Transcript
- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, Welcome back to the bonus episode of You
- 0:09Speaker 1: Give Them All a Podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: If you listen to Wednesday's episode, you guys know.
- 0:14Speaker 1: That today I am addressing any questions I guess, the
- 0:19Speaker 1: top questions that you guys have had for me throughout
- 0:23Speaker 1: the course of season eleven. I know that many of
- 0:27Speaker 1: you have said that I surround myself with yes people.
- 0:32Speaker 2: That is not true.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I have a lot of people in my circle who
- 0:38Speaker 1: are tremendous support systems. But when I look back on
- 0:42Speaker 1: my life, especially starting season four to where I am now,
- 0:48Speaker 1: a lot has happened in my world. I've gotten sober,
- 0:52Speaker 1: I've gone through a really tough breakup. I've handled myself
- 0:58Speaker 1: in a very eloquent way, and then I've burned that
- 1:01Speaker 1: to the ground. Many of time, you don't go through
- 1:07Speaker 1: the types of changes like I've gone through in my life,
- 1:11Speaker 1: the evolution that I've gone through in my life, what
- 1:14Speaker 1: we call I guess in Hollywood or TV biz a
- 1:19Speaker 1: character arc. You don't go through the one that I've
- 1:25Speaker 1: had being surrounded by yes people.
- 1:27Speaker 2: You just don't.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm proud of where I am. I am still human
- 1:33Speaker 1: and make many mistakes. I'm okay with that, I'm not
- 1:38Speaker 1: too proud to admit that there are times where I
- 1:42Speaker 1: go Damn, I've had a really humbling moment just now.
- 1:45Speaker 1: They happened to me all the time, and it's never
- 1:49Speaker 1: going to change that. I will always continue being my
- 1:52Speaker 1: biggest fan, because if I don't continue to practice self
- 1:59Speaker 1: love and self support, I can go into a dark place.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So I do have many people around me who support me,
- 2:07Speaker 1: but they check me a lot, and I'm grateful for
- 2:11Speaker 1: that today because I've been told I'm surrounded by yes people.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have pulled producer John, who you guys know from
- 2:20Speaker 1: the regular episodes. He's going to ask me the questions
- 2:26Speaker 1: again I've been off social media. I had him come
- 2:30Speaker 1: through all of the top questions. He wrote them down.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Unless it's a RAMS game, he's not tuning in. So
- 2:38Speaker 1: he became aware of La La Kent when my home
- 2:42Speaker 1: podcast network said Hey, you'll be producing a show called
- 2:45Speaker 1: Give Them Lala and he's like the RAMS What So.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Here's producer John.
- 2:52Speaker 1: He does not know much about anything but sports and
- 2:56Speaker 1: the podcast that we do together, but as far as VPR,
- 2:59Speaker 1: he's an outsider.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Welcome John.
- 3:02Speaker 3: It feels great to be on camera. Holy moly, I
- 3:05Speaker 3: have a beaniance, so none of you guys are gonna
- 3:06Speaker 3: get blinded by this bald head.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So we love it. He's not a yes man.
- 3:10Speaker 1: He's just gonna simply ask the top questions that y'all
- 3:13Speaker 1: have asked throughout season eleven.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I will answer in my truth and we'll move on.
- 3:19Speaker 3: All right, let's ride. Number one. Are you upset bpr
- 3:22Speaker 3: is paused?
- 3:24Speaker 1: No, I'm quite the opposite. I feel like I need
- 3:29Speaker 1: a break. I feel like the rest of my cast
- 3:31Speaker 1: needs a break. As much as I love filming the show,
- 3:35Speaker 1: it can become very volatile. We are I'm hyper sensitive
- 3:41Speaker 1: and emotional, especially being pregnant. To be honest, when I
- 3:45Speaker 1: heard we were paused, it was like an elephant lifted
- 3:48Speaker 1: off of my chest because it was like, I get
- 3:51Speaker 1: to create a very peaceful environment for this new baby
- 3:55Speaker 1: that I'm bringing into the world, and I just feel
- 3:58Speaker 1: like it's meant to be.
- 4:00Speaker 3: All right, let's move on. Number two. Are you trying
- 4:02Speaker 3: to get on the valley? You bought a house there.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I have not had any conversations about entering the valley.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I have had no thought about going on the valley.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I bought a house in the Valley because I could
- 4:16Speaker 1: not afford a home that was large enough for my
- 4:19Speaker 1: family with a yard in the flats of Beverly Hills.
- 4:23Speaker 1: When you're ready to be a homeowner and you make
- 4:26Speaker 1: what me or my friends.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Make, you move to the valley.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's just what you do. There was nothing behind it
- 4:32Speaker 1: except this is what we can afford, and it's a
- 4:35Speaker 1: beautiful space for my family. We're suburban people.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Now, I guess, welcome to the Valley.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Next question, did you really pitch your own spinoff?
- 4:44Speaker 1: I have never pitched a spin off about my life.
- 4:48Speaker 3: No, all right, let's move on to the next one.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Did you get pregnant for a storyline?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Is that really a question?
- 4:54Speaker 3: That is a question? I got it right here.
- 5:00Speaker 2: The thing about like, I don't. I don't even know
- 5:02Speaker 2: how to answer this because it's.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Such an absurd thing to say someone to say, like
- 5:08Speaker 1: a storyline.
- 5:09Speaker 2: This show we filmed two months out of the year.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It would be crazy of me to go and prep
- 5:18Speaker 1: my body and get a donor and choose single motherhood
- 5:23Speaker 1: for the next eighteen But really probably twenty one, twenty two,
- 5:28Speaker 1: twenty five, thirty, who the fuck knows forever? To have
- 5:33Speaker 1: one season of a storyline. It just wouldn't make much sense. No,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I love being a mom more than anything. I wanted
- 5:42Speaker 1: to give my daughter a sibling. I knew that I
- 5:45Speaker 1: wanted them close in age, and I feel so grateful
- 5:50Speaker 1: that I was able to bring a baby into the
- 5:54Speaker 1: worlds and not have a partner. It's like the best
- 5:57Speaker 1: of both worlds that is sold to meet and what
- 6:01Speaker 1: people are saying, But it also doesn't it tracks because
- 6:06Speaker 1: there's many people on Bravo Mauricio and Kyle, for example,
- 6:11Speaker 1: They're staging their breakup for a storyline. They're changing the
- 6:15Speaker 1: dynamic of their family in twenty seven years of marriage
- 6:18Speaker 1: for a storyline.
- 6:19Speaker 2: It's absolutely absurd. No, I am not bringing.
- 6:23Speaker 1: A child into the world stretching my body in all
- 6:27Speaker 1: different ways for a story. Wow, Oh, I'm sweating wants.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Some people say that, ye all right.
- 6:39Speaker 3: All right. Next question, why do you feel your situation
- 6:42Speaker 3: is so different than Ariana Randal versus Tom You yourself
- 6:46Speaker 3: said they are both dangerous.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I think I have a way of pulling things from
- 6:53Speaker 1: my situation and applying them to things that make sense.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And there were things about the cheating part of my
- 7:03Speaker 1: situation with my ex that really triggered me when it
- 7:08Speaker 1: came to Tom Sandoval to say that Tom Sandoval and
- 7:14Speaker 1: my ex are the same person. No, the way that
- 7:19Speaker 1: they moved with creeping around on myself and Ariana, there
- 7:22Speaker 1: were many things that were running parallel. It's difficult with
- 7:27Speaker 1: my situation because I want to say eighty percent of
- 7:32Speaker 1: the information I can't share. I just can't. I can't
- 7:36Speaker 1: talk about it. If you guys want to google, if
- 7:39Speaker 1: you want to look things up, You're more than welcome to.
- 7:43Speaker 1: There are things and reasons for my hardlines. There are
- 7:47Speaker 1: reasons for me entering a custody battle, and I'm just
- 7:51Speaker 1: going to leave it there.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Enough said, all right, are you jealous of Arianna because
- 7:57Speaker 3: of the way people rallied for her and not for you?
- 8:00Speaker 2: When my.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Situation happened with my ex, I was so blindsided that
- 8:10Speaker 1: just putting one foot in front of the other, simply
- 8:13Speaker 1: waking up was like a huge win for me. There
- 8:19Speaker 1: are times that people have said, it must have been
- 8:24Speaker 1: so difficult to go through what you were going through
- 8:29Speaker 1: in public, And honestly, I didn't even realize I was
- 8:33Speaker 1: going through it in public because it wasn't a breakup
- 8:36Speaker 1: that I was going through I was going into a battle.
- 8:43Speaker 2: For ocean.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And as time passed and I did like the season
- 8:50Speaker 1: nine reunion, which was very difficult. That was just a
- 8:55Speaker 1: couple weeks after I had left my situation and was
- 9:02Speaker 1: overwhelmed with information and knowing like why I have to
- 9:06Speaker 1: protect my seven month old.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And then seeing people say like you deserved this, This
- 9:17Speaker 2: is your karma.
- 9:19Speaker 1: When you see things like that or hear things like
- 9:21Speaker 1: that and you're looking at your baby, you develop like
- 9:34Speaker 1: a different strength in that moment.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It's wild.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And I truly wouldn't wish that upon anybody. That time
- 9:48Speaker 1: in my life was nothing short of torture, mental torture.
- 9:58Speaker 1: When everything happened with Ariana, I was thrilled to see
- 10:04Speaker 1: the audience rally around her. Do I wish I would
- 10:09Speaker 1: have gotten that, Yeah, that would have been really, really nice,
- 10:13Speaker 1: But I didn't. And I'm okay to ask if I'm
- 10:18Speaker 1: jealous of Arianna. I find her to be extremely talented.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I enjoyed watching her on Broadway. I truly believe that's
- 10:30Speaker 1: where she deserves to be. She has proven herself tremendously
- 10:33Speaker 1: in that space, and I stand by that. I also
- 10:37Speaker 1: stand by the fact that she made film me, a
- 10:40Speaker 1: television show that we've been filming, some of them eleven years,
- 10:44Speaker 1: ME eight extremely.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Difficult this year.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And I don't hold that against her, because it was
- 10:51Speaker 1: funky for all of us. We were all in unchartered waters,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and I wasn't trying to be tough on her or
- 11:00Speaker 1: make her move along in this process quicker. But I
- 11:06Speaker 1: knew we were filming a TV show, and just like
- 11:10Speaker 1: Lisa vander pump had drilled me in her kitchen about
- 11:13Speaker 1: my situation, did I enjoy that?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Not at all?
- 11:18Speaker 1: But I knew we were filming a show, and I
- 11:20Speaker 1: knew there were people out there in the audience who
- 11:23Speaker 1: were going to wonder these things. So with Arianna, when
- 11:27Speaker 1: filming a television show, I asked her the things that
- 11:31Speaker 1: I felt the audience may want to know. I, in
- 11:36Speaker 1: no way, shape or form, was trying to move her
- 11:39Speaker 1: along in a process. I was not upset about the
- 11:42Speaker 1: opportunities that she was getting. I was not mad that
- 11:45Speaker 1: she got so much love all of those things.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I was thrilled for her about. That is fact.
- 11:52Speaker 1: It's also fact that filming a show with her this
- 11:56Speaker 1: year was very, very hard.
- 12:00Speaker 3: All right, Next question, why the hypocrisy? When it comes
- 12:03Speaker 3: to setting boundaries and respecting them. For example, you told
- 12:06Speaker 3: Katie she didn't need to understand your life, but felt
- 12:08Speaker 3: the need to understand Ariana's.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like that's a completely valid question,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and Ariana was right in talking about her boundaries and
- 12:18Speaker 1: saying that I didn't need to understand them. She's absolutely correct.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You're allowed to set boundaries. It doesn't matter if I
- 12:25Speaker 1: understand them. It's her life. I was simply asked, answering
- 12:29Speaker 1: the question that Andy asked me and film me at
- 12:31Speaker 1: TV show.
- 12:33Speaker 3: And what exactly was your storyline this season? Given it's
- 12:36Speaker 3: all you talked about, while also saying Ariana brought nothing.
- 12:43Speaker 1: This season was extremely difficult. None of us were really
- 12:46Speaker 1: able to have a storyline. We had to talk about this.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It wasn't even a divide in the group, like this
- 12:53Speaker 1: had demolished the group. I don't even know how to
- 12:58Speaker 1: answer that question, because so many times there were a
- 13:02Speaker 1: lot of us who tried to push past talking about this,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and we simply couldn't.
- 13:08Speaker 2: We couldn't.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I mean, my life at this point in time, I
- 13:15Speaker 1: was wanting to have a baby. I was going down
- 13:19Speaker 1: a path of healing and sinking into what my reality is,
- 13:23Speaker 1: trying to let go of a lot of anger. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: I think you saw at the beginning of the season.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know where I lose it on Sandoval on the
- 13:29Speaker 1: boat and I have to catch myself.
- 13:32Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:32Speaker 1: The triggers for me run very, very deep, and if
- 13:37Speaker 1: I don't start checking myself, and I've said this during
- 13:42Speaker 1: the season, I'm gonna end up in a.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Really bad spot.
- 13:46Speaker 1: So I don't know what people want me to say.
- 13:51Speaker 1: As far as what my storyline was, I showed up.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I was willing to talk about anything and everything. Unfortunately,
- 14:00Speaker 1: least something that Tom Sandoval did destroyed the dynamic of
- 14:04Speaker 1: the group. And unfortunately, and fortunately we film a television
- 14:09Speaker 1: show based on this group. There was no avoiding the conversation.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I also would have liked to have moved on. Many
- 14:18Speaker 1: of us wanted to move on. We tried to move
- 14:20Speaker 1: the needle. It was hard, and I think that most
- 14:25Speaker 1: people will not understand because they don't film a show.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Their lives are not a show. When you have to
- 14:33Speaker 1: combine the two, it really is fucking hard, especially when
- 14:39Speaker 1: something as traumatic as Scanned of All happens in a
- 14:44Speaker 1: group of people who have known each other a decade plus,
- 14:47Speaker 1: been filming a show for eleven years. It was challenging,
- 14:51Speaker 1: and the fact that we pulled it off eighteen episodes
- 14:57Speaker 1: fucking wild to me.
- 15:00Speaker 3: From last season to this season is so confusing. Why
- 15:03Speaker 3: would you go after Tom that way in the reunion
- 15:06Speaker 3: and then ride so hard for him this season?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Well, Number one, I didn't ride for him so hard
- 15:13Speaker 1: at all. I didn't show up to any of his
- 15:16Speaker 1: events that he invited me to. I simply practiced compassion
- 15:22Speaker 1: and acknowledged that a.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Human being was a human being.
- 15:27Speaker 1: And it's wild that I was actually lit on fire
- 15:33Speaker 1: because of it.
- 15:34Speaker 2: This season.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I did not jump on the Tom sand of All
- 15:38Speaker 1: train in any way, shape or form. I acknowledged where
- 15:43Speaker 1: I wanted to be in my life mentally and emotionally,
- 15:47Speaker 1: knowing that I was going to bring a child into
- 15:50Speaker 1: the world and I wanted to be in a healthy space.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I did that all for me.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I think people are fixating on the Tom Sands of
- 16:00Speaker 1: all of it. Take Tom out, insert someone else, it
- 16:04Speaker 1: doesn't matter. This was my journey of healing. You're gonna
- 16:10Speaker 1: see me switch up a lot. That's how life works.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I don't just pop up on your screen once a year,
- 16:20Speaker 1: for fifteen weeks, for ten minutes.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Max, I live a life every single.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Day from the time I wake up to the time
- 16:28Speaker 1: I go to bed and we start over, and I
- 16:30Speaker 1: experience different things during those days that shape me differently,
- 16:36Speaker 1: make me look at life differently. When I have this baby,
- 16:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna look at life differently. I'm changing every single day.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So while I understand the audience feels like the reunion happened,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and then the next day that's what I was acting like.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Time had passed for me.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I was not directly affected by scandabal Arianna, and I
- 17:00Speaker 1: felt for her, but my life had kept moving. And
- 17:07Speaker 1: I am not someone who is friends with Tom Sandoval.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I wasn't friends with him before this happened. I most
- 17:17Speaker 1: certainly wouldn't be friends with him after this happened. And
- 17:22Speaker 1: there were many times this season that he did invite
- 17:24Speaker 1: me to his concerts, the hangouts. I didn't go to
- 17:32Speaker 1: any of them because number one, it wouldn't make sense.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I would never go if we weren't filming a show.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And number two, even though I had questions for Ariana,
- 17:43Speaker 1: because that's just what we do in this environment that
- 17:47Speaker 1: we've been doing for many years. I would always pick
- 17:50Speaker 1: her still right now, us not seeing eye to eye.
- 17:57Speaker 1: If you said pick Sand of aal or Ariana, it's
- 18:00Speaker 1: a no brainer.
- 18:02Speaker 3: That brings me to my next question. Good segue right there.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Why did you really unfollow Katie and Arianna? Are you
- 18:08Speaker 3: really not friends anymore or not on speaking terms again?
- 18:11Speaker 1: I think that time does very crazy things. When I
- 18:16Speaker 1: think about time, I always, for some reason go back
- 18:20Speaker 1: to my dad. And it was like one day I
- 18:25Speaker 1: had a dad, and in a matter of seconds I didn't,
- 18:28Speaker 1: And then I spiraled for a really long time, and
- 18:32Speaker 1: time passed and I have healed a lot. Something that
- 18:38Speaker 1: you feel like you can never come back from, you
- 18:40Speaker 1: suddenly come back from.
- 18:42Speaker 2: That's what time does.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So I'm not going to say that I would never
- 18:46Speaker 1: be friends with them again. What I do know is
- 18:49Speaker 1: this season was very tough for me. I felt like
- 18:54Speaker 1: there were moments where I was being I was having
- 18:58Speaker 1: people come at things that had nothing to do with
- 19:00Speaker 1: the show. Right it got dark, and there are things
- 19:05Speaker 1: that I do sometimes to kind of bring me back
- 19:09Speaker 1: to the light. And if one of those things happens
- 19:13Speaker 1: to be unfollowing people who don't really make me feel
- 19:17Speaker 1: good in the moment, I'm going to do that, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: I think anybody and everybody should exercise doing whatever they
- 19:27Speaker 1: need in the moment to feel good. You don't need
- 19:30Speaker 1: to explain it to anybody unless you're doing this podcast.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But like, I just wanted to feel good for a moment.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I mean, this season, I was really being obliterated. It
- 19:43Speaker 1: was very loud, and I'm used to having seasons where
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm not people's favorite, but the amount of hate that
- 19:51Speaker 1: I was getting this season that had nothing to do
- 19:54Speaker 1: with what was being shown on TV, it was a lot,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and it really hurts my feelings. So if I needed
- 20:02Speaker 1: to delete social media and unfrint a few people on
- 20:06Speaker 1: Instagram to keep me where the light is, especially being pregnant,
- 20:12Speaker 1: then that's what I'm gonna do.
- 20:14Speaker 3: You claim to be a girl's girl, Why can't you
- 20:16Speaker 3: support Ariana?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I don't know when I've claimed to be a girls girl.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Do I prefer chicks over men?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Hell?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah, But that doesn't mean that just because you're a girl,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I blindly go into this and support you. I mean,
- 20:31Speaker 1: for the most part, the people who are dragging me
- 20:34Speaker 1: down to the depths of hell this season have all
- 20:37Speaker 1: been women who don't know me. So do I prefer
- 20:42Speaker 1: women over men, Yes, But to call me a girl's girl,
- 20:47Speaker 1: I don't know that I've ever said that I'm a
- 20:50Speaker 1: girl's girl. I think people labeled me a feminist after
- 20:53Speaker 1: season six where I was like, pussy runs everything, and
- 20:57Speaker 1: I do believe that.
- 20:58Speaker 2: But just because you or.
- 21:01Speaker 1: A woman does not mean that like I'm gonna mess
- 21:04Speaker 1: with you, because, like I said, it's women who really
- 21:10Speaker 1: try to like bring me down pretty hardcore and they
- 21:13Speaker 1: don't even know me.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Were you a production puppet this season because you thought
- 21:18Speaker 3: you were going to be rewarded.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I've been in this game a long time. You're not
- 21:24Speaker 1: rewarded for things like that. There's a tear system in place.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I went in and I was authentic and things that
- 21:33Speaker 1: didn't make sense to me. I asked questions if I
- 21:37Speaker 1: felt it, I said it like I said, I will
- 21:40Speaker 1: always have an opinion. It's what allows me to go
- 21:42Speaker 1: in and make TV. And I'm happy the audience has
- 21:44Speaker 1: an opinion because they are what makes it so that
- 21:47Speaker 1: we can have a successful show. Without us both having
- 21:50Speaker 1: an opinion, there's no show to be discussed. I have
- 21:55Speaker 1: never been anyone's puppet. The audience knows me. I know
- 22:00Speaker 1: that I can change up quick. I ask questions if
- 22:05Speaker 1: things don't make sense, I can go from slicing you
- 22:09Speaker 1: with my words to being putty in your hand.
- 22:11Speaker 2: It is what it is. This is the way I've
- 22:12Speaker 2: been since I was a young kid.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I went into this season like I go into every
- 22:16Speaker 1: single season. This is how I feel, and people can
- 22:21Speaker 1: try to change my mind. I'm open to, like I said,
- 22:24Speaker 1: healthy debates, healthy conversations. I love not seeing eye to
- 22:28Speaker 1: eye with people because it opens such fun, intense conversations,
- 22:33Speaker 1: and I thrive off of environments like that, which is
- 22:36Speaker 1: why I keep exposing myself to reality television because I
- 22:40Speaker 1: enjoy it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I've never been anyone's puppet, and I certainly was in
- 22:45Speaker 2: this season.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Why did you feel the need to disclose a private
- 22:48Speaker 3: conversation with Katie that happened off camera and bring your
- 22:51Speaker 3: conva with Arianna where she apologized.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Back up, The conversation that I had with Katie was
- 22:56Speaker 1: not private. These were things she had said to production,
- 23:02Speaker 1: and the phone call that I was referring to production
- 23:05Speaker 1: was on the phone. She has been a part of
- 23:08Speaker 1: this show since its conception. She knows the drill. It's
- 23:12Speaker 1: always been the same. It's been the same in my
- 23:14Speaker 1: eight years of doing it. That conversation that I brought
- 23:17Speaker 1: up had to do with production, and she knows that.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The second what was the second part of the question and.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Why did you bring your convo with Arianna where she
- 23:29Speaker 3: apologized back up?
- 23:31Speaker 1: Because there are things that I've apologized for many times
- 23:33Speaker 1: where they bring a flashback up. I mean the amount
- 23:38Speaker 1: of times I've seen me getting my hair done, talking
- 23:42Speaker 1: about the range drover I got after letting someone hit
- 23:45Speaker 1: it the first night, or me calling my excess stand
- 23:48Speaker 1: up guy. I mean, I've seen this flashback more times
- 23:52Speaker 1: than I ever cared to see ever in my life,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and I wanted it to be a fair playing fields.
- 24:01Speaker 2: You may have apologized.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I've apologized for things too, but I'm still held accountable.
- 24:07Speaker 1: So it was my way of kind of saying, like,
- 24:09Speaker 1: can we get a flashback that Ariana has not always.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Been this perfect girl's girl.
- 24:16Speaker 1: She didn't acknowledge me at all when I had a
- 24:19Speaker 1: party to celebrate the longevity of the Give Them La
- 24:23Speaker 1: La brand. She has openly stood there while Tom Sandoval,
- 24:30Speaker 1: her then boyfriend, had belittled and degraded people like me,
- 24:34Speaker 1: people like Stacy, and she also watched Charlie laugh at
- 24:40Speaker 1: me when she was saying that I basically wasn't a
- 24:43Speaker 1: good enough gold digger.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Where are the flashbacks, y'all?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Do flashbacks to me in my not proud moments that
- 24:51Speaker 1: I've apologized for.
- 24:52Speaker 2: All the time. Can we get the flashback?
- 24:55Speaker 1: So I was happy to see that they did the flashback,
- 24:57Speaker 1: and I was also happy to see that they put
- 24:59Speaker 1: an her apology.
- 25:02Speaker 2: That was it.
- 25:02Speaker 1: It was that simple. We're all going to get flashbacks.
- 25:05Speaker 1: None of us are going to forget our past. Let's
- 25:08Speaker 1: have a level playing field.
- 25:11Speaker 3: If you don't care about Katie's business, why should she
- 25:14Speaker 3: care about yours.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I care tremendously about Katie's business. I have done nothing
- 25:21Speaker 1: but support something about her since they came up with
- 25:25Speaker 1: the idea. Again, these were things that she had spoken
- 25:31Speaker 1: to production about and me, and we're filming a show
- 25:34Speaker 1: something about her was conceived on vander Pump Rules finale,
- 25:40Speaker 1: season nine.
- 25:41Speaker 2: These were the.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Same types of conversations that Tom Sandbal and Tom Schwartz
- 25:46Speaker 1: had to have about Schwartz and Sandy's So I felt
- 25:52Speaker 1: like what she had said to production and myself and
- 25:55Speaker 1: then decided last minute that she didn't want to do
- 25:59Speaker 1: any of that. She was worried about her business. I
- 26:02Speaker 1: didn't feel like anything she was saying would destroy the business.
- 26:09Speaker 1: They were completely valid things that she was saying. It
- 26:14Speaker 1: just doesn't it didn't make sense to me. I could
- 26:18Speaker 1: see if I said, you need to bring these things
- 26:20Speaker 1: up because I want to fuck with your business. I
- 26:22Speaker 1: want to burn it to the ground, because she literally
- 26:24Speaker 1: said that on the phone to me. If you're gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: fuck with my business, I'm gonna fuck with yours. And
- 26:29Speaker 1: I did feel at that point in time that there
- 26:31Speaker 1: was no business to speak of that she had. Mine
- 26:35Speaker 1: was actually supporting my family is supporting my family. I
- 26:41Speaker 1: just didn't understand, like why she couldn't have conversations that
- 26:45Speaker 1: I've watched the Toms have many times, and they opened
- 26:48Speaker 1: a very successful bar and we're filming a TV show.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I just didn't understand, like how the game had changed
- 26:57Speaker 1: and Schwartzy has come for my business before everyone knows
- 27:00Speaker 1: how that ends. I almost Teresa judaize the table on
- 27:03Speaker 1: Tom Schwartz when he tried to clown on my business
- 27:07Speaker 1: that was on TV.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Do you think you're a bad friend?
- 27:12Speaker 1: I think I'm a friend. I don't think I'm a
- 27:15Speaker 1: great friend. I don't think i'm a good friend. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: think I'm a friend. I'm thirty three years old. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 1: past the point of being in the sandbox saying you're
- 27:25Speaker 1: my best friend. I have a family. I'm always gonna
- 27:29Speaker 1: pick them over you. I can call you on the
- 27:32Speaker 1: phone here and there, send you some text messages, let
- 27:35Speaker 1: you know I'm proud of you. But if you're looking
- 27:38Speaker 1: for someone to really be blindly loyal and show up
- 27:42Speaker 1: and be a best friend, I'm not it. And I
- 27:45Speaker 1: also don't expect that from my friends. My priorities are different.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I have a baby, I got a mama, I got
- 27:51Speaker 1: a brother. We all live together, like I have my pod.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So if you're going to be a friend who's needy
- 27:59Speaker 1: and needs things for me, that's going to take away
- 28:01Speaker 1: from my pod. Like I'm not the friend for you.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I have no problem saying that I'm a friend. If
- 28:09Speaker 1: you're looking for a great friend or a bad friend,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I'm in the middle.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I'm just the friend.
- 28:16Speaker 3: What is your biggest regret from this season? There is
- 28:19Speaker 3: a change in your energy and approach. What happened?
- 28:24Speaker 1: I think a lot of things happened. I think season ten,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I came off very angry, and by the way, the
- 28:32Speaker 1: only reason why it was validated was because scandival happened.
- 28:38Speaker 1: It was like, oh, well, it makes perfect sense, you know,
- 28:41Speaker 1: had Scannaval not happened. I was looked at that season
- 28:44Speaker 1: is angry and bitter. This season, I'm acting the way
- 28:48Speaker 1: everyone wanted me to act season ten. The problem is
- 28:51Speaker 1: is I was dealing with a lot of trauma season ten,
- 28:55Speaker 1: sand or Scannaval happens and it's like, oh shit, the
- 28:58Speaker 1: perfect storm.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Everything I was saying I was being vindicated on.
- 29:03Speaker 1: When you have downtime and you come off of the
- 29:06Speaker 1: high and you realize, I'm in a custody battle still,
- 29:10Speaker 1: I want more children, and the plan was to have
- 29:13Speaker 1: more children now, and the plan was that the custody
- 29:15Speaker 1: battle was going to be wrapped up, and the plan
- 29:17Speaker 1: was X, Y, and Z, And you realize the plan
- 29:22Speaker 1: has still not happened.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So what do you do.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You crawl into a hole, you continue to be angry,
- 29:28Speaker 1: you continue to put your life on hold, or you
- 29:31Speaker 1: say fuck it, I'm taking my life into my own
- 29:35Speaker 1: hands and I'm gonna be a grown ass woman and
- 29:37Speaker 1: I'm going to handle my shit with ocean and handle
- 29:40Speaker 1: this custody battle and remain hopefules as fuck. I'm gonna
- 29:43Speaker 1: heal my heart so that I can go out and
- 29:47Speaker 1: have fun and laugh and be around straight men and
- 29:49Speaker 1: date at some point. And I'm also going to bring
- 29:52Speaker 1: another baby into the world, and you know what, We're
- 29:54Speaker 1: going to create a beautiful environment and show my kids,
- 29:58Speaker 1: my two little girls, that you can go through some.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Real shit.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Where you think you're gonna be taken out and still
- 30:11Speaker 1: find a way to live like a really, really.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Meaningful, incredible life, and not only have that, but do
- 30:18Speaker 2: it all on camera.
- 30:21Speaker 1: With so many people judging the way that you choose
- 30:24Speaker 1: to process, the way you choose to move through life.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And by the way, this isn't just me Ariana goes
- 30:34Speaker 1: through it, Tom Sandoval Sena.
- 30:36Speaker 2: We're all going through it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: And even though we don't see eye to eye right now,
- 30:40Speaker 1: like there's a bond between all of us because we
- 30:44Speaker 1: all know what it's like to be brave enough to
- 30:46Speaker 1: live this shit in real life, but on camera it's
- 30:51Speaker 1: such a wild ride. But I'm extremely proud of what
- 30:58Speaker 1: I have done from the time I entered this show
- 31:02Speaker 1: to where I am now, and I want my cast
- 31:06Speaker 1: to be proud of where they are too. I'm glad
- 31:09Speaker 1: the audience has opinions.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I love that.
- 31:12Speaker 1: That's why we get to make a show. And even
- 31:15Speaker 1: though my cast and I may not be fucking with
- 31:19Speaker 1: each other right now, that will never take away from
- 31:22Speaker 1: the fact that I truly respect each and every one
- 31:25Speaker 1: of them, because this is not easy. My loves there
- 31:31Speaker 1: was the non yes man asking all of the top
- 31:36Speaker 1: questions that you guys had for season eleven. I want
- 31:41Speaker 1: to thank you guys for watching. I know it was
- 31:45Speaker 1: a wild ride, but I hope that you enjoyed this season.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I'm grateful for you guys. I'm grateful for a summer off.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed this episode of the Give Them
- 31:56Speaker 1: Lalla Podcast. And now I would truly like to put
- 31:58Speaker 1: season eleven behind me and incubate this new baby girl
- 32:05Speaker 1: that I have growing inside, who is a fighter. I
- 32:10Speaker 1: will say, she's kicking and punching and she's doing well,
- 32:14Speaker 1: and I'm just it's wild that it was such an
- 32:18Speaker 1: intense season, but I am the happiest that I have
- 32:21Speaker 1: ever been in my life. And to experience those two
- 32:25Speaker 1: things at once and have them coexisting has been a trip.
- 32:31Speaker 1: So I love you guys, and I will catch you
- 32:33Speaker 1: next week.
