  Speaker 7: it thing up, wouldn't shock me to see something totally

  Speaker 6: Now, Chris, we fully expect Anthony Iinson to be out

  Speaker 7: that path a little bit shorter to the Championship Series,

  Speaker 7: which obviously was thrilled to see him get and his

  Speaker 7: Tigers get Saturday. But again, to me, the biggest takeaway

  Speaker 7: was in a game where runs were at a premium,

  Speaker 7: you were able to keep Kate Anderson in there. Your

  Speaker 7: young man goes very deep for you. Chase Shores didn't
• 7:21
  Speaker 7: have to labor very much when he brought the flamethrower in,
• 7:24
  Speaker 7: and then Casean Evans and suddenly now you know, with
• 7:28
  Speaker 7: this intimidating gauntlet that the College World Series can be.

  Speaker 7: I mean, I don't think LSU could ask to be
• 7:34
  Speaker 7: in a better shape to have won that game one
• 7:37
  Speaker 7: against Arkansas and to have the pitching staff, and I mean,
• 7:41
  Speaker 7: I don't know how you make it. I don't know

  Speaker 7: how you come into the second game in the winners

  Speaker 7: bracket not feeling as good as you possibly can based
• 7:48
  Speaker 7: on what you still have available. Again, knowing that you

  Speaker 7: have Anthony Hynson to start your second game here at Omo.

  Speaker 6: Now one of the things is probably gonna get lost
• 7:59
  Speaker 6: a little bit. And look, I did it earlier this morning.

  Speaker 6: You're talking about all the things that you know attributed

  Speaker 6: to the win against Arkansas, and you kind of forget

  Speaker 6: about how good defensively LSU was. Some of the double

  Speaker 6: plays that they were able to turn, even the play

  Speaker 6: to finish the game, like, that's not routine by any means,

  Speaker 6: and Steven Milin goes, you know, and finds a way

  Speaker 6: to get it out and makes it look more routine

  Speaker 6: than it should. But the defense was so big for LSU,

  Speaker 6: and it's been good all year long.

  Speaker 7: Yeah, it really has. I mean they're on pace again

  Speaker 7: to be one of the best, if not the best,

  Speaker 7: statistically defenses in the program's history, which is again you

  Speaker 7: can go through the entire list of the players that's

  Speaker 7: one of the Purple and Gold and been great, great defenders.

  Speaker 7: So yeah, I mean, and you know, you think back,

  Speaker 7: that's one of the things that Jay just kind of

  Speaker 7: quietly talked about is this season went on, you know,

  Speaker 7: because everybody wants to talk about, you know, his offense

  Speaker 7: or you know, how's the pitching staff coming along. And

  Speaker 7: while both of those have had really great moments and

  Speaker 7: then they've had not so great moments, the one consistency

  Speaker 7: has been defensed defensively.

  Speaker 7: Look at a team like Arkansas, I think they've been

  Speaker 7: held under two runs once this year. The other night,

  Speaker 7: it's a team that gets runners on. They're not the

  Speaker 7: most aggressive team as far as stealing bases, but they
• 9:18
  Speaker 7: get traffic on bases and then they seem to be

  Speaker 7: able to find the key hits. And for them to

  Speaker 7: have one base runner reached second base the entire game,

  Speaker 7: a handful of hits given up, I mean, it's just

  Speaker 7: I mean, wow.

  Speaker 7: Again, some of those plays you talked about, that double

  Speaker 7: talk about for LSU from a Nash you know, media perspective,
