- 0:57Speaker 3: Hey.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Hey welcome back to the his high radio podcast i
- 1:03Speaker 2: am your brother i'm your host mr his hop and
- 1:05Speaker 2: you know what we do this is where we go
- 1:08Speaker 2: verse by verse through the word of god together today
- 1:11Speaker 2: we're going to continue in the book of jeremiah chapter
- 1:14Speaker 2: 21 we are about to complete a whole another chapter
- 1:21Speaker 2: praise god for that we are moving through the book
- 1:25Speaker 2: of jeremiah this is one of the biggest books by
- 1:30Speaker 2: a prophet in the Old Testament. So it is a
- 1:33Speaker 2: blessing and an honor to walk this walk with you guys.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And today we're going to pick up in verse 11
- 1:40Speaker 2: all the way through verse 14. So grab your Bibles,
- 1:44Speaker 2: your notepads, and your highlighters so that you can follow
- 1:48Speaker 2: along and take notes and highlight, of course. Now in
- 1:52Speaker 2: our previous verses, we saw King Zedekiah looking to Jeremiah
- 1:57Speaker 2: for an answer from God concerning the Babylonians. Babylon was marching.
- 2:07Speaker 2: They were actually at the gate. They saw destruction. They
- 2:13Speaker 2: saw the judgment. Everything that Jeremiah was prophesying, they saw
- 2:19Speaker 2: it come to pass. You'd think he would have had
- 2:22Speaker 2: a heart to repent or to take heed at least
- 2:26Speaker 2: to the words of the prophet but we're going to
- 2:29Speaker 2: continue to look into the guy's word and see exactly
- 2:34Speaker 2: how he responded but we do know that Jeremiah the
- 2:41Speaker 2: prophet told him the truth faithfully he said that don't
- 2:47Speaker 2: you try to fight against the Babylonians if you want
- 2:51Speaker 2: to live you need to capitulate and We need to
- 2:54Speaker 2: go out and surrender. And they saw that as treason.
- 2:59Speaker 2: And they saw that as, okay, you are demoralizing the
- 3:03Speaker 2: troops to where they don't even want to fight. And
- 3:09Speaker 2: so we're going to get into that. But first, what
- 3:12Speaker 2: I need y'all to do is download the His Hot
- 3:15Speaker 2: Radio app, H-I-S-H-O-P on all platforms. And once you download it,
- 3:20Speaker 2: we need you to log into our live chat because
- 3:23Speaker 2: this is an interactive podcast. We have an accountability partner
- 3:29Speaker 2: segment that we believe will be very beneficial, very valuable
- 3:39Speaker 2: if you follow the instructions in it, right? Because we
- 3:43Speaker 2: all need someone to be held accountable to. Now, if
- 3:48Speaker 2: you don't have someone in your life that can pray
- 3:53Speaker 2: with you, somebody that can give you wise counsel, you
- 3:56Speaker 2: can post right in the live chat and we can
- 4:00Speaker 2: interact there and you can request a follow up. We
- 4:04Speaker 2: do weekly phone calls and, you know, we can do
- 4:09Speaker 2: Zoom calls, whatever needs to be done so that we
- 4:13Speaker 2: can cross that finish line. Because the Bible says that
- 4:17Speaker 2: narrow is the path that leads to life. And there
- 4:20Speaker 2: are only a few that find it. Broad is the
- 4:23Speaker 2: road that leads to destruction. So that should tell us
- 4:26Speaker 2: right there, beloved, that we need to stay on this
- 4:30Speaker 2: narrow path and we need to surround ourselves with people
- 4:34Speaker 2: who are serious about their walk with God. You know,
- 4:38Speaker 2: there's a lot of people who are playing around with
- 4:40Speaker 2: their relationship with the Lord. And there's a lot of
- 4:43Speaker 2: people that are not going to make it. The Bible
- 4:45Speaker 2: says when the Lord returns, one will be taken and
- 4:48Speaker 2: one will be left. That is a 50% ratio. So
- 4:52Speaker 2: look around to the Christians of today, to the church
- 4:56Speaker 2: of today, and then chop off 50% of the people.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That should wake us up. That should be alarming. And
- 5:06Speaker 2: so this is what the accountability partner segment does. It
- 5:09Speaker 2: helps us. Because the Bible says our hearts are evil
- 5:13Speaker 2: and desperately wicked who can know it. So we need
- 5:16Speaker 2: to constantly sow the word of God into our hearts.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And it's good to have a specific thing that we
- 5:23Speaker 2: need to bring before the Lord. And it's good to
- 5:25Speaker 2: get godly counsel. And so that's what we're providing in
- 5:29Speaker 2: the live chat. And also we do our trivia, our
- 5:35Speaker 2: games and all that stuff. So get logged into the
- 5:38Speaker 2: live chat. Once you download the app, hit that top
- 5:43Speaker 2: left menu, hit the drop down. And once it drops down,
- 5:47Speaker 2: click on live chat and register. Hit that register button
- 5:54Speaker 2: and type in your username, your email address, password. Very easy.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And then you're going to do the same thing for
- 6:01Speaker 2: our community. Our community is the same thing as a
- 6:04Speaker 2: live chat, except we're able to do more in our community.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It's in the same place. Go to the top left menu.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Go down a little further. Click on Community. Log into that.
- 6:15Speaker 2: We're able to upload videos, links, pictures. We're able to
- 6:19Speaker 2: do more. There's more of a social network. It's our Discord.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And so we want to definitely get signed up for that.
- 6:30Speaker 2: All right, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we just ask, Lord,
- 6:32Speaker 2: that you'd be with us today. Thank you for allowing
- 6:35Speaker 2: us to get back into your word. Father, your word
- 6:38Speaker 2: says that we need to be in your word daily,
- 6:41Speaker 2: Father God. And thank you, Lord, for the ability to
- 6:43Speaker 2: come on here daily, Father God, and to just examine
- 6:47Speaker 2: your word, talk about it, O God, and share your
- 6:50Speaker 2: word on this podcast. We ask, Lord, that the hearers
- 6:54Speaker 2: will get blessed. We ask, Lord, that lives will be changed,
- 6:57Speaker 2: O God, Lord, and help us to get the message
- 7:00Speaker 2: from the book of Jeremiah. Let us not rebel against
- 7:04Speaker 2: your word or your instruction, O God, But help us,
- 7:07Speaker 2: Lord God, to walk a path of obedience, to stay
- 7:11Speaker 2: on that narrow road. In Jesus name. Amen. All right.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So we're going to jump in to verse 11 today.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And this is a message to the house of David.
- 7:31Speaker 2: If you are a good student of the word of God,
- 7:35Speaker 2: you would know that. God promised a dynasty in the
- 7:40Speaker 2: line of David. As a matter of fact, God promised
- 7:44Speaker 2: that the Messiah would come through his line. That's why
- 7:49Speaker 2: when people, especially in the New Testament, would call him Jesus,
- 7:58Speaker 2: thou son of David, because he kept the dynasty alive
- 8:04Speaker 2: and God promised that his dynasty would last forever. And
- 8:09Speaker 2: of course, that is accomplished through Jesus Christ himself. But
- 8:15Speaker 2: now he also said that if his family members would
- 8:20Speaker 2: go astray from him, that they would be dealt with
- 8:24Speaker 2: as well. So this is what we're going to look
- 8:29Speaker 2: at in 11 through 14. We're only going to go
- 8:33Speaker 2: through four verses today, but they're going to be rich
- 8:37Speaker 2: and powerful verses. So verse 11 and concerning the house
- 8:43Speaker 2: of the King of and concerning the house of the
- 8:48Speaker 2: King of Judah, say, hear the word of the Lord.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Hear the word of the Lord. Now there's a message
- 9:02Speaker 2: begins with in touching the, The house of the king
- 9:06Speaker 2: of Judah say, here is the word of the Lord.
- 9:09Speaker 2: God is specifically addressing the king's household. You know, when
- 9:15Speaker 2: you are in leadership, you are held more accountable for
- 9:22Speaker 2: leading God's people. That's if you're a pastor, a minister, president, kings,
- 9:31Speaker 2: there is more of an accountability here. Now, this message
- 9:37Speaker 2: is not just a simple message for a regular person.
- 9:42Speaker 2: This is a message for a king. So when God
- 9:50Speaker 2: gives you authority, he also gives you responsibility. That reminds
- 9:56Speaker 2: me of was it Spider-Man with great. power comes great responsibility.
- 10:03Speaker 2: That is a very true statement. Now, God's concern wasn't
- 10:10Speaker 2: just merely with Judah's military or the political situation in Judah.
- 10:15Speaker 2: The leaders themselves were accountable to God for how they
- 10:21Speaker 2: govern and how they treated the people under their authority. So, beloved,
- 10:29Speaker 2: it's important who we submit to. Now we, you know,
- 10:33Speaker 2: we barely can, you know, we cannot choose our president
- 10:39Speaker 2: in this country. Now we can vote for our leaders
- 10:43Speaker 2: in this country. And I try my best to vote
- 10:50Speaker 2: for the most righteous candidates because I believe that we
- 10:56Speaker 2: are accountable for our leaders. We will be accountable before God. Now,
- 11:05Speaker 2: voting for the most righteous candidate, I believe is that
- 11:10Speaker 2: we're doing our part to at least try to keep
- 11:14Speaker 2: our country on the right path. But I know a
- 11:17Speaker 2: lot of people in trust me, this is not a
- 11:19Speaker 2: political podcast at all. But a lot of people, if
- 11:23Speaker 2: you choose not to vote or choose not to participate.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I think that we will also be held accountable if
- 11:33Speaker 2: we allow wickedness just to happen. You know what I'm saying?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Like we need to do at least something to try
- 11:41Speaker 2: to detour evil from just running rampant. But yes, God
- 11:48Speaker 2: will judge leaders for how they govern and how they
- 11:56Speaker 2: influence the people who are under the care. He cares
- 12:02Speaker 2: about what we do with the influence that God gives us.
- 12:09Speaker 2: As leaders, this applies to kings, to pastors, to parents. employers,
- 12:15Speaker 2: military leaders, anybody who has influence over other people. Influence
- 12:22Speaker 2: itself is responsibility. Amen. So if God has given you
- 12:31Speaker 2: a platform, that's why even in my ministry, I was
- 12:34Speaker 2: careful about who I would put on the platform. If
- 12:39Speaker 2: you were a babe in Christ, and I knew that
- 12:43Speaker 2: you were just coming up in the Lord, I would
- 12:46Speaker 2: allow you to do open mic, but I wouldn't give
- 12:49Speaker 2: you a featured position right away because that can destroy
- 12:56Speaker 2: you if your character is not ready for that. Verse 12,
- 13:02Speaker 2: O house of David, thus says the Lord, execute judgment
- 13:08Speaker 2: in the morning And deliver him who is plundered out
- 13:13Speaker 2: of the hand of the oppressor. Lest my fury go
- 13:18Speaker 2: forth like fire and burn so that no one can
- 13:23Speaker 2: quench it.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Wow.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Because of the evil of your doings. Amen. Execute judgment
- 13:35Speaker 2: in the morning now. God tells the house of David. Now, basically,
- 13:40Speaker 2: this is leadership. Over the nation. Execute judgment in the
- 13:47Speaker 2: morning and deliver him. That is spoiled out of that
- 13:51Speaker 2: hand of the oppressor. God tells them to do what
- 13:57Speaker 2: is right, basically.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:00Speaker 2: He tells them to protect those who are being oppressed. Right. Now,
- 14:06Speaker 2: think about our country, the United States. We have been
- 14:11Speaker 2: free for years. This is actually 250 years of our
- 14:18Speaker 2: nation being in existence. And we are supposed to be
- 14:24Speaker 2: a free country. But we are starting to see more
- 14:28Speaker 2: and more oppression in this nation because We can just
- 14:33Speaker 2: look at the gas prices. We can just look at
- 14:35Speaker 2: what's going on around us and we can see the
- 14:39Speaker 2: oppression happening. And so he gives them a warning and
- 14:47Speaker 2: he tells them, lest my fury go out like a fire. Remember,
- 14:54Speaker 2: we are supposed to examine the character of God. And
- 14:59Speaker 2: we see here that God gets angry. When people are
- 15:03Speaker 2: being oppressed and people are being taken advantage of, he
- 15:07Speaker 2: takes up the cause of the widow and the fatherless.
- 15:14Speaker 2: In other words, don't keep doing wrong and assume that
- 15:19Speaker 2: God's patience means that God approves of your actions. This
- 15:27Speaker 2: is a powerful lesson right here. Sometimes people confuse God's
- 15:31Speaker 2: patience with his permission. And that's not the case. God
- 15:38Speaker 2: is waiting for us to get it right. Just because
- 15:42Speaker 2: judgment hasn't happened yet doesn't mean God doesn't see what's
- 15:48Speaker 2: happening and what's going on. God sees everything. He sees
- 15:53Speaker 2: all the injustice. He sees all the corruption and God
- 15:59Speaker 2: sees people being mistreated and that doesn't matter where it's at.
- 16:06Speaker 2: It's school, in business, at work, in the family. God
- 16:13Speaker 2: sees it. God sees when someone uses authority to take
- 16:19Speaker 2: advantage of somebody who doesn't have the power to fight back.
- 16:26Speaker 2: He sees those who are in positions of disadvantage. And
- 16:33Speaker 2: God tells these leaders to do what is right. Amen.
- 16:39Speaker 2: How desperate do we need a teaching like this in
- 16:45Speaker 2: our nation right now? Amen. Every person in leadership needs
- 16:50Speaker 2: to read this chapter in our country. Now, this isn't
- 17:01Speaker 2: the first time that we've seen God address injustice, right?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Throughout scripture, God repeatedly commands his people to care for
- 17:11Speaker 2: the vulnerable and to treat each other fairly. He wants
- 17:17Speaker 2: us to be concerned about the poor, the people in
- 17:21Speaker 2: power aren't supposed to use their position to benefit themselves.
- 17:26Speaker 2: While ignoring everybody else, they will be held accountable for that.
- 17:32Speaker 2: They're supposed to protect people. If God is giving you
- 17:39Speaker 2: authority over people, your position isn't supposed to be used
- 17:44Speaker 2: simply for your own benefit in your own selfish gain.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Leadership should serve. That's true leadership. Even in ministry, the
- 17:58Speaker 2: word minister means servant. This is true in business. This
- 18:04Speaker 2: is true in the home. This is true in the community.
- 18:08Speaker 2: If you want to be successful in business, successful in
- 18:12Speaker 2: your career, learn to serve. You're here to serve others. Now,
- 18:19Speaker 2: the question isn't simply what can I get from my position?
- 18:26Speaker 2: The question is, how can I use this position to
- 18:30Speaker 2: help somebody else? We need to pray and ask God,
- 18:35Speaker 2: why did you give me this position? Why did you
- 18:39Speaker 2: give me this responsibility? Amen. Verse 13, behold, I am
- 18:50Speaker 2: against you. Oh, inhabitant of the valley. And rock of
- 18:57Speaker 2: the plain, says the Lord, who say who shall come
- 19:02Speaker 2: down against us or who will enter our dwellings? Verse 13. Now,
- 19:11Speaker 2: God is very poetic. That's one thing I love about
- 19:16Speaker 2: the word about God. He knows how to express himself
- 19:22Speaker 2: in poetry. But let's break this down. I am against
- 19:25Speaker 2: the old inhabitants of the valley. Now, God now addresses Jerusalem.
- 19:33Speaker 2: He's dealt with the leaders. He addresses Jerusalem or the
- 19:39Speaker 2: inhabitants themselves. He describes them as those who dwell in
- 19:44Speaker 2: the valley and rock of the plains. Now, they believed
- 19:52Speaker 2: that they were safe because they had the rocks around them,
- 19:55Speaker 2: that they had a fortified city around them, right? They
- 20:00Speaker 2: looked at Jerusalem and saw walls, buildings, defenses, and strategies
- 20:07Speaker 2: that in strategic locations but God says behold I am
- 20:13Speaker 2: against thee now that's the real danger not Babylon not
- 20:19Speaker 2: his army not even the circumstances God opposes those who
- 20:29Speaker 2: opposes him God's opposition against the city was the true
- 20:34Speaker 2: problem now Jerusalem's physical defenses could not protect the people
- 20:48Speaker 2: from God. Let me say this again. Jerusalem's physical defenses,
- 20:57Speaker 2: even the United States, we have had, I don't know
- 21:01Speaker 2: if it's true today, but we have had the most
- 21:05Speaker 2: powerful army in the world for centuries. But Our nukes
- 21:12Speaker 2: cannot defend us. Our jets, our ships, our Navy, nothing
- 21:23Speaker 2: natural can defend us from God and from God's judgment
- 21:29Speaker 2: and God's wrath. Now they place confidence in their city
- 21:37Speaker 2: and that They were looking in the natural. They're looking
- 21:42Speaker 2: for natural defenses. But no human fortification can protect someone
- 21:50Speaker 2: from divine judgment. Now, that's something that we really need
- 21:59Speaker 2: to remember. We can put our confidence in all kinds
- 22:05Speaker 2: of things, right? We could think money is going to
- 22:07Speaker 2: protect us. We can think a job, a career will
- 22:13Speaker 2: bring us security, a house, our title, our business, or
- 22:19Speaker 2: even a political system or even a ministry. Maybe a
- 22:25Speaker 2: large audience. Maybe if we just grow our audience on
- 22:28Speaker 2: social media and start getting paid, that we will be
- 22:33Speaker 2: protected from the economy or things going on in our nation,
- 22:42Speaker 2: but none of these things can replace God at all.
- 22:47Speaker 2: We can build the strongest walls, right? And we could
- 22:54Speaker 2: be looked at as safe and secure on a worldly standpoint,
- 22:59Speaker 2: but if we're fighting against God, those walls aren't going
- 23:04Speaker 2: to save you. And we're living in a time where
- 23:10Speaker 2: the Antichrist is about to step on the scene. And
- 23:14Speaker 2: a lot of people are going to put their faith
- 23:17Speaker 2: and trust in this leader, this man of perdition, the
- 23:23Speaker 2: man who opposes all that is, that belongs to God,
- 23:28Speaker 2: God and his kingdom. And they're going to think that
- 23:33Speaker 2: they're safe because they took, they have taken the mark
- 23:36Speaker 2: of the beast. This, The leader is going to promise
- 23:39Speaker 2: them prosperity. They're going to promise them a lot of things.
- 23:44Speaker 2: And they're going to see that this man cannot fulfill
- 23:48Speaker 2: his promise. This man cannot protect them. All right. Where
- 23:59Speaker 2: are we at? Verse 14. I mean, verse 13 is
- 24:06Speaker 2: where we're at. Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant
- 24:11Speaker 2: of the valley and the rock of the plain. Oh, actually, no,
- 24:15Speaker 2: we're at verse 14. The last verse of the chapter. Amen.
- 24:23Speaker 2: But I will punish you according to the fruit of
- 24:27Speaker 2: your doing, says the Lord. I will kindle a fire
- 24:31Speaker 2: in its forest and it shall devour all things around it. Now,
- 24:40Speaker 2: I've mentioned that I looked up Jerusalem. I saw some
- 24:48Speaker 2: videos on YouTube where they were archaeologists were doing some
- 24:53Speaker 2: excavation in the city and they found layers of ash.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And so it is true that this city was once
- 25:05Speaker 2: burned to the ground. God burnt this city and his
- 25:11Speaker 2: word came to pass. He says, I will punish you
- 25:14Speaker 2: according to the fruit of your doing. God closes this
- 25:20Speaker 2: passage with this statement right here. I will punish you
- 25:26Speaker 2: according to the fruit of your doing. And if we
- 25:30Speaker 2: know anything about God's word and we study, God is
- 25:33Speaker 2: going to judge every man according to their works. Your judgment,
- 25:40Speaker 2: how you live, your lifestyle, the sin that you choose
- 25:44Speaker 2: to do on a repeated basis, that very sin is
- 25:47Speaker 2: going to be your judgment in eternity. I've seen near-death experiences,
- 25:57Speaker 2: videos that I've watched, and a lot of them say
- 25:59Speaker 2: that hell is very organized. If you were a person
- 26:04Speaker 2: who fell to sexual sin, then there will be sexual punishment.
- 26:09Speaker 2: People are getting raped and sexually molested in hell and
- 26:14Speaker 2: being tormented and tortured. I've heard if it's money that
- 26:19Speaker 2: you fall in love with, people are getting burned inside
- 26:23Speaker 2: of gold and all kind of rich type of things
- 26:27Speaker 2: that we would consider rich, rich and valuable on this earth.
- 26:33Speaker 2: It's like, this is real. According to the fruit of
- 26:36Speaker 2: our doing, this is so powerful. God says he will
- 26:39Speaker 2: judge them according to the fruit of their own actions. Now,
- 26:44Speaker 2: what you plant eventually produces something. Your choices are consequences.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I mean, your choices have consequences and your actions, they
- 26:57Speaker 2: produce fruit. We can't get away with that. We can't
- 27:01Speaker 2: get around that now. That's a principle we see all
- 27:07Speaker 2: throughout Scripture. We can't continually plant seeds of rebellion and
- 27:12Speaker 2: expect a harvest of righteousness. We can't continually mistreat people
- 27:19Speaker 2: and expect God to ignore it. You can't continually compromise
- 27:26Speaker 2: and expect there is no consequences whatsoever. So what are
- 27:32Speaker 2: you producing today? Look at your fruit. If your fruit
- 27:37Speaker 2: is bitterness, examine the root of that. If your fruit
- 27:41Speaker 2: is pride, examine the root of that. If your fruit
- 27:47Speaker 2: is selfishness, examine the root of that. If the fruit
- 27:54Speaker 2: is righteousness, humility, love, and obedience, keep cultivating that fruit.
- 28:00Speaker 2: that fruit tells you something about the tree. Amen. We
- 28:08Speaker 2: become fruitful just by spending time with God, by having
- 28:12Speaker 2: a prayer life, having a time in his word and
- 28:16Speaker 2: tuning into this podcast. Shameless plug.
- 28:20Speaker 3: All right.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So the big lesson is God hold leaders accountable for
- 28:29Speaker 2: Leadership comes with responsibility, so authority isn't just a privilege.
- 28:36Speaker 2: It is a responsibility before God. Also, God cares about justice.
- 28:43Speaker 2: He expects those in power to protect people from oppression.
- 28:53Speaker 2: God's patience doesn't mean that he approves of our bad
- 29:03Speaker 2: and evil actions, right? A delayed judgment isn't necessarily an
- 29:08Speaker 2: absent judgment. You know, just like when we deal with
- 29:13Speaker 2: our children, sometimes we're patient, we warn them, we're patient,
- 29:17Speaker 2: but it gets to the point where we got to
- 29:19Speaker 2: get that belt out and we got to punish them
- 29:24Speaker 2: for continued disobedience, right? Earthly security is temporary. Walls, wealth, position,
- 29:34Speaker 2: influence cannot replace God. our actions produce fruit eventually what
- 29:42Speaker 2: we plant produces a harvest and God examines how we
- 29:49Speaker 2: use our influence the question isn't simply whether we have
- 29:54Speaker 2: influence is what are we doing with that influence? Why
- 30:02Speaker 2: do you desire to build a social media following? Why
- 30:06Speaker 2: do you desire to build a large business or a
- 30:12Speaker 2: large audience or a large church? What will you do
- 30:17Speaker 2: with this influence and the privileges that God has allowed
- 30:24Speaker 2: you to have because the great power comes great responsibility
- 30:34Speaker 2: my family let's take it right you.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Are listening to the light of las vegas this is

- 31:05Speaker 3: I lost. Stay to myself and I fight. Maybe it's

- 32:04Speaker 3: I miss my old friends, but I had to burn
- 32:06Speaker 3: bridges with you. Trust me, I asked God about a
- 32:08Speaker 3: million times why I couldn't keep chilling with you. Trust me,
- 32:10Speaker 3: I asked God about a million times why I had
- 32:12Speaker 3: to be broken this way. Trust me, I asked God
- 32:15Speaker 3: about a million times why I couldn't just focus the same.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Trust me, I asked God why the oil comes from
- 32:19Speaker 3: the breaking. Trust me, I asked God when he chose me,
- 32:23Speaker 3: did he mistake it? I asked God to take his
- 32:26Speaker 3: plan from me, God to keep his hand on me,
- 32:28Speaker 3: God to take me out this place, cause there's some
- 32:30Speaker 3: place that I can be. But you may not understand
- 32:33Speaker 3: what he's doing now, someday you will, uh. May not
- 32:36Speaker 3: understand what he's doing now, but someday you will. I
- 32:39Speaker 3: asked God to take his plan from me, God to
- 32:41Speaker 3: keep his hand on me, God to take me out
- 32:43Speaker 3: this place, cause there's some place that I can be.
- 32:46Speaker 3: But you may not understand what he's doing now, someday
- 32:48Speaker 3: you will, uh. They not understand what he doing now,
- 32:51Speaker 3: but someday you will.
- 33:09Speaker 4: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 33:12Speaker 4: is the HizHop Radio Show.

- 34:09Speaker 2: This is the way. Man, I need to watch it again.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I went, I saw the movie. I
- 34:17Speaker 2: don't know if you saw the movie yet, but I
- 34:19Speaker 2: took the whole family to go see the movie. So yes, yes.
- 34:25Speaker 2: So this is the accountability partner segment. Log in to
- 34:31Speaker 2: the live chat so that you can get to actually
- 34:40Speaker 2: know the accountability. We put it in the community. Yes, yes.
- 34:44Speaker 2: We are in the community. So if you're in a
- 34:46Speaker 2: live chat right now, we need you to move over
- 34:49Speaker 2: to the community, get logged in and registered for that
- 34:52Speaker 2: so that you can get our challenge for today. And
- 34:57Speaker 2: like I said, you know, if you're not able to
- 34:59Speaker 2: call someone, you can post right here in the community
- 35:04Speaker 2: and we can minister to you right then and there.
- 35:08Speaker 2: We don't have a problem with that. Or we can
- 35:10Speaker 2: add you to our weekly call. Our weekly call is
- 35:13Speaker 2: on Mondays right after the podcast. It comes on 11
- 35:17Speaker 2: o'clock Pacific Standard Time. So we appreciate that. And for
- 35:28Speaker 2: the accountability partner, the question is, what kind of fruit
- 35:31Speaker 2: do you see growing from my life right now? So
- 35:37Speaker 2: call your partner or answer these questions in a live chat.
- 35:43Speaker 2: What kind of fruit do you see growing for my
- 35:45Speaker 2: life right now? Is there any area where my actions
- 35:50Speaker 2: aren't matching what I say that I believe? Now, that's
- 35:55Speaker 2: a serious question. Give your accountability partner permission to answer honestly.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Don't be defensive. Just listen to what the spirit is
- 36:08Speaker 2: saying through the people that God has placed around you.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Because accountability isn't about somebody telling you what you want
- 36:16Speaker 2: to hear. It's about helping each other become more like Christ. Amen.
- 36:30Speaker 2: We also want to let you know that His High Radio,
- 36:32Speaker 2: we are a monitored and a reporting radio station. We
- 36:36Speaker 2: don't just play music over the internet. Every time your
- 36:39Speaker 2: song plays... It gets recorded. We send out a report.
- 36:45Speaker 2: So if you need that information, you can get it
- 36:48Speaker 2: off of our report. If you want to become number
- 36:51Speaker 2: one on the charts, consider our promo packages. There's promos
- 36:57Speaker 2: that will help you get more spins and more rotations.
- 37:01Speaker 2: We have new track of the week. We have the
- 37:03Speaker 2: most requested song. We have a lot of ways you
- 37:08Speaker 2: can advertise on the app, on the website. our email network.
- 37:15Speaker 2: If you want to know more, go to our website,
- 37:18Speaker 2: his hot nation.com, or you can find it on our app,
- 37:22Speaker 2: his hot radio on all platforms. Also, we have a
- 37:26Speaker 2: new feature on the app. It is a request, a
- 37:29Speaker 2: feature segment or section, I should say. And so this
- 37:34Speaker 2: is for artists. So what we need you to do
- 37:39Speaker 2: is download the his hot radio app, go to the
- 37:43Speaker 2: top left menu, scroll down until you see request a feature.
- 37:47Speaker 2: And so once you hit the tab, you will see
- 37:52Speaker 2: different artists that you can reach out and message and
- 37:57Speaker 2: request them to feature on your song. And so we
- 38:01Speaker 2: are acting as a connection. We're just trying to hook
- 38:04Speaker 2: you up with other artists. Now, whether they charge you
- 38:07Speaker 2: or not, that's between you and the artist. Some do
- 38:10Speaker 2: it for free. Sometimes Some do it for a payment.
- 38:15Speaker 2: You know how the business goes, but that's just to
- 38:18Speaker 2: connect you to. And if the artist wants to do
- 38:22Speaker 2: a feature, they will reach out to you directly. So
- 38:26Speaker 2: you signed up so people can request that you can
- 38:30Speaker 2: be featured on their song or you can request another
- 38:34Speaker 2: artist to be featured on your song. If that is
- 38:39Speaker 2: what you're interested in. All right, at this time, let's
- 38:44Speaker 2: get ready for the Bible Trivia Challenge. And once again,
- 38:49Speaker 2: head on over to our community where you can read it.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And you're going to need to post it because the
- 38:59Speaker 2: first one to post the correct answer will be the
- 39:04Speaker 2: trivia champion for today. Once again, shout out to our
- 39:09Speaker 2: brother Zone 3 for holding it down. It's all good, brother.
- 39:15Speaker 2: We're just getting more smarter and more educated about God's
- 39:21Speaker 2: word every time we answer these things. So it's definitely
- 39:25Speaker 2: not in vain. It is a very, very fun interview.
- 39:30Speaker 2: and rewarding game. So, all right, here is the question.
- 39:37Speaker 2: What specific action did the Lord command the house of
- 39:41Speaker 2: David to carry out in the morning? And who were
- 39:47Speaker 2: the Who were they commanded to deliver from the hand
- 39:51Speaker 2: of the oppressor? Let me ask you again. What specific
- 39:56Speaker 2: action did the Lord command the house of Judah to
- 40:00Speaker 2: carry out in the morning? And who were they commanded
- 40:05Speaker 2: to deliver from the hand of the oppressor? All right.
- 40:15Speaker 2: All right. Now, we want to give a community shout out.
- 40:24Speaker 2: We want to shout out our community. Kids Hot Radio
- 40:28Speaker 2: is a community radio station. We service the at-risk, the youth,
- 40:33Speaker 2: the young adults. But right now, we want to invite
- 40:39Speaker 2: you to come to Do Little this Saturday, September 12th,
- 40:46Speaker 2: starting from 12 to 3. come to the do little
- 40:50Speaker 2: park we want to connect with y'all we want to
- 40:54Speaker 2: hook up with y'all I will be there on the
- 40:56Speaker 2: ones and twos representing his hot radio as we provide
- 41:02Speaker 2: services for our community so we invite you to come
- 41:10Speaker 2: out we invite you to check us out and If
- 41:16Speaker 2: you want more information about that, go to our website, hishopnation.com.
- 41:22Speaker 2: If you want to volunteer and work with us, if
- 41:24Speaker 2: you want to get a vendor table, we are working
- 41:26Speaker 2: with AT & T. They want to become a vendor
- 41:32Speaker 2: to our events. And so if you like a vendor
- 41:37Speaker 2: table as well, hit us up on our website or
- 41:39Speaker 2: on the app, hishopnation.com or hishopradio on all platforms. And
- 41:46Speaker 2: we can do the thing. You know what I'm saying?
- 41:53Speaker 2: And also, we want to let you know that His
- 41:55Speaker 2: Hot Radio is a non-profit radio station. His Hot Nation
- 42:02Speaker 2: is the actual organization, is the umbrella over everything else
- 42:06Speaker 2: we have. We are 501c3. We are looking for donors
- 42:13Speaker 2: and monthly supporters. So if that's you, we are asking
- 42:20Speaker 2: for your support. We opened a Christian club in 2012,
- 42:26Speaker 2: a 5,000 square foot warehouse. And so we're looking for
- 42:29Speaker 2: even a bigger building, a bigger facility. We have youth
- 42:34Speaker 2: programs that we want to offer to our community. Yes,
- 42:38Speaker 2: if God gives us this position of leadership, once again,
- 42:41Speaker 2: we want to be faithful to the responsibility behind it.
- 42:48Speaker 2: So if you feel that this is good ground to
- 42:50Speaker 2: sow into, you can do so on our website or
- 42:54Speaker 2: on our app. And also you will be able to
- 42:57Speaker 2: write it off on your taxes. Sometimes the deductions make
- 43:02Speaker 2: a great difference when it's tax season. So you can
- 43:10Speaker 2: head on over to do that. That'll have some closing remarks, beloved. Now,
- 43:19Speaker 2: God isn't impressed simply because these people held positions of authority.
- 43:28Speaker 2: He wanted them to do what is right, not just
- 43:32Speaker 2: have a title. He wanted them to protect people from
- 43:40Speaker 2: oppression and he wanted them to, he wanted them, he,
- 43:46Speaker 2: I mean, excuse me, he warned them of their position.
- 43:52Speaker 2: He warned them that their position wouldn't protect them from judgment.
- 43:56Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to get
- 43:58Speaker 2: that out. He has warned them just because you're in
- 44:01Speaker 2: the leadership doesn't mean you are exempt from accountability and judgment. Now,
- 44:08Speaker 2: that's something that we really need to remember. Whatever influence
- 44:16Speaker 2: God has given you, use it wisely. If you're a parent,
- 44:22Speaker 2: lead your children with love. If you're a pastor, serve
- 44:27Speaker 2: your congregation. If you're a business owner, treat people fairly.
- 44:32Speaker 2: If you're a minister, don't use people to build your platform.
- 44:41Speaker 2: If you're an artist, think about what you're putting into
- 44:46Speaker 2: people's hearts. If you have a microphone, remember that somebody
- 44:54Speaker 2: is listening. And if God has given you influence, remember
- 44:59Speaker 2: influence is responsibility. Don't just ask God to increase your platform.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Ask him to increase your character. Don't just ask him
- 45:10Speaker 2: for more followers. Ask him to make you more faithful.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Don't just ask him for success. Ask him to help
- 45:22Speaker 2: you use success correctly when it finally comes. Because one
- 45:29Speaker 2: day we'll all go to give an account for what
- 45:34Speaker 2: we've done. and what God has given us. So let
- 45:39Speaker 2: us make sure the fruit of our lives honors him
- 45:45Speaker 2: above all things. Amen. And remember, it's not about us.
- 45:50Speaker 2: It's all about the Christ in us. God bless.
- 46:07Speaker 4: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 46:10Speaker 4: is the HizHop Radio Show.
