- 0:37SPEAKER_01: This is your host, Ekta.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm very excited today.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: I have with me the founders of Strike Club.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Um, so without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Stacey Blackman and Dr.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: McGuinness.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited for both of you to be here.
- 0:53unknown: Thank you.
- 0:56SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much.
- 0:57SPEAKER_03: Thanks so much, Ecka, for having us.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's my pleasure.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm super excited about your line because um just a little bit, you know, uh background for everybody listening.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: It's a it's a skincare line geared towards um young men in their adolescent years, correct?
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Yes, it is.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Um, and I and I want to hear all about it, but first I want to get started by um both of you telling us about your backgrounds and your careers and um how you kind of you know came into the whole skincare uh realm.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: So uh we can start with you, Dr.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: McGuinness, if you don't mind.
- 1:29SPEAKER_04: Okay, absolutely.
- 1:31SPEAKER_04: Um so I am a pediatric dermatologist and I have a busy clinical practice.
- 1:36SPEAKER_04: And I guess I'll first start by backing up and letting you know what is a pediatric dermatologist, because I think some people may not may not be familiar.
- 1:44SPEAKER_04: Well, pediatric dermatology is a board-certified sub-specialty of dermatology.
- 1:49SPEAKER_04: So we do our dermatology residency training after medical school, so medical school four years, derm four years, and then a pediatric dermatology fellowship another year after that.
- 2:02SPEAKER_04: Um, and so yeah, children get all the same skin conditions and many different ones than you know, as adults.
- 2:10SPEAKER_04: And so you need that extra training to really become kind of an expert in in this field.
- 2:16SPEAKER_04: And so I'm a pediatric dermatologist and um it's a great career.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: And it's a very competitive career for everybody out there.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: She's being very modest, but you guys need some really top board scores to get into that field.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: Traditionally that has been true.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, uh what you know, what about the the skincare aspect?
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: So okay, you have the pediatric background.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Now I want to talk about the other half of the company.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: So, Stacey, can you tell me about yourself and your background?
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I guess I'm best described as a serial entrepreneur.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: Um, out of business school, I started my first company, which um was acquired.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: It's now part of the knot.com, which is that wedding planning and registry site.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: Um, and then after that, I launched a consulting company called Stacy Blackman Consulting, which is still around.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: It's um doing great, but I have a really strong infrastructure in place with my team.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: And so I started to get a little restless and wanted to um explore new territory.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: So I decided to take on my third big challenge and launch Strike Club.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know, all three of these companies are really, really different.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Um the Strike Club is the first one that's a real consumer product.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: Um, but what they have in common is that I really like finding solutions to problems.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: So in all three of them, I just kind of randomly stumbled upon things that I thought could be done better or um opportunities, and I decided to go after them.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: So straight up is my latest.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: I love people who are really determined and they just go for it.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: So congratulations on your newest venture.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: So I want to talk about the brand.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I really want to talk about the brand background, the story.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: What really made you guys want to create this unique line?
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Um, Dr.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: McGuinness, I I would really love for you to talk about uh a little bit of the you know the dermatology aspect and the pediatric dermatology aspect.
- 4:30SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 4:31SPEAKER_04: So in my practice over the years, of course I treat so many teens with with acne.
- 4:36SPEAKER_04: It's probably the number two or three complaint that that teens will come in with.
- 4:41SPEAKER_04: Um and and so over the over time, I realized that, you know, first of all, the males, the boys in my practice, um, had a lot less interest or motivation in in self-care.
- 4:55SPEAKER_04: You know, it was harder to get them to follow a skincare routine than it was the girls.
- 5:01SPEAKER_04: And that's really just what I think moms out there will identify with that all everywhere.
- 5:07SPEAKER_04: Um, and also, you know, boys are disproportionately affected by acne because, you know, part of um what contributes to acne are androgens or male hormones.
- 5:17SPEAKER_04: And so um throughout the teen years, boys seem to have acne with with increased severity.
- 5:23SPEAKER_04: And and so I I've noticed that over time.
- 5:26SPEAKER_04: Also, in my practice, you really can't underestimate the psychological impact that acne can have.
- 5:32SPEAKER_04: You know, it's stigmatizing, it really hurts the the self-esteem.
- 5:37SPEAKER_04: And where I feel like the the girls in my practice were more likely to, you know, follow the routine, it was harder to motivate the boys.
- 5:46SPEAKER_04: And so, you know, two years ago, uh Darcy, who I knew um from my time in California um and Stacey approached me with this amazing idea of hey, let's make personal care accessible, easy, and really exciting for boys.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 6:05SPEAKER_04: And even though it was kind of stepping out of my lane, you know, this is all new to me.
- 6:09SPEAKER_04: I'm, you know, formulating products and taking a deep dive into something completely new.
- 6:14SPEAKER_04: I just couldn't think of a reason to say no.
- 6:16SPEAKER_04: And so that's how I joined Strike Club.
- 6:18SPEAKER_04: And, you know, we've been kind of working hard ever since to get this line going.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: So Darcy and Nicole are the other co-founders, correct?
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: For start for Strike Club.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And um, so you know, hopefully maybe we can uh have everybody back um after this episode.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: But um, so you know, I I want to actually continue on that because I think you have made such an excellent point here.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: And I know, you know, I'm not a dermatologist, but just you know, um observing, I can tell you that, you know, my brother, for example, he's 10 years younger than me, and when he started breaking out, um, you're absolutely correct.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: And that he didn't want to go to a dermatologist.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: He didn't want to go and, you know what I mean, like deal with it like as a thing because it was, I don't know, I guess not the thing that boys do or what.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: So I had to really kind of um pull him into the dermatologist's office, you know, to get evaluated.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: So I love, I I really, really love um this concept for this line.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Um, so I I want to talk to you more about that.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: So, in terms of um, you know, when you were thinking of the concept of making this a skincare line, how did you like work around the whole targeting it to young men and then making them want to invest in this?
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: So what we try to do, we have a few pillars for our brand.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: Um, number one, it's got to be effective.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: The the moms and the boys aren't gonna be at all interested in products that aren't effective.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: Um, number two, we really wanted to make something that what we call is locker room worthy, meaning it's a point of pride for these boys.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: They're happy to pull it out in the locker room, they're happy to put it on their bathroom counter.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: It's not like this embarrassing zit cream that they're hiding.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: Um, and three, we really wanted to make it simple.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: So um that kind of goes back to your question about getting the boys to do it.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: When we are developing our products, we really think about what are boys already doing, what's already in their routine, and what would be super, super easy for them to do.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: So we're not trying to create sort of the male version of like the 10-step routine that you see that a lot of girls might enter into that.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: Um but you know, for example, one of our first products is called everywhere wash.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: The boys can use it in the shower just as they already are washing their bodies.
- 8:46SPEAKER_02: That is perfect.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the everywhere wash is effective against acne and acne.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: You know, they just as they're cleaning their body, they can also clean their face.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: So it's like if nothing else, that's super easy.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: Um, we just today launched our wipes, which I'm we are super excited about because um again.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Congratulations, by the way.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Yes, it's been a long haul, but um, the wipes, you know, a boy he might be too lazy or unmotivated to wash his face at the sink, but wipes, he can literally be like, you know, on YouTube in bed and like swipe it across his face or make it in his gym bag or something like that.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: So a lot of our products also are moisturizer that we launched earlier this year.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: Not only does it moisturize and soothe, but it's also really effective against blackheads and whiteheads.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: So kind of one of the core things in our line is just that multitasking ability and simplicity of all of our products.
- 9:51SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 9:51SPEAKER_04: We definitely knew boys needed that.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: One of the first times I spoke with Sheila, she said, you know, boys suffer more from acne because of all the things she already said, the hormones, but also because of compliance, that they just don't stick to the routine.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: And that's so important.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Nothing's gonna work if you don't consistently stick to it.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of what we keep in mind as we're developing these products.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I can I can definitely see that, you know, just from a consumer standpoint, especially, you know, I think the word skincare has been like tainted a little bit, and you know, men don't really want to go towards it, you know, whatever age they're in.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: Um, but it's it's like, you know, bringing that whole skin health aspect back into skincare and like talking about that.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I I want to kind of focus on that a little bit.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: Um, Dr.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: McGinnis, if you can talk to us a little bit about um, you know, just a general overview for skin health for young men that they should be following.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: And we can, you know, if you can go through the strike club's products and kind of give us like a breakdown of a skincare routine, you know.
- 10:56SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 10:57SPEAKER_04: It's it's really as simple as the basics.
- 11:00SPEAKER_04: It all starts with washing your face.
- 11:02SPEAKER_04: If you do nothing else, you need to wash your face twice a day with something that's gentle but yet effective.
- 11:09SPEAKER_04: And so what do I mean by that?
- 11:11SPEAKER_04: Um we at Strike Club sought to really make something that was going to deal with um things that contribute to acne, which are, you know, in in part bacteria that lay on the skin.
- 11:22SPEAKER_04: There's a bacteria that's in your pores that really contributes to acne, and the way that you respond to that is with inflammation.
- 11:30SPEAKER_04: And so our key ingredient in our washes, our like star ingredient, is sodium hypochlorite.
- 11:36SPEAKER_04: And so we've formulated a lot of our products with this because it's clean, it's simple, um, it's really effective, and we use it with surfactants or soaps that are really gentle and not overdrying.
- 11:52SPEAKER_04: And the added bonus for moms is that our ingredients won't bleach clothing or anything like that.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, awesome.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: Less laundry problems.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: So, okay, so you okay, you went into the ingredients a little bit.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: I want to I want to talk more about that.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: So, you know, when I was growing up, salicylic acid was like the big fad in skincare.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: And everybody, all the dermatologists were like, you know, you you want a product with salicylic acid in it, you know.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: And um, I I want to talk how if that's changed um at all.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: And especially when you're formulating the product for Strike Club, like, you know, um, like really like how harsh are the ingredients or how non-harsh are they?
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: You know, that's that's where I'm trying to go with this.
- 12:33SPEAKER_04: You know, none of the ingredients are are harsh at all.
- 12:36SPEAKER_04: Um so let's back up to salicylic acid.
- 12:40SPEAKER_04: So it's definitely still there.
- 12:42SPEAKER_04: It's ubiquitous, it's in almost every cleanser that's marketed towards acne.
- 12:47SPEAKER_04: And yes, there's an FDA monograph for it.
- 12:49SPEAKER_04: It's been used for years, but that's a long time.
- 12:53SPEAKER_04: Like we're talking about ingredients from when I was a teenager, right?
- 12:57SPEAKER_04: There's really been very little, I'll have to say, you know, innovation in the acne space.
- 13:02SPEAKER_04: And so I think one thing that Strike Club brings to that is okay, let's do something different.
- 13:06SPEAKER_04: Let's do something clean, effective, um, that is not all about salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide, because I don't think those ingredients have really stood the test of time or have, you know, the best evidence to support them.
- 13:19SPEAKER_04: There's definitely some, but it's it's not perfect.
- 13:23SPEAKER_04: Um salicylic acid is a great ingredient.
- 13:26SPEAKER_04: It it definitely is.
- 13:27SPEAKER_04: It it's kind of an anti-inflammatory peeling agent.
- 13:30SPEAKER_04: It does a lot.
- 13:31SPEAKER_04: It's actually the active ingredient in our strike stick, actually, our spot treatment.
- 13:35SPEAKER_04: We did use it because I do know that in a spot treatment, the salicylic acid can really have, you know, more of an immediate effect.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: And and and that's interesting to me because I always wonder about, you know, the reason I asked is because like when I was growing up, it was like, you know, antibiotics or accutane, or you know what I mean?
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Like the really harsh washes.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: So um that's why I really wanted to address that.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: That this is something that you can use daily and it's not going to strip your skin.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: It's not going to make you feel like overdried, because that's the experience I had when I was an adolescent, you know, like it was like flaky skin, even though I was following the routine, I guess, that I should have been following for my acne, um, it was still causing problems.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: So um I love that you I love that you really thought about the formulation.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: Well, and that's something that I've learned from Dr.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: Fila is that if someone's acne is that bad that they need to use Accutane, they can actually use our cleansers in conjunction with the Accutane because our cleansers are effective, but they're also non-drying and mild.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: And you know, that that inflammation and dryness can be even more problematic with boys as they're going through puberty and maybe they're starting to shave.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: And so that's like an additional complication with all the things that are going on.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:52SPEAKER_04: There is a ton going on, especially for boys.
- 14:56SPEAKER_04: And that was definitely top of mind when we were thinking about formulating, you know, our products.
- 15:01SPEAKER_04: We needed to keep it really gentle.
- 15:03SPEAKER_04: And as a pediatric dermatologist, I'm still going to be using all of the prescription medications when I need to.
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: It's appropriate.
- 15:11SPEAKER_04: Those are effective and evidence-based.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:13SPEAKER_04: We also need a cleanser that's gentle and can be used in conjunction with those things, as a, you know, you know, in addition, um without without overdrying.
- 15:24SPEAKER_04: And so that's something that I think that we can really contribute.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: So one question, one question I do have is about the moisturizing aspect and sunscreen aspects of skin health and young men.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Because um, I can tell you, you know, with my brother, I remember the first time I had him uh put on a moisturizer on his face, he looked at me like I was giving him something from outer space.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 15:45SPEAKER_01: It was like, do you not know what lotion is, Nick?
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, so how did you guys um when you were when you were thinking about that step in the skincare, um, the moisturizer is also like the wash where it's like everywhere moisturizer, or like how did you I I want to know more about like all the other products basically.
- 16:02SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's great.
- 16:03SPEAKER_04: Well, the moisturizer um was kind of a natural step because you know, boys can get dry too.
- 16:10SPEAKER_04: Um if they especially like in Minnesota in the winter or different areas in the country, it's gonna be really dry, low humidity.
- 16:18SPEAKER_04: A moisturizer is a really great step in a skincare regimen.
- 16:21SPEAKER_04: So if you wash and moisturize, it's kind of like you're sealing in the water that you kind of just soaked into your skin.
- 16:29SPEAKER_04: And that actually has an effect of restoring the pH of the skin.
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:33SPEAKER_04: In our moisturizer, we used a really nice blend of sunflower oil, and sunflower oil in particular has really great qualities to restore the skin barrier.
- 16:42SPEAKER_04: And so that's why we chose it.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: I didn't know that.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: That's very interesting.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Um, so you know, I want to ask about um, so men and women and our and our skin.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Um, can you tell us some of the things that you I know you mentioned acne and I know you mentioned the hormonal aspects of acne, um, but what are some other things that um maybe teenage boys deal with that the girls don't, or is there an earlier onset for their acne or any of those kind of you know aspects?
- 17:10SPEAKER_04: That's a great question.
- 17:12SPEAKER_04: So um acne can start as early as age eight in girls and age nine in boys.
- 17:19SPEAKER_04: It's really with that first surge of hormones, and that's called adrenarchy.
- 17:23SPEAKER_04: And that's when you see little blackheads and white heads, not really the big inflammatory lesions.
- 17:28SPEAKER_04: You might see it a little on the forehead, at the hairline, or in the ears.
- 17:31SPEAKER_04: Um, and then, you know, as the child advances in their adolescence, um, you get more sebum production and the oil glands become larger and thicker and more responsive to the male hormones and testosterone.
- 17:44SPEAKER_04: So by the mid-teens, you can really be seeing, you know, the acne in development.
- 17:49SPEAKER_04: But that's also a time when they are starting to shave and do athletics and be, you know, into sports and may not be so clean.
- 17:56SPEAKER_04: And so in addition to the acne, you can have um concerns with bacteria or superficial skin infections, um, like impetigo or folliculitis, or you know, things that can hide in hair follicles when you're shaving.
- 18:11SPEAKER_04: Um, they can definitely have all of those things going on, um, and which is you know another reason why we're so fond of the way we formulated the products, because they the the washes, the sodium hypochlorite can address all of those things too.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: So, does that actually also help with like ingrown hairs when they start shaving?
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: Do you know if that if there's any like you know what?
- 18:36SPEAKER_04: I do think it could help because you know, if the hairs are becoming ingrown from you know, shaving too closely, or if you have kinky curly hair that's turning back in, a lot of times there's inflammation and bacteria that can hide in those little pockets.
- 18:49SPEAKER_04: And so you know, something anti-inflammatory and that fights bacteria is great for helping with that.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: And also I want to mention, like, I know this was you guys definitely formulated this with a specific demographic in mind, but you know, um, I think it's important to know like this is safe skincare that everybody can use, right?
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: We can all use it.
- 19:11SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 19:12SPEAKER_04: The founders have been using it for a year with you know great results.
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: And even I can say that I think my mask knee is better for using the washes.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, awesome.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: So, Stacy, I want to ask you about the distribution of the line.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, uh what was your goal in mind?
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: How, you know, in terms of making this available to young men everywhere, you know, because I they don't go to Sephora like we do, you know, and they don't go to these like like Nordstroms or SACs, you know.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: So how what how did you approach that in terms of making this readily available for them?
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: So we really did want to make it accessible.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Um, we've been talking about products that are prescription, and you can go to a dermatologist.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: Sheila has a almost a year-long wait list for her practice.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Um, and we learned early on that 90% of boys don't even have access to a dermatologist.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: So we really wanted to create products that um they could easily use, that were well priced, and that they could buy easily, you know, access easily.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Um, so we launched last January, a little over a year ago, and we sold only on our website for a year and sort of got feedback and got um feedback on what products we should develop next, which is how we came up with the wipes and the moisturizer.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: Um, and then we thought about who would be the ideal retailer for us to expand with.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: And Target was really the top of our list because Target is such a great place to um, you know, not just buy things because it's kind of everywhere.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: And you know, we're in over a thousand targets nationwide.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: So we're we're close to so many people, and they also have online, but it's also a great place to discover new brands.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: Um, they set up a lot of their skincare and beauty almost like Sephora, where there are samples and testing and and co-inspirations who can answer questions.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: So we just thought that Target would be a great partner for us.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Um, and so they are our only retail partner right now.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: We just expanded into a thousand plus targets um this January, just a few weeks ago, and also Target.com.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Wow, congratulations.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: That's wonderful.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: Um you know, go ahead.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: No, it's been really exciting to see uh Strike Club on the shelves.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I bet.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: No, and you're so correct about the discovery aspect because I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a Target and gone into the cosmetic aisle or the, you know, just the beauty aisle, and I've just been like, I didn't even know this existed.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Like so fun.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Like it's not like a drugstore that you go into and you Grab what you need, it really is a place like it's the joke.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: You go in for one thing and you come out spending$300 at Target.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: No, one question I have though is you know, you guys really um piqued my interest when you were talking about the wipes uh for the face because that's brilliant.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: I think that's a brilliant concept.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm wondering, are these uh specifically made for just the face?
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like body wipes would be really beneficial too, right, Dr.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Marianas, for boys with back knee and stuff.
- 22:27SPEAKER_04: Oh my gosh, you're hitting the the nail right on the head.
- 22:30SPEAKER_04: We have talked about this in so many of our meetings, and yes, this wipe can be used anywhere.
- 22:36SPEAKER_04: Um, but you're you're correct in in that.
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: I think that a large format wipe for boys would be would be great.
- 22:42SPEAKER_04: Um, so we'll we'll get the feedback and and take it further.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would love to see that.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, honestly, because I keep thinking sports, uh locker rooms, really gross.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: Well, this is you know, this is awesome though.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: I I think it's a very, very unique line, and I love that you have really kept um, you know, skin health at the focus of this.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: That's something that I'm very passionate about because, you know, in the in the industry right now, there are just so many brands and there's not, you know, focus, there's no direction, I feel like sometimes.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: So I really like that this is something I can recommend to my brother and his friends and even, you know, my boyfriend.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: Like I can just say, hey, here's a male-friendly line, and you don't have to think about eight, nine, ten steps, you know, which serum to use.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: That's really good.
- 23:26SPEAKER_04: Totally.
- 23:27SPEAKER_04: I'm a mom of two boys.
- 23:29SPEAKER_04: Um, and my boys and my husband use the everywhere wash basically every day.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm about to like honestly, I'm about to put everybody I know onto this.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: Because the everywhere everywhere wash, I think the first time I ever saw that was like Old Spice did something with their body wash, and it like was the biggest revelation for the guys I knew in my life.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Like my guy friends were like, this is great.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: I don't have to think about much.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I it makes sense.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: But um, anyways, I I want to thank you both so much.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: This has been awesome.

- 24:29SPEAKER_01: McGuinness, because this is an area that no one really, I can't find anyone to really talk to about this.
- 24:34SPEAKER_04: So Oh, I'd love to come back on.
