- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the Claymore Become Who You Are podcast, production of the John Paul Two Renewal Center.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: So glad you're back with me.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: As you know, with Claymore, there's this three-step battle plan to understand really what's going on in the world, which is always starts with the human heart, getting your heart back, getting my heart back.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: It always does.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: All good and evil starts in the human heart.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Second one, understand marriage in the family.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: You have to, and how it's connected to Christ and the church.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Marriage in the family, when that breaks down, everything becomes dysfunctional.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: All the people that come into these families become dysfunctional.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: You can't have a civil society.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: All of uh humanity from the very beginning has always come from families.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: This is the family unit.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: When the family unit breaks down, all hell literally breaks loose.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: And then you have this dysfunction of going out in the culture when the human heart's twisted, when marriage and the family's twisted, when God is taken out, the culture gets twisted.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: People start to live uh lives of quiet desperation.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: It's incredible.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Just blown around by the spirit of the age.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: All right, why do I set all that up?
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Because Ben Burkwam, who you may know, he's done an incredible job reporting on the border crisis for many, many years, especially under Biden, where where these where the uh illegal aliens were just allowed to flood in.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: And we have to remember, especially uh in what Ben does so well, is highlighting the human cost of the innocents coming across the border, the innocent people coming across the border, the actual persons trying to find a better life, and how they're taken advantage of and used as pawns in a really evil game.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: And of course, not all of the people that are coming across the border are innocents.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: You know, we have a lot of military age men, millions of them across the border, criminals, thieves, rapists, drug cartel members, ISIS, Chinese Communist Party, ill infiltrators, all dispersed into our communities by the millions, and you see all the violence on the streets.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: It's amazing what's allowed to happen.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: I want to show you a clip from Ben because Ben Burkwam was just out in our area, and an organization that I'm affiliated with brought him into a local church to speak to us about the border, show us what's going on.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: He's been traveling with ICE trying to take these criminals off the streets, and speaking uh plainly that some innocents get caught up in this, the the worst part of this is that this was government fueled, and then the NGOs that uh many of them affiliated with various churches, Catholic churches, Lutheran churches, even uh Jewish uh organizations, to facilitate um these border crossings.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: But what we what they did is they just got paid big money.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: They just brought helped bring these people in.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: They got them right from the cartels, and these these people were raped, um, children were sex trafficked, and they just allowed this to happen.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: I want to play you a clip from Ben.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Uh the clip I want to show you, though, is Ben was getting ready to speak.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: He had about five minutes, and he decides to go outside and talk to some of these people that are protesting.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: So uh people, protesters heard about this.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: They came all around this church.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: It's around it, the the the front of it, especially with where people were parked trying to come in and out.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: And uh and Ben decides to go out there.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: He's fearless, he's really something.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: He's uh amazing uh person.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: So I just want to show you a little bit, and really just to show you the incoherence of of people when you take God out when you've been indoctrinated.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: It's amazing how you just get blown around by the spirit of the age, and you can see Ben trying to talk or trying to dialogue with these uh people.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: This is what we're up against right now.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: They're out here.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we have the pots and pans out yet, but I'm gonna go out and say hello to you on the Hey guys, let me know when I need to be on stage, okay?
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: How are you guys doing?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Welcome out.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: My name's Ben.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I'm speaking.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: I was wondering, I saw some posts, I was wondering if you guys had any questions for me.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: He weeps when we kill babies, he weeps when we break the law, he weeps when we sin.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know about that, but unarmed people.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: I I mean he he weeps when when life is lost for sure.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Do you believe let me ask you, do you believe in Jesus?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Do you believe in Jesus?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Is Jesus your Lord and Savior?
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: If you call Jesus King Jesus, well then I don't believe in you, whatever you call your religion.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Unless you can say Jesus is king and king of my life.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying that.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Do you believe in Jesus?
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: You're holding the sign.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I discount what you said.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: It is sad, it is sad, but what's the solution?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Taxing billionaires.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: What happens?
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: What happens when you run what happens when you run out of billionaires to tax?
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: You know, they just keep they just keep replicating what we need.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So like in in in Russia and in Cuba and in Venezuela, when they taxed all the billionaires and they have no and they have no health care, they have no so you go to Cuba, go to Cuba.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they did, and they did it under communism, under communism, and they murdered most of them.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I'm not.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm not.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Are you are you the one who posed it?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Yes, all right.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: I'm actually not, and I'm not a white supremacist.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Sure, sure.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Look at make America great.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: God bless America.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: All right, anything you guys, anything you guys want to talk about, though.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: Which which illegals do you guys like the best?
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Rapists or people?
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Murderers?
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Which one?
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Which one?
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, so if they're so if they're here, if they're here illegally, two of them are rapists.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Right, but can we deport?
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Let me just common ground.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Can we deport those ones?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Can we deported or not?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Can we deport those?
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Not just ones.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Can we common ground?
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Can we deport the rapists and the murderers?
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, by the rules.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Common ground.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: By the rules.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: By the law.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: That's what I said.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: You can really see from that.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: One girl's complaining about uh insurance taken away, and uh another guy just shooting innocent people.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, I mean, where does this come from?
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Just tax the billionaires.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: And you go, what do you what do you mean just tax the billionaires?
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: And they said there'd be plenty of money for everybody.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: And and this is the propaganda we get into.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: This is what we start to think about.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: You know, that you you could take all the money from the billionaires, and it's gonna fund us for just a little while, and and then what?
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: And just like Ben said, you know, that's what the communists do.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: And most of the billionaires, the Elon Musk of the world, their their billions of dollars are tied up in all of their stock and all the companies that they're they're growing, and each one of those companies employs thousands and thousands with good paying jobs, et cetera, et cetera.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: When when Ben came in, you know, it was very clear we started to just discuss that these protesters, they don't have a deep uh understanding of issues or they don't care.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Some of them were paid agitators.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: There were some Antifa there on the other side you didn't see.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: Some are just naive, but clearly they have no formation.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: They're simply blown around by the spirits of the age.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: They're used like pawns, they're manipulated, you could tell from uh social media, from mainstream media, whatever.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: But this is a very evil game.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: This is not something to play around with.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: When you speak to most of these protesters out there, they're pro-abortion, pro-trans, pro-open borders, all carnage to innocence.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: All of that is carnage to innocent people.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: And Ben brings this up when he came back in to speak.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: It just showed all the the women, most of the women crossing certain sections of our borders were raped.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Uh, he said, and if they were really pretty, they were raped multiple times.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: But everybody was was raped uh when he went down into certain areas of of the border.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Um, everybody was used by cartels.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Cartels got money from every single person coming across.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: And they would hand them over to the NGOs who would basically buy them in essence, take them, and the government was was giving them money to bring them across.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: They lost 300,000 uh uh uh children.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: 300,000 to sex trafficking.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Can you imagine each one of those is uh is a child who's scared, often used and abused.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: When I had J.J.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: Carroll on talking about the southern border, they they had gone in with a a group of uh former uh Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, etc., etc., just on their own, volunteering to go in and rescue and try to find some of these kids, and they did find some of them.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: And he said some of these kids were bleeding from every every orifice in their body.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Uh they were drugged because they were in so much pain, and they didn't want them to yell out when they were being raped and sodomized, et cetera.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: And uh and then they would they would finally just wear those little bodies out, and then they were their organs were sold.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: And and and so this is what we allow to happen, and this is what those people don't see that these these people spend all this money trying to get in here to all of this evil and in the governments too.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: And so, anyways, when you start to talk about all of these things, right?
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: So I'm pro-abortion, I'm pro-trans.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: What is trans?
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're gonna allow kids to be put on sex uh cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Everything that a rational person would be against, they're for, and everything that we would be for, they're against.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Our founding father said, look, it our country was made for a moral and religious people, so that we have just laws, and we have to have laws.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: You can't just have open borders.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: People think that's that's a humanitarian thing.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: What you actually see when you cross the borders is again what I described.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: It's it's utter chaos, especially to the innocents.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: What makes it more tragic is those innocents again are used as human fodder, often fleeing what?
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: A corruptive government, drug cartels, violence, rape, theft in their own countries.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And then they have to come here and they get used and abused again.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: What these protesters and what the students on college campuses are doing is allowing the same immorality, the destruction of the innocents to turn our country into the same mess.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: A cesspool of human suffering that you see in so many of these blue cities already, the homelesses, poverty, middle class has been systematically stripped of their assets by high taxes and high inflation caused by government borrowing from our children and grandchildren, all the taxes that they take every time we turn around.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: You can't stop it because there's so many people that have thrown God out and you lose your reason, you lose your desire to go out and do great things in the world.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: You just become dysfunctional.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: You can barely get through from day to day to day to day.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: So what do we do?
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: We we you know, those of us that have eyes to see and try to push back on these things, uh just try to get they try to shut you down, just like they did there.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: You know, they put people around trying to uh scare people from coming, which which they do over a period of time.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Less and less people come to these types of talks.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: And so what happens?
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: The politicians can can just um bring more and more people in.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: Think about this.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: I I just got back from uh Denver, Colorado, and I had to bring my passport now, my driver's license to go there and and when I got there to to drive.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: When I checked in on the airline, I had to stand in front of a uh a facial scanner.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: And so all of these things, they wanted to know exactly who I was.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: Did I have my passport?
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Do I have this?
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Do I have that?
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: Checking you in.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: And then the same thing when I if you pick up a car, same thing if you want to get a bottle of wine, but yet they don't want you to have IDs to vote.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: These corrupt politicians, you need IDs for everything.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: But to vote for the for the next politician?
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: No, because I want to stay in power.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: I call it the 3S Highway to Nowhere.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: And what is that?
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: Sex, self, and state.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Self, selfishness, and this always starts again in the human heart.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: Gets twisted and distorted, and I become selfish.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: Uh sex, I'm always gonna manipulate people.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: It's sex is is is to express love, is what it's supposed to be like, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: And to perform families, but instead we twist and distort and we use one another, rape, sex trafficking, mutilating kids' bodies with these ridiculous trans um uh ideologies.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Abortion, of course, we're gonna kill the kids, render them sterile if they make it out.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: So, anyways, it goes on and on and on and on.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: And and what happens?
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Again, you know, the the third S, right?
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: So self, twisted heart, marriage in the family, and then you have the state.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: And once the state is is corrupted, once the state is this deep state, and it's just all these human beings with corrupted hearts, sexual desires, lust for money, selfishness.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: And when the government gets full of those types of people, they're gonna push back and manipulate any way they can.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: So Ben uh was called names, uh middle fingers in his face, and and it right right there if I would have kept playing it, but he never lost his temper.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: You hear him he prayed for uh over people before he went back inside.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: He showed uh no fear, uh, smiled when they were calling him names.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: When he came back inside, and and many people could see this out through some of the windows, and they were nervous.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: They started to see all these people start to line up outside, and they knew, you know, as it got darker uh and people were gonna leave at the end of the after the talk, you could see people were a little agitated, but Ben wasn't.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: He, you know, he people naturally uh again were were nervous about their own safety, but Ben was calm and he was extremely generous.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: He came in and he said, Look, it we're called to love even those people out there, despite the vitrol and their intentions to harm me, but uh he was focused on the innocents, the money paid to the cartels who controlled the southern border, the rape of all these women, and he talked about that and he showed um his videos about that.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: The children, again, that were sex trafficked, et cetera, the government that was paying out our tax dollars to the NGOs like Catholic charities, Lutheran charities, et cetera, accepting billions of dollars and distributed these people like meat, literally lost all of those children.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: And so what's the solution?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: The solution is you and I.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: Don't ever get discouraged by this.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: We're called by Jesus Christ to go out into the world and do good in the world.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: And when we don't, when the good people just hold back, as Ed uh Edmund Burke said so well, uh all it takes for evil to come into our culture, to come into our existence, into our own hearts, is when we don't do anything.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: So we live in an age of collapse and confusion.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: That's why Claymore is there.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: That's why we have this apostolate, because the ear humps with false promises, screens are flashing, counterfeit versions of truth, happiness, love.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: The world shouts that pleasure is purpose and that truth is whatever feels right.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: Yet even in this chaos, this is the cool thing.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: A quiet ache is stirring in the hearts of so many of the young people, especially the young men we're meeting, a deep hunger for something more.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: There's incredible women that we're meeting too.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: It's just the numbers are showing that the men they're waking up and saying, What is the truth of things?
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: And so many of the young men are into one of these three categories.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: Men asking, What is the truth of things?
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: and increasingly turning to the church looking for answers.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: That's number one.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Then we're meeting these men living the lives of quiet desperation.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Those people, and and much worse that were standing on those uh lines outside there with Ben, they're trapped in isolation, uh, porn addictions, uh, drug addictions, confusion, deep despair.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: You have to be not afraid to do battle.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: That's why we call this the battle plan.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, anyways, they fall into this despair, depression, anxiety.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: They're put on pills, and it keeps them sedated, and they feel like they have no one or nowhere to go.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: And so that's another reason that we form Claymore so that we can reach out to those people in our own circles that we find.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: You don't have to go out and look for them.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: They're in your own families and things already.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: And then the the third category are are the men we're meeting that were raised in Christian homes who desire a deeper formation, a way to put all of this noise into a lens, a practical framework which to build their lives and to help guide others then that God has placed on their path.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Alongside them stand parents, grandparents, mentors, business people that we know, clergy that we know, friends who sincerely desire to answer Christ's call to what?
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Evangelize.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: Yet they often ask, how?
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: What do we do?
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Where do we even begin?
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: Many of them are ill-formed, searching for something simple, practical, comprehensive, easy to share, a true battle plan.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: So that's where Claymore Militus Christi, Soldiers for Christ, comes from.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: It's a Claymore is a grassroots movement dedicated to rebuilding the city of God.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: Without that, you guys, if we don't put this back together again, we're losing this country very quickly.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: We're on a precipice right now.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: It's not your fault because this has been going on for for decades now, generations now.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: But we just accelerated.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: We've reached this moment where we're just accelerating out.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: And the only force that can push back here is is God Himself.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, we're going to lose our country.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: And I have kids and grandkids, and so we have to fight for that.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: We have to fight for what's true, good, and beautiful.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: You know, the world changes when we shear and pass on what's true, good, and beautiful, especially the beauty of love to the next generation.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: And if we don't, and if we don't live it out, then everything starts to turn to chaos.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Evil comes in and it affects all of us.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: So this is a grassroot movement built and dedicated to rebuilding the city of God by forming men, especially young men spiritually, intellectually, and morally for the battles of our time.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: Now, when you go out to form young men and you start to work the battle plan as an older man, you start to get that formation that maybe you missed, and now you're getting formed at the same time.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: So it's something that uh lifts all of us up.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: At the center of this mission stands the Claymore three-step battle plan, and it always starts again with the human heart.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: You know, the battle begins with the human heart because as Alexander Schnotz-Nietzen said, the line separating good and evil passes not through states, not through classes, uh, uh, not through races, uh, nor even political parties.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: It always starts with the human heart.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: That 3S highway that I that I described before, selfishness, starts right there with the human heart.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: If you can get the human heart right, then you start to treat marriage in the family, our sexuality, and also the state then gets gets filled with people that have great hearts, and it changes everything.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: So it always starts with the human heart.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: You have to restore marriage in the family.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: The family is the foundation of civilization and the primary school of love, virtue, and faith.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: As John Paul II said, the future of humanity passes by way of the family.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: You cannot have countless dysfunctional families, uh, kids growing up out of wedlock, um, in these surrogate homes, same-sex couples.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Uh you know, you you you you you're taking children right out of the mother's womb, and they they never get to meet their mother.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: They're growing up with two men, you know, and you just go, you know, who cares about the child?
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: Nobody.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: Just use again like can't fanon fodder.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: It's just it's it's sad.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: It's really, really sad.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: So we have to get marriage and the family restored.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Look at it, we can just do what we can do.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: We learn it, we pass it on to the next person.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: That's all we're called to do.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: And when you do that, you'll find fulfillment in your heart.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: You'll find Christ coming into your heart.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: And you'll know.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: You'll know the truth of things.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Just like Ben said there.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: I hope I hope you love Jesus.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: I hope you really have a faith in Jesus.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: And then the third thing, once we get our hearts right, marriage and the family right, we reclaim the culture and the nation for Christ.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: This will happen like a ripple, it just goes out because a society built upon shifting sand cannot endure.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: Culture must be rebuilt upon truth, virtue, sacrifice, love.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: You learn that in a family.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: These steps move outward again like ripples in a pond.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: The battle begins with you, extends into your family, community, and ultimately transforms culture, society, and a nation.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: The Claymore Battle Plan outline and the Claymore Battle Plan Handbook provides this formation.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Formation in the simple, practical, and highly accessible format designed to be lived, shared, discussed, and passed on to the next generation.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: You know, there's a real gap in modern formation today.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: Many programs address isolated parts of the problem, but few offer a comprehensive yet simple path forward that men can immediately apply to their lives.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: Women can immediately apply to their lives.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: They can live it and pass it on to others.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: We don't have time for you to have to go look at this in 10 different books and study this.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: And no, we've done all of that for you in the Claymore Battle Plan outline and that you can you can look at for free on our website in the Claymore Battle Plan handbook that fills in all that content.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: You take that in, the two-step process, right?
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: You go to your knees before you look at that phone in the morning, you follow that 10-step uh Claymore morning ritual, especially praying with temptations.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: Remember, that's Act 11 in the handbook, how to do that, and get your heart back.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: That the whole first part of that handbook is about getting the human heart back and then going into marriage and the family and understanding how that process works.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: And then we ripple out into the rest of how to take this back.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: And what you realize is there's no knight in shining armor, guys, that's going to ride in on a great white stallion to rescue you or me or save the next generation.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: But there is a hero in this story, and God is calling you to be that hero, to become who you are and become a catalyst for renewal, to join God in restoring what's true, good and beautiful, especially the beauty of love, beginning on the battlefield of your own heart.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: You'll see this in the Gospels over and over again.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: It's always about the human heart.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: It's always about letting Christ into your heart.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: This is why prayer is so important, because when you when you pray, you get away from that blown around by the spirit of the age and you go deep, deep into the human heart, where only two people uh reside there, you and God.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: And it's amazing what'll happen.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: And now we have the guide.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: So when you get up from there, what does it say?
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: The last thing that you do with the Claymore 10-minute morning ritual is the love to the next person you see.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: You become a person of love.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: As St.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Paul reminds us, we are the ambassadors for Christ.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: That's the only thing that's missing here.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: We've got the blueprint, we've got the outline, we've got the handbook, we know how to do this thing.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: What's missing is you bringing it to the next person.
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: And St.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5.20, we are ambassadors for Christ.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: God making his appeal through us.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: We are his hands.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: This is what we were always supposed to be.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: God chooses to work through everyday heroes, willing to stand up to speak the truth and lead others toward him.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: The battle is going to be won one soul at a time, guys.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: Today a generation of young men is waking up and searching for the truth of things.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: But as Saint Paul says, how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: And how are they to hear him without a preacher?
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: That's Romans 10, 14.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: God has placed some of these young men directly on your path, hasn't he?
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: They're waiting for someone to proclaim the truth with courage, conviction, and love.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: If not you, then who's going to step forward?
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: I'm going to encourage you when you get that handbook, go to Act 23, where it's called Saint John Paul II, a prophet for our time, the power of the person and how to rebuild a culture of life and love.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: You know, in Matthew chapter 20, verse 4, you too go out into my vineyard, Jesus says, you know, brothers and sisters too.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: In part one, we lay the foundation of John Paul's vision and the inspiration behind the Claymore battle plan.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: It always begins again in your own heart with an understanding of God's plan for marriage and the family.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: In part two of the handbook, we build upon that foundation by going out into the vineyard, taking back territory for Christ and rebuilding a culture of life and love.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: That's what we're talking about here.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: John Paul II explained that culture, an eternal nation, exists.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: Because of the people in it.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: Without the people, without good people, there's no good culture, there's no good nation.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: The foundation of culture is ultimately the united body of individual human hearts coming together to form what?
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: Either a culture of life and love and truth or a culture of death, division, falsehood.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: This is the battle that's raging all around us.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: We always say government needs to do this, I need to take money from billionaires, I need to do this.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: No, you got to start in your own heart, guys.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: Every one of those persons outside, every person inside that church would bend, needs to start on their own heart, let Christ into their own heart.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: John Paul II taught that a nation is a great community of men and women united by many bonds, but above all by culture.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: This community possesses a shared history that transcends the life of any one person or any one family.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: It's a shared history and a culture which form the true foundation of any nation.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: This is what happens when you just allow borders to be rushed by different cultures, different people that don't understand who we we are here in the United States, who don't care in many, many cases, who came to just disrupt it in many cases.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm not talking about the innocence now, but there was a time where the borders were closed and controlled, where you say, you know, we want a certain people in here because your heart can go out for everybody, but they have to be able to assimilate here.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: They have to have the beliefs really in God, and they have to be have the beliefs in justice, a beliefs in a dream that says, look, if we're a just country and it starts with me, and I'm gonna form families, and we're going to uh unite ourselves with God, and then we can go out and do good things in the world.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: So today's young people confront a culture in crisis and a nation in decline.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: And at its core, this is a crisis of individual human hearts, hearts formed within society that increasingly rejects God and objective truth.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: Instead, embracing subjective constructions grounded in feelings and personal preferences.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: There is no truth, the culture says, only my truth or your truth.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: While you see where this road leads, just look out to Europe, huh?
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna end here, but just keep aware of all of this.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: Get that Claymore handbook.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: You you know, get that solid foundation and share it with others.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: We can turn this country around, but we don't have a lot of time.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Your future and the future of the young people growing up today depends on what we do today.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: We have to have the guts to be able to do that.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: Hey, God bless you.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: If you have any questions, my email is in the show notes.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Email me, jump on a Zoom call with us, make sure you get our newsletters, go to our website, sign up, and get involved.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: And all that it does it take to get involved, it's you you start to work that Claymore battle plan and then share it with another brother, and then reach out to us, let us know how it's going, huh?
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: We can walk with you.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: But you don't have to have us.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: God is the thing that you have to have.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: Love to do live events in your parish.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: So reach out to us at any time.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: In the meantime, keep up the good work.

- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Read one of those acts a day, and you'll be on your way.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: Hey, God bless you guys.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: Talk to you again soon.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Bye bye.
