This past weekend, Ukraine fired over 1 ,000
• 0:11
drones towards Russia, including hundreds aimed
• 0:13
at Moscow itself. According to Russian sources,
• 0:16
this was the largest ever drone strike against
• 0:18
Moscow, which included damage to the Moscow oil
• 0:21
refinery. Kiev is aiming to make the Russian
• 0:25
public feel the war's consequences and pressure
• 0:27
Russian President Vladimir Putin into negotiating
• 0:30
a peace settlement. Putin has so far shown no
• 0:33
signs he intends to stop the invasion. According
• 0:37
to Santa Cruz Local, a fire at a battery facility
• 0:40
at the Moss Landing Power Plant has reignited.
• 0:43
The fire on the north side of the building is
• 0:45
in the same location as the fire that had burned
• 0:47
in January of 2025. The building contains lithium
• 0:51
batteries, which react explosively to water.
• 0:54
Fire personnel have said they cannot do much
• 0:57
to suppress the fire and must let it burn itself
• 0:59
out, which they hope it does within 24 hours.
• 1:02
The previous fire saw plumes of smoke emitting
• 1:05
from the facility, which caused evacuations,
• 1:07
though officials stated the level of exposure
• 1:09
was not a risk to human health. And a report
• 1:14
by Oregon Public Broadcasting states that 111
• 1:16
data centers consume one quarter of the state's
• 1:19
power. The data centers employ over 2 ,600 people
• 1:23
within the state, and there are 32 more facilities
• 1:26
planned for construction. However, report authors
• 1:29
  found inconsistent, incomplete, or unavailable
• 1:32
data sources for water use and other information
• 1:35
necessary to analyze the effect of the facilities
• 1:38
on landscapes and communities around them. That
