The Mysterious Deaths Of Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler
In the early hours of New Year’s Day, 1963, the body of a man and woman were discovered on the banks of Lane Cove River in Sydney. They were half naked and arranged bizarrely a few metres apart, but there was no obvious sign of injury. The pair were quickly identified as Dr Gilbert Bogle and Mrs Margaret Chandler, and while their deaths became front page news for years to come their cause of death remained a mystery for decades.
