- Keoni McKeague: Welcome back to the podcast. I'm your co-host, McKee again with me today on the fifth down is my boyfriend, fifth down Nolan Chang. Say what's up with that a pod Nolan. Nolan: ⁓ everybody. Keoni McKeague: Yes, we have our fantasy expert back in the building because well, you know Fantasy expert number one last year in the regular season regular season MVP He's the Joel and bead of our I'm just kidding. You're like you like Josh Allen. You know what I mean? Like you always get like right there like Nolan: Easy on the expert everybody. Easy on... Dang! Keoni McKeague: actually no I think they're like I'm Josh Allen you really are Joel Embiid did you make it out the first round this year yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah exactly all right so yeah like so you're even better than Joel Embiid Nolan: You Damn. Yeah, I gotta bounce in a second. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ but anyway, sorry, that's not what we're, that's not what this conversation was about. Yeah. Wrong sport. And we are supposed to be talking about fantasy things. So on today's podcast, because we kind of, ⁓ well, we had the NFL draft happened and we were on vacation for a little bit. ⁓ we're coming back to talk about our biggest risers from the NFL draft. So this is post-draft ranking stuff. Nolan: was the wrong sport everybody. Keoni McKeague: We're not gonna give you the exact rankings because you know, I'm pretty sure those are all over the place right now with the amount of guys that got drafted, but we'll be working on those rankings and yeah. Nolan: Also our lists are a little different, so it's like, I could say like he rises five spots, but it doesn't really equate to his list, you know, you know. Keoni McKeague: Exactly. So we'll probably be updating that eventually. But as of right now, these are our risers post draft and we'll get into our list in just a second. But before we do any of that, we have to give a shout out to our partners over at W Energy. Fantastic tasting energy. All of the energy you need to get through your day. You head on over to W.G.G. or use the W Energy app in our promo code, which is POI and SOI. That's P O I and S O I for 10 percent off your order. Nolan, let's talk some NFL fantasy football. So like we talked off pod ⁓ you did this in a probably smarter way of Prioritizing which risers you want ⁓ ahead of some of these other guys. I did it in the Probably most confusing way which is my position So let's start off with your number one priority riser somebody that you feel is gonna be rising up the ranks from wherever you had him to Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Wherever you might have him now. Like is this a tear jump? Is this a who's your first player you got on the risers? ⁓ Nolan: this let me let me double check that really quick because I didn't update the list because I wanted to do it in time with our recording ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah. ⁓ really? ⁓ okay. Okay. I like that. Nolan: So he did move up the list. My first riser is AJ Brown. ⁓ He didn't, well, cause I had him in the middle of my tier three or like low middle of my tier three. He is now number one on tier three for me. I didn't want to put him like immediately in tier two, but what the reports had been saying, it warrants him moving up. If he does go to the Patriots as it is foreseen to happen at the beginning of June, ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: He's getting a complete upgrade in the QB position. ⁓ He's gonna be entering as a pretty much clear in a way wide receiver one for that team. and with Philly now drafting Mackay Lemon it it seems like they're kind of yeah the writing is on the wall they're framing themselves to let go of AJ Brown and I think that this is going to be a positive for for both sides so AJ Brown is moving up about at least on my list he's moving up eight spots to the top of tier three you could argue bottom of tier two but as of right now I'm just gonna have him at the top of tier three Keoni McKeague: The writing's on the wall. Yeah. So if this is a, because supposedly it's a two horse race for acquiring AJ Brown, thoughts and opinions on if he lands with the Los Angeles Rams. Nolan: Mm-hmm. If he does land with the Rams, ⁓ here's the thing I would say, there's a lot of off-field antics going on with Pukinokua right now. I don't know what it's gonna look like as they enter OTAs and training camp, if he's even gonna be there, or if the reports are true and he did go to a rehab center or whatever it was. I don't know, I'm hoping he gets the help he needs, cause, you know, yeah. Yeah, and mental health. Keoni McKeague: What I can I just I mean what is it just a biting thing or what is the Nolan: Just his inability to control his liquor from what I what I can tell. I don't know like it just seems Yeah, you know it there's just here and there ⁓ also Keoni McKeague: He's young! Damn. Yeah, that was like, you know what mean? We all will be checking into some rehabs. Nolan: Shall Marbury punch in the hell out of me during college? But also that they're they've made it very clear that For the money portion of it. It's not gonna be this season, but this the following season They don't know if they can offer Devante Adams the contract that he's gonna be looking for so this is also something that could be just kind of as a prerequisite as they enter the 2027 offseason Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: So if he does land with the Rams, I have no doubt that he's gonna make a difference immediately. I think that that's probably gonna be something really impactful for them. Imagine you having Puka, AJ Brown, and Devonte Adams as your three wide receivers. Look, if the Rams somehow pull that off, I'm going to Vegas, I'm throwing that money down, you know where you can find me, we will throw it down. Keoni McKeague: Just the singing out loud is ridiculous. was like, oh boy. I'm with you 100%. I was like, I don't think it's gonna win you much, but I'm down to throw it down anyway. Yeah, I was like, I'm just gonna ride along with you. I wholeheartedly agree. I do like the... landing spot of the Patriots better than I like the Rams. Just because he steps into a clear number one as opposed to probably a number two when fully healthy and all playing, you know what I mean? Nolan: Mm-hmm. Probably not the red zone target either if you went with the rams like... Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah, I do think he'd I think I think he usurps Devante Adams because you know as we kind of saw last year you didn't really need to rely on Devante outside of just everything in the red zone. But so yeah, it feels like at least you would step into a number two role. Yeah, exactly. Literally every single time it's like Pooka's not even on the field. Like how do we how do we not just all cover Devante Adams in the red zone? But yeah, I do have him also as a riser. I think he actually jumped the Nolan: Yeah, you knew it was coming, you couldn't stop it. Cover him! Cover him! Keoni McKeague: tier for me because I probably had them bottom of let me double check fact check myself. Oh yeah, I had him in the middle of the pack for tier three. I did bump up to tier two because I just think that. Nolan: How many did you have in your tier 3 though? Because I had 13 in mine. Keoni McKeague: In tier three, said? Tier three was 14 through 27. So 14, technically. So I think he jumped up. Yeah, I literally put him at number 13 overall wide receiver. So he's in my tier two at the bottom of the tier two guys just under Malik neighbors. Just because, yeah, if he jumps into a number one role, where do you know? Adrian Brown is still one of the best wide receivers in the league. He just didn't have a quarterback that wanted to throw the ball to him. So. Nolan: Yeah. Okay, good. and he was kind of like a whiny brat too, so. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, well, yeah, part of them. There's also that part. But yeah, so he's definitely a big jumper for me. Moving on to our next guy. I'll throw it over to myself, I guess. As far as somebody that I feel like is a big time riser post draft ⁓ and really it ended up. I had to talk myself into this one because it was something that I wasn't sure if I liked the landing spot or didn't like the landing spot. ⁓ But I do think I ultimately settled on I do like the landing spot and that is Jadarian price of the Seattle Seahawks. ⁓ One. Similar to the Trevion Henderson Quinch on Judkins Pairing from Ohio State the two of them were paired together in that backfield so him and Jeremiah love were the two running backs ⁓ over in Notre Dame I Just think that he's way more talented than him being an RB2 in college would suggest because obviously when you're behind a Jeremiah Love, you're not going to get much playing time. But I do think that this has the makings of what Quinian Judkins and Trevion Henderson were. ⁓ When you're sitting behind somebody who just happens to be starting, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're terrible. I really, really liked Judarian Price as a prospect. Him landing with the Seattle Seahawks and them having the confidence to take him with their first overall Nolan: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: pick in this draft, especially considering that they don't have any very many draft picks paired with the fact that Charbonneur is going to be injured. Plus the fact that Emmanuel Wilson is brand new in this system. I just think that that says to me he's going to be starting for them and they really believe in his talent. So I like to Darian Price is my big riser, at least from a running back standpoint. He was probably like my top riser. But thoughts, opinions, do you agree, disagree? Nolan: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, Jaderian Price was one that I did not have in my original rankings. I did have him as one of my risers. He moved up to the bottom of tier three. Yeah. Yeah. He wasn't there. Yeah. But you know, situation is everything when it comes to the draft. He does step into the role that he probably wanted best when he was getting drafted. ⁓ What I'll say is that I do... Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's actually a very good point. He was like not even in the ranking. So yeah, an obvious riser. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Nolan: I do see him stepping into a running back 2 starting the season. I'm sure that they're going to probably get him some runway space. ⁓ But what I will add is that I'm probably keeping him around bottom of tier 3, top tier 4. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: ⁓ Just because he's probably not gonna be on a of people's radar. He's someone that you may want to wait I wouldn't necessarily say reach he may pay off in the second half of your fantasy season But he may not be what you want in the beginning of season So maybe don't waste a roster space unless the opportunity rises there Keoni McKeague: That's that fantasy expert talk. Here we go. ⁓ Anyway, moving on to your next riser on your list. Who do you have, Nolan? Nolan: ⁓ I got cam scatabow. ⁓ The fact that they did not draft a hefty running back. Yeah, you know, Keoni McKeague: Surprising, crazy, yeah. Nolan: The Giants seem to be clearing the space so that they can have him be their running back one at the start of season. ⁓ They use their 10th pick to pick up Francis ⁓ Mawgoa, I hope I pronounced that right, which is the tackle. So I think that they're setting things up to protect the assets that they currently already have. ⁓ They did a lot more on the defensive side, I would say, during the draft. ⁓ But Cam is moving up, I want to say four spots for me. Yeah, he's moving up four spots for me. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: I just think that he's gonna have a lot more kind of ⁓ wiggle room now. ⁓ They're preparing things on the line so that he has a little bit more protection because for Cam, protection is everything. So I had him moving up because I do think he's a much more valuable asset now that he doesn't have any competition trying to fight for that spot. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Agree wholeheartedly. ⁓ He was one of the guys I was most worried about, especially when it came to the draft, because it sounded like really, honestly, it probably still could have been a possibility that they would have drafted Jeremiah Love had he fallen to them at pick four. ⁓ They obviously that didn't work out for them or sorry, pick five. Right. Titans were pick four. ⁓ But yeah, had he fallen to them, that didn't end up happening. ⁓ I think he ended up being. Yeah, I agree with you. Hardly one of the biggest winners from the draft as far as no competition in there. I Nolan: Mm-hmm. Yes. Keoni McKeague: I think he was in my bottom of tier 3 and I put him in the middle of, or excuse me. Yeah, middle of tier 3. Yeah, okay. So yeah, he's right there in the mix of tier 3 players. yeah, mostly because the health concerns. That's my only thing. Like I couldn't, yeah, I wanted to, I wanted to, talent wise, he should be like middle of 2 or something like that, but. Nolan: Yeah, that's pretty much what I did. Yeah, I couldn't just throw him up there. Keoni McKeague: the concussion protocol issue is gonna be something that we're gonna have to monitor all year. ⁓ anyway, moving on to my next riser, again, another running back, my riser for my list is actually Quinn Sean Judkins. ⁓ between the Cleveland Browns having one of the best overall drafts period ⁓ and the amount of work that they put in in this off season. Not only is that offensive line just drastically improved and I'm talking from veteran pieces to rookie pieces, ⁓ especially rookie pieces and Spencer Fano and getting him in the mix here. I think that they just. drastically improve the amount of blocking that they will have for their for their running back group and specifically with this team They did nothing to really add any competition for Quinn John Judskins. Obviously Dylan Samson is still there So he will be somebody that I feel like gets into the mix But I'm still in the realm of like this is gonna be like a 70 30 split So it won't be anything Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Substantial for Dylan Sampson. They got rid of Jerome Ford. So the veteran piece that was in there that was trusted by the original regime Is no longer there and on top of that just quench on gut Judkins believing in his talent I definitely had him as a big-time riser after this draft because I thought for sure that they might Bring somebody in or as the Cleveland Browns normally do screw up the draft. They did not they had a fantastic draft Yes Nolan: Mm-hmm. They did not, they definitely addressed a lot of missing pieces for themselves. Good job, guys. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, and especially with the I was like, especially with the addition of the wide receivers, which. Yes, I was like, I might have. Yeah, we might have might have them. Yeah, I agree with you, too. But yeah, so was like, especially with those addition of the new weapons, I mean, it's an overall just a much better situation for for Quinchun, Judkins and whichever quarterback is starting for them. But anyway, thoughts, opinions, anything to add? Nolan: We'll get to them. I mean, I'm gonna touch on it. No, I'm in complete agreement. I believe it's Todd Monkin, right? ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Todd Malkin. Nolan: It's clear that this draft was geared towards things that he did not believe in that was currently on the roster. Quincheon Judkins not having anyone that's been brought in to kind of replace him or to fight for his spot shows a lot of faith from that team and that coaching staff. So the fact that he is there, I'm in complete agreement that he can jump up a few spots, get a little bit more notoriety for where you're gonna take him in the draft. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. ⁓ yeah. Agree wholeheartedly. Who do you have next on your list Nolan? Nolan: Next on my risers I got Cam Ward. ⁓ Yeah I had to push him up a little bit more. ⁓ It was yeah for me I put him about let me see where it was ⁓ six spots so he is now bottom of tier three for me. ⁓ The Titans clearly got some new weapons going ⁓ including ⁓ honestly I'm gonna do two risers because it's they're kind of hand in hand. ⁓ Carnel Tate is my other riser. Keoni McKeague: Mmm! Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: I did not necessarily have him anywhere of importance, I think I had him bottom of tier 4. I moving him up ⁓ pretty much to the top of tier 4. ⁓ him and Cam Ward are now the two young guns for this team. ⁓ They obviously brought in Wondell Robinson as well, who's going to be a huge piece for this team. But I think that you getting ⁓ a clear wide receiver too for a struggling offense that it was last year bodes very well for both of them. I think the Titans made some great moves. ⁓ Clearly it's going to be a very much much more exciting season for them. And we're going to be able to get Cam Ward to actually show what he's got. And Carnell Tate being that kind of big body receiver that Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: he's going to need. Fantastic things. ⁓ I'm very excited. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly on actually both of those. I had both of them on my list as well. Cam Ward and Carnel Tate. Clear risers after the draft. Agree with you wholeheartedly on the rookie sort of chemistry thing that we're probably going to get. You know what mean? There's always that sort of like, you know, this is our team now. Let's let's do this kind of thing. ⁓ Yeah. Well, we're not talking about fallers here, but there were some some that were some obvious fallers post draft after this from that team. ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: And yeah, agree horribly really liked the addition of carnal tape to the team. Really like what Cam Ward's going to get, especially with Robert Sala adding a lot of pieces along that offensive line as well. So. Look, you're really good, man. That's a team that I'm not going to say like a worst to first type of deal, but they definitely have the makings of like, you know, maybe in the next two or three. Yeah, maybe, maybe. I'm trying to remember who else is in that division. The Titans division is. Nolan: Mm-hmm. They could surprise some people. Is it Texans Colts or is that a different one? Texans Colts? No. Saints? No, not Saints. Texans Colts. Keoni McKeague: Son, Jaguar? No. No, I'd say that's yeah. I know that division very well. They're very, very ⁓ stacked in that one. ⁓ Nolan: Texans Colts. We'll figure it out someday. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I was like, it's sure somebody that sounds right Texans called Jaguars Titans. No, they're wrong. Nolan: That'd be the only three, right? ⁓ it is Jaguars. Yeah. Yeah, you're right. Keoni McKeague: Okay, okay. All right. was like, yeah, I was like, they sound like they're the the down south division. Anyway, ⁓ moving on to my next big riser from this draft. And honestly, this one isn't like a drastic rise, but it is one that I felt like should at least be going upwards from where he was initially. I think they had him somewhere around. I know fantasy pros had him in like RB 12 conversation for myself. He was probably like just above that. But Jeremiah Love. ⁓ I think when you use the third overall pick on a running back and specifically with this Arizona team that with the rumors going around regarding James Connor and sort of ⁓ what they want to do with their backfield. It just sounds more and more like Jeremiah Love is going to be handed the keys and given a full workload over here in Arizona. I know they just signed Tyler Aljair. Aljair, however you want to say it. I forgot how to actually correctly pronounce his last name, but. ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. I don't know. It's not gonna matter anymore. Keoni McKeague: You're damn right. Because yeah, clearly he was, you know, taken aback by the selection. I think there was a lot of rumors leading up to the draft that I think nobody really believed that they were actually going to take Jeremiah Love. And then it happened. And now you have the keys over to him. You add him to what is becoming one of the best looking, you know, offensive weapon groups in all of the NFL. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I think between that, the new offensive coordinator, that kind of stuff all being thrown into the mix. Clearly there's a plan for Jeremiah Love. mean, I had him as landing with the New York Giants and that was to me at least a little bit more scary because then he was splitting the backfield with Kam Skarabu. Then there was the other of like him landing with Tony Pollard and ⁓ what's his name over in Tennessee? Didn't like that fit. But here in Arizona to me, I mean, it's just a clear cut runway outside of having Al Jarr to Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: be the bully ball guy compared to Jeremiah Love's sort of like more finesse play. To me, it just makes a ton of sense. And then, of course, they're talking about James Connor being cut before the season just because of how much money he can save them ⁓ even post ⁓ because they adjusted his contract, right? ⁓ Which is even more messed up. Like he took a pay cut and then you're to cut him. So ⁓ but yeah, a lot of rumors around that and him landing somewhere else. Nolan: Yeah. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ as a veteran running back. So yeah, I had Jeremiah Love rising because of all of those factors put in together. Nolan: Like you might as well trade them and get assets back or something like... Keoni McKeague: Yeah, mean, I guess because I don't know. I don't know how the money thing works for the NFL. I feel like if if they do that, then they have to account for his money on the I don't know. It's something like that. There's some weird rule regarding somebody who's under contract, but only for a year or whatever. But anyway. Anyway, did you have him or no, not not somebody else? Yeah. Nolan: Get your ish together, NFL. Not necessarily. Yeah, I'll kind of get to it later on, that would I definitely am in agreement I felt like it was kind of a no-brainer though. So that's why I didn't add him onto my risers It just seems like you know, whoever he gets drafted to Most likely he's gonna be immediately the the person that they're looking to to build upon their season and their future ⁓ But yeah, definitely in agreement ⁓ Probably get to you know, next segment when we do our followers a little bit more on the cardinals, but yeah But yes, I'm in agreement with Jeremiah Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, yeah, yeah. There will definitely be a few Cardinals on there. Anyway, moving on to your next one. Who do you have on your risers list? Nolan: love. ⁓ Moving up only one spot, the only reason it doesn't sound exciting is because but it is because he's moving from tier 3 to tier 2. It is Jalen Hurts. ⁓ You know, I moved him up mainly because I think that the the cloud of his relationship with Agent Brown is now going to be moving away. We're gonna look really foolish if they don't train Agent Brown. ⁓ But in the meantime, yeah. ⁓ yeah, yeah. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: ⁓ They will look really foolish if they don't trade Asia, but let's keep it a buck. I was like. Nolan: But once again, they're getting McKaylemon there. The OC is going to be now the one calling the plays instead of Sirianni. So it's going to be a much more fruitful looking offense for this Philadelphia Eagles team. And I do think that warrants Jalen Hurts at least moving up a tier. Do I know how it's going to look? No, but Jalen Hurts was someone that we did tout. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: maybe three seasons ago as someone who who was in the running is like a top five quarterback in the league. So I want him to return to that form. He's going to get a young gun. He's getting rid of some ⁓ some baggage, I guess you could say. He's still going to have a Smitty there. So I think that this is going to be really fun for them to see. ⁓ As well as they they picked up a new tight end who Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: Possibly could bring something in I know that they said that they were discussing Dallas Goddard contract at the end of this year next season So that that's something that could be on the lookout as well Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I mean to kind of bounce off that final point, mean Eli Stowers is like... Nolan: Yes, Eli Stowers. was like, his name blanked on me. Keoni McKeague: He 100 % is somebody that I threw into sort of just to kind of add to what you were saying. I'm going to throw him into the risers conversation because I just feel like if you drafting somebody in a year where you Dallas Goddard going through his contract negotiations and not settling on anything permanent for at least, you know, a multi-year contract type of deal, it just seems like eventually you're going to be handing over the keys to Eli. And at the moment, Eli Stowers is probably your best receiving threat from the tight end room on this team. So makes a ton of sense. You're going to want to build a rapport with him and Jaylen Hurts. I had him as a riser just because I feel like there's a chance depending on how this attack ends up looking ⁓ that they could be a team that or yeah that they could be a team that utilizes that tight end position a ton this season specifically ⁓ with AJ Brown. Likely to be traded and I agree I'll agree with you on the Jalen hurts one I didn't have a moment less, but I do agree with all the points I feel like that does make a ton of sense why you would have him as a riser. I'm gonna throw this is probably like the Surprise name of surprise names, I guess for my risers list, but my next riser is actually gonna be should or Sanders ⁓ Nolan: Huh. K? K? Keoni McKeague: First and foremost, does sound like whatever issues that they're having with Deshaun Watson are still lingering. They're still there are still issues that they're having with him. So it doesn't sound like he's going to be for long with this organization. I know the rumor is that they can save a ton of money by cutting him. I'm not sure that that's going to happen, but it doesn't sound like post training camp that he's going to make it out as QB1. Supposedly Todd Munkin took this job with a keen eye on Chedur Sanders being his quarterback of the future. Between that and the fact that they are now a much improved team, the offensive line, tremendously talented, this wide receiver group, which we'll probably get into in a second, with Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston being added to the room. Both tremendously talented wide receivers. Of course, have Jerry Judy there. Quincy Judkins. mean, there's a litany of ⁓ pass catchers, a litany of playmakers. You got Harold Fan in there. To me, this is all pointing towards Jadur Sanders being QB1 to start the year. And really with all of the tools that he has now available to him, he has zero excuses to not be the quarterback that he was hyped to be heading into last year's draft. Again, a lot of people felt like the only reason that he fell to where he fell draft stock wise is because of his interviewing. I just think that had he been a good interviewer, he probably would have been in the first round. Maybe to the Saints, maybe to some other team, but who knows. Nolan: Maybe the Browns would have used them in their with their first pick that. Keoni McKeague: Exactly, exactly. So I was like, just in my opinion, which should just kind of being the most talented and most the highest upside quarterback on this team. I just think he probably didn't get a fair shake, including from myself, because I obviously I'm a Pitrick Steeler fan, so I'm going to hate anything that the Cleveland Browns do. But I can't hate what they did this offseason to help him. And honestly. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: That's the type of moves that I would like to see them do for one of our young QBs. Like if it was Will Howard stepping in this year, that's exactly what I'd want to see their team do in order to prove around him. So I just have him rising really above. Yeah, he went up, he only made three spots as far as QBs, but I put him up, I put him as a riser just because I feel like he's going to come away with that QB one position locked up post training camp. Nolan: I mean I'll jump to what I'll say. ⁓ I actually had Deshaun Watson as one of my lower risers. ⁓ You know, you brought up great points for Shader. The main reason I see it in this light is because they have him tied up for so much money. Yes, you could probably save some money by cutting him, but you also have Deshaun Watson who is someone of an MVP caliber quarterback when he was, you know, healthy. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah, go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Agree. Nolan: You did, you know, you brought in Todd Monkin. You do have a keen eye for Chider Sanders. But if you're not going to play Deshaun, you got to show that he has something that can be usable to trade with. And I do think that they're going to start the season training camp with Deshaun Watson trying for the QB1 role. See that he has. We could be completely wrong. He could be a shell of his former self and. Yeah. But I think you got to, you know. Keoni McKeague: It's Dylan Gabriel. Nolan: You gotta approach it with the idea that you're gonna have someone who is considered a veteran from the league, who can play the quarterback, who is a starting quarterback in the league, and just see where he's at post-injury, post-recovery, whatever it is. I think that I moved him only, like that's why he was my lower riser, I only just moved him into tier five, just like just above the backup quarterbacks. Yeah, he wasn't in the conversation. I'm not saying go draft Deshaun Watson. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Wasn't even in the conversation, now he's in the conversation, yeah. Yeah. Nolan: I'm just saying that I do think that they're going to see what he has to begin the season ⁓ because they have him there. Like it doesn't make any sense for the Browns who did a phenomenal draft this year to just kind of whittle away this money because they think that they're going to go with their youth. I think that you owe it to the front office and you owe it to the fans to at least try to see what you have with him. If it's not working out, find a trade, find that or cut him or if he's playing great enough. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah, get kept in happy endings out there. Nolan: Yeah, exactly. Let him know. Let him know how he's feeling everything, you know? Yeah. But yeah, not a lot of stake in it. Keoni McKeague: Get Captain Smalltowel out there. ⁓ I think what you could take away from this conversation is that Cleveland Brown's quarterbacks, whoever ends up starting for them ultimately is going to be a riser because Nolan: Yes, yes. Keoni McKeague: You added way too much weapons to this offense to not be a riser. Yeah, I was like, I'm like quite literally like if you fail in this team's offensive group now, like you're, you trash. I was like, anyway, let's move on to your next big riser. Who do you have on your list? Nolan: to not have someone throw the ball to them. Yeah. I mean, for the most part, it's ⁓ Tyler Schaaf. The Saints QB, they added ⁓ Tyson. So that's. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ Nolan: going to be something really big for this offense because you have a Lave there and now you have a clear wide receiver too once again for a quarterback that showed last season with very little options other than a Lave that he is a great throwing quarterback and can run an offense ⁓ very very efficiently so I think that Tyler Shuck does deserve to be jumping up a little bit more in our rankings let me see where I had him previously ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: Yeah, so I put him now at the top of my tier or bottom of my tier three because I do think that he is going to be someone that can be relied upon for the fantasy aspect of the game, ⁓ especially now that he's going to have someone that once again, same idea with that they had with the Titans. You're bringing in a young receiver to build your young quarterback up with and it can be something very exciting with young ish. He's that covid senior. Yeah, he's a covid senior. But hey, I mean, Keoni McKeague: Youngish. I was like he's like 26 or whatever. Nolan: Experiences experience and I think it showed last season that those extra years did something good for him. So ⁓ Yeah, Tyler Chuck is moving up just a couple spots Keoni McKeague: ⁓ Yeah. bounce off of that one and add in Jordan Tyson. I have him as a riser post draft. think that, I mean, well, one, you know, landing spots, again, we've talked about this many a time that the landing spot makes a big difference. And with Jordan Tyson landing with the Saints, he automatically steps into ⁓ their wide receiver two position. ⁓ He was probably still behind Chris Olave, but they occupy different parts of the field. So that's one of the biggest parts about the two of them playing together. Olave is, more than likely their slot guy with Jordan Tyson being their ex receiver going to be the possession guy. We already know that he's one of the more talented wide receivers in this draft class. It was just a matter of where he ended up landing. I think this ended up being one of the best landing spots he could have gotten. I personally didn't expect it. I kind of thought he might. Nolan: Mm-hmm. I agree. Keoni McKeague: I will one because I didn't think the Saints were actually going to make the pick and two because I really thought he was going to end up somewhere. I don't know, like Philly, which I would have would have hated for him. And I'm really glad that he ended up in a spot where now he gets to grow with the team. This is a team we really, really like and they're improving every single year. So, yeah, Jordan Tyson put him as one of my biggest risers from Post Draft. That's. Nolan: I I don't think I had Tyson anywhere so I gotta agree completely with yeah I did not have him anywhere in my my tiers so I move now I would say I'd move him up to like my tier I'd say tier four bottom maybe top tier five just because I don't know what the offense is gonna look like I don't know how they're gonna use everything is Jawan Johnson still gonna be like that target Hawk Keoni McKeague: Sure, yeah. Nolan: as well. ⁓ So I think that is going to be something that we have to wait and see but I have no issue with moving him up into the tiers now. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Right on. He'll definitely be draftable. Who is your next person on your list? Nolan: Next one, because we left him out during our tier reading because now we have more clarification, ⁓ Travis Hunter has now entered my tiers ⁓ because we had the assumption that he was going to be mainly on the defensive side of the ball. ⁓ Liam Cohen has come out and said that no, he will be a both way player. That has now entered the intriguing part of how they used him last season where he had these great games get you 10 fantasy points game which sometimes as a low draft pick for fantasy that's all you need from your flex. ⁓ So he has entered my tier four nothing crazy because I do want to see yeah I would say bottom of tier four yeah well because of he he had a lasting effect on ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Whoa, from nothing to tier four. Wow, that's still, that's a big jump. Nolan: last season's ⁓ ability right but what the biggest issue is with him last season which will still be a big issue with them is like the amount of route participation that he has because they're going to be using them on both sides it's going to be much more of a you know he's going to be using three receiver sets instead of the two receiver sets which will probably be for jacoby meyers and for btj Keoni McKeague: go. Nolan: We will see if he gets used more but if he Liam Cohen is hard set on using him on both sides of the ball You gotta assume that his route participation is gonna be a lot lower But I can't discredit where he did last season for his efficiency So I'm gonna put him just bottom of tier 4 give him a go later round draft pick if I need one boom Keoni McKeague: I did not have them on my list, but I don't disagree with your points. I they're actually great ⁓ points. I'm scared of that situation in general. yeah, I was like, that's just one that I'm like, ⁓ I don't know. Well, OK, well, I guess moving on to mine. ⁓ This one was, again, if rumors were to be believed, I really thought that they were going to add somebody to. Nolan: Yeah, yeah. All the receivers, I'm scared. Keoni McKeague: truly add some competition to the room, whether that was by trade or by way of drafting. But that is Malik neighbors and the New York for the New York Giants. I had him as somebody that I was fading a little bit just because returning from an injury. The fact that they were talking about trading for like a guy like Brian Thomas Jr. The fact that they were looking at drafting a guy like Cardinal Tate. It was just a lot of factors that were being thrown out there that I was like, I don't know, you know, new regime. new head coach that kind of stuff like is this going to be the guy that they still want as their number one i'm not saying that he's you locked as their number one well let me rephrase that i was like obviously he's their number one but i mean i'm not i'm not saying that this is still going to be like the guy that they're going to build around because you never know you know what mean when a guy comes back from injury who knows what he's going to be ⁓ if you heard him talking during the draft i know they had ⁓ i believe he was on bleacher report with michael parsons ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: the stuff that that kid was saying. Like I was like, first of all, just a little bit of a head case because it one of those things where I was like, I was like, you didn't even you played like one year and then you had like a, you know, I mean, you had this major injury. So I was like, I don't know. He's talking about it like he's like a Hall of Fame player already, which I was just like, all right, well, come. I was like, you pull it back a little bit. But anyway, zero competition added to this wide receiver room. As of right now, they didn't sign anybody. There was a rumor around you want Jennings. He did just. Nolan: It's like, brother, please. Keoni McKeague: signed with the Minnesota Vikings. So again, like they haven't added any real true competition to his room. I know they added Calvin Austin this off season. I did like that addition. They got rid of Wandel Robinson, who was probably his biggest competition in that room. They did draft some wide receiver this year, but a later round wide receiver draft pick that I'm not too concerned about to me. just, he exactly, he, to me, he jumped back into sort of like the where Nolan: Yeah, you're not out putting stock on it. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Probably they had them last year, which was like end of round one, beginning of round two sort of range. ⁓ And I really do like him being in sort of like the middle of tier two conversation. yeah, Malik Neighbors was a big riser for me post draft. Nolan, thoughts? Yeah. Nolan: I agree. ⁓ I mean, I agree. It's kind of the same situation as to why I put Kam Skatobo there. ⁓ The lack of bringing in anything kind of helps rise up for that position, that player specifically. And you can kind of see what ⁓ John Harbaugh is kind of doing over there. He is trying to bolster the defense so that they have great things going on both sides of the field. ⁓ If you look at it from where the Giants were last season, they were a team that I believe lost their fourth quarters where the other teams were just kind of putting up points, were able to kind of take those wins away from them. Bolstering the defense makes the most sense. rely and they did. The Giants did that without Malik neighbors on the field. So I think that now that you're incorporating him back into it, it only means up to the top for them. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Clear runway for that dude, man. I was like, it's going to be... I to... Let's pray that happens. Anyway, Nolan, going over to your next pick, what do got? Nolan: Mm-hmm as long as he comes back healthy like Next one I got is Mekai Lemon. I mean, we already talked about him a little bit here and there, ⁓ but you know, him being drafted by Philly, was a great, once again, a great situation for him to be drafted into. ⁓ He is a great route runner, not necessarily the speediest, but he's got a lot more, ⁓ his footwork is good, his ability to separate is really great. So I think that him being there ⁓ paired up with Devontae Smith is going to be really fun to see. And we've talked about We're going to say it again, AJ Brown most likely is going to be moving. So it clears a runway once again for him to make a difference immediately with how the Philly is going to be incorporating this new OC play calling. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I mean, hopefully he gets if he doesn't get traded, right. We're going to look absolutely silly with some of these. Yeah. What? Go ahead. Nolan: We're gonna look so foolish. ⁓ Breaking news. Not really breaking news. It's more of like, it's about time. ⁓ The Jets have signed running back Breeze Hall to a three-year extension. So Breeze Hall is now stuck with the Jets. I mean, honestly that- Hey. Last- This is a- Now, I would say a last-minute ad. I'm moving Breeze Hall up my rankings. Keoni McKeague: Go ahead. Aja Brown. ⁓ poor Brice Hall. mean, honestly, yeah, they did a lot of improvements, man. A lot of improvements. Nolan: You know, I think that this clearly shows that they want to use him, and Breeze Hall seemingly is now on board. I would say I would probably move him up to the top of tier three until we can see for sure what's going on. But yeah, I think I'm going to move Breeze Hall up. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Honestly, I might move him up to the top or not. Yeah, maybe was somewhere near the top of tier two from where I had him. Yeah, I mean, the way he performed last year and then the fact that this team is just crazy improved from where they were last year. mean, adding in Geno Smith, adding in the receivers that they got in the draft. ⁓ One of them here on this list, guess just to bounce off the same point, Omar Cooper Jr. I had him as a riser. ⁓ For sure, I think he steps into wide receiver too for this team immediately. I know they liked what they had out of Adonai Mitchell last year. I just feel like you put a first round draft pick on Omar Cooper Jr. Nolan: Yeah. At night, yeah. You're doing it for a reason. Keoni McKeague: You know, you're exactly you truly believe in his talent. I really liked him. I thought he was one of those guys that I would have liked the Steelers to look at. But, ⁓ you know, a great player, somebody that I feel like could step in day one and be a be a contributor. So assuming Geno Smith, you know, can. Nolan: Yeah? Return to Geno Smith. Just Seattle Seahawks second year form. Let's go with that. Keoni McKeague: just mid form. We don't even need like MVP conversation. We just need something solid out of him. ⁓ Yeah, wow. Good news for Brice Hall. That's awesome for him. ⁓ Anyway, to bounce off of that though, ⁓ my next big riser coming out of the draft is going to be Zachariah Branch. ⁓ landed with the Atlanta Falcons, somebody that they drafted with high draft stock and somebody who complements what Drake London does very very well. He's not he's not a big-bodied guy He's a smaller receiver probably more in the ilk of a guy like Calvin Austin ⁓ But he is an absolute burner and he is a unit that kid is just a monster You know, but he's only like five nine or five eight something like that ⁓ But even with that said I do really like his fit with this team I think especially when you have a guy like to a talk of my law being your starting quarterback He's the type of player that just matches to Nolan: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: was preference in a wide receiver a lot because I mean he's he's similar in ilk to like a Jalen wattle but smaller obviously can just get out there and catch the ball whenever a tool just launches it somewhere into the stratosphere. Most importantly not a lot of competition with that Atlanta Falcon squad he's somebody that I kind of had not even anywhere near my list and then I put him somewhere near the middle of tier five just because I do like the landing spot. I think he has a clear runway to being a wide receiver to drafted by this new regime. All that sort of stuff has to play out. And they didn't really add anybody of note. mean, Olamide Zaccheaus is probably the biggest name that is on the Atlanta Falcons right now. To me, Zacharod Branch can definitely, you know, outplay him and get into that wide receiver to conversation for this team. They don't have anybody like him paired with Jake London. So I just really, really like his landing spot here. ⁓ He's somebody that I kind of. Nolan: Mm-hmm. You Keoni McKeague: went from not ranking to like, now I my draft kit. So ⁓ that's what I'm gonna put on my rankings specifically. Sorry. Nolan: Yeah, I'm in agreement with that. think that makes the most sense. Especially with the situation is there with Tua. I think it can clearly make a difference, especially because you don't want to over overuse London considering how I don't want to say he's injury prone, but you know, more times than not, he's been sitting out a couple games here and there weeks. Yeah, is. Okay, you're right. Okay. Keoni McKeague: man. He's beast but he's injured. I still believe in him wholeheartedly but I'm just saying we can agree that he's honestly though he's so injury prone I was just let him keep sliding to like round three Nolan: Please man stay healthy. I don't want to know draft you miserable Yeah, you should just totally just drop him down the rankings. Keoni McKeague: Damn it. I keep forgetting you're ahead of me. Well, how did that work out for you last year? Nolan: I mean, we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. ⁓ But yeah, I agree. Keoni McKeague: Nolan looked very depressed last year dressing up. Just put that out there. Every single time you were making your pics, was just like, why are you so sad? Nolan: Because the people I wanted kept getting taken. ⁓ Who knows? Maybe I would have had a worse season if I had gotten the guys that I wanted. So who knows? ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Anyway. got you. Do you still have like large rises or are you kind of going towards the more like trickling guys? Okay, okay, yeah. I was gonna say because my list is also in that same vein right now. So go ahead, who's your next kind of baby riser? Go ahead. Nolan: These are more just kind of like the bits and pieces. Yeah, I got like a handful left. Just like a Yeah, first one I got is Carson Beck. Actually, I'm throwing a little more stock right now. Look, there there's been conversations about reworking ⁓ Jacobi's contract so that he gets paid as a QB one. But the fact that they drafted Carson Beck, who I think is a very sort of serviceable Keoni McKeague: I Or hardly. Yes. Nolan: quarterback coming out of college does say something about where Arizona might be kind of Percept might be kind of just being used on a loner and you might see Beck if there's any struggles at any point during the season, you may see Beck see the field, ⁓ which is going to just I'd moved him up to tier five just as kind of like that backup guy who you might want to just hold and stash ⁓ as the season progresses. I don't know. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: It seems like a really weird situation over in Arizona. We've talked about it. I don't trust anybody in the running back, in the backfield, anything like that. ⁓ This might be another situation to monitor as well. So I'm putting them as a riser, but not saying that you should go out and do it for sure. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. I think in our... in our very specific parameters of super flex with like 15 rounds minimum. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Like he has to at least be in the conversation for somebody that you're looking at as a third quarterback. If you like have the space to hold on to him. Because I agree wholeheartedly. This could end up being a situation where Jacoby has two or three bad games and then we're looking at, OK, let's just plan for the future and, you know, go for that top draft pick next year. So ⁓ I think that in and of itself has Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: to be something where you're like okay Carson Beck is on the radar. ⁓ And to throw another name out there that is also a young QB that could possibly be somebody as that I'm gonna throw into this conversation it's gonna be Will Howard. ⁓ Post draft stuff Nolan: Not Drew Alar? Keoni McKeague: I do like him, but I do think that there's, mean, obviously with the whole, like he's drafted by the regime and all that sort of stuff. I just feel like as far as everything that I've heard out of training camp so far, mean, Will Howard's listed as QB1 over Mason Rudolph and Drew Aller. We'll see if Drew Aller even shows anything of note throughout training camp. If he beats him out, cool, but. Right now it sounds like Will Howard has the keys to the job until we hear what happens with Aaron Rodgers. At least with that being on the table and the fact that Aaron Rodgers is visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend and we'll see if anything comes of that. I'm just putting him in that conversation of like, again, similar to Carson Beck. He's going to be at the end of the rounds. He might be the last pick that I pick up, ⁓ just as somebody to hold onto and see what happens with that situation. Because if Aaron Rodgers doesn't come back, I think he has the keys to being the starter, ⁓ day one. And I mentioned it before, and I'll mention it again to me if he doesn't being the starter. I'm probably more higher on guys like DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman because I do feel like young QB trying to prove it, they're going to just be launching balls even if it means, you know, six or seven or averaging like two interceptions a game. Like, I just feel like that's just the MO of a young QB that's, you know, touted as a gunslinger. I will also point out Will Howard, his comp coming out of college was Josh Allen. So I'm just... that out there. Raw QB, Big Kid, 6'5", 260 or whatever he was. to that. Yeah, actually, that's a good point. I didn't really think about that. Did you just come over there? That was great. That was pretty good. Anyway, let's move on to your next, I guess, Baby Riser. Baby Riser. Nolan: quarterbacks with two first names. I did! Thank you. baby razzer. Next one I got Casey Concepcion. Concep- I don't know how to pronounce it. Concep-tion? Concep-sion? Keoni McKeague: I like how the news just popped up for me so was like breaking news the Jets just re-signed. Like damn my internet is that slow or what's going on? Nolan: Well, I got, was it the, ⁓ I forgot, cause I got the sleeper notification first and then the bleacher report just popped up right now. You got the bleacher report one? Is that why? Yeah. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ gotcha. Maybe that's why. Yeah. I was about to say, was like, wow, geez. I was like, I know I'm in Hawaii. See, that's what I'm talking about. Fantasy experts. He's talking to the GM of the gym. Why is Philly calling? Nah, just joking. Get it? The Mokai lemon call. Nolan: I got insider news everybody. So what I do anyway So one sec, yes, I got it No, but I got Casey because Keoni McKeague: it hurt the Pittsburgh Steelers just started reading it. It's okay. We didn't want you anyway, Makai. Nolan: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you. You But yeah, the Browns we talked about it. They did a fantastic job with their draft, especially with the receivers They got that Casey plus Denzel Boston ⁓ Two receivers who you know, clearly Todd Monkin has made it clear that he has no What's he called? No relationship with the receivers that they currently had on the roster So these two being brought in whether it is gonna be Shadur at the beginning season whether it's gonna be Deshaun Watson Whether it's Dylan Gabriel. I don't know ⁓ These two receivers, now I didn't really put Denzel Boston as a riser, but I guess I'll pair him and KC together. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: I will also say I don't think Dylan Gabriel is going to be on the roster because they did also draft, ⁓ what's his name? Nolan: Yeah, I think. Keoni McKeague: because the NBA version his brother no that's the wrong one I'm thinking of nope that's Jordan Tyson that's the one that has the NBA brother that's Jalen Tyson or whatever else is like no it's a Talon Taylor green or something like that what is his name the quarterback they drafted anyway the really big athletic quarterback pretty sure he's gonna be the number three and Dylan Gabriel is not even gonna be on the roster Nolan: Yeah. Yeah, from the calves. That sucks. Anyways, ⁓ but I do think that these shout out. I do think that this is going to be an interesting way. If you want to look at how you're going to draft these guys, no one drafted Brown receivers last year. It was something that you just kind of picked up off of free agency or at the end of end of your draft, maybe. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Another one. Yeah. Nolan: these two guys are someone that I may reach a little bit for with the idea that there really isn't much other offense coming in that from that from that I guess frontline I guess you could say ⁓ but these would not be my mid reaches these are probably like the end of the end of the mid tier reach ⁓ but I do think that these are gonna be exciting play there yeah they may be gone right not much more to say other than that Keoni McKeague: Yeah. They'll be gone already. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna just second what you said about those two players I do agree with that wholeheartedly ⁓ My hot take wide receiver one and two on this team I think Casey conception steps in his day one wide receiver one and Denzel Boston is day one wide receiver two ⁓ I yeah agree could not agree more about Jerry Judy not being a factor What is the other one? that other guy that they had that was always injured all of last year. ⁓ Goodness. Browns receiver. What is his name? Like that? ⁓ Nolan: Judy Isaiah Bond Cedric Tillman Keoni McKeague: No, no, I said Judy, the other one. Cedric tell me there you go. was like homeboy is always injured There was a lot coming out that he was gonna be like the guy and then he ended up not being so yeah Couldn't agree anymore on those two I'm gonna do a small riser for Deshaun Strepling of the San Francisco 49ers. They drafted him second round pick one so clearly they have Tremendous belief in this kid being a wide receiver talent for them ⁓ I didn't even realize that he's from Kapolei. So, you know shout out to Nolan: Mm-hmm. ⁓ yeah. Keoni McKeague: a Hawaii boy didn't even realize that he played in Hawaii grew up in Hawaii so ⁓ just put him on the radar for me as far as like ⁓ okay my boy he was a bit of a stretch pick supposedly you know a lot of experts had him falling somewhere into like the mid third round ⁓ clearly they believed in him because they traded back multiple times in the first round and ended up this ended up being their first pick Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: in the draft. So the Niners getting him tells me that they believe in the talent. We already know how Kyle Shanahan is when he drafts guy. It's like somebody that he for some reason has this just incredible belief in. ⁓ Outside of Mike Evans and Ricky Pearsall, there's not really anything else on this wide receiver group. ⁓ He's at least somebody that I'm looking at because especially with Ricky Pearsall having injury history and then Mike Evans for the last few years also having injury history. There's a lane for Deshawn struggling to kind of become something of a factor on this team. ⁓ On top of that, mean, very much like a X receiver type of build. anyway, let's move on to your next baby riser. Who do you got? Nolan: I realized, I mean, I guess he's technically a Baby Riser, but I missed him a little earlier. One of my other risers, Josh Downs. I have him moving up. They didn't draft any receivers in this, or notable in this actual most recent draft. Keoni McKeague: Oooh! Yeah. Yeah. Nolan: Also, report just came out. Alec Pierce just did ankle cleanup surgery, so he's going to be out for all of OTAs and hopefully back by training camp, which puts a little bit more stock into Josh Downs. I had him as my tier five. I am moving him up to the middle of tier four just because I do think Alec Pierce is going to start the season as the wide receiver one. But Josh Downs was very dynamic out of the slot. And I do think that he's going to return into it. I think I saw a report the other day, Shane Steichen. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: said that he's going to get a lot more of a step up in his usage, which means I'm assuming he's going to be in the two receiver sets rather than where he was where he only gets all the field on three receiver sets last season. So very exciting for Josh Downs dynasty owners, I guess you could say. ⁓ I do think that he is going to have a big effect this season. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. I did not even have him on my list, but I could not agree anymore. was like, that is actually somebody that I'm going to have to adjust my list around as well, because, yeah, I hadn't thought about that. There will be zero competition for him over there in Indianapolis. ⁓ Moving on to my next baby riser, it's going to be Mike Washington Jr. ⁓ He ended up landing with the Las Vegas Raiders. He's going to be RB2 behind Ashton Gentry. I had him as a baby riser because he wasn't even on the radar. And now he steps into an immediate RB2 role. There's nobody else besides him. to step in and spell Ashton Gentry, especially now that they have ⁓ what is his name came coming over Seattle head coach now what is his goodness Kubiak Clint Kubiak over there. We already know the the history of Kubiak with running backs in Seattle. ⁓ Nolan: To be a. Keoni McKeague: This probably puts a little bit of a spoiler alert kind of situation for my followers category, but ⁓ definitely has Mike Washington jumping up a bit because I do feel like he is. not the same running back as Ashen Gentie. He's very much more of a powerback guy. I do like what he can do, especially in the red zone. So I think that he will be a red zone threat. ⁓ All that being said, him being RB2 with this offense that is going to be figuring things out this year specifically because, you know, Ricky QB and all that sort of stuff. He's at least in the conversation for me. And I think RB2's handcuffs, he's going to be an elite handcuff, I think, if he's, you know, available to you. So Mike Washington Jr. Riser for me. Nolan, who do you got next? Gotcha. I was just about to ask. Nolan: Right on, right on. This is actually my last riser. ⁓ Antonio Williams drafted to the commanders. ⁓ Look, the commanders have a great quarterback. They still are missing some, I guess you could say depth in their running back room. ⁓ But what they did need was a slot receiver to assist with Terry McLaurin. Keoni McKeague: Great pick. Yeah. Nolan: Now they finally got someone who worked well out of the slot during his college career And I think that he's gonna step in immediately and make a difference I'm not gonna say that he's gonna be someone that's gonna go crazy and be your league winner But he is someone that could help you from week to week and maybe win some matchups So Antonio Williams out of the slot moving up to just tier five for me Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I could not agree more. I really do like his fit over there in Washington. Outside of the possibility of them bringing in Brandon Iuke, which is still a situation that needs to get ironed out with San Fran and all that sort of stuff. ⁓ Yeah, really, he has a clear runway to competition. Olamide Zaccheaus is no longer here. So that was probably like the biggest comp next to Terry McLaurin. And of course, Debo is no longer on the team. So we'll see what happens with the team heading. I'm assuming there's going to be maybe not with them, but with some of these other team signing players. Still a lot of, you Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: viable free agents out there from that standpoint. But yeah, I'm gonna throw out a few more. I do have at least a couple more. First and foremost, I'm gonna say the Raiders Receiving Corps. Zero rookies added to this Raiders Receiving Group. We're still waiting to see what happens with some of these free agents. know Joann Jennings was probably their biggest target, no longer available. He's signed with the Minnesota Vikings. And really outside of him, I mean, you're looking at a pretty thin group. I mean, outside of like the Tyree kills, which, you know, still going through his injury. Yeah. Yeah. But I do have them as risers because I realistically, you're. Nolan: You don't believe in Trey Tucker? Who else? Keoni McKeague: You're this is yeah, you don't have anybody else. I mean, I didn't have any of the readers receivers because I really thought they were going to bring in somebody and they didn't bring in anybody outside of them. Making a big time trade, which I guess is still on the board as a possibility because Brian Thomas Jr. You know, I mean, that situation still lingering and that somebody that they talked about possibly bring it in. But outside of that, I mean, yeah, you're you're just going to have Trey Tucker and. Nolan: Yeah? Yeah? Keoni McKeague: Jack Beck, you know what mean? don't even know who, yeah, like realistically. And ⁓ all that being said, I just feel like somebody needs to eventually be wide receiver one. And if I'm betting on a rookie quarterback that I feel like will have the most impact for his team, then obviously it's gonna be ⁓ Fernando Mendoza. And I feel like somebody is gonna be his go-to target. that's. Nolan: It's Brock Bowers. Let's be clear. Keoni McKeague: Well, yeah, his second go-to target. I was like, he's number two. Yeah, okay, number three. Anyway, yeah, so I had them as summarizers being thrown into the conversation here. We already talked about Omar Cooper. was like, Nick Singleton was another player that had somebody I'm gonna keep an eye on. Him landing with the Titans to me. Nolan: action density let's be clear Keoni McKeague: is a really good landing spot for him. ⁓ Again, if Tony Pollard doesn't perform like... Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: You expect him as somebody that they paid and you know brought in to be there RB one. I can't imagine this being a conversation where Robert Salah is like, well, this is the guy I drafted. This is the guy I like. I liked his tape. I'm going to bring him in. So he's at least somebody that's on my radar, probably still at the bottom of tier five. If even they're like a last pick sort of situation, but he's somebody that I'm at least having on my radar. And then going over to some of the tight end guys that I had, had Kenyon Sadiq as a riser, him last. with the Jets to me. think he immediately steps into Titan one. know they ⁓ gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. I know he also grabbed I know they also had Mason Taylor from last year, but I just feel like Nolan: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Spoiler alert for some of my followers. Keoni McKeague: Kenyon Siddiq is the better receiving I mean threat so it's just like I don't know how you can go anywhere else besides Kenyon Siddiq with an offense and then Eli Raritan lining with the New England Patriots I think he has a clear line towards them towards being their new tight end of the future Hunter Henry is there but he's older you know what I mean you're you're gonna want to bring in somebody that can spell him and become the new guy. think Eli Raredin, a lot of comp towards ⁓ Gronkowski, which I feel like is probably just because he landed with the Patriots, but. Nolan: Yeah, I was gonna say, is that? Keoni McKeague: But big body guy who can catch the ball very athletic. think that makes a ton of sense why. And this was a very, very deep tight end class. So ⁓ he was one of the few that landed in a really good spot. There was a lot that landed in terrible spots. ⁓ And we'll get to those probably next week on our father's conversation. But I think that will do it for our list of risers ⁓ post draft. Nolan, do you have anything else you want to throw out to the people at home before we cut this one out? Nolan: my flight for the draft I'm excited! Keoni McKeague: You don't even. You don't even. You don't even. I'm still going to... I don't know. It's funny because I just paid for the cruise in September. That flight's booked and I'm just rearing and ready to go. I cannot wait for the draft this year. It's going be good time. I think it's going to be hopefully just building on the many years of fun we've had over the last couple of drafts. anyway... Nolan: You don't even... Great time. Mm. BANTA BOYS! Keoni McKeague: I will say we are definitely eating before we go. Nolan: Getting a workout in first. Eat cabana. High noon. One tickled pink, just a, one tickled pink. Keoni McKeague: and then high noons at the cabana. Yeah, just to start just to you know, put us in the mood. But after that, we're not drinking those $48 drinks anymore. That was the craziest bill I've ever seen in one sitting. ⁓ Anyway, I think that'll do it. So with that said, it is nope, that's the wrong song. Nolan: And nudes. Just... Keoni McKeague: ⁓ here we go. With that said, it has been a pleasure. It's been a joy from all of us here at Poi and Soy. Bang, bang. Nolan: Good vibes and love everybody.
