- 0:00Speaker 1: The Force will be with you always.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Well, I want to welcome back to the episode of
- 0:19Speaker 2: Star Wars Lines your home on geek Ultimately podcast network
- 0:23Speaker 2: for any and all things Star Wars. I'm your host
- 0:25Speaker 2: was always Katie and joining me is Clay, who just
- 0:29Speaker 2: took the Dragon con quiz.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I almost didn't join you because my computer was being
- 0:37Speaker 3: stupid this morning. Hello everybody, Yes, I just took this
- 0:42Speaker 3: god awful quiz. Holy crap. Okay, So guys, when they
- 0:46Speaker 3: say like, oh, this is the most intense Star Wars
- 0:50Speaker 3: quiz blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, I was like, guys,
- 0:54Speaker 3: it's Star Wars, like chill out. And then I really
- 0:57Speaker 3: started to think about it, and I'm like, there's a
- 1:00Speaker 3: lot of stupid, Like, okay, so not stupid. I'm not
- 1:04Speaker 3: gonna call anybody love exactly. So here's the thing, guys.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Star Wars has this thing about detailing every goddamn thing
- 1:20Speaker 3: in its universe, and the person who has ADHD when
- 1:27Speaker 3: reading these details in novels, literally says, oh, they're describing
- 1:32Speaker 3: the door, skip tube pages, go to the next thing.
- 1:36Speaker 3: It's what I do. Like if somebody spends too long
- 1:39Speaker 3: trying to describe like what day, like Anakin Skywalker is
- 1:43Speaker 3: doing this or like whatever said character is like doing
- 1:46Speaker 3: this task while thinking about the greater plot of the book.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm like, no, I don't care about any of this stuff.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I need to get to the meat and potatoes of
- 1:55Speaker 3: the book. So, especially with the deadlines that we're usually on,
- 1:59Speaker 3: so I just boom, I just fly through these books.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Looking at this fucking quiz was a nightmare.
- 2:12Speaker 2: So tell us your score, Clay.
- 2:14Speaker 3: It was an eighteen out of fifty.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I got a twenty nine out of fifty.
- 2:21Speaker 3: So I will say this I am above average because,
- 2:25Speaker 3: as it says, the average score on last year's test
- 2:30Speaker 3: was seventeen out of fifty. I am above average by
- 2:35Speaker 3: one point. But I am above average.
- 2:38Speaker 2: If it makes you feel better, I think the first
- 2:40Speaker 2: year I took this quiz, I got a thirteen out
- 2:42Speaker 2: of fifty.
- 2:44Speaker 3: That is insane. Now, so we immediately will not immediately
- 2:49Speaker 3: found out. We found out at the very end of
- 2:51Speaker 3: my quiz that these questions were jumbled up for everyone.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So if you are trying to like, hey, what question
- 2:59Speaker 3: are you on? What question am I on? Oh? What
- 3:01Speaker 3: did you do for this? You know answer? Then you
- 3:03Speaker 3: would quickly find out, Hey, your answers don't match mine,
- 3:08Speaker 3: and then you would find out, oh wait, the questions
- 3:10Speaker 3: are all mixed up.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I don't think they were actually, because I told you
- 3:14Speaker 2: that was the fifth question, I thought you would have
- 3:16Speaker 2: problems with which was the last question? So the last
- 3:19Speaker 2: question match up? And then you counted five and got
- 3:23Speaker 2: the which rebel terrorist soeldid in furno squad infiltrate and
- 3:27Speaker 2: destroyed during the Galactic Civil War. Yes, so we might
- 3:31Speaker 2: be good, because I think I was. I was scrolling
- 3:34Speaker 2: down as I figured out what question you've got one?
- 3:36Speaker 3: So I think I hate all of this because I
- 3:40Speaker 3: am looking I am. I am very much somebody who
- 3:44Speaker 3: is process of elimination. That is who I am. It's like,
- 3:49Speaker 3: if I don't know the answer, I'm like, what looks
- 3:51Speaker 3: right and what looks wrong? And so I immediately take
- 3:54Speaker 3: out what looks wrong and I choose the one out
- 3:56Speaker 3: of the two that I think is right. On a
- 3:59Speaker 3: majority of these, I chose the wrong one, and the
- 4:04Speaker 3: other one that I was going to choose was the
- 4:06Speaker 3: right one. I am so mad at myself.
- 4:09Speaker 2: That's what happened to me on my first test. I
- 4:12Speaker 2: literally didn't get a single one right wrong where I
- 4:16Speaker 2: had narrowed it down to the answer I picked or
- 4:19Speaker 2: the correct answer. Yeah, so I did take it again
- 4:24Speaker 2: because I didn't I couldn't find my results from the
- 4:28Speaker 2: first time because I took this a couple of weeks
- 4:29Speaker 2: ago when it first came out. So today's one is
- 4:34Speaker 2: a little bit different because I got a thirty seven
- 4:36Speaker 2: out of fifty, but that's because I remembered some of
- 4:38Speaker 2: the answers, so we're counting my twenty nine out of fifty.
- 4:42Speaker 2: But I can help determine where this information came from
- 4:49Speaker 2: as we go through these. So, okay, so is there
- 4:55Speaker 2: any question in particular?
- 4:57Speaker 3: Okay, so the uh, let's see here. Oh, I'm so stupid,
- 5:07Speaker 3: that is the right answer. I'm just now scrolling through
- 5:09Speaker 3: some So the one that I'm actually kind of pissed
- 5:12Speaker 3: off at is who intentionally crashed off Gideon's former cruiser
- 5:17Speaker 3: into the Imperial base on mandalor killing Gideon and liberating
- 5:21Speaker 3: the planet. I'm so stupid. I chose Bogatan when I
- 5:27Speaker 3: knew it was Axe.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:29Speaker 3: The only problem, like, the only thing is in that
- 5:33Speaker 3: scene there was yeah, and and she's she's actually fighting
- 5:40Speaker 3: alongside freaking uh uh yeah, DN, So I'm stupid for that.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I completely guessed on who was the chief of cyborg
- 5:57Speaker 3: operations at Java's palace. Yep, that I could not even
- 6:01Speaker 3: narrow that one down because I had absolutely no clue.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I believe that was in from a certain point of view,
- 6:08Speaker 2: Return of the Jedi and a New Hope.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Oh okay, okay, so that could have probably helped you
- 6:13Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because that droid has its own story.
- 6:18Speaker 3: So oh that's right. Yeah?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Did you were you curious at the Inferno Squad question?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Did you get that one right?
- 6:27Speaker 3: So Inferno Squad? I got that one wrong. Which rebel
- 6:35Speaker 3: terrorist cell did Inferno Squad and Wiltrait destroyed during the
- 6:39Speaker 3: Galactic Civil War? Should I know this? For one, I.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Believe the rebel terrorist cells being referent or not? Well, yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 2: it technically is a rebel terrors cell to the Empire,
- 6:53Speaker 2: but I believe they're being talked about in the Aftermath
- 6:56Speaker 2: books that we're reading right now vague mentions, and then
- 7:04Speaker 2: Battlefront two Inferno Squad expands on it.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Okay, see, here's a little bit of a tease for
- 7:14Speaker 3: what will be our review of the Aftermath books. We've
- 7:20Speaker 3: already reviewed one. Second one not that much better for
- 7:28Speaker 3: me personally, so it's a little hard to really stay
- 7:32Speaker 3: focused when reading that book. But I'm almost done with this,
- 7:35Speaker 3: so you know that there's that.
- 7:39Speaker 2: No.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I want to go down because I haven't even seen
- 7:41Speaker 3: if I got the the hardest question right.
- 7:47Speaker 2: At the very bottom, the.
- 7:48Speaker 3: One of the very bottom. I'm just gonna I just
- 7:49Speaker 3: want to see if I got it right, because I
- 7:51Speaker 3: told Katie that I have absolutely no reason to know
- 7:55Speaker 3: that answer, and so I had to just guess. So
- 8:00Speaker 3: let's see here, all.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Right, Well, you scroll down there. So the first couple
- 8:04Speaker 2: of questions are from the Accolyte. There are several questions
- 8:08Speaker 2: from the High Republic. I believe it's just phase one
- 8:15Speaker 2: and phase three.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Any from phase two?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, did you get I got it right.
- 8:26Speaker 3: It was a complete guest, but I got it right.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Now.
- 8:28Speaker 3: See here's the problem though, because it was a complete guess,
- 8:33Speaker 3: I have to now absorb this information for next you
- 8:37Speaker 3: can get it right, so that way I can get
- 8:40Speaker 3: it right. Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yeah, me too, because I guessed again the second time.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I didn't remember what the answer was from the first
- 8:52Speaker 2: time around, and I guess and I got it right.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So did you get the three Great Mothers of the
- 9:00Speaker 2: Night sisters from Ahsoka?
- 9:03Speaker 3: No, that was the one that I was kind of
- 9:05Speaker 3: pissed off at because I was dwindling it down to
- 9:09Speaker 3: two choices, and the correct answer was one of the
- 9:13Speaker 3: choices that I was gonna choose, and I chose the
- 9:15Speaker 3: wrong one.
- 9:17Speaker 2: So that is Clawtho, Actra, Paul and laxis Uh and
- 9:23Speaker 2: those you would have only known from the Star Wars
- 9:26Speaker 2: data banks. For each episode, there's a picture of them
- 9:30Speaker 2: and it names the sisters. If you also looked in
- 9:33Speaker 2: the credits, you would see them too.
- 9:36Speaker 3: See this is what I mean. It's the it's the
- 9:39Speaker 3: little specs of dust details that people are like. Oh,
- 9:45Speaker 3: I think people would have to like not blink ever
- 9:49Speaker 3: to get this question right. Let's put that in the test.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So a question that I had no idea about which
- 9:58Speaker 2: Lucra Hulk class worship crashed on Cobo and was repurposed
- 10:03Speaker 2: as a base for the Bedlam Raiders. I didn't know
- 10:06Speaker 2: that one.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I did not know that one either. I had to
- 10:10Speaker 3: guess what was your guess? I guessed conquer, I had guessed.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I guess that one the first time.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Apparently it's uh premacy. Yes, so there is that one.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And the Bedlam Raiders is apparently uh from Jedi Survivor.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Yeah, so this.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Is where you would know that first.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Question cortosis that I was like, thank god, that's the
- 10:51Speaker 3: first question right now, I can at least feel easy
- 10:54Speaker 3: about taking this quiz. So one that I had to
- 11:00Speaker 3: also take a full guest at was uh Archidcu's homeworld.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I don't remember reading this anywhere. Do you know where
- 11:13Speaker 3: it might have been.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I don't know that one either. I had to take
- 11:20Speaker 2: a guess at that one. That was one I got
- 11:26Speaker 2: right the second time around. So Industrial Automaton that was
- 11:35Speaker 2: the company. And let's see they are referenced in Rebels
- 11:43Speaker 2: Galaxies Edge character Encyclopedia's Yeah, it looks to you about it.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Actually it looks like they do get a reference in
- 11:54Speaker 2: the last Jedi. So yeah, I wouldn't have known that
- 12:00Speaker 2: one either. I took a guess. Yes, so the scomplink right,
- 12:06Speaker 2: tell me you got the scomplink right?
- 12:11Speaker 3: Yes? I did get scomplink. I was so there was
- 12:17Speaker 3: the choice of either scomplink or servo driver, And I'm like,
- 12:20Speaker 3: this isn't doctor who not everything needs to be a screwdriver,
- 12:25Speaker 3: so and I felt like scomp was a word that
- 12:28Speaker 3: is used heavily in Star Wars, so I was like,
- 12:32Speaker 3: it has to be scompling, So I'm gonna go ahead
- 12:34Speaker 3: and choose scomplink. So I did get that one, right,
- 12:38Speaker 3: Oh the one that you were laughing at me for.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Uh Skywalker lightsaber? Brother?
- 12:46Speaker 3: What does the Yeah, what does the Twilight word nera
- 12:49Speaker 3: mean in basic? And it means brother, You are correct,
- 12:53Speaker 3: So I do want to look at that one because
- 12:55Speaker 3: I have a feeling that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That one is in Tempest Runner.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Nera the word near it. Okay, okay, okay.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Because because Lorna Dee is betrayed by her brother.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh, that's right, that's right. Yeah, this stupid Anakis Skywalker question.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I was like, it's so stupid. What color lightsaber did
- 13:20Speaker 3: an Anakin Skywalker carried during the Battle of Christophosis? And
- 13:25Speaker 3: I was like, why would he have any other different color?
- 13:31Speaker 3: And then you laughed and I was like, oh shit,
- 13:33Speaker 3: is this a trick question? Of a trick question? Like
- 13:36Speaker 3: am I supposed to double down on not thinking that
- 13:38Speaker 3: it's blue? I was like, no, no, I can't, So
- 13:42Speaker 3: I'm choosing blue. There so the quote of to die
- 13:49Speaker 3: for one's people is a great sacrifice. To live for
- 13:53Speaker 3: ones people aren't even isn't even greater sacrifice. That's one
- 13:59Speaker 3: I thought too much about and I got wrong. Yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 3: So obi Wan is known as a negotiator, and so
- 14:08Speaker 3: when I heard the word negotiate, I was like, oh,
- 14:12Speaker 3: it's got to be obi Wan. So I read too
- 14:14Speaker 3: much into that one and I got it wrong.
- 14:17Speaker 2: No, the towels chieftain is the key word there, okay,
- 14:23Speaker 2: And because that's her first appearance in the Clone Wars
- 14:28Speaker 2: is and makes a name for herself by negotiating with
- 14:32Speaker 2: the towels there.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Because I knew I was gonna get this question wrong,
- 14:39Speaker 3: but I was like, I don't even care, because it's
- 14:41Speaker 3: hilarious if I do, which pear shaped fruit did Anakin
- 14:45Speaker 3: Skywalker take from padame uh Patame's plate using the Force
- 14:50Speaker 3: during their dinner. I just chose a random one, but
- 14:53Speaker 3: I made sure not to choose pay art because you anything,
- 14:59Speaker 3: there's so so many people taking this quiz that was like,
- 15:02Speaker 3: it's a pair. It just chose pair, like, and I'm like,
- 15:06Speaker 3: it's freaking Star Wars. They're not gonna have pairs. It's
- 15:09Speaker 3: gonna be something like Star Wars related and then pair
- 15:13Speaker 3: at the end of the word. That's how they do
- 15:15Speaker 3: these things in this universe.
- 15:17Speaker 2: So, yeah, I got it wrong both times. The correct
- 15:21Speaker 2: answer is a shura. Yeah, I did not read this
- 15:27Speaker 2: question carefully enough because I knew the answer to this question,
- 15:31Speaker 2: and both times I picked the same answer. Which class
- 15:36Speaker 2: of Star Destroyer was the primary capitalship of the Republican
- 15:40Speaker 2: Navy during the Clone Wars? And because I read it
- 15:45Speaker 2: as which Star Destroyer was the primary capital ship of
- 15:48Speaker 2: the republic Navy during the Clone Wars? Which Vigilance is
- 15:53Speaker 2: anakin Skywalker's ship?
- 15:56Speaker 3: I chose Vigilance as well.
- 15:58Speaker 2: The correct answer is Vinatour. Yeah, and if I had
- 16:03Speaker 2: read it correctly and said, oh, there's class in front
- 16:07Speaker 2: of Star Destroyer, I would have gotten that right. But
- 16:10Speaker 2: I failed both times. Yeah, did you get the how
- 16:17Speaker 2: many official forms of lightsaber combat?
- 16:19Speaker 3: That's literally the one I was looking at right now.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Out of the two I was going to choose, I
- 16:27Speaker 3: chose the wrong one. So I told myself it's either
- 16:32Speaker 3: seven or nine. Eleven feels like too many and five
- 16:36Speaker 3: feels like not enough, So I was like, let me
- 16:41Speaker 3: just go with nine. Because I feel like, you know,
- 16:45Speaker 3: even though it says none forbidden, like it didn't necessarily
- 16:49Speaker 3: keep out like secret styles or anything like that, and
- 16:53Speaker 3: I know that they would probably be cheeky and be like, oh,
- 16:55Speaker 3: here's some secret styles that you probably don't know about.
- 16:59Speaker 3: So I chose nine. That is clearly the wrong answer.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Uh so, yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 2: So Form seven is the double lightsaber combat and then
- 17:12Speaker 2: so that's kind of how you that's always how I've
- 17:16Speaker 2: remembered is that's the last one because that's like a
- 17:20Speaker 2: more aggressive style of lightsaber combat. So it's one of
- 17:25Speaker 2: the last that was added because it's so rare to
- 17:29Speaker 2: do that within the Jedi Order. The unofficial Form eight
- 17:35Speaker 2: is Mace Window's style of combat, and that is the
- 17:44Speaker 2: vapid style of combat, and it is the most aggressive
- 17:51Speaker 2: all which is why it's unofficial, but Mace Woindow continues.
- 17:54Speaker 3: To use it.
- 17:58Speaker 2: That's well, no, I can't say we're not gonna we're
- 18:00Speaker 2: not gonna say that. Any other question that you were like,
- 18:10Speaker 2: where the heck is this from?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yes, so there was where was it?
- 18:25Speaker 2: Naper Rar was the headquarters of the Expansionary Defense Fleet,
- 18:30Speaker 2: And you haven't read any of those books, so you
- 18:32Speaker 2: wouldn't know that.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Which which question? Was it?
- 18:36Speaker 2: The planet Naperar?
- 18:43Speaker 3: See here the planet?
- 18:48Speaker 2: It's two questions about the lightsaber combat one.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Oh shoot, okay, hold on, let's go back to that one.
- 18:54Speaker 3: One Two? What is notable about the Oh? Yeah, yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I took a guess and I got it right. Yes, yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 3: which is surprising. So for me, I am a very
- 19:13Speaker 3: simpleton of hey win in doubt, see your way out.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I guess it's always C. But from time to time,
- 19:22Speaker 3: if I know C is clearly not the answer, then
- 19:24Speaker 3: I have to guess something else. And where? On this
- 19:31Speaker 3: one it says it is where Eggan Colore went into
- 19:36Speaker 3: hiding after Order sixty six. I was like, that doesn't
- 19:38Speaker 3: sound right. I don't even know who that is, so
- 19:40Speaker 3: I'm going to choose something else.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I think that's the Jedi who Vader hunts in Charles
- 19:48Speaker 2: Soul's run.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Uh okay, okay.
- 19:52Speaker 2: So that's that was how I was able to rule
- 19:55Speaker 2: that one out. And I knew it wasn't a shipyard.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I got what other ones? Did I get wrong? Oh?
- 20:06Speaker 3: The blaster model from Queen's Well, what did you say?
- 20:16Speaker 3: The where was wrong?
- 20:17Speaker 2: I believe it's Queen's. I think it's Queen's Shadow, but
- 20:22Speaker 2: it also might be Queen's Peril, which both books you
- 20:24Speaker 2: have not read.
- 20:25Speaker 3: So this was actually one that I chose two different
- 20:29Speaker 3: answers that could have been the correct answer, of course,
- 20:32Speaker 3: and both of them are wrong. I was either going
- 20:35Speaker 3: to say the CR two heavy blaster pistol or the
- 20:39Speaker 3: DC seventeen hand blaster. These were both wrong, and it
- 20:44Speaker 3: is the S five blaster pistol that is the correct model.
- 20:49Speaker 3: And I was getting pissed off. I was like, I
- 20:51Speaker 3: didn't even know that we needed to be an armorer
- 20:53Speaker 3: to understand the fandom books our wars here. That's absolutely ridiculous.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I'm a little upset at myself for I must have misclicked,
- 21:05Speaker 3: because I feel like I knew I knew this one.
- 21:08Speaker 3: There's no reason why I shouldn't know this one, and
- 21:11Speaker 3: that's why I'm naming this a mis click. And I
- 21:13Speaker 3: did know this one. What was the nickname of the
- 21:16Speaker 3: Arc Pulse Generator the super Weapons of Being Wren designed
- 21:20Speaker 3: for the Empire while studying at the Imperal Imperial Academy.
- 21:25Speaker 3: This was the opener for season three. Uh, it's the Duchess,
- 21:31Speaker 3: Like that's that's what it is. I don't know why
- 21:35Speaker 3: I clicked Harvester. Harvester is literally the one right below it,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and I think it was just a mis click. This
- 21:43Speaker 3: one I got wrong, and it was the The other
- 21:47Speaker 3: choice that I was going to choose was correct, and
- 21:50Speaker 3: you even said, hey, you should know this one. What
- 21:53Speaker 3: is the position? What position did Ruu hold in the
- 21:57Speaker 3: Jedi Temple on Banshee at the time of the crisis.
- 22:01Speaker 3: These are the mangas that we are covering over on
- 22:05Speaker 3: the shows as well. I couldn't remember who Ruru was,
- 22:09Speaker 3: and I think that's what got me mixed up with like, oh,
- 22:12Speaker 3: you know what is the actual answer? H Ruru is
- 22:16Speaker 3: the Archivist, not the gate Master that I clicked. So
- 22:23Speaker 3: got that one wrong.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So I had to guess it this one. And the
- 22:30Speaker 2: only reason I got this one right is because the
- 22:35Speaker 2: other three didn't make any sense as a official Jedi positions.
- 22:41Speaker 2: But I knew archivist was a position from the Living
- 22:46Speaker 2: Force novel. Oh, so that's why I picked archivist. There, Okay,
- 22:56Speaker 2: did you get the year Anakin Skywalker was born?
- 23:00Speaker 3: No, I'm looking at that right now. Again. This is
- 23:05Speaker 3: the uh, the theme of this test. Choose to choose
- 23:11Speaker 3: the wrong answer. My choices were forty one BBY or
- 23:18Speaker 3: forty three BBY, and I chose forty three BBY. The
- 23:22Speaker 3: correct answer is forty one by yes.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And so when I did this the first time around,
- 23:29Speaker 2: I picked thirty nine BBY. But that's because I could
- 23:33Speaker 2: not remember if the Phantom menace took place in thirty
- 23:36Speaker 2: BBY or thirty two BBY and I knew Anakin was
- 23:40Speaker 2: nine years old.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Here's the problem. Okay, if you guys have been listening
- 23:47Speaker 3: since I've been on this show, every single time a
- 23:52Speaker 3: question comes up about the timeline, I say, hey, Katie,
- 23:58Speaker 3: does this sound right? Or I say, hey, Katie, what
- 24:02Speaker 3: time did this event take place in the timeline? And
- 24:07Speaker 3: then you name a whole bunch of a b Y
- 24:09Speaker 3: and bby and I'm like sure, And that's just how
- 24:12Speaker 3: we roll on this show. So when you give me
- 24:15Speaker 3: the opportunity to say, hey, we're gonna see how much
- 24:19Speaker 3: knowledge you have of this timeline. If you give me
- 24:22Speaker 3: an events in order, I can definitely tell you, hey,
- 24:26Speaker 3: that came first, that came second, so on and so forth.
- 24:29Speaker 3: But when you give me actual dates, not a chance,
- 24:34Speaker 3: Not a chance, Nope, not a chance.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Let me see is there any other ones? I think
- 24:45Speaker 2: that's about it. Those are like the biggest ones. Polist
- 24:49Speaker 2: Massions is Clone Wars season six. That's how you kind
- 24:54Speaker 2: of figure that out there.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I did get my one of my favorite books from
- 25:03Speaker 3: last year correct, Thank goodness. I felt like I was like, oh,
- 25:06Speaker 3: I got I hope I got this question right? What
- 25:09Speaker 3: title did Jedi Knight? Is kat a chorus take upon
- 25:13Speaker 3: joining the Imperial Inquisitors. It is the thirteenth Sister.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I got that one right, And the only reason I
- 25:21Speaker 2: remember that is because lucky number thirteen. That's my favorite.
- 25:29Speaker 2: But yeah, Clay Will, that's basically it from this quiz, I.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Think, right, yeah, yeah, we uh, we will do this.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I think this will be a fun little thing that
- 25:40Speaker 3: we do every year. Now. I will try and get
- 25:43Speaker 3: higher and higher each and every year. Don't know if
- 25:47Speaker 3: that'll happen. I think I'm satisfied with being above average
- 25:51Speaker 3: right now. But that's just how you tied.
- 25:55Speaker 2: You tied with my sister, and you tied with Matt.
- 25:58Speaker 3: So oh he shared the results with you, he did.
- 26:04Speaker 2: He texted me nice, he said. Lots of recent shows
- 26:09Speaker 2: and higher Republic stuff, though, which is interesting. Those are
- 26:12Speaker 2: probably the ones I got right because he read the
- 26:15Speaker 2: first Phase one High Republic comic, so he kind of
- 26:19Speaker 2: knows a little bit in that regard, and he said
- 26:22Speaker 2: probably over half were guesses, which it's totally fair. I'm
- 26:27Speaker 2: super proud of myself. My score is slowly gone up
- 26:30Speaker 2: every time I've taken this, because I think last year
- 26:32Speaker 2: I got like a twenty one. In the year before
- 26:34Speaker 2: that was the thirteen, and then this year I got
- 26:36Speaker 2: a twenty nine. So I'm like, we're gonna keep racing
- 26:39Speaker 2: the bar. Of course, I have made up my goal
- 26:44Speaker 2: to go to Dragon Con next year because it is
- 26:47Speaker 2: in Georgia, so I could potentially go next year, So
- 26:50Speaker 2: we'll see how that goes. But we're going to transition
- 26:56Speaker 2: over to our main topic of the episode, which is
- 27:02Speaker 2: Lego Star Wars Rebuild the Galaxy. All right, y'all, we
- 27:06Speaker 2: are going to hit our first ad break and we
- 27:08Speaker 2: will be right back in three two one. All right, y'all.
- 27:13Speaker 2: We are going to tie in to the new mini
- 27:17Speaker 2: series on Disney Plus. It came out on September thirteenth.
- 27:22Speaker 2: For recording this on September fifteenth, so a little bit
- 27:24Speaker 2: in advance. But I have to travel and whatnot. So
- 27:29Speaker 2: we're getting this out of the way so you guys
- 27:31Speaker 2: can still have an episode. Well not out of the way.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I really enjoyed this. The Rebuild Galaxy, y'all, Okay, whatever.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I had a blast watching this.
- 27:43Speaker 3: This made me want to play Lego Star Wars again.
- 27:48Speaker 3: This was very, very fun, very silly. We've talked about
- 27:52Speaker 3: this time and time again about how clever Star Wars
- 27:58Speaker 3: and Lego can be, not only with the jokes, but
- 28:01Speaker 3: with the animation and everything else and the concepts that
- 28:07Speaker 3: they took with this mini series. This four episode mini
- 28:11Speaker 3: series with Force Builders is so fun. It's a magazing
- 28:22Speaker 3: It's so simple, but yet it bloom my freaking mind
- 28:28Speaker 3: when they explain it, and it's like, this is so cool,
- 28:31Speaker 3: Like this is so fun, the idea of Force Builders.
- 28:38Speaker 3: It gives an actual reason to why there's Legos in
- 28:47Speaker 3: the world.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I I don't know.
- 28:50Speaker 3: And not only that, the really fun thing about Legos
- 28:54Speaker 3: is that, like and many of the collectors can tell
- 28:58Speaker 3: you that just because you buy a Giant Death Star Lego,
- 29:08Speaker 3: right even though it's the most expensive freaking Lego piece
- 29:12Speaker 3: out there for Star Wars and you wouldn't want to
- 29:15Speaker 3: do this, but you could take every piece of the
- 29:19Speaker 3: death Star like layout and build something completely different with it.
- 29:25Speaker 3: You don't have to build the death Star, but all
- 29:28Speaker 3: of those pieces together make a death Star. And here
- 29:33Speaker 3: it shows you like, hey, you have these ships and
- 29:39Speaker 3: these tools and all of these different things, but we
- 29:42Speaker 3: can make so much more. And there's a moment where
- 29:47Speaker 3: our lead character known as Sig meets Jedi Bob and
- 29:58Speaker 3: they at one point I think it was episode three,
- 30:03Speaker 3: maybe even episode four, I can't remember what it was,
- 30:06Speaker 3: they jump out into space and then force build ships
- 30:15Speaker 3: around them, and I'm like, that is so flip and cool,
- 30:21Speaker 3: like that is that is so good? That's so great,
- 30:24Speaker 3: So I love that idea. Then there was a moment
- 30:27Speaker 3: to like really show you, like the ability of the
- 30:31Speaker 3: force builders is in the second episode, Jedi Bob with
- 30:38Speaker 3: Sig and what was her name? Her name was yes Sie.
- 30:45Speaker 3: So Sig, Yesie and and Bob were in some sort
- 30:49Speaker 3: of ship. They were falling and they're like, well, what
- 30:51Speaker 3: do we do now? And he reconstructed the ship to
- 30:57Speaker 3: be a walker and so it had legs and then
- 31:00Speaker 3: it was walking and then she's like, Okay, we're running
- 31:03Speaker 3: out of ground. What do we do? He's like, oh,
- 31:04Speaker 3: just keep going, it's all good. And then like the
- 31:07Speaker 3: legs come out from under it and like reforms and
- 31:10Speaker 3: then it has boosters and then it becomes a ship again.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, that is so cool. It's again.
- 31:17Speaker 3: It is a very simple concept, like it's it's nothing amazing,
- 31:21Speaker 3: but it's amazing, Like it's so fun.
- 31:26Speaker 2: It's such a blast, and the whole thing is probably
- 31:30Speaker 2: I think each episode was like twenty five minutes. Yes,
- 31:35Speaker 2: so the whole thing is like an hour twenty minutes
- 31:38Speaker 2: and it's the bomb diggity, Like I had such a
- 31:42Speaker 2: blast the whole Basically a lot of the cast returns. Uh,
- 31:48Speaker 2: because you've got Naomi Aki as Jenna, she returns, Dee
- 31:53Speaker 2: Bradley Baker comes in for Wickett and Darth Knubs, Anthony
- 31:58Speaker 2: Daniels is here for Bounty Hunter C three p O.
- 32:03Speaker 2: And then okay, so let's see you have tran Is
- 32:07Speaker 2: Darth Rose, Billy d Williams is the Landalorian, which we're
- 32:11Speaker 2: gonna talk about that. Uh, Sam Whitwer as mal Mark
- 32:16Speaker 2: Hamill hamil Luke Skuwalker and I'm a best as Darth
- 32:20Speaker 2: Geargeard tell me that's not like a guest. They're all
- 32:24Speaker 2: guest characters pretty much like they're not the main cast.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Mm hmm, but like, come on, like even these actors know,
- 32:32Speaker 2: you know what, this is gonna be a bunch of fun,
- 32:34Speaker 2: Like I'm gonna have a clast.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, and the the concept of this mini series,
- 32:41Speaker 3: let's go ahead and get that out of the way
- 32:43Speaker 3: as well. So you meet the two, you meet the
- 32:46Speaker 3: main character, possibly two main characters with Sig and Dev.
- 32:50Speaker 3: They are brothers and.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Lad by Gayton Matarzo who is Stranger Stranger Thing Fame,
- 33:00Speaker 2: and of course Dev is Tony Revol, Laurie Revel, Riie Revel,
- 33:06Speaker 2: Larry Uh.
- 33:09Speaker 3: He is Flash Thompson from Uh spider Man, the Spider
- 33:15Speaker 3: Man Trilogy from the mc U. Now, the really cool
- 33:21Speaker 3: thing is that Sigg is kind of obsessed with the
- 33:24Speaker 3: greater stories of the Star Wars galaxy that we all love.
- 33:28Speaker 3: He knows the entire history. He knows from Anakin being
- 33:33Speaker 3: a slave turned you know, being you know, inevitably being
- 33:37Speaker 3: the most feared Sith ever. And he knows about Pappine,
- 33:42Speaker 3: he knows about Luke Skywalker and the rebellion, and then
- 33:46Speaker 3: about Ray and all this stuff. Right, He knows all
- 33:49Speaker 3: of it. Technically, this is one of our first post
- 33:54Speaker 3: stories of of the sequel trilogy on screen. Yeah, technically
- 34:02Speaker 3: this is after the fact because he also talks about
- 34:04Speaker 3: how Palpatine returned and all of that stuff.
- 34:08Speaker 2: So and raise the Skywalker somehow kind.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Of like and that's I think it's these are the
- 34:15Speaker 3: things about Star Wars that we can laugh about because
- 34:22Speaker 3: it's silly. It's oh, this is a joke that everybody
- 34:25Speaker 3: made on the internet, so we can make a joke
- 34:28Speaker 3: about it here and make it play very well. So
- 34:33Speaker 3: like when he says, oh, and raise kind of a Skywalker. Oh,
- 34:37Speaker 3: and Luke Skywalker is like grumpy now cool. It's like
- 34:41Speaker 3: like these little things that because even there's even a
- 34:44Speaker 3: moment where we meet a Luke Skywalker and we'll talk
- 34:47Speaker 3: about the reason why he's not the Luke Skywalker. He
- 34:51Speaker 3: meets Skywalker. Oh, go ahead, I want to correct that.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I think most of the lego Star Wars movie have
- 35:00Speaker 2: been posts sequel trilogy so well.
- 35:05Speaker 3: That that is true. That is true because they do
- 35:07Speaker 3: involve Ray and and everybody else. That very very true.
- 35:13Speaker 3: But we meet a Luke Skywalker and he he talks
- 35:20Speaker 3: about like, wait, are you saying that your Luke Skywalker
- 35:24Speaker 3: used the force so hard that it killed him. Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 3: I'm not gonna be that Luke Skywalker. So again it's
- 35:33Speaker 3: it's it's these things that have become a little bit
- 35:36Speaker 3: of a controversy in our real life. But Leo can
- 35:39Speaker 3: pull it off as being silly or fun and whatnot,
- 35:42Speaker 3: and it works very very well. But in this story,
- 35:48Speaker 3: Sigg is a force user and he's actually been a
- 35:53Speaker 3: force user for from what he tells his brother years.
- 35:58Speaker 3: I thought what he was gonna say, like, oh, a
- 36:00Speaker 3: couple of days, I found out. No, he's like a
- 36:03Speaker 3: couple of years, you know, just something that I knew
- 36:06Speaker 3: and dah dah. But he is not the type of
- 36:09Speaker 3: individual to be like, hey, I'm gonna flaunt it about.
- 36:14Speaker 3: I'm gonna do this, that and the other. Where Dev
- 36:17Speaker 3: is like, dude, if I was you know, hey I
- 36:19Speaker 3: have the Force, Hey, you know telling everybody blah blah lah.
- 36:22Speaker 3: But we learn about this concept of the cornerstone, which
- 36:29Speaker 3: it's all clever, it's so fun, it's so clever. But
- 36:34Speaker 3: there is a cornerstone in this random Jedi abandoned temple,
- 36:40Speaker 3: and they take it because Sig is getting so upset
- 36:45Speaker 3: with his brother. It's like, hey, if you want to
- 36:46Speaker 3: have this amazing life that you think I can have
- 36:49Speaker 3: as a Force user, here you take this blah blah blah.
- 36:53Speaker 3: And apparently that cornerstone what was keeping the entire galaxy together,
- 36:58Speaker 3: because as we said, there are things called force builders,
- 37:02Speaker 3: but there are also force destroyers, bakers, force breakers. Yes,
- 37:12Speaker 3: so just like Jedi and Sith, there are builders and breakers,
- 37:17Speaker 3: and the cornerstone was essentially the only thing holding the
- 37:26Speaker 3: force breakers YEA from basically destroying the universe and rebuilding
- 37:33Speaker 3: it in their image or whatnot. So that is why
- 37:36Speaker 3: everything becomes jumbled. I think the funniest joke in this
- 37:44Speaker 3: whole thing is the Clone Troopers. They are no law
- 37:50Speaker 3: tones of Bubba Fett, they are clones of Admiral Akbar.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I did roll my eyes with the introduction of the
- 38:01Speaker 3: Clone Acbar Army because every single one of them just
- 38:05Speaker 3: pops about a knower. It's a trap. It's a trap.
- 38:07Speaker 3: It's a trap. It's a trap. And I was like, okay, guys,
- 38:11Speaker 3: Like after the sixth one, I was like, is this
- 38:14Speaker 3: gonna happen ten more times? Jesus Christ? But it was fun.
- 38:19Speaker 3: I think it was very, very clever fun We learned
- 38:27Speaker 3: that this is SIG's time to be the hero that
- 38:33Speaker 3: he's talked about with all these other people, right yeah,
- 38:37Speaker 3: because that was a big thing with Dev, his brother.
- 38:40Speaker 3: It's like, hey, you know about all of these different
- 38:43Speaker 3: stories of doing this, that and the other, but like,
- 38:47Speaker 3: we don't go on our own adventures. We're just stuck
- 38:49Speaker 3: here being nerf hurders.
- 38:53Speaker 4: And that love that by the way, they said you
- 38:58Speaker 4: scruffy look a nerf hurder, Like, hey, that's our job, Like,
- 39:02Speaker 4: don't like yell me about.
- 39:04Speaker 3: That, which I think is so funny. So again, as
- 39:07Speaker 3: somebody who is in the Star Wars fandom but doesn't
- 39:11Speaker 3: know everything about the Star Wars fandom, never did I
- 39:16Speaker 3: ever think that the phrase nerve herder actually meet meant
- 39:23Speaker 3: herder of nerves. Never did I ever think that. So
- 39:28Speaker 3: when Dev comes up to sing and be like, hey,
- 39:30Speaker 3: you scarffy a little nerf herder, I was like, oh,
- 39:33Speaker 3: he's saying the thing that Lea did, ha ha, And
- 39:37Speaker 3: like even Sig gets kind of like, hey, don't call
- 39:39Speaker 3: me that, and Dev says, well, that's what we all
- 39:43Speaker 3: are like, And then you see the nerves all around
- 39:45Speaker 3: them and they heard them. I was like, oh, okay,
- 39:48Speaker 3: that's funny, that's clever. But yeah, we get to, like
- 39:54Speaker 3: Katie said, we meet Luke Skywalker, we meet Princess Leah,
- 40:00Speaker 3: we see Hans Solo, Leia and Grito are a thing
- 40:07Speaker 3: because because he shot his shot first, which I thought
- 40:12Speaker 3: was so good.
- 40:16Speaker 5: There was that there was oh gosh, there was so
- 40:20Speaker 5: much all white Vader, yes thing.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Like that's like the lego figure, like oh Vader resurrected. Yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 2: and then like Jedi Bob is based on a random
- 40:38Speaker 2: Jedi lego figure that was in the Attack of the Clones,
- 40:42Speaker 2: one of the Attack of the Clone sets that never
- 40:45Speaker 2: that was nameless, but then got given the name Bob
- 40:49Speaker 2: by Phantom members and so they just took it and
- 40:52Speaker 2: ran with it. And I love that, Like this is
- 40:55Speaker 2: such a like the whole Darth director I think. I
- 41:01Speaker 2: first of all, he's in the trailer, so like that's
- 41:04Speaker 2: not like he doesn't play like a huge role, but like,
- 41:08Speaker 2: oh my gosh.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I think the only one that got me as a
- 41:12Speaker 3: surprise was seeing Darth Nubs out of nowhere, like okay,
- 41:20Speaker 3: like Darth Ray. It was kind of like, okay, like
- 41:24Speaker 3: that's cool. I kind of a slap to the face
- 41:26Speaker 3: for fans for the fact that she had a double
- 41:28Speaker 3: bladed lightsaber, you know, talking about what could have been,
- 41:31Speaker 3: and like, god damn it. So she she was there.
- 41:37Speaker 3: We see who was Oh who was some of the
- 41:41Speaker 3: other Darth characters.
- 41:43Speaker 2: He got Rose Nubs, Ray Kit Fisto.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Kisto was the other one that that I was like, oh, okay, cool, cool,
- 41:54Speaker 3: But then we got it and when Darth nubbed oh
- 41:59Speaker 3: I love oh was it Hammerhead where Sig was like
- 42:04Speaker 3: naming them all off, and then he's like, oh, well,
- 42:06Speaker 3: I uh, I actually don't know or remember your name.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, so we just call them erahad.
- 42:15Speaker 3: It's so good. It's so good. It's so fun. But yeah,
- 42:22Speaker 3: it's it's so clever. It's fun. The you guys might
- 42:26Speaker 3: call it a gimmick, but the idea that.
- 42:29Speaker 2: We're going to go into our second ad break and
- 42:33Speaker 2: we'll be right.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Back the building blocks of Lego, the actual company toy Industry.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Monster has a place in the Star Wars universe, now,
- 42:48Speaker 3: I think is so good. And you guys can say, oh, well,
- 42:50Speaker 3: they've always had a place, but like now there's a
- 42:53Speaker 3: legitimate reason, like you you know that there's a backstory
- 42:57Speaker 3: now and lore and all of this, and that's fun.
- 43:02Speaker 3: I think that's very silly and cool and genuinely, if
- 43:07Speaker 3: I was Lucasfilm, like, honestly, if I was Disney Lucasfilm,
- 43:12Speaker 3: I would be pitching a Lego Star Wars game that
- 43:18Speaker 3: piggybacked off of Rebuild the Galaxy. Yep.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I don't know why you wouldn't at this point or
- 43:25Speaker 2: even like, go okay, all these people bought Lego Skywalker
- 43:30Speaker 2: Saga their needs.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Now. Again, I'm not a huge fan of milking fans
- 43:39Speaker 3: for their money, but I know that's what we do
- 43:42Speaker 3: as consumers, Disney, if you make it a fair price,
- 43:50Speaker 3: give me sig with a lightsaber, Darth Ray, Darth jar Jar,
- 43:56Speaker 3: Darth Knubs, give me a Rebuild the Galaxy DLC. Yes,
- 44:03Speaker 3: and I will get it. I will buy it. I
- 44:05Speaker 3: will buy it, and I will play as each of
- 44:08Speaker 3: these characters for the Skywalker Saga because I think that
- 44:14Speaker 3: would be so much fun.
- 44:16Speaker 2: It really would, and like and like, obviously you've got
- 44:21Speaker 2: like the building stuff in the video game and everything,
- 44:24Speaker 2: but just like the creativity that comes out of this,
- 44:29Speaker 2: I mean, heck, like this would probably be hard, but
- 44:34Speaker 2: you could go like you could even have like you know,
- 44:38Speaker 2: like in the old Lego games, because I did not
- 44:41Speaker 2: have this in this in the Lego Skywalker saga, but
- 44:44Speaker 2: you know in the old Lego games where you could
- 44:47Speaker 2: like build a character, like build your own character, build
- 44:52Speaker 2: your own planet. Oh, I want the Tattooine Desert. I
- 44:56Speaker 2: want the waters of Yes.
- 44:59Speaker 3: So there, of course on the Oh gosh, what was
- 45:04Speaker 3: it on the switch or was it on the wi you?
- 45:07Speaker 3: I can't remember. I think it was on the switch. Actually,
- 45:11Speaker 3: I can actually look it up. I'm at the computer
- 45:13Speaker 3: right now. People, come on now. So it was called
- 45:18Speaker 3: Disney Infinity. It was a console game that was on
- 45:25Speaker 3: the PlayStation for and what other. Yeah, it was on
- 45:34Speaker 3: the WIU as well. And so o, Katie, I'm gonna
- 45:38Speaker 3: show you what this was. Essentially, let me see if
- 45:45Speaker 3: I can find a Star Wars path, because they did
- 45:48Speaker 3: have Star Wars on there right here, So I'm gonna
- 45:56Speaker 3: share my screen. Infinity was a very fun game. In
- 46:03Speaker 3: my mind, it was a gimmick that every gaming end
- 46:08Speaker 3: console company was trying to get on. Was these collectors'
- 46:15Speaker 3: toys being playable on a game system. You had a
- 46:22Speaker 3: little portal pad where you placed the toy on and
- 46:26Speaker 3: it would transfer data to be in your game. There
- 46:29Speaker 3: is even one with Lego called Lego Dimensions, and I
- 46:34Speaker 3: think that it would be very used, like very doable,
- 46:39Speaker 3: because I'm pretty sure in Disney Infinity the game mode
- 46:45Speaker 3: was called the Toy Box. You can create something that
- 46:53Speaker 3: is super massive in your idea of like data of
- 47:01Speaker 3: building a world via Legos like that can't be that hard.
- 47:06Speaker 3: It genuinely can't, because then it's the idea of the
- 47:13Speaker 3: you can only stop at I'm trying to wear this correctly.
- 47:19Speaker 3: The limit is your imagination at that point when it
- 47:23Speaker 3: comes to how the planets will be made, the play
- 47:27Speaker 3: areas and things like that, And I think it would
- 47:30Speaker 3: be very very fun. But yeah, like as right now,
- 47:38Speaker 3: Skywalker Sager being the only active game right now, and
- 47:41Speaker 3: I say active the most recent game because it's not
- 47:46Speaker 3: like they're like sharing things like oh, you know this
- 47:50Speaker 3: DLC is coming soon and things like that, like no,
- 47:53Speaker 3: it's been quite a while since the latest DLC for
- 47:57Speaker 3: that game has come out, but this which spark more
- 48:00Speaker 3: interest again to it, and I think it would be
- 48:02Speaker 3: smart if they did.
- 48:05Speaker 2: For sure. Yeah, I would have a lot of fun.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I think doing that and it would open up the
- 48:13Speaker 2: free play a little more to continue to be creative
- 48:18Speaker 2: because just exploring we talked about it in our review
- 48:22Speaker 2: for the game, it was not for me like the
- 48:24Speaker 2: whole like open worldness, but like building something that you
- 48:27Speaker 2: can then like kind of build your own Star Wars planet.
- 48:33Speaker 2: That would be super fun.
- 48:34Speaker 3: I think.
- 48:37Speaker 2: So by the end of this, uh, the galaxy is
- 48:41Speaker 2: left as it is because the galaxy cannot go back
- 48:44Speaker 2: to the way it was, so this opens up I
- 48:49Speaker 2: think Lego Star Wars to do a lot of things
- 48:52Speaker 2: within the galaxy, and they put this a season one
- 48:57Speaker 2: on there, but everything has kind of been labeled a
- 48:59Speaker 2: season one when there's episodes to it for Disney Plus.
- 49:02Speaker 2: But I think you could really build off of this
- 49:05Speaker 2: and kind of have fun with it and go, Okay,
- 49:09Speaker 2: this is what like I want to explore this, So
- 49:12Speaker 2: I want to explore.
- 49:12Speaker 3: That, and like, well, not only that, but like if
- 49:16Speaker 3: you inevitably want to change your mind and say, hey,
- 49:20Speaker 3: I think the main goal should be Sig trying to
- 49:24Speaker 3: get his world back, because of course, and I don't
- 49:30Speaker 3: want this to be an excuse for those people in
- 49:36Speaker 3: the fandom to be oh, you know, we can get
- 49:40Speaker 3: what we want. But like, if they don't want to
- 49:46Speaker 3: change the brand rolling my eyes of Star Wars, they
- 49:52Speaker 3: could inevitably be like, oh, Sig can find a way
- 49:55Speaker 3: to rebuild his galaxy and they can go back, and
- 50:00Speaker 3: that could be like a main goal throughout seasons. Right,
- 50:03Speaker 3: But I think it could be fun keeping these things
- 50:08Speaker 3: the way that they are currently in this new galaxy
- 50:12Speaker 3: because you can explore the idea of Okay, a A.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Luke's a very chill dude bro Luke Skywalker hanging out
- 50:31Speaker 3: with his dad, Darth Vader. Right, I think it would
- 50:36Speaker 3: be very silly and stupid and funny and all these
- 50:39Speaker 3: sorts of things. And I think it would be fun
- 50:42Speaker 3: and like for me, honestly, one like this series had
- 50:49Speaker 3: my one year old's attention. Amberly really watched all four
- 50:55Speaker 3: episodes without getting up from the couch. Wow, she was
- 51:01Speaker 3: just sitting there watching the entire thing. So I think
- 51:03Speaker 3: that is awesome within itself. Yeah, But when Sig got
- 51:08Speaker 3: the lightsaber for the first time, and when I say
- 51:11Speaker 3: for the first time, it was literally the last episode
- 51:14Speaker 3: where he got to finally throw down with his quote
- 51:17Speaker 3: unquote brother Darth devastator.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Uh.
- 51:25Speaker 3: The action scenes in this were amazing as well. I
- 51:30Speaker 3: think it's absolutely great. So I think that you could
- 51:34Speaker 3: you could do a whole bunch of stuff, like the
- 51:37Speaker 3: idea of a Star Wars what if Boom, It's right here,
- 51:42Speaker 3: we have it. But in like, there was so.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Much more than that too. Like it wasn't just like
- 51:47Speaker 2: a what if Vader stayed good? What if Palplatine was good? No,
- 51:54Speaker 2: it's like a whole galaxy based on it. And yes,
- 51:57Speaker 2: I still want a what if, I feel like, which
- 52:00Speaker 2: answers those different questions, but this was I.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Just had a last We think with this we get
- 52:08Speaker 3: to have our cake and eat it too, because, like
- 52:11Speaker 3: you said, it's an entire galaxy where all of those
- 52:15Speaker 3: what ifs are happening all at once and we can
- 52:18Speaker 3: get a little bit of everything and be satisfied with it.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Whereas if we were to get a traditional what if
- 52:24Speaker 3: like in Marvel's What If, we can isolate those stories
- 52:28Speaker 3: to be a little bit more impactful and have more
- 52:32Speaker 3: of that stuff, which I'm totally down for for sure.
- 52:35Speaker 3: With this, I just think it's the genre of Lego
- 52:40Speaker 3: has slowly become one of those that I am very
- 52:44Speaker 3: interested in more so because it's so lighthearted and it's
- 52:49Speaker 3: such I feel like, an easy concept to get around.
- 52:52Speaker 3: It's like, oh, you know, your favorite franchise turned into
- 52:56Speaker 3: a Lego and you just have fun with it.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Let's go, yeah, and we're about to jump into our
- 53:02Speaker 2: third ad, y'all. We promise we'll be right back. We promise,
- 53:07Speaker 2: yeah for sure. And I also like in the force
- 53:12Speaker 2: builders category that's like described here. I also really enjoyed
- 53:16Speaker 2: that it kind of plays into those who want to
- 53:19Speaker 2: take the death Star kit and build something else with it.
- 53:24Speaker 2: M Like, there's people that want to follow the instructions, sure,
- 53:28Speaker 2: but then it kind of that's what I was thinking
- 53:31Speaker 2: of it was the Lego bovie. It like, if you
- 53:34Speaker 2: want to follow the instructions, they're there, but if you don't,
- 53:37Speaker 2: then there's other options. And so it's just it was
- 53:42Speaker 2: so fun and Matt had a good time with it too.
- 53:45Speaker 3: So yeah, I think this is one that we will
- 53:49Speaker 3: probably revisit from time to time with Amberlain because she
- 53:51Speaker 3: did show so much interest, and I think now that
- 53:56Speaker 3: she does show interest, I can go back to the
- 53:58Speaker 3: other uh Lego Star Wars specials and watch those with
- 54:03Speaker 3: her as well. So I think it was very, very fun.
- 54:07Speaker 3: But I think that's it for this review, correct, So guys, again,
- 54:16Speaker 3: you can always find me at fanboy Play on Twitter.
- 54:20Speaker 3: I highly recommend this. Go watch it. Like we said,
- 54:24Speaker 3: each episode is about twenty five minutes long, and really
- 54:28Speaker 3: it's only about twenty minutes. I think the credits for
- 54:30Speaker 3: each episode is about three or four minutes, So very
- 54:35Speaker 3: quick episodes, very fun, very coherent story so you don't
- 54:39Speaker 3: get lost, and very just a very fun concept lore wise,
- 54:45Speaker 3: So go give it a shot. Go check me out
- 54:49Speaker 3: over at Ranger Alliance as well for the NRGUA network,
- 54:55Speaker 3: and of course, guys over at the Patreon are actually

- 56:25Speaker 2: the other one.
- 56:26Speaker 3: It is, Uh, we have to talk about life debt.
- 56:32Speaker 2: No next week because.
- 56:34Speaker 3: After Debt, this is after that it'll be uh, oh
- 56:39Speaker 3: my gosh.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Because we've we swapped it and I don't remember what
- 56:44Speaker 2: we swapped it too.
- 56:46Speaker 3: It was the Mace wind new story.
- 56:51Speaker 2: No, because Mace is coming out next week. Yes, but
- 56:53Speaker 2: there is another one that we are.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Arrive, yes with we it's just the way we are.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Clay's gonna edit this and it's going to be perfect
- 57:07Speaker 2: on the podcast exactly. So next week, guys, October third,
- 57:13Speaker 2: we are going to be live with our Higher Republic
- 57:16Speaker 2: Phase three Wave one in review. We will also have
- 57:22Speaker 2: not live our review of Mace Wind the Glass Abyss
- 57:28Speaker 2: that comes out October fifteenth, but the embargo is up
- 57:32Speaker 2: October first, so you will start seeing reviews for it then,
- 57:36Speaker 2: so we will have our review out October third. But yes,
- 57:41Speaker 2: bring your Higher Republic questions for Phase three to the
- 57:45Speaker 2: to the drawing board, like, let's talk about it. But

- 57:54Speaker 2: they're a haul to get through this.
- 57:56Speaker 3: So and remember that it is all prep for when
- 58:03Speaker 3: we will eventually be talking about the post return of
- 58:08Speaker 3: the Jedi comics that are going to be coming out
- 58:11Speaker 3: from Marvel very very soon.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Yes, they are coming out October, the first week of October.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the first week of October. I don't I can't
- 58:20Speaker 3: remember if we said that we were going to be
- 58:22Speaker 3: reading those on time or you know, reading them at
- 58:26Speaker 3: a later date, but we are interested in covering that
- 58:29Speaker 3: era because it has not been covered before, so it's
- 58:33Speaker 3: going to be a very interesting ride having some of
- 58:36Speaker 3: this knowledge from the life debt stuff or from the
- 58:38Speaker 3: aftermath stuff and h yeah, so enjoy with that, guys.
- 58:44Speaker 2: I want to wish everyone a great day or night,
- 58:47Speaker 2: whatever time of day you are listening, and we will
