Hillary Clinton And The Transcript From Her Epstein Related Talk With Congress (Part 8) (9/16/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode we're picking up where we
• 0:06
Speaker 1: left off with the Hillary Clinton transcript from her trip
• 0:09
Speaker 1: to Congress. Question. I know the public wants names to
• 0:14
Speaker 1: be named and I know this is a difficult question
• 0:17
Speaker 1: for you given your lack of a relationship with Epstein
• 0:20
Speaker 1: or Maxwell. But are there any names you think we
• 0:23
Speaker 1: should be talking to at this point that haven't been
• 0:26
Speaker 1: out there already? Answer. Answer. I don't know any more
• 0:29
Speaker 1: than you do as to what's being exposed in the files.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: I saw where Congressman Massey stood on the floor the
• 0:35
Speaker 1: other day and said that he named three people. As
• 0:37
Speaker 1: I recall, that should be investigated. But there's a long
• 0:40
Speaker 1: list of people who, even if they did not do
• 0:43
Speaker 1: something themselves wrong because of their association with Epstein, might
• 0:47
Speaker 1: have credible information for your committee. Question and final question.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: You've expressed a desire for this hearing to be public.
• 0:54
Speaker 1: I'd just love to hear sort of an explanation as
• 0:56
Speaker 1: to why. Answer, yeah, look, I think sunlight is the
• 0:59
Speaker 1: best disinfectant. I think as much as we can do
• 1:02
Speaker 1: in public, we should do. And I've testified before Congress
• 1:06
Speaker 1: many times before you were there, and it's always in public.
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: I mean, that's what we did. I testified, and I
• 1:12
Speaker 1: was on the other side of the table asking questions
• 1:14
Speaker 1: in public. Except for something that was classified that couldn't
• 1:18
Speaker 1: be public. What we did was in the sunlight in
• 1:21
Speaker 1: front of the press because people, namely our constituents, deserve
• 1:25
Speaker 1: to know what we were finding out, to go along
• 1:28
Speaker 1: with us, with a few exceptions, to understand what Congress
• 1:31
Speaker 1: is doing. So I believe for a long time, I
• 1:34
Speaker 1: think we should be testifying in public, and I think
• 1:36
Speaker 1: it would benefit this committee for people to see that
• 1:39
Speaker 1: you're actually doing things, and especially if you call people
• 1:42
Speaker 1: who have some credible information for you, that you are committed,
• 1:45
Speaker 1: regardless of the cover-up in the Justice Department or whatever
• 1:48
Speaker 1: direction the DOJ is getting from the White House, you
• 1:51
Speaker 1: are determined to find out the truth. Question, thank you.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: Next person up. Asking questions again. Another congressman. Doesn't say
• 2:00
Speaker 1: a name. Question. Secretary, how are you? Answer. I'm okay. Question.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: First and foremost, thank you for being here. Question. Thank you.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: Or answer. Thank you. Question. Secondly, as an attorney, I
• 2:13
Speaker 1: know sometimes things are done differently in D.C., but when
• 2:16
Speaker 1: an agreement is made and our word is given, it
• 2:19
Speaker 1: should be kept. Answer. I agree with that. question, and
• 2:23
Speaker 1: first and foremost, to get into the line of questioning
• 2:25
Speaker 1: that I had, on November 12th of last year, Oversight
• 2:28
Speaker 1: Committee Democrats released emails that were obtained from the estate
• 2:31
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. In one email from 2011, Epstein said
• 2:36
Speaker 1: to Glenn Maxwell that President Trump was, quote, the dog
• 2:39
Speaker 1: that hasn't barked, and that an unnamed victim spent hours
• 2:42
Speaker 1: at my house with him. In another email from 2019,
• 2:45
Speaker 1: Epstein wrote that, of course, he's referring to President Trump,
• 2:49
Speaker 1: and that he knew about the girls as he asked
• 2:51
Speaker 1: Glenn to stop. Two days later, President Trump directed Attorney
• 2:55
Speaker 1: General Pam Bondi to investigate President Clinton and other prominent
• 2:59
Speaker 1: Democrats in order to distract from his own close ties
• 3:02
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein. I'll mark his minority exhibit B, a
• 3:05
Speaker 1: truth social post from Donald Trump, dated November 14th, 2025,
• 3:10
Speaker 1: and I think you have that now. As you can see,
• 3:13
Speaker 1: President Trump's post refers to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes against young
• 3:16
Speaker 1: girls and women as the Epstein hoax. His post also
• 3:20
Speaker 1: completely ignores several other high-profile individuals, including Republicans and allies
• 3:25
Speaker 1: of President Trump, who are known to have had relationships
• 3:28
Speaker 1: with Epstein. In fact, the Epstein files contain numerous officials
• 3:33
Speaker 1: in the current and previous Trump administrations who have had
• 3:36
Speaker 1: connections to Jeffrey Epstein, including, but I'm sure not limited to,
• 3:41
Speaker 1: Howard Lutnick, RFK Jr., Steve Bannon, Elon Musk, Tom Barack,
• 3:45
Speaker 1: Kevin Warsh, and Mehmet Oz, to name a few. Secretary Clinton,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: to your knowledge, has the Trump administration done anything at
• 3:53
Speaker 1: all to investigate these other individuals with ties to Epstein. Yo,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: what is this person even doing right now? That's how
• 4:00
Speaker 1: you're spending your time asking your questions? This is about
• 4:03
Speaker 1: the Clintons. And when you want to talk about political theater, folks,
• 4:06
Speaker 1: here it is once again. Congressman, I know nothing. Just
• 4:11
Speaker 1: reading the press. I obviously have no inside information. that
• 4:14
Speaker 1: there has been any effort whatsoever to investigate the names
• 4:17
Speaker 1: that you just mentioned or any others who might have
• 4:20
Speaker 1: credible information about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. And I think that's
• 4:24
Speaker 1: where this committee comes in. You're not beholden to the
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Justice Department. You have an independent Article 1 jurisdiction. You
• 4:31
Speaker 1: are the co-equal branch of government and you have the
• 4:33
Speaker 1: responsibility to pursue what the Justice Department apparently is failing
• 4:37
Speaker 1: to pursue. The other point I would make is having
• 4:40
Speaker 1: observed President Trump up close and personal for a number
• 4:43
Speaker 1: of years now, since I ran against him, he has
• 4:45
Speaker 1: a tell. He has a behavioral tell. Whenever he's worried
• 4:49
Speaker 1: about being found out himself, he accuses somebody else of
• 4:51
Speaker 1: doing what he's actually doing. And it's just a pattern
• 4:55
Speaker 1: with him. So it's no surprise to me that all
• 4:57
Speaker 1: of a sudden, what he promised in his campaign to
• 5:00
Speaker 1: reveal everything about the files, and then when his people
• 5:03
Speaker 1: began looking in the files and realizing how potentially incriminating
• 5:07
Speaker 1: they were of him, All of a sudden, that was
• 5:10
Speaker 1: no longer the focus. It was blaming Democrats, talking about
• 5:13
Speaker 1: a hoax, saying move on. There is nothing to see here.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: That's a typical pattern of President Trump's behavior, which speaks
• 5:20
Speaker 1: louder than all the words that he speaks and all
• 5:23
Speaker 1: of the true social posts that he makes. He clearly
• 5:26
Speaker 1: knows what he did. He knows what others did because remember,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: one of the emails that has come out recently is
• 5:32
Speaker 1: he called the police chief of Palm Beach at the
• 5:34
Speaker 1: time Epstein was arrested, according to the reporting to say,
• 5:37
Speaker 1: I'm so glad you got him. I'm so glad you're
• 5:39
Speaker 1: stopping him. Well, how would he know that? How would
• 5:42
Speaker 1: he know that? So there is so much to be
• 5:44
Speaker 1: uncovered there rather than being covered up. And it really,
• 5:48
Speaker 1: in addition to the specific information that could be gotten
• 5:51
Speaker 1: and accountability that could be achieved, it would restore trust.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: The American people are not done. They're watching this. They're
• 5:58
Speaker 1: seeing this. They're following this. And it's just one more
• 6:01
Speaker 1: example of us not doing the kind of work that
• 6:04
Speaker 1: would build trust in finding out the truth, not just
• 6:06
Speaker 1: for the victims and survivors, but for the American public. Question,
• 6:11
Speaker 1: I just have a couple quick follow-up questions. Howard Lutnick
• 6:15
Speaker 1: recently went so far as to lie about his close
• 6:17
Speaker 1: connection with Jeffrey Epstein, but the truth came out with
• 6:20
Speaker 1: the release of the files. Secretary Clinton, is Howard Lutnick
• 6:24
Speaker 1: still employed as Secretary of Commerce in the Trump administration? Answer,
• 6:28
Speaker 1: as far as I know, no. Question, Secretary Clinton. In
• 6:31
Speaker 1: your opinion, why has Donald Trump ignored these other prominent
• 6:34
Speaker 1: figures who had close ties to Epstein? Answer, I can't
• 6:38
Speaker 1: speculate on that, Congressman. I think it's a worthwhile question
• 6:41
Speaker 1: to ask, and I think it certainly should be asked
• 6:43
Speaker 1: by this committee. Question, and lastly, in light of everything,
• 6:47
Speaker 1: not just what I think was an embarrassing leak earlier,
• 6:49
Speaker 1: do you believe your deposition today is a good faith exercise? Answer,
• 6:54
Speaker 1: I can't conclude that. I think all the information, such
• 6:57
Speaker 1: as it is, that I could have been delivered and
• 6:59
Speaker 1: a sworn statement could have been delivered. So I'm not
• 7:02
Speaker 1: going to speculate about the committee's intentions here, but a
• 7:05
Speaker 1: former member of this committee, someone with whom I doubt
• 7:08
Speaker 1: I have very much in common, Marjorie Taylor Greene, said
• 7:11
Speaker 1: that Trump put pressure on Bondi not to release all
• 7:13
Speaker 1: the files. And if I recall, she was one of
• 7:16
Speaker 1: the votes for the Transparency Act. And she and others,
• 7:19
Speaker 1: including other members of this committee, were hauled into the
• 7:22
Speaker 1: White House and taken to the woodshed. and so I
• 7:25
Speaker 1: believe she may be a source of information about her
• 7:28
Speaker 1: own experience demonstrating clearly what this White House does, not
• 7:32
Speaker 1: want the Justice Department to release the files that might
• 7:35
Speaker 1: in any way incriminate President Trump. Question, thank you, Madam Secretary.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: Now the next person up, no name again. Thank you
• 7:43
Speaker 1: so much for being here, Madam Secretary. Some of this
• 7:46
Speaker 1: was briefly touched upon, but as you know, There's wide
• 7:49
Speaker 1: speculation among the public that Jeffrey Epstein may have been
• 7:51
Speaker 1: affiliated with domestic intelligence agencies and services. Alex Acosta, for example.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: Secretary of Labor and the first Trump administration allegedly said
• 8:02
Speaker 1: that Epstein belonged to intelligence. We know that Acosta has
• 8:05
Speaker 1: denied the statement, but it nonetheless raises questions about Epstein.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: You obviously served in a variety of high-sensitive positions, allowing
• 8:13
Speaker 1: you to access some of our nation's most sensitive and
• 8:16
Speaker 1: secretive information. either during or after your time in government?
• 8:21
Speaker 1: Were you ever made aware of Jeffrey Epstein having any
• 8:23
Speaker 1: kind of relationship directly or indirectly with the United States
• 8:26
Speaker 1: Intelligence Agency or services like the CIA? Answer, I was not,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: but obviously I served in the Senate and I don't
• 8:34
Speaker 1: recall anything like that ever being presented. I was on
• 8:37
Speaker 1: the Armed Services Committee, so perhaps there might have been
• 8:40
Speaker 1: a mention if there was any relevance. And in the
• 8:43
Speaker 1: State Department, I don't recall any information like that at all. Question,
• 8:47
Speaker 1: and were you ever made aware of Glenn Maxwell having
• 8:49
Speaker 1: any kind of relationship with an intelligence agency or service
• 8:53
Speaker 1: in the United States? Answer, I was not. Question, thank you. Now,
• 8:57
Speaker 1: during the committee's deposition of former Attorney General Bill Barr,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: he indicated that many American businessmen who have foreign contacts
• 9:04
Speaker 1: sometimes will talk to intelligence agencies and provide information to them.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: Are you aware of Jeffrey Epstein having these less formal
• 9:12
Speaker 1: interactions with the CEI or any other domestic intelligence? Answer,
• 9:17
Speaker 1: I'm not aware of any intelligence connection of Jeffrey Epstein
• 9:20
Speaker 1: at all. Question, and that applies to foreign intelligence as well? Answer,
• 9:24
Speaker 1: yes it does. But I do think, Congresswoman, as I
• 9:27
Speaker 1: said earlier, your questions are well taken. There are so
• 9:30
Speaker 1: many threads of this investigation that need to be followed.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: You are talking about the intelligence, we have talked about
• 9:36
Speaker 1: the sexual abuses, and we should also be following the money.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: One of my former colleagues, Senator Wyden, is trying to
• 9:43
Speaker 1: get out of the Treasury Department records about Jeffrey Epstein's
• 9:46
Speaker 1: financial transactions. The Congress should, and this committee certainly should,
• 9:51
Speaker 1: subpoena the Treasury Secretary for the information that Senator Wyden
• 9:55
Speaker 1: has compiled. In my experience in the Senate, Senator Wyden
• 9:59
Speaker 1: is a thoughtful commissar. investigator. If he says that there's
• 10:02
Speaker 1: something there, I would take it to the bank, and
• 10:04
Speaker 1: so follow the money. Follow these foreign involvement intelligence potentials.
• 10:09
Speaker 1: Whether they're true or not, I don't know. And of course,
• 10:12
Speaker 1: follow whatever leads you can get out of the emails
• 10:14
Speaker 1: and other information that are being put forth by either
• 10:17
Speaker 1: DOJ or the Epstein estate, or anybody else, on the
• 10:21
Speaker 1: crimes that he committed. Question, thank you. That brings us
• 10:25
Speaker 1: to the issue of transparency, which is related to what
• 10:27
Speaker 1: you just said. You and President Clinton have been very
• 10:31
Speaker 1: clear about your desire to testify publicly before this committee.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: In fact, on February 5th, 2026, you posted on social media,
• 10:39
Speaker 1: if you want this fight, at Representative James Comer, let's
• 10:42
Speaker 1: have it in public. You love to talk about transparency.
• 10:46
Speaker 1: There is nothing more transparent than a public hearing with
• 10:48
Speaker 1: cameras on. Secretary Clinton, why is it important for you
• 10:51
Speaker 1: to testify before this committee in a public setting? Well,
• 10:55
Speaker 1: first of all, I believe in public testimony. I believe
• 10:58
Speaker 1: that the public has a right to know what its
• 11:00
Speaker 1: elected members of Congress are investigating and legislating. Having served
• 11:04
Speaker 1: for eight years, I think it's useful as a member
• 11:06
Speaker 1: to do a hearing in public because you're going to
• 11:09
Speaker 1: learn things by the coverage of it, by the response
• 11:11
Speaker 1: that you get from people. This hearing, if it were
• 11:14
Speaker 1: in public, maybe somebody, your questions about intelligence, Maybe somebody
• 11:18
Speaker 1: watching it would have said, oh my gosh, I just
• 11:20
Speaker 1: remembered having a conversation with Foreign Minister X or Prime
• 11:24
Speaker 1: Minister Y, and that person mentioned Jeffrey Epstein. Most people
• 11:27
Speaker 1: are not going to look at the video, they're going
• 11:29
Speaker 1: to read the transcript, but they will follow a live
• 11:31
Speaker 1: public hearing, so I think it actually enhances the work
• 11:34
Speaker 1: that those of us who have been privileged to serve
• 11:37
Speaker 1: are doing and can do. So to me, it's just
• 11:40
Speaker 1: an absolute prerequisite for doing any kind of legislative and
• 11:43
Speaker 1: investigative work as effectively as possible by doing it in public. Question,
• 11:49
Speaker 1: and did you know that the photograph would be photographed today? Answer, no. Question,
• 11:54
Speaker 1: and is that all part of what you understood about
• 11:56
Speaker 1: the terms of that agreement for today? Answer, well, I
• 11:59
Speaker 1: confess that I had some concerns about whether the majority
• 12:02
Speaker 1: on the committee would treat me fairly and would fairly
• 12:05
Speaker 1: convey what I say and what I did and how
• 12:08
Speaker 1: I looked and how I responded. So yeah, I had
• 12:10
Speaker 1: a concern. And when we learned about the photo being taken,
• 12:13
Speaker 1: not by a staff member, but by a member, it
• 12:16
Speaker 1: was shocking and very disappointing. So if it were in public,
• 12:19
Speaker 1: we wouldn't have that debate. Everybody could see the same
• 12:22
Speaker 1: thing that the congresswoman saw. I'm sitting there here. Sometimes
• 12:26
Speaker 1: I'm smiling. Sometimes I'm frowning. Sometimes I look good. Sometimes
• 12:29
Speaker 1: I don't. That's all in public. Everybody can have the
• 12:32
Speaker 1: same view rather than an angled photo and all the
• 12:35
Speaker 1: rest of it. So it was disappointing. And I regret
• 12:37
Speaker 1: that it happened and violated your rules. but that's not
• 12:40
Speaker 1: the real concern I have. The real concern is get busy.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: Focus on the people that have something to tell you,
• 12:46
Speaker 1: that can tell you about intelligence, money, crimes, and get
• 12:49
Speaker 1: them before you, and whenever possible, do it in public.
• 12:53
Speaker 1: Alright folks, we're going to wrap up right there, and
• 12:54
Speaker 1: in the next episode dealing with the topic we're going
• 12:56
Speaker 1: to pick up where we left off. All the information
• 12:59
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: description box.
