- 10:14Speaker 1: She like Earnie Actress that one time.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Well, yeah, for a little bit like after uh Sister Acts,
- 10:20Speaker 3: wasn't her salary skyrocketed? Yes, your sister was Sister act one.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I like a big hit. She got like twenty million
- 10:30Speaker 1: for that.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Nah. It was like when she when she had a
- 10:33Speaker 3: big payday, it was I think it was like twelve
- 10:35Speaker 3: million or something like that. She might have got seven
- 10:37Speaker 3: million for Sister Act, and then she went up to
- 10:39Speaker 3: like it was in the teens, though it wasn't like
- 10:40Speaker 3: the twenty piece.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I like, let the record reflect. I love Sister Tract one.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I think the story is amazing. It's a better I

- 11:01Speaker 3: She had the Oscar, then she got the hit movie
- 11:03Speaker 3: on top of it. But but but the huge gamble
- 11:10Speaker 3: with with big paydays is that you do you do
- 11:13Speaker 3: the work, you get a huge road and that can
- 11:15Speaker 3: up your salary for the next thing, and then when
- 11:19Speaker 3: the next things don't be hidden, you're right back down.
- 11:24Speaker 3: And it was like she didn't have another Sister Act
- 11:28Speaker 3: after Sister Act.
- 11:29Speaker 1: What was her was Sister Act her last big, big movie.
- 11:34Speaker 3: That she was absolute leading absolutely, I would say yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 3: because Eddie didn't do well. Associate, Yeah, the associate.

- 11:47Speaker 3: And then you know, she was a supporting characters in

- 20:10Speaker 1: He's so.
- 20:12Speaker 2: One of my favorite scenes, in a very kind of
- 20:15Speaker 2: low key scene, is when the soldiers are about to
- 20:19Speaker 2: fight and I kill each other.
- 20:20Speaker 1: He was like, what's the pot up? Two?

- 21:13Speaker 1: That in a minute.
- 21:14Speaker 2: It's like, once he got to that Dom Touretto character,
- 21:16Speaker 2: he was just domn Touretto, Pitch Black, Dom Touretto and Toretto.
- 21:22Speaker 3: And then just the big money.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Then that's big money. Then he ain't switched that.

- 21:59Speaker 2: was doing different. If it were me, I can't do.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I feel like he's not experimenting no more characters. He
- 22:05Speaker 3: definitely could because I'm sure people have cast him for sure.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Furious. Yeah, he'll he'll do something because I like him.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna go I don't know if he was gonna
- 22:15Speaker 2: say this one, but I feel like this movie is

- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah. And I arrest man taking everything from me.
- 22:56Speaker 3: He's loving his kid, man, man never never. I don't
- 22:59Speaker 3: know something about that dynamic where you know your kid
- 23:02Speaker 3: is doing wrong but you still just want to be
- 23:04Speaker 3: connected to your sons and just be supportive.
- 23:07Speaker 1: But was selling drugs?
- 23:08Speaker 3: Come on.

- 23:50Speaker 3: and touching, and it was at the it was at
- 23:52Speaker 3: the brink. It almost got me to tears, but I

- 24:44Speaker 3: But but.
- 24:46Speaker 2: She was just dog and man Man one of my
- 24:50Speaker 2: favorite scenes of all time. This is not funny, but

- 24:55Speaker 1: He touched her boobs and he was Ryan Man and
- 25:06Speaker 1: I feel you for us.
- 25:08Speaker 3: It took him a long time to smash It's okay.
- 25:12Speaker 3: It's like, man, can you imagine imagine the person you
- 25:16Speaker 3: are madly in love with for years, decades even, and

- 28:46Speaker 1: a multiple multitude of occasions. I've never seen it.
- 28:49Speaker 3: This is probably my most watched Tom Hanks movie, The
- 28:53Speaker 3: Burbs Burbs Comedy. Yes, didn't do all that you did
- 28:59Speaker 3: like thirty something, ain't at the box office. It's one
- 29:01Speaker 3: of his you know, but man, really I love this
- 29:05Speaker 3: movie so much. It's a simple story about this weird
- 29:10Speaker 3: neighbors and they trying to figure out what the hell's
- 29:12Speaker 3: going on in that house. You you haven't seen it, Frederick,
- 29:19Speaker 3: watch it this weekend please for me. Yeah. I love
- 29:25Speaker 3: this movie man, And it came out like eighty eight
- 29:28Speaker 3: eighty nine. It's one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies. Man,
- 29:31Speaker 3: when he goes off at the edge just on the
- 29:34Speaker 3: feed up. Yeah, man, and I was I would love
- 29:38Speaker 3: to be in a movie like that. I would love
- 29:41Speaker 3: to be in a movie like The Birds. It's it's simple,
- 29:44Speaker 3: The timeline is short. There may be a couple of
- 29:47Speaker 3: days just on the on one block.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just fantastic.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Uh. Do you want to say we said no no
- 29:55Speaker 2: voice no voice over stuff, but we all acknowledge.
- 29:58Speaker 1: His work as and story because but we're gonna we're
- 30:03Speaker 1: only gonna go with live action. With that being said,
- 30:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna go The movie just jumped out of my mind. Uh,
- 30:17Speaker 1: Captain Phillips.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Oh that's the top ten.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Interesting performance wise, I feel like Tom was like we don't.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Mean I mean, there's a couple of times where it's
- 30:26Speaker 3: just be like all right, he just.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Yeah, because like I like rot to Perdition, but he
- 30:30Speaker 1: was like muted, muted.
- 30:32Speaker 3: You going performances and you're just going movies. I'm going movies.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Okay, I was going how he performed in them.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Oh oh that's a different list.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you talking about how much, how good?
- 30:43Speaker 3: You're talking about movies.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, that's a different list because I think like.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Captain Phillips, he was great. Yeah, that's what that's saying.
- 30:53Speaker 3: It the end, when he broke down after everything, I
- 30:56Speaker 3: was like, that's real.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Sit I love I'm the captain anouncing all right, all right,
- 31:00Speaker 2: Like I was feeling the pressure. Yeah, when I was
- 31:04Speaker 2: just like, man, I don't know how you get out
- 31:06Speaker 2: of like the pirates was not playing.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Around, bro, I'm the captain, man, man, we're desperate out here.
- 31:11Speaker 2: And also I feel like that after did that, he
- 31:14Speaker 2: could have did other stuff. He had no money to
- 31:16Speaker 2: get to the Oscars, the studio bottom for that, and
- 31:18Speaker 2: then I seen.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Him he was he was in something else, but then
- 31:21Speaker 3: I can't remember what it was, and then I don't
- 31:23Speaker 3: know what he's doing now I.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Ain't seen him.
- 31:26Speaker 2: But yeah, I feel like I'm gonna go Captain Phillips
- 31:27Speaker 2: I was thinking of I was a mix, but like
- 31:30Speaker 2: I remember Captain Phillips. I was like, he's never gonna
- 31:34Speaker 2: go too far away from Tom Hanks, like he's Tom Hanks,
- 31:38Speaker 2: but that was a different I was like, oh, this
- 31:40Speaker 2: is another performance and it's not like the same exact thing, right,
- 31:43Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm gonna go there. If you go movies,
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna change my next one up.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead.
- 31:48Speaker 3: So some of some of these are a mixture of
- 31:49Speaker 3: movies and performance. So Philadelphia performance in movie that was
- 31:56Speaker 3: that was on my list, That movie right there, it was.
- 31:59Speaker 3: I saw that movie the first time I saw it
- 32:01Speaker 3: on video. I didn't see it in theaters, and I could.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I couldn't sleep after I watched it.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Really yeah, I was up all night.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I was just like, damn, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:10Speaker 3: The movie movie it just hit me. It resonated with me.
- 32:12Speaker 3: It was it was it was scary, it was touching,
- 32:15Speaker 3: it was eye opening, and it was just like human
- 32:18Speaker 3: and I was just like, man, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I really felt like he died. I was like, damn, man,
- 32:25Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, and you know, just the
- 32:27Speaker 3: deterioration and you know, coming around, you know what I'm saying,
- 32:31Speaker 3: and Denzel's change of heart and just but his performance
- 32:36Speaker 3: in Philadelphia was just like, Man, I really felt for
- 32:38Speaker 3: the guy. Yeah, Like even in the beginning when he
- 32:42Speaker 3: walked out after Denzel was like, I just can't you know,
- 32:47Speaker 3: he kind of just punked out and dismissed him and
- 32:49Speaker 3: he just stood outside the the office and you could
- 32:52Speaker 3: just see him going through so many emotions in that moment.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I was just like, man, he's great.
- 32:58Speaker 3: That's why he got the back to back Oscar, he
- 33:00Speaker 3: got the Philadelphia in the Forest Gum back to Bag.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yes, I'm gonna go Green Mile.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Yes, that's tear Jerk City.
- 33:10Speaker 1: There was a time man, when we and unless the
- 33:12Speaker 1: first start dating. Man, I just couldn't stop watching that movie.
- 33:16Speaker 3: You could, you could watch it.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Something was wrong.
- 33:19Speaker 3: I'll be scared to venture back in the water.
- 33:22Speaker 1: That is a dark, dark movie. Absolutely, But The Wild
- 33:29Speaker 1: Bill and Michael Clark Duncan.
- 33:32Speaker 3: I was ensemble cast, was fine.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, sucking the death and stuff out. That
- 33:39Speaker 1: part was hard to watch, but I just I boy,
- 33:43Speaker 1: there was a moment in time that movie Man on VHS.
- 33:50Speaker 3: When that movie came out, I was I was crying
- 33:52Speaker 3: again till duckt was oversized. That movie folded me up, Man,
- 33:57Speaker 3: folding me up, like the movie Theater Seas when you
- 33:59Speaker 3: ain't sitting now.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I was crying again. His man, that movie was heavy,
- 34:05Speaker 1: but it was so good. Yeah, it was excellent. I mean,
- 34:08Speaker 1: just a really good movie. Man the Mouse. We felt
- 34:12Speaker 1: bad like this. The range of characters was really good
- 34:16Speaker 1: as well.
- 34:16Speaker 2: In the Death Brow like you start to see even

- 34:32Speaker 2: No, it's uh Sam Rockwell, Bill Man. I would they
- 34:38Speaker 2: killed him early? Yeah, y'all don't even wait to his day.
- 34:41Speaker 2: He deserves to die early.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Michael Jeter as Edward is always good to freaking Percy.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I hated Percy. Percy was that guy?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Percy.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Percy was terrible.
- 34:57Speaker 3: He's like the Evil, Kevin Spacey.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, I love that movie.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Green Mounds Fire. So we got Saving Private Ryan,
- 35:05Speaker 3: we got Forrest Gun, we got the Birds, we got

- 35:19Speaker 3: That was a good ass time and I feel like
- 35:22Speaker 3: that's what really got the ball rolling on Tom Hanks
- 35:25Speaker 3: becoming one of the biggest movie stars ever. It was
- 35:28Speaker 3: just like, because he had been in stuff before that,
- 35:31Speaker 3: but big was that that was the one where it
- 35:36Speaker 3: was man, this guy and.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Just I really, I really believed one.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Hundred percent that he was a child and a grown
- 35:46Speaker 3: man's by I believed every molecule of it. That moment
- 35:51Speaker 3: where he checked into that sleazy hotel the first night
- 35:56Speaker 3: he was big and he was scared because they were
- 35:58Speaker 3: larguing outside of the hotel. He pushed, uh the thing
- 36:02Speaker 3: up against the door and crowd himself to sleep. I
- 36:04Speaker 3: was like, these are the things you don't see in
- 36:07Speaker 3: a body swap situation, terrified a kid.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Will be exactly. You just take all the adults stuff,
- 36:16Speaker 1: have the kids like this is crazy.
- 36:18Speaker 3: You don't have a meltdown. You in the heart of
- 36:21Speaker 3: the city. You is right round, carrying right down your
- 36:24Speaker 3: pitch and you coming. You're just a kid. That's that's
- 36:29Speaker 3: the real reaction for sure. I'm like, and I was eighteen. Man.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Just imagine a kid shoved into a dirty hotel. You
- 36:39Speaker 3: got chased out of your house by your parents, You
- 36:41Speaker 3: don't know where to go. Your friend gave you a
- 36:43Speaker 3: little bit of cash.
- 36:44Speaker 1: You just laugh.
- 36:45Speaker 3: You by yourself, man, big go.
- 36:50Speaker 2: This is just personal. This is just you got your ringer,
- 36:53Speaker 2: I got mine. The Terminal, Okay, I love that.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That was I feel like they don't make that movie anymore.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeah, where it's not like I mean, obviously Tom Hanks
- 37:06Speaker 2: is a big star, but like the premise isn't big.
- 37:09Speaker 1: He was just a guy stuck at the airport. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that could be a good time.
- 37:13Speaker 2: But they don't really make those like in between movies anymore,
- 37:16Speaker 2: especially if there's not an a lister.
- 37:18Speaker 1: But The Terminal was good.
- 37:19Speaker 3: It was just I really I was just like I
- 37:22Speaker 3: remember enjoying that joint.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it came out in two thousand and four. That
- 37:25Speaker 1: movie is already twenty years old. Damn. That's crazy.
- 37:29Speaker 2: But like it had serious moments too, you know what
- 37:32Speaker 2: I'm saying. But it was also funny like he's brushing
- 37:34Speaker 2: TV the bathroom, but then also like his family. Yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, And I just love it.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Road to Pradition just.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Roader Pradition is on my list just through that. The
- 37:45Speaker 3: stuff that's on my list that didn't make it because
- 37:47Speaker 3: we ran out of the room.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Yeah, is uh.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I got Road to Pradition here, and I got a
- 37:51Speaker 3: League of their Own. Oh my gosh, there's no crime
- 37:55Speaker 3: in baseball, there's no crying, no crimes out. Get it
- 38:00Speaker 3: out of there.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Man forgot about legally hold it. But I watched leg
- 38:05Speaker 1: of their Own that he has so many movies I
- 38:08Speaker 1: just forgot. Yeah. But first of all, quick aside Geena Davis,
- 38:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, that was a whole lot of women
- 38:15Speaker 1: for me.
- 38:16Speaker 3: I used to have a crush on Jena Man.
- 38:18Speaker 1: But the thing I liked about that movie is I
- 38:20Speaker 1: didn't know anything about that. Yeah. I was just like, oh,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I didn't even know they had Rosie O'donna was She
- 38:27Speaker 1: was perfect in that movie. Tom Hanks is the frustrated manager.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Laurd and Petty did a good job in there. Madonna Madonna. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 3: Madonna was good in that.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, she wasn't man leading.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Her own was John love It?
- 38:45Speaker 1: I love him? Remember the critic man?
- 38:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, sure, my god, I was a fan of
- 38:50Speaker 3: John love It. Ownd Madonna was in that movie for sure.
- 38:58Speaker 3: I fully believe heaves as a ballplayer in that joint.
- 39:03Speaker 1: There's no crying in bay. That's another thing I said
- 39:05Speaker 1: for a long and there's no reason to say that ever.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Nothing just saying there's no crying in baseball. I still
- 39:11Speaker 3: say it with somebody cries, there's no crying in baseball.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Baseball, but the black girls came in.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I like Rosie o'donnald a lot. I just want to
- 39:19Speaker 3: give her some flowers real quick. I'll be liking her
- 39:22Speaker 3: and stuff too. I saying her, what happened to her?
- 39:27Speaker 3: She still she showed us she was.
- 39:29Speaker 1: She was in that.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Did you see that Mark Ruffalo joint where he played
- 39:31Speaker 3: the twins? Hm, it's for HBO. I know this much
- 39:35Speaker 3: is true. That's the name of it.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I saw the black marketing. But she's in that.
- 39:39Speaker 3: She's great in that. Really, Yeah, she's.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Great her in a minute.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I like Rosie o'donnald and stuff man.
- 39:45Speaker 1: They remade a league of their own TV series. Is
- 39:50Speaker 1: it good? Okay, there's black girls in there? Oh that's
- 39:54Speaker 1: is that? Oh that party?
- 39:58Speaker 3: Okay? Now we can now we get up all that
