- 0:07Speaker 1: well it's Monday. There's a lot going on. We'll get
- 0:10Speaker 1: you caught up on everything. We'll get the latest Don Iran.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We'll get to Eric Swalwell, it's over for him. We'll
- 0:16Speaker 1: get to a mom Donnie in a silly grocery store.
- 0:19Speaker 1: We'll get to Bruce Blakeman, next Governor of New York.
- 0:23Speaker 1: We'll get to Artemis, the space craft and the astronauts.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We'll get to the Masters and a whole lot more.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We'll get to Kamala Harris became the laughing stock of
- 0:34Speaker 1: the Internet on Saturday. We'll explain why. So as we
- 0:39Speaker 1: speak right now, blockade is beginning. President Trump has decided
- 0:43Speaker 1: to put up a blockade on the straits of Hormouse.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Now most people just casual watches of the news. You know,
- 0:52Speaker 1: they watched the evening news and they quickly read the paper.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You're a victim of fake news. You've been given a
- 0:59Speaker 1: false impressure. And if you watch the Sunday shows, they
- 1:02Speaker 1: really go out of their way to just totally mislead
- 1:04Speaker 1: the public. Couple of things you got to know. Fact,
- 1:08Speaker 1: we get no oil out of the straits of Hormoose.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We don't need it for anything. It could be closed
- 1:12Speaker 1: forever and it doesn't affect the United States. If it's closed,
- 1:17Speaker 1: if it's blockaded, if it's closed, it completely screws up Iran.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's their only source of revenue. Oil. That's all they do.
- 1:25Speaker 1: They sell oil, and if the Straits of Hormose are blocked,
- 1:29Speaker 1: they can't sell any oil and they've got zero revenue
- 1:33Speaker 1: coming in. It also screws up China. They are heavily
- 1:37Speaker 1: dependent on Iranian oil, so it really messes up China.
- 1:43Speaker 1: That's one reason we're not rushing to get it open.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Now here's another fact. We can open the Straits of
- 1:47Speaker 1: Hormoose at any time, anytime we feel like it. It's
- 1:51Speaker 1: an easy thing to do militarily. We've got the plan
- 1:55Speaker 1: on how to open it. Admiral Cooper Scentcom could execute
- 1:58Speaker 1: that in a second soon as he gets the go ahead,
- 2:00Speaker 1: could totally open the Straits of Hormose. We're not going
- 2:04Speaker 1: to do that for a while because the longer it's closed,
- 2:06Speaker 1: the more it hurts China. It completely takes all revenue
- 2:10Speaker 1: away from Iran. And also it helps the United States.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Not only don't we need that oil. But if the
- 2:17Speaker 1: Straits of Hormoose are closed, it actually helps us. We
- 2:21Speaker 1: make more money because if it's closed Europe, India, many
- 2:26Speaker 1: countries that are totally dependent on that oil now have
- 2:30Speaker 1: to buy from the United States. We are actually oil
- 2:33Speaker 1: rich right now. We've got more oil than we need.
- 2:35Speaker 1: We're an exporter of oil now. In fact, right now
- 2:37Speaker 1: we're the biggest exporter of oil in the world. So
- 2:40Speaker 1: as long as the Straits of Hormose are closed, a
- 2:43Speaker 1: lot of these countries who used to buy that oil
- 2:46Speaker 1: now have to buy it from us. And they're also
- 2:49Speaker 1: thinking that after a while, they're going to start to realize,
- 2:52Speaker 1: you know what, this is a better supplier Straits of
- 2:56Speaker 1: Hormose Iranian oil. There's always a risk something could go
- 2:58Speaker 1: wrong in other wars. We're safe for buying US oil.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So this is benefiting us greatly. The blockade will go
- 3:06Speaker 1: into place, they have to clear the mines out and
- 3:09Speaker 1: all of that. We've got all kinds of it used
- 3:11Speaker 1: to be a big thing worrying about mines and the
- 3:13Speaker 1: shipping lane, but we've got all kinds of technology now,
- 3:16Speaker 1: all kinds of new mind detectors. We didn't have before.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We've got underwater drones, all sorts of stuff that we
- 3:22Speaker 1: didn't have before, we weren't able to use. Here's President Trump.
- 3:25Speaker 2: They probably have a couple of mines in the water.
- 3:27Speaker 2: We have mine sweepers out there. We're sweeping these straight.
- 3:32Speaker 2: In addition to that one negotiating. Whether we make a
- 3:35Speaker 2: deal or not, it makes no difference to me.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so we were clearing the minds out. We've had
- 3:41Speaker 1: US warships going through the straits of horn Moose all
- 3:44Speaker 1: weekend just checking it out. Everything will be fine there. Again,
- 3:50Speaker 1: keeping it blockaded helps us. We make more money that way,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and it completely completely screws up all revenue coming into
- 3:59Speaker 1: Iran and messes up China. That's another reason. They'll stall
- 4:03Speaker 1: as long as they can.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:04Speaker 1: As far as the talks, well, they'll continue. They were
- 4:08Speaker 1: twenty one hours over the weekend. Can you imagine sitting
- 4:15Speaker 1: in a hotel in Pakistan talking to Iranian negotiators for
- 4:21Speaker 1: twenty one hours? Now? Does anybody in the world want
- 4:24Speaker 1: to do that? If you're Steve Wikoff, you're living in
- 4:29Speaker 1: New York, having the time of your life, having fun,
- 4:31Speaker 1: building buildings, enjoying New York. Who would give that up
- 4:36Speaker 1: to go sit in a hotel conference room in Pakistan
- 4:41Speaker 1: at a table for twenty and one hours talking to
- 4:43Speaker 1: Iranian negotiators with interpreters. But they did it. JD. Vance
- 4:48Speaker 1: led the negotiations. It didn't go well. The nukes were
- 4:50Speaker 1: the big topic.
- 4:51Speaker 3: The enrichment facilities that they had before they've been destroyed.
- 4:56Speaker 3: But the civil question is do we see a fundamental
- 4:59Speaker 3: commitment of will for the Iranians not to develop a
- 5:03Speaker 3: nuclear weapon, not just now, not just two years from now,
- 5:06Speaker 3: but for the long term. We haven't seen that yet.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We hope that we will. Now when it comes to
- 5:10Speaker 1: negotiating with Iran, everybody will tell you, whether it's Obama
- 5:13Speaker 1: or Biden or Pillary or anybody, that they're the worst
- 5:16Speaker 1: negotiators in the world. They're absolutely totally untrustworthy. Even if
- 5:22Speaker 1: they were a degree, they're lying about everything. They're always lying.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So obviously in any negotiation there's ups and downs and
- 5:29Speaker 1: there's bumps, but with somebody like Iran, it's going to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be more ups and downs and a bumpier road than ever.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So the fact that the talks blew up and fell
- 5:37Speaker 1: through after day one is to be expected. There was
- 5:39Speaker 1: no agreement.
- 5:40Speaker 3: We've been at it now for twenty one hours and
- 5:44Speaker 3: we've had a number of substant discussions with the Iranians.
- 5:47Speaker 1: That's the good news.
- 5:49Speaker 3: The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll blockade the whole thing and then we'll see
- 5:56Speaker 1: what happens. Where are they actually, they're in Pakistan Star
- 6:00Speaker 1: Serena hotel where they're having the peace talks. It's a
- 6:04Speaker 1: huge hotel. It's kind of a resort. It's got fifteen acres,
- 6:07Speaker 1: it's got four hundred rooms, it's got multiple banquet rooms,
- 6:11Speaker 1: huge banquet rooms, conference rooms, office complex. These two delegations,
- 6:17Speaker 1: by the way, are people. Our team and their team,
- 6:20Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty people. So it's not a little room.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It's a big room. There's one hundred and fifty people
- 6:25Speaker 1: sitting in this room doing this negotiation. But everything will
- 6:28Speaker 1: be fine. The Pope shooting off his mouth, Pope Leo,
- 6:33Speaker 1: who is a real left wing, woke pope speaking out
- 6:39Speaker 1: pretty much defending a Ran going after the US on
- 6:41Speaker 1: this President Trump firing back at him.
- 6:45Speaker 4: We don't like it.
- 6:46Speaker 2: We don't like a pope that's gonna say that it's
- 6:49Speaker 2: okay to have a nuclear weapon. We don't want a
- 6:52Speaker 2: pope that says crime is okay in our cities.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I don't like it.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I'm not a big fan of poblo.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah, now you you can't attack the pope. Is it's
- 7:00Speaker 1: going to hurt him, No, it's not going to hurt him.
- 7:02Speaker 1: He did this before with the last pope. Remember they
- 7:03Speaker 1: got no huge war awards and Trump only went up.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I think it was during the South Carolina primary, attacked
- 7:10Speaker 1: the pope that said he's finished. He won that primary easily,
- 7:13Speaker 1: had this pope again. We love the pope, but this
- 7:16Speaker 1: guy's way to the left, the real woke and it
- 7:19Speaker 1: was really inappropriate for the Pope to say what he said,
- 7:22Speaker 1: taking a side like that, and a lot of people
- 7:25Speaker 1: criticizing this pope because over the last six months, as
- 7:29Speaker 1: Iran was executing people in the street, slaughtering, killing, executing
- 7:34Speaker 1: thirty thousand protesters, this pope never said a word and
- 7:39Speaker 1: the demonstrators that survived ended up in the hospital. Iran
- 7:44Speaker 1: sent the Republican guard into the hospital to shoot them
- 7:47Speaker 1: in their hospital beds. Pope never said a word. So
- 7:52Speaker 1: you know the hypocrisy left wingers are famous for. But
- 7:56Speaker 1: President Trump not afraid to lash out of him.
- 7:58Speaker 2: He's a very liberal and he's a man that doesn't
- 8:02Speaker 2: believe in stopping grime. He's a man that doesn't think
- 8:05Speaker 2: that we should be going with a country that once
- 8:10Speaker 2: a nuclear weapons so they can blow up the world.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of Bubblio.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, he's very very I'm Donnie like. He defends the criminals,
- 8:20Speaker 1: not the uh, you know, not the police. Hey, over
- 8:27Speaker 1: the weekend. It ended over the weekend, but started on Wednesday.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Al Sharpton had his convention, and in his convention, believe
- 8:37Speaker 1: it or not, if you're a Democrat and you want
- 8:39Speaker 1: to run in twenty twenty eight, you have to show
- 8:41Speaker 1: up and kiss the Al Sharpton ring. And one by
- 8:44Speaker 1: one they all did it. There was Bootage Edge and
- 8:47Speaker 1: he did very well there because remember it's an Al
- 8:49Speaker 1: Sharpton convention, not much substance there. It's left wing cooks
- 8:53Speaker 1: and the Pete Boodhage Edge spews out those left wing
- 8:56Speaker 1: bumper stickers and they loved it. So you had Josh Pierrot,
- 9:01Speaker 1: who is out of all these people, probably the most
- 9:04Speaker 1: common sense of them, probably the smartest of the bunch.
- 9:08Speaker 1: He's Jewish, that's a problem for these Democrats. They don't
- 9:11Speaker 1: want He's pretty good as governor of Pennsylvania. Then he
- 9:16Speaker 1: had Mark Kelly, who strange looking guy, who you know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the angry looking guy. But Democrats love that strange angry
- 9:24Speaker 1: Oh that's big with Democrats. Some people think the way
- 9:27Speaker 1: he handled himself there it looked like he was thinking
- 9:29Speaker 1: of running in twenty twenty eight. Problem with him, He
- 9:33Speaker 1: was under serious consideration to be Kamala's running mate, and
- 9:37Speaker 1: from what I hear, he had some vetting problems. The
- 9:40Speaker 1: vetting process. There were some things that eliminated him. So
- 9:44Speaker 1: I don't know what those are, but you've got that
- 9:46Speaker 1: to worry about. The other problem is, because of all
- 9:51Speaker 1: the recent Democratic talk, Mark Kelly is now officially, according
- 9:56Speaker 1: to Democratic definition, a war criminal because he always brags
- 10:00Speaker 1: about being a fighter pilot. He flew combat missions in Iraq,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and well what he did in Iraq was take out
- 10:07Speaker 1: bridges and take out power plants. That's what he did
- 10:11Speaker 1: on those combat missions. So by his own definition, he's
- 10:14Speaker 1: a war criminals. You're gonna have to worry about that.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But Kamala Harris made the strangest speech a because she
- 10:19Speaker 1: was apparently drunk everybody agreed. She appeared to be totally drunk,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and there's nothing worse than a drunk trying to be funny.
- 10:28Speaker 1: She tried to imitate Donald Trump. She got ridiculed all
- 10:32Speaker 1: over the internet. It's considered to be the single worst
- 10:34Speaker 1: impersonation ever of Donald Trump. Let me see if I
- 10:38Speaker 1: can play it here. It is horror, just horrible. Her
- 10:43Speaker 1: Donald Trump impression is when he talks about America.
- 10:48Speaker 2: First it's to withdraw from these relationships and these connections,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and then he kind of read acts like a mob boss.
- 10:58Speaker 3: So then he's kind of like, you know, you take it.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Eastern Europe and I'll take the Western atmosphere, and then
- 11:09Speaker 5: you over you get Asian.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And we'll just divide it up right instead of understanding
- 11:17Speaker 1: his Now that's supposed to be an impression of Donald Trump.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It will go down on the record as a single
- 11:22Speaker 1: worst impersonation ever. Hey, Eric Swallwell, one minute he's running
- 11:28Speaker 1: for governor California. Next minute, everybody in the staff, campaign management,
- 11:35Speaker 1: everybody quits. He was staying with this big billionaire donor
- 11:38Speaker 1: who gave him a million bucks. In fact, that video
- 11:41Speaker 1: he did done from the billionaire's house. His response these
- 11:45Speaker 1: allegations of sexual assault are flat false. They are absolutely false.
- 11:50Speaker 3: They did not happen, They have never happened, and I
- 11:52Speaker 3: will fight them with everything that I have.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, sounds good. Let me give you a quick update.
- 11:59Speaker 1: This old binstaff, the management, the campaign, manage, everybody quit,
- 12:02Speaker 1: walked out the billionaire with that. He recorded that in
- 12:05Speaker 1: his house. The billionaire just threw him out of his
- 12:07Speaker 1: house and is demanding his million dollars back. In Congress,
- 12:11Speaker 1: Republicans and Democrats are calling for his expulsion. He most
- 12:15Speaker 1: likely will be expelled from the House to probably give
- 12:18Speaker 1: him a chance to resign. First, Swawell will have to
- 12:21Speaker 1: drop out. He suspended his campaign, but he will have
- 12:24Speaker 1: to leave the race. All of these attacks, rape, sexual harassment,
- 12:29Speaker 1: inappropriate behavior, all the different women, all these attacks all
- 12:33Speaker 1: came at once. One minute, he's doing great in the race.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Next minute all this hit the fan. Now, how did
- 12:39Speaker 1: all this happen, all these women, everything all at once. Well,
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's believed it was packaged and coordinated, with a lot
- 12:49Speaker 1: of money behind it, some zillionaires. It's believed he came
- 12:54Speaker 1: from the Democratic side, not from the Republican side. Republicans
- 12:57Speaker 1: didn't really fear him. Democrats wanted him out, wanted him gone,
- 13:02Speaker 1: they wanted to get rid of him. So somebody put
- 13:04Speaker 1: this all together and unleashed it all at once, at
- 13:07Speaker 1: exactly the right moment. Now, who could have done such
- 13:09Speaker 1: a thing, Well, could be a cabal of Democratic donors.
- 13:14Speaker 1: But remember also in that race, he was running against
- 13:16Speaker 1: the billionaire Tom Stier, that left wing climate change kook,
- 13:22Speaker 1: Tom Sutton Styre. And Stier is not a good talker,
- 13:26Speaker 1: He's a horrible campaigner. He couldn't catch up to Swalwell.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Swawel always had a big lead. So I'm just saying
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's possible it was Tom Steyer, the billionaire who helped
- 13:38Speaker 1: organize this hit job. And I'm not saying that Swalweal
- 13:42Speaker 1: is not guilty of all this stuff. I'm sure he is,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but uh, it could have been. It could have been
- 13:47Speaker 1: the Styre somebody else. Now, with Swawell leaving the race,
- 13:50Speaker 1: does that mean Tom Steyer moves up? Not really, because
- 13:53Speaker 1: he may have billions of dollars. Remember he used to
- 13:55Speaker 1: run those TV ads about climate change. He can run
- 13:58Speaker 1: all the ads he wants, he can, But the more
- 14:00Speaker 1: people get a look at him and listen to him,
- 14:02Speaker 1: the more uncomfortable to get with him. He's just an uncomfortable,
- 14:05Speaker 1: awkward sort of a guy, and he's just got that
- 14:08Speaker 1: one issue, that climate change stuff. So he's not much
- 14:11Speaker 1: of a candidate. There's a couple others they think will
- 14:13Speaker 1: rise up, the San Diego mayor and a few others.
- 14:16Speaker 1: This is what in California. It's called a jungle primary.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It's not separate Democrat Republican. Everybody just runs in one
- 14:23Speaker 1: big primary. It's an absolute mess. And Steve Hilton is
- 14:30Speaker 1: the Republican candidate. Some people think he's got a really
- 14:33Speaker 1: good shot, only because if it ends up being Tom Steyer,
- 14:35Speaker 1: who can't talk, Hilton is a great talker. The only
- 14:40Speaker 1: problem is California is now two thirds of it is democratic.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's hard for Republican to win. Used to be a
- 14:47Speaker 1: balanced state. They used to elect Republicans all the time.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, he used to always often elect Republicans.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Not the case anymore. It's been a one party state
- 14:59Speaker 1: for years. So obviously Hilton had have a very tough time,
- 15:03Speaker 1: but he's got a better shot than most Republicans. So
- 15:05Speaker 1: they will call for Swalwell to leave Congress. Even everybody,
- 15:12Speaker 1: the major major major major Democrats have all turned on
- 15:16Speaker 1: him now, and even Leader Hakim Jeffries has called on
- 15:19Speaker 1: him to drop out, and he's calling for a Senate investigation.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Even his big supporter Adam Schiff pulled his support. There's
- 15:27Speaker 1: a lot of other stuff with him. He was running
- 15:28Speaker 1: for governor California. Turns out that people investigating him were
- 15:32Speaker 1: able to show he doesn't even live in California. He
- 15:35Speaker 1: doesn't have a residence there. He got some good friends
- 15:38Speaker 1: who owned a little house to claim that they had
- 15:40Speaker 1: rented a room to him, But that looks like it
- 15:43Speaker 1: wasn't true. So he's finished. That's it. You won't see
- 15:47Speaker 1: him anymore. Hey, Well, take some calls in a minute.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:53Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 15:56Speaker 1: ten in Mark on Demand. He's ending a preset for
- 16:01Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark
- 16:05Speaker 1: Simone on WR Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three
- 16:10Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go
- 16:13Speaker 1: to Lynn in New Jersey. Lynn, how you doing?
- 16:16Speaker 5: Hey, Mark, how are you? Just a quick question. I'm
- 16:20Speaker 5: wondering why we didn't follow Mondami's suggestion, and rather than
- 16:24Speaker 5: send vance to negotiate with the Iranians, why didn't we
- 16:27Speaker 5: send social workers?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Oh, there you go, that's a good thing. The social
- 16:31Speaker 1: worker she's referring to. Instead of a police showing up
- 16:35Speaker 1: in a domestic violence call, we'll send social workers. Now,
- 16:38Speaker 1: the problem with mom Donnie, he's so young, and he
- 16:41Speaker 1: doesn't know his history. And in fact, you know, the
- 16:44Speaker 1: guy's a great talker. Boy, he's powerful speaker, but doesn't
- 16:48Speaker 1: seem to do any homeworker study anything. You know, how
- 16:51Speaker 1: shocked he was that we're going to have this budget
- 16:53Speaker 1: deficit of seven billion, while he couldn't believe it. Once
- 16:58Speaker 1: you go back about a year we announced we're gonna
- 17:00Speaker 1: have it. Eric Adams made a whole speech announcing it.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So apparently Mo'm donnie does no homework. Also, the social
- 17:06Speaker 1: workers answering domestic violence calls, which are the most dangerous
- 17:10Speaker 1: calls to police officers respond to. We've tried this program
- 17:14Speaker 1: three times in the past. It doesn't work. In fact,
- 17:17Speaker 1: the social workers get nimed, shot killed. So he doesn't
- 17:21Speaker 1: do any homework. So let's go to Bill in Pennsylvania. Bill,
- 17:26Speaker 1: how you doing Mark, Oh, it's happy hour, it's Bill.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Well, you know I've got to stop draping.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Amish Foster Brooks.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Go ahead, Uh, I'm you know this Italian drink called grapa. Yes,
- 17:44Speaker 6: uh you know, I mean it's poison. On Saturday, I finally.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Found a drink you don't like. You had some grappa
- 17:51Speaker 1: and you didn't like it.
- 17:53Speaker 6: Okay, it's two. I was two shots and away on
- 17:56Speaker 6: Saturday of getting a butt tattoo of Joe PESHI.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Yeah, well you know that happened. I don't think your
- 18:03Speaker 1: butt's going to have a lot of viewers. I wouldn't
- 18:05Speaker 1: worry about the tattoo. Who's going to see it? Even
- 18:07Speaker 1: you can't see it?
- 18:10Speaker 4: Well, thanks for the compliment.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you're welcome anytime. Thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 18:14Speaker 1: Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing. Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Yeah, you know this accusation that he was you know,
- 18:24Speaker 5: raping his staff didn't happen yesterday. They knew about it
- 18:28Speaker 5: seven years ago when he was going after the president
- 18:32Speaker 5: President Trump, you know, impeaching him every other week. So
- 18:36Speaker 5: you have to wonder, like why he fell into disfavor
- 18:40Speaker 5: all of a Sudden.
- 18:43Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. They all knew about his shenanigans, or
- 18:47Speaker 1: they were hearing about it all the time, and they
- 18:50Speaker 1: kept it quiet. As I say, somebody put this all together,
- 18:54Speaker 1: packaged it up, and they wanted him gone, and somebody
- 18:58Speaker 1: unleashed this all at once. There's a billionaire running against
- 19:02Speaker 1: some Tom's tyre. Anytime you see a rough, tough billionaire
- 19:06Speaker 1: like that, he's chief suspect. But somebody like that put
- 19:09Speaker 1: this together. Absolutely right, Mike, they knew about it. Here's
- 19:12Speaker 1: the former Speaker of the House.
- 19:13Speaker 7: And remember in Congress knows not to not to let
- 19:17Speaker 7: any young staffer get around Swallow or Matt Gates. It's
- 19:22Speaker 7: not a secret there. There's a reason why you didn't
- 19:24Speaker 7: want those two people around.
- 19:26Speaker 1: They all knew it even back then. Let's go to
- 19:29Speaker 1: Jay in New Jersey. Jay, how you doing? Mark?
- 19:33Speaker 5: You know?
- 19:34Speaker 8: But why don't they kick out Swallwell, you know, like
- 19:37Speaker 8: George Santos, you think they's far worse. You know, George
- 19:40Speaker 8: Santo's only lie. And you know this lady that stole
- 19:43Speaker 8: a tucks from the Florida she's still there too.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I like to hear Santos is a he's
- 19:49Speaker 1: a cute guy, but he was stealing money from donors
- 19:53Speaker 1: and there were financial, you know, crimes that took place.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So yeah, you had to get rid of him. Let's
- 19:58Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:01Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Barra.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Mark.
- 20:03Speaker 9: This is to all our friends in the Blue States
- 20:06Speaker 9: who are complaining about a gas increase of fifty cents
- 20:11Speaker 9: of seventy five cents, mainly in the Blue The Blue
- 20:15Speaker 9: robber states, Well, I talked to my man yesterday in Italy,
- 20:19Speaker 9: and as you pointed out.
- 20:21Speaker 1: When you say you're a man in Italy, I hate
- 20:22Speaker 1: to ask, what does that mean?
- 20:24Speaker 9: What does he do? He's my buddy, man, He's my buddy.
- 20:28Speaker 9: So anyway, he was talking about the gas prices and
- 20:33Speaker 9: as you pointed out, Europe is totally dependent on it. Well,
- 20:36Speaker 9: we complained about a fifty cents increase and every day
- 20:39Speaker 9: and that varies from state to state. Well, in Italy,
- 20:43Speaker 9: it does it throughout the whole country, even though they
- 20:45Speaker 9: have different provinces. You can't raise the gas over a
- 20:50Speaker 9: certain price, and you can't lower it. Maybe there's a
- 20:53Speaker 9: couple of pennies difference between one gas station another. That's
- 20:57Speaker 9: all they are paying, and they go by leaders one
- 21:03Speaker 9: euro eighty one cents per leader, which is seven euros
- 21:08Speaker 9: and twenty four cents per gallon. In fact, when I
- 21:12Speaker 9: gas up when I'm in Italy, the gas the gas
- 21:16Speaker 9: pompos caused second Gardenos. It's so smart because only leaders
- 21:21Speaker 9: are coming out of there, not gallons. But for all
- 21:24Speaker 9: of you people in the country are complaining about this
- 21:27Speaker 9: temporary spike, think of that seven euros and twenty four cents,
- 21:33Speaker 9: and right now the euros worth more than the dollar.
- 21:36Speaker 9: And as far as Pope Leo goes, Pope Francis, before
- 21:40Speaker 9: he left office, before he croaked, he made sure he
- 21:44Speaker 9: installed eighty left wing cardinals, new cardinals from his pool.
- 21:52Speaker 9: They're all leftists like him. Pope Leo was one of
- 21:55Speaker 9: them because he knew when he croaked he wanted a
- 22:00Speaker 9: leftist into Papercy just like him. So that's where all
- 22:04Speaker 9: of this.
- 22:05Speaker 1: That's not good, Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. We
- 22:07Speaker 1: got one of those left wings, not a cardinal yet,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but we got one of those left wing archbishops here
- 22:12Speaker 1: in New York. We're running things now. Yeah, you may,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I realize all around the world everybody's paying eight dollars
- 22:17Speaker 1: a gallon for gas. They've been doing it all along.
- 22:20Speaker 1: They're used to it. Now, we don't have to We
- 22:22Speaker 1: don't have to raise gas prices here. We produce all
- 22:24Speaker 1: our own gas. We don't have to go by the
- 22:26Speaker 1: world price. You could order the oil companies to put
- 22:29Speaker 1: the gas price back down, and they could do it
- 22:31Speaker 1: and it wouldn't affect them. But if you do that,
- 22:34Speaker 1: they'll just start producing less and that will drive up
- 22:37Speaker 1: the price. So that's the little game. Hey, when we
- 22:39Speaker 1: come back, Michael Goodwin, the greatest columnist in America. We'll
- 22:43Speaker 1: talk to him next on seven ten WR.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Now more, Mark Amone on sevent WR.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Well, Michael Goodwin, the best columnist in America. You can
- 22:56Speaker 1: read his column every Sunday and every Wednesday in the
- 22:58Speaker 1: New York Post. If you go to New York Post website,
- 23:01Speaker 1: all of his columns are up there. And he's with
- 23:03Speaker 1: us now. Michael Goodwin, how you doing, Good morning, Mark,
- 23:07Speaker 1: Thank you great column yesterday. The headline is the New
- 23:11Speaker 1: York Times hate filled agenda drags on And let's point
- 23:15Speaker 1: out you worked at the New York Times when it
- 23:18Speaker 1: was the real New York Times. What the hell happened
- 23:20Speaker 1: over there to that place.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I like to say I did my undergraduate work there,
- 23:26Speaker 4: but I got my BA and moved on. But look,
- 23:30Speaker 4: it is this particular story. I mean, The Times has
- 23:34Speaker 4: lost its way for a very long time, but this
- 23:38Speaker 4: particular story I think is borderline dangerous because what it
- 23:44Speaker 4: tries to do is paint Donald Trump as something of
- 23:49Speaker 4: a stooge to Benjamin Netan Yahoo. That nating Yahoo came
- 23:56Speaker 4: into the situation room with his staff, and the Resident's
- 24:00Speaker 4: national security team was there, and they just Times described
- 24:06Speaker 4: in great detail what it calls Netanyahu's hard sell to
- 24:11Speaker 4: go to war with Israel against Iran. And you know, Mike,
- 24:16Speaker 4: it's the situation room is supposedly secret, top secret, and
- 24:22Speaker 4: yet there are lots of quotations in the articles from
- 24:26Speaker 4: the President's cabinet and even the President himself. So somebody
- 24:31Speaker 4: in that room is leaking these secret deliberations. I don't
- 24:36Speaker 4: know who. The Times doesn't say, but it quotes very
- 24:41Speaker 4: has very long quotations which could only have come if
- 24:46Speaker 4: they're accurate, from somebody in the room. I think a
- 24:49Speaker 4: criminal investigation is warranted.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but this New York Times, though, you know, for
- 24:55Speaker 1: four years they're writing articles, but he doesn't listen. Trump
- 24:57Speaker 1: won't listen. He doesn't listen the article is all he
- 25:01Speaker 1: does is listen to them.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's right, that's right. And look, it's part
- 25:07Speaker 4: of this larger picture of the anti Semitism spreading blaming
- 25:13Speaker 4: Israel for the war, when, as I point out, what
- 25:17Speaker 4: the story doesn't talk about it at all, is how
- 25:20Speaker 4: Trump has been on a decade long quest to stop
- 25:25Speaker 4: Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. He has been entirely
- 25:29Speaker 4: consistent about that from ten years ago until yesterday. He
- 25:34Speaker 4: has always said, we cannot let them have a nuclear weapon.
- 25:38Speaker 4: They are the world's single largest exporter of terrorism. So
- 25:43Speaker 4: he's talked about Hamas Hezbela, and so none of those
- 25:47Speaker 4: groups make an appearance in this time story, as though
- 25:52Speaker 4: Israel has no real legitimate reason to go to Iran
- 25:57Speaker 4: go to war with Iran, and therefore non days he
- 26:01Speaker 4: hasn't even less legitim memoriason, and so President Trump has
- 26:05Speaker 4: a hoodwinked by datag Yahoo. I mean, it's just it's
- 26:09Speaker 4: a scandalous idea to start with, but to paint it
- 26:14Speaker 4: as a result of that meeting, and he just ignores
- 26:18Speaker 4: the trail of history.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, a slight correction. He's been saying for forty years
- 26:24Speaker 1: that if he were president, he would go after a rent.
- 26:26Speaker 1: In fact, the oldest interview where he said it was
- 26:28Speaker 1: forty six years ago, so right.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Right after the Iotolis came to Baler in nineteen seventy nine.
- 26:37Speaker 4: But this issue of a nuclear weapon has it goes
- 26:42Speaker 4: to the top of the list, beyond anything else Iran
- 26:46Speaker 4: has done. If it were to have a nuclear weapon,
- 26:50Speaker 4: it has made it clear it would use it first
- 26:53Speaker 4: on Israel and probably on the United States if it
- 26:56Speaker 4: gets the missile system so it can deliver a nuclear
- 27:01Speaker 4: warhead on the east coasts of the United States. That's
- 27:04Speaker 4: what it says it will do.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, for years, politicians, actually both sides, they've
- 27:11Speaker 1: had these promises, a handful of promises they make every campaign.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'll end their dependence on foreign oil. Right, Trump did it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: He wiped out this promise, they can't use it anymore.
- 27:22Speaker 1: And the other one was I'll take care of he
- 27:24Speaker 1: ran out disarmment. Well, now he took that one off
- 27:27Speaker 1: the table. Is that why they're getting so mad? They're
- 27:29Speaker 1: losing their campaign promises?
- 27:31Speaker 9: Right?
- 27:31Speaker 4: And what would they do? I mean they when you
- 27:35Speaker 4: listen to the New York Times and or the demograt Party,
- 27:38Speaker 4: same thing. They have this full of criticism, but they
- 27:43Speaker 4: never give you an alternative vision. How do you drive
- 27:47Speaker 4: down gasoline prices if you won't drill for oil, if
- 27:52Speaker 4: you won't make the United States energy independent as Trump
- 27:57Speaker 4: has done, what would their answer be? All more electric cards?
- 28:01Speaker 4: I guess. I mean the green climate stuff that has
- 28:06Speaker 4: driven up the cost of energy everywhere. I mean, and
- 28:09Speaker 4: they talk about inflation, they talk about New York being unaffordable.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Whether green climate things are one of the reasons why
- 28:20Speaker 4: New York has become unaffordable. Any state that has adopted
- 28:24Speaker 4: that sort of stuff has gotten more expensive. So Democrats
- 28:29Speaker 4: don't have a coherent alternative idea.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Everybody read the Michael Goodwin's Calm from yesterday, very very
- 28:37Speaker 1: good coming. But again, what happened in New York Times
- 28:39Speaker 1: in the good old days, the Arthur Gelbs, the Max
- 28:43Speaker 1: whatever his.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Name was, Mike Frankel A Borrosenthal was the Dean of
- 28:47Speaker 4: the Alls. At the same time, we're very straight line Americans.
- 28:55Speaker 4: They were not partisans. They were American first. And that's
- 29:00Speaker 4: what's changed. The New York Times is now run by
- 29:03Speaker 4: progressive Democrats, and they all walk in lockstep with the
- 29:09Speaker 4: Democratic Party if you just look at the headlines on
- 29:12Speaker 4: any given day. So they'll talk about experts. Worry, who
- 29:17Speaker 4: are the experts?
- 29:19Speaker 9: Right?
- 29:20Speaker 4: The Ivy League professors are the experts always. I mean,
- 29:25Speaker 4: that's who the readership is aimed at. And that's the
- 29:30Speaker 4: way they think that there's one way to look at
- 29:33Speaker 4: the world, and it's our way.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah, although I should point out the Times traditionally, historically
- 29:40Speaker 1: has always been anti israel an anti Jewish, going back
- 29:44Speaker 1: to World War Two. Why is that?
- 29:48Speaker 4: I don't I don't know it has again, I can
- 29:52Speaker 4: only think that I know that there have been battles
- 29:57Speaker 4: within over this. But they have taken this very kind
- 30:02Speaker 4: of worldly view about, you know, the way to look
- 30:08Speaker 4: at the global map, and it has always been a
- 30:11Speaker 4: kind of Harvard or Ivy League idea of how the
- 30:17Speaker 4: world works, what politics is really about. They've always looked
- 30:22Speaker 4: looked down their nose at politics. They find that a grimy,
- 30:26Speaker 4: dirty profession and so they don't really have respect for
- 30:31Speaker 4: ideas that don't match their own.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yeah, well it was did you hear President Trump the
- 30:38Speaker 1: other day go after the New York Times. How it
- 30:40Speaker 1: used to be the paper record, it used to be
- 30:41Speaker 1: the Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 9: It was it was.
- 30:44Speaker 4: I mean, as I say, I got my first training
- 30:47Speaker 4: there and it was great. And I still look back
- 30:50Speaker 4: on that New York Times as the real New York Times.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Well, it's a great column. You can read Michael Goodwin's column.
- 30:58Speaker 1: It's at the New York Post website. All of this
- 31:00Speaker 1: columns are up there, and this column is every Sunday
- 31:03Speaker 1: and every Wednesday in the New York Post. Michael Goodwin
- 31:06Speaker 1: great is always. Thanks for being with us.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Thank you, Mark.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Take care. Hey, it's gonna be a nice, warm day.
- 31:13Speaker 1: You know, this whole week's gonna be warm. It's gonna
- 31:15Speaker 1: hit over eighty five, maybe even ninety middle of the week,
- 31:19Speaker 1: but it's gonna be a great day. So coming up
- 31:21Speaker 1: at noon, don't forget Buck Sexton, Clay Travis excellent show
- 31:26Speaker 1: every day noon to three. Then you got the most
- 31:29Speaker 1: listened to radio show in America. Sean Hannity at three,
- 31:33Speaker 1: Jesse Kelly at six, and have you heard Jimmy Fail
- 31:36Speaker 1: If you haven't, it's a really good show. It's very funny.
- 31:39Speaker 1: It's every night nine to midnights here on seven ten wr.
- 31:44Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show continues on sevent ten.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Wor Hey, hey, look who popped up out of nowhere?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Nicky Hayley. You remember that named Nicki Haley. She was
- 31:58Speaker 1: a presidential candidate couple of times. Trump couldn't stand her.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Nobody could stand her. She was an awful woman behind
- 32:05Speaker 1: the scenes, lying, scheming. Everybody that worked in the White
- 32:08Speaker 1: House confirming worst person they ever worked with. Why did
- 32:14Speaker 1: Trump give her a job? The lieutenant governor of South Carolina.
- 32:18Speaker 1: He owed this guy a lot. He said to him,
- 32:20Speaker 1: you can have any job, whatever job you want in
- 32:22Speaker 1: the administration. And he said, I really don't want to
- 32:26Speaker 1: come to Washington. I'd like to be the governor of
- 32:27Speaker 1: South Carolina. If you could get Nicki Haley out of here,
- 32:30Speaker 1: that would be great. So Trump said, yeah, I have
- 32:32Speaker 1: a job. I could dump her in. You an ambassador's
- 32:35Speaker 1: meaningless job doesn't mean anything. He threw her in there.
- 32:38Speaker 1: They finally had to get rid of eating from that
- 32:39Speaker 1: because she'd run around the White House lying and scheming,
- 32:42Speaker 1: and everybody you talk to, every Cabinet member, everybody that
- 32:45Speaker 1: worked there, they'll tell you a nightmare horror stories about
- 32:48Speaker 1: Nicki Haley. When Trump got elected the second time, Remember,
- 32:53Speaker 1: he quickly put out a statement saying Nicki Haley will
- 32:56Speaker 1: have no role in this administration. So, because she's ostracized
- 33:01Speaker 1: completely by everybody that ever knew her, she bashes Trump,
- 33:06Speaker 1: and because she's bashing Trump, they love to talk to her.
- 33:08Speaker 1: So the CNN Sunday Show there was Nicky Haley saying
- 33:12Speaker 1: Trump is causing chaos, distractions, and they never point out
- 33:17Speaker 1: when it's an enemy of Trump, a fired enemy of Trump,
- 33:21Speaker 1: a former disgruntled employee. They never put that out, and
- 33:23Speaker 1: they just put them online as if they're some sort
- 33:26Speaker 1: of expert on all of this. We'll talk more about
- 33:28Speaker 1: those Sunday shows when we come back. It's going to
- 33:31Speaker 1: be a nice, warm day to day. Weather's going to
- 33:33Speaker 1: be great all week. Hey, don't forget if you can't
- 33:36Speaker 1: listen live ten to noon, get the podcast that we
- 33:39Speaker 1: can listen to the show anytime you want, day or night.
- 33:42Speaker 1: And there's also an extra show for podcasts listening to,
- 33:44Speaker 1: a bonus show back right after the news here on
- 33:47Speaker 1: seven to ten. Wo
