- 0:01It is a quite natural, impulse, an individual has an
- 0:05extraordinary unusual and in some cases inexplicable
- 0:10experience outside of his normal realm of experiences.
- 0:16Either through vital enthusiasm, a feeling of ego aggrandizement
- 0:21due to the extraordinary nature of the experience or through a
- 0:26sense of fear or concern about what the experience is and what
- 0:30significance it has, he wants to communicate it to others.
- 0:36There is a very strong ego driver that can motivate this
- 0:39need to describe explain and otherwise take credit for having
- 0:45had the experience. The individual is also
- 0:48frequently being encouraged by others to talk about it.
- 0:52And there is a type of vital and emotional validation that can
- 0:57accompany a discussion about an experience.
- 1:01The Seeker who does this however, often finds that the
- 1:04inner power that was acting seems to have dissipated or
- 1:07withdrawn at that time. There's a mechanism at work
- 1:11here. The spiritual Force Works in,
- 1:15its native element, and is most effective when it is not being
- 1:19watered down through interpretation transcription or
- 1:23some kind of mental process, One can almost see it as a high
- 1:28power electrical line going through a Step Down Transformer.
- 1:32In this case, the mind and the emotional vital relation of the
- 1:36event means that it has been filtered, analyzed and otherwise
- 1:42subjected to the mines process, it moves the experience from a
- 1:47spiritual energy, into a mental memory or explanation.
- 1:52In. So, doing the Seeker, has
- 1:55short-circuited the action of the force.
- 1:59SRI aurobindo notes quote, the usual rule given by Yogi's is
- 2:05that one should not speak of one's experience to others.
- 2:08Except of course the guru while the sodden is going on because
- 2:13it wastes The Experience there is what they call Chaya of the
- 2:18te pasa. It is only long past experiences
- 2:22that they speak of and even that not to freely the light left.
- 2:29Because you spoke of it to someone who was not an addict re
- 2:33it is safe, if not to speak of these experiences except to a
- 2:37guru or to one who can help you the passing away of an
- 2:42experience. As soon as it is, spoken of is a
- 2:44frequent happening. And for that reason, many Yogi's
- 2:48make it a rule, never to speak of what happens within them.
- 2:53Unless it is a thing of the past or a settled realization.
