- 0:00Speaker 1: We have an early visit from the associate coach of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Huskies, Chris Daley after the victory today.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, I was coming out to see you
- 0:08Speaker 2: after Tennessee. But there was the tornado warning.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Well we were in there, We were in the building.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Yeah, they wouldn't let it. They told us on to
- 0:14Speaker 4: the line they kept. Yeah.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, it was interesting.
- 0:17Speaker 4: It was weird.
- 0:17Speaker 1: But yeah, especially on February sixth, that's new for us. Yeah,
- 0:22Speaker 1: well Chris nice rebound today? Man, is it me or
- 0:24Speaker 1: is it an ice boxing here today? I mean, I
- 0:27Speaker 1: know there's nice, there's an iced drink, but it just
- 0:30Speaker 1: feels like there's been a draft all day here, not
- 0:34Speaker 1: over there.
- 0:34Speaker 5: You were intense, you were ready, you were in the game.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It's just a weird building. When you play in buildings
- 0:38Speaker 2: that are set up like NBA courts professional, I'm almost
- 0:43Speaker 2: at the baseline, so it's hard to see the majority
- 0:46Speaker 2: of the game.
- 0:47Speaker 3: This is a new setup, this whole thing with these seats.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Right, I wish I was over here, But well, why
- 0:53Speaker 4: didn't you?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Why didn't you and Honey switch?
- 0:58Speaker 2: It just puts you, It just gives you a totally
- 1:00Speaker 2: different look. I'm not a fan of it.
- 1:02Speaker 3: But yeah, you are craft. You can give your associate
- 1:06Speaker 3: coach a hug. All right, let's go, okay.
- 1:13Speaker 4: All right, go that's Kyvie McLaren.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yep, all number forty one. She has a couple of
- 1:17Speaker 1: rings given Debbie hugs here. What'd you think of the
- 1:19Speaker 1: defensive performance today by your team?
- 1:22Speaker 2: You know, I thought overall it was pretty good. I
- 1:24Speaker 2: thought the third carter, we just fouled too much at
- 1:28Speaker 2: they got to the line and uh really took advantage
- 1:31Speaker 2: of that, and that just you know, we were in
- 1:32Speaker 2: the they were in the bonus with five minutes ago.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So that was not our best effort. So we have
- 1:39Speaker 2: to continue to get better and rebound. The ball got
- 1:42Speaker 2: out rebounded, which.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Is not good.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Does anything not. I'm not making excuses by any means.
- 1:47Speaker 5: I'm just talking like now you you know it's a
- 1:49Speaker 5: twelve o'clock game, does it like just game preparation or
- 1:51Speaker 5: any not. They were ready to play, they played hard,
- 1:54Speaker 5: but just the sense is that come to play at all?
- 1:55Speaker 4: As how it can't? You know, you only we were
- 1:59Speaker 4: just talking in the locker room.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We we have literally six games left in the regular season,
- 2:03Speaker 2: so we're when it's back in October November, and you're
- 2:07Speaker 2: on the team, you think you have forever, and now
- 2:09Speaker 2: you realize we have six games left and so the
- 2:12Speaker 2: things that we're not doing well now are going to
- 2:15Speaker 2: impact us in a more significant way. So we really
- 2:19Speaker 2: have to continue to focus on the little things and
- 2:22Speaker 2: get better.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Chris, what about aggress I mean Asy finally got going
- 2:26Speaker 1: in the third quarter and she could wouldn't stop from there.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean five or six from three with seventeen. But
- 2:31Speaker 1: Gino talked about this on the Coaches Show the other
- 2:33Speaker 1: day about hunting for hoopes like Page, like Asy, do
- 2:36Speaker 1: they need to be more aggressive early to try to
- 2:38Speaker 1: set the tone for them offensively, as long as it's
- 2:41Speaker 1: in the context of the offense.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Well, I thought Asy was aggressive.
- 2:44Speaker 2: She just missed a lot more than we're used to
- 2:46Speaker 2: seeing or miss and they were drives, you know, they
- 2:49Speaker 2: weren't early threes in the first half, right, And then
- 2:52Speaker 2: I thought the second half she was aggressive, which you
- 2:55Speaker 2: want to see that, you know, you want her to
- 2:57Speaker 2: because I thought the other day she passed up some
- 2:59Speaker 2: shots that she should have and would have normally taken.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So I thought her aggressive. Her aggressiveness was really good.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And when she gets in that rhythm. It's you know,
- 3:08Speaker 2: it's easy. Once you see the first one I go in.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think it's easy for her to see the next
- 3:12Speaker 2: four or five whatever to go in. And I thought
- 3:14Speaker 2: Page was aggressive today, so I thought we were aggressive.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I thought in terms of preparation, we had a really
- 3:20Speaker 2: good day of practice.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Yesterday, so that was a positive.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So, you know, I thought we were ready regardless of
- 3:27Speaker 2: the time that the game started.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And playing in here was nice. I mean they had
- 3:31Speaker 1: almost seventy five hundred today.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a good crowd.
- 3:35Speaker 2: It's it's a cold, obviously, but it was a good
- 3:40Speaker 2: right the weather was yeah, and we're you know now,
- 3:43Speaker 2: we're just trying to get back to watch the super Bowl.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You know, you got you got tonight.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I don't know, I have mixed feelings, you know, Steve
- 3:51Speaker 2: Spagnola and the Chiefs, but I and I find it
- 3:54Speaker 2: very difficult to route for the Eagles because of all
- 3:58Speaker 2: for coach and Gino and all my friends from Philly,
- 4:01Speaker 2: because I think it'd be unbearable for them to win.
- 4:03Speaker 2: But there's part of me that kind of wants them
- 4:05Speaker 2: to win.
- 4:06Speaker 4: So I don't know.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I guess I'm under that it doesn't matter to me.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'll be happy either. But don't tell Steve that because
- 4:12Speaker 2: I told him I was rooting for him.
- 4:14Speaker 5: So is there is there any Super Bowl favorite snacks
- 4:18Speaker 5: that the team's going to be taken on or you yourself here?
- 4:20Speaker 4: No, not that I know over. I'm just ready to
- 4:23Speaker 4: get home. Yeah, just ready to get.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Back, all right. Saint John's Wednesday. I mean, that's gonna
- 4:27Speaker 1: be a grind. But boy, they have a hard time scoring.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I like what Joe does with his team.
- 4:31Speaker 4: But they run a lot of good sets.
- 4:34Speaker 2: But you know, we have to take advantage we're at
- 4:35Speaker 2: home because then the next three I believe we're on
- 4:38Speaker 2: the road. So I don't know who does scheduling for
- 4:40Speaker 2: the Big East, but it wouldn't be me. So we
- 4:43Speaker 2: have to take advantage of being having a chance to
- 4:45Speaker 2: play at home and then, you know, have three tough
- 4:49Speaker 2: games on the road and see where we are at
- 4:50Speaker 2: the end of you know, it's a tough stretch.
- 4:52Speaker 1: All right, Safe travels home. I think the roads are
- 4:54Speaker 1: in pretty good shape.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty good.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So drive fast and take chances, all right. That's what
- 4:58Speaker 1: my brother used to tell me. Drop my my mom
- 5:00Speaker 1: is to drive my mom crazy. My brother's saying that
- 5:02Speaker 1: thank you, Seede
