It's the economy. So people
- 5:32Speaker 1: can't afford their groceries, put gas in their car. And
- 5:35Speaker 1: of course, she can't talk about the economy because she's
- 5:38Speaker 1: responsible for it being in shambles. She is vice president
- 5:40Speaker 1: right now. Frankly, she's probably president right now. We all
- 5:43Speaker 1: know that Biden isn't doing anything. The man is completely senile.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But unfortunately, guys, there's a lot of people out there
- 5:51Speaker 1: who don't think very clearly and voting on vibes is
- 5:55Speaker 1: going to be really effective. And on that note, I
- 5:59Speaker 1: want you guys to watch part of this Kamala campaign commercial,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and then we're going to talk about it. Let's just
- 6:03Speaker 1: play that.
- 6:06Speaker 4: What kind of America do we want?
- 6:09Speaker 1: One where we're divided, angry, depressed. Come on. We're Americans. Fascism,
- 6:16Speaker 1: we conquered it. The moon landed on it. The future?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Building it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Freedom?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Nobody loves it more. And we fight for it.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Freedom, freedom, I can't move.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Freedom, cut me loose.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Freedom, freedom, where are you?
- 6:55Speaker 4: Cause I need freedom too.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Freedom from control.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Freedom from extremism and fear.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Extremists want to take us back, but we are not
- 7:09Speaker 3: going back.
- 7:16Speaker 1: We go forward. That's American.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And we need a leader who is for the people.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Ours is a fight for the future.
- 7:29Speaker 1: So she repeats throughout this ad, and I only got,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I only played a little bit of it for you guys.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's a long ad. She repeats the words, the word
- 7:36Speaker 1: fight over and over again. We're going to fight. And
- 7:39Speaker 1: then in the background, you'll see signs that say, we fight,
- 7:42Speaker 1: we win. She's trying to take that word back from
- 7:45Speaker 1: Trump because when he put his fist in the air
- 7:47Speaker 1: after getting shot in the head, he kept saying, fight, fight, right? That,
- 7:52Speaker 1: that was the, that was a Trump word. And Americans,
- 7:55Speaker 1: they love antiheroes. Again, we are pioneers, we're cowboys, we're pilgrims.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Our ancestors and our identity is that of risk takers
- 8:05Speaker 1: and fighters. So Kamala is actually very wise to try
- 8:09Speaker 1: and take that phrase back from Trump. But I actually
- 8:13Speaker 1: thought that the ad was overall very well done if
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're listening, right? I mean, obviously she had the Freedom
- 8:19Speaker 1: Song by Beyonce, which is a very well-liked, good. I mean,
- 8:23Speaker 1: it's a good song. It's objectively a good song. And
- 8:26Speaker 1: you have all this imagery of ranchers and Indian Americans
- 8:29Speaker 1: and civil rights and boxing and running. And there's just
- 8:32Speaker 1: all this energy. And it felt like American greatness. It
- 8:36Speaker 1: felt like American exceptionalism. And then there were some outliers
- 8:40Speaker 1: where we had some anti-life protesters in there. We had
- 8:42Speaker 1: some gross pink hat ladies thrown in there. But overall,
- 8:46Speaker 1: a very unifying message. And you guys who are listening,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you have context, right? You see through it all. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: you know that this is all just a diversion. It's
- 8:58Speaker 1: really good marketing. It's a mirage. But I'm going to
- 9:01Speaker 1: be honest with you guys. There's a lot of people
- 9:03Speaker 1: out there who vote simply off of vibes. And this
- 9:08Speaker 1: is why discussing policy and real world consequences of another
- 9:14Speaker 1: Biden admin 2.0 is so essential. Because what I'm going
- 9:18Speaker 1: to tell you guys is good messaging with the celebrity effect,
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's going to work with a lot of people. Everyone
- 9:26Speaker 1: wants to be on the winning team. Now we have
- 9:30Speaker 1: to cover Adam Kinzinger, who also spoke at the DNC
- 9:33Speaker 1: last night to smear J6ers, disavow Republicans, and complain that
- 9:38Speaker 1: we aren't talking more about giving money to Ukraine, which is,
- 9:42Speaker 1: of course, a money laundering operation at the expense of
- 9:47Speaker 1: innocent Ukrainian and Russian lives. And I swear to you guys,
- 9:52Speaker 1: this man cares so much more America about Ukraine than
- 9:56Speaker 1: he does America. Let's play that video.
- 10:00Speaker 4: How can a party claim to stand for liberty if
- 10:03Speaker 4: it sees a fight for freedom in Ukraine, an attack
- 10:07Speaker 4: pitting tyranny against democracy, a challenge to everything our nation
- 10:12Speaker 4: claims to be?
- 10:13Speaker 1: And it retreats. It equivocates.
- 10:17Speaker 4: It nominates a man who is weirdly obsessed with Putin.
- 10:23Speaker 4: And his running mate, his running mate who said, quote,
- 10:26Speaker 4: I don't care what happens in Ukraine.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and he wants to be vice president. He does
- 10:32Speaker 1: care more about what happens in America. I wish Adam did, too. Guys,
- 10:37Speaker 1: we have an open border ourselves. We have a border crisis.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So why are we going and advocating for sending more
- 10:43Speaker 1: money to Ukraine when our own border is not secure?
- 10:46Speaker 1: But Adam doesn't care about that. And if he really
- 10:49Speaker 1: did care about the Ukrainians, if it's all about the
- 10:51Speaker 1: lives of the Ukrainians, that's great. But if he really cared,
- 10:55Speaker 1: he would be advocating for peace negotiations ages ago instead
- 10:58Speaker 1: of continuing to allow the bloodshed. And also, what democracy
- 11:03Speaker 1: are we defending in Ukraine? Zelensky has suspended elections, so
- 11:06Speaker 1: he's effectively a dictator, and Christians are being persecuted by
- 11:09Speaker 1: his government. So I'm not really sure what we're defending
- 11:12Speaker 1: in Ukraine. Here's another clip of Adam claiming he stands
- 11:15Speaker 1: for protecting the vulnerable.
- 11:18Speaker 4: As a conservative and a veteran, I believe true strength
- 11:22Speaker 4: lies in defending the vulnerable. It's in protecting your family.
- 11:27Speaker 4: It's in standing up for our Constitution and our democracy.
- 11:32Speaker 1: The vulnerable, like the innocent babies who were being slaughtered
- 11:36Speaker 1: outside the DNC, like those vulnerable. The moral bankruptcy of
- 11:40Speaker 1: this man is astounding. And re-January 6th, Julie Kelly made
- 11:45Speaker 1: a really interesting point yesterday. She wrote on X, Adam Kinzinger,
- 11:48Speaker 1: a known Trump hater, true, brought a gun to the
- 11:51Speaker 1: Capitol on January 6th.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Why?
- 11:54Speaker 1: If he was shocked by the events of January 6th
- 11:57Speaker 1: and not in on it, why did he want to
- 11:59Speaker 1: protect himself? I'd like to know the answer to that too. Guys,
- 12:03Speaker 1: never sell your soul. It is not worth it. And
- 12:08Speaker 1: that is what this man has done. All right, switching
- 12:11Speaker 1: gears away from the DNC, Senator Rand Paul is attempting
- 12:14Speaker 1: to get to the bottom of the TSA surveilling and
- 12:17Speaker 1: blacklisting people based on their political beliefs. And I'm going
- 12:21Speaker 1: to tell you why the story actually has me really
- 12:24Speaker 1: angry at Republicans in Congress. But first, I got to
- 12:27Speaker 1: give you the details. The news is in response to
- 12:30Speaker 1: journalist Matt Taibbi's bombshell report, which we've covered on this
- 12:34Speaker 1: show before, documenting whistleblower testimony that former Hawaii Representative Tulsi
- 12:39Speaker 1: Gabbard has been added to a TSA terror threat list
- 12:44Speaker 1: as part of the TSA's Quiet Skies program. And on
- 12:48Speaker 1: her recent travels, Tulsi's boarding pass has been marked with
- 12:50Speaker 1: an SSSS designation, which means Secondary security screening selection, and
- 12:58Speaker 1: this has forced her to be subject to additional screenings
- 13:01Speaker 1: lasting up to 45 minutes before she's allowed to board
- 13:04Speaker 1: her flights. And Gabbard has also reportedly been followed by
- 13:07Speaker 1: a full U.S. air marshal team that included two explosive
- 13:12Speaker 1: detecting canine teams, one explosive specialist, one plainclothes TSA supervisor,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and three federal air marshals following her in the airport
- 13:21Speaker 1: on the flight. Ridiculous. And Gabbard, of course, is not
- 13:26Speaker 1: the only one who has been subjected to this kind
- 13:29Speaker 1: of political persecution. After January 6th, the TSA expanded the
- 13:34Speaker 1: Quiet Skies program to surveil anyone who was in DC
- 13:39Speaker 1: on that day, on January 6th, 2021. And in Rand
- 13:44Speaker 1: Paul's letter to the TSA requesting information, he mentions a
- 13:48Speaker 1: January 6th defendant who said in her sentencing hearing, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: this is a quote, I have also been red flagged
- 13:56Speaker 1: at the airport and have to go through extra security
- 13:59Speaker 1: while other passengers stare at me as if I'm a terrorist.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I have had other passengers come up to me, which
- 14:04Speaker 1: I have video of, and tell me that undercover police
- 14:07Speaker 1: or air marshals were watching me and following me. And
- 14:10Speaker 1: they even peeked inside the ladies room while I was
- 14:12Speaker 1: in there. This is extremely humiliating, totally unnecessary. So now
- 14:18Speaker 1: Rand Paul is demanding unredacted copies of all current guidelines, criteria,
- 14:24Speaker 1: standard operating procedures, and related documents governing the section of
- 14:28Speaker 1: the individuals for TSA-managed lists and programs, including the Sky
- 14:32Speaker 1: at Price program, Quiet Skies program, as well as all
- 14:35Speaker 1: documents and internal communications related to the process for determining
- 14:39Speaker 1: whether an individual is designated as a domestic terrorist. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you guys, Why did it
- 14:46Speaker 1: take an ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard getting thrown on this terror
- 14:50Speaker 1: watch list for someone in Congress to look into what's happened?
- 14:55Speaker 1: We've known the TSA was putting January Sixers on terror
- 14:58Speaker 1: watch lists or preventing them from flying at all for
- 15:02Speaker 1: a long time. And Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Greene,
- 15:08Speaker 1: they've mentioned it a few times that it's bad, that
- 15:10Speaker 1: it shouldn't be happening. But no one has launched an
- 15:13Speaker 1: investigation to this. There are countless January 6th defendants who
- 15:18Speaker 1: have had their lives destroyed by the state. Some have
- 15:21Speaker 1: even committed suicide. So I'm glad Rand Paul is finally
- 15:25Speaker 1: doing something about it. But virtually every Republican congressman in
- 15:30Speaker 1: this country has J6 constituents. And pretty much none of
- 15:34Speaker 1: the Republican members have stood up for them. And instead,
- 15:37Speaker 1: many members, like Adam Kinzinger, have actually cowardly disavowed and
- 15:40Speaker 1: abandoned them. I don't even think we should have a TSA.
- 15:45Speaker 1: They make flying miserable, and most importantly, they suck at
- 15:49Speaker 1: their job. A 2015 DHS report found that the TSA
- 15:53Speaker 1: agents fail to detect explosives and weapons 95% of the time.
- 16:00Speaker 1: So why the hell are we even going through their
- 16:03Speaker 1: humiliation rituals before boarding flights? That costs the taxpayers tons
- 16:09Speaker 1: of money and is just one more arm of the
- 16:11Speaker 1: government being used to target right wingers. Yes, but at
- 16:16Speaker 1: least you didn't bring your three ounce toothpaste because that's real.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That's the real threat to the TSA. Abolish the TSA
- 16:24Speaker 1: and shame on House Republicans. Shame. It should not have
- 16:28Speaker 1: taken Tulsi Gabbard being put on a terror watch list
- 16:32Speaker 1: for Republican members of Congress to do anything about this.
- 16:36Speaker 1: All right, you all know that Kamala has just been
- 16:39Speaker 1: drowning in cash since she announced her bid for president.
- 16:45Speaker 1: A day and a half after President Biden ended his
- 16:48Speaker 1: reelection bid, the previously unremarkable Kamala Harris reportedly pulled in
- 16:54Speaker 1: over $ 100 million in campaign donations, with more than $ 80
- 16:58Speaker 1: million raised in just the first 24 hours. And by
- 17:01Speaker 1: the end of July... just 11 days after Biden endorsed her,
- 17:05Speaker 1: Harris had amassed a staggering $ 310 million in a month,
- 17:10Speaker 1: far surpassing Biden's campaign funds before he ended his reelection bid.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And it turns out that this massive haul may have
- 17:20Speaker 1: been assisted by potentially fraudulent and illegal tactics used by
- 17:25Speaker 1: the Democratic Party's fundraising platform, ActBlue.
- 17:29Speaker 2: M.D.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Kittle in The Federalist has an excellent piece on this.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's titled Democrats Fundraising Machine Draws Accusations of Potentially Illegal Schemes.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Highly recommend it. Very thorough. Very well done piece. But
- 17:40Speaker 1: in this article, Kittle explains that several Republican lawmakers are
- 17:45Speaker 1: taking a closer look at allegations of something known as smurfing,
- 17:49Speaker 1: like the little blue creatures, right? Smurfs. Except in this context,
- 17:53Speaker 1: smurfing is not cute at all. Smurfing is a sneaky
- 17:56Speaker 1: way of dodging donation limits by splitting large amounts of
- 18:00Speaker 1: money into smaller, untraceable chunks. So we all know that
- 18:04Speaker 1: the law limits how much money one person or group
- 18:07Speaker 1: can donate to a political candidate. But with smurfing, Democrats
- 18:11Speaker 1: can split big donations into smaller chunks to hide where
- 18:15Speaker 1: the money is really coming from, allowing donors to give
- 18:18Speaker 1: money more than what's legally allowed. And this can also
- 18:23Speaker 1: involve using other people's names without their knowledge. In fact,
- 18:26Speaker 1: that's pretty much a staple of smurfing. And it's, of course,
- 18:29Speaker 1: another way of breaking campaign finance law. And according to Kittle,
- 18:32Speaker 1: there have been reports in Virginia and elsewhere in the
- 18:34Speaker 1: country of senior citizens who are listed as retired or
- 18:37Speaker 1: not employed and at suspicious addresses, contributing significant amounts to
- 18:42Speaker 1: Democrats and liberal causes. And it appears donations have been
- 18:46Speaker 1: made without the knowledge or consent of the residents. So
- 18:50Speaker 1: a shout out to Wisconsin Representative Brian Stile, who was
- 18:52Speaker 1: looking into this. He's a great guy, great representative, and
- 18:55Speaker 1: also shout out to the Attorney General in Virginia. But
- 18:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you guys. The reality here
- 19:00Speaker 1: is that there really is no one who's going to
- 19:03Speaker 1: be able to get to the bottom of this in
- 19:04Speaker 1: time for the election. And so the cheating and the
- 19:07Speaker 1: interference is going to continue, which is, I know, very disheartening,
- 19:11Speaker 1: but I'm just gonna be real with you guys. That's
- 19:13Speaker 1: the truth. Can you guys all know how it feels
- 19:17Speaker 1: like our country is sort of run by complete idiots?
- 19:22Speaker 1: And that would be because it's true. A Biden-Harris appointed
- 19:26Speaker 1: Department of Energy official called for queering nuclear weapons as
- 19:31Speaker 1: part of her radical DEI agenda. Sneha Nair was appointed
- 19:37Speaker 1: as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration. And
- 19:43Speaker 1: before joining the Biden-Harris regime, she worked for the Stimson Institute,
- 19:48Speaker 1: which is a think tank that has received hundreds of
- 19:50Speaker 1: thousands from Soros' Open Society Foundation and millions from, and
- 19:54Speaker 1: this is a little weird, the Embassy of the State
- 19:56Speaker 1: of Qatar. And before Sneha's appointment, she wrote an article
- 20:01Speaker 1: in April 2023 in which she said, queer theory informs
- 20:06Speaker 1: the struggle of nuclear justice and disarmament. and helps to
- 20:10Speaker 1: shift the perception of nuclear weapons as instruments for security
- 20:15Speaker 1: by telling the hidden stories of displacement, illness, and trauma
- 20:18Speaker 1: caused by their production and testing. And according to Sneha,
- 20:24Speaker 1: DEI is, quote, essential for creating effective nuclear policy. And
- 20:29Speaker 1: without it, it would be impossible to mitigate insider threats.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Do I know what I think is a national security threat?
- 20:37Speaker 1: letting crackpot Marxists invade sectors as serious as nuclear security administration.
- 20:44Speaker 1: And guys, queer theory falls under the same category as
- 20:47Speaker 1: critical race theory, fat studies, disability studies. It's what we
- 20:51Speaker 1: call woke scholarship. It's part of a larger ideological framework
- 20:55Speaker 1: rooted in both postmodernism and neo-Marxism, which of course was
- 20:59Speaker 1: pioneered in the 1960s by radical left-wing activists, not real scholars.
- 21:04Speaker 1: And these aren't real fields of study. because they aren't
- 21:08Speaker 1: aimed at pursuing knowledge or the truth. And instead they're
- 21:12Speaker 1: aimed at deconstructing traditional societal norms. And you guys, this
- 21:17Speaker 1: is why the university system does matter because they're poison
- 21:22Speaker 1: spreads to all parts of American life. And I understand
- 21:27Speaker 1: some people wanting to opt out of higher education and
- 21:29Speaker 1: pursue a different path. Not everyone needs to attend college.
- 21:33Speaker 1: But we need some good people to go to college. Otherwise,
- 21:36Speaker 1: we're just handing power in this country over to lunatics
- 21:40Speaker 1: like Sneha Nair. Does she steal luggage too? That's a
- 21:46Speaker 1: good comment from Pops McGroin. Yes, true. I mean, really,
- 21:49Speaker 1: the craziest people the Biden admin is appointing to these
- 21:54Speaker 1: high positions of power, people with genuine mental illness. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: I believe most of the mental illness is bred in
- 22:00Speaker 1: the university system, which is poisoning all of American life
- 22:04Speaker 1: and needs to be addressed. And I know the school
- 22:07Speaker 1: year is starting up again, and I want to talk
- 22:09Speaker 1: to you guys about something that's definitely going to be
- 22:12Speaker 1: something you face if you're heading off to college or
- 22:14Speaker 1: faced by your child or grandchild if they are heading
- 22:17Speaker 1: off to college this year. When I was a freshman,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I went to the University of Chicago, and when I
- 22:22Speaker 1: first moved in to my dorm, our RA gathered everyone
- 22:26Speaker 1: on my floor to share their names and their pronouns.
- 22:32Speaker 1: So we all sat around in a circle. We said,
- 22:34Speaker 1: give your name and your pronouns. And at the time,
- 22:37Speaker 1: no one had ever asked me that question. I was
- 22:42Speaker 1: sincerely shocked to be asked it. I mean, I was 18.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I came from a very normal family. I went to
- 22:49Speaker 1: Catholic school. This was never an issue for me. And
- 22:53Speaker 1: so it was the first time anybody had ever asked
- 22:54Speaker 1: me that. And it was also the first time I'd
- 22:56Speaker 1: ever lived away from home. And I was meeting for
- 22:58Speaker 1: the first time a bunch of people that I'd now
- 23:00Speaker 1: be living with. And I'm actually still very ashamed to
- 23:04Speaker 1: this day to admit this. But when they asked me
- 23:07Speaker 1: that question and I was kind of taken aback, I answered,
- 23:10Speaker 1: My name is Evita, she, her, hers. And after I
- 23:14Speaker 1: said it, I was horrified with myself. I still feel
- 23:19Speaker 1: shame about it because I know biological sex is real.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I know that I'm a female and I know that
- 23:24Speaker 1: engaging in their delusions and word games is wrong. But
- 23:28Speaker 1: I said it anyways because of the social pressure. And
- 23:31Speaker 1: I think had somebody prepared me and I had had
- 23:34Speaker 1: the opportunity to think about it beforehand, I never would
- 23:37Speaker 1: have done that. But it's... It's really important to think
- 23:42Speaker 1: about this beforehand because you're going to be faced with
- 23:45Speaker 1: situations like this. And we want to stay committed to
- 23:49Speaker 1: the truth. And by giving your pronouns, you are participating
- 23:53Speaker 1: in their false reality that men can be women and
- 23:56Speaker 1: women can be men. And almost every time I started
- 23:59Speaker 1: a new class at the University of Chicago, anytime I
- 24:02Speaker 1: had a new professor, professor would go around the room
- 24:05Speaker 1: and say, okay, give your names and your pronouns. And
- 24:09Speaker 1: what that pronoun question did was make it clear that
- 24:12Speaker 1: one ideology will be accepted in the classroom. It's a
- 24:15Speaker 1: signal that the professor is an activist who will not
- 24:18Speaker 1: tolerate dissent because the standard already is set that biological
- 24:23Speaker 1: sex is not real. And if you are somebody who's
- 24:27Speaker 1: going to college and you're asked, what are your pronouns?
- 24:30Speaker 1: You can be brave and you can say, you know,
- 24:32Speaker 1: biological sex is real. So I don't need to give
- 24:34Speaker 1: you my pronouns because they're already self-evident. Or you could
- 24:38Speaker 1: do what I did, which is to just give your
- 24:40Speaker 1: name and omit the pronouns, which is what I did
- 24:42Speaker 1: every time I started a new class. They'd ask for
- 24:44Speaker 1: your pronouns. I'd just give my name. And that way,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you aren't picking a fight in the classroom, but you're
- 24:50Speaker 1: also staying committed to the truth, which is essential in
- 24:55Speaker 1: this time as we are some of the only protectors
- 24:58Speaker 1: and defenders of the truth. Speaking of anti-truth political narratives, Pocahontas,
- 25:06Speaker 1: aka Elizabeth Warren, is continuing to exploit Indian Americans and
- 25:10Speaker 1: all of America, frankly, for politics. Warren is the primary
- 25:14Speaker 1: sponsor of a bill that would establish a truth and
- 25:17Speaker 1: healing commission on Indian boarding school policies in the United States.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And there are several reasons why this is just another
- 25:26Speaker 1: government slush fund bankrupting the country, but it also possesses,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I think, a threat to the safety of Christians in
- 25:36Speaker 1: this country. Now, the proposed commission will be given a
- 25:40Speaker 1: wide-ranging subpoena powers, and according to Zach Smith in Daily Signal,
- 25:45Speaker 1: shout out to him, he reported this out first, it'll
- 25:48Speaker 1: provide ample opportunities for Warren and other left-leaning politicians to
- 25:52Speaker 1: reward ideological allies with plum positions on the panel and
- 25:56Speaker 1: its other necessary advisory committees and subcommittees, which would control
- 25:59Speaker 1: an annual slush fund of $ 15 million. And an alarming
- 26:05Speaker 1: thing about this is that the commissioners' records and communications
- 26:09Speaker 1: would be exempt from public disclosure and therefore transparency under
- 26:14Speaker 1: the Freedom of Information Act or FOIA. So we don't
- 26:21Speaker 1: know exactly what this committee will be doing, and that's
- 26:24Speaker 1: a huge problem. But aside from all of that and
- 26:26Speaker 1: the amount of money that's going to cost the taxpayers,
- 26:29Speaker 1: This commission is also very dangerous for Christians. And to
- 26:33Speaker 1: understand why, we need to look at Canada. Back in 2021,
- 26:37Speaker 1: a mass grave at the site of a former residential
- 26:40Speaker 1: boarding school was discovered. And this incited a media firestorm.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And Canada established its own Truth and Reconciliation Commission to
- 26:49Speaker 1: address the legacy of Canada's Indian residential school system. The
- 26:53Speaker 1: problem is, this was all a hoax. There was no
- 26:57Speaker 1: mass grave and no human remains were ever found, even
- 27:01Speaker 1: after the Canadian government spent millions of dollars of taxpayer
- 27:05Speaker 1: funds searching for the bodies that were not there. And
- 27:09Speaker 1: the damage was immense to Christians in Canada. At least
- 27:13Speaker 1: 85 Catholic churches in Canada have been torched or vandalized
- 27:18Speaker 1: in some way after this hoax. And in our own country,
- 27:22Speaker 1: we already know that the Biden-Harris Justice Department has been
- 27:25Speaker 1: throwing pro-lifers behind bars for praying outside abortion clinics and
- 27:29Speaker 1: has done virtually nothing about the pro-abortion terrorists who vandalized
- 27:33Speaker 1: and firebombed churches and pro-life pregnancy centers after the overturning
- 27:36Speaker 1: of Roe v.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Wade.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It's also important to note that Elizabeth Warren... has said
- 27:42Speaker 1: many times that America is a historically racist country, and
- 27:45Speaker 1: she's called for radical remedies like reparations. And Zach in
- 27:49Speaker 1: The Daily Signal believes, and I think he's right about this,
- 27:52Speaker 1: that if established, the commission would be the first step
- 27:55Speaker 1: toward a race-based redistribution scheme. And even more broadly, and
- 28:00Speaker 1: I've been talking about this before on the show, it's
- 28:02Speaker 1: a way for the powerful people in our country to
- 28:05Speaker 1: keep us divided on racial issues. because regular working class
- 28:10Speaker 1: people are squabbling over racial divisions, then we won't turn
- 28:14Speaker 1: our anger on the failing elites. All right, last story,
- 28:19Speaker 1: you guys. The kids are not all right. USA Today
- 28:23Speaker 1: wrote about why millennials and Gen Z are spiraling, partying hard,
- 28:27Speaker 1: and blowing their savings. And one of the young people
- 28:30Speaker 1: quoted in this article said that his generation is, quote,
- 28:34Speaker 1: just kind of letting the days go by. bouncing from
- 28:37Speaker 1: job to job, partying, and just kind of acting like
- 28:41Speaker 1: everything will work out. So in other words, Gen Z is,
- 28:45Speaker 1: as the Washington Post editor put it, embracing an ethos
- 28:49Speaker 1: of chaos. And Peter St. Onge wrote a really great article,
- 28:53Speaker 1: again in the Daily Signal, explaining why young people are
- 28:57Speaker 1: so lost. And he explains that starting salaries for new
- 29:01Speaker 1: college graduates may seem decent at $ 68, 000, but But after
- 29:05Speaker 1: accounting for inflation, it's more like $ 50, 000 in pre-pandemic terms.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And the average bachelor's degree costing $ 300, 000 in debt, equivalent
- 29:15Speaker 1: to a four and a half years salary. Graduates are
- 29:19Speaker 1: facing much tougher financial challenges than previous generations. And he
- 29:22Speaker 1: talks about how back in the 1970s, college was eight
- 29:25Speaker 1: times cheaper and starting salaries were actually higher when adjusted
- 29:29Speaker 1: for inflation. Meanwhile, and this is really important, The medium
- 29:33Speaker 1: house now costs $ 412, 000, which is seven and a half
- 29:36Speaker 1: times that of a college graduate starting wage and is
- 29:41Speaker 1: about 15 times the average salary of a blue collar worker.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And in 1970, the medium home cost $ 24, 000, which was
- 29:50Speaker 1: only two and a half times the starting wage for
- 29:52Speaker 1: a college grad and closer to five times a blue
- 29:55Speaker 1: collar worker's wage. So essentially, and I know I threw
- 29:58Speaker 1: a lot of numbers at you guys, but what that
- 30:00Speaker 1: means is wages are down college costs, nine times more
- 30:05Speaker 1: and housing costs between seven and a half and 15
- 30:07Speaker 1: times annual salaries. And Peter makes fun of USA today
- 30:12Speaker 1: for suggesting that the solution to this is just more
- 30:15Speaker 1: mental health counseling. There's no solution from Democrats. They really
- 30:19Speaker 1: don't care because they're the ones that are creating these problems.
- 30:22Speaker 1: And I read this article and I just kept thinking,
- 30:25Speaker 1: oh my goodness. This is why messaging to young people
- 30:29Speaker 1: is so essential and I believe will be fruitful. Right-wing
- 30:34Speaker 1: leaders need to articulate why the American dream has been
- 30:37Speaker 1: stolen from young people. Talk about how cutting spending will
- 30:42Speaker 1: stop inflation and lower interest rates, and that will help
- 30:45Speaker 1: them have a future. And as Peter points out, getting
- 30:49Speaker 1: the government out of college loans, so then the price
- 30:52Speaker 1: of college will start to come down and be somewhat reasonable.
- 30:56Speaker 1: But if you ask young people, are you optimistic about
- 30:58Speaker 1: your future? Are you optimistic about America? The answer is
- 31:01Speaker 1: overwhelmingly no. The American dream objectively is not the same
- 31:07Speaker 1: for us as it was for our parents and our grandparents.
- 31:11Speaker 1: And young people, unfortunately, have an inclination to support radical
- 31:15Speaker 1: collectivist policies, communist policies, because two things. One, the school
- 31:20Speaker 1: system is full of activists. We just talked about that.
- 31:23Speaker 1: And it no longer pursues the truth. And because they're
- 31:26Speaker 1: losing hope, they're getting desperate. And that's why it's so
- 31:30Speaker 1: essential for the right to stop acting like young people
- 31:33Speaker 1: are unwinnable and actually spend time and money thoughtfully messaging
- 31:38Speaker 1: to them. And this really isn't even about winning for
- 31:41Speaker 1: the Republican party. It's it comes down to having a
- 31:45Speaker 1: future for the next generation. All right, that's all I
- 31:48Speaker 1: got for you guys. If you're listening on Apple or Spotify,
- 31:51Speaker 1: make sure to hit the like and follow button. And
- 31:53Speaker 1: reminder that I'm here on Rumble at 9 a.m. Eastern time,
- 31:56Speaker 1: five days a week. On Monday, I will be hosting
- 31:58Speaker 1: Dan's radio show. So stay tuned for that. I'm really
- 32:01Speaker 1: thankful to you all for listening in. I'll see you
- 32:03Speaker 1: all next week. The Dan Bongino Show.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I think a lot of people are underestimating the Trump
- 32:08Speaker 2: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 32:12Speaker 2: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 32:14Speaker 2: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 32:17Speaker 2: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue. That is it.
- 32:22Speaker 2: This is not a football game. If you vote, we
- 32:25Speaker 2: will win. It is not complicated.
