- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And I am Red Palmer, and we're talking with former U.S.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: diplomat David Hunter.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: How are you, David Hunter?
- 0:11SPEAKER_02: I'm glad to be here, Red.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Well, we usually have a lot of fun talking.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: We sometimes have contests here, but you tend to skew I think you tend to skew to the left.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Uh you you tr you try to do you go for the balance?
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, I try to go for the balance.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm to the left of uh Ronald Reagan, maybe a little bit.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, he was a far right guy.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, this whole community here in Vero Beach, Florida used to be uh, you know, a blue state, a blue area.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Totally blue.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And Reagan, I mean, I'm surprised that they liked him that much that they uh they all turned to become Republicans.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: You remember somebody named Senator Bob Graham?
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: I met Bob Graham.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Now he he was an extreme diplomat.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Well, he was he was on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: And in fact, he wrote a book called Intelligence Matters.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Thank you for your service.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Well, that's wonderful.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: So that was he was he was a governor and a senator of the Democratic Party in Florida.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: But I remember being either with him, I don't think we talked, I don't remember.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: It was that was thirty-two years ago.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: But I I liked him.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, smart guy.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: He was he was uh you know, he was sort of like what I call the Lindsey Graham of the left.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: He was he was smart, he was well informed, and uh he you know he represented himself uh and the people in the center uh very very well.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: And like you said, Florida was not uh a ruby red state.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Now you're a thin guy, but sit up straight in that chair because in on the screen here, you look like a big guy with a big belly, and you don't even have a belly.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: This is such a comfortable chair.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: You know what we probably need to get?
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe we need to get a pillow that people can put behind their back to make you sit up straighter.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: But you know, and you don't want to waste your good looks on that.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, we want to get the female uh group in here.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: I think I can go.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: But I think I can go for more of a tight thing on this thing here.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: No, yeah.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: Well, anyway, let's let's get on to the there's there's some real serious topics for uh today's discussion.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: Here we are uh at the uh beginning of November, and um the there are elections coming up in Israel next week, and then we have our own U.S.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: midterm elections coming up uh the following week.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: A couple of weeks ago.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Now let me ask you this.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: There was something posted about Israel today, I forget what it was exactly, but you know, you know, they say if you were uh first of all, Israel is the smallest country probably in the world, or one of them.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Uh they have only have a population of 14 million throughout the world.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: And seven million living in Israel.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Jews.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Seven million Jews.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And you said that um you said, I believe you have confessed that you believe Jesus Christ is Lord.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's you're certain of that.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: So let me say this.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: So the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob decides to breathe a little extra intellect into a group of people because they're going to be the scribes that are going to write down the scriptures and what we know as the words of Moses, etc.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's your interpretation.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: They would wash, they would wash no, it's a historical fact that they would wash their hands three times before they made an entry into the that's a historical fact.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: The fact that God breathed more intellect into Jews than into non-Jews.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: No, that's not a historical fact.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: No, that's not a historical fact.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: But I think it's kind of self-evident.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: No, it isn't self-evident.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Well, I think so.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: You know why?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Take this room we're in.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: The number of patents.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: And scientific breakthroughs and medical breakthroughs?
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Okay, that's not proof of anything.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: Let's not.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: That's not proof of anything.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: It's it's a fact.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: If you took all what Muslims have contributed and filled up the whole ceiling here with little tiny letters of their names, that's fine.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: But for what the Jews have contributed would fill up every wall, the floor, and the ceiling in comparison.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Now, do you not believe that?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Are you anti-Jewish?
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: Of course not.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm anti I'm anti-Netanyahu, but I'm not anti-Jewish.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: And there's a big difference there.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: Well, I agree.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: But why would you contest that that they've they're they're they're known for this little tiny 14 million people, and uh, you know, uh and throughout history, they've contributed more than any other race.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: I I I think that's racism, what you're saying.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: It's racism.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: It's not racism.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: You're saying more than any other race.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: That makes them the superior race.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: That's what you're saying.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: That's racism.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: That's racism.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Well, that's your idea that's your idea.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: There was a there was they just did a study.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: There was a lady on TV showing that out of all these people, these black people who were getting in put into schools, they didn't qualify.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And generally, generally, black people, it's not you can say it's racist, or you can say it's the truth.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Do you want to have people that are high because of merit, or do you want to have meritocracy, right?
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Or do you want to have a no?
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: I had a doctor come in here, yeah, an eye surgeon.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: And he says, I'm really I have a friend of mine who's black and he's an eye surgeon.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: He's a great eye surgeon.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but now people are gonna question him if they they were lowering the standards so people of lower intellect can get into med school.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: You know, we have to face the facts.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Look, I don't have the intellect to be a medical doctor or a surgeon, but I know that.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So because of the color of my skin, they're gonna say, well, we have to let so many white guys in, so you go ahead and go in.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Um I don't want to get off on the the whole issue of racism per se in America.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: Uh and and the the way we got onto this topic was because you said that Jews are intellectually superior to all other races.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: I disagree with that.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: So let's leave it.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: So do you think the Chinese are as uh intellectually Chinese are as smart as the Jews?
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: So Chinese, who else?
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and Americans.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: I think there are a lot of Americans that are very smart.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: I think it's it I think smartness does not come down to one's genes.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: Smartness is a combination of Well, there's a lot in DNA.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's some DNA, but there's a lot also a lot in DNA.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Let's look at me.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Look at me.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I was in the ghetto, but I got out of the ghetto, okay?
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: You're lucky you got in the game.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know you were never in the ghetto.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: You were lucky you got out of the ghetto and that you avoided drugs.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, you were lucky.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: You know, you came to that.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: But uh maybe but other people, and I and and that bothers me.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: I'd like to ask God about that because there's some people out there.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: We're we're sitting on a microphone here today, making a living, okay?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And you were a diplomat.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: You get to use your intellect.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: You were you were educated highly in England.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, uh I was educated educated on the streets, but it's not that's really a little bit of a lot because I went to two different community colleges, and then I went to a third one here and was actually on the dean's list twice, I'm proud to say.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: At 68 years of age, I finally got an A.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: Good for you.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's and and it is hard, you're right, it is hard to judge what is intellect because I have a lot of people that I know that are billionaires, millions, so do you.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: And I've interviewed U.S.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: presidents, all these people.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: But there's no doubt that I've had in the past, I've been a much happier person than most people ever get to be.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Now, is it because I'm a buffoon?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: I hope not.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Am I foolish?
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: I am foolish, but I also have what they call now emotional intelligence.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: And you don't take yourself so seriously.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I hope not.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Uh less and less as I get older, right?
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: There's a there's a point to that, you know, that people are so inflated with themselves.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, talking about politicians, especially.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: They're so inflated with themselves.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: You know, and in reality, you know, they're and they're also looking after themselves and what they can get out of a deal instead of what they can do to help other people.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: If we knew the truth of everyone in Washington, yeah, from the president on down to every little buddy.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm talking about elected people.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: We'd all throw them out.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Because they all have their hand in the till.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: So we have a broken system, which is partly due to what I call money in politics.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: The whole concept of you have to raise money and the money is given by dark money.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: Can I ask suppliers?
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: So I had an idea.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: I'd like to know if you like this idea.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And I think it's an idea for the future, and I should ask young people.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: So you understand that if we if we put a if we had every person in the USA was obligated to put in one dollar or ten bucks for candidates, okay?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: And so if you're running for the presidency, you get a billion.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: The other guy, gal running for the president, they get a billion.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: Other people running, you're running for uh whatever.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: We do divvy it out.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be a senator, you get 900, you're gonna do a million bucks, you get two million bucks, whatever.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Divvy it out of the ten dollars that comes in from everybody, and that's all you get to spend.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: And and the time of campaigning should be limited.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: You see, a lot of people in England, how is it?
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: You live there, it's like three months.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: They start campaigning three months.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:09SPEAKER_02: By the way, in in England, they have had in the last uh they've had seven prime ministers in the last ten years.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: Seven.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: No, but think about it.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: Uh the point is that that you know, you only need three months to run because you're only going to be in office for a year.
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: So uh maybe we should maybe we should shorten the the length of time a president serves and shorten the.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Now that I have con I have conflict with, even with the Republicans and everybody.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: I have a problem with that because uh Congressman Posey just passed away, and I will forever love him.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: And he was voted in again and again by both the left and the right.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: So he walked the line.
- 9:50unknown: Right.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I I've noticed that when somebody new gets into office for the first year or two, do you know who runs the congressman's office?
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: The staff.
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: Because they know what's going on.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Because I had a brilliant man who came here, former U.S.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Senator, and I had lunch with him.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: And he said, we need to watch who's staffing these people.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: We need to have, they want to have classes like a think tank that they visit and learn what as a conservative, because I'm a conservative, what as a conservative do you believe?
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, telling them what they're supposed to believe.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: If you're a conservative, this is what we believe.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: And, you know, and and and then liberals too.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: What did they believe?
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Uh, as opposed to, you know, I mean, you and you and I have had discussions on this.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Um, if I was down in Mexico at my grandfather's uh ranch farm where they grew grapes and oranges, we had they called them wetbacks.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: I guess that's probably a pejorative term.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: They swam across the Rio Grande.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: So I'm living there now as an adult.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: This is when I was eight years old, ten years old, thirteen years old.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And then we they moved to uh Medina outside San Antonio.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: And so I know me.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: So I have a I'm a liberal at heart because if I was down there, I'd be swimming out to the Rio Grande, helping Jose get across because I love people.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Come on, come on to freedom, because I know damn well.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: If I was born somewhere else, by hook or by crook, I'm gonna become an American.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Whatever it takes, it would be my end goal.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: So, but we can't do that in that I understand people think, well, I'm superior because I want there to be immigrants.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Immigrants should be able to stay.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: We have to have be a law-abiding citizenship.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: So my intellect hopefully overrules my emotion.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Now, do you think I'm on the right course with that?
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Do you think we should have allowed all these immigrants to come in here?
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Well, uh undocumented, you know what I mean?
- 11:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I don't think so.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: I think that's a problem.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: And uh we were uh a country in need of labor for many, many uh centuries and therefore that Statue of Liberty represented all.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: But they came legally though.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: That was because there was there were uh straglers, of course.
- 12:04SPEAKER_02: But we did try to encourage immigration, uh, and I think we still should support immigration.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: But in the concept of a melting pot where they adapt to American culture and not try to change American culture to their culture, that gets back to the question.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: You know, with you with you having the ability that you have, maybe you don't want to write a book.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Maybe you don't have the time, the inclination, or whatever.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Then you know what you should do?
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: You should go, you either give me a percentage of the book or pay me, and to do specific interviewing of you, then we have it transcribed into a book.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Look, you've got how old are you now?
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: 74?
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: So you have 74 years of wisdom.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: You traveled around.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: You were a diplomat in Spain, you were a diplomat in Ukraine, you were a diplomat in uh where Pakistan, you were a diplomat in India, and the last one?
- 12:55unknown: Korea.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: Korea.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: So you have a history.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, the the the um the the is it the uh the the Indians have a saying.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Well, what are the what's the what's the group of Indians?
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: What do they believe in India?
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: The uh the Hindus.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they say what is it's a great saying.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: What is given is gained, what is kept is lost.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Like right now, let's say you have a hundred million dollars, and you could help feed some hungry people of the world.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, but you hold on to it because you like to see that little number and it's a it's a fake, it's fake security, because you're not gonna spend the hundred million, okay, and then it gets passed on to your nephew who's an alcoholic or something, you know.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Instead, you know, you're going up to heaven and you say, Oh, I I could have given that money, and now it's too late.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: What is given is gained, what is kept is lost.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: So, you know, you've got all this information, and it's like it's like cultivating a rose.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: You put you put manure around it, you grow it.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Now, the day that it blossoms, you're gonna cut it off and throw it out?
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: You're you're coming into your blossoming.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Moses wasn't used until he was 80.
- 14:00unknown: Okay.
- 14:00unknown: That gives me a little room to maneuver.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but but no, but but shouldn't you be at least at least contemplations of a former U.S.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: diplomat?
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: How can what how do we work out these things in the world?
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: Well, I I do I do have an interest in uh current affairs, especially current international affairs.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: And you mentioned Lindsay Graham, for example.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: And and uh something that was passed by both houses after he died, it was called the Lindsey Graham bill on sanctions against Russia.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Now, this is a very important topic.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Do you think he was perhaps murdered?
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: No, I but I let's focus on the Lindsey Graham bill.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: Essentially doubling down sanctions against the same people who has invaded an innocent country, Ukraine.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: Uh and he has invaded it four and a half years uh since that began.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: And he is uh firing uh missiles and bombs and light bombs and all kinds of stuff, and killing you know ten million people a day innocent people um that are trying to defend the people.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: The United States bipartisan bill to say we're gonna sanction Vladimir Putin and force him to uh lose revenue from the sales of oil and the sales from anything uh to really hurt him in the wallet so that he'll come to the table and stop invading Ukraine.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: One week after that, Donald Trump signed that bill.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: One week after that, Donald Trump came up with this brilliant idea.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: After talking to Vladimir Putin on his birthday, he decided this brilliant idea.
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: I'm going to allow diesel uh from Russia to be imported, and we can purchase diesel from Russia.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: So that will hopefully ostensibly lower the prices.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: But it it violates the sanction.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: It destroys the sanctions.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: The sanctions.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Why would you sign something and then not that's exactly my point?
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: My point is, and and Congress, both House and Senate, Republican and Democrat, are angry as hell at Donald for doing this ridiculous violation of its own.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: Okay, let me ask you this.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: And this is where this is where great attorneys come in.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: I've met a couple.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: I've met a couple of great attorneys.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: And they can always do what the thief would do.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: And they go if they see it from a I'm just amazed.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So let me let you take the take uh argue for against yourself.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: What would you be saying if you were pro uh this?
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Well, the the the what they're what they'll I want you to take Trump's angle and say this is why what Trump did is good.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: Well well, Trump is saying that you know, from his immediate short-term interests, and this is good for Trump.
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: In theory, the price of oil, uh diesel will go down because Russia is now going to sell us three hundred thousand dollars.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: And now we'll get more votes for the Republicans, I suppose.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: Lowering the price of diesel by a small amount will help the Republican cause.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: But has has that happened?
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: No, it hasn't.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: And and the problem is the the the amount, 300,000 tons, yeah, is like going to bring down the price of diesel by one cent.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: It's not a lot, huh?
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: It's not a lot.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: But diesel is up at$6 a barrel.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: But you know six dollars a barrel.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: You know what I want to know?
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: When you and I were younger, we're virtually the same age.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden they had a thing called a diesel truck.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Now a car, say let's say it let's say it took eight dollars to fill your home car, your station wagon.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: You know, we're about what, sixteen years of age.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: That was when it was ten cents a gallon.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Well, it was twenty-three.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: But anyway, uh, that's the lowest I remember.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: But um but diesel, if it was eight dollars to fill your tank for it was only four bucks.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Diesel was the dirt cheap junk.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Now, all of a sudden, everybody all these farmers and everybody go to diesel, and so all of a sudden now diesel's more expensive.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Diesel is then the refined gas.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: Diesel is ten dollars a gallon and refined gas is a few.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: And this is nothing but blatant greed.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: No, it's not.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: It's called the destruction of the diesel industry.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: Uh the refining refining of diesel.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: Crude oil comes out of the ground, and then it's refined into gasoline or diesel.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: And uh well, why was diesel so cheap when it first started?
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: Well that's connected to supplies of heavy crude.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: Heavy crude produces diesel and pet food and heavy crude.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: And light crude, which is what is coming out of uh the US now, we produce light crude, and so does Saudi Arabia.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: They produce light crude that produces gasoline.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Because when I was in England, as you were, when I was in Haiti as a short-term missionary, when I went to Africa, the majority of vehicles there that's anything that's uh practical like a utilitarian truck or or uh are all run on diesel.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: Hey, I used to drive a diesel.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: I you drove a diesel Mercedes when you were in Europe.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: When I was in in in India, I drove a diesel Mercedes.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: Diesels were I love who doesn't stop going so fast, please.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: It's cutting me going on the corner.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: And uh and I got back to the U.S.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: and diesel was still cheaper than gas for a while and then it wasn't, and then I got rid of the diesel.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: So no, but but it's a con.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Now I want to tell you something else.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: A few years ago, when you and I were in our early 20s, I remember women who were trying to be, you know, get their equality and stuff, and uh they uh they started buying cheap.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: They were every a pickup truck was cheap.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: You get a pickup truck for 9,500.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: He's talking about Jane Fonda guys.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, back then, yeah.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Those kind of women are women that wanted to work, and all of a sudden they started to buy up all these trucks.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Now I have a lady a couple of years ago down the street from here.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: She's doing my nails.
- 19:45unknown: Yeah.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: She's been doing this for years.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: She's probably the best nail person.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Did you have your nails done?
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I do once in a while.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: But anyway, don't interrupt me, or you'll lose the thing here.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: So anyway, so she's doing my nails.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: So we talk about her new truck her and her husband got.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: Now you can get a really good Mercedes for$60,000 to$70,000.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: They paid$93,000.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: You know what I said to her?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Because I'm like a big kid.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: I said, it's gonna take you a whole lot of these nail doing to get that done.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: The next week she quit.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: The guy who was running the shop, she quit.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I got her to quit because she all of a sudden she did talk about it mathematically.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: She's getting paid$30 or$40 back then, whatever it was.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: How many of those nails do you have to do to pay$93,000?
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: And why should a truck be$93,000?
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: It's highway robbery.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's all because they became popular.
- 20:39SPEAKER_02: All right, all right.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: Anyway, let's go back to Lindsey Graham.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: We're getting off track.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: So my point here is this is one of the complaints that I have.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: You wanted me to come in here to talk foreign policy.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:49SPEAKER_02: And part of foreign policy is uh our situation is uh appraising what's going on with Russia and Ukraine.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: Uh and Ukraine has said one of the things Vladimir said just recently, and Trump actually backed him up on it by saying that uh uh Ukraine should have elections.
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Since since I've invaded uh Ukraine, says Vladimir, uh Zelensky has been the president, he hasn't had an election.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: So according to uh Putin, that means that Zelensky is not a democratically representing the leader of Ukraine.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: Well, let's think about it.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: Put on your thinking.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: Uh Putin invaded Ukraine, they're in the middle of a war, and yet they're supposed to hold an election.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: Zelensky said, okay, Vladimir, I'll hold an election.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: You stop attacking me for two months, just two months, and give me time to organize our country and hold campaigns and have other candidates, and I'll have an election.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: And he won't stop.
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: Vladimir won't stop.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: I'm befuddled.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Because first the first my first thought is he's about.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Now, okay, so we're kids playing in a sandbox.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Hey, if I go up and be the king of the world, we're gonna have peace and love will prevail.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Now, I think that's the way most young people think, ideally.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Why what is going on?
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: What does he want out of um?
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: Now when he was in the sandbox, he was thinking about how to steal your toys from the sandbox.
- 22:22unknown: That's what he's saying.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: His idea is there's no such thing as love and peace and sharing.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: It's I want it in ILT.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: You know, there are people who are born that way.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Do you know I had a doctor and he was on my show, an orthopedic surgeon retired.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: We were at a hiking camp up in Vermont, and then he came back.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: They live over in uh Clearwater or whatever.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: So we go over there and we go to an Italian restaurant upscale, really nice.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: But I mean, he told me that he was a he was when he was in med school, he was a lifeguard on Long Island.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: And they would work all summer and then they'd get a chunk of money,$600,000, whatever it was.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: And he said, I would use that money at the end of the season for my books to continue med school.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: He said, So there's this guy that comes along who's who's one of the uh lifeguards, and he goes to the the people that are handing up the money, so they all sent me over here to get the money.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Madoff.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: And he madoff with all their money.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: Who's Bernie Madoff?
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Bernie Madoff.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: He was a lifeguard.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: This guy had a proclivity way back then, you know.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: So he was a scam artist.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're right about people having a proclivity, you know.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: So so anyway, uh the the problem we have is that we've got a president that doesn't understand Vladimir Putin.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: He thinks he understands Putin.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: Because Putin gives him lots of praise.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: McDonald has a need for flattery and praise.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: And he has a weakness for flattery and praise.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: And Putin dishes it out and gives him, oh, you're the smartest, the greatest, la la la.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: And and therefore Trump says, Oh, well, if you think that, then I really like you.
- 24:01SPEAKER_02: You must be a friend of it.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, I um I have a friend in town, and uh he created something and he became a billionaire.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: He sold his business for a billion.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And his uh I've met him, I've been to his house for dinner a couple times.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: He's a young guy, he's younger than me.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: That's really boy, you want to feel bad, you know?
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: Be 72 and you need to work.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: This guy's like 40 and he's a billionaire.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: But anyway, his children went to school with Donald Trump.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: And now I've I've been in the room with his son, which I'm not that highly impressed with.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: He's okay.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Which one?
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Donald or Donald Jr.?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: The one yeah, the one who's mostly in the pub, public.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Donald Jr.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: And then now his daughter and I were at an event together.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Ivanka.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Ivan.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: And now she I was impressed with.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Ivanka's impressed.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: She would make a great president, I think.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: But anyway, yeah, out of all of them.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, so they don't have what uh what was the point I was gonna make on this?
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: The point the point I want to make is that you know, when we talked about Vladimir Putin, let me finish.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: Vladimir Putin uh is uh you've got Don Jr.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: who held a wedding reception at the guy that was paying for his wedding reception.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: No, he paid for a party the next day.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Okay, it's a wedding reception related party.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: That's fake news, which is bulk of first though.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: Wedding reception party the day after and the day after.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: It's like the guy who was who he rented two islands in the Bahamas, private islands.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: Let me finish.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: And you're right.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: They should be cleaner than a normal person when you're in office.
- 25:37SPEAKER_02: And and this guy who who put on this huge party for Donald's Yeah, million bucks or whatever.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Million bucks.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: He happens to be two steps removed from Vladimir Putin.
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: His Vladimir Putin's bodyguard in charge of personal security is step number one.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: And this guy is the closest guy to the bodyguard of Vladimir Putin.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: So he's the one who's funding the first time.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying yay or nay, but you think that you you're probably one of the people that think that Donald Trump has been playing us.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: I think that that this is an outrageous situation.
- 26:10SPEAKER_02: The wife, uh, the new wife of Don Jr., she was saying, Well, why can't people just be friends?
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: If they want to give me a gift, they can give me a gift.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: No, they can't.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: When you're talking about the president and the son of the president and the Russians giving a gift to the son of the president.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: That's that's considered to be corruption.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Now, everybody I know that goes to see Donald personally, even people on TV that are anti, he's very cordial and he knows how to be polite.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: I don't want to know why in public, except maybe he's learned to manipulate the press, because he says outrageous crap.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, I interviewed General Colin Powell.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: I liked him.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: I told him I would I would vote, I would stand on the street corner for him.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: So anyway, he didn't run because his wife had had psychiatric care and he didn't want the press dragging him through the clean.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Anyway, he would have been a great first black president.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: But did they so anyway?
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: I liked him very much.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: So years later, he dies, and the next day Donald's picking on him.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: And was was was he a intellectually inferior person?
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: No, he was hardworking disciplinary and probably more intellectual than I.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: What color was his skin?
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: It was brown, yeah.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: So so much for this theory that No, I'm saying what I saw.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: It's not racism if you can say this group of people.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: No, great people can come from all different methods.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: They can't.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: Ostensibly, they're letting in people who are not up to standard.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: Now you can blame it on the uh being slaves.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, too.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, the Jews were slaved for four thousand four hundred years, excuse me.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: My now you're are you Irish like me?
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: So the Irish were indentured slaves when they first came here.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: How do I be?
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: I worked for you for two years at nothing.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: If you get me over to the United States.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: That's different.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: That's called the No that I didn't know about.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: They were basically the Oh, you mean the lords uh what do you call the feudal lords?
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: The feudal lords came over from England.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: Uh a lot of them came from Scotland.
- 28:13SPEAKER_02: Don't you wonder?
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: Do you have you know what worries me about and I don't know you're if you're in this group.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: But for some reason, maybe it's because of my alliance with Jesus Christ, I I see the world, I see time as it really is.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: We're out of here tomorrow.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: People spending their lives on things that don't matter.
- 28:33unknown: Right.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, money.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, and and and and you know, you you die.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: You're gonna when the moment you're dying, you know, I wish I'd spent more time in the office.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: All right, so what's that got to do with feudal lords in Ireland?
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: I just wonder why people take advantage of it's much life is much nicer when you're kinder.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Let somebody out in traffic, hold the door open at the post office, little things.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: I I agree, but but it helps to understand history.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: What you were implying was that you didn't understand that the Irish were over here as essentially indentured servants, and this was sort of something unique to Ireland.
- 29:09SPEAKER_02: No, it wasn't.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: Many of the people I don't care what you were.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: You're Polish, and you got your way here and you had to and you're indentured, and for you have to work for a couple of years.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: So actually the Poles were not they used to be a big deal.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: I don't know, I don't know.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter when they arrived.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: What matters is the people people got here and they were enslaved, not just black people.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: And so the black people, you know, we're gonna give you, oh, I'm not gonna school because I'm black or I can't read.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: Bull crap.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Pull up your pants and go to work.
- 29:38SPEAKER_02: Let me try to clarify for the audience, because they may be confused about this, and you apparently are.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: That there's a difference between enslavement and indentured.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you ran for the you ran for the racism card immediately on all this.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: No, I just brought up Alan Powell because you'd earlier insulted the blacksmith.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: I did not be smart enough.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: See, now you're missing misinterpreting me.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And you're not re that's not fair.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: Well, you said the Jews were smarter than everybody else, so the blacks have to be stupider than everybody else.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: No, I didn't say the blacks were stupider than everybody else.
- 30:11SPEAKER_02: Well, a lot of people that are racist do.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: They do say that.
- 30:14unknown: Okay.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: All I know is there was this lady on who's highly educated and does all this stuff, and she was saying, here are the stats.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and a lot of the stats are related to family values, and enslavement happens to destroy family values.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: When you're a slave, you don't have family and a good father figure helping to raise your family.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: So then why why aren't the why aren't the reparations, right?
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: So why don't the Jews get reparations for 400 years of being enslaved?
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Uh why don't the Irish that came here that get reparations?
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: Well, the the Jews' reparations, I I I that was they were enslaved by the Egyptians, and I think they took the Sinai as part of their reparations.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, it's like, yeah, maybe so.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: I I don't know how how that all go down.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: But see, you see, you see you uh but I'll tell you about you or anybody else that mocks the God of creation.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not mocking the God of creation.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: Well, be careful because in the Bible it says, I will one day create a country in one day.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: See that my hand by my hand I cannot do it.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: And in 1948, God created a nation in one day.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, well, that was done by the English.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: No, no, I don't care.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Also, the Bible was written by now, and you can't refute how it all matches up.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, even AI will tell you that.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: This this this gives you given me a good chance to do a segue off of Russia, which we've been talking about.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: And I I didn't have to be able to do that.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: And how it was improper for that guy who's three three seats away from Putin to give Donald Trump Jr.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: the money.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: It doesn't it doesn't smack of e you know it you don't do that.
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: It stinks, it stinks.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Well you you should it's not a law, it's it's legal, but the point is um it looks suspicious, let's put it that way.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: It looks suspicious itself.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: For him to be that close to somebody who's only two steps removed from Vladimir Putin.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: This is the son of the president.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: You know, and uh uh and then when you you see suddenly when Donald Trump talks to Vladimir Putin, he suddenly decides, oh, I'm going to abandon the uh uh the sanctions that Lindsey Graham and all of Congress has imposed, and that I signed the bill, I'm going to abandon that, and I'm gonna let Russia sell us diesel fuel.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: So regardless of the diesel trucks and who drives them and so forth.
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: The fact is, diesel fuel makes Russia money.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: When they sell unfortunately, let me excuse them.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: This is the this is the uh this is the incendiary thing at this moment.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: One of the scendiary, yeah.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: Several.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, but that's very incendiary.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: But you come on here.
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: And and it's it it's it's nice to talk about this.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Pro maybe it's fun in some ways to have contests, but can you say anything that's gonna change this?
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think what I would say is that is that the uh Congress should insist that Trump implement uh the uh Lindsey Graham sanctions bill and rescind his decision to give a gift of millions of dollars in diesel to uh to Putin, it's not going to help his chances in the midterm anyway.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, let me ask this.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: So, what do we do about the fact that when Biden got into office, he closed up the pipes from Alaska?
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: Well, that's a totally different.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: Why did he do that?
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: It's it's not totally different because we're reaping, we're reaping what that SOB sowed.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: No, you got it wrong.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: And now we got another SOB who's turning around this way, but at least he's doing something.
- 33:36unknown: Okay, yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_02: The Keystone Pipeline was coming from Alaska, yeah.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: Uh I mean from Canada, uh Alberta, probably.
- 33:43SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty sure it's Alberta.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Uh down uh and it was supposed to pipe oil all the way down to New Orleans.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: New Orleans, okay.
- 33:52SPEAKER_02: Now, you know what they were gonna do with it in New Orleans?
- 33:55SPEAKER_02: Well they were gonna put it into refineries.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 33:59SPEAKER_02: Refineries in New Orleans.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: New Orleans is set up to process heavy crude.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: Stuff coming out of Alaska is heavy crude.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: And therefore, it would then produce diesel, most of which was going to be exported out of this country into Europe and other c parts of the world.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, so what's wrong with that?
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: So the point is that it was not supplying America with anything except making some profits from the refineries that happen to be located in New Orleans.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but right now that could be refined to be being in gas or just to keep a diesel and bring the prices of diesel down.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Well then if you're a farmer right now who averages what, about$25,000 a year income?
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: No, they make a lot more than that.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: $25,000$250,000.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: Sounds like a wall.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: Well, I tell you what, you're talking about corporate farmers.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm telling you that when I was younger, 25 years ago, see I don't know the quotes now, but uh the average farmer made$15,000 a year 20 years ago.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, uh the average farmer made a lot of people.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Now that was a family-run operation.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: I'll tell you some uh a story.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: This is historical because I was just up in northern New York, which is Bull of Dairy Farm.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's where we get our Welcher's grapes from for the Welcher's grape juice.
- 35:11SPEAKER_02: I was in northern New York and I talked to somebody who's 95 years old.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, what'd they say?
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: He told me that he's been watching in the 1960s there were like there were like uh five hundred thousand farms.
- 35:30SPEAKER_02: Family farms up in that northern New York area.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: Five hundred thousand.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: Everybody had a family farm.
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: And today, there are like, you know, uh two percent of those are still around.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: They're all sold off.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: It's really, really it's really sad.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: It's all gone.
- 35:46SPEAKER_02: Family farms are gone.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: Because grandpa gave it to his son, who gave it to his son, and now they tax the heck out of him instead of giving them uh getting off the hook.
- 35:54SPEAKER_02: Well, it wasn't taxing so much, it was also, you know, part of it is the logistics of getting uh milk to the to the buyer.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: You know, these big companies like Walmart, they now own huge farms up there.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Walmart is not a drug, because I gotta tell you something, I just came from Vermont.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Mansfield dairy, okay.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: The other dairies are charging$695 or$650 for organic milk, right?
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: So I go up there, Mansfield, better tasting milk.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: It's a little one little farm there, and for the the local uh supermarkets around there, they all have this Mansfield milk.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: I wish we had it down here.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it's a really a shame.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: But it but it the the profit is just not there against these huge corporations.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: See, this is the pro see, I'm a capitalist, yes.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: But I'm not I I don't know where to draw the line because having all these corporations, you know, right now look at the uh what did they do to our plants?
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: What's the company that changed altered corn so the so the bugs won't need it anymore?
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: HMOs or what are they called?
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 36:54SPEAKER_02: Genetically modified.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, genetically modified.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: GMOs.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: HMOs were home off over.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: So anyway, anyway.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: GMO.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: GMO.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: Uh and well, but no, but that's that's that's worrisome now.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: We've wiped it.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: They can't get a good tomato anymore.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: We've wiped it.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: They have hard skin because the machinery used to squish the tomatoes.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: Now it can't squish the tomatoes.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: All of those.
- 37:13SPEAKER_02: But now you can't eat the you can't eat the uh all those little towns up there are are ghost towns.
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: They used to have a pharmacy, they used to have you know all these little shops and stuff, they're all gone.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Well, Walgreens, even down here and and CVS, they put all the the guy goes to school.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: I've been to I worked at the med school, okay?
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Right next to it was the pharmacy school.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: To be a pharmacist, you've got to be as bright as a doctor.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: And I tell you what, they have more power because if they screw up what you're supposed to get and you're mixing two medicines, how many lives have been ruined that way?
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: How many lives have been saved because they had a guy, uh what do you call him, a pharmacist, handling the prescriptions?
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: You know, I got friends that are pharmacists, they're brilliant people.
- 37:54SPEAKER_02: But this guy, 95 years old, he said, I used to know everybody.
- 37:57SPEAKER_02: I'd go down to the town, my little town, and I knew everybody on the street, and we all talked about this, and your kids grew up with my kids and so forth.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: Nowadays, that destruction of the small town is and and it's not Joe Biden's fault, don't get me wrong.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: Okay, and it's not Donald Trump's fault.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: It's the it's the fault of the corporate process.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: Big industry has taken over and has autonomized a lot of stuff.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: Even if you're working at Barclays Bank, I just saw this on the news.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: Barclays Bank in London.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: You know, I used to bank there when I was living in London.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: They've replaced 5,000 workers with AI.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Why is it always that uh I own I I I open up Rhett Palmer's sub shop?
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, and all of a sudden I'm clearing 150 grand a year.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: Nice little income 25, 30 years ago in upstate New York.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: That's a great income.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: Now I say, hey, we're gonna build another one.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Because if I have five of them at 150,000, let's knock it down to 100,000, I'm gonna be making half a million a year.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: I get 20 of them, I got a million dollars a year coming in.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: Now, but why?
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: So I understand a little bit of the greed thing, but why do corporations always these monsters are up there and they just and people keep flooding buying their stock and stuff, and they just eat up everything that gets in the way.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: Why does why does everybody want to think bigger is better?
- 39:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: Well, that's uh you know, I'm I'm one of these guys like Jim Finney, uh locally grown concept of we should buy from our own producers, support our own local communities.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: I've remembered I told you about a friend, one one of my friends who became a billionaire, he sold his business a couple years ago.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: He said, Well, if it's any consol, and he's he's 20 years younger than me.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: And he says, Well, if it's any consolation, I was so depressed the day I sold it.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: So I chewed on that for a couple of months.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: He was depressed.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: I thought, hmm.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: And I said, Well, I know why.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: Because right now, let's just say that um I love doing my show right now, okay?
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: I love the show.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: It gives me a purpose as a 72-year-old.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, I don't get any money from the Christian station, but I love doing that.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: But let's say all of a sudden I sold this.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: I said, We'll give you two million bucks, Mr.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Palmerce.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: You can go up, retire, pay the pay the taxes.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: You ended up with$1.3,$1.4 million.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: You can put that in annuities, and you're gonna be doing okay with your Social Security and other stuff, you know.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: So what was the point I was gonna try to make?
- 40:20SPEAKER_02: The point is that you're thinking about retirement.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: No.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: Oh no, uh the guy that was depressed.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: So all of a sudden, now I sell it.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: Now come Monday, I don't walk in here anymore.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: I don't see duoling.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: What's your I don't see what's my uh Mary, who's the secretary.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: I've lost my family, my friends.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and uh okay, I got a billion dollars in a in a in a in a make-believe account somewhere.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: I mean it's really just a bunch of bunk.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: 1.5 million, let's be honest.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: Why 1.5 million?
- 40:51SPEAKER_02: You just told me you said.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: No, but I'm saying, let's say some but I'm saying, you know, like no, I'm talking about him and a billion.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: He made a billion because he's he's sold his family.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: Okay, let's move on to Israel.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: So so I agree with you that we, you know, more is not necessarily matter of fact, I should interview him and ask him how has this affected you?
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: Because he's young, he's married, beautiful five or six kids, he's highly educated.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: He went to school, as I said, with Trump's kids.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: Uh so anyway.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Bring him on the show.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: Well, you wonder about, you know, telling the truth, I grew up thinking that everybody in Hollywood was having a good time.
- 41:34unknown: They weren't.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: No, I've been you know, I'm I'm I'm at somebody's house and they're super famous, and I'm sitting in the kitchen.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: And I always thought, I don't know, it's stupid.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: I always thought, oh, they're all they're all together and they have their own little world and this and that.
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: No.
- 41:48SPEAKER_02: All the kids.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: The husband's the husband sits on the toilet like everybody else.
- 41:52SPEAKER_02: All the kids are in psychotherapy.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: Let's put it that way.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: Well, I uh uh the one I'm talking about, one child committed suicide.
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: When I interviewed who used to uh Fess Parker, who who uh played Daniel Boone.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: So I I flew out to California, I'm interviewing him at his winery.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: We're out in the field right there.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I've had you know batteries running my key my thing on it.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so I said, Why did you do this?
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, you were you're the only guy that was signed to Disney for a lifetime contract.
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: He said, because Gregory Peck's son committed suicide.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: Art Link Letters, I think daughter or son committed suicide.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: He went through nine of them.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: Remember, Bob Dylan has a line of one of his songs, Help Me, I'm helpless like a rich man's son.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: Because when when you when you give money to somebody and they just go, Well, what am I gonna do?
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't have to work.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: Uh dad gave me a hundred million, so I just play golf every day and don't mature.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: Having this radio show, I came to this town, I did not get I did not like politics, I didn't even read the newspaper, to be honest with you, as a 34, 36-year-old guy, whatever it was.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: It forced me.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: So in some ways, it got me to become a deeper person.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: But in some ways, maybe it stole a good life.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Because maybe I was happier when I was a little more ignorant.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: You know, you and I are arguing today about the diesel.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, the diesel thing.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, but you know, a year from now, I I've been left.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, what that oh, that was a year ago.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Remember, that was taking care of Baba, and you're on to the next thing.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: Next year's always gonna be something, a man.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm more interested in in the humans.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: Now now, of course, that's me.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: You know, I probably should have been a priest.
- 43:35SPEAKER_02: Let's go back.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: You mentioned uh Israel and the fact that they were slaves.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: Which is true.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: And blacks used to have black slaves in Africa, we know now.
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, I know, I know.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: So there's good and evil in every camp.
- 44:01SPEAKER_02: But but but the point is uh what's going on now in Israel uh he has been charged by the International Criminal Court with uh war crimes.
- 44:18SPEAKER_02: As a result of that, his friend, your friend Donald, declared the International Criminal Court to be itself fake uh and corrupt.
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: Let me London let me just explain this though.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: All these fake democratic judges who are local regional judges have been a prick in the side of Donald Trump.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: He uh every every week he has to go to the Supreme Court to say, nope, what that judge said doesn't hold.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: Boom.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: Let's say on the internet.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: They play this stupid game, just trying to get in the way of any progress.
- 44:52SPEAKER_02: That's domestic uh judges, and and I'm not gonna go there, whether you know uh Santa Mayor is uh you know prejudice and so forth.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna go there.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: No, uh and then I want to ask you why you hate Netanyahu.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this though.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: So Israel's the only country that could be attacked and then get blamed for the attack.
- 45:13SPEAKER_02: No, that's not true, but but but you're you're falling into what I call uh familiar troip, which is you know repeated uh uh slogans that uh you know everybody uh hates Israel because Israel is the best.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: That's why they hate Israel.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they they do.
- 45:31SPEAKER_02: They're all jealous of Israel.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: That's why they're they're jealous of us.
- 45:34SPEAKER_00: Why do you have why do you have these guys in Iran saying, I mean, since I've been a boy, Iran has been saying, death to America, death to America, death to America.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: And now we're letting an Iranians that are living here saying, please set us free again.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: The women said, you know, we have to wear these burkas now.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: We had a free society like you did, and these Muslims took it over.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: Actually, if you look at the TV programs about uh you know the the people of Iran today in Tehran, walking around on the street, about half the women do not wear burkas.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: That's baloney.
- 46:02SPEAKER_02: You know, where are you where do you get pets?
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: At least half of the women on the TV that they're filming every day as they're walking around shopping in the market, they do not wear burkas.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: If we have a liberal press, why aren't they reporting that?
- 46:14SPEAKER_02: Well, they are reporting it if they were looking at the news that's coming out, literally food uh film footage out of the streets as people are shopping.
- 46:23SPEAKER_00: I watch this stuff all day and I don't see many women that don't wear burger.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: Anyway, that so so Now you lived there, didn't you?
- 46:29SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't live in Iran.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: No, no, I did you in Pakistan.
- 46:32SPEAKER_02: But let me mention something, because Donald Trump now is proposing with Netanyahu, uh it's been in the news in the last day or two, that there are plans, quote, secret plans, for another full-scale attack on Iran right after the elections, the U.S.
- 46:49SPEAKER_02: elections, in November.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: Now, of course, this might be m being made up by the other side who wants to thwart him, not get the votes.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: Because fear is a great manipulator.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: Well, well, it certainly Don't vote for him, he's gonna have a war.
- 47:03SPEAKER_02: Oh unfortunately, Don Netanyahu himself has been saying openly and publicly, we need to finish the job.
- 47:12SPEAKER_02: We want to go in and finish the job by destroying Iran.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: So I have a neighbor who threatens to kill me all the time.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: He does?
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: It's been twenty no, it's been twenty-five years he's been threatening me.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: His name is Iran, yeah.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: And he's been he's been wanting to kill me.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, I'm tired.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Uh and and matter of fact, they they they uh uh you know they've killed and kidnapped people on my street, and they keep saying death to Rhett Palmer and his family and all his friends.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, they have been saying this.
- 47:45SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 47:46unknown: We we've we've talked about this.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: There have been some really bad guys.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: The Muslim Brotherhood or whatever it is.
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: We've talked about this before regarding Iran.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: I'm not going to defend some things that Iran has done, but I want to explain why Iran is our enemy.
- 48:01SPEAKER_02: And and this goes back to the why is Iran our enemy.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: The Shah.
- 48:07SPEAKER_02: The Shah, how did the Shah get into power?
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: Uh uh He was put into power by the Brits?
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: No.
- 48:13SPEAKER_02: The Brits and the CIA.
- 48:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 48:16SPEAKER_02: We basically, the CIA.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: Are you telling me the truth?
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you the absolute truth.
- 48:20SPEAKER_02: Let me ask you the god-awful truth.
- 48:21SPEAKER_02: You know what we're doing here?
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:23SPEAKER_00: How come there's not one major TV show like this where somebody puts the just puts the truth out and let the people decide?
- 48:31unknown: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_02: Well, anyway, let's not get off on that track.
- 48:34SPEAKER_02: The point is, this could be our salvation.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: The simple point is that the United States, Kermit Roosevelt, that's the guy's name, Kermit Roosevelt.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: Kermit the fraud.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: Kermit Roosevelt.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: Roosevelt, FDO.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: He was he was he was the son of Teddy Roosevelt, or the grandson of Teddy Roosevelt.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: He was working for the CIA and he was tasked with organizing to overthrow Moussadek, who was the elected president of Iran in 1953.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: That's the year I was born.
- 49:01SPEAKER_02: And and so anyway, uh we he was able to do this.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: He was working with the Brits.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: The Brits wanted this done because they had something called the Anglo-Persian Oil Company.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: If they happened to have a huge uh chunk of Iranian oil that they controlled.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: So what you're getting to me is this it's always follow the damn money.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Well, that was Well, you know what Jesus said?
- 49:26SPEAKER_00: He didn't say money was evil, but he said the love of money is the root of all evil.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, anyway.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Now if the Messiah said that.
- 49:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's right.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: He's right.
- 49:36SPEAKER_02: So the point is the point is that the United States, as the junior ally of the Brits and British uh Anglo-Petroleum, Anglo-Iranian petroleum, they overthrew the elected leader of a uh Iranian uh state in order to install the Shah of Iran, who later on, as he got installed, he developed this horrible, brutal uh secret police called the Savak.
- 50:02SPEAKER_02: And the Savak were arresting and killing and torturing all these uh people inside Iran.
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: This was under our quote, blessed by America uh uh regime, the Shah.
- 50:14SPEAKER_02: And then finally the Shah became so unpopular he was overthrown by the Ayatollah.
- 50:19SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: Now, when the Ayatollah got into office, they started saying, well, the I mean the Iranian the Americans were the ones who brought about this horrible time against us, so we are not their friend.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: They are our enemy.
- 50:31SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 50:32SPEAKER_02: So they became our enemy because we installed a uh a brutal regime called the Shah of Iran to begin with.
- 50:40SPEAKER_02: Now, today, if you scroll forward you know, 45 years, the Shah of Iran's son is still out there.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: He's one of the alternative choices for if you overthrow the Iranian Ayatollahs, the Shah is waiting to come back.
- 50:54SPEAKER_02: The Shah's son is.
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 50:56SPEAKER_02: He's one of the I'm gonna actually be talking about this with this this men's group.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: Well, the people that were pro uh the Shah are all dead and gone now.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: No, they're well mostly.
- 51:06SPEAKER_00: So how where does he get this following that they're willing to he's obviously being funded by somebody.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: Well, he he unless his father socked away, you know, a billion dollars and he just wants to do this in the name of his father.
- 51:19SPEAKER_02: A lot of the Iranian, rich Iranians when the Shah fell, they did not all die by the sword of Ayatollah.
- 51:26SPEAKER_02: They came to America and they brought their money with them.
- 51:31SPEAKER_02: And you know where they moved to?
- 51:33SPEAKER_02: A lot of them moved to Beverly Hills.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: Beverly Hills has an Iranian American mayor.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: And many of the millionaires and very rich people in uh the United States are Iranians who fled with the Shah.
- 51:51SPEAKER_02: They're the the Shah's friends.
- 51:53SPEAKER_02: Okay, and they're still here and they're backing the return of the Shah so that they can come back over and take over the lands that they lost to the Mullahs.
- 52:02SPEAKER_02: So this is basically sort of like you know, the Cuban uh exiles.
- 52:06SPEAKER_02: The Cuban exiles, they want to go back to Cuba and take over, you know, these five thousand-acre sugarcane farms that they had when they had to flee after Castro came in.
- 52:17SPEAKER_02: So it's the same thing.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: So you've got you've got a a a vested group of uh what you called Persian Americans that are ready to come back to take over parts of the land that they lost.
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, now I want you to sum this up and then we're gonna take a break and come back and do something else, all right?
- 52:34SPEAKER_00: And we'll continue to talk about whatever you want to talk about.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: It could even be the same thing.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: But I want to take a break.
- 52:39SPEAKER_00: Is that gonna be okay with you?
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: Folks, you're listening right here.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: Would you push the phone towards me?
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 52:44SPEAKER_00: Folks, I want to let you know.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna we're gonna say to loo.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get some fresh coffee.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: Can you see me?
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: Can you see me now?
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna get some fresh coffee and do some stuff here.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: We're gonna come back on probably in 10 minutes.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, but I'm gonna move over to uh Rhett Palmer.
- 52:59SPEAKER_00: Uh I got 7,100 viewers over there, and here we only have about 6,000.
- 53:05SPEAKER_00: So uh and I don't know how many people are responding at Vero's voice media.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: Thank you for watching here.
- 53:10SPEAKER_00: But if you want to continue watching Diplomat David Hunter and myself chat and have honest chat here, um with no agenda, and there's no oil companies or pharmaceutical companies putting any money in our pockets.
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: We're just here.
- 53:25SPEAKER_00: Uh matter of fact, neither one of us are being paid a dime for this.
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: And that's the truth.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: All right, we continue our conversation.
- 53:34SPEAKER_00: We've moved from uh oh, I gotta go live.
- 53:37SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:38SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: Three, two, one, we're going live.
- 53:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:44SPEAKER_00: Now we're live on Facebook.
- 53:45SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:47SPEAKER_00: So uh we went from Vero's voice media.
- 53:50SPEAKER_00: Now we're over on Rhett Palmer.
- 53:51SPEAKER_00: So we'll see uh what's going on over there.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: We're trying to figure all this stuff out.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: We definitely we have somebody in our midst who he says he's a consultant with these sort of things, and we need some salvation.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: We've been praying for that vehemently.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: Honestly praying.
- 54:04SPEAKER_00: And uh I was just praying this morning, believe me.
- 54:07SPEAKER_00: Uh so uh so God does answer prayers.
- 54:10unknown: Good to be here.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: Good to have you here.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: We also have my friend, uh, he's in you can't see him on camera.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: His name is Jeff, he's a new friend.
- 54:17SPEAKER_00: He works in social media, and he's taking care of one of my clients who's a Christian counselor and his uh partner, the two of them, and they have a show here now, and uh they're trying to build up numbers so they get more clientele.
- 54:28SPEAKER_00: And you're helping them with that.
- 54:29SPEAKER_00: So good to have you here, Jeff.
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: Appreciate your new friendship.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, so what are we going to talk about now?
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: David Hunter, former U.S.
- 54:35SPEAKER_00: diplomat to uh Ukraine, uh India, Spain, uh uh Pakistan and Korea, South Korea.
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: Korea, South Korea.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: So he was a U.S.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: diplomat, and so he's retired now living in Vero Beach, Florida.
- 54:50SPEAKER_00: But we go over these things and sometimes we have little uh contests with each other.
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: That's all right.
- 54:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, the the point is people have uh the right to disagree with each other, but they should, as we've always done, should show respect for the other person in their meetings.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: Well we made it we made a covenant years ago.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: Uh because we've been uh we've been doing the show since I was on the radio about what eight, nine years.
- 55:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:12SPEAKER_00: And uh and we were on every week for for a couple hours, and uh uh we made a covenant that no matter how hard uh you're yelling, you got to yell, I yelled.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: We said when the can when the cameras go off, when the microphones are off, um we shake hands and it that the the you know it's it's uh it's uh above personalities, it's uh a covenant above personalities.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: So and uh and and and I just I ran into a guy today who was uh he's a social science, social science teacher professor.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: And I said, Are you liberal or considered?
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: I'm more I'm more liberal.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: And I said, Well, I want to talk about I'd like to have him come down to my studio.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: I think we all need to listen to each other.
- 55:53SPEAKER_00: You don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like like with Trump.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: Do you think some of the things he does or says really just blow my mind?
- 56:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I also think he's been good for us in some ways, you know, and so and I I think any any reasonable person would would agree that he comes with with some good things and some bad things.
- 56:11SPEAKER_02: Like all of us, right?
- 56:12SPEAKER_02: Like all of us, yeah.
- 56:13SPEAKER_02: That that's it.
- 56:14SPEAKER_02: Nobody's perfect, let's put it that way.
- 56:16SPEAKER_02: Uh speaking of that, though, uh what we want to talk about in this uh segment is uh what I call the looming uh second stage of the Iran war.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: And Israel, especially Netanyahu.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: No, Netanyahu has said he's got a plan to attack Iran again?
- 56:35SPEAKER_02: He's he does.
- 56:36SPEAKER_02: He's actually made that announcement openly.
- 56:38SPEAKER_02: He was trying, according to news reports, he was trying in the last week before uh his Israeli elections, which are coming up next week, he was trying to get Trump to start a new war with Iran.
- 56:51SPEAKER_02: Uh that he thought would help him or would disrupt his election.
- 56:56SPEAKER_02: Either way, be good for Daniel.
- 56:58SPEAKER_02: Daniel, who is now looking at uh uh being uh the possibility of losing the election.
- 57:03SPEAKER_02: So from his point of view, a war before the election would postpone the election and therefore would keep him in office.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 57:11SPEAKER_02: So you know, I w I want to uh mention a couple of things about uh the election itself.
- 57:16SPEAKER_02: We talked about Israel.
- 57:18SPEAKER_02: Um the um there are other candidates besides Netanyahu, and and uh they're uh the audience out there following mainstream news, they know nothing about what I'm about to do.
- 57:30SPEAKER_00: Well you you think Netanyahu is a hawk, right?
- 57:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, he's a hawk.
- 57:33SPEAKER_00: He's considered But you're saying these other people are also hawks?
- 57:36SPEAKER_02: He's considered to be far right.
- 57:38SPEAKER_02: Netanyahu with his group, Ben Gavir and Smotrich, they are considered to be far right Israeli Zionists.
- 57:45SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 57:45SPEAKER_02: Uh that's clear.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: Now the the point is that he's running against five other people, uh or four other people.
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: Um and uh Well the good thing about that is yeah that that's gonna that's gonna um break down uh you know uh the the that group.
- 58:03SPEAKER_00: Well frack fracture it.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be fractured and uh let me let me explain it has more of a chance to keep staying office that way.
- 58:10SPEAKER_02: Let me explain the other people that are running against Netanyahu, they go from what's called center right to far right.
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: There's nobody in that mix, the liberals.
- 58:22SPEAKER_02: There are no liberals in Israel today.
- 58:24SPEAKER_02: Everybody in Israel, almost, except for a few of the rabbis.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: How come the Jews here are l tend to be liberal democrats?
- 58:31SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm not gonna go into that.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: I want to focus on Israel itself, right?
- 58:36SPEAKER_02: Because that's where the election is.
- 58:37SPEAKER_00: So the the the Jew that's in Israel is different than the Jew that lives in New York City.
- 58:41SPEAKER_02: Well, there are people from the United States who are flying to Israel uh to vote.
- 58:47SPEAKER_02: Israel does not allow absentee ballots, so you have to fly to Israel if you want to vote.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine spending all that money in that are lots of eight-hour flight, isn't it?
- 58:56SPEAKER_02: There are lots of people?
- 58:57SPEAKER_02: Lots of people are doing 10 hours, 13 hours.
- 59:00SPEAKER_02: A lot of people are doing it.
- 59:01SPEAKER_02: Okay, there are probably uh, you know, in New York itself, there are probably 50,000 uh registered Israeli voters that are going to be flying over to Israel.
- 59:10unknown: Okay.
- 59:10SPEAKER_02: Uh but that's that's not that small potato.
- 59:12SPEAKER_02: I wish I had a jet right now.
- 59:14SPEAKER_02: That's small you could probably hitch a ride.
- 59:16SPEAKER_02: That's a small potatoes.
- 59:17SPEAKER_02: I want to make the money, it's right.
- 59:19SPEAKER_02: Okay, there that's small potatoes.
- 59:21SPEAKER_02: The point is that you've got uh what I'm trying to explain is the people in Israel today, yeah, they have become more and more far right uh and moved to the right since the uh the attack uh by Hamas and the war that's been going on for now.
- 59:36SPEAKER_02: Three years.
- 59:37SPEAKER_02: It's almost three years the war's been going on.
- 59:39SPEAKER_02: Uh uh with the bombing of uh Gaza, uh the uh increasing expanding settlement in the West Bank itself.
- 59:49SPEAKER_02: You've seen a lot of uh news about that.
- 59:52SPEAKER_02: We even had a US congressional candidate and a uh a Jewish American uh news journalist that were beat up on the West Bank in the last week by these.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_00: I saw the I was I was surprised to see Israeli youth behaving in such a manner.
- 1:00:09SPEAKER_00: That that did shock me because I I've seen the Palestinian youth acting like that for years, yeah, and the vitriol that they're born with.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised to see that uh them acting so unkind.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: They even took advantage of and beat up a female journalist.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the journalist.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_02: She was she was beat up, and she's Jewish on top of it all, which is adding insult to injury.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_00: So um a Jew beaten by the Jews.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_00: Right, but but that's not under somebody who was beating it, wouldn't say, hey, hold on!
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_02: Actually Baruch Hashem on the night actually uh there there was uh also a group uh 90 uh rabbis that were engaged in monitoring the olive harvest, which is what's done in the Palestinian West Bank.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_02: This time of year is olive harvest season.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: In the West Bank.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_00: In the West Bank.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_00: No, you said the rabbis?
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_02: Rabbis, ninety rabbis, but I thought but I thought this was these are these are Jewish rabbis who are supporting the Palestinians' right to collect their own olives.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: You have the right, you own the land, you're picking your olives, you have the right to collect your olives.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: Guess what?
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: The young Jewish uh extremists, they come down out of the high hilltop and steal the grapes?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: They they don't just steal the olives.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: They beat up the people trying to pick the olives.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_02: They beat up with sticks.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_02: They've got sticks and and and iron rods, and they attack the olive pickers.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_00: So rabbis So you're saying that the Jew, the little Jewish kids are brought up with hatred just like the little Palestinian kids are brought up with hatred.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_02: Um I'm not I I I I'm not gonna Because hate is taught.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but anyway, anyway, the question you know of who hit first, that's the that's of course a legitimate point.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_02: But these kids, the Jewish kids that are these these uh what they call hilltop youth, uh they are even at age six and eight and ten, they are going out with the older kids to go up and beat up the uh the Palestinians on the West Bank.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_02: So that's that's sort of the situation we're in today.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_02: It's not a nice situation.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_02: Uh as I said, the Israeli public in general has shifted more and more to the right.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_02: So they are Smokereach and Ben Gabir, they're saying we support entirely this attack on the Palestinians on the West Bank.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_02: The Palestinians have no business in the U.S.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_02: That's what they're saying right now.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_02: If you look at the candidates, let's go to the candidates, because this is interesting.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_02: This is an interesting bit.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_02: Uh one of the candidates who's the most likely to to to uh defeat Netanyahu, his name is Gaudi Isencott.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_02: Gotti Eisencott is former head of the uh Israeli uh defense forces.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_02: He was the top guy in the Israeli Defense Forces.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_02: Um he uh has uh said that he does not support annexing the West Bank, but he does uh uh oppose any sovereignty for Palestinian states.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_02: This is sort of two different sides of the same coin.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_02: We don't want a sovereign uh we don't want a sovereign Palestinian state.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_02: This is something the United States has long argued for, and Europe has long argued for, it's called the two-state solution.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_02: Two-state solution means a state for Palestine and a state for Israel living in the same area, both a sovereign state.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_02: Eisenhock, who is the leading candidate against Netanyahu, he is against uh any sovereign state for Palestine.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_02: He doesn't want a sovereign state.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_02: What happens to the Palestinians?
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_02: Well, who knows?
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_02: They can move away or they can live under uh what's called a apartheid regime with Jews being the superior in the uh in the one state that is called Israel.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_02: That's that's the solution of Isencott.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_02: Not a terrible terribly liberal guy, but at least he's uh he's not proposing the annexing of the West Bank as openly.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_02: You get to the next guy on the list.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_02: His name is Naftali Bennett.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_02: Naftali Bennett?
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_02: He would be considered to be uh uh more of a um, far right.
- 1:04:06SPEAKER_02: Far right.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_02: No, more far right.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_02: More far right.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_02: Eisencott is is considered centrist because he is at least not proposing annexation of the West Bank.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_02: Eisencott also believes in what's called mow the grass.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_02: The concept of mow the grass, he invented it.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_02: Uh this is the idea that you can control the Palestinian terrorists by occasionally just you know doing small episodes of killing a bunch of people and then showing your dominance and then backing away.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_02: And this is sort of mowing the grass every every month, in this case every year, knocking down any radicals and then backing away, but not destroying the Palestinians entirely.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_02: That's what's been going on, in fact.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_02: Eisencott was uh self-defense minister you know back in 2014.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_02: They've been mowing the grass for years.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_02: It works, but it's it still leaves this problem of occasional breakouts.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_02: So uh anyway, now Tali Bennett is more extreme.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_02: He he basically is in favor of annexing uh area C of the of the West Bank.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_02: Uh and um uh and then there's a guy named Yar Lapide, he's he's a third major leading uh political figure.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_02: He used to be in favor of a two-state solution, but Yar Lapide is now joining with Naftali Bennett.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_02: So they are now partners in a common position.
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_02: So I think he is going to probably support uh Bennett's more far right uh position.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_02: So and then you get people like uh, you know, uh So what is your prediction?
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_00: Do you think uh I'm thinking it's fractured, so I figured he's gonna get the majority, at least more than them.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_00: Do you have to have a 50% majority there or just more than the other guys?
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_02: Uh I think you have to have a 50% majority of your not just your party, but your party plus your coalition members.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_02: You have to you have to pull in a coalition.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_02: So if if uh if the party of Tali Bennett and and uh uh Lepede gets like forty percent, then they need to go to somebody else for another ten percent.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_02: And that would bring them over the top.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: And that other candidate's allowed to give away those votes?
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the other th it's basically like brokering.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_02: It's like brokering, brokering your party.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_02: No, the the concept is.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_00: So they're up front are they up front.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: If I lose, this'll I'm I'm I'm I'm running against you.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_00: But if I lose, I promise to give my votes to this guy, sit here, Jeff.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that well that's the way it is.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_00: It's like And this other guy said he's gonna give them to Renee.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_00: So when I vote for you, I know that I'm gonna get Jeff.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_00: But if I vote for the other guy and he wins, but uh then then that either gonna have Renee.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's a brokering, it's a brokered uh parliamentary system.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_02: Uh there is, believe it or not, uh out of the uh seats in the in the Knesset, there are 14 seats that are held by what's called the Arab bloc.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_02: Believe it or not, there are Arabs who live, these are Palestinians, Arabs, that live in Israel and are entitled to vote.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_00: There's a whole lot of Arabs there, and they get along with the Jews.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_00: Well, how does that happen?
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's not happening very well.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_02: And and in fact, what's happening with some of the far right is they're proposing to block the Arab bloc's vote.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_02: Say you're not allowed to vote.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_02: That's something that's up right now in discussion.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: And of course, the idea is that the Arab bloc obviously is more liberal, and they could throw their vote in a close race to help persuade and then become a what you called a a balance of power.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_00: Well, they're trying to change in America now.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_00: You have to be American born in order to become president.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_00: Now they want senators, congressmen, congresswomen.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_00: They have to be born here.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_00: Because we're having an influx of these people that came here, unregistered.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: Look, I don't mind migrants.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_00: This country's made uh we were migrants.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: We're Irish.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_00: And and we're all Irish.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: And the the Jews are migrants.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_00: The Germans are migrants.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_00: I mean the Poles are migrants.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so are the English.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_00: They were So I'm nothing against migrants, but I do against illegal migrants.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_02: We're not going to get off on illegal migrants.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_00: I want to mention this this issue of the Israeli.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_00: Why do you want some who what do you have any idea how to reconcile that situation?
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_02: Well, the reconciliation here is not going to make any difference who is elected and in charge of Israel.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_02: All of them are going to be far right.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_00: I mean here.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about Israel.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_02: We're talking stay on the subject.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_02: Israel, Israel is the is because when you say eh, keep in mind, whoever is in charge in Israel is going to be if influencing how the Palestinians are are treated, how Arabs in neighboring countries like Jordan and Syria and Lebanon are treated.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_02: And if they are all taking this what I call a supremacy attitude, that nobody that's Arab is qualified to even live in Israel.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_02: That's sort of where it's going.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_02: Then that's going to make relations with their Arab neighbors worse and worse.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_02: It's not going to get better.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_02: There's nobody in the moderate camp.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_02: The moderate camp is empty.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_00: So we know all the bad things, but I you know I picked up uh who's the who's the supreme uh liberal democrat in the United States up in Burlington?
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_00: Bernie.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Bernie, okay.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_00: So I picked up his book at a Barnes and Noble.
- 1:09:28unknown: Okay.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_02: Did it burn you?
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_00: And and uh well I'm a relational guy.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you that story in a minute.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_00: But uh I I saw a lot of grumbling.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_00: But I didn't see a lot of solution.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_02: In the book.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_02: Well he's he's he does.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna get into Bernie's defense.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_00: I do want to say this for the my the the uh the the live audience that's here.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_00: We have a few people here.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_00: I want to say this.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_00: I was up at a July 4th parade up in Vermont a couple years ago.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_00: Bernie Sanders, it was a place where they had giant penises and vagina.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, it was all kinds of crap.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_00: It was really a very liberal woke group.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_00: Of course, at the end of it, there comes Bernie.
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_00: Now, I I I watch people because I'm about this.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_00: And this young man, like about this guy, comes over the hill and said, Oh, Bernie, Bernie, can I get your can I can I shake your hand?
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_00: And so, shake my hand, okay?
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_00: Ready?
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, you come come at me now.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_00: Okay, come at me.
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_00: Uh this is what Bernie did.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_00: He's doing the perfunctory thing where he's shaking his hand, but not looking him in the eye.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_00: And it really, it it really got to me.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_00: It bothered you because the the Lord has used that to teach me.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_00: He said there's no such thing as one million.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_00: There's only a million ones.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_00: And if I can't look him in the eye, I'm I'm gonna be your senator and take care of you.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_00: Then don't tell me you can take care of a million people that are under your authority.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_00: The telltale signs are there if somebody cares about the individual.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_02: But that's nothing to do with just uh Bernie or Democrats.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_02: It has to do with politicians in general.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_02: Politicians are always politicians are always looking for the next guy down.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_00: I had a rich real estate lady on the beach who uh was a sponsor of my show years ago.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_00: But you know, the uh the the uh Boston uh uh Boston who that the group comes, you know, and they play the music.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_00: The Boston Pops.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_00: And we were up at uh Windsor where all the billionaires are.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_00: Well, anyway, they had all the things set up and I, you know, and I got to pass because I'm with the media.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_00: But anyway, so she comes up and she shakes my hand like that, and she's looking like this.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_00: I never I never saw anything so rude.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_00: Who else is here?
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_00: Who else is here that I want to meet, you know?
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_00: Power brokers or something.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_00: You know, people that really have power.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_02: Somebody that has money to contribute.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_00: She made lots, millions.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_00: It's like, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_02: It's like uh Well, you know Now she's dead.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_02: Our our whole our whole political system is is based on uh you know pay for vote.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_02: It's really that way.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_02: It's unfortunate that we've we've resulted in that, you know, these people are out trolling for cash, the politicians are.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_02: And and we've talked about that before.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_02: We ought to cut down on the uh amount.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_02: The previous show we said we need to cut down maybe only three months to campaign.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_00: Well, Congressman Posey would become a friend, he's now deceased, but he was a friend.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_00: I liked him.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_00: And he said the moment that he gets re-elected for uh running for more money, yeah.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's ridiculous.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_02: We need to take the money out of politics.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_00: So the only people running the country are the young people that are in the offices.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_00: Because that's why a senator came down here, took me to lunch at uh Vincent's and he said, we want to have a what is it, a think tank.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna work in the office for Congressman Posey, we're gonna send you away for a week to go to Stink Tank, and they're gonna tell you you're a conservative.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_00: This is how you should think if you're a conservative.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_00: This is what we believe.
- 1:12:46unknown: Right.
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_00: You know, if you're gonna represent us, you know, conservative.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:12:50unknown: Yeah.
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_00: And so uh which which kind of makes sense, but uh Okay.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_02: So let's go back to Israel.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_02: The the the point Well, we didn't elect these kids.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_00: We elected the Congressman.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_02: The point I'm making is Netanyahu is now pushing for a war.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_02: He is now why he is well, he was pushing for a war, his ideological thinking.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_02: That's the same as these other guys.
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_02: They all they all are saying the same thing.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_02: Uh this is this is what they're saying about the Iran war.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_02: Uh Eisencott is saying uh there's no peace, uh there's only ceasefires, and those ceasefires are to prepare for the next war.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_02: So that's the most liberal guy he's considered the Senate.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_00: Is it to Netanyahu's benefit?
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we tend not to want to change leadership if we're at war.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_00: So do you think Netanyahu wants a war enough so he'll get re-elected?
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_02: Actually, actually, if if a war were to start, he was trying to start a war right now before the elections, before the Israeli elections, which are next week.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_02: He wanted the war to start now.
- 1:13:45SPEAKER_02: And he tried to convince Trump to start a war with him now, and Trump said no.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_02: Why would he want to start a war now?
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_02: Probably to to push back the elections.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_02: You can't have elections if you're in the middle of a big war.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_02: And in the meantime, Netanyahu could say, well, and I'm also at war, therefore I'm the one who's going to save you all.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_02: I'm the big tough guy, so you should vote for me.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_02: So it's both an election campaign and a possibility of pushing back the election itself.
- 1:14:11SPEAKER_02: That's what his plan was.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_02: But right now, the plan is if Netanyahu does get elected again and when Trump's uh midterm is over, that they will go to war again.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_02: Now, I I have serious reservations about our going to war again with Iran.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_02: We've already been at war twice with him.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_02: We had, you know, the twelve-day war where we dropped the bombs.
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_00: Why didn't Trump just go in and get it finished?
- 1:14:35SPEAKER_00: Well You know, you got cancer.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_00: You don't go in and take a little bit of the cancer out.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_00: You go and you take the cancer out.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_02: The the point is that when you try to take the cancer out, you're gonna kill the patient, and the patient is you.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_00: But the young people but the young people who were in Iran, they they really they worship Trump.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_00: They really wanted to come in and set them free.
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_00: These people are oppressed by a dark force.
- 1:14:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:14:59SPEAKER_02: Uh the the Muslim Brotherhood, right?
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_02: The the reality, the reality of of uh what is who wants what in Iran is a black box.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_02: We do not know what the Shah Pavlave's son uh is waiting in the wings saying, Oh, all these people want me to come back and become the new Shah.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_02: That's bogus.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_02: There's another group called MEC, M E K, and they also claim that they have a bunch of people inside Iran who are uh uh interested in uprising against the Ayatollah uh and his crew.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_02: Trevor Burrus, Jr.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_00: Of course, this happens everywhere because let's say I I'm gonna run for the presidency.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_00: Next thing I know, all of you guys say, oh great, we're Ferret.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_00: And I go, man, I got all these people for me.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah, it's about uh, you know, 1% of 1% of 1%, but it seems that you're hanging around, oh, I we can do this.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_00: And they even got me believing I can be the president.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_02: Trevor Burrus, Jr.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_02: And even when they talk about the fact that you know 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 were killed in January, and that's of course numbers that are debatable, but that uprising, the so-called Iranian uprising, and that these people were protesting to overthrow and that they were all killed by this brutal regime.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_02: I'm not convinced that that accurate that number is accurate, but let's assume it is.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_02: That still represents 0.1% of the Iranian population.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_02: A tiny amount of the population.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but it's an 80-90 million.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_02: The point is the point is that's only we're talking about a country of 80 to 90 million people.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_02: You know, we talked about Israel.
- 1:16:33SPEAKER_02: Israel has seven million Jews living in Israel.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_02: We're talking about seven million Jews in Israel versus eighty million.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_00: I wonder how the good Lord's gonna sort all this out, one.
- 1:16:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:16:44SPEAKER_02: So so so my point is that we need to be and we did attack Iran, we dropped bombs, and uh we lost by that by that account, uh, we lost a huge amount of our military bases in the Gulf.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_02: That's not been advertised.
- 1:16:59SPEAKER_02: In fact, uh Mr.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_02: Heggseth has been very uh eager to cover that up, to hide the fact that we lost our base in Al-Uday and uh uh the Bahraini uh facility, the so-called naval base for the Persian Gulf, that's been wiped out.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_02: Uh the deputy uh secretary of of uh uh of the uh defense admitted that our Bahrain facility was totally wiped out by the Iranians.
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_02: Uh we left, by the way, a lot of Americans that was like a big American base.
- 1:17:32SPEAKER_02: American wives and children were living at that base.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_02: When we started that war, we did not evacuate those people.
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_02: Those people were left there as the bombing of their base by the Iranians was going on.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_02: And we did not have adequate air defenses to defend that base.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_02: Uh in fact, one of the admirals, uh her name is Admiral Gray, she said that that was a a uh uh a massive uh uh misconduct or or viol dereliction of duty is the term.
- 1:18:00SPEAKER_02: Massive dereliction of duty not to have protected that base with air defenses before you started a war with Iran.
- 1:18:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, because it would be attacked, and that we knew it would be attacked.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_02: And we left our wives and family members there vulnerable to attack without air defenses.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_02: And that base got decimated.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_02: The barracks for the base they've got satellite video of it.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_02: Hexeth have been trying to hide this stuff, but it's there.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_00: So families were killed, Americans.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_02: Uh I don't know if they were killed, but we did have you know i in there were constant they were endangered, let's put it that way.
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_02: Right now, as as you speak and we speak, uh the US is announcing the evacuation of the US Embassy in uh Saudi Arabia.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_02: That's because we're planning to start an attack.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_00: That's in fact what you do before youran will attack Saudi Arabia again.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_02: Iran will attack Saudi Arabia again.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_02: Because Saudi Arabia has oil.
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_02: And oil and and Saudi Arabia So oil can feed the war.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_02: Well well the idea of Iran is to cut uh oil supplies globally in order to hurt the United States.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_00: You can't do you follow all this stuff, Jeff?
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_00: You understand this?
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it's complicated.
- 1:19:15SPEAKER_02: It is it is it is complicated.
- 1:19:17SPEAKER_02: So anyway, that's part of Iran's uh plan.
- 1:19:19SPEAKER_02: But what I'm saying is that this plan to attack Iran appears to be alive and well and moving forward.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_02: Now we all we exhausted about 50 percent of our anti-missile systems uh in the first two wars.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_02: We fought a 12-day war and then we fought the war in in uh February, March, and we also gave a bunch to Ukraine.
- 1:19:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we did, but not that much.
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_02: What we what we exhausted we have exhausted at least sixty percent of our THADS, that's thermal high altitude missiles, uh that's what shoots down the ballistic missiles at high altitude.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_02: We've exhausted almost 80 percent of our THAAD capacity.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_02: And we have exhausted right now approximately 60 percent, 50 to 60 percent of our Patriot missile.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_00: Uh but the missile companies must love this because now they're coming up saying we need more of these.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_00: Yes, they've got they've got orders.
- 1:20:10SPEAKER_00: Here's a hundred billion dollars, get to work.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they've got orders for them.
- 1:20:13SPEAKER_02: You know how long it takes to build a new one?
- 1:20:14SPEAKER_02: Four years.
- 1:20:15SPEAKER_02: From the time you place an order till the time it's off the assembly line and in your arsenal, it's four years.
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_02: We have a gap.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_02: And we're all we're we've used up half of our Patriots worldwide already.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_02: So we don't have a lot left over.
- 1:20:28SPEAKER_02: Let me just say that.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_02: General Brown was putting a warning on that, and Trump and Heggseth fired him because he was warning about it.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_02: So firing somebody for telling you the bad news does not solve the.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, it's one thing to tell them.
- 1:20:41SPEAKER_00: Did he tell them or did he tell the press first?
- 1:20:44SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_00: Then you're not you're my enemy if you tell the press first.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_00: I'll play Trump.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_00: You're my enemy.
- 1:20:50SPEAKER_00: Now come to me and tell me.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_02: The the point is, we we have a a uh a defense problem against uh missiles and cruise missiles and drones.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_02: We have a massive defense problem.
- 1:21:03SPEAKER_02: And our cost, these things cost four million dollars apiece, these Patriots, when you fire one up there to knock down a$50,000 drone.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_02: And you may need to fire several Patriots to knock down one drone.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_02: You know, so think about the cost.
- 1:21:19SPEAKER_02: And and we're we're so we do not need to start a new war with Iran.
- 1:21:23SPEAKER_02: The new war with Iran is not gonna bring Iran to its knees.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry to say that, but the Iranians are not going to capitulate whatever Donald's dreams.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_02: It's not gonna happen.
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_02: So we are getting ourselves deeper and deeper into the question.
- 1:21:40SPEAKER_02: First of all, Iran happens to have neighbors.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_02: They're next door to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_02: I served in Pakistan.
- 1:21:47SPEAKER_02: Large neighbors with forest borders.
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_02: Uh this is like going into Afghanistan.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_02: We already know what happened there.
- 1:21:55SPEAKER_02: We we have lots of powerful military.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_02: Did we win in Afghanistan?
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 1:22:00SPEAKER_02: The Taliban is still there.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_00: And uh and but uh the last president, what was his name?
- 1:22:06SPEAKER_00: Biden.
- 1:22:07SPEAKER_00: Uh he left all that equipment there.
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_00: Trevor Burrus, Jr.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well that's th that's irrelevant in in a sense.
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_02: It's billions of dollars of equipment.
- 1:22:14SPEAKER_02: It's irrelevant.
- 1:22:15SPEAKER_02: The fact is we lost the war.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_00: We lost the war.
- 1:22:20SPEAKER_02: We we lost the war.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_02: We didn't give it to them.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_02: We abandoned it.
- 1:22:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's not right.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_02: We abandoned it because we lost.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_02: And what I'm saying is can't we learn from that that we don't need to get into another long extended war in the Middle East or or in East.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_00: Well it is good for absolutely nothing.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_00: So I despise millions of innocent lives.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_02: So besides so, besides being short of uh uh air defense systems, which you need when you're fighting a war, uh we're going into a quagmire with 80 million people, a very vast country almost the size of Europe.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_02: Uh it's just a it's it's a ridiculous situation.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_02: And most Americans, 80 percent of Americans, do not want us in that war.
- 1:23:03SPEAKER_02: They think it's a stupid war.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:23:06SPEAKER_02: So do not go back into war, Donald.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_02: And and despite what Netanyahu says, he's saying Netanyahu is saying, well, we have to wipe out Iran.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_02: Well, it it it's not gonna work.
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_02: And and Israel is gonna have to live with Iran.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_02: Uh they're not going to be friends, uh, but they have to, you know, deal Isencod has at least the right approach.
- 1:23:28SPEAKER_02: You have to deal with Israel.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we're out of time.
- 1:23:31SPEAKER_00: So you want to give a summary, anything you want to say?
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_02: Uh pray for peace and keep us out of war.
- 1:23:36SPEAKER_02: That's what I say.
- 1:23:37SPEAKER_02: You can pray for peace forever.
- 1:23:40SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:23:40SPEAKER_00: We'll all pray for peace.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_02: We'll all pray for peace.
- 1:23:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Lord.
- 1:23:43SPEAKER_00: Let there be peace.
- 1:23:44SPEAKER_00: We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel and also Ukraine and uh just save uh especially the children everywhere.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_00: Say them.
- 1:23:53SPEAKER_00: Jesus' name we pray.
