There’s a line in Romans 8 that’s always meant a lot to me. Paul says that “the Spirit helps us in our weakness.” Not in our strength. Not in our victories. Not in our polished moments. In our weakness.
That tells me something important: God isn’t waiting for us to get it all together before He steps in. He meets us right in the middle of the struggle. And if we’re honest, most of us spend more time in the struggle than we do in the victory.
