- 0:00Speaker 1: Football and four powered by the Inside the Birds podcast.
- 0:02Speaker 1: It's brought to you by the Fanatic sportsbook at Ocean
- 0:05Speaker 1: Casino Resort in Atlantic City, and of course Football at
- 0:09Speaker 1: four is powered by the Inside the Birds podcast, which
- 0:13Speaker 1: you can get on all podcasting platforms. Jeff Moscher, we
- 0:17Speaker 1: have a Mosher mail bag addition, as we do in
- 0:20Speaker 1: the summertime when the liveing's easy. By the way, somebody
- 0:23Speaker 1: texts it.
- 0:24Speaker 2: In an A and W root That's a good call.
- 0:27Speaker 1: An A and W root beer probably higher on the
- 0:31Speaker 1: list than barks and I would probably even say it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: higher on the list than the mug. I've had an
- 0:38Speaker 1: A INW mug and barks. I don't know that I've
- 0:41Speaker 1: been all that down the road, but somebody texted in
- 0:43Speaker 1: and said that I actually blew their mind that I
- 0:46Speaker 1: don't remember if I've ever had a root beer float.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher's in the house for today's Football at four.
- 0:51Speaker 1: What's up, mosh Man.
- 0:55Speaker 2: A and W was like my childhood. I remember an
- 0:57Speaker 2: W Rootier.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I know, see I don't. I used to drink Rootier
- 1:01Speaker 1: like when I was a kid, But I can't remember
- 1:03Speaker 1: the last time I walked into a place and said,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I'll take the Rootier.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'm just not a Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree
- 1:09Speaker 2: with you. It's been a while.
- 1:10Speaker 3: That's almost like when you're a kid, you like root
- 1:11Speaker 3: Pier and those Rootier candies. Remember those little round candies
- 1:15Speaker 3: that would taste like they were fantastic.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yes, somehow.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Oh, they were talking about it door unsportsman like, and
- 1:21Speaker 1: they were talking about how the Rootier float is an
- 1:24Speaker 1: a plus, and I said, I can't remember if I've
- 1:27Speaker 1: even ever had a Rootier flot, Like, if I'm going
- 1:29Speaker 1: to get ice cream, I'm not wasting it on a
- 1:32Speaker 1: Rootier float.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I mean I've had Rootier floats. I would say I
- 1:36Speaker 3: like them, but I would rather have a Sunday than
- 1:38Speaker 3: a float.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I agree. I agree with you on that one.
- 1:40Speaker 1: All right, most show, obviously we get to the summer portion.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We have emotioner mail bag people texting in and emailing
- 1:48Speaker 1: in some questions for Jeff and the crew over it.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Inside the Birds we'll get into uh some of that.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I wanted to get your thoughts on the recent uh
- 1:57Speaker 1: Jalen hurt stuff in the middle of the summer that
- 1:59Speaker 1: seems to come out. Now are we to make the
- 2:03Speaker 1: one question I had on this. Are we to make
- 2:05Speaker 1: that the Jalen Hurts camp is not happy that his
- 2:10Speaker 1: teammates didn't stick up for him, or that the team itself,
- 2:14Speaker 1: the organization has in fact him enough? Well, how did
- 2:17Speaker 1: what did you make of Joe Santel Laquita's piece.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I gotta be honest with you. I did not read it.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I apologize for that. It's tough to keep up with everything.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I mean, I know what's out there. I know it's
- 2:28Speaker 2: the reported so.
- 2:31Speaker 3: And I know athletes have a certain way of getting
- 2:35Speaker 3: something out there, and so do teams right without having
- 2:38Speaker 3: it try to trace back to them. And I'm not
- 2:41Speaker 3: saying that's definitely what happened in this situation. So I
- 2:44Speaker 3: think that you know, it's it's it's tough to go
- 2:47Speaker 3: inside the mind of what someone's thinking.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I'll give you my interpretation.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I felt like when the original ESPN dot com story
- 2:55Speaker 3: came out about Jalen Hurts, which I talked to you about.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I didn't feel like that was a hit piece.
- 3:01Speaker 3: People things that went wrong offensively to year and some
- 3:08Speaker 3: of the things that go on with coaching and playing
- 3:11Speaker 3: and the interactions right, I didn't think it was a
- 3:13Speaker 3: hip piece but when Howie Roseman was about it, I
- 3:17Speaker 3: felt like his answer was more and I think we
- 3:21Speaker 3: had this conversation too. His answer seemed to be more about, hey,
- 3:25Speaker 3: that didn't come from us than it was about, hey,
- 3:28Speaker 3: people shouldn't write that about our quarterback.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And I thought, you know, it almost like he didn't
- 3:33Speaker 2: answer the question.
- 3:34Speaker 3: So if there was an interpretation from Hurtz's people that
- 3:39Speaker 3: whoever those people are, you know, it could be an agent,
- 3:41Speaker 3: could be a friend.
- 3:42Speaker 2: That's the thing. I don't try to guess people's sources.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But if there was an interpretation that how we sort
- 3:47Speaker 3: of didn't really stick up for him the way the
- 3:50Speaker 3: organization reacted when the same thing happened to Carson Wentz,
- 3:53Speaker 3: and then they had Wentz days later did a press
- 3:56Speaker 3: conference with a couple of reporters to clear the air,
- 4:00Speaker 3: and you know it, certainly they have reacted to that
- 4:03Speaker 3: the this ESPN dot Com story differently than they did
- 4:07Speaker 3: from the Wentz one, But it's also a different we're
- 4:10Speaker 3: talking about years later.
- 4:12Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, I mean that was the one thing
- 4:13Speaker 1: that I was trying to wrap my head around because well, obviously,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I think the the interesting part about the story is
- 4:19Speaker 1: Joe who obviously is not a beat guy. He's not
- 4:21Speaker 1: there every day. He got torched for the Wentz piece.
- 4:25Speaker 1: We really haven't heard anything from him since the Wentz piece,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and then this one randomly dropped in the middle of
- 4:31Speaker 1: the Not to this level though, right, not to this
- 4:35Speaker 1: profile where you're talking about that.
- 4:37Speaker 2: No, no, no, not to this level of course. Not yeah, no, no.
- 4:40Speaker 3: He's had some other kind of stories on the team
- 4:43Speaker 3: and some of the behind the scenes stuff. But yeah, Joe,
- 4:46Speaker 3: you know, Joe's kind of known for for producing these
- 4:49Speaker 3: kind of stories where he gets behind the scenes a
- 4:51Speaker 3: little bit.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But that's where this is where where where he writes
- 4:55Speaker 1: the Wentz piece. It was like, where are you coming
- 4:57Speaker 1: from from? The people? I think? People I know Joe
- 5:01Speaker 1: know that he's a very very intrepid guy, and it's
- 5:05Speaker 1: just weird that the last time we heard a story
- 5:07Speaker 1: from him of this magnitude comes seven years later. It's like,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw this and then it forced people to
- 5:14Speaker 1: now say, who's this guy? Well, you know, people who
- 5:18Speaker 1: know Joe would say, this guy's very credible. And that's
- 5:21Speaker 1: why the story I find is to be interesting if
- 5:23Speaker 1: the timing and what it's about.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know, like you said, there was a
- 5:31Speaker 3: lot of doubt about.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Carson Wentz. A lot of people didn't want to accept it.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And I would like to think this time around people, well,
- 5:42Speaker 3: you know, think that reporters, not just Joe, but anybody
- 5:46Speaker 3: who's reporting stuff that they don't want to hear doesn't
- 5:49Speaker 3: mean it's not true. We deal with that on inside
- 5:51Speaker 3: the Birds like constantly. You know, it's there just some
- 5:55Speaker 3: things that people don't want to believe.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And I get it.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I think being part of a fan is when your
- 5:59Speaker 3: team goes to two Super Bowls, wins one of them
- 6:03Speaker 3: in a three year spand makes Playoff five years, you
- 6:05Speaker 3: don't want to be hearing that this There are flaws
- 6:09Speaker 3: beneath the surface or things like that.
- 6:10Speaker 2: That's part of being a fan. I understand that.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I just asked that they understand that the job is
- 6:14Speaker 3: to report all of the news, not just the news
- 6:16Speaker 3: that they like to hear.
- 6:18Speaker 1: All Right, Mosh, we got a bunch of mail bag
- 6:20Speaker 1: questions to start the summer off. The Summer of Mosher
- 6:23Speaker 1: mailbag starts with Marcus in Ocean City. That's the with
- 6:27Speaker 1: aj Brown and he says, hey, Jeff love the show.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Number one. He says, Now that we'll be heading into
- 6:32Speaker 1: training camp with Devonte Smith as the clear number one,
- 6:37Speaker 1: what is the actual plan for wide receiver number two?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Between Lemon, Wicks Brown, who do you see as the
- 6:45Speaker 1: main option across from Smith.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a really good question. Is that Monday Marcus
- 6:54Speaker 2: by the way, or is this a.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Different could be it could be, just says Marcus and
- 6:58Speaker 1: Ocean City.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Sorry, just wondering.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I remember Monday Marcus from our earlier shows.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Earlier he did.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Nice, nice, Okay. I would think it's a little too
- 7:16Speaker 3: early to tell. I mean, clearly, DeVante Smith's the number one,
- 7:19Speaker 3: He's gonna get a He's inn for a monster year
- 7:21Speaker 3: of targets, receptions, things like that. But you have to
- 7:24Speaker 3: remember that with this offense, you're going to see a
- 7:27Speaker 3: mix of eleven personnel and twelve personnel. So there's probably
- 7:30Speaker 3: gonna and maybe even thirteen personnel. I mean, I think
- 7:34Speaker 3: that there's gonna be a little bit of a copycat
- 7:36Speaker 3: of what the Rams did last year with their three
- 7:39Speaker 3: tight ends on the.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Let me see different. So it's being used situationally.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Outside of Devonte Smith, Lemon will be a slot receiver
- 7:52Speaker 3: a lot of times in eleven personnel one of three
- 7:54Speaker 3: receivers on the field.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Who will be the other outside people you know?
- 8:00Speaker 3: It could be Dontavian Wicks, It could be Marquise Brown,
- 8:03Speaker 3: could depend on down and distance, could depend on situationally,
- 8:07Speaker 3: whether you're in the red.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Zone, high red zone, low red zone.
- 8:10Speaker 3: I mean, both those guys have different traits and different strengths.
- 8:13Speaker 3: But if you're asking me to say who you know,
- 8:16Speaker 3: obviously Devonte Smith will be number one. I would think
- 8:19Speaker 3: Makhai Lemon would wind up by the end of the
- 8:21Speaker 3: year being your second most receptions for a wide receiver.
- 8:25Speaker 3: And I think the organization would love for Wicks to
- 8:27Speaker 3: be three because that means that he came in here
- 8:30Speaker 3: and found a role, carved a little knit doubt, and
- 8:34Speaker 3: became a big part of the offense because he's here
- 8:36Speaker 3: next year too, whereas you've got a one year mercenary
- 8:39Speaker 3: in Hollywood Brown.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Denny from Violent Mosher, what's up man? He says, My
- 8:44Speaker 1: question is about Jalen Hurts and his legs. The last
- 8:47Speaker 1: couple of years, it feels like the staff pulled back
- 8:50Speaker 1: him running and teams stop respecting the RPO. Do you
- 8:54Speaker 1: think Sean Mannion will ask Jalen Hurts or incorporate him
- 8:58Speaker 1: in the run game.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Man, that is a great question.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Without the I would love to have had at least
- 9:05Speaker 3: two training camp practices to see. You know, I don't
- 9:09Speaker 3: know that the quarterback running element is going to be
- 9:12Speaker 3: that big of a weapon, you know. I know that
- 9:15Speaker 3: a lot of people feel like that's where the offense
- 9:17Speaker 3: really regressed last year is because Jalen Hurts did not
- 9:20Speaker 3: want to run. But I mean if you look at
- 9:24Speaker 3: other of these kind of Shanahan style West Coast offices
- 9:27Speaker 3: or McVeigh style West Coast offenses.
- 9:29Speaker 2: You don't see a whole lot of quarterback runs.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Now, not a lot of them have a Jalen Hurts
- 9:35Speaker 3: so but I mean Jordan Love doesn't do a ton
- 9:38Speaker 3: of design runs in the Laflo offense with Green Bay.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Sure every Lawrence doesn't do a ton, He'll do something.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You know. Everybody remembers that run he had against.
- 9:46Speaker 3: The Chiefs to win that game in the fourth quarter.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I think that was not a design run, though I
- 9:51Speaker 3: don't remember.
- 9:52Speaker 2: So it would it surprised me if there are some
- 9:55Speaker 2: design runs. No, I don't. I just don't think it's
- 9:58Speaker 2: going to be like the a central part of the
- 10:01Speaker 2: offense like it once was years ago.
- 10:04Speaker 1: All right, A good question there from Denny over there
- 10:08Speaker 1: in violence go to Sala in Egg Harbor Township. Jeff
- 10:10Speaker 1: helped me out with this one. What are you hearing
- 10:13Speaker 1: about Tank Bigsby? Do you think we will have a
- 10:15Speaker 1: bigger role in the run game this season?
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough really to get intel right now on
- 10:22Speaker 3: certain players when you have a new offense being instilled
- 10:25Speaker 3: and the coaches themselves are trying to fact find.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And see what's best. But as I as I wrote,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and some.
- 10:32Speaker 3: People got carried away with the aggregation, Bigsby is a
- 10:35Speaker 3: really good fit for the kind of wide zone runs
- 10:39Speaker 3: that they're going to implement because he's just a one
- 10:43Speaker 3: cut runner and he had some experience with that last
- 10:45Speaker 3: year in Jacksonville, which also does under Liam Cohen some
- 10:49Speaker 3: wide zone blocking, and I.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Can just see him.
- 10:52Speaker 3: That's his natural style is to make one cut and
- 10:56Speaker 3: get downhill, and being a one cut runner from wide
- 10:59Speaker 3: zone is different than being one cut runner inside zone.
- 11:02Speaker 3: So I think he'll fit the offense well. And I
- 11:05Speaker 3: made the comp like on the podcast with ad him,
- 11:08Speaker 3: you know, but Jehan Robinson.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Had an unbelievable year.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Last year, he had like what twenty three hundred totally
- 11:13Speaker 3: arts from scrimmage and was unbelievable. And yet his backup
- 11:16Speaker 3: Tyler Algier still average about eight touches per game. Last year,
- 11:21Speaker 3: Bigsby averaged about four touches per game. So I believe
- 11:25Speaker 3: there's still an opportunity to have here and still get
- 11:27Speaker 3: the ball to Tank Bigsby a little more.
- 11:30Speaker 1: All Right, this one says Billy's down from Billy down
- 11:34Speaker 1: the shore, So I guess Billy might be living in Philly.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Maybe he's down the shore chiming in.
- 11:38Speaker 2: He wants to know.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Jeff, do you think Roseman has one more trick up
- 11:42Speaker 1: his sleeve before the summer ends, to find a starter
- 11:46Speaker 1: at safety or do they like that room.
- 11:49Speaker 3: No, they have a starting safety, starting safety better than
- 11:52Speaker 3: Cooper to Jean, I mean that's that to me, is
- 11:55Speaker 3: your starting safety. He's gonna be your starter in base downs,
- 11:58Speaker 3: which means on first and second down, when you think
- 12:00Speaker 3: the team's gonna run, he's probably gonna be out there
- 12:03Speaker 3: quite a bit. They're gonna play a lot of teams
- 12:05Speaker 3: this year, like the Rams, like the Jaguars, like the Bears.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Who play multiple tight ends. They live in twelve personnel
- 12:14Speaker 2: or thirteen personnel or whatever. So you will see Cooper
- 12:17Speaker 2: de genet safety quite a bit this year.
- 12:19Speaker 3: And then when they're in nickel, he'll move to nickel
- 12:21Speaker 3: back and hill they'll use a third safety. So there's
- 12:24Speaker 3: no reason to trade for starting safety when what you
- 12:27Speaker 3: really are looking for is a good quality third safety.
- 12:31Speaker 3: But between Marcus EPs and Michael Carter the second they
- 12:36Speaker 3: should probably feel comfortable and if they.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Don't, they'll look for an upgrade there. But that's not
- 12:40Speaker 2: really a starter.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Ike Greg in Atlantic City, he says, Hey, Jeff inside
- 12:47Speaker 1: the Birds has been killing it with the contract series lately.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Good stuff there. Oh yes, he says, you guys were
- 12:53Speaker 1: talking about the challenges of extending some of the young
- 12:55Speaker 1: defensive guys. What do you think about marrow Ojomo entering
- 12:58Speaker 1: his final year of the deal. It's funny we talked
- 13:01Speaker 1: about that with Adam the other day. I said, do
- 13:02Speaker 1: you think, oh Jomo can get a deal similar to
- 13:05Speaker 1: what Milton Williams ended up getting?
- 13:09Speaker 2: And what did Adam say? You forgot? That's okay? I
- 13:14Speaker 2: can I can expand on it.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Well, no, the way that he answered it was was
- 13:18Speaker 1: almost as if it depends on if the playing time
- 13:22Speaker 1: and and what's out there, you know, similar because Williams
- 13:26Speaker 1: that year he ended up getting a lot more playing
- 13:29Speaker 1: time than he had gotten the year before.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Correct, And then Jomo did the same thing last year
- 13:34Speaker 3: than the year before, and he should be as the
- 13:37Speaker 3: the main defensive tackle for when they're in a four
- 13:40Speaker 3: man rush, it's still him and Carter, even though Jordan
- 13:43Speaker 3: Davis gets a little more opportunities now, he should see
- 13:46Speaker 3: fifty five sixty percent of the stabs. And if he
- 13:49Speaker 3: has a big year, especially because he's he's actually as good,
- 13:53Speaker 3: if not even a little better than a natural pass
- 13:56Speaker 3: rusher than Milton Williams. Milton added to his repertoire by
- 14:00Speaker 3: his fourth year and became a really good run defender too,
- 14:03Speaker 3: which Moro.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Not not as good.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I mean, he's not even built like Milwilliams, a little
- 14:07Speaker 3: bit more of a long armed, disruptive pass rusher. But
- 14:09Speaker 3: pass rushers, as we know, get paid, so could and
- 14:13Speaker 3: then it's always unpredictable, like just like we couldn't predict
- 14:16Speaker 3: that the Patriots were going to give Milton Williams twenty
- 14:19Speaker 3: six million dollars a year who knows what next year's
- 14:22Speaker 3: team is willing to spend on a good rusher. But
- 14:25Speaker 3: the point to answer the question, if you're Moro at Jomo,
- 14:30Speaker 3: most likely I can't get inside the guy's head. But
- 14:32Speaker 3: you you saw what Milt Williams got. You saw it
- 14:35Speaker 3: Jayal and Phillips got. You know, you're a good pass
- 14:37Speaker 3: rusher who had six and a half six acts last year,
- 14:40Speaker 3: six and a half something like that cut potential for
- 14:42Speaker 3: that or more like he could really blow it up
- 14:45Speaker 3: on the free agent market next year. So why would
- 14:48Speaker 3: you sign a team friendly deal for like half that,
- 14:51Speaker 3: you know with the Eagles if you really truly, you know,
- 14:55Speaker 3: believe you can be you know, in that echelon next
- 14:58Speaker 3: year in creation and see, yeah, I think it's a
- 15:01Speaker 3: tough ask for more to take whatever the team friendly
- 15:05Speaker 3: offer the ego might make.
- 15:07Speaker 1: All right, great, good question. This one doesn't have a
- 15:10Speaker 1: name on it, so from no name man, But it's
- 15:12Speaker 1: a good question, so I'll let it slide.
- 15:14Speaker 2: He said.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Jonathan Grenard is here. Now do you look at a
- 15:17Speaker 1: Nolan Smith versus Jalx Hunt. Uh, Basically, the winner of
- 15:21Speaker 1: the stays here, the other guy is not here.
- 15:24Speaker 3: In the future, yeah, I mean I think that there
- 15:28Speaker 3: that's a somewhat simplistic but fair assessment of it.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I Jalx Hunt is a homegrown I mean they're both
- 15:35Speaker 2: homegrown draft picks.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Jalleax Hunt had an unbelievable second year last year, whereas
- 15:40Speaker 3: once again Nolan Smith battled some injuries. He's he's better
- 15:44Speaker 3: a run defender than Jalx Hunt is. But let's see
- 15:47Speaker 3: how Jalox Hunt comes back here and in year three and.
- 15:50Speaker 2: What he's able to do.
- 15:51Speaker 3: But for sure, I would think if if, if all
- 15:56Speaker 3: things are equal.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Jelex Hunt is the guy that they would want.
- 15:59Speaker 3: To pin their hopes too, because he's still versatile and
- 16:03Speaker 3: because you still have a chance to give him an
- 16:05Speaker 3: extension next year.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Three years in. We'll see what that is. Nolan Smith,
- 16:10Speaker 2: I mean, the health is an issue.
- 16:12Speaker 3: He just had the arrest. He's now gonna be in
- 16:14Speaker 3: year four. I think he's a little bit more of
- 16:16Speaker 3: a proved guy. Otherwise he becomes maybe trade candidate.
- 16:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll fit in one more from Mike and
- 16:23Speaker 1: Summer's point about the Jalen Hurts contract situation. He says,
- 16:28Speaker 1: if Jalen goes out absorbed to new offense and has
- 16:31Speaker 1: a big season, do you think he even wants to
- 16:34Speaker 1: stay and sign an extension here in Philadelphia?
- 16:39Speaker 3: I'm sorry, If Jalen Hurts has a great year, does
- 16:42Speaker 3: he want to sign an extension in Philadelphia?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Is that what the question is? Yeah? I would think so.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I would think of the Eagles put a content.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Remember it's not like he's a free agent, so the
- 16:53Speaker 3: only team that can offer him a lot of money
- 16:55Speaker 3: next year are the Eagles or a team.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's going to trade for him and offer him a
- 16:59Speaker 2: lot of money.
- 16:59Speaker 3: But you know, if the Eagles put a contract in
- 17:02Speaker 3: front of him and now it's sixty five million a year,
- 17:05Speaker 3: whatever the number is for the next five years, what's
- 17:08Speaker 3: he gonna do?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Say?
- 17:09Speaker 3: No, I mean, is he gonna say, I don't like
- 17:12Speaker 3: the people criticize me in the media. I'm gonna try
- 17:15Speaker 3: to do this a ken for two more years until
- 17:17Speaker 3: my contract runs out and then hit it big in
- 17:19Speaker 3: free agents. Now people don't do that, So I think
- 17:21Speaker 3: he'll do. I think he'll be just fine taking that money,
- 17:24Speaker 3: all right.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Mike in Summer's point, good question, Mosher said, Nope, don't
- 17:28Speaker 1: worry about it. He will sign back here if it
- 17:31Speaker 1: in fact gets offered to him to stay in Philadelphia.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We'll see, and we did talk about throwing the contract series.
- 17:37Speaker 1: This could be the last year of Saquon Barkley in
- 17:39Speaker 1: Philadelphia too. I mean, he doesn't really have much on
- 17:42Speaker 1: the contract after this, so a lot of interesting stuff
- 17:45Speaker 1: in the future. Our Mosher mail Bag Monday will be back,
- 17:49Speaker 1: and of course Jeff Moscher and the Inside the Birds
- 17:51Speaker 1: crew here for football at four on the Sports Bash.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Good questions to start off the summertime. We'll do it
- 17:57Speaker 1: again with you next week.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Man, good, Mike, have a good one.
