Mega Edition: Alex Acosta and His Fierce Defense Of The Abomination Known As The NPA (7/10/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Epstein Chronicles. Now that we're about halfway through the alex
0:07
Acosta deposition, I thought it would be time to talk
0:11
a little bit about how much of a dog and
0:13
pony show the whole entire thing is. I mean, they
0:15
still have alex Acosta out here defending this monstrosity of
0:20
a plea deal. So let's just get it straight. The
0:23
Department of Justice is supposed to be the guardian of
0:26
truth and accountability, right, well, they actually have the gall
0:31
to defend that travesty of a deal they gave to
0:33
Jeffrey Epstein, that freak show of an agreement that let
0:37
a serial predator stroll through a revolving door. Mask of
0:40
rating as a prison sentence is still somehow being justified
0:44
in official circles, like it was some kind of legal
0:46
masterpiece as opposed to a moral crime scene. They talk
0:50
about it like it was just another tough call, like
0:53
it was complex. Yeah, it was complex, all right, in
0:57
the way racketeering is complex, in the way corruption always is.
1:01
When too many rich people are on the wrong side
1:03
of the table, you can feel the arrogance dripping off
1:06
the DJ's talking points. They honestly think that the rest
1:09
of us are too stupid to notice that the law
1:12
works one way for the powerful and another way for
1:15
everyone else. I mean, you'd think, after all this time,
1:18
someone and that marble floored fortress in DC would have
1:21
the decency to say, yeah, you know, we screwed up.
1:24
But no, Instead they trot out half baked soulis nonsense
1:28
about unique circumstances and legal complexities, as if those phrases
1:33
are some kind of magic spell that erasist accountability. The
1:37
only complexity was how many golf course handshakes it took
1:40
to make a federal sex trafficking case evaporate into thin air.
1:44
The whole thing sounds like it was storyboarded in a
1:47
cigar lounge. These people love their euphemisms, resolution, agreement, non prosecution.
1:54
That's the government's version for a pullin a Roberto Duran
1:57
and quitting on the stool in between round zones. And
2:02
the most insulting part is that they're proud of it,
2:05
still patting themselves on the back for avoiding a lengthy trial,
2:08
as if efficiency is a moral virtue when the price
2:11
is letting a monster off the hook. And the audacity
2:14
all of the audacity of alex Acosta to sit there
2:18
in that congressional deposition with that smug little bureaucrat faith
2:22
and say didn't know the case. You couldn't write satire.
2:25
That's that absurd. Imagine the head chef admitting that he
2:29
never looked at the menu, but insisting dinner was perfect.
2:33
This man had one job prosecute Epstein, and he couldn't
2:36
even be bothered to read the damn file. But somehow
2:39
it was fifty to fifty. Yeah, fifty percent corruption and
2:42
fifty percent cowardice, zero percent competence. That's the real math here.
2:47
Brows like the substitute teacher who never met the students
2:50
but still hands out grades, shrugging while the whole class burns,
2:54
and he delivers it with the tone of a man inconvenience.
2:57
By being asked to explain himself. You can almost hear
3:00
the entitlement in his voice, the same tone you hear
3:04
from every official who's too insulated to realize the country
3:07
can see right through him. He's like the guy at
3:10
the blackjack table who doesn't know the rules but still
3:13
insists he's got the strategy. Except in this case, the
3:16
chips were actual human lives. He wasn't just guessing wrong.
3:20
He was gambling with the lives of dozens of traffic miners.
3:23
And when he lost, he blamed the deck and then
3:26
to hear him spin it like he was outnumbered or
3:28
out maneuvered, Alex, come on, homie, you weren't out maneuvered.
3:32
You were out man morally. You didn't fold because you
3:35
didn't have the cards. You folded because the guy across
3:38
from you owned the casino. The DOJ wants to dress
3:42
it up as prosecutorial discretion, but it was really capitulation,
3:46
plain and simple. It's like watching a boxer throw the
3:49
fight and then brag about how clean his footwork was.
3:54
And let's not talk about who he did. Listen to
3:56
Matthew Minchell. Yeah, that guy, the one with the conveniently
4:00
warm friendship with Epstein, the ski and Buddy, the social
4:03
butterfly of the legal elite. Because nothing screams impartial judgment
4:07
like taking cues from a man carbon slopes with the
4:09
target of your office's investigation. I mean, you can almost
4:14
picture these dudes on the chairlift talking about snow conditions,
4:17
girls and how to quietly bury a federal case. This
4:21
is the American justice system in a nutshell, where a
4:24
conflict of interest is in a red flag. It's the
4:27
entry requirement. Acosta brushed off mari Via Lafauna, the one
4:31
prosecutor who actually gave a damn and instead put his
4:35
faith in the advice of a man who was practically
4:37
sharing hot coco with Epstein in Aspen the second he
4:41
left office. And that's the guy, Acosta says, he relied on,
4:44
not the woman who spent years building a meticulous case,
4:47
but the one linked to the predator himself. You can't
4:51
make this shit up, because at the end of the day,
4:53
Acosta chose comfort over conscience and corruption over courage. He
4:57
listened to the voices telling him to protect power, the
5:00
ones pleading for justice. It's the same choice people like
5:03
him always make, and they always have the same excuse. Ready,
5:06
it's complicated, No, it's not. Well unless you're Jeffrey Epstein.
5:10
The rest of us don't get complicated. We get court dates,
5:14
and then of course we have to talk about those
5:16
missing emails, right, the infamous missing emails, because of course
5:20
there are missing emails. That's the modern signature move for
5:23
anyone caught red handed. Vanish the paper trail, say that
5:26
there was a server error and hope that the storm
5:29
passes somewhere on a DOJ backup drive. There's a digital
5:33
goal mine of conversations that would make Watergate look like
5:36
Amateur Hour. You just know they're out there. Messages full
5:40
of wink wink updates and gentle reminders from DC handlers,
5:44
lunch with Alan, golf with Jeff Marie, still pushing too
5:47
hard if we ever saw them half a DC would
5:51
need a lawyer by breakfast. And it's wild how the
5:54
DOJ acts like this is some localized Palm Beach issue,
5:58
like the world's most well connected sex trafficker just fell
6:01
out of the Florida sky by coincidence. No, this wasn't
6:05
a local matter. Pomp Beach was just the puppet theater.
6:09
The real show was in DC, where strings were pulled
6:12
and phones lit up with quiet instruction. The local prosecutors
6:16
were props and a bigger production, the kind where the
6:20
script was already written and the ending was non negotiable.
6:24
Epstein's lawyers reached out to DC early, and once they did,
6:28
justice didn't stand a chance. It was over before it started.
6:32
Now they'll tell you, well, the evidence wasn't solid, but
6:35
I'll tell you, give me a break. The evidence was
6:38
a mountain, and they acted like it was fog. The
6:41
FBI had flight logs, photos, Warren statements, names, corroboration. Hell,
6:46
they practically had the man's itinery of depravity. The problem
6:51
wasn't the evidence, it was the optics. Too many people,
6:55
too many powerful people in powerful circles, were attached to
6:59
that evidence. So suddenly it's inconclusive. Suddenly witness credibility becomes
7:04
a buzzword. Funny how the rules bend when billionaires are involved.
7:08
For a poor man suspicion alone, it's going to ruin
7:11
your life. For Epstein, mountains of proof weren't enough for
7:14
a week in real prison. Now Lacosta's whole defense might
7:18
as well be I was just following orders. Classic. That
7:22
is the oldest bureaucratic cop out in history. That's the
7:26
line that every moral coward reaches for when the heat
7:29
turns up. I relied on my staff, I followed guidance,
7:33
Sure you did, and OJ just followed his glove. When
7:37
you sign your name to a decision, you own it.
7:39
You don't get to hide behind your subordinates like a
7:41
frightened child holding his mother's skirt. Leave that for Prince Andrew.
7:45
But that's what our system breeds. Men who want the
7:48
title but not the responsibility. And who made those calls, Well,
7:53
we can all take an educated guess. You think this
7:56
whole mess vanished because alex Acosta just woke up generous
7:59
one morning. No people called in favors. Deals were brokered
8:03
in places where he don't take notes, steakhouses, country clubs, penthouses, boardrooms.
8:10
Let's make this go away, someone said, and they did.
8:14
The local office became a stage prop, while the real
8:16
decisions got made behind closed doors by people whose names
8:20
never show up in filings. It's not a conspiracy theory,
8:24
my friends, that's an American reality. And look, you can
8:27
almost picture it right. Epstein's lawyers sitting across from some
8:30
smirking DC operative, the cigar burning low, the deal practically
8:34
writing itself. He's one of ours. Someone mutters, we can't
8:38
let this get out, and that's that. The signatures are
8:42
inked the champagne board and the survivors once again forgotten. Look,
8:47
the fix was clean, professional and er tight, the only
8:50
way Washington knows how to do it. And when it
8:53
was all over, they congratulated each other for resolving another
8:57
difficult matter. The self congratulation of the is always the loudest.
9:02
And now, years later they expect us to believe it
9:04
was all just an unfortunate miscommunication. That's their favorite trick,
9:08
reduced deliberate deceit into bureaucratic confusion. Oops, we accidentally gave
9:13
global immunity to a child trafficker and his entire network
9:17
are bad. The NPA wasn't an accident. It was a
9:21
blueprint for impunity. No other case in history has seen
9:25
a deal like it, a binding federal promise to never
9:28
prosecute anyone connected to a trafficking ring. We're not talking
9:32
about a mistake, folks, We're talking about protection, and they
9:36
know it. Meanwhile, Acosta's out here trying to act like
9:40
a misunderstood martyr. It was complicated, he says, with that
9:44
bureaucratic monotone that makes your blood boil complicated. You don't
9:48
need a PhD in law to know you don't hand
9:51
out immunity to co conspirators in a sex trafficking case.
9:54
You just need a soul. But that's the part that
9:57
seems to go missing when powers involved the soul. Acosta
10:02
didn't lose his job because of bad judgment. He lost
10:04
it because of the truth he accidentally told, and one
10:08
that he denies now. And what was that truth, Well,
10:12
he was told that Epstein belonged to intelligence. And when
10:15
you say that out loud, they show you the door
10:18
real fast. And like I always say, if it had
10:20
been you or me, or anyone without billions or without
10:24
a contact sheet that resembled a Bond villain, they'd be
10:27
eating bologney sandwiches in a concrete box until Kingdom come.
10:30
But Epstein, well we already know, broke out to work
10:33
in his home office every single day, go to his
10:36
mansion at night and order takeout like a man on
10:39
house arrest for jaywalking. The system bent over backward for
10:43
this do nod, and the DOJ is still owed here
10:45
pretending that was fine. Like they're defending the sacred honor
10:49
of corruption itself. And for me, I can't get over it,
10:53
the fact that the DOJ still defends it. They go
10:56
on television, they write their press releases, and they look
10:59
the American public in the eye and say, no laws
11:01
were broken. Well, maybe not on paper, but the entire
11:05
spirit of justice was gutted. They left to hide behind
11:08
the letter of the law because it gives them cover.
11:10
We followed procedure great, so did every other corrupt official
11:14
in history. Procedure without integrity is just theater, and that's
11:18
exactly what this was, a procedural performance to disguise just
11:23
how rotten the whole thing is. And the whole thing
11:27
reads like a badass mob movie. You got smooth talking lawyers,
11:30
the compromised prosecutors, the missing evidence, the shadowy phone calls,
11:34
the payoff, the silence. It's goodfellas with the government pensions.
11:39
Everyone plays their part, everyone gets their cut, and nobody
11:42
talks about it afterward. The only difference is the mob
11:45
had more honor. At least they admitted that they were crooks.
11:49
These people wear their corruption in suits and they call
11:51
it public service. Now. Look, I've said it before and
11:55
I'll say it again. The fix was in from day one,
11:59
the second Epstein's hit, a DC desk justice didn't stand
12:02
a chance. Everything after that was a show. The hearings,
12:06
the filings, the investigations, all just set dressing to keep
12:09
the public pacified while the real machinery of protection clicked
12:13
into place. The DOJ didn't fail. It performed exactly as intended.
12:18
And now years later when they act shocked, shocked that
12:22
people don't trust institutions anymore. I want to throw my
12:25
remote at the TV. What did you expect? You turned
12:29
justice into a punchline. You told an entire generation that
12:33
the law isn't blind, it's for sale, that if you're
12:36
rich enough, even your crimes get tax deductions. And now
12:39
you want to cry about eroding faith in democracy. You
12:43
did that, not us. You burn that bridge. So sparis
12:46
the excuses, the hollow statements, the self serving apologies. The
12:51
rest of us. We live in the real world, where
12:53
the law means something, or at least it's supposed to,
12:56
where predators don't get private deals written in back rooms,
13:00
where survivors actually get their day in court. But when
13:03
it came to Epstein, none of that applied. They didn't
13:06
just fail justice, they betrayed it, and then they had
13:09
the gall to call it a difficult decision. The only
13:12
thing difficult about it was keeping a straight face while
13:15
they sold their souls. All of the information that goes
13:18
with this episode can be found in the description box.
13:21
What's Up everyone, and Welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
13:27
In the wake of the Miami Herald investigation into Jeffrey Epstein,
13:32
there was a lot of questions that had to be answered,
13:35
and unfortunately we still don't have any of those answers. Now.
13:39
Of course, they'll tell you that Acosta was the key
13:43
player in all of this, if you listen to them,
13:47
they'll tell you that Acosta was the man who made
13:49
this deal all on his own. Well, we know that's
13:53
not the case, and we know that there was many
13:55
moving parts that were working together to make sure that
13:59
all of the this happened. So that's why I have
14:02
been so adamant that it's not just Acosta here. And
14:06
if we just focus on Acosta, then we're missing the overall,
14:11
bigger plot. Now, Acosta's the low hanging fruit, right They
14:15
want you to focus on that. They want to look
14:17
at a Costa and say, look, we got rid of him,
14:20
he got fired from his position because it was all
14:22
his fault. But it wasn't all his fault. There was
14:26
a lot going on, and a lot of people who
14:28
should have been worried about these survivors, about these girls,
14:32
weren't worried about these survivors or these girls, And instead, Well,
14:36
you had people leaving their position as state attorneys federal
14:40
prosecutors to go and work on the Jeffrey Epstein case.
14:45
I mean, really, that's okay with people. There's nothing untowards
14:48
about that. There's no conflict of interest there, of course
14:52
there is. But guess what when these are the people
14:54
who are engaging in it, it's okay because they don't
14:57
have the same set of rules that we do. And
15:00
then when they get called out for their bullshit, well
15:03
the legacy media comes riding in to save their lives
15:06
and white knight them when what they should be doing
15:10
is holding them accountable. But they won't do it. They
15:13
refuse to do it. So today we're going to go
15:15
back to an article from twenty to nineteen from the
15:18
Miami Herald where Alexander Acosta points some fingers at some
15:22
other people. Now, the question is why hasn't the fervor
15:28
around these other folks been the same as it was
15:30
around the costa. Is it that we just want, you know,
15:34
the low hanging fruit. Nobody wants to do the extra
15:37
work and really see what the dirty room holds when
15:40
you pull back the curtains, because if they did, they'd
15:44
be going deep here on everybody involved, not just a Costa.
15:48
But they never did it, did they. They tried to
15:51
set a Costa up as basically the fall guy, so
15:54
nobody looked deeper, so nobody looked at who was really
15:57
pulling the strings. Today's article is from twenty and nineteen
16:03
and it was authored by Julie K. Brown. Headline deflecting
16:07
blame a cost appointed finger at others. Why they may
16:11
have some explaining to do. Yeah, everybody involved has some
16:14
explaining to do, Okay, every last person. On October twenty third,
16:21
two thousand and seven, as federal prosecutors in South Florida
16:25
were in the midst of tense negotiations to finalize a
16:28
plea deal with a Q sex traficker, Jeffrey Epstein, a
16:32
senior prosecutor in their office, was quietly laying out plans
16:36
to leave the US Attorney's office after eleven years. Now,
16:40
mind you, this is in the middle of tense negotiations
16:44
with Jeffrey Epstein and his people. Why would this prosecutor
16:47
think it's a good idea to leave his position and
16:50
go and work for Jeffrey Epstein's associates. And you know what,
16:53
the galling part about that is when people try and
16:57
distinguish it from one another. Right, Oh, well, he was
17:00
working for Epstein's clients, not Epstein. And you think Epstein's
17:04
Epstein's associates were paying for these bills? Or was it
17:09
Jeffrey Epstein who was transferring three hundred and fifty thousand
17:12
dollars to co conspirators? Was he the one paying these bills?
17:17
On that date, as emails were flying between Epstein's lawyers
17:20
and federal prosecutors, Bruce E. Reinhart, now a federal magistrate,
17:25
opened a limited liability company in Florida that established what
17:29
would become his new criminal defense practice. Oh that's nice.
17:32
Another LLC. Another one of these people who have these
17:35
limited liability companies. The stated address, according to Florida State
17:42
corporate records, two fifty South Australian Avenue, Sweet fourteen hundred.
17:48
It was the same location and identical suite number as
17:51
that of Epstein's lead attorney, Jack Goldberger. So Reinhart leaves
17:57
the prosecution and then basically the next day has an
18:01
office with Epstein's lawyer, Jack Goldberger. But he's not defending
18:04
jeff Epstein. Oh no, no, no, no, has nothing to do
18:07
with the defending Jeffrey Epstein. He's just defending Jeffrey Epstein's associates,
18:11
as if that's any better, As if that is any better.
18:18
By the end of the year, Reinhart had resigned his
18:22
post in the Southern District of Florida. Within days, on
18:25
January two, two thousand and eight, he was hired to
18:28
represent several of Epstein's accused accomplices who would later, like Epstein,
18:34
receive federal immunity for allegedly trafficking underage girls. Huh, So
18:39
this isn't something that should be talked about. I just
18:42
read a whole ass USA Today article this morning trying
18:45
to debunk the fact that Ryan Hart was working with Epstein. Now,
18:51
let's not conflate the issue here and say that, oh, well,
18:54
that's the reason that he sent this warrant over to
18:56
mart That's ridiculous, Okay, But we're not gonna whitewatch the
18:59
fact that this dude worked for Jeffrey Epstein's clients. And
19:03
for those of us who know the story, we know
19:05
that means he worked for Epstein because none of his
19:07
clients had this kind I mean, none of his associates
19:09
had this kind of money to pay for this kind
19:11
of legal service. So please don't try and gaslight me.
19:16
Please don't try and you know, feed me your narrative,
19:19
because we know the real story. Reinhart's defection was one
19:26
of many highly unusual turns that the Epstein case took
19:29
twelve years ago, moves that could merit examination as the
19:34
multimillionaire's controversial non prosecution agreement is dissected in the wake
19:38
of his arrest last week on sex trafficking charges. Well,
19:42
we know that's not the case. We know nobody's gonna
19:44
look at anything because it would lead to egg on
19:46
their face. And believe me, it's not just rein Hard here.
19:50
There's a whole host of characters that were once federal prosecutors,
19:54
that were once federal agents of the law, that worked
19:57
for Epstein and in fact worked to destroy Joy the
20:00
Girl's case. There have been long questions raised about the
20:06
level of influence Epstein and his powerhouse legal team may
20:09
have exerted over federal and state prosecutors, as well as
20:14
Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw. Alexandra Acosta, the former
20:19
top prosecutor of Epstein's case. In two thousand and seven,
20:22
two thousand and eight, resigned on Friday as US Secretary
20:26
of Labor, saying the overwhelming media scrutiny he has faced
20:29
since Epstein's arrest part of the fallout from the Miami
20:32
Heralds investigative series Perversion of Justice, has become too big
20:37
of a distraction to overcome. Bro, You're the distraction, the
20:43
fact that you and your buddies were out here making
20:45
back room deals to let Jeffrey Epstein and his bitch
20:48
ass associates walk. You're the problem. At the same time, Friday,
20:56
authorities in New York revealed that as recently as December
20:59
two thousand in eighteen, Epstein was wiring money to people
21:03
who had potentially damaging information about his alleged sex trafficking enterprise.
21:08
That's what we talked about yesterday, the three hundred and
21:11
fifty thousand dollars transfers. So you see how this all
21:14
plays in, right, You see how I do these little
21:17
lead ins every now and then. There's a method to
21:20
your boy's madness. And today it's to show you that
21:24
everybody who is involved with this non prosecution agreement needs
21:30
to be looked at under the microscope. Bruce Reinhart, Acosta, Mukaesi,
21:36
all of them. New York US attorney Jeffrey Berman said
21:44
the transaction of hundreds of thousands of dollars, made just
21:47
days after the Miami Herald ran its series show that
21:50
the accused sex trafficker was still trying to use his
21:53
money to leverage witnesses. Bradley Edwards, one of the lawyers
21:58
who represents Epstein's survivors, said it's now time for Acosta
22:01
and others involved in the case to explain how and
22:06
why they gave Epstein and others immunity from such serious
22:09
charges without informing his survivors that they were disposing of
22:14
the case. Boy, that would be nice, but we're never
22:16
going to get that, are we. We're never going to
22:18
get accountability here because people are interested in whitewashing what happened.
22:23
When you have USA today basically running a puff piece
22:27
for Judge Ryan Hart just because it might damage them
22:30
politically or whatever, or their favored candidate politically, you know,
22:35
we have a big problem. You need to be able
22:37
to take a sober look at something like this and say, hey, look,
22:40
this person's a scumbag. I don't care what their politics are,
22:44
and if you're not interested in doing that and stuffing
22:47
your biases around this case, then you're in the way.
22:50
And I don't know how much more clear I need
22:52
to be about that. What we need now is for
23:00
Alex Acosta to finally sit down with us and explain
23:03
what happened, and for others involved in the investigation to
23:06
also talk Edwards said, and again, none of that's ever happened.
23:10
We haven't had a real conversation with all of the
23:12
people involved. How come all of these people haven't been
23:15
subpoena Oh that's right, no Rico. At an hour long
23:22
news conference Wednesday, Acosta defended his handling of the case
23:25
and cast's blame in various directions, including at the state
23:29
attorney who had been poised to charge Epstein with a misdemeanor,
23:32
at the sheriff who gave him liberal work release, and
23:36
at unnamed staff members under his own supervision. So, like usual,
23:40
it's everybody else's fault, right, No accountability within the federal government,
23:44
no accountability within any of the institutions. It's always somebody
23:48
else's fault. And if that's always the case, and we
23:51
allow that to occur, just like if you have a kid,
23:54
you let it occur. Well, they're going to build bad
23:56
habits and they're going to continue to do whatever they want,
23:59
just like a kid would do. That's why there needs
24:01
to be repercussions for everybody that was involved here. In
24:06
two thousand and seven two thousand and eight, Acosta's team
24:09
had prepared a fifty three page indictment against Epstein, citing
24:12
nearly three dozen underage girls, mostly thirteen to sixteen, who
24:17
were molested by the wealthy money manager. And if you
24:20
think Ryan Hard didn't know all of this, he most
24:22
certainly did. Remember he was a prosecutor, an old boy
24:25
decided to bounce from prosecution to go and work for
24:28
people like Sarah Kellen Vickers, people like Larry Vessosky. Really
24:33
that means Epstein. Let's not let them, you know, change
24:36
the narrative. But they'll say, oh, this is not a fact,
24:40
but it really is if you know the whole story
24:43
and you know who was paying the bills, because really,
24:46
if you're paying the bills, right, then you're the one
24:48
who's in charge. Acosta, however, agreed to shelve the indictment
24:56
and instead allowed Epstein to plead guilty to two felony
24:59
prostitutions charges in state court. Epstein's lawyers, who in addition
25:04
to Goldberger were Alan Dershowitz, Roy Black, Kenneth Starr, Guy Lewis,
25:09
and Jay Lefkowitz, demanded that the deal be sealed and
25:13
kept secret from Epstein's survivors. Acosta acquiesced emails show even
25:19
though survivors notification was required under federal law. So again
25:24
I ask you, is this Ryan Hart character really somebody
25:27
that everybody should be defending. And in the wake of
25:31
all of this, I remember it was, oh, why is
25:34
everybody attacking a judge? This is dangerous? And then on
25:37
the flip side of that, every single time I look
25:40
at the news, there's another judge being attacked if a
25:43
ruling doesn't go the way of said group. So enough
25:47
is enough, Okay, nobody is above reproach. None of these
25:50
judges are above reproach. None of these politicians are above reproach.
25:55
And stop the nonsense of telling people that they shouldn't
25:58
be critical of decisions that are made. These are public officials.
26:02
These are people that are elected or appointed by elected officials,
26:06
And if you won't hold them accountable, then it's up
26:08
to us to do that. In January, the Justice Department
26:16
announced it had opened a probe into whether there were
26:18
possible misconduct by prosecutors in the case. The investigations by
26:24
DOJ's Office of Professional Responsibility remains pending. The DOJ inquiry
26:29
could bump up against the New York investigation, which is
26:32
being led by the Southern District of New York's Public
26:35
Corruption Unit. Now again, I ask you, why was the
26:38
Public Corruptions Unit involved? And nobody in the public sphere
26:42
ever got naeld. I'm gonna tell you exactly what I think, Okay,
26:46
And you know me, I don't do too much of
26:47
the diving into the deep end of the conspiracy pool.
26:51
My guess is that they had everything right in front
26:54
of them. They knew what they could have got, They
26:57
knew what they could have achieved here as far as prosecutors,
27:01
and they chose not to do it. That's right. The
27:04
SDNY let off Epstein and his associates. Once again, there's
27:09
no other excuse, There's no other explanation when you have
27:12
this kind of evidence and you don't go the full Monty,
27:16
what else would you have? Me believe? Berman downplayed the
27:27
significance of the unit's involvement, cautioning reporters not to read
27:32
too much into it, but some experience federal investigators found
27:36
it curious me too. Why the hell would the Public
27:38
Corruptions Unit be involved if we have no public officials
27:42
who are on the radar. The fact that the Public
27:45
Corruption Unit is involved suggests to me that this goes
27:48
beyond the typical crimes against children or sex trafficking case. Typically,
27:53
they don't get involved in something like this unless it
27:56
involves looking at people who are in a position of
27:59
public trust, said James A. Gagliano, a twenty five year
28:03
old a twenty five year veteran of the Federal Bureau
28:06
of Investigations. So what did they find that scared them
28:09
so much? What did they find that they thought was
28:12
so horrible, so heinous, that they couldn't tell us because
28:17
something was found. They had all the evidence, they had
28:19
all of the hard drives, they had all of the pictures,
28:21
they had all the testimony. So what did they find
28:24
that was so disastrous, so bad that they're hiding it
28:27
from us? And at this point, I feel like they're
28:29
hiding stuff from us. Okay, we just talked about the
28:32
Freedom of Information Acts that they're continuously denying. They've never
28:36
been transparent from day one, so why would we think
28:39
that they're being transparent here. The Herald series examined a
28:46
number of people whose actions were questioned by lawyers representing
28:49
Epstein survivors. Besides Acosta, two other prosecutors in the Southern
28:53
District of Florida were named in court documents connected to
28:57
a civil lawsuit filed by two Epstein survivors in two
29:01
thousand and eight. One of them was Palm Beach federal
29:06
Magistrate Ryan Hart. I mean, you would think that people
29:09
would make more of this, right, but what they tried
29:11
to do was whitewash Rhinehart's involvement here, just simply because
29:16
he was the one who pulled that warrant on mar
29:18
A Lago. So you see both sides line up and
29:21
go into their foxholes. Right one side's putting out fake
29:24
pictures of Ryan Hart, the other sides trying to whitewash
29:27
his involvement. And then there's those of us who are
29:29
trying to get to the truth, who were in the middle,
29:31
who have to wade through all of that bullshit to
29:33
get there. And it's not fair to these survivors and
29:38
these people that continuously try to use this issue as
29:41
a political football. I've had enough of it. But the
29:45
fact is this, folks, your boy Ryan Hart is neck
29:49
deep in Epstein bullshit. In a twenty eleven sworn Affidavid
29:56
submitted in the civil case, Reinhart denied he did it
30:00
anything unethical or improper. He asserted, under the penalty of
30:04
perjury that he was not part of the team involved
30:06
in Epstein's investigation and therefore was not privy to any
30:10
confidential information about the case. But two years later, Reinhart's
30:15
former supervisors in the US Attorney's office filed a court
30:18
paper contradicting him, saying that while Bruce E. Reinhardt was
30:22
an assistant US attorney, he learned confidential, non public information
30:27
about the Epstein matter. That's them saying it, okay, folks,
30:31
not me. That's not some crazy person saying it trying
30:34
to cause some political rift. Okay, if that's what you're
30:38
looking for, this is not the podcast for you. We're
30:43
swimming through the bullshit here, folks, and we're trying to
30:45
get to the meat of the situation. And for me, anyway,
30:49
this Bruce Reinhardt character, well, he's neck deep, and I
30:53
wouldn't even be coming here and talking about this once
30:56
again today. But the USA today thought that they'd be
30:59
why guys and hop into the fray and put out
31:02
an article about fact check this, fact check this vafu
31:05
gooul to the fact checkers. Okay, because a lot of
31:08
these fact checkers don't know the facts. Now, I'm not
31:11
talking about other topics. I don't know about the other
31:13
topics the way I do about this one. So I
31:15
stay in my lane. You know, let's stay in our
31:18
lane and talk about the things we know about, not
31:20
talk about a bunch of shit we don't know about,
31:23
you know, like everybody else out there. In response to
31:28
her request for comment from The Herald last year, Reinhardt
31:31
said he doesn't recall learning anything about Epstein's criminal matters.
31:35
Even assuming I had participated personally and substantially in the
31:39
Epstein investigation, which I did not, The relevant Department of
31:43
Justice regulations only prohibited me from communicating with or appearing
31:48
before the United States on behalf of mister Epstein, he
31:51
said in an email, noting that while he represented a
31:54
number of Epstein's employees, he did not represent Epstein, who
31:58
paid for that. You noticed the USA today doesn't ask
32:01
that question, right, So who paid the bills? We know
32:05
now that it was Epstein paying the bills, So why
32:07
isn't anybody curious about that. It's because they're not curious
32:12
to get to the truth. They're only trying to use
32:15
things as a political cudgel to score points. He declined
32:23
to say whether he was being paid by Epstein for
32:25
representing several of Epstein's accused co conspirators, including Sarah kell
32:30
Sarah Kellen, Epstein's assistant in Palm Beach. Remember, Sarah Kellen
32:34
was the one who was mentioned at gahlenne Maxwell's trial
32:37
as being a co conspirator and part of the plot
32:39
here and as abusing girls. But it's okay that Reinhart
32:42
didn't Oh, he didn't represent Epstein. He just represented Sarah
32:45
Kellen Vickers. So it's okay, And you're a conspiracy theorist. Man.
32:49
Shut up. And as I like to say, you can
32:52
miss me with all of that. I have no time
32:55
for the bullshit. I have no time for false narratives.
32:59
And guess what he know who else doesn't have any
33:01
time for it? Anybody else who's interested in justice? Kellen,
33:07
who subsequent married name is Vickers, allegedly scheduled underage girls
33:11
to visit Epstein three and four times a day. Court
33:14
and police record show. So this guy. Forget all of
33:18
the Donald Trump nonsense. I could care less about any
33:21
of that. Okay, write as many warrants as you want,
33:24
tomor a lago, my friend. The real question for me
33:26
is why in the blazes are you even on the
33:29
bench after being involved with Jeffrey Epstein. Another federal prosecutor
33:36
who has been named in court records is Matthew L. Menchell,
33:39
who was in charge of the office Criminal Division and
33:42
was copied on some of the emails and other correspondents
33:45
and passed between prosecutors handling the case. Edwards, who drew
33:50
up civil a civil suit seeking to invalidate Epstein's plea agreement,
33:54
filed a sworn affid David in twenty thirteen, alleging that
33:58
the Justice Department knew that Menchhal had some sort of
34:01
relationship with Epstein. Now look, how many of these prosecutors
34:04
in the office have relationships with Epstein or his friends,
34:08
and none of you find anything untowards about this. This
34:12
is all above board for you, right, Okay? I guess,
34:15
so the government admits that it has information about a
34:19
personal or business relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and another in
34:24
Another prosecutor involved in the Epstein case, Matthew Menchell Edwards
34:28
wrote in the affid David Edwards was asking the judge
34:32
in the case, Kenneth ay Mehra, to demand the government
34:34
disclosed the nature of that relationship so that Epstein's victims
34:38
could evaluate whether there was anything improper about Menchell's involvement.
34:44
Do you folks not see the trend here? Can you
34:46
tell me the last case of amafioso or a drug
34:49
dealer where federal prosecutors abandoned ship at the federal government's
34:54
office to go and work for the drug dealers. But
34:57
it's not odd here that this happened in Jeffrey Epstein's case. Yes,
35:01
people act like this happens all the time. It does not.
35:04
And this man, Ryan Hard should have faced scrutiny, and
35:07
not just now. It should have been then he should
35:09
have never been on the bench when all of this
35:11
came out. They should have handled them. Then, Menchell, Villa Fauna,
35:16
every single person involved in this absolute sordid affair should
35:20
never hold public office again. In my experience, it is
35:27
highly unusual for federal prosecutors to work on a case
35:30
prosecuting someone such as Jeffrey Epstein and then shortly thereafter
35:34
leave the employment of the federal government and enter into
35:37
a business relationship with the person who is being prosecuted. Menchell,
35:42
now a child attorney with the Miami law firm Kobra
35:45
and Kim, declined to comment for this report. I can't
35:49
comment on the advice of counsel because there is an
35:51
open OPR investigation, Menchell said Saturday. Again, with the open investigation,
35:56
do you folks not see what's going on here? I
35:58
mean I We've put it out in black and white.
36:02
The next thing I'll have to do is break out
36:04
the note cards to put the pieces together here, because
36:06
it's rather obvious that all of these people mentioned, every
36:10
single one of them is a scumbag. Barry Kersher, the
36:18
Palm Beach state attorney who had initial jurisdiction over the
36:21
case in two thousand and six before the FBI took over,
36:24
has responded only recently to criticism. Acosta, at his Wednesday
36:29
news conference, seemed to put blam on Krisher for his
36:31
apparent attempt to let Epstein off the hook with just
36:34
a misdemeanor. It was only after then Palm Beach Police
36:38
Chief Michael Ryder wrote a public letter asking that Krisher
36:41
recused himself from the case. That the US Attorney's Office
36:44
and FBI assumed jurisdiction of the Epstein matter. Record show,
36:49
and that's because the whole thing was a shit show
36:51
down there. Nobody was doing the right thing, so Chief
36:54
Writer had to step up and make a move. Among
37:01
the issues raised by pom Beach police investigators is why
37:04
Chrisher's office presented only one survivor to the state grand
37:08
jury that her testimony when Palm Beach police, by that time,
37:12
had identified multiple girls who were molested by Epstein. Good question,
37:17
So why wasn't that the case? Why didn't all of
37:20
these girls get their minute in front of the grand jury?
37:26
Another concern when police rated Epstein's Palm Beach estate, they
37:30
found all his computers had been removed, suggesting that someone
37:33
in Krisher's office had tipped off Epstein about serge warrants. Now, look,
37:37
how many of these people who went to work for
37:39
Epstein were feeding him information before they went to work
37:42
for him. How about that? You want to run around
37:45
and talk about what ifs. How about that run home
37:48
and put that in your pipe and smoke it. USA today.
37:54
Jenouse Bonasayak, a butler for Epstein, testified in a civil
37:58
deposition years later that one of Epstein's assistants, Adrianna Ross,
38:02
and another unidentified man, were instructed in advance of the
38:06
arrival of Palm Beach police to remove multiple computers in
38:10
the house. Krisher never issued a subpoena for the computers,
38:13
even though it was known that they were in the
38:15
hands of Epstein's attorneys by that time. The lead detective,
38:19
Joseph Riccari told the Herald, why not? Why not? Why
38:24
wasn't all of this information seized and in the hands
38:27
of investigators? Once again, no chain of custody. How come
38:32
every single step along the way that has to do
38:34
with Epstein, from arresting him till his death is filled
38:38
with all of these inconsistencies, all of these terrible systemic failures.
38:44
Is it really all systemic failures? Or is it all
38:46
by design? I'll let you figure that out. Krisher has
38:52
not responded to requests from The Miami Herald for comment
38:55
about the case, but he did issue a statement in
38:57
response to Acosta's recollection of events, saying, mister Acosta should
39:02
not be allowed to rewrite history. None of you should
39:04
be nan one of you fools should be, and all
39:07
of you should lose your pensions. In the years following
39:14
the Florida FBI probe, several lawyers who represented Epstein's survivors,
39:18
as well as private investigator, filed complaints with the Justice
39:21
Department's Office of Professional Responsibility, claiming that Epstein's case may
39:26
have gone off the rails because he improperly influenced federal prosecutors.
39:31
That's the core of the issue, Okay, that's what we're
39:34
talking about. Why any of these prosecutors who ended up
39:39
working for Epstein or his associates would go on to
39:41
become judges or anything that has to do with the
39:45
law is fucking beyond me, okay, And anyone trying to
39:49
justify that or okay, it is really not looking for
39:53
justice in this case. And for a long time I've
39:56
just been willing to ignore that shit. I'm not going
39:58
to ignore it anymore. Tired of people pointing fingers at
40:01
other people talking about, oh, you're a biased or this
40:04
that the other thing when they have no desire to
40:06
really get to the meet and potatoes of the issue here,
40:09
and the meet and the potatoes is there was corruption
40:12
from the top folks. Okay, you don't want to hear it,
40:14
but that's the truth, all the way down from Muches's office.
40:18
At the very least, the highest levels of the Department
40:21
of Justice were involved here. One of those complaints filed
40:28
by Paul Cassel, a former federal judge in Utah who
40:31
represents Epstein's survivors, ended up in the hands of the
40:34
US Attorney's office in Puerto Rico. Reinhart said that the complaint,
40:38
which alleged Reinhart committed perjury in his affid David, was
40:41
fully investigated and they declined to pursue the matter. Reinhart said,
40:45
so again, why did this guy even become a judge?
40:47
I don't care about the Trump stuff whatever, that's for
40:51
other people to discuss. I'm not going to spend my
40:53
time yelling into the wind like everybody else does. My
40:56
question is why was this guy on the bench in
40:58
the first place with all of this around him? Is
41:01
this the sort of man that you want sitting on
41:03
the bench judicating cases? The Miami Herald submitted a Freedom
41:10
of Information Act request for the investigation, but the Justice
41:14
Department denied their request, so it's not clear to what
41:16
the investigation entailed. So again, before you run around and
41:21
you talk about conspiracy theories, point your finger at the
41:24
federal government and ask them why they're not being transparent.
41:27
Ask them why they're not giving out the proper amount
41:29
of information in this case that people are requesting through
41:32
the proper legal channels. Gagliano said it's common for federal
41:38
prosecutors to go into the private sector after serving in
41:41
the Justice Department, where they make modest salaries. Since Reinhardt
41:46
wasn't assigned the case, he could successfully argue that he
41:49
wasn't privy to anything other than panter over the water cooler,
41:53
said Gagliano, who is also a CNN Law enforcement analyst.
41:57
I mean, for real, and I guess you could make
42:00
that argument, but it's as ridiculous to me as arguing that, oh,
42:03
I didn't know what Jeffrey with Epstein was up to
42:06
before his first arrest. But the bottom line is, in
42:11
this scenario, I would recuse myself from any case that
42:14
my office handled. It may not be unethical, but there
42:17
is a perception of impropriety. Gagliano said, there's more than
42:21
that for me. And again, maybe it's that I'm cynical,
42:24
But every single person who played a part here in
42:26
making sure Epstein got off, and making sure Sarah Kell
42:29
and Vickers got off, and making sure that Adriana Ross
42:32
got off, and making sure that the rest of them
42:33
got off, I have a big problem with that. Besides
42:42
chrisher Lana Bellaholovac, the lead assistant prosecutor who oversaw Epstein's
42:47
sentencing in two thousand and eight, has been accused of
42:49
leading the sentencing judge, Deborah Dale Puccio, to believe that
42:54
Epstein's crimes involved only several victims and that those victims
42:58
had been notified and were satisfied with the plea arrangement.
43:02
And we know that's not the case. It's all been
43:05
a lie. Why were the prosecutors in Florida so in
43:08
the bag for Jeffrey Epstein and then they go and
43:10
work for him and bring in big ass paychecks. Yeah,
43:14
nothing untowards here, folks. That was not the case. Because
43:26
several of the survivors lawyers, including Robert C. Jofsberg, who
43:30
represented the woman whose case was at the heart of
43:33
the state charges that were brought, told the Herald that
43:36
they were never notified about Epstein's plea deal or sentencing.
43:40
So again, the prosecution completely disregarded the survivors and how
43:45
they feel and what their rights were. In February, Judge
43:50
Marrow ruled that the two thousand and eight deal was illegal,
43:53
finding that the survivors were not only kept in the dark,
43:56
but they were misled by prosecutors in violation of the
44:00
Crime Victim's Rights Act. So who's the asshole here? Okay?
44:05
Really people that are defending this judge Reinhart clown, or
44:09
people who are trying to point out the fact that
44:11
all of these people involved, not just this judge. By
44:14
the way, all of these people involved in this prosecution
44:17
should not hold any office any time after. There's no
44:22
repercussions for people that do this shit. So you can
44:25
just bounce from the prosecutor's office, go work for Epstein
44:28
and then get yourself handed a gavel and go sit
44:31
in some courtroom and be a modern day feudal lord
44:36
that sits well with you guys, not me, not me
44:39
at all, and I'm going to continue to voice my
44:41
concern about it. Bella Hoovlack, who no longer works for
44:48
the Palm Beach State Attorney's Office, and formed a Herald
44:50
reporter through an email from her employer, the State Attorney's
44:54
Office for Southwest Florida, that she would not be commenting
44:57
on the case. Nobody wants to comment. And again, and
45:00
you wonder why there's conspiracy theories out there, why people
45:02
are making up their own stories, This is why. So
45:06
you can blame the people who make up the conspiracies,
45:08
but you have to blame the government as well for
45:11
not doing their job and informing you of the facts.
45:18
Then there's Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw, who gave
45:21
Epstein work release even though his own department's policy explicitly
45:25
banned sex offenders from getting work release. Bradshaw has declined
45:28
to talk to The Miami Herald, but interviewed earlier this
45:32
year on sundial, a local radio program, Bradshaw claimed that
45:35
Epstein was not a sex offender when he was given
45:38
work release. Nah, not a sex offender. Epstein was a good,
45:41
old wholesome guy. You know, he was never in trouble
45:43
for anything. Hell of a guy that I would want
45:45
to leave my federal prosecutor's job for to go and
45:48
work for Sarah Kell and Vickers and have him pay
45:50
for it. However, the nature of his charges was well known,
45:57
and records obtained by The Herald show that Epstein signed
45:59
document It's at his sentencing acknowledging that he was a
46:02
sex offender and outlining all the requirements that go with
46:06
being a convicted sex offender. So they just straight up
46:09
lied to you this whole time, and everybody accepted it
46:12
for all of these years. Well, we're not accepting it anymore.
46:15
In the days of hiding behind political tribes and hiding
46:18
in bunkers, those days are over for me. It is
46:20
open season on everybody involved with Jeffrey Epstein. In a
46:27
wide ranging interview about various Sheriffs of Department issues on
46:30
Miami's WLRN in April, Bradshaw was asked about the department's
46:34
decision to allow Epstein to leave the county jails six
46:37
days a week. Epstein's private driver would pick him up
46:41
and take him to an office he had set up
46:43
in downtown West Palm Beach. In the same group of
46:45
sweets as his lawyer, Goldberg and Reinhardt. By the way,
46:49
Epstein spent up to ten hours a day at the
46:52
office with the sheriff's deputy stationed outside. Record show and
46:56
we know that those records were destroyed. By the way,
46:58
Why were those records destroyed? Why? What is there no
47:01
investigation into any of this? All we did was house him,
47:06
Bradshaw told Luis Hernandez, host of Sundial, we met the
47:09
criteria for work release. He was not adjudicated as a
47:12
violent sex offender. He wasn't even adjudicated as a sex offender,
47:16
which is a straight up lie. And that gets to
47:19
the heart of all of it. Folks. Everybody who's been
47:21
involved in this from day one has lied to you.
47:25
They have lied to you, straight up lied to you.
47:27
They've lied to you with lies of omission, and they've
47:30
lied to you about this Judge Reinhart's involvement as well.
47:33
And believe me, both sides have done it. You think
47:37
making a fake picture of Judge Reinhart on Epstein's plane
47:41
with Glenn Maxwell is doing the cause any good. You're
47:45
just as bad as people who are denying the fact
47:48
that Reinhardt had anything to do with helping Epstein's co conspirators.
47:54
There is enough sealaciousness here where you don't need to
47:57
make shit up. There are enough people involved in heinous
48:01
acts that we don't have to go down that route.
48:05
And I'm not saying that there aren't some weird things
48:07
that need to be investigated that could be quote unquote
48:10
considered conspiracy theories. But here on this podcast, it's not
48:15
about what I know. It's about what I feel like
48:18
I can prove. And for me, the proof is in
48:21
the pudding that any prosecutor who was working on Jeffrey
48:24
Epstein's case should not become a judge. All right, folks,
