- 0:55Speaker 1: Hannah McDonald, Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:03Speaker 1: So much juicy stuff going on. Let's get into it. Well,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Kravis finally got married for the third time. You know,
- 1:12Speaker 1: the first one was in Vegas. That wasn't a real wedding.
- 1:14Speaker 1: The second one was in Santa Barbara. That was a
- 1:17Speaker 1: real wedding. And so they were already married. And then
- 1:20Speaker 1: they had the big Italian wedding. And Throughout the weekend,
- 1:24Speaker 1: we got to see the family and all their outfits.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It was sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana. Everybody wore everything Dolce.
- 1:33Speaker 1: And that included the first night when they went on
- 1:37Speaker 1: like a yacht trip. And then the rehearsal dinner, I think,
- 1:41Speaker 1: or like, you know, a party like that. And that's
- 1:43Speaker 1: when she was wearing this, the black dress. That was
- 1:46Speaker 1: a short black dress with the veil. I don't know
- 1:48Speaker 1: if I have that one. And then for the actual wedding...
- 1:51Speaker 1: She wore the exact same type of short corset, like lingerie, white,
- 1:58Speaker 1: like a virgin type of dress with a long, beautiful veil.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And the theme was the Virgin Mary. So she had
- 2:05Speaker 1: a big Virgin Mary veil on. And page six style
- 2:10Speaker 1: is saying Kourtney Kardashian's wedding veil had a nod to
- 2:13Speaker 1: Travis Barker's head tattoo. I did not realize that one
- 2:17Speaker 1: of his tattoos was that of the... Virgin Mary holding
- 2:22Speaker 1: the baby. So the altar, too, normally a Catholic altar
- 2:27Speaker 1: has a crucifix. This was outside. It was not at
- 2:30Speaker 1: a church in a beautiful setting, but all very Catholic.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And instead of having a crucifix, it was a statue
- 2:37Speaker 1: of Mary holding baby Jesus. So I guess he was Catholic.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I know that Courtney went to Marymount, which is an
- 2:45Speaker 1: all-girl Catholic high school. But it's just interesting that when
- 2:48Speaker 1: then when it comes to the wedding, they're like, let's
- 2:49Speaker 1: just go full old school Italian Dolce & Gabbana and
- 2:53Speaker 1: like really get into the Catholic thing. All of them
- 2:56Speaker 1: were wearing big cross necklaces. So I have it. So, yeah,
- 3:01Speaker 1: here's his head tattoo, which is Mary. Very nice. Courtney
- 3:05Speaker 1: went on the yacht in these high, high spiky boots,
- 3:09Speaker 1: which is not yachting shoes. But, you know, she was
- 3:13Speaker 1: posting all her good looks. Kim is blonde still from
- 3:17Speaker 1: wearing Marilyn's dress. And she was wearing the black, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: she was with North. And North was wearing, like, corsets
- 3:24Speaker 1: over her clothes. Rain, however, really killed it. That's Kourtney's
- 3:29Speaker 1: younger son. He looked so cute. For a long time,
- 3:33Speaker 1: he had a man bun. He has cut his hair.
- 3:35Speaker 1: He wore little, like, little boy shorts, dress shorts with
- 3:42Speaker 1: a tux jacket and tie. He looked so cute. I've
- 3:46Speaker 1: not seen any photos of Mason. Some people were concerned
- 3:49Speaker 1: if Mason attended, we have not seen photos. Uh, Chris
- 3:53Speaker 1: was there looking beautiful in like a blushy pink outfit, uh,
- 3:57Speaker 1: at the wedding. Chloe wore this big, like Dolce, like,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I guess it's Dolce & Gabbana, like hat thing. And
- 4:05Speaker 1: I guess, um, Beyonce had worn something similar.
- 4:08Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So anyway, a lot of criticism was about the fact
- 4:12Speaker 1: that Kourtney wore this really short dress that was basically
- 4:15Speaker 1: a bodysuit with like lace over it. So you could
- 4:18Speaker 1: kind of see like the whole part of her thigh
- 4:21Speaker 1: as well as it being a super small mini. I think,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you know what, I think she chose this wedding look.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Because that is what Travis is into. They're super sexual together.
- 4:31Speaker 1: He's always grabbing her. He was like that with Shanna Moakler, too.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I think that's his lovely, which I think he's very affectionate.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I saw a TikTok of him and Shanna Moakler getting
- 4:41Speaker 1: their marriage license on Meet the Barkers. And I don't
- 4:45Speaker 1: mean to be disrespectful in bringing up his former love,
- 4:48Speaker 1: but we also have a million followers. hours of footage
- 4:51Speaker 1: of Courtney with Scott Disick. So it's like they're both
- 4:55Speaker 1: in the reality show world. You put everything and they're
- 4:58Speaker 1: going to come back. And so people were like, wow,
- 5:00Speaker 1: he acts just the way he did with Shanna as
- 5:02Speaker 1: he did with Courtney. But some people, when they're in relationships,
- 5:06Speaker 1: have a certain love language and his is super hands-on, PDA, affectionate.
- 5:11Speaker 1: She seems to really like it. And I think because
- 5:13Speaker 1: he's so sexual with her, I think that he was like,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I love your legs. I love your body. I want
- 5:17Speaker 1: to see that. And I think she wanted to go
- 5:20Speaker 1: completely different than what Kim has done for her other
- 5:22Speaker 1: weddings and what Khloe did for her wedding with Lamar.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And she just wanted to make it her own. And
- 5:28Speaker 1: I like the mini 60s look. It was pretty skimpy,
- 5:32Speaker 1: but who cares? I mean, I thought it was cool.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And I loved the long veil. I loved all the
- 5:37Speaker 1: Catholic stuff. Oh, here is the black dress that she
- 5:41Speaker 1: wore like the night before. with a black and blue veil,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and it was a super cute outfit for Halloween. If
- 5:47Speaker 1: you're going sexy goth bride Halloween, this would be one
- 5:52Speaker 1: of those hot outfits where you're like, I can dress
- 5:54Speaker 1: like a slut, it's Halloween. But this is what she
- 5:56Speaker 1: wore for her rehearsal dinner. And then page six reminded
- 6:00Speaker 1: us that Kim wore a very similar dress with, again,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I mean, this is like, Mary is like basically killing
- 6:08Speaker 1: it right now. Like she is so in right now,
- 6:10Speaker 1: Virgin Mary. And so the Virgin Mary, again, emblem on
- 6:14Speaker 1: the middle of the, so that was just very in look.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Kylie was there with Stormi and she looked really pretty.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So they all wore like vintage Dolce dresses throughout the weekend.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And yeah, people were It got some criticism. A lot
- 6:32Speaker 1: of people were just like, I'm happy for you. You
- 6:34Speaker 1: look beautiful. I do think this is a beautiful location
- 6:37Speaker 1: to get married. I, of course, had to get married
- 6:40Speaker 1: in the church because otherwise it didn't count, I guess,
- 6:43Speaker 1: with God, according to my parents. And it was an
- 6:45Speaker 1: hour and a half long. And I still want to
- 6:48Speaker 1: apologize for the people that had to sit through that
- 6:50Speaker 1: hour and a half mass.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Let's see. Oh, so Penelope was there, her daughter, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: she looked really pretty. So I guess she was like
- 6:57Speaker 1: a flower girl, bridesmaid. And so was his daughter, Alabama.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And then this photo came up. This is from my family, Jeannie.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And it was Courtney, her high school photo, which basically
- 7:10Speaker 1: she looks exactly the same because at 43, she has
- 7:13Speaker 1: a very youthful face and she hasn't had any work
- 7:16Speaker 1: done or very little. So she looks like the same.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And then Travis, that just looks like a it's like
- 7:22Speaker 1: your average little skinny white kid with like long hair.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And it's just kind of interesting. Like all these years later,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's like a million tattoos, shaved head, Madonna on the
- 7:31Speaker 1: back or, you know, the real Madonna. That's not Madonna, Madonna, Madonna,
- 7:36Speaker 1: like Virgin Mary, Madonna on the back of his head. And, and,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you know, there was just a time when they were
- 7:41Speaker 1: just two dorks in the nineties, early nineties, or yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 1: that would have been it. They would have graduated in
- 7:47Speaker 1: the nineties, probably late eighties. Speaking of which Joe, um, Jojo, um,
- 7:52Speaker 1: Jolie Fletcher. They did finally get married. I kind of
- 7:56Speaker 1: feel bitchy because I saw another video and I'm like,
- 7:58Speaker 1: when are you guys going to get married? But I
- 7:59Speaker 1: guess it had been postponed for two years. They got
- 8:01Speaker 1: married this weekend too. And her wedding dress and everything
- 8:05Speaker 1: was very traditional and actually really gorgeous.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Now let me just update you on the trial, the Amber,
- 8:15Speaker 1: Johnny versus Amber trial. I'm reading all your comments by
- 8:18Speaker 1: the way. Okay. And some people were so upset that
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm not 100% team Johnny. And they're like, you don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: realize that Amber has been caught in this, in this lie.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I just want to say. I have not watched every
- 8:33Speaker 1: second of the trial. I've watched a lot of it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I've read a lot about it. I'm very aware of it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I also am very well versed in defamation lawsuits, which
- 8:44Speaker 1: that is what this is. It's not who's telling the
- 8:48Speaker 1: truth and if there's going to be a mistrial. There's
- 8:50Speaker 1: not going to be a mistrial for a civil defamation lawsuit.
- 8:54Speaker 1: We're going to get through it. And the jury, which
- 8:57Speaker 1: I didn't realize, I guess it's only seven people when
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's a civil defamation. case, but they will decide who
- 9:06Speaker 1: they believe is in the right and if anybody deserves
- 9:09Speaker 1: any money. He's suing for 50. She's countersuing for 100 million.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So this is what I think in general. I've told
- 9:18Speaker 1: you what I think. I think that they will come
- 9:21Speaker 1: to the conclusion that neither really gets anything. Maybe they'll
- 9:24Speaker 1: side with Johnny, but he will only get a little
- 9:27Speaker 1: bit of money. That is my prediction. That's what I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: sticking with. I don't think it's going to be this
- 9:32Speaker 1: big windfall, and we all believe that Amber's lied about everything.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I do believe that she's lied about some things, and
- 9:38Speaker 1: I think that he's lied about some things. Or I
- 9:40Speaker 1: think that being that he was a drug addict, alcoholic,
- 9:44Speaker 1: using all different kinds of drugs, which he's admitted to
- 9:46Speaker 1: for the last 30, 40 years, I don't know how
- 9:49Speaker 1: well you can remember everything. You know, I remember reading, like,
- 9:54Speaker 1: memoirs about people that were, like, full-on drug addicts. And
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm reading this thing, and it's like, and then after
- 9:58Speaker 1: a four-day heroin binge, I did this. this, and this.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm like, how do you remember what you did after
- 10:02Speaker 1: a four-day heroin binge? I'm just saying, you know, he's
- 10:07Speaker 1: very likable. And it's crazy. This one woman was in
- 10:10Speaker 1: the courthouse today. The cameras weren't there, so they didn't
- 10:14Speaker 1: get it. But there was like a little lull and
- 10:16Speaker 1: the cameras were down and she stood up with her baby.
- 10:19Speaker 1: She had a baby in the courtroom. She'd been waiting
- 10:21Speaker 1: there since 1 a.m. with her baby to get her
- 10:24Speaker 1: little wristband to be in the courtroom. And she yelled,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I love you, Johnny. And he's like, she's like, this
- 10:31Speaker 1: is this baby's yours. And they're like, OK, you're out
- 10:34Speaker 1: of here. And later on, she's like, oh, my husband,
- 10:36Speaker 1: I thought it'd be funny if I waited here all night,
- 10:38Speaker 1: got in the courtroom and then said that he's the
- 10:40Speaker 1: baby daddy. So there's some hardcore fans of Johnny Depp,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and I get it. And some of you might be
- 10:47Speaker 1: watching and listening to this and, like, annoyed that I'm
- 10:50Speaker 1: not anything but 100% Johnny Depp is the greatest person
- 10:55Speaker 1: that ever walked the earth. But I like really seeing
- 10:58Speaker 1: both sides. That's why we have this system. That's why
- 11:01Speaker 1: her people are talking as well. But, yes, has she
- 11:04Speaker 1: said a lot of things? Has she said things where
- 11:07Speaker 1: she's answering questions, where they're like– And then what did
- 11:11Speaker 1: Johnny do? And then she's like, well, I would grab,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I mean, and she wouldn't even say, I mean, she
- 11:18Speaker 1: would like start telling the story about his abuse, but
- 11:21Speaker 1: using the word I, because we've listened to the audio.
- 11:24Speaker 1: We know that she has verbally abused him and we
- 11:27Speaker 1: know that she has physically hit him. She says that.
- 11:31Speaker 1: So we know that that's the case. Is the jury
- 11:34Speaker 1: going to sit back there after four or five weeks
- 11:37Speaker 1: or whatever it's been and been like, look, this was
- 11:39Speaker 1: an awful couple that hit each other and verbally abused
- 11:44Speaker 1: each other. And was she hitting him back? Was she
- 11:48Speaker 1: finally standing up for herself? Isn't it awful to ever be?
- 11:54Speaker 1: I think most people have dealt with an addict of
- 11:56Speaker 1: some sort in their life or an alcoholic or someone
- 11:59Speaker 1: that's drank too much that And we've all been there
- 12:01Speaker 1: and it's not fun being the spouse to that. But
- 12:05Speaker 1: this is what's come since I've spoken less. Ellen Barkin,
- 12:09Speaker 1: who was his girlfriend, she said she corrected herself. She's like,
- 12:13Speaker 1: it wasn't a romantic relationship. It was a sexual relationship.
- 12:16Speaker 1: They were in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas together.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And she's 10 years his senior. This is them, Ellen
- 12:23Speaker 1: and Johnny in the 90s. They dated for a few
- 12:26Speaker 1: months in the 90s. She did a testimony back in
- 12:29Speaker 1: November of 2019, a deposition which they shared. And she
- 12:35Speaker 1: said that he was always, he seemed like he was
- 12:38Speaker 1: frequently drunk or high or had a joint or something.
- 12:42Speaker 1: He did get angry about something. He was either fighting
- 12:46Speaker 1: with an assistant or someone and he threw a wine
- 12:48Speaker 1: bottle at towards her. I don't know if he meant
- 12:52Speaker 1: to hit her, but he did throw a wine bottle.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He threw a wine bottle. That's his thing. And it
- 12:56Speaker 1: was red wine. You know, if someone was going to say,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know, and Heather had a Chardonnay, you'd be like,
- 13:01Speaker 1: that tracks. If you're like, and then Heather had a
- 13:03Speaker 1: gin and tonic, you'd be like, I've never heard her
- 13:06Speaker 1: mention gin before. Well, he always just drinking red wine.
- 13:09Speaker 1: He has thrown wine bottles. Lots of people have said
- 13:12Speaker 1: that he's thrown wine bottles. Well, third, you know, in
- 13:15Speaker 1: the nineties with Ellen Barkin, he threw them then too.
- 13:19Speaker 1: She also said that he was very jealous. He was
- 13:22Speaker 1: always like, where are you going? What are you doing?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Who are you with? And she had a scratch on
- 13:27Speaker 1: her back and he was convinced that scratch came from
- 13:29Speaker 1: wild sex with somebody else. So he accused her of cheating.
- 13:32Speaker 1: These are all things that track with what Amber has told,
- 13:35Speaker 1: what Amber's friends have told about her relationship with Johnny.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Just saying.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And then Johnny's agent also was interviewed. This woman was
- 13:47Speaker 1: his agent for 30 years. And she said he was
- 13:50Speaker 1: frequently late on set, late for like hours. Yes, he'd
- 13:55Speaker 1: be lovely to the crew and the crew all liked him.
- 13:57Speaker 1: But when the crew had to wait for five hours
- 13:59Speaker 1: for him to be on set, when his call time
- 14:01Speaker 1: was five hours previous, then they didn't love him so much.
- 14:04Speaker 1: People in Hollywood talk. And he was getting a reputation
- 14:08Speaker 1: that he was difficult to work with. He couldn't remember
- 14:10Speaker 1: his lines. Oftentimes when people, a psychiatrist spoke on this today,
- 14:15Speaker 1: people that are using a lot, the next day their
- 14:19Speaker 1: memory isn't as sharp. I mean, I know that sometimes
- 14:21Speaker 1: if I'm a little hungover, I'm not as quick. So
- 14:24Speaker 1: certainly someone who is in their 50s and abused for
- 14:27Speaker 1: that much, they're not going to be as quick as
- 14:30Speaker 1: he is right now. He's probably been sober this whole trial.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And I mean, I don't know, you guys probably know
- 14:35Speaker 1: how long he's been sober, but I'm assuming, you know,
- 14:39Speaker 1: this is him at his best, what we've seen. So
- 14:43Speaker 1: she said that already he was getting a bad reputation
- 14:49Speaker 1: and he had to do the earpiece because he couldn't
- 14:51Speaker 1: remember the lines. And she said, you're really hurting yourself
- 14:56Speaker 1: in acting like this. He then fired her and that
- 14:59Speaker 1: was it. So I saw the comments and people were like, oh,
- 15:02Speaker 1: maybe she's now speaking on behalf of the defense because
- 15:05Speaker 1: he fired her. Well, 30 years in the business, she knows.
- 15:09Speaker 1: She knows what she was up against in trying to
- 15:12Speaker 1: get him jobs, and she tried to warn him with
- 15:14Speaker 1: his behavior. He was older. Maybe it was becoming difficult
- 15:17Speaker 1: to insure. He couldn't remember his lines. As people get older, men,
- 15:22Speaker 1: especially women, but men, their parts aren't as abundant. Now,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Amber also had an entertainment consultant that also went on
- 15:31Speaker 1: the stand, and this woman, I don't really know what
- 15:34Speaker 1: that means because I just read it. I didn't watch
- 15:35Speaker 1: the testimony, but She said that they felt what she
- 15:41Speaker 1: was made aware of is that the character of Jack
- 15:45Speaker 1: Sparrow had run its course. So they're setting the stage
- 15:49Speaker 1: so that the jury goes back and says, this article
- 15:53Speaker 1: that Amber wrote in which she did not name Johnny Depp,
- 15:55Speaker 1: but it was pretty clear that people could figure out
- 15:58Speaker 1: that she was saying, I'm a victim of domestic violence
- 16:02Speaker 1: of this relationship. They figured out the years. But they're
- 16:06Speaker 1: saying that is not what caused his career to go down. Therefore,
- 16:10Speaker 1: we do not think that she should have to pay
- 16:15Speaker 1: him money for that. Or we do believe that this
- 16:19Speaker 1: is what caused it. So obviously her people are trying
- 16:21Speaker 1: to make the jury believe that there's other reasons why
- 16:24Speaker 1: these parts dried up for him. Also coming soon is
- 16:29Speaker 1: going to be Kate Moss. Remember, she brought up Kate Moss,
- 16:34Speaker 1: Amber did, in talking about, saying, oh, I heard that
- 16:39Speaker 1: there was something where he pushed Kate Moss down the stairs.
- 16:42Speaker 1: So Kate Moss is going to come, and his people
- 16:45Speaker 1: are very excited about that because they, even though they
- 16:49Speaker 1: trashed some hotel rooms together and stuff, that they have
- 16:52Speaker 1: a great relationship. So therefore, she most likely will speak
- 16:56Speaker 1: very highly of him and crush that story that Amber
- 17:01Speaker 1: was trying to get out there when she was on
- 17:02Speaker 1: the stand that he was, might've been abusive to Kate Moss.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So she's coming on also a Warner brothers executive is
- 17:08Speaker 1: going to, um, take the stand and he is going
- 17:12Speaker 1: to be say that Aquaman, um, in which she's in,
- 17:18Speaker 1: he's probably going to say, I read this, that he
- 17:21Speaker 1: assumed that he'll say, no, um, You know, what we've
- 17:25Speaker 1: heard about Amber and this whole big mess did not
- 17:28Speaker 1: affect Hollywood in hiring her or Aquaman executives in hiring her.
- 17:32Speaker 1: And we still think she's great. Well, of course, they're
- 17:34Speaker 1: going to say that because if they don't, it makes
- 17:37Speaker 1: them look bad. That's not fair that someone's personal life
- 17:40Speaker 1: could keep them from getting a job. So it's just
- 17:44Speaker 1: going to be a lot for the jury to really say,
- 17:47Speaker 1: was this defamation? Did she have a right to say it?
- 17:50Speaker 1: And if it was defamation, did it really affect his
- 17:53Speaker 1: career for $ 50 million? That is what it's handed. It's
- 17:57Speaker 1: not how he really cut his finger. That's being talked
- 18:01Speaker 1: about again. He said she threw a bottle at him.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It cut his finger like a guillotine. Then he went
- 18:08Speaker 1: to protect her and said, I cut it myself. They
- 18:11Speaker 1: spoke to the doctor. The doctor was on the stand.
- 18:13Speaker 1: He said he came to me to fix his hand,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and he said it got caught in the door jam,
- 18:18Speaker 1: which is what he believes made the most sense. Of
- 18:21Speaker 1: those three scenarios, he said, a door jam, this is
- 18:24Speaker 1: what it looks like when it's in a door jam,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but I can't say for sure how he got this.
- 18:29Speaker 1: When he told me it, I believed it. I mean,
- 18:33Speaker 1: the hand injury is the biggest because that's the only
- 18:35Speaker 1: real physical abuse that he can say– happened at her
- 18:42Speaker 1: hands in which I was hurt. Now, we know that
- 18:44Speaker 1: she hit him, you know, because she said that. But
- 18:46Speaker 1: she's presenting all this stuff of bruises and things, which
- 18:49Speaker 1: people don't know if they're those exact days or the
- 18:53Speaker 1: next day. And all of that we've gone through before
- 18:56Speaker 1: has been definitely some holes and don't really add up.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But does the jury believe that she that he was
- 19:04Speaker 1: a victim of her, that he is a domestic violence victim?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Or do they just think they both hit each other,
- 19:10Speaker 1: they both said shit about each other, and therefore because
- 19:13Speaker 1: they're both hitting each other, they're both victims of domestic
- 19:16Speaker 1: violence and they're both perpetrators of– and they're both the
- 19:20Speaker 1: domestic violence attackers or whatever you would call it. Like
- 19:23Speaker 1: they're both. They're both victims and they are both guilty
- 19:26Speaker 1: of it themselves. That's what I think. I think they're
- 19:28Speaker 1: both guilty of both. People are going to get so
- 19:32Speaker 1: mad at me. The pirates are going to come after me.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm just saying like just imagine if you've been there
- 19:37Speaker 1: for six– six weeks and you have to make this decision.
- 19:40Speaker 1: It's about the defamation, not which actor you like more
- 19:44Speaker 1: or not. Oh, Courtney Love also said, oh, Johnny Depp
- 19:49Speaker 1: is the greatest. In 1995, I OD'd somewhere and he
- 19:53Speaker 1: helped me. I don't really think that's the greatest story
- 19:55Speaker 1: to get out there. You know, like another person who
- 19:58Speaker 1: frequently used drugs and alcohol happened to be hanging out
- 20:01Speaker 1: with Courtney Love and he saved Courtney Love and therefore
- 20:05Speaker 1: he's a sweetheart. I mean, I hope he would. If
- 20:07Speaker 1: you saw someone ODing, I mean... Are you just going
- 20:09Speaker 1: to step over them? I mean, especially if you know them. Anyway,
- 20:14Speaker 1: so there we go with all of that.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Cooler days are made for warm welcomes and moments that last.

- 20:47Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:51Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:54Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:58Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:06Speaker 3: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 21:08Speaker 3: be taken from you, what would.
- 21:10Speaker 6: You do if it was given back? Where did that
- 21:12Speaker 6: need come from, where you thought that you had to
- 21:15Speaker 6: succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:17Speaker 5: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 21:19Speaker 5: home dad.
- 21:19Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 21:20Speaker 5: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:26Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:29Speaker 6: happens next.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara,
- 21:36Speaker 5: I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:37Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:39Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:54Speaker 1: Oh, update on the Dave Chappelle attacker. Couple things. They
- 22:00Speaker 1: realized that in December, he attacked his roommate with a
- 22:06Speaker 1: knife and stabbed him. So they didn't know who did this,
- 22:10Speaker 1: but once they arrested him for the Dave Chappelle thing,
- 22:13Speaker 1: they realized, oh, this is the guy we were looking
- 22:15Speaker 1: for that stabbed this guy in like a transitional living house.
- 22:20Speaker 1: So He's also up for attempted murder. But now his
- 22:24Speaker 1: defense is completely different from what he said before. After
- 22:28Speaker 1: he jumped up on stage and attacked Dave Chappelle with
- 22:32Speaker 1: a fake gun and knife, Dave Chappelle said he spoke
- 22:35Speaker 1: to him a bit and he said, my grandmother is
- 22:39Speaker 1: so upset that her neighborhood in Brooklyn is being gentrified.
- 22:43Speaker 1: That's why I'm here attacking you to bring eyes to this.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And he's like, well, I don't know what you want
- 22:49Speaker 1: me to do about that, but, you know, good luck.
- 22:52Speaker 1: He gets arrested, right? That was his defense, that it
- 22:54Speaker 1: was that. Now he's saying, so now this will be
- 22:58Speaker 1: his defense, that he was triggered by Dave Chappelle's LGBTQ
- 23:03Speaker 1: jokes and jokes about, you know, and stories about his
- 23:07Speaker 1: interactions with a trans woman. And so he said, I
- 23:12Speaker 1: was triggered by that. I was also triggered by because
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm bisexual and I'm also triggered about his material about
- 23:18Speaker 1: homelessness because I was homeless at one time. And I
- 23:22Speaker 1: have a five-year-old son. And also, his opener had a
- 23:27Speaker 1: joke about a pedophile. And I was also a victim
- 23:31Speaker 1: of pedophilia. So it was all those jokes combined that
- 23:36Speaker 1: then triggered me to make me jump on stage and
- 23:41Speaker 1: use this fake gun with a knife on the end
- 23:43Speaker 1: of it. Okay, so you're a homeless person, but you
- 23:46Speaker 1: managed to get a ticket to um, like a really
- 23:49Speaker 1: good ticket at this event that is not, was not free.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And you didn't plan it because you didn't know what
- 23:57Speaker 1: kind of jokes he was going to say, but you just,
- 23:58Speaker 1: in case he said jokes that triggered you, you had
- 24:01Speaker 1: a gun with a, a fake gun with a knife
- 24:04Speaker 1: at the end. Um, anyway, I, I don't know if
- 24:08Speaker 1: this is his idea or his public defender's idea or
- 24:11Speaker 1: whatever to, say that now he attacked me because he's
- 24:14Speaker 1: triggered because of jokes. And being the way RDA is,
- 24:18Speaker 1: it probably will work. And now anyone can attack any
- 24:22Speaker 1: comedian if you don't like the joke because you're triggered
- 24:25Speaker 1: and because you had a shitty childhood and because you're
- 24:28Speaker 1: not killing it in life today. And someone might have
- 24:32Speaker 1: joked about that. I mean, that is just insane. Brittany says,
- 24:37Speaker 1: was off again on the Instagram. She's wearing her brown pumps.
- 24:41Speaker 1: She is now talking. She's obviously listening to Juicy Scoop
- 24:44Speaker 1: because I said we don't hear her talk anymore. Well,
- 24:47Speaker 1: she talked a lot. She did a whole other video,
- 24:50Speaker 1: brought back her character, Sessions with Ashley, who is this
- 24:54Speaker 1: awful therapist that apparently she went to. Then she twirled around.
- 24:59Speaker 1: She said, go to Six Flags. A lot of things
- 25:01Speaker 1: didn't make sense after the skit. But again, Britney fans,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I agree. This is her outlet. Let her be free.
- 25:10Speaker 1: People are like, who's running this? No one's running it.
- 25:12Speaker 1: No one is running it. She's running it. She's free.
- 25:16Speaker 1: She can do her own Instagram and it's going to
- 25:19Speaker 1: be some nudes. It's going to be some cups of coffee.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It's going to be photos of her brown pumps. It's
- 25:25Speaker 1: going to be her spinning. It's going to be other
- 25:29Speaker 1: little viral videos that she finds. That's it. Then she
- 25:33Speaker 1: went to Vegas to Resort World, which was nice because
- 25:35Speaker 1: she said she never could have fun when she was
- 25:38Speaker 1: performing in Vegas. Someone treated her there. She took a
- 25:40Speaker 1: bunch of photos there. She was with Sam, and it
- 25:44Speaker 1: looked like she had a good time. So there you go.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Thanks for listening, Brittany. Oh, Ramona Singer. This was amazing.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Justin Anderson saw this on her story and posted it,
- 25:55Speaker 1: and a lot of other people have shared it since.
- 25:57Speaker 1: But Ramona was at a wedding, and she's like, So
- 26:01Speaker 1: I'm at a wedding, and I just met the most
- 26:02Speaker 1: beautiful girl. She's the sister of the bride. And I just,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I want to come over here. And she has the phone.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And she's like, can you just tell everybody what you
- 26:11Speaker 1: said to me? And the woman's like, well, I just
- 26:14Speaker 1: wanted to say that Ramona is such an inspiration and
- 26:18Speaker 1: really gets me through some hard times. You know what?
- 26:20Speaker 1: It really means so much to me because I've always
- 26:22Speaker 1: known I was an inspiration. And don't believe everything you
- 26:27Speaker 1: see on TV. Exactly. Thanks so much. You know what?
- 26:29Speaker 1: That's what I know. I know I support women. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: know I inspire women. And here is one that's saying it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Everyone's like, oh my God. I mean, I don't mean
- 26:38Speaker 1: to toot my own horn, but if I shared every
- 26:40Speaker 1: time someone came up to me, you'd be like, well,
- 26:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wouldn't because it's a moment between myself
- 26:46Speaker 1: and the listener or the fan. It's so Ramona. I
- 26:49Speaker 1: love it. I also love that she recently did a
- 26:52Speaker 1: post about Jill Zarin's rug and she said, I love
- 26:56Speaker 1: it because if my dog makes a mess or if
- 26:59Speaker 1: I make a mess on the rug. And we all
- 27:01Speaker 1: thought that was really funny because we've all seen the
- 27:02Speaker 1: episodes where she actually has like, like shit or shit
- 27:05Speaker 1: herself and it's like fallen. So, but I think she
- 27:08Speaker 1: meant like if she spilled some wine or something, then like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I don't think she meant that kind of like Amber
- 27:13Speaker 1: turd mess. I think she just meant like, anyway, she's
- 27:17Speaker 1: never changing. That's the good news. You guys, Ramona is
- 27:20Speaker 1: never changing and we will have so many more moments
- 27:23Speaker 1: like this to look forward to. Real Housewives of Beverly
- 27:28Speaker 1: Hills is on, and oh my God, there's lots of
- 27:29Speaker 1: gossip going on. Sutton and Lisa Rinna got into it
- 27:34Speaker 1: over the Elton John thing. I still don't know if
- 27:37Speaker 1: Sutton bought the tickets. I believe Lisa Rinna has never
- 27:40Speaker 1: paid for a ticket to Elton John. I believe that
- 27:42Speaker 1: she always got to go as his guest, as a celebrity,
- 27:46Speaker 1: who then would post and share and talk about the charity.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Sutton was not a celebrity. She always bought a ticket.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Sutton invited Lisa to sit at her table and therefore
- 27:55Speaker 1: paid for a ticket. That's all the truth, and I
- 27:58Speaker 1: don't really understand the controversy. But now Lisa Renna is,
- 28:03Speaker 1: according to Bravo Snark, someone has gotten some DMs from her,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and she has been sharing all this stuff about why
- 28:11Speaker 1: she is not getting along with Kathy Hilton. It explains
- 28:15Speaker 1: why Kathy Hilton wasn't on a lot of the season. Anyway,
- 28:19Speaker 1: it's all adding to wanting to watch it a lot. Again,
- 28:23Speaker 1: people are talking about it is Dorit. You know, people
- 28:26Speaker 1: are just thinking about Dorit's robbery because it showed up
- 28:30Speaker 1: late last week, the police report. And in the police report,
- 28:35Speaker 1: it did not mention that these robbers or burglars were armed.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I talked to an LAPD officer that I know, and
- 28:43Speaker 1: I asked about that. And he said, sometimes in these things,
- 28:49Speaker 1: they just didn't include it, not for any particular reason.
- 28:51Speaker 1: They may have forgotten. But chances are they didn't. that
- 28:55Speaker 1: people that are breaking into homes, 99% of the time
- 28:58Speaker 1: they are armed and they're very hard to catch these
- 29:02Speaker 1: people and they usually don't catch them until someone gets
- 29:06Speaker 1: caught for something else and flips or they get caught
- 29:11Speaker 1: for another crime and then they match the DNA and
- 29:13Speaker 1: find it. So that is why these people haven't been caught. Again,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm still going to say I do not think Dorit
- 29:21Speaker 1: or PK made up this robbery. I think Dorit There's
- 29:25Speaker 1: things that don't make sense, but also being robbed at
- 29:29Speaker 1: this time of your goods in your home has been happening, unfortunately.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So now, everybody remember to go to HeatherMcDonald.net, get your
- 29:38Speaker 1: tickets for June 17th. I will be at the Krug
- 29:42Speaker 1: Winery with Justin Martindale. Maybe another special guest too, but
- 29:47Speaker 1: you got to get your tickets. It's 5.30 and 8.30.
- 29:49Speaker 1: There's a meet and greet in between. And you can
- 29:52Speaker 1: get all that at HeatherMcDonald.net and join Patreon as well.
- 29:56Speaker 1: And now for a very juicy... juicy interview I did.
- 29:59Speaker 1: It's a lot of Juicy Scoop history. I am talking
- 30:02Speaker 1: to two guys that are former paparazzi TMZ guys who
- 30:07Speaker 1: started their own very popular show, Hollywood Raw. So please
- 30:11Speaker 1: welcome Dax and Adam from Hollywood Raw. Well, people are
- 30:18Speaker 1: out and about. They're But the same thing that happened
- 30:22Speaker 1: before the pandemic is happening now. You know what that is.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You got there late. You couldn't find parking. You're frustrated.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You didn't sign up for the class in time. There's
- 30:29Speaker 1: no spot for you. And now there's no workout for you. Well,
- 30:32Speaker 1: that never happens when you have a Peloton. the one
- 30:36Speaker 1: thing I still love doing from home. And I love

- 30:42Speaker 1: Peloton has thousands of live and on-demand classes, always keeping
- 30:45Speaker 1: it so fresh. I love that there's other Juicy Scoopers
- 30:48Speaker 1: on there that I can find what fun rides they're doing.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I love my favorite instructor, Cody Rigsby. And there's so
- 30:55Speaker 1: many fun, inspiring, outgoing people that really keep it fresh
- 30:59Speaker 1: and keep you motivated. And from cycling and strength training

- 31:31Speaker 1: learn more. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I've got
- 31:36Speaker 1: the behind the Hollywood juice from the podcast Hollywood Raw.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I have Dax Holt, Adam Glenn. Am I saying it right?
- 31:46Speaker 3: You're saying it right.
- 31:47Speaker 1: And you've got cute dimples. Nice to see you again.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Thank you. I know you guys have done your show
- 31:54Speaker 1: and we just want to get into some like Juicy
- 31:56Speaker 1: Scoop history. You guys are... Tell us about your background
- 32:00Speaker 1: because you are still... a paparazzi person.
- 32:04Speaker 5: Sure.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I call myself a street journalist and it's honestly same
- 32:08Speaker 3: thing as a paparazzi, but like you said, sexy, but
- 32:10Speaker 3: it's just way too, the word paparazzi is just not
- 32:13Speaker 3: the most prettiest term. So I call myself a journalist
- 32:15Speaker 3: because I don't feel like a paparazzi for the stuff
- 32:17Speaker 3: I do for the content I get. I'm trying to
- 32:20Speaker 3: get sound bites, but it's more of like not much dirt.
- 32:23Speaker 3: It's more of like trying to have a fun conversation.
- 32:25Speaker 3: For example, like, as you know, if I reached out
- 32:27Speaker 3: to oprah's people if i reached out to uh adam
- 32:31Speaker 3: sandler's people if i reached out to brad pitt's people
- 32:32Speaker 3: and said hey i want to interview them as you
- 32:34Speaker 3: know the first person picking up the phone would say
- 32:36Speaker 3: sorry we're not interested click and hang up the phone
- 32:38Speaker 3: but i realized if i get to them if i
- 32:40Speaker 3: find them they will talk to me and that's what
- 32:42Speaker 3: i do is i run around new york city i'm
- 32:44Speaker 3: based in new york city and i run around trying
- 32:46Speaker 3: to cross paths with celebrities and once i do i
- 32:48Speaker 3: try to have a fun engaging interview and then what
- 32:50Speaker 3: i do is i monetize it by licensing it to
- 32:52Speaker 3: different media outlets around the world Okay.
- 32:55Speaker 1: So you're just like you're independent.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I'm independent for sure. You're not with TMZ. I'm not
- 32:58Speaker 3: with TMZ. I was with TMZ. So my backstory, I
- 33:00Speaker 3: was with TMZ for years. I'm a stand-up comic. Went
- 33:02Speaker 3: to school for PR. Couldn't get a job anywhere. Went
- 33:04Speaker 3: back to school. Got my teaching certification. Couldn't get a
- 33:06Speaker 3: job anywhere. And then in 2009, I did a show
- 33:09Speaker 3: in New York City as a stand-up comic. Someone in
- 33:12Speaker 3: the crowd said, you seem funny, not threatening. You know
- 33:14Speaker 3: pop culture. Would you be interested in a job at TMZ?
- 33:16Speaker 3: I said, listen, I'll do anything for health insurance. The
- 33:19Speaker 3: next day, pretty much, they introduced me to someone. Got
- 33:22Speaker 3: a job with TMZ and they threw a camera in
- 33:23Speaker 3: my hand. They said, let's see what you could do.
- 33:25Speaker 3: They gave me a two-week contract. In two weeks, I
- 33:27Speaker 3: had two interviews. I didn't get arrested. And then they
- 33:30Speaker 3: offered me a three-year contract. And then that's been– I
- 33:32Speaker 3: started with TMZ, worked there for over seven years. And
- 33:35Speaker 3: now I'm on my own running around the streets of
- 33:36Speaker 3: New York City doing celebrity interviews.
- 33:38Speaker 1: And when did you and Dax fall in love?
- 33:41Speaker 5: Let's see. When did we fall in love?
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 5: No. So I would say we both kind of left TMZ.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Let me clarify. You guys are not a couple.
- 33:47Speaker 6: No.
- 33:47Speaker 5: No. I mean we would be a cute couple. Don't
- 33:49Speaker 5: get me wrong.
- 33:50Speaker 7: Yeah. No. No.
- 33:51Speaker 5: We both left TMZ kind of around the same time,
- 33:54Speaker 5: maybe a year apart or so. We didn't even really
- 33:56Speaker 5: talk when we were at TMZ. We weren't friends. We
- 33:58Speaker 5: just kind of knew of each other. And then afterwards,
- 34:01Speaker 5: you know, this podcast opportunity came up and we decided,
- 34:04Speaker 5: you know what? We're both good. We like to talk.
- 34:06Speaker 5: We like to talk. We got good stories. Let's join
- 34:08Speaker 5: forces and make this podcast. And that's kind of honestly
- 34:11Speaker 5: when we started. Now we talk five times a day.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, we have different backgrounds. Dax's role at
- 34:17Speaker 3: TMZ was to you know, go through all the photography agencies,
- 34:21Speaker 3: all the paparazzi agencies, see the photos before they get
- 34:23Speaker 3: to the public. So he had basically determined as the
- 34:26Speaker 3: photo editor.
- 34:26Speaker 5: It was the most voyeuristic job you could ever imagine,
- 34:29Speaker 5: constantly going through all these websites. I mean, you're seeing
- 34:32Speaker 5: every photo that people would like to see before they're edited,
- 34:36Speaker 5: before they're blurred, before they're black barred, everything. I have
- 34:39Speaker 5: a question.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Being that Lisa Renna is being sued for like a
- 34:42Speaker 1: million something money because she apparently threw up a photo
- 34:46Speaker 1: of herself.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:47Speaker 1: That was taken by someone else on Instagram, which, um,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I kind of this, you know, I, I want to
- 34:54Speaker 1: know the rules for people like me and other people. What, what,
- 34:58Speaker 1: you know, I think people, I don't think that was
- 35:00Speaker 1: an intent where she was trying to screw over this photographer,
- 35:04Speaker 1: but like, if something like that happens and you know,
- 35:08Speaker 1: and there's like, before it gets to a lawsuit thing,
- 35:10Speaker 1: what is the person supposed to do? Find that photographer
- 35:13Speaker 1: and immediately be like, What do I need to do
- 35:15Speaker 1: to buy this?
- 35:16Speaker 5: My suggestion, especially if it's a big celeb, find out
- 35:20Speaker 5: who took it, whatever agency it's from, and tag the agency.
- 35:24Speaker 5: You're more likely to not get in trouble if you
- 35:26Speaker 5: tag the agency, give them some kind of credit, give
- 35:28Speaker 5: them a photo credit tag, whatever it is. I'm not
- 35:31Speaker 5: saying that's right, but I'm saying you're less likely to
- 35:34Speaker 5: get a lawsuit because you've got to realize that is
- 35:36Speaker 5: their business. Their business is to make money off photographs.
- 35:39Speaker 5: So if they see their photo come up and they
- 35:41Speaker 5: know that you didn't license, you didn't talk to them,
- 35:44Speaker 5: They're most likely going to come after you to get money.
- 35:46Speaker 5: And it might be some crazy amount because they know
- 35:50Speaker 5: they're not going to get that amount. They're going to
- 35:51Speaker 5: get something less.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Okay, so let's say you go on the red carpet
- 35:55Speaker 1: doing something. And the next day I go to Getty
- 35:58Speaker 1: and I look up Heather McDonald and I'm like, I
- 36:00Speaker 1: really like this photo. And it's like, whatever, $ 450. But
- 36:04Speaker 1: wouldn't I have to, the proper thing to do is
- 36:07Speaker 1: to buy that photo for $ 450 so I own it.
- 36:11Speaker 5: You license it technically. You don't even own it. You're
- 36:14Speaker 5: licensing it.
- 36:14Speaker 1: So I license it and then I can put it
- 36:17Speaker 1: on my Instagram.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Or if you want to just try to be nice
- 36:20Speaker 3: and try to play cool with the photographer, usually the
- 36:22Speaker 3: photographer's name is below. Reach out to them. Say, hey, listen,
- 36:25Speaker 3: would you mind if I use this photo? I'll tag you.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I mean celebrities will reach out to photographers, paparazzi all
- 36:30Speaker 3: the time and say, hey, listen, would you mind if
- 36:31Speaker 3: I post this photo? I'll tag you. majority of photographers
- 36:34Speaker 3: will say, yeah, that's cool, thanks, because they don't mind.
- 36:36Speaker 3: They appreciate you actually.
- 36:37Speaker 5: Asking rather than taking.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Because if you just put the photo on Instagram, then
- 36:40Speaker 3: an outlet could take that photo from Instagram and say, hey,
- 36:43Speaker 3: we just got it from Instagram. It's sort of like,
- 36:44Speaker 3: do you understand?
- 36:45Speaker 1: Yes, yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Okay, so yeah.
- 36:46Speaker 5: You're working the system and you'll notice like.
- 36:48Speaker 1: But also, it's like, you're not supposed to have the
- 36:50Speaker 1: Getty image watermark, right?
- 36:52Speaker 5: No. You're technically stealing the photo.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Right, yeah.
- 36:54Speaker 5: But, like, you'll notice, like, the Kardashians, they used to
- 36:56Speaker 5: steal all the time, put up these photos, and they'd
- 36:58Speaker 5: be like, well, what the heck? This is my image
- 37:00Speaker 5: that you're using to make money. I should be able
- 37:02Speaker 5: to post my own image. It, unfortunately, doesn't work that way.
- 37:06Speaker 5: And so they got in trouble enough that now you'll
- 37:09Speaker 5: notice they tag, they credit, they got slapped on the wrist,
- 37:12Speaker 5: and they'll give the little credits.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Someone just DMed me and was like, have you noticed
- 37:17Speaker 1: that now Kylie is only using her own photographers. She's
- 37:21Speaker 1: bringing her photographers everywhere. I mean, I don't think she
- 37:23Speaker 1: could control the Met Ball steps, but, like, she... I
- 37:27Speaker 1: think that's why she didn't go to... This is what
- 37:28Speaker 1: this person said. That's why she didn't go to the
- 37:30Speaker 1: Hulu premiere. Like, she, I think, wants to have a little...
- 37:34Speaker 1: have more control, I guess.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Well, there's a lot of big stars that will have
- 37:38Speaker 5: their own photographer that follows them around, takes pictures, and
- 37:41Speaker 5: they will then give those photos to the agencies. Oh, okay.
- 37:45Speaker 5: And so... Technically, they own the rights to them, but
- 37:47Speaker 5: then they can still be distributed out throughout all the websites,
- 37:50Speaker 5: the magazines, and they control the narrative.
- 37:52Speaker 3: They can also make sure the photo looks good. They
- 37:54Speaker 3: can filter a little bit.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:55Speaker 5: Airbrush some of the stuff.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Right. Yeah. But actually, as photographers, coming from the photographer's
- 38:02Speaker 3: point of view, they hope that a brand takes their
- 38:05Speaker 3: photo without letting them know because that actually is more money.
- 38:09Speaker 3: There's companies like Ocularity and lawyers type things that they
- 38:12Speaker 3: look online for people who use their content without their permission.
- 38:15Speaker 3: And they hope that a brand takes their photo without
- 38:17Speaker 3: asking them because then I can actually charge them double
- 38:19Speaker 3: and make more money than that. So it's a wild thing.
- 38:22Speaker 3: But that's just what it's come down to now with
- 38:24Speaker 3: social media and the photos getting out there. All right.
- 38:26Speaker 1: I want to ask you about some of the juicy
- 38:28Speaker 1: interviews that you've done. I remember hearing that one with Larsa.
- 38:33Speaker 5: That was a good interview.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I was super intrigued. It was before we saw Larsa
- 38:39Speaker 1: Pippen on The Return of Real Housewives of Miami, which
- 38:42Speaker 1: I watched. And as we know, Larsa was just, you know,
- 38:46Speaker 1: best friends with Kim for many years. And it was always, like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: I felt like the internet was, like, also, like, people
- 38:54Speaker 1: involved in this world would be like, ugh, stop trying
- 38:57Speaker 1: to make Larsa happen. Like, people were almost annoyed how
- 39:00Speaker 1: much she was always just, like, peripherally with the girls
- 39:04Speaker 1: or whatever. And so, but it was sort of interesting to...
- 39:08Speaker 1: To hear her side. And so I know what my
- 39:12Speaker 1: opinion was after hearing it. But why don't you guys
- 39:15Speaker 1: tell me what you thought as you were talking to
- 39:16Speaker 1: her as far as like what happened with the friendship?
- 39:19Speaker 3: Well, I think first off, like Larsa Pippen's like was
- 39:23Speaker 3: before the interview was like an illusion to me. You
- 39:25Speaker 3: saw her photos all over online. You saw her on
- 39:27Speaker 3: Daily Mail pretty much every day. But I don't think
- 39:29Speaker 3: I ever heard her voice. I was like, what's this
- 39:30Speaker 3: girl's deal? I don't know what's going on. And then
- 39:33Speaker 3: when we reached out to do the interview, she was
- 39:35Speaker 3: honestly on time, which you always respect, appreciate. And also
- 39:39Speaker 3: super chill. Like, so cool.
- 39:41Speaker 5: So relaxed.
- 39:41Speaker 2: So nice.
- 39:42Speaker 3: So down to earth.
- 39:42Speaker 5: We made her move her camera around her house because
- 39:45Speaker 5: there was no light. And we're like, can you move here? No,
- 39:47Speaker 5: we can't here. It's too echoey. Your house is too big. Okay,
- 39:49Speaker 5: move to this other room. she was so cool and
- 39:51Speaker 5: I didn't expect that from her at all.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And how did you guys get the interview and why
- 39:55Speaker 1: do you think she decided to talk to you guys?
- 39:57Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 39:58Speaker 5: We had a mutual friend that kind of was our intermediary.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Can we say who it was? Do you think they care? Shiraz.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Do you know who Shiraz is? You ever see that
- 40:07Speaker 3: guy who drives around LA and he's got the fame
- 40:08Speaker 3: truck all around?
- 40:09Speaker 5: No.
- 40:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Sounds like a fun person.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Sounds like a person who'd be kind of messing with
- 40:14Speaker 3: that circle.
- 40:16Speaker 5: He's awesome and he was the one that put us
- 40:18Speaker 5: in contact and She said, okay. And so we sat
- 40:21Speaker 5: down and had this amazing conversation. It was probably our
- 40:25Speaker 5: first interview where someone really opened up and got us, like,
- 40:28Speaker 5: wild press. I don't think I'd ever seen so much
- 40:30Speaker 5: press on a podcast before that. And, you know, she
- 40:35Speaker 5: dove into Kanye West and saying how he brainwashed the
- 40:39Speaker 5: Kardashians against her. She said that I couldn't believe she
- 40:44Speaker 5: was going against the Kardashians, essentially. And that's what made
- 40:47Speaker 5: that such a big interview.
- 40:49Speaker 7: I mean, I.
- 40:50Speaker 1: From everything I gathered, it's like I think that she
- 40:55Speaker 1: was in one of those situations where her best friend, Kim,
- 41:01Speaker 1: was really sharing everything with her. And, like, Kanye realized
- 41:07Speaker 1: Kim was slipping away. And then Kanye was contacting her.
- 41:12Speaker 1: And she was sort of in the middle. And then.
- 41:17Speaker 5: Cut out?
- 41:18Speaker 1: Yeah. And then it's almost like– which is why it's
- 41:21Speaker 1: so hard when you're in that position with your girlfriend
- 41:23Speaker 1: and her spouse. And we've all– girls have all been there.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Because it's like you might– you're hearing your friend cry
- 41:30Speaker 1: and everything and your advice might be like get out,
- 41:33Speaker 1: get out. And then they stay in it and they're
- 41:36Speaker 1: like embarrassed that they're still with this person that they,
- 41:40Speaker 1: you know– Vented about and everything. And so they'd rather
- 41:45Speaker 1: not even see the friend that was consoling them all
- 41:48Speaker 1: that time. And so then I think also what happened
- 41:51Speaker 1: was then he was grasping at, at her to see
- 41:55Speaker 1: if like sometimes how he could get in her brain
- 41:58Speaker 1: to like have her convince. Like, I think it was
- 42:01Speaker 1: just a messy thing like that. I don't think like
- 42:03Speaker 1: Kanye was, Ever trying to sleep with her or vice versa. Like,
- 42:06Speaker 1: I don't think it was like that.
- 42:07Speaker 5: She never made it sound like that.
- 42:08Speaker 1: No, no.
- 42:08Speaker 5: She made it sound like they had a good friendship.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Her and Kanye is who I'm referring to had a
- 42:12Speaker 5: good friendship.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 42:14Speaker 5: And that he would talk to her about their dramas
- 42:16Speaker 5: and this and that. And I agree with you. I
- 42:17Speaker 5: think that it got nasty and Kanye looked at Kim
- 42:20Speaker 5: and said, you need to get rid of her. She's
- 42:22Speaker 5: the weak link. Not us. Not how our relationship is doing.
- 42:25Speaker 5: Get Larsa out. And I am curious if Larsa and
- 42:28Speaker 5: Kim will reconnect now that Kanye is out of the picture.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I mean, listen, you know, Chris was– she's had close
- 42:36Speaker 1: friends and not been friends with them. And then like
- 42:38Speaker 1: Faye Resnick, for example. Like they were super close during
- 42:41Speaker 1: the OJ tragedy. And then there was a chunk of
- 42:45Speaker 1: time when they weren't. And then now they are again.
- 42:47Speaker 1: So it's like I definitely think they're very forgiving. But
- 42:51Speaker 1: I also think they don't really need friends. Mm-hmm. The
- 42:55Speaker 1: girls don't need friends. They have sisters. And so when
- 42:59Speaker 1: something happens like with Jordan Woods, is that her name? Yeah,
- 43:03Speaker 1: Jordan Woods.
- 43:05Speaker 7: I was talking about it and I kept talking about
- 43:07Speaker 7: saying Jordan Sparks and people were like, what are you
- 43:10Speaker 7: talking about?
- 43:10Speaker 1: So with Jordan Woods, she and Kylie were best friends.
- 43:16Speaker 1: But when that whole thing got awful messy with Tristan
- 43:20Speaker 1: and everything, the friendship ended and I just think like,
- 43:25Speaker 1: okay like kylie was like so mature about it she
- 43:27Speaker 1: was just like yeah i think maybe we're like a
- 43:30Speaker 1: little too codependent talking maybe it'll be you know it's
- 43:33Speaker 1: okay like let's just and she moved on and found
- 43:36Speaker 1: another best friend that now stassi or whatever yeah but
- 43:39Speaker 1: the in the end she doesn't need anybody like you
- 43:41Speaker 1: always have a sister to hang out with yeah and
- 43:44Speaker 1: i think that's where like if you're close with them
- 43:46Speaker 1: or an employee of theirs you just have to know
- 43:49Speaker 1: you're not Blood is always going to be thicker than water.
- 43:52Speaker 3: That's like the theme of the show. That is the show.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Sisters over everything.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, you just, you know, and it doesn't
- 43:57Speaker 1: mean that they don't wish you well or whatever, but
- 43:59Speaker 1: it's like, people always want to think it's like so
- 44:01Speaker 1: sinister if they cut someone out. And it's like, well,
- 44:05Speaker 1: we were this, sometimes when you're so close, you can't
- 44:08Speaker 1: then step back and be like, well, instead of talking
- 44:11Speaker 1: four times a day, let's keep our friendship, but only
- 44:15Speaker 1: have lunch once a month. It just doesn't work like that.
- 44:18Speaker 1: It's like, just because it's a platonic friendship isn't, Just
- 44:21Speaker 1: like a romantic one. You sometimes just can't be in
- 44:23Speaker 1: touch with, you know.
- 44:25Speaker 3: How do you stay friends with them? I mean, how
- 44:26Speaker 3: do you have a long relationship? Like Lala. Lala Anthony
- 44:29Speaker 3: has been friends with, you know, Kim for years. And
- 44:32Speaker 3: I feel like it's a good friendship. Lala was just
- 44:34Speaker 3: on the red carpet.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I think she is friends with a lot of famous people.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And I think she handles it really, really well. And
- 44:42Speaker 1: I think she never oversteps the line.
- 44:44Speaker 3: There's a line now.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I think she has her own path. I don't think
- 44:47Speaker 1: she would want to be the BFF anymore. And it's
- 44:50Speaker 1: like a perfect thing. And I don't think they talk
- 44:53Speaker 1: 12 times a day.
- 44:53Speaker 5: And if you're not looking for the fame, that's a
- 44:55Speaker 5: big thing too. Lala's got her own fame. She doesn't
- 44:58Speaker 5: need to be a part of the Kardashian fame. She's
- 45:00Speaker 5: got her own thing going. And I think that's the difference.
- 45:03Speaker 5: When you're there and you're on the peripheral, as you
- 45:05Speaker 5: said before, there's going to be a point where they go,
- 45:08Speaker 5: we don't need all these Klingons. We're going to move on.
- 45:11Speaker 1: And I did kind of feel for Larsa in it
- 45:13Speaker 1: too because I'm like, Yeah, to the people at home,
- 45:15Speaker 1: it looked like you were, you know, a thirsty girl
- 45:18Speaker 1: that sounded just like her and spoke just like her.
- 45:21Speaker 1: But she still had four kids. That was still always
- 45:25Speaker 1: going to be her priority. But it did kind of
- 45:27Speaker 1: be like, God, why were you on the show so much?
- 45:30Speaker 1: And weren't you living in Miami? Like, how the hell
- 45:32Speaker 1: did this? Like, it did seem like she dedicated a
- 45:35Speaker 1: lot of her life to that friendship because Kim is
- 45:39Speaker 1: who Kim is.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Do you think?
- 45:41Speaker 3: Which was bothering Kim was her getting photographed all the
- 45:43Speaker 3: time and her reaching out to the paparazzi and setting
- 45:46Speaker 3: up shots, like being seen all over Daily Mail because
- 45:49Speaker 3: she was, besides the sex tape, going down the same
- 45:51Speaker 3: route as Kim Kardashian to become famous and become a figure.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think with some of it is,
- 45:59Speaker 1: like I always remember there was like an assistant or
- 46:01Speaker 1: something of Kim's and it was like how to be
- 46:03Speaker 1: Kim's assistant and she was a girl that you saw
- 46:05Speaker 1: on the show and she had a lot of style
- 46:06Speaker 1: and started to get her own following and everything and
- 46:09Speaker 1: she did this big interview in some magazine. And, um,
- 46:14Speaker 1: and then shortly after that, the, the relationship ended professionally,
- 46:19Speaker 1: but now I think she kind of came back in
- 46:20Speaker 1: the fold at a certain point, but it was sort
- 46:23Speaker 1: of like, she probably approved that interview, Kim, but then
- 46:28Speaker 1: the interview was too much like this person's now their
- 46:32Speaker 1: own thing. Yet the whole interview is about me. And
- 46:36Speaker 1: I think she probably was like, yeah, go for it.
- 46:38Speaker 1: And then when she sat back, she was like, you
- 46:40Speaker 1: know what? I'm not comfortable with this anymore.
- 46:43Speaker 5: I got to say, I liked Larsa so much more
- 46:46Speaker 5: after this interview.
- 46:47Speaker 3: She's cool.
- 46:47Speaker 5: She was awesome. She was just so honest and open.
- 46:50Speaker 5: And I loved every second of it. And I think
- 46:54Speaker 5: that she gained a lot of respect from people after it.
- 46:56Speaker 1: I mean, she was really good on the Miami show.
- 46:59Speaker 1: And they were coming after her, always trying to get
- 47:02Speaker 1: her to talk about the Kardashians. They're like, did you
- 47:05Speaker 1: sign an NDA or something? I don't know if she did,
- 47:07Speaker 1: but she doesn't want to get shit. She doesn't want
- 47:09Speaker 1: to say the wrong thing. She'd be put in like
- 47:11Speaker 1: a position where the cameras were there and she'd literally
- 47:14Speaker 1: have to leave because the girls were so relentless, which
- 47:17Speaker 1: I'm sure they were being pushed by the producers, to
- 47:20Speaker 1: get her to talk about them. And she knew like,
- 47:24Speaker 1: you know, and that's happened to me too. Like when
- 47:25Speaker 1: I was like hanging out with them a lot, I'd
- 47:27Speaker 1: be so excited because I'd have my book out and
- 47:29Speaker 1: this and that and I'd be rarely on the red carpet.
- 47:31Speaker 1: When I would, like an okay magazine would be like, So,
- 47:36Speaker 1: my gosh, Heather, it's so exciting. You know, you have
- 47:38Speaker 1: your book out and da-da-da-da, like that. And then they'd, like, ask, like,
- 47:42Speaker 1: one thing, like, and then, oh, and you, you know,
- 47:45Speaker 1: you're out with the Kardashians, da-da-da. And then I'd, like,
- 47:48Speaker 1: answer that. And then that would be the whole interview.
- 47:51Speaker 1: And then I always felt like to them it looks like, oh,
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'm using them for press. Yeah. But the reporter kind
- 47:57Speaker 1: of tricks you. Into, you know, they make it feel
- 48:00Speaker 1: like it's about you and you're all like, and I'm
- 48:02Speaker 1: sure they did that to Larsa all the time. And
- 48:03Speaker 1: then God forbid you slip and speak too much. Now
- 48:07Speaker 1: they're pissed. And you're like, but I was, Speaking so
- 48:10Speaker 1: highly of you. Like, I wasn't even saying a bad thing. Yeah.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And that's why, like, then later on, once I learned,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I was like, people would be like, and is there
- 48:17Speaker 1: anything we can't ask you? And I'd be like, yeah,
- 48:18Speaker 1: don't ask me about Chelsea and don't ask me about
- 48:20Speaker 1: the Kardashians. Because, like.
- 48:22Speaker 5: It doesn't go well for me.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Yeah, then all of a sudden I look like the chasing, like,
- 48:26Speaker 1: thirsty person when it's just like. And I think that
- 48:28Speaker 1: would be my advice to people. Like Larsa and stuff. Like,
- 48:32Speaker 1: just put it out there when you do the interviews.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Just say, yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 3: When you were close with the Kardashian clan, did you
- 48:37Speaker 3: have to sign an NDA at all to become friends
- 48:39Speaker 3: with them? Or when you went into the house, no NDA?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Never any NDA ever.
- 48:43Speaker 3: That would get weird, I guess.
- 48:44Speaker 1: But it was a long time ago. Like, we both started, like,
- 48:49Speaker 1: Chelsea was on, we were on E! first, and I
- 48:52Speaker 1: was hired to be a writer on the show and
- 48:54Speaker 1: appear on it. And then their show started maybe, like,
- 48:58Speaker 1: five months after our show started. But I was just
- 49:01Speaker 1: friendly with them anyway. So I was, like, going to
- 49:03Speaker 1: Mother's Day and, like, you know, like at their house
- 49:07Speaker 1: and like, we were just like friends and I just
- 49:09Speaker 1: thought they were like so fun. And I was kind
- 49:11Speaker 1: of in between the ages of, of Chris and Kim
- 49:14Speaker 1: and Courtney. So it was like, I was kind of
- 49:16Speaker 1: friends with like all of them and it was just, yeah.
- 49:19Speaker 1: And so then and then the shows happened and like
- 49:21Speaker 1: we would, they would always come on our show and
- 49:24Speaker 1: we were always doing E things and upfronts and parties
- 49:27Speaker 1: and all that stuff. And then, yeah. And then times
- 49:30Speaker 1: pass and you're not seeing each other at, in a
- 49:32Speaker 1: work environment. And it's like, it's all good.
- 49:34Speaker 5: Yeah. Do you like what we just said to you?
- 49:36Speaker 5: We got you to talk about Chelsea and the Kardashians.
- 49:39Speaker 5: That's our voodoo magic right there.
- 49:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 1: But it's all good. But I like not being as
- 49:45Speaker 1: close to them because they are in the news so much.
- 49:47Speaker 1: And I do like giving my honest opinion and analyzing it.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Because like what we just said, I like taking pop
- 49:56Speaker 1: culture stuff like that, like a Larsa friendship breakup with Kim.
- 50:01Speaker 1: But then putting it to a place that anyone at
- 50:03Speaker 1: home can relate to. Like any married woman or anybody
- 50:07Speaker 1: in a serious relationship has been there where they've either
- 50:10Speaker 1: been the girlfriend that knew too much or you shared
- 50:13Speaker 1: too much. And then your friendships suffer because of it.
- 50:16Speaker 3: I will say this about the Kardashians, especially doing what
- 50:19Speaker 3: we all do. From my experiences, from your experiences, people
- 50:23Speaker 3: always ask me when I tell them what I do, like,
- 50:24Speaker 3: have you ever met the Kardashians? And I'll say this.
- 50:27Speaker 3: From my experience at least, they're one of the best celebrities.
- 50:30Speaker 3: They handle it very well. They're good to the photographers.
- 50:32Speaker 3: They're good to the fans. In my opinion, they're great.
- 50:36Speaker 3: People are like, no, Kim's awesome.
- 50:37Speaker 1: They're good people.
- 50:40Speaker 3: I talk shit about people, but Kim's actually a good person.
- 50:43Speaker 3: She's genuinely cool. She's chill. They're fun. They're great people.
- 50:47Speaker 3: We cover them a lot. We've had the bodyguard, Kim's
- 50:49Speaker 3: and Kanye's bodyguard on. We've had Larissa on.
- 50:52Speaker 1: And what was the scoop on the bodyguard?
- 50:54Speaker 5: Oh, the bodyguard was good. The bodyguard was there.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Now, is this the bodyguard that they... there was like
- 50:59Speaker 1: some controversy they were going after.
- 51:01Speaker 5: Yes, yes. He was like, he's an actor now, but
- 51:05Speaker 5: he talked about when he like first came into the scene,
- 51:08Speaker 5: he didn't know much about like what, you know, was
- 51:10Speaker 5: the deal with Kanye and Kanye was just kind of
- 51:12Speaker 5: being an asshole to him and would get in the
- 51:14Speaker 5: elevator day one and be like, push the button. He's like,
- 51:17Speaker 5: I don't know what floor we're going to. He's like, well,
- 51:19Speaker 5: why didn't you figure out before you got in here?
- 51:21Speaker 5: He's like, I literally just met you four seconds ago.
- 51:24Speaker 5: So there was a lot of, like, just these little
- 51:26Speaker 5: stories about a glimpse into what Kanye's really like behind
- 51:29Speaker 5: the scenes. And having to pick Kanye up off the
- 51:32Speaker 5: side of the freeway at 2 in the morning because
- 51:34Speaker 5: Kanye decided to have a meltdown and go out for
- 51:36Speaker 5: a walk. And so now this guy, his job is
- 51:39Speaker 5: to go find Kanye in the middle of the night
- 51:41Speaker 5: in New York. I mean, there was just story after
- 51:43Speaker 5: story where you saw the real side of Kanye, and
- 51:45Speaker 5: I think that's why that episode.
- 51:47Speaker 1: And what is your opinion, knowing all that you know?
- 51:49Speaker 5: I mean, of just Kanye in general?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Of Kanye in general.
- 51:52Speaker 5: I think he just has a really big personality. I
- 51:55Speaker 5: think he's a hard person to deal with. I think
- 51:57Speaker 5: he's a huge artist. And I think sometimes you get
- 52:00Speaker 5: into these artists where they're all about themselves. And I
- 52:03Speaker 5: think that's what Kanye is. I think he's all about.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Himself and his persona. I remember covering Kanye when he
- 52:10Speaker 3: was in New York and he was doing the Fashion
- 52:11Speaker 3: Week and he was performing at the Garden. It was
- 52:13Speaker 3: all week. And like you said, it sounds weird. Like
- 52:16Speaker 3: there's a lot of musicians out there. There's a lot
- 52:17Speaker 3: of– I hate to call some of these music acts artists.
- 52:20Speaker 3: But I actually do feel like he's an artist because
- 52:21Speaker 3: he does work very hard on it. So when he
- 52:23Speaker 3: had the fashion week, he was going to the gym
- 52:25Speaker 3: around like 10 in the morning or 8.30 in the
- 52:27Speaker 3: morning every day. He'd go to the gym in Equinox
- 52:29Speaker 3: in Soho and he would go there for about an
- 52:31Speaker 3: hour and a half. And then after that, he would
- 52:32Speaker 3: go to an office in Soho, work on the fashion
- 52:36Speaker 3: week until about 8 p.m. at night. Then at 8 p.m.,
- 52:38Speaker 3: race over to the Garden and then perform for a
- 52:40Speaker 3: sold-out show at the Garden. And then did it like
- 52:42Speaker 3: three nights in a row. I was like, this guy's
- 52:44Speaker 3: working his ass off. And I was like, I mean,
- 52:45Speaker 3: is he insane? Yeah, he's insane. But he does work hard.
- 52:48Speaker 5: He's a hard worker. We all know that he has
- 52:50Speaker 5: his own mental issues that he deals with. And I
- 52:53Speaker 5: don't want to downplay any of that. Sure. Best stuff
- 52:55Speaker 5: is obviously very important. But I think that he's a
- 52:58Speaker 5: hard personality to deal with on the outside of it.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely.
- 53:01Speaker 5: For anyone around him.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Not a bad guy, though, from my experience. Listen, again,
- 53:05Speaker 3: I like to talk shit. But he's actually like he's
- 53:08Speaker 3: from all the rappers I've been around. A lot of
- 53:10Speaker 3: rappers have big entourages. Kanye's usually just him, sometimes with
- 53:14Speaker 3: a bodyguard. Sometimes he's just him in a Mercedes car
- 53:17Speaker 3: in the backseat, just jumps out.
- 53:19Speaker 5: He did used to get mad at that same bodyguard
- 53:21Speaker 5: because the bodyguard would be in between him and the paparazzi.
- 53:24Speaker 5: He was like, get out of the way. They need
- 53:26Speaker 5: their photos. I need them to get their photos so
- 53:28Speaker 5: that I can be on the magazines.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Did you see what he did that about when he
- 53:33Speaker 1: was with Julia Fox for a minute? And everyone was like,
- 53:35Speaker 1: what is this? And someone caught the fact that he
- 53:37Speaker 1: was like, get out of the shot. I need to
- 53:40Speaker 1: get my– this is my moment. I'm coming to meet
- 53:42Speaker 1: my girl.
- 53:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:44Speaker 1: What did you think of that whole weird thing?
- 53:45Speaker 5: That was weird. I mean that was just a rebuttal, right,
- 53:48Speaker 5: to Kim and Pete. That's all that was, was I
- 53:50Speaker 5: need to make sure that I'm not looking like the
- 53:52Speaker 5: loser in this situation. We're separating. She's now seen off
- 53:55Speaker 5: with her SNL boyfriend, and I don't want to look
- 53:58Speaker 5: like the loser. So I'm going to find someone and
- 54:00Speaker 5: mold her and get everyone to talk about it.
- 54:02Speaker 3: He also put that out himself because that photo– I
- 54:05Speaker 3: was in Miami. I was actually the first one on
- 54:07Speaker 3: the scene– I was in Miami for a month and
- 54:09Speaker 3: it was Carbone right before New Year's roughly. And I
- 54:13Speaker 3: got a tip that Kanye was there. If you walk
- 54:14Speaker 3: into Carbone in Miami, we all know a lot of
- 54:16Speaker 3: celebrities go to Carbone. It's brand new in Miami. There's
- 54:18Speaker 3: the regular people on the right. There's a bar as
- 54:21Speaker 3: soon as you walk in and after the bar is
- 54:22Speaker 3: a private room. I walked in and there's a bodyguard
- 54:24Speaker 3: in front of like the door. So we all knew
- 54:26Speaker 3: that Kanye was in there. One other photographer showed up
- 54:30Speaker 3: outside and it's me and the other photographer. I'm like,
- 54:32Speaker 3: did you get him going in?
- 54:32Speaker 5: No.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Okay. And we saw the car, Kanye's car. The guy said, yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 3: I'm picking up Kanye. So all of a sudden when
- 54:38Speaker 3: Kanye is going to come out, he comes– the car
- 54:40Speaker 3: goes to the back of the restaurant. So I race
- 54:42Speaker 3: to the back of the restaurant, me and the photographer.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Kanye's photographer comes out. It's two of you. Guys, we're
- 54:46Speaker 3: not going to do shots tonight. I got the shot.
- 54:48Speaker 3: I'm like, well, we're here too. Like we're working. Like
- 54:50Speaker 3: we want to get the shot. Come on, guys. I'm
- 54:52Speaker 3: going to get the shot. He's like, all right. Know what?
- 54:54Speaker 3: Stay right here. What they do? They sneak him out
- 54:56Speaker 3: back out the front. But all of a sudden the
- 54:58Speaker 3: photo gets released exclusively to TMZ. They get the photo
- 55:01Speaker 3: and they knew who she was. How does a photo
- 55:04Speaker 3: of them like– showing her face and they knew who
- 55:06Speaker 3: that is. Like, Oh, that's Julia Fox. Like they just
- 55:09Speaker 3: knew who she was right away. And he was with
- 55:11Speaker 3: the photographer. Like they placed it out. She, I mean,
- 55:14Speaker 3: I clearly, he.
- 55:15Speaker 5: Wanted, he wanted the press.
- 55:16Speaker 3: He wanted the press.
- 55:17Speaker 5: We are not against working with paparazzi. We're not against
- 55:20Speaker 5: working with the media. By all means, do your thing.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Keep the narrative going. I think it works for everyone involved, right?
- 55:26Speaker 5: Like I'm not against it.
- 55:27Speaker 3: And I had some connections to Julia and I reached
- 55:29Speaker 3: out just out of curiosity. Hey, did you guys, and
- 55:31Speaker 3: she was like, yeah, that's what we did. We leaked
- 55:33Speaker 3: the photo. The funny part about that thing, about that
- 55:36Speaker 3: night was– so Pete and Kim were in town for
- 55:40Speaker 3: New Year's Eve. And I reached out to someone who
- 55:42Speaker 3: I know in the Kim camp and I said, hey,
- 55:44Speaker 3: just a heads up. Carbone is the hottest restaurant. Kanye
- 55:47Speaker 3: is here right now with a girl– like with some people.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Don't come to Carbone. Like it's going to be– you
- 55:51Speaker 3: think God like me would want to see that kind
- 55:53Speaker 3: of clash. However, I'm trying to get in with these people.
- 55:57Speaker 3: I want to give them the heads up saying like,
- 55:59Speaker 3: So– and they said actually we're ordering food from Carbone.
- 56:01Speaker 3: So they had their bodyguard pick up– Kim and Pete
- 56:04Speaker 3: sent a bodyguard to pick up food from Carbone. But
- 56:07Speaker 3: can you imagine if they all came and saw it?
- 56:08Speaker 3: I mean that would have been an amazing night.
- 56:10Speaker 5: You ruined it for the rest of us. I know.
- 56:11Speaker 4: I know.
- 56:11Speaker 5: I know.
- 56:12Speaker 3: But, dude, and I thought it would maybe help me out.
- 56:13Speaker 5: But it didn't do shit.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Oh, you know what I was thinking of how she
- 56:17Speaker 1: said how she didn't eat food for whatever, any carbs
- 56:20Speaker 1: for three weeks or whatever.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Helping us dress for the Met Gala.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Yes. But then I realized– Wasn't it three weeks ago?
- 56:26Speaker 1: Maybe it was longer. That she was in the gray
- 56:27Speaker 1: dress at the Hulu thing. And then they went to
- 56:30Speaker 1: the Johnny and Vinny's and they had those Diet Coke photos.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I forgot about that. Well, I guess she didn't eat
- 56:36Speaker 1: any of that pizza.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:38Speaker 5: No.
- 56:38Speaker 3: She just stared at it.
- 56:39Speaker 5: Stared at it drooling.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Just drank the Diet Coke.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I was watching. I follow an Instagram account called House
- 56:47Speaker 1: of Habit. And she's like hardcore covering the Johnny Depp trial.
- 56:52Speaker 1: And she was noticing that, like, the new, her new
- 56:55Speaker 1: PR person was, like, she, like, zoomed in on him, like,
- 56:59Speaker 1: talking to the court photographer, then handing these notes to
- 57:04Speaker 1: the lawyer. Like, it's interesting how that even works in
- 57:08Speaker 1: a court of law, like, to get, because she's been
- 57:11Speaker 1: getting such, the crowd is not for Amber Heard.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Oh, not at all.
- 57:16Speaker 5: We have one of our friends that has actually been
- 57:18Speaker 5: going to court. We keep having her come on. Her
- 57:20Speaker 5: name's Danielle. She's been going to the court, and so
- 57:23Speaker 5: we will get little updates from her, like, biweekly. Like, okay,
- 57:26Speaker 5: tell us what we didn't see on camera. Give us
- 57:29Speaker 5: those reports, because that's what we really want to know, is, like,
- 57:32Speaker 5: when they come in, do Amber and Johnny ever cross paths?
- 57:34Speaker 5: What is it like outside? You know, what are these
- 57:37Speaker 5: fans like? Oh, they're bringing alpacas outside for Johnny. Like,
- 57:40Speaker 5: the weirdest stuff. When did he say.
- 57:42Speaker 1: He was into alpacas?
- 57:43Speaker 4: I don't know!
- 57:43Speaker 1: I'm confused about the alpaca thing.
- 57:46Speaker 3: People are dressing like Captain Jack Sparrow trying to go
- 57:48Speaker 3: into a court. I mean, it's... Total, it's insane.
- 57:50Speaker 5: It's fun. It's an event. This is the best soap
- 57:53Speaker 5: opera you could ever ask for, right? There is no
- 57:56Speaker 5: bigger court case in the last 10 years. This one
- 57:59Speaker 5: is wild.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Johnny's getting confident. I feel like he's having, I wouldn't
- 58:03Speaker 3: say enjoying it.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Oh, he's enjoying it.
- 58:05Speaker 3: But I think he is.
- 58:06Speaker 1: He's 100% enjoying it.
- 58:08Speaker 3: He's laughing.
- 58:09Speaker 5: You know why? Because he's like, oh, my image, my
- 58:12Speaker 5: reputation has already been ruined. So I'm going to take
- 58:15Speaker 5: her down with me. I really think that was the whole.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Point of this whole case. I really feel like he
- 58:20Speaker 1: went for it thinking, what do I have to lose?
- 58:22Speaker 1: I have everything to gain.
- 58:23Speaker 7: Yep.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I have nothing to lose.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Part of me wonders, after watching that, what's that show
- 58:28Speaker 3: that was just on Netflix, the Anna show, the Anna Delvey?
- 58:31Speaker 1: Anna Delvey, yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Now with the fashion that she wore in the courtroom
- 58:35Speaker 3: and how important that was. I wonder if Amber's trying
- 58:37Speaker 3: to do the same thing, do the Anna.
- 58:38Speaker 5: She just keeps copying what he's wearing.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Yeah, she's copying what he's wearing.
- 58:40Speaker 3: I know, but it's pretty insane that we're calling this
- 58:42Speaker 3: out and she's still doing it.
- 58:43Speaker 1: It's crazy. Okay, yeah, you had a juicy one with
- 58:48Speaker 1: Kristen Doughty. And that happened right after when?
- 58:52Speaker 5: Right after she was fired from Vanderpump Rules.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Okay, so how did you get that one?
- 58:57Speaker 5: That one, I don't remember how we got that. I'm
- 59:00Speaker 5: trying to think.
- 59:00Speaker 3: We just reached out.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Because that was a big story. You've got to remember. No,
- 59:05Speaker 5: I do. That was a huge, huge story. And so
- 59:07Speaker 5: we were like, you know what? We keep breaking these
- 59:09Speaker 5: big stories. Do you want to come on and talk
- 59:11Speaker 5: for the first time? We'll give you the platform to
- 59:13Speaker 5: tell your side of the story. And she came on.
- 59:15Speaker 3: We also said that we can't come in. We won't
- 59:17Speaker 3: come with a bias, but we're going to be asking everything.
- 59:20Speaker 5: We're going to ask you tough questions.
- 59:21Speaker 3: We're going to ask you tough questions, but we're not
- 59:22Speaker 3: going to come with an angle. It's not gotcha, but
- 59:25Speaker 3: we'll give you a platform. We're just curious how it
- 59:27Speaker 3: all goes down from Explain to us what happened. Explain
- 59:30Speaker 3: to us how it is when you get fired from Bravo.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Like how do you find out? Like everyone's got– not
- 59:35Speaker 3: everyone's got– She said she.
- 59:36Speaker 5: Found out literally five minutes before the world did. Like
- 59:38Speaker 5: they had already leaked it out to whatever news site
- 59:42Speaker 5: broke it. So she was reading it and then five
- 59:45Speaker 5: minutes later the whole world knew she was fired. Her
- 59:48Speaker 5: big thing was– look. I get why they were so upset.
- 59:52Speaker 5: I just wish I could have learned my lesson on
- 59:55Speaker 5: television and that could have been an informative broadcast for
- 59:59Speaker 5: everyone involved. She's like, I just wish that this could
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: have been a learning moment for everyone rather than just
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: fire me, get rid of me, and now I'm done for.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You know, it was just so unfortunate for so many
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: reasons because it was just the world was just... And
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: then it was... Wait, did they get fired before COVID
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: or like during COVID? It was right before. It was
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: right before, but then COVID happened. So, like, there wasn't
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: even that opportunity to film any of them doing this.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: It just, yeah.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: She was wonderful. You know the crazy story that we
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: just heard the other day? That Meghan Markle checked out
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: our podcast.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Checked out? What do you mean?
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: She listened to our podcast.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Oh, she listened to it. I thought you meant she
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: checked out her own podcast.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: No, this, like, blew my mind that Meghan Markle... So
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: we had Simon Rex. We had Simon Rex on.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Well, she must be listening to Juicy Skip, too, then.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Of course.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: I'm sure she is. No, we had Simon Rex on
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: a while ago, and he had this whole story that
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: he told us about how some, so they used to
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: co-star in some show together, and then there was rumors
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: that they dated. Well, right before the royal wedding, one
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: of the big tabloids reached out to him and said,
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: we'll pay you 70,000, I don't know if it was dollars, euros, pounds,
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: I don't know what it was, 70,000. to lie and
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: say you slept with her. And he came on our
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: podcast and said, I wouldn't do it. It broke the story.
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: She apparently listened to the podcast and wrote him a
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: thank you note about the whole thing and saying thank
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: you for standing by your morals and not telling these
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: lies just for a quick paycheck. And I thought, that
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: blew my mind.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Also, that kind of info really kind of validates The
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: hell that they were put through with these tabloids and
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: chasing the stories and chasing the father and all that
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: other stuff. I read just somewhere that one of her
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Netflix shows, didn't they have a podcast, she and Harry?
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: They did. And did it ever come to anything? Because
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: I heard another show of hers.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: We thought the Harry and Oprah thing, they were working
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: on something.
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: But her Netflix show just got canned, right?
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like a childhood thing. What do you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: mean Netflix is hurting?
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: They're losing subscribers.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Oh, give me the scoop. I don't know.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: They should have asked me to be in Netflix is
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: a joke comedy festival.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: HBO Max is like blowing up and Netflix is losing
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: tons of subscribers. And so it's been a whole story.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: I personally don't agree. I love Netflix. I don't know why.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: I think it's kind of like that herd mentality where
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: people hear like, oh, Netflix isn't cool. So we're all
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: going to say it's not cool and start unsubscribing. But
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: they've lost a lot of subscribers because people share their passwords.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: And so the scriber number is going down and down,
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: and it's hurting them, and they're having to cancel a
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: lot of big shows that they were planning on.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Interesting. Well, you know, there is a lot, and it's
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: like one of those things where you sometimes have to evaluate,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you know, how many things you're going to subscribe to.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: And HBO Max, I do like. I also like Hulu.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I just kind of go, what's the hot thing? I
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: mean— I'm fortunately not in a place where I have
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to cancel or steal someone's password, but like, I don't
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: blame people for do I get it. You know, I'm
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: sure if I was like 22 or something, I'd be
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: down for doing that. But, um, Oh, that's okay.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Cause they were supposed to have all these big deals.
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: I mean, they were going to spend a ton of
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: money on those two. That was, I guess, supposed to
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: kind of, you know, I have to.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I have to say, and I'm sorry, Megan, cause you're listening,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: but I think that's probably the wise thing. I don't,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I never, I didn't think, I was like, I mean,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: it kind of just pissed me off because at that time, like,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you know, everyone's getting millions of dollars to do a
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: podcast and a celebrity's getting millions. I'm like, why? Under
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: what basis? Like, what, oh, come up with content. Well,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: when were you a producer before, Megan? Like, you're a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: pretty girl and you're a decent actress and I think
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you're a smart woman, but like, I'm sorry, are you Shondaland? Like,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: why would you give someone that? And him, too. Why
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: would you give two of those people to go, oh,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you have a whole list of things that you can do?
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: What is your opinion on Meghan Markle? Because she gets
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: a lot of shit. Like, a lot.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I'm a fan of the fact that she has an
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: awful half-sister. I can relate to awful, dysfunctional sibling relationships.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: And jealous siblings. And for that, I feel like that sucked.
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: But do you think she deserves the hate that she
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: gets around the world? I've never met her personally. I
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: don't know what she's like behind closed doors. I hear
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: all these stories. I don't know if they're true stories.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: We're sitting here talking about how the press was trying
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: to manipulate stories to make her look worse.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I think she's a pleasant girl.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I think she had nice parents. She went to an
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: all-girl Catholic high school, which I went to a very
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: similar one, so I related to that. She's an L.A. girl.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: She was raised here. And honestly, I wouldn't want to
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: live in London either. What happens when you're raised in
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Southern California is it's very hard for you to live
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: anywhere else. And that's why I tell people, be careful
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: where you want to send your kid at 18. If
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: they're Southern California pussies, they are not going to be
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: able to, most of them will not be able to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: love and thrive on the East Coast. And that's just
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: a fact.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: But why did it go from.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: Loving her, like, I felt like the world loved her,
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: and then the world hated her. And I just don't
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: know what happened. What was it?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I don't think it's the world. I mean, I think
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: that people still like felt for her, but I think
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: the truth is she got in that situation and it
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: was like, you don't, all of a sudden you went
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: from going to Soho house and Soho and Nobu in Malibu,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: doing some TV, flying, maybe having a hot rendezvous with
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Prince of the Prince, planning the wedding. And now you're
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in a cold, musty place and your girlfriends aren't there
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: and you aren't acting. And I just think it was a...
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I think it's a big bummer. It's like it's the
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: old princess in the castle. It's not that great. It's
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: just not that great. And so in that, she may
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: have then been struggling, which then reflected on the people
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: around her judging her. And she just... I think she
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: kind of realized, I don't want this life.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: I just.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I don't want this life, but I want you. And
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: he was just like, okay, what do we have to do?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I guess, you know.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: He had to have been miserable, too.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: And then, okay, I guess we have to leave, you know?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: And then people blamed... How could you break up the brothers?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: And people always think that, too, about boys. It's the
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: wife that takes the boy from the mom. So I
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: think that people were just so sad because they saw
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: them as at least they had each other when Diana died.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: And now, who was it? Because they were okay with Kate,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: so it must be her that split them. And there's
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: so many theories of why... They're not close right now.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: But that part is sad.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: She's not completely innocent. Like she did have a little
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: bit of strategy to become the star she is. I
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: mean we had Jezzle on the podcast. Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: He's a really famous photographer.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Photographer. And he was dealing with her. I mean directly.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: I mean they were setting up photos. And this is
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: when she was– She was.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: An actress at the time.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: She was an actress.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: She wasn't dating him, I don't think, right?
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but she was working the system to get to
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: that level.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I kind of admire that because I didn't, and I'm
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: here talking to you guys.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: I mean, I didn't.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I never screwed anyone. I didn't date the right person.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I didn't, like, nothing. And, like, I kind of admire
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: people that.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yeah, or kind of figure it out. And, you know,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you call it a shortcut, whatever. Call it being thirsty.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: It's like even if you did sleep with someone to
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: get the part. Like I always say, like, where's the women?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: When will the people come out and go, I agreed
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to sleep with Weinstein or whoever. Because I knew that
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: was the only way to get this part. Once I
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: got the part, I never had to sleep with another
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: gross pig again. Because everyone saw what a good actress
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I was. But how was anyone going to see what
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: a good actress I was until I got this platform?
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: So I used what I had, and I said an
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: art father, and I got fucking through it. There's a
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: million women like that. No one will say it. And
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm waiting for that woman on her deathbed or whatever
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: that embraces it.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: And just says it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: So many women, switch the subjects a little bit. Harvey Weinstein.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: A lot of women came forward saying, oh, I said no.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: He came on to me. I said no. There's a
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: lot of girls who said yes.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: And there's a few of them. Like, who got big
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: roles who actually sucked at them. I used to mess
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: with Harvey Weinstein.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Well, that's what I'm saying. I was always saying, like,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: there's no way that every single person that he went
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: for resisted. There were enough along the way that complied.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: Sure.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: And they're not bad people, whatever, and it might have
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: been a really horrible experience for them. But, you know,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: but also they might have gotten something great and might
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: have known about it as being a step to get
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: to their goal quicker and didn't really care and didn't
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: see it as... you know, whatever.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: I wish those women came forward. That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: I want to hear their perspective on another angle and
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: I don't judge them for it. I sort of get it.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Because the fear of how to provide for your family
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: or your life and you have this opportunity.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: It's a hard industry.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Or just wanting to get a part.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: Wanting to get ahead.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: When you are trying to get those parts and it's
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the only way, you know... this before, this before you
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: can make it in podcasting. Like when you, the only
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: way was to get a casting agent or someone or
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: an agent to say yes to you. And you hear
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: so many, so many no's, no's, no's, and you're getting
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: older and you're like, what is, what is the chance
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: of me now ever like getting to that place that
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I imagined? Well, this is, this is going to jump
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: from here to here. So do you want to take
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the jump or do you want to like Hope that
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: someone's going to say yes in the proper way. Maybe
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: your friend is like, this is what I did. You
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: should do it too. All right, fine.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: I used to fuck with Harvey Weinstein all the time.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: When were you guys sleeping together?
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: So I didn't sleep with him. I wasn't his type.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: I tried.
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: Trust me.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: If it would have helped me out, I would have.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: But he had an office in Tribeca right next to
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: the Greenwich Hotel.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Just kidding.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: But his office was right next to the Greenwich Hotel.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: They do the Tribeca film festival right there. And I
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: would always be outside the Greenwich Hotel because a lot
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: of celebrities would be there. Every morning, 8.30 in the morning,
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: 9 a.m., he'd always be outside talking to a new girl.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: This went on all the time, like a model-ish type
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: girl and talking to a girl. And I always kind
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: of walked by and hear what he's saying. He'd talk
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: about movies. And he was known as an asshole. It
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: was kind of like the theme about him. He was
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: not a pleasant guy. But I used to just think
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: it was funny to fuck with him. So every day,
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: if I saw him talking to a different girl, I'd
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: walk up to him and go, I'm sorry to interrupt.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Mr.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: Weinstein, I just want to let you know I'm a
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: huge fan. I'm sorry to interrupt. I just want to
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: say your movies inspire me. Thank you for doing what
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: you do. Keep doing what you do. I'm sorry to interrupt.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: And just like, just kiss his ass in front of me. Like,
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: he turned to the nicest guy and go, thank you
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: so much. Thank you.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: He must have just loved that.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Oh, he loved it because I'd make his ego so big.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: I'd make him look good in front of the girl.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: I did it to him probably about 20 times. This
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: guy never caught on. And it was just so funny
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: to keep fucking with him. Even the paparazzi would be like, dude,
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: you're going to fuck with him again?
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, sure.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: And I would just keep messing with him. And it
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: was like he never caught on. Like the same guy
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: keeps coming up to him like, oh, my God, your
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: movies inspire me. I mean, I don't know what I'm doing.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I mean, that would be really funny if– okay, did
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you see that movie– It was a couple years ago,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: and I just came across it. Maybe it was Netflix.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Rest in peace. It was called The Assistant or something,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: and it was a smaller film, and it was basically
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: like a Weinstein character. You never see him, but this
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: girl gets a job as an assistant, and she realizes
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: he's not interested in her sexually, and there's two guys.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: So she's like the third assistant. There's the two guys
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: and then her. And then She starts to see that
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: there's these other girls that are coming through. And he's
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: also mean and yelling at them and stuff. And they're
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: all like, oh, he's horrific. But then she kind of
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: sees what's going on. They show her just cleaning the
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: cum off the couches and what's going on. And this
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: other girl's like, yeah, I guess I'm supposed to be
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the fourth assistant. But I'm supposed to be doing my
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: work at this hotel or whatever. It's just very... It
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: was done really well, but it was that kind of thing.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: But I'm saying in that movie, that would have been
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: funny if they showed him and he actually hired someone
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: to be that person that does that. Like, honestly, people,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: guys listening to this show, that would be kind of
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: a good thing to do on a date.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: Of course.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Like hire someone. So you're on a date.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: Just to run up to you and act like you're
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: the hottest shit ever or what?
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Or even like, let's just say you're like an attorney
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: or what? You're like dating this girl. And you just
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: have somebody walk up and be like, you know, Mr. Jones,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember me. You know, whatever.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Let's say you were a professor somewhere or something before
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: you became an intern. Whatever. Like someone could be like,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember me. You know, I
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: went to the school. You're the greatest guy. And I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: remember the advice you said. Like just something like that
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: where you're having dinner and you're like, oh. Oh my God,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: he's so, I mean, this is a sociopathic thing for
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: someone to do. This is like a weird job.
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: Yeah, but we could start up a business here, guys.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I mean, but it could, I mean, talk about like
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: turning on someone and having them think like, wow, and
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: then finding out later, like, oh my God, that guy
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: was like a hired fan.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: Boost your ego.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: It's called hired business.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: That's actually not bad.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: I like it.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: People hired paparazzi for themselves. I mean, hired fans.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, hired admirer, like of just someone being like, almost
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: like in tears, like, You just got me through it.
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: This person is so lucky to even know you. Good
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: luck on your date.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I'm so sorry to interrupt. If I said if I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: ever run into you, I just have to tell you
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: when I met you at my first job working at
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: your whatever store.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: Can you cut this out so we can use this
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: as our business model?
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Yes, let's do it.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Okay, so tell me about the Brooke Hogan. That was
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: one of the first family reality shows kind of wasn't
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: that almost before Kardashians, but after Osbournes?
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: In between there. Yeah, because it was when MTV was
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: at its height with big reality shows.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: And it was, Hulk Hogan and his wife had been
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: married for a long time for Hollywood. He's this famous
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: super tan wrestler character. And then he had the two kids,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Brooke and the brother.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Nick.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: So tell me a little bit, because obviously that show
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: ended and their life got in Catch everyone up.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, so Brooke then had a spinoff show, Brooke Knows Best.
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: It was Hogan Knows Best, then Brooke Knows Best, and
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: that was her way to stay in the reality world,
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: stay famous.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: And she was trying to follow her, get a music career,
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: and see her journey, become a musician out of her
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: father's legacy.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: So we had her stop by, and we literally reached
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: out for her, and she DM'd her on Instagram.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I DM'd her.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: And she responded and said, Sure, no problem. Like, I'll
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: come on. I just don't think anyone had reached out
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: to her in a little bit. And so she was
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: happy to come on.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: So she came on like how many, like a year
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: ago or what?
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: She came on six months ago.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Okay, so now it's been like 10 years since she's
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: been on TV. And what's she up to?
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: She has, so it's funny, she does remodeling for Airbnbs.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: So she comes in and she's got like the biggest
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: Airbnb remodeling site like in the country. She'll come in
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: and flip your Airbnb remodel. in a day and make
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: it ready to rent out. And it's been huge for her. Yeah.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Cause someone who doesn't have a lot of like decorating sense,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: but has some like cabin, she can make all like
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: millennial fun.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: And she is a good idea. Tons of money doing this.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Oh, good for her.
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: She did have a weird transition for a while. Cause
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: we talked to her and she said, you know, when
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: I left reality TV, I didn't know what I was doing.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: I was very lost. I was like, I went from
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: being super famous to not having anything and And she goes,
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: I started just being a cocktail waitress at a JW
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: Marriott hotel. And she goes, I liked it because I
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: got to just communicate with people. She's like, I've never
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: talked about this. No one ever knew that I was
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: a waitress, but she did it for a year. And
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: she's like, people would come in and they almost wouldn't
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: believe it was her. Because they're like, why is Brooke
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Hogan serving me?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I don't want to be rude to Brooke Hogan. But
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to me, she's so unmemorable looking because I just see... tan, blonde, boob.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: She's like six foot tall, blonde. Yeah.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, pretty and like attractive, but I'm just
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: saying there's so many girls like look like her. I
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: bet a lot.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: But that's California. She wasn't in California. Where was she?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: But I'm saying like Florida.
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: Florida or something. Or Nashville.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Then she went to Nashville.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: But do you think she did get recognized a lot?
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: She said she did. Yeah, people would come in and
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: be like, what the hell are you doing here? And
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: she would say, I'm just starting my life over. And
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: she was so honest and real. And that was probably
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: my favorite interview because she was honest. And she was like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: I didn't have this celebrity air about me. I just
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: had to move along with my life and realize I
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: wasn't a reality star anymore. And this was what Hand
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: was dealt with for.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I'm always fascinated of what an addiction
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: fame is. Fame is absolutely an addiction. And in this
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: reality world of the last 20 years, it's like this
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: never existed before, where someone that never tried to be
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: an actor or, you know, pursued, you know, anything like
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: even a sports person pursued sports to become an NFL player.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: What like this was, this is just like, you could
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: be just a mom and someone's like, Hey, I'm auditioning
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: for the show and they want to meet another front
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: of my next thing, you know, 12 years later, you're,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: you know, Teresa Gouda, Jude ice on real housewives of
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: New Jersey and your whole life, it's been under a microscope.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Your kids have been raised on it. You're fighting with
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: your sister-in-law. Like you both, you and your husband went
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: to jail. Like you just kind of go, what, what,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: what would have that life been? What would her, what
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: would she look like? Probably not as good. What would
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: her personality be like? What would, it's just because it's
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: just like, all of a sudden just gets handed to
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: you and you're like on the cover of magazines and like,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: it's just such a bizarre thing.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: I think Kid Rock said it best about Pam Anderson
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: when he was dating her. He said, the hardest thing
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: in Hollywood is to be famous with no money. So,
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: I mean, Pam Anderson's now on Broadway. I mean, she's
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: doing okay. She's doing well. But, like, she's been through
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: a couple husbands.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: A couple? I think she's had, like, six, five.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's tough. I mean, it's hard to... But
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: the thing is, when you go back to work, like,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: remember a few years ago, the guy who was in...
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: Was it the Cosby show?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he worked at Trader Joe's.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: He worked at Trader Joe's.
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: I mean.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: That's not easy. A lot of people don't realize, like,
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: when you've hit that certain level of fame, doing, I
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: don't want to say quote-unquote a normal job, because... That's
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: just a job. But to be able to do that
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: and realize that you're going to get recognized every day
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: and people are going to criticize you or scrutinize you
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: for that job, I think that's the hard part for
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: these these people that have had some level of success.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I mean, I, I interviewed Corey Feldman, which, you know,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: he's a, you know, kind of a different person, whatever.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: But one of the things he said, and it was
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: just like, people are so awful. Like, oh, I'm sorry
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: that I had a hit series from the time that
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I was nine to 14. How many hit series have
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: you had? So now you are going to point and
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: laugh that like, I'm working at a restaurant or I'm
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: working a regular job or I'm, you know, like how many,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: how many stars really have had like series after series
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: after series, like only a handful, like Courtney Cox, Michael J. Fox,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: like not that many can like hit lightning three and
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: four times. Julia Leo Dreyfus.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: Like that's like it.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: So it's like, if you have it, You know, you
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: get it, like, embrace it, love it, you know, have
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: a backup plan. And, like, because, but people are, exactly,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: people are, like, rude about it, you know.
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: I think that's why I liked Brooke's interview so much
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: was because she didn't have that air about her and
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: she was so wonderful. Have you had a guest that, like,
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: completely shocked you? Because that's how I felt. I was
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: shocked by the Brooke interview. Have you had someone that
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: walked in, you had one perception of them, they came in, sat,
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: chatted with you, and you left being like, I did
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: not expect that from them.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Um, I mean, I'm always like, I honestly, I'm, everybody's
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: always really nice if they agree to come. Sometimes they're
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: a little nervous. Sometimes people are like a little odd. Like,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I don't know if they're like just nervous because I'm
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: a comedian or they're just not used to doing stuff
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: like this. Um, and so then sometimes that's a challenge,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: but people are always like, you know, very nice. So
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I'm never like, I'm always expecting, honestly, I'm always expecting
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: like the best. And, and I'm usually, I usually get it.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Like if they're willing to come to Woodland Hills, you know, you.
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: Were way out here. Yeah.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: Not from here.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I'm like, and that's another thing like that's happened with,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: with like my life. I was telling Annie the other day, like,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: so I've always grown up here.
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: And then throughout my whole life of working in Hollywood,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I always had to leave an hour before and, And
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: then when I had the Chelsea Lately job, hour before
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: all the parties were down there, nothing ever was here.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: And just the other day, we were going to meet
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: with some old friends from Chelsea Lately. And I was like, oh,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: they're coming from the west side. And I guess, well,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: let me figure out a place to meet in Sherman Oaks.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: And my other friend is like, why don't we just
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: meet at Joey's in Woodland Hills? And I'm like, you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: mean like near me? like I would only have to
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: drive five minutes. I never, it never even occurred to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: me that I would choose the easy place. Cause I'm
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: always like, Oh, I don't want to put anyone out. Oh,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't want any. Now I'm like, yeah, you come here,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: forget it. Like I'm just like, then don't do the show. Like,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: and it's just so great because I was the one
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: that was in my car my whole life, you know,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: and people being like, I know it's like, Hey, there's
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: target across the street. you know, it's pretty pleasant, but
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: it's true. It's just like, but most, but so that's
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: when people, and even in the beginning of it, I would,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I'd be like, okay, I'll come to this place or I'll,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: you know, go to the, our office that we have, like,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: you know, for the network down. Now it's been like
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: two and a half years since I've ever done that.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Now I'm just like, whatever.
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: It just, is that shade? Cause I had to drive
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: three hours to get here today.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Not shade. I'm saying, I'm saying, I appreciate that you did. No,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I appreciate that you did, but I'm also like, yeah,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: it is kind of a sign. It is a moment
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: of success.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: She flew across the country for this.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I don't have to be. I'm sure I'm the only
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: thing that you came for. Yeah, that is really cool.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Tell me about, last story, tell me about the Jodi
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Sweetin thing.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: Jodi, I mean, I... I think I– she was– we
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: go for people that I find interesting, people who I
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: think will also be real and also speak. I don't
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: give a shit about like the character you play. Like
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: tell me how you got the job. Yeah, me too.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: Like I don't– I want to be– like I want
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: to be like we're at a bar hanging out like–
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: and I also want you to talk like how it–
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: just be real. Like as you know because you do
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: it on your podcast, it's like– When you watch Live
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: with Kelly, when you watch the Today Show, it's not
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: a real interview. Like, they're performing. The lights are on.
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: They know the questions.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: So, like, us, it was, like, really just breaking down, like,
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: where were you? Like, how did you get the job?
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: Or how did you find out you were fired from
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: the job? What was, you know, what was your contract like?
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: But then also very curious about with her, like, how
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: her relationship is with the Olsen twins. And she's like, listen, like,
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: and she's totally cool with it. Like, we work together. We,
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: you know, it was a long time ago. But then
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: we just, you know, we're cool. I don't have their
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: phone number still. Like, if I saw them. it'd be
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: totally fine, but I get it. They went on to
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: do other stuff. They don't owe us anything. Like it
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: was just, it was nice to hear her perspective on it.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I think that's, I saw something funny the other day
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: because I guess it was maybe Brittany was on Lala's show,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Brittany Cartwright married to Jax. And someone asked like, oh,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: do you speak to Lisa Vanderpump anymore? You know, since
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: she and Jax were like, go from the show. And
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: she's like, Something like, no, I mean, I really wish
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: she would have, you know, stayed in touch. And the
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: person that posted about it after said, like, raise your
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: hand if your boss who fired you stayed in touch
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: with you. And I was like, that's that's really interesting.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: You know, it's like, yeah, I mean, their show ended.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: So it wasn't like and it wasn't like they were
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: the bosses. But in any situation, like, you know, you
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: might have worked at a Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop. When
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you were 17 and now you're 30, are you still
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: keeping in touch with the people from your Saturday shift? Like,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: I mean, even though it's a show, and I just think, though,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: for people that, when you're a celebrity, they want to
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: delve deeper into, like, what happened, why, you know, and
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, we got along when we saw each
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: other all the time, and after that, you know, or whatever,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: even if you did really get along and you saw
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: each other, you know, three times a year, and then
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: it might turn into twice a year, then it's... Now
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: it's never.
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: I think with the Olsen twins, they just became so successful,
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: so young. They kind of went in one direction, and
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: then you got Jodi, who still hangs out with Cameron,
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: and still was hanging out with Bob Saget, and she
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: was still hanging out with the other side, so I
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: think everyone's always been interested.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: And then they went on to do the show.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: The Fuller House.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: The Fuller House.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Is that still happening?
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: No, it didn't get picked up. I think it ran
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: two seasons, but it didn't get picked up.
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: On Netflix.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: But here's the crazy part, is where she's like, I'm still, like,
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: you think Full House, which was definitely a successful show.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: No one could doubt that. But she's still, like, I'm
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: still trying to figure out how I'm going to pay
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: my bills, how I'm going to get my kids through.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: Because she's like, I rent. Like, I don't own.
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: She goes, I clip coupons like everyone else because the
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: residual money from that show is not what you would expect.
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: She goes, yeah, I still get a check. It's nothing
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: that's going to keep me going in an L.A. lifestyle.
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: I have to keep working. I have to keep pushing forward. And, yes,
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: I clipped coupons. And I loved that answer.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: And I'm sorry if I am mixing up, like, 90s
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: kid stars.
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: Stephanie Banner.
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: Stephanie.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: No, but did she have a drug issue?
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: She did have a rough time.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Okay, so she did. Maybe.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: I could be wrong, but it was pretty hardcore.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: So in between the two, she struggled, got clean, and
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: then they asked her back on the Fuller House.
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: Yes, she got her life together. She is in a
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: wonderful place in her life now. Yeah, she's doing good.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: She's doing really good.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Well, you guys, you're doing good.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: We will know we're doing good when we don't have
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: to drive.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Yes, so true. Tell everybody where they can listen and
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: follow you guys and all that stuff.
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: You can find the Hollywood Raw podcast anywhere you obviously
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: download podcasts. You can find us on social media at

- 1:27:01Speaker 3: you see my celebrity content. I was– Got Jeff Bezos
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: the other day. It's fun stuff.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: How lucky is Lauren Sanchez?
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: Oh, she loves it. She loves the attention.
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: Did you know her when she was here in LA?
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I met her a few times over the years. I mean,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: she was cool. I liked her. Just score.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: How is she the chosen one?
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Well, it's because you got together as couples and you
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: got in there.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: She seemed pretty nice. She loves the attention. Totally. I
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: can say that. She smiled when she came out. Bezos...
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: Loves the attention as well. Like, this is the second
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: time I've been around him. Yeah. And you can tell, like,
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: he knows who he is.
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: His security, like, not as big as you might think. Like,
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: I've been around Elon Musk's security where he's got, like,
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: Navy SEALs. It's wild how Elon Musk travels. Like, I mean,
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Elon Musk travels in, at least in New York City,
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: he's in the cheapest Tesla. And then his other security cars,
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: just to not bring attention, they're driving, like, four Tauruses, like, around. Like,
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: they're following him, but you wouldn't even know their security.
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: And they race him in, race him out wherever he goes.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Bezos was like, I'm out. Like, he said to the paparazzi, like,
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: their security at least said, like, this is where we're
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: going to next.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: What about his glow up?
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: Dude, he's ripped now. He's a monster, dude.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: What is he doing?
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: He's doing something. I want to know whatever cocktail they're
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: shooting it into.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Well, yeah.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: I mean, he looks good. I mean, he looks great.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: He looks good for him. He's solid. But he knows.
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: He gets it.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: And what's your status dating?
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: Wifed up.
