- 0:00Speaker 1: Where are you. I'm in my son's room. He's out
- 0:04Speaker 1: of town with his sister for a month or two,
- 0:10Speaker 1: maybe a month, I think, uh, and uh, some somebody's
- 0:14Speaker 1: here to handle pest control because of the air conditioning
- 0:21Speaker 1: system and all of that stuff is being fixed and everything,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and and let's just say, I'm in my son's room,
- 0:28Speaker 1: right I have never seen I have never seen you
- 0:31Speaker 1: outside of your closet since COVID began. And I'm flustered.
- 0:35Speaker 1: It's it's, it's it's it's a little overwhelming for me
- 0:38Speaker 1: right now, Like it doesn't feel as cozy as the
- 0:40Speaker 1: closet does. Yeah, you know what I mean. When I
- 0:43Speaker 1: look at myself in the zoom chat and see all
- 0:47Speaker 1: of this anime stuff in the background, I feel, you know,
- 0:51Speaker 1: a little youthful, I guess, you know. So More importantly,
- 0:55Speaker 1: it's picture day and I don't feel like you put
- 0:57Speaker 1: on a cute outfit. I mean, Joel and I clearly
- 1:00Speaker 1: he did. I I put on this shirt, I put
- 1:03Speaker 1: on my I put on my best local restaurant T shirt.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I fixed my hair, I fixed my donald You're wearing
- 1:09Speaker 1: a logo we probably are gonna have to photoshop. Really
- 1:13Speaker 1: if we're gonna have photoshop logos that I can't change
- 1:15Speaker 1: my shirt real fast. I will change my shirt real fast.
- 1:17Speaker 1: We're not doing pictures until the end, right, No, this
- 1:19Speaker 1: is fucking picture day. And I was excited for it,
- 1:22Speaker 1: and I'm slamming my desk about it because I sent
- 1:24Speaker 1: you all an email. I sent you all an email
- 1:27Speaker 1: and said, look cute, it's picture day. Oh, because the
- 1:33Speaker 1: good folks at at at a merch want to put
- 1:37Speaker 1: the four of us on a what do you call
- 1:40Speaker 1: the thing you put on the back of a phone
- 1:41Speaker 1: and hold it like the pocket on a pop socket? Donald,
- 1:45Speaker 1: this is gonna be on a pop socket. I don't.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I'm sorry, you're like, you're like, motherfucker.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I got a love on my plate than a pop socket. Okay,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I have I apologize for everyone who buys the pop socket.
- 2:02Speaker 1: If you do not approve of what I'm wearing, I'm
- 2:05Speaker 1: going to change my shirt, but don't approve of the
- 2:08Speaker 1: back dob and or what I'm wearing. It's all right,
- 2:10Speaker 1: but I love don't you love how Duell is just
- 2:12Speaker 1: touching up her makeup right now. She looks good too.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You're not enough time in the day, you guys covid.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I used to like have a whole plan, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: we had to do makeup and get out of the house.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But I don't have a routine anymore, and it takes
- 2:24Speaker 1: so much longer than a half an hour. It's the worst.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Dandal changed and he looks fly as fun so handsome.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Love the shirt, thank you. You're gonna have to change
- 2:34Speaker 1: the hat too, because it has a logo on it.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Damn it. It's okay. They can only see the brim.
- 2:37Speaker 1: They can only see the bird, only the brim. Donald,
- 2:39Speaker 1: You're you're think you're second guessing. Do you want to
- 2:41Speaker 1: run and change your shirt for picture day? Well, I
- 2:44Speaker 1: gotta run and change the whole background for picture day. Dude. No,
- 2:47Speaker 1: they can't cut us out and you can put your
- 2:50Speaker 1: face close like I'm doing here like this, I have
- 2:53Speaker 1: no I have a light. Actually I have a light
- 2:55Speaker 1: for this occasion. Hold on, yeah, I've got my ring
- 2:57Speaker 1: light on. Dude, I took picture day. Seriously, y'all are
- 3:00Speaker 1: owning it in I'll be right back. I'm sorry. I
- 3:02Speaker 1: apologize to you, Zach. I should be purged, I should
- 3:05Speaker 1: be punished. I have offended my dear brother, Zachary, I'm
- 3:09Speaker 1: Zachary food right now, Zachari, listen, Zachary, forgive me. I'm
- 3:16Speaker 1: in such a good mood right now. There's a line
- 3:19Speaker 1: at the end of a really wonderful film called Going
- 3:22Speaker 1: in Style that I may have directed, and uh, Alan
- 3:25Speaker 1: Arkin turns to Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. He says,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I have this very odd feeling I haven't felt in
- 3:33Speaker 1: a very long time, and I think it might be happiness.
- 3:40Speaker 1: So that's how Alan Arkin said it, or Woody Allen
- 3:43Speaker 1: said it. Well, Alan Arkin does a very similar neurotic
- 3:46Speaker 1: jewey voice. But I h I don't know. I was
- 3:51Speaker 1: dialing in and I was feeling something like in amidst
- 3:54Speaker 1: all of the mayhem, amidst all the COVID and and
- 3:58Speaker 1: tragedy and five. I was calling you, my friends, and
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was feeling a tingle of happiness. Yea, and all
- 4:06Speaker 1: of you and all of you who are listening, because
- 4:08Speaker 1: holy s word, there are a lot of people listening
- 4:12Speaker 1: to this podcast. I mean there are, I mean a lot.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, I'm not going to talk specific numbers,
- 4:19Speaker 1: but we had a little bit of a holy shit moment.
- 4:21Speaker 1: There are a lot of you listening, and it's bizarre
- 4:24Speaker 1: when you think about talking to that many people. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: think if I thought of it like that, I would
- 4:29Speaker 1: be nervous. I just think of it like I'm talking
- 4:31Speaker 1: to you three am, right. That's how I look at
- 4:33Speaker 1: it too. I find it very interesting how now things
- 4:37Speaker 1: that we say are actually you know, people are listening.
- 4:42Speaker 1: If you know before you know, it does feel like
- 4:46Speaker 1: it does feel like it's just us, the four of
- 4:48Speaker 1: us talking. And so now sometimes when I look at
- 4:51Speaker 1: my Instagram and I see what, you know, the comments
- 4:54Speaker 1: some people have to say about some of the things
- 4:56Speaker 1: we're talking about, it's like, wow, okay, so let me
- 4:59Speaker 1: just be a little bit more. Are careful and not
- 5:00Speaker 1: so cavalier with some of the issues I to that's bullshit.
- 5:05Speaker 1: We want you to be you the listeners, not you
- 5:06Speaker 1: to be you. Obviously, be me obviously. But there's a
- 5:10Speaker 1: certain way to say things so people can receive it better,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Or of course, whether you're
- 5:16Speaker 1: talking to one person or you're talking to a million,
- 5:18Speaker 1: there's ways to say it exactly. And so you know,
- 5:22Speaker 1: although I did shut shoot down one of your trolls,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw that. No, I did
- 5:26Speaker 1: see that. Oh that was so funny. That was great.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I appreciate my little brother coming and freaking standing up
- 5:33Speaker 1: to the bully. I have a little bit of pet
- 5:35Speaker 1: peeve about people that come on to social media and
- 5:38Speaker 1: be like I might have to unfollow, or I might
- 5:40Speaker 1: have to stop listening, Like bro sounds good, go away,
- 5:43Speaker 1: No one cares. I just It's like if I was
- 5:47Speaker 1: having a barbecue and I was serving those little pigs
- 5:49Speaker 1: in a blanket and you came over and you said,
- 5:52Speaker 1: you know, I'm vegetarian, I might have to leave. I'd
- 5:55Speaker 1: be like, get the book out. I don't care. This
- 6:02Speaker 1: is my barcure, This is my barcue. Those are my
- 6:05Speaker 1: fucking pigs in a blanket. Get the funk out. Maybe
- 6:09Speaker 1: you know what, give me my frozen margarita bag, bitch,
- 6:13Speaker 1: do you take the margarita? You take the margarita. Everything
- 6:16Speaker 1: that they you would take the margarita. Yeah, guess what,
- 6:19Speaker 1: guess what? Guess what? This shit is free, Like, this
- 6:23Speaker 1: shit is free. You have to listen to you have
- 6:25Speaker 1: to listen to some ads, but this shit is free,
- 6:27Speaker 1: Like like you're not we're you're not paying for any Twitter, Instagram,
- 6:30Speaker 1: it's all free, like don't come on and saying I
- 6:33Speaker 1: didn't like it when Donald said this, I might have
- 6:35Speaker 1: to stop listening. Come on, buddy, y g t f
- 6:40Speaker 1: A see you later. Preach you're supposed to say, preach. Wow. Yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I mean Joel is in the middle of getting her face.
- 6:52Speaker 1: By the way, I wish the audience could see this
- 6:54Speaker 1: because it's basically a fucking YouTube video of Joel's getting
- 6:58Speaker 1: ready routine. As as we're talking, she's doing her final
- 7:02Speaker 1: final was. By the way, when when the world sees
- 7:04Speaker 1: this picture of you, Joel, because you look very pretty.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I have a feeling that the dating section of our
- 7:09Speaker 1: show for Joelle is going to blow up like ladies
- 7:12Speaker 1: and gentlemen in his time, really very special moment of
- 7:16Speaker 1: the show, and we make Joelle's mama happy and find
- 7:20Speaker 1: her lover Dan, We're gonna need a little theme moment
- 7:27Speaker 1: for Joe. Find Joella lover, no problem. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 7:30Speaker 1: get everybody out there a hint real fast. If you
- 7:32Speaker 1: want to find Joela lover, here's a big tip. Get
- 7:35Speaker 1: her a PS five pre order. That's all you gotta
- 7:38Speaker 1: do too. Five way. Why are you guys so up
- 7:45Speaker 1: on this ps five. Is it because of the very
- 7:47Speaker 1: why freak does it come with? Does it come with?
- 7:50Speaker 1: The freaking? It's because Cybert two days after the release
- 7:57Speaker 1: of the Council. I don't want to buy the car
- 8:00Speaker 1: until twice or the game twice. So if I can
- 8:02Speaker 1: get the console before the game comes out, no matter
- 8:05Speaker 1: what act to play day one, it's I've been waiting
- 8:08Speaker 1: forever for this game. So my brother agrees with you, guys,
- 8:11Speaker 1: He's like, you'll get one. Like there's gonna be a
- 8:13Speaker 1: second round of pre orders block Yeah, I want to
- 8:16Speaker 1: be secure in my discusion making same same I don't
- 8:19Speaker 1: want to be refreshing the same best buy page for
- 8:22Speaker 1: twenty minutes. When does it come out? Does it really
- 8:24Speaker 1: come out? November twelfth? That's a long way away, guys,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it is. But these these pre orders are going to
- 8:29Speaker 1: pile up. They'll start bundling as it gets closer to
- 8:32Speaker 1: Christmas and holiday time, and those will be nice, but
- 8:34Speaker 1: it'd be also nice to get a retail price digital
- 8:36Speaker 1: version of Then I saw the funniest meme that I
- 8:39Speaker 1: only sent to Donald and Daniel because you're well a,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I don't have your cell phone number. Bizarrely and by Okay,
- 8:46Speaker 1: b B, you already told me that it's gonna go green.
- 8:48Speaker 1: So I was like, fuck it anyway, I'm not gonna
- 8:50Speaker 1: have this. But we really the second, the second you
- 8:55Speaker 1: get your iPhone, we need to be on a group.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't know why we don't have a phone group
- 8:58Speaker 1: chat going. I guess love that would, although it might
- 9:00Speaker 1: be detrimental because then we'll be chatting and not saving
- 9:03Speaker 1: it all right, But anyway, I said, Donald and Daniel
- 9:07Speaker 1: a funny meme I saw of great of how they
- 9:11Speaker 1: don't have a disc tray in the new PS thing
- 9:13Speaker 1: and an Xbox doesn't either, right correct, and uh and
- 9:16Speaker 1: and it was it was the Simpsons guy what's his name, Ralph? Ralph?
- 9:21Speaker 1: And I was like Ralph, it was like game stop
- 9:24Speaker 1: right now, and it was Ralph Wickham going, I'm in danger.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Why do you lease disks? They don't leave sell well
- 9:33Speaker 1: unless you keep them for like forty years. And that
- 9:36Speaker 1: is the one thing that is pissed that pisses me
- 9:39Speaker 1: off about game stuff. If you take the disc home
- 9:43Speaker 1: and open the seal, now when you take it and
- 9:47Speaker 1: you don't like, let's say the game is broken or whatever.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You don't like the game you go to return it,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they say, that's six dollars. If this may go around,
- 9:57Speaker 1: then they turn around and sell that shit for damn
- 10:00Speaker 1: near the exact price that it costs to buy it originally.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's trying. It's going to be all download now then, right,
- 10:09Speaker 1: And that is the way it should be. That's the
- 10:10Speaker 1: way it should have been. This is the way. That's
- 10:12Speaker 1: the way. That's the way it should be. But it
- 10:14Speaker 1: takes a long time. And my brief Xbox career, doesn't
- 10:16Speaker 1: it take like it move faster once you downloaded, it
- 10:19Speaker 1: moves faster. No, I'm saying it takes a long time
- 10:22Speaker 1: to download a game. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah it can't.
- 10:24Speaker 1: There's there's there's a lot I didn't I didn't know
- 10:26Speaker 1: if I was doing something wrong when I first downloaded
- 10:29Speaker 1: my games. Oh no, that's the right thing to do.
- 10:31Speaker 1: The big issue now is how much bigger the games
- 10:33Speaker 1: are getting and how much hard drive space the actual
- 10:36Speaker 1: console is going to come with, because like the standard
- 10:38Speaker 1: PlayStation has eight hundred twenty five gigs of space, and
- 10:41Speaker 1: the newest Call of Duty game is two hundred gigabytes.
- 10:45Speaker 1: So that's like, I know that's not standard for every game,
- 10:48Speaker 1: but let's say you have four games that are like that,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you can only have four games on your PlayStation. That's ridiculous.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So I thought I thought xboxes were like table one tarabyte,
- 10:57Speaker 1: uh and two tarabyte xboxes. Now yeah, probably probably for sure.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm just talking about like the cheapest PlayStation because, like
- 11:02Speaker 1: you know, I'm guessing that in general, people will either
- 11:04Speaker 1: get the Xbox Series S, the cheaper one, or the
- 11:07Speaker 1: cheap PlayStation, which is the digital one for three ninety nine,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and that one. The difference between those two and the
- 11:12Speaker 1: ones that are coming out there the same thing. So
- 11:15Speaker 1: there's there's the Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X.
- 11:18Speaker 1: There's more differences between those, but literally the only difference
- 11:20Speaker 1: between the two PlayStations is one comes with a disk
- 11:23Speaker 1: drive and one doesn't. Okay, And so I'm not buying
- 11:27Speaker 1: I'm an Xbox guy, am I what's the difference between
- 11:30Speaker 1: the two. Do you have a four KTV? Of course
- 11:35Speaker 1: he does, So then you're gonna want to get an
- 11:37Speaker 1: Xbox Series X because the X, the lower grade one,
- 11:40Speaker 1: does not have four K support. That's the big difference.
- 11:43Speaker 1: The better one with a disk drive, that's bigger, that's
- 11:45Speaker 1: slightly more expensive does have four K support? What about
- 11:49Speaker 1: three D and virtual currently there's no there's no there's
- 11:54Speaker 1: no VR or three D stuff for the Xbox. There's
- 11:57Speaker 1: there's four K up two one hundred twenty fames per
- 11:59Speaker 1: second support or if your TV has a high refresh rate.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Other than that, that's got to go PS. I still say, bro,
- 12:06Speaker 1: the Oculus Quest, I've been saying it. I'm just saying,
- 12:09Speaker 1: this thing is the absolute shit. If you're going to Gorculus,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I am well aware. They even have a new Star
- 12:16Speaker 1: Wars game coming out for an Oculus gun and that
- 12:20Speaker 1: hit like John Woo. But don't I need a PC
- 12:25Speaker 1: for that? No, you don't. It's a standalone product. And
- 12:27Speaker 1: the Oculus Quest too just got announced. You can get
- 12:30Speaker 1: your pre order right now. Well, god, no, they're not
- 12:32Speaker 1: sponsoring me yet. By the way, I have an Oculus
- 12:37Speaker 1: but I never used it because I the one I
- 12:39Speaker 1: have needed to be set up with a PC and
- 12:41Speaker 1: I don't know how to do that, and I and
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's one of those things that just I never got
- 12:45Speaker 1: around to. But I totally got that. But if it's
- 12:47Speaker 1: a stand alone thing, I'm color me intrigued. It is standalone.
- 12:51Speaker 1: It's I just you know what, if you're interested in
- 12:53Speaker 1: VR at all, I just got to say it is
- 12:54Speaker 1: such an incredible experience that it completely It is one
- 12:58Speaker 1: of those things with every step in terms of how
- 13:00Speaker 1: we interact with technology and video games, it was one
- 13:03Speaker 1: of those things that just completely blew my mind. It
- 13:05Speaker 1: was an instant If the good folks at Oculus want
- 13:07Speaker 1: to send all four of us, and we'll be glad
- 13:09Speaker 1: to talk a whole lot about it. Absolutely, I'll talk
- 13:12Speaker 1: about Oculus all day, Yeah, and all night. I would
- 13:15Speaker 1: listen to you guys. Got we could do a whole
- 13:17Speaker 1: We could do a one. We could do a whole one.
- 13:20Speaker 1: We're all in the same virtual world. A whole podcast.
- 13:23Speaker 1: We literally can do that. Yeah. Yeah, they can meet
- 13:26Speaker 1: a big screen VR and we can all Look a question,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'm playing a certain game and it's like, you know
- 13:32Speaker 1: how when you play PlayStation or Xbox you go into
- 13:36Speaker 1: these big rooms and now you guys are all playing
- 13:38Speaker 1: missions together. Can you do that with Oculus? There are
- 13:41Speaker 1: a couple of games that offer most we got to
- 13:43Speaker 1: do that. Are you kidding me? We can all meet
- 13:45Speaker 1: up in the first Do they have the ready player
- 13:48Speaker 1: one suits yet that you could put on and you
- 13:50Speaker 1: could feel every time they Yet they don't. Yeah, but
- 13:55Speaker 1: when they have that, that's what I want. I'm waiting
- 13:57Speaker 1: for that. You Oh my god, we get virtual hug,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I will virtual virtual whop on you, oh my god.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And I would receive hit. I'll hit like they'll be
- 14:08Speaker 1: like control X to whop on Donald and then I'll
- 14:11Speaker 1: just whop all over you. Oh my god. If it
- 14:13Speaker 1: was control you know how you just keep pressing the
- 14:16Speaker 1: X button over and over and over and over again.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Remember that game to Cathalon where you had to press
- 14:20Speaker 1: it really fast. There was a gaming there was when
- 14:24Speaker 1: I was in college. There was a computer game where
- 14:26Speaker 1: it was a sex game and you to have sex
- 14:29Speaker 1: you move the mouse really fast. Was it called leisure
- 14:32Speaker 1: Suit Larry and No No, Although I did love those
- 14:35Speaker 1: games as oh my god. Sierra games were amazing. Police Quest,
- 14:44Speaker 1: um yea face quest, Space Quest and not the way
- 14:49Speaker 1: for it. For a hints. They used to have a
- 14:50Speaker 1: hotline you have to call, because I would I would
- 14:52Speaker 1: be so stuck, and they had they I would my
- 14:55Speaker 1: parents would be like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 14:56Speaker 1: What are these charges? But I would be it was
- 14:58Speaker 1: like a drug. I was like a dift to do
- 14:59Speaker 1: a drug, like make sure no one's looking, and then
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'd call the hot line and would you would have
- 15:04Speaker 1: to you would have to go. For those of you
- 15:05Speaker 1: who are young, you're probably like, what the fuck is
- 15:07Speaker 1: he talking about? This is way before like the internet
- 15:10Speaker 1: and the computers are what they are. You'd have to
- 15:11Speaker 1: go on the hot line and and be like, fine
- 15:14Speaker 1: the scene where you were lost, and it would give
- 15:16Speaker 1: you the clue and it was charging you some astronomical
- 15:18Speaker 1: rate to get hine second whatever it was. And I
- 15:22Speaker 1: would be on there and be like, I'm sorry, mom,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm like like out loud even though she wasn't in
- 15:27Speaker 1: the room, like I've gotta do this. I'm lost in
- 15:28Speaker 1: police quest and I would But anyway, this sex game,
- 15:33Speaker 1: this is like ninety late nineties, and it was and
- 15:37Speaker 1: the fact and you're having sex and the faster you
- 15:40Speaker 1: move the mouse, you're having sex. And I had this
- 15:42Speaker 1: born again Christian roommate. He wasn't in the room in
- 15:45Speaker 1: our in my dorm room, and he literally is out
- 15:48Speaker 1: of a movie. He opened the door and I'm just
- 15:50Speaker 1: jam in this mouse trying to win because you win
- 15:52Speaker 1: when the when the computer people have an rigasm and
- 15:57Speaker 1: it literally he opens a door like to show his
- 16:00Speaker 1: very religious, nice girlfriend the room, and I'm in there
- 16:04Speaker 1: just jam in my mouth, just jam in it. And
- 16:07Speaker 1: I turn around, just straight out of a movie, and
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm frantically trying to like get out of the game
- 16:11Speaker 1: and it won't and all years like I'm like escape, escape, escape,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and literally out of the movie. He's like, oh, we'll
- 16:19Speaker 1: come back, We'll go back. No, No, I'm shocked. He
- 16:33Speaker 1: was a very nice guy, but we just weren't on
- 16:35Speaker 1: the same page. Um sounds like because you know, the
- 16:39Speaker 1: whole he believed that I was gonna go to hell,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and so it was kind of hard to get Yeah, boy,
- 16:46Speaker 1: it's hard to get along really anytime, anytime another human
- 16:50Speaker 1: being actually says to you, you're gonna go to Hell,
- 16:53Speaker 1: it's kind of hard to freaking where do you go
- 16:56Speaker 1: from there? I once stated a born again Christian, a woman,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and she was great, but I said to her, kind
- 17:01Speaker 1: of trying to make a joke, I said, I mean,
- 17:02Speaker 1: how can this really go anywhere? I mean, you you
- 17:05Speaker 1: think I'm going to Hell? And I said, what can
- 17:08Speaker 1: I say? I hope you're wrong, And the most sincere
- 17:11Speaker 1: face she went I hope I am too whom And
- 17:18Speaker 1: I was like, escape, escape, probably get donald count five six, seven,
- 17:30Speaker 1: eight stories about show we made about a bunch of
- 17:36Speaker 1: docs and nurses. And I said, he's a stories never
- 17:44Speaker 1: so yeado around here, yeado around here. I gotta say something.
- 17:55Speaker 1: This is a fucking amazing episode. I laughed a laugh
- 17:58Speaker 1: laughing I saw of I texted Bill, I said, I said, Bill,
- 18:03Speaker 1: we are at two twenty What is a two twenty one?
- 18:07Speaker 1: I said, we are at two twenty one, and we
- 18:10Speaker 1: are all in the groove. This episode is I think
- 18:14Speaker 1: the best of season two. I'm gonna go out and
- 18:17Speaker 1: say it, Well, I really did enjoy this. Suppose it's
- 18:20Speaker 1: got a little bit of everything. It's got heart with
- 18:22Speaker 1: with Carla's uh with Carla, by the way, I haven't.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I was thinking as I was dialing, and I have
- 18:27Speaker 1: no idea what percentage of the audience is actually watching
- 18:29Speaker 1: the show along with it or or just listening, um,
- 18:33Speaker 1: and we have no way to measure that. But but
- 18:36Speaker 1: so uh anyway, that's irrelevant. I I was. It has
- 18:40Speaker 1: the Judy's Carla's mom's death, which and and the and
- 18:44Speaker 1: the wedding that they're about to have in the in
- 18:47Speaker 1: the hospital with Turk. So it's got heart, but then
- 18:49Speaker 1: it's got so much funny stuff. It's got a whole
- 18:52Speaker 1: lot of sexy stuff with Amy smart Um. There's just
- 18:55Speaker 1: some hilarious stuff. I mean that as some of the
- 18:58Speaker 1: funniest stuff of season two in it. And I just
- 19:00Speaker 1: I don't know, I just I had one of these
- 19:01Speaker 1: moments like I think this is the best episode's using two. Okay, well,
- 19:05Speaker 1: let's get into the recap. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 19:07Speaker 1: want I want to call it the recap. And then
- 19:10Speaker 1: but then, you know what, then Daniel has to make
- 19:12Speaker 1: up all of these damn theme songs and stuff like, oh,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I don't mind whatever. Okay, well, then let's get into
- 19:17Speaker 1: the recap. Daniel is a DJ. I'm sure that he
- 19:21Speaker 1: doesn't mind taking a few minutes and making up a
- 19:24Speaker 1: little problem. Here we go and go tasty. Cooma wife
- 19:30Speaker 1: is back and she is naughty. Call his mom dies,
- 19:33Speaker 1: prompting her to want to get married a sap elliot Mitch,
- 19:36Speaker 1: she's already bought herself a wedding dress. Plus Ted the
- 19:39Speaker 1: lawyer and doctor Kelson want everyone to take it easy
- 19:42Speaker 1: on how they deliver information to patients. Sometimes, because of
- 19:45Speaker 1: pressure and or angst, we make decisions without using our
- 19:49Speaker 1: better judgment. This usually causes more pain and misery, not
- 19:52Speaker 1: just for us, but for others too. If we're lucky,
- 19:55Speaker 1: we have people in our lives who care about us
- 19:57Speaker 1: enough to tell us like it is. But in in
- 20:00Speaker 1: you have to be you have to have the awareness
- 20:03Speaker 1: and the ability to accept receive. You have to have
- 20:08Speaker 1: the ability and the awareness to accept and receive the information,
- 20:12Speaker 1: even if it's not what you want to hear. Amen,
- 20:16Speaker 1: Well said Amen. Well said, maybe we should just change
- 20:19Speaker 1: it to you do it in forty seven seconds. Okay,
- 20:22Speaker 1: that's fine. Well, you gotta cut the part where I
- 20:23Speaker 1: mess up? Right, No, I think we should leave it
- 20:26Speaker 1: because I think makes sense. We like we like to
- 20:29Speaker 1: show the audience all the seems. No. Um no, Well said,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I gotta tell you Donald, it's Donald, right, I gotta
- 20:37Speaker 1: tell you what an episode? What an episode? And I mean,
- 20:43Speaker 1: as a straight person, I must say that Amy Smart
- 20:47Speaker 1: in Lingerie mounting Me is is a piece of art. Yeah,
- 20:54Speaker 1: you know, when watching this, this is one of those
- 20:56Speaker 1: episodes where I was like this motherfucker. I was even
- 21:01Speaker 1: like this motherfucker, what a job? What a job. What
- 21:06Speaker 1: a job being paid extraordinarily well to have Amy smart,
- 21:09Speaker 1: mount Hue and lingerie and that bat. Although I'm so
- 21:13Speaker 1: neurotic that when she was doing that, I was like,
- 21:16Speaker 1: looking at the scar I have on my chin. You know,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I'm tied up. JD is tied up on the bed,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and she's in a very sexy outfit and she's she's
- 21:26Speaker 1: mounting me and I all I could see was the
- 21:29Speaker 1: scar on my chin. That's very I think that's most
- 21:32Speaker 1: actors when they're when they watched themselves. Yeah, you know,
- 21:37Speaker 1: when I I did a movie with the very wonderful actress,
- 21:42Speaker 1: she actually has a she actually is one of the
- 21:44Speaker 1: few people in the world have an egot. Her name
- 21:46Speaker 1: is Whippy Goberg Here at the show. I once told her,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I was like, you know, I loved all of the
- 21:57Speaker 1: movies you made when I was growing up, Like a
- 22:00Speaker 1: lot of what you did shaped how I am now.
- 22:04Speaker 1: You know what I mean, me wanting to be an
- 22:05Speaker 1: actor and everything like that. You made the type of
- 22:07Speaker 1: movies I wanted to be. And she said, it's funny
- 22:10Speaker 1: because when I look at that stuff, she's like, thank
- 22:12Speaker 1: you very much. First of all, but when I look
- 22:14Speaker 1: at that stuff. What I see is, oh, I think
- 22:18Speaker 1: I looked. I don't like the way I looked in
- 22:20Speaker 1: that scene, or you know, I I don't. I was
- 22:25Speaker 1: on my period that day or whatever it is. You
- 22:27Speaker 1: know what I mean. And that's you're exactly right. You're this.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You're in a scene with the lovely Amy Smart. You
- 22:33Speaker 1: guys have great chemistry together. The scene works, obviously, and
- 22:40Speaker 1: all you can think about is all I don't like
- 22:41Speaker 1: the score on my chin. Well, I think also, I
- 22:43Speaker 1: just feel like next to Amy Smart, I looked like
- 22:46Speaker 1: like it was like Beauty and the Beast. I just
- 22:48Speaker 1: felt like I just felt very unattractive. I disagree with
- 22:52Speaker 1: you wholeheart. Well, thank you. No, if I'm saying it's
- 22:55Speaker 1: it's it's more what you're saying with Whoopee said, it's
- 22:57Speaker 1: like you know you you I'm not usually obsessed with
- 23:00Speaker 1: with that stuff. When I watched myself back, whether it's
- 23:02Speaker 1: something I'm directing or I'm in someone else's thing, I'm like, Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 1: it is what it is. But there's times when I
- 23:07Speaker 1: when I get, you know, like any human being going, oh,
- 23:10Speaker 1: what's that thing on my fucking chin? Oh? Who's doing
- 23:13Speaker 1: my hair? That day. What the hell happened? I'm like, yeah, well, yeah, understand.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You know, I don't understand the hair part because my
- 23:19Speaker 1: hair is usually the same and everything. Anyway, um yo,
- 23:21Speaker 1: holy shit, tasty Komba wife is naughty, yeah, Ti tid.
- 23:28Speaker 1: She likes drama and she likes naughty shit. She wants
- 23:31Speaker 1: to get into it. She wants you to do. She's
- 23:34Speaker 1: the type of person that's like, spank me harder. Damn.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I love how down Amy was with all this. She
- 23:40Speaker 1: was so first of all, she's very funny in this.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And there's one moment later where she she does this
- 23:45Speaker 1: move I've never even seen before. She licks both of
- 23:48Speaker 1: her fingers. Did you see that? Yeah, and then she
- 23:50Speaker 1: rubs the ass like she she grabs the air with
- 23:52Speaker 1: her I almost thought in my brain, I thought, was
- 23:55Speaker 1: she maybe she was going to do a lick and
- 23:57Speaker 1: then touch her nipples, And then she went, oh, no,
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's it's it's primetime TV. Let me just grab the air.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Maybe I didn't know what she was up to, but
- 24:07Speaker 1: it was. It was delicious, and it was delicious and
- 24:11Speaker 1: it was very funny and um and I don't know.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I just I'm here to say if you're Amy's agent.
- 24:17Speaker 1: However much she's working, she should be working more because
- 24:19Speaker 1: she is funny and talented and uh, and she did
- 24:23Speaker 1: a great job. I wish Jade had there were more episodes,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but I think I think this is the last one.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I keep saying that, I'm not sure. I didn't realize
- 24:30Speaker 1: she'd done this. This is next episode is all about
- 24:33Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds. I didn't realize she had done so many episodes. Dude, Like, yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't know. That's great, great, Um, how
- 24:41Speaker 1: about fifty eight seconds? Then I get and Elliot's there
- 24:44Speaker 1: and I've got I've got rope burns on my wrists. Yes,
- 24:47Speaker 1: And Elliot's looking like, what the hell is that? And
- 24:49Speaker 1: I go, it's it's my new watch band. It's it's
- 24:52Speaker 1: made out of cat. So quick on your toes, I
- 25:02Speaker 1: know it so quick? And then, oh my god, how
- 25:04Speaker 1: about us all laughing at wang? Did you laugh when well,
- 25:08Speaker 1: when they said it, did you not laugh? Yeah? Gang
- 25:10Speaker 1: is a funny word. I'm sorry, funny, I'm sorry. Wang
- 25:13Speaker 1: is a funny euphemism for penis. Yes, it is. But
- 25:16Speaker 1: I love I love that we're like these doctors and
- 25:19Speaker 1: we're laughing at the word wang like, and I love
- 25:22Speaker 1: to laugh. It's like like like somebody can't hear that,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know what I mean? I feel like I don't
- 25:31Speaker 1: know about the other forty five and forty six year
- 25:33Speaker 1: olds listening, but I will still laugh at the word wang.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I'm I'm too immature. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with laughing at wang. Wang's funny. Whang's funny. Dude,
- 25:44Speaker 1: it's funny. It's funny. Um Todd's first air five. I
- 25:51Speaker 1: don't know how many air fives that there are in
- 25:53Speaker 1: the whole series, but Todd delivers his very first air
- 25:56Speaker 1: five here. This is the first. Do you know this
- 25:58Speaker 1: because of Scrubs Wiki? No? I didn't. I just I
- 26:00Speaker 1: know that I hadn't seen one before. Okay, maybe this
- 26:04Speaker 1: is a question. Can we ask scrubs Wiki or is
- 26:06Speaker 1: this a problem? No, and we haven't used him in
- 26:09Speaker 1: a while, and we did. We did buy a lot
- 26:10Speaker 1: of attention from him with the Funko Pops, So let's
- 26:13Speaker 1: ask him right now. So, Trevor, how are you. I
- 26:17Speaker 1: hope you're enjoying the Funko Pops. I hope that haven't
- 26:19Speaker 1: been sold on eBay. I think This is the very
- 26:22Speaker 1: first time that Todd ever air fives anyone. Is that true, Trevor,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I have one last question ahead to be that guy.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Go ahead, but is there a number account on how
- 26:33Speaker 1: many times Todd air fives? Is that something that you guys?
- 26:37Speaker 1: That can be found on Hi Zack and Donald, the
- 26:40Speaker 1: Funko Pops and I are doing well here in Colorado.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Todd has had many unrequited fives, but this is the
- 26:46Speaker 1: first Air five. Over the series. Todd names fifty one
- 26:49Speaker 1: different fives, and yes, all of them are named on
- 26:52Speaker 1: Scrubs Wiki. This is the only standard Air five, but
- 26:55Speaker 1: he gives a skeptical Air five in season six and
- 26:58Speaker 1: a ferry five in My Prince. Thank you, Trevor, Thank you, Trevor.
- 27:03Speaker 1: It feels like you're giving him a large assignment, but
- 27:04Speaker 1: maybe Trevor will go for it. We did give him
- 27:06Speaker 1: signed Funco pops. He has the only he has the
- 27:09Speaker 1: only JD signed Funco pop in existence. It's priceless, priceless
- 27:14Speaker 1: at least a g G and a half. You get
- 27:18Speaker 1: a G and a half, but that so not price less,
- 27:20Speaker 1: price full. There's a price, but you make the price right.
- 27:27Speaker 1: This janitor, this shorts thing I've said before is the
- 27:33Speaker 1: funniest thing to me. And I've said this before, so
- 27:35Speaker 1: sorry I'm repeating myself. But if you look at the
- 27:37Speaker 1: season two blooper reel on YouTube, I could not get
- 27:41Speaker 1: through this moment. I just thought Neil, everything related to
- 27:44Speaker 1: Neil and shorts, I just thought was so funny. And
- 27:47Speaker 1: I didn't know I'd forgotten that JD put the shorts
- 27:51Speaker 1: on multiple times. All I remembered was the end moment
- 27:57Speaker 1: where I'm like, like, look, I'm a doctor, I can't
- 27:58Speaker 1: wear shorts to work. And he says the beloved line,
- 28:03Speaker 1: the good Lord didn't bless my wife with all her fingers.
- 28:07Speaker 1: She only has pointer and thump pinky and then he
- 28:09Speaker 1: does a little gesture. That's the part where I was
- 28:15Speaker 1: just cracking up laughing. But um, but yeah, JD wears
- 28:19Speaker 1: those scrub short shorts multiple times, and um, and they're
- 28:22Speaker 1: dirty because they've been they get dirty, right because he
- 28:24Speaker 1: throws him in a trash. It throws him in the dumpster,
- 28:27Speaker 1: and then he find the janitor finds him. He goes
- 28:30Speaker 1: Minty Rosa. Why is the janitor all of a sudden
- 28:34Speaker 1: speaking Spanish and the dump s we don't know um,
- 28:39Speaker 1: the other thing I had forgotten, which is so fucking funny.
- 28:41Speaker 1: At ten minutes, and he goes, I thought we were
- 28:43Speaker 1: shorts buddies. You know the schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, wah
- 28:48Speaker 1: them Thursday, Friday, shorts weekends optional. I'll be wearing shorts.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I laughed at the cup. I laughed. Well, okay, so
- 29:01Speaker 1: I laughed at the whole janitor story, but I also
- 29:03Speaker 1: laughed at the Ted Doug storyline. Yad me rolling ye. Somehow,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Ted and Doug have now bonded over a week. They
- 29:13Speaker 1: have a weekend bike ride that they go on this episode,
- 29:18Speaker 1: where they wear they ride bikes and vent to each
- 29:21Speaker 1: other about how much they hate doctor Chells. Yeah. By
- 29:25Speaker 1: the way, we hear about a few activities outside of
- 29:27Speaker 1: the hospital this episode. There's there's also a long nurse
- 29:30Speaker 1: robbery by the way, and and and and Ted specifies
- 29:36Speaker 1: her above browndoo. Yeah where and and but but that's
- 29:40Speaker 1: when doctor Cox. That's the last time doctor Cox got violent. Yeah,
- 29:43Speaker 1: he said down because it's so funny, Cox goes, I
- 29:46Speaker 1: might just rip off that tie off your neck and
- 29:48Speaker 1: jam it down your esophagus. And Ted goes, I think
- 29:51Speaker 1: you proved at Nurse Roberts above ground pool party that
- 29:54Speaker 1: that doesn't solve anything. Oh my god, this episode had
- 30:01Speaker 1: me rolling. I had so many laugh out loud moments.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Dam and fucking Sam Lloyd is hilarious, and he's hilarious
- 30:06Speaker 1: in this episode and been finally at the end when
- 30:09Speaker 1: he's like, well, we're all there, everybody's listening their problems,
- 30:11Speaker 1: and he goes, I'm sterile, yeah, and they look at
- 30:14Speaker 1: him and he's like, I think it's because of the
- 30:16Speaker 1: bike ride. No. But before he goes, my my, what
- 30:19Speaker 1: does he say, my my swimmers, my little guys. Yes,
- 30:25Speaker 1: scrubs Wicky said, Uh. One of the things that said
- 30:28Speaker 1: is this is the first episode where the lawyer admits
- 30:31Speaker 1: that he's sterile. Um, Fred, we run Barry, hold up anyway,
- 30:36Speaker 1: don't get to Fred yet. Okay, we got to talk
- 30:39Speaker 1: about the goose bumps I had when Judy Rays just
- 30:42Speaker 1: drops her mom died. Yeah, and we always say this,
- 30:47Speaker 1: but we was say it again. Judy Rays is such
- 30:49Speaker 1: a good actress and she brings the the heart and
- 30:54Speaker 1: the the it's you know, Bill always us to say
- 30:56Speaker 1: she grounds the show. You and I can get so
- 30:59Speaker 1: silly and some of the ancillary characters can get so silly,
- 31:02Speaker 1: but then there's always Carla who's grounding it. And this
- 31:05Speaker 1: show proves that this episode because there we are being
- 31:08Speaker 1: as silly as ever. I mean literally, we're about to
- 31:10Speaker 1: talk about Fred re run Berry doing dances and there's
- 31:14Speaker 1: Carla and she just goes my mom died, and everyone
- 31:18Speaker 1: just drops into reality. And I was just very moved,
- 31:22Speaker 1: probably because there's been a lot of death in my
- 31:24Speaker 1: life and friendships circling around people who need love. But
- 31:28Speaker 1: the looks on all of our faces when we just
- 31:31Speaker 1: kind of like looked at her and dropped in with
- 31:34Speaker 1: her and gave her love, and I don't know, I
- 31:36Speaker 1: just found it was very I got goosebumps, and I
- 31:38Speaker 1: thought it was just very. It just showed how quickly
- 31:40Speaker 1: the show can go from Fred Barry dancing to having
- 31:44Speaker 1: goosebumps and tears in your eyes, you know what I mean?
- 31:46Speaker 1: Oh absolutely. I was very impressed with Turk also in
- 31:51Speaker 1: this episode and how he was selfless about everything, Like
- 31:54Speaker 1: I kept waiting for him to make a joke every
- 31:56Speaker 1: time he was comforting her, Yeah, you know what I mean,
- 31:58Speaker 1: Like and he and he never does everything always he
- 32:03Speaker 1: was always very supportive of Carla and her loss. And
- 32:09Speaker 1: that was very impressive, you know, especially on a show
- 32:12Speaker 1: where you know we're always telling jokes. We took this
- 32:17Speaker 1: part of the show very seriously. Yeah, and he Turk
- 32:19Speaker 1: is like the dream fiance boyfriend in that he's like,
- 32:24Speaker 1: I don't know, he's just saying all the right you know. Turk,
- 32:26Speaker 1: who can can often put his foot in his mouth,
- 32:28Speaker 1: is saying all the things anyone in that who just
- 32:30Speaker 1: lost their mom would want to be said. He says
- 32:33Speaker 1: that beautiful thing about let me let me be there
- 32:35Speaker 1: to fill up some of the bowl that she I
- 32:38Speaker 1: forgot the wording of it, but that was beautiful, beautifully
- 32:40Speaker 1: written and and well delivered. Your acting is really good
- 32:43Speaker 1: in this episode. Oh you are such a sweetheart. Go on,
- 32:45Speaker 1: but Judy Ray is just sorry because she has more
- 32:48Speaker 1: emotion to do than you. Just a few times. Amazing, Judy, Judy, Judy,
- 32:53Speaker 1: Judy crushed all right. Fred Barry, for those of you
- 32:57Speaker 1: who don't know, was the star of a show called
- 33:00Speaker 1: What's Happening that j Hey and Me and Donald's childhood
- 33:07Speaker 1: was a seminole saidcom about a family living. Where did
- 33:11Speaker 1: they live? Oh shit? Oh wow, Chowell, we're gonna put
- 33:15Speaker 1: you to work. Say it was Philadelphia, I don't I
- 33:18Speaker 1: don't remember what city it was. But they didn't have
- 33:20Speaker 1: much money, and they were friends and it was about
- 33:23Speaker 1: their lives. And as a white kid growing up in
- 33:27Speaker 1: the suburbs, it like good Times, opened my eyes to
- 33:31Speaker 1: a world I didn't have any connection to or know
- 33:34Speaker 1: anything about in a hysterical way. And I loved What's Happening, Dude.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It was one of my favorite shows. I used to
- 33:41Speaker 1: laugh so hard Saint Louis, thank you. I used to
- 33:44Speaker 1: laugh so hard at so There are so many parts
- 33:48Speaker 1: of the show that I remember, like still to this day,
- 33:51Speaker 1: like when they go to the Doobie Brothers concert and
- 33:54Speaker 1: they bootleg it with one of those tape deck tape
- 33:57Speaker 1: deck that you used to like record notes with, saying
- 34:02Speaker 1: in the concert with one of those things to try
- 34:04Speaker 1: and to try that one freaking uh, Dwayne singing coma
- 34:09Speaker 1: coma coma comic coma coma Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, uh
- 34:16Speaker 1: freaking rerun doing the dance at the talent show and
- 34:18Speaker 1: winning it, and then after that always dancing. Wait, we
- 34:21Speaker 1: have a Rodgers laugh. We have a correction from Joel.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Never mind. They lived in Watts, Los Angeles. Oh shit,
- 34:29Speaker 1: let's that's that's correct. That yeah, but but but I
- 34:35Speaker 1: I remember a fun really funny episode where was it
- 34:38Speaker 1: Rerun who got a credit card and he didn't really
- 34:41Speaker 1: understand the ramifications. And as I recall, Rerun just got
- 34:46Speaker 1: it like someone got to him with a credit card
- 34:48Speaker 1: and he just started buying tons of shit. And they
- 34:50Speaker 1: all came over and Rerun who had no money? These
- 34:52Speaker 1: guys all, you know, had no money, and and the
- 34:55Speaker 1: house was was full of stuff Rerun had bought on
- 34:59Speaker 1: with his credit card. And I just remember, even though
- 35:01Speaker 1: god knows how many years ago it was, I remember
- 35:04Speaker 1: there was a there was a scuba tank in the room.
- 35:08Speaker 1: So amongst the things he had gone crazy with his
- 35:10Speaker 1: credit card, he bought a scuba tank. But that's not
- 35:12Speaker 1: only but remember he bought the juice or also okay,
- 35:15Speaker 1: juice belogny. Should we should do a special episode of
- 35:24Speaker 1: Fake Doctor's Real Friends where we do a rewatch of
- 35:27Speaker 1: What's Happening episode and Son or Sanford and Son. Yeah,
- 35:32Speaker 1: but I didn't watch Sanford in the Son. That was
- 35:34Speaker 1: a little bit earlier in terms of the time. I
- 35:37Speaker 1: didn't watch that as much. Um, but What's Happening was
- 35:40Speaker 1: the sweet spot for me. I watched every episode. Remember
- 35:43Speaker 1: when Rodge was a nude male model for UM, for
- 35:47Speaker 1: people that were like sketching in a art class. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:51Speaker 1: And there was Shirley Shirley, Yeah, Shirley and Roger tell Mama,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'm tell mama right, and Mama was a mazing I
- 36:00Speaker 1: forgot the actress is Naming played to her. She was incredible.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Will you find that out for me? Please? You? Well,
- 36:04Speaker 1: what a cast. So if you're if you've never heard
- 36:07Speaker 1: of it, I don't know, go on YouTube watch a clip.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Maybe it won't translate now because it's it's it's old,
- 36:12Speaker 1: but I loved it. Anybody So fred Fred Barry had
- 36:18Speaker 1: had these hilarious dances he would do and um, and
- 36:22Speaker 1: what you see in this episode is this so Jad's fantasy.
- 36:25Speaker 1: You know, they sort of they tease that it's going
- 36:28Speaker 1: to be a threesome because JD says, oh my god,
- 36:30Speaker 1: he's looking at Amy Smart and Sarah Chalk together. He goes,
- 36:33Speaker 1: I can't imagine seeing these two together. You can only
- 36:37Speaker 1: imagine what I'm thinking. And you think it's going to
- 36:39Speaker 1: be something sexual, And it's Amy Smart and Sarah Chalk
- 36:41Speaker 1: with Fred Berry in his outfit in matching outfits doing
- 36:46Speaker 1: his famous rerun dance. So that was really funny. And
- 36:49Speaker 1: then we cut later to what I imagine your bachelor
- 36:52Speaker 1: party's going to be, and it's all of us dancing,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and a lot of our crew guys are in there,
- 36:57Speaker 1: including Michael Spiller who directed this episode, is in there.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I saw my stand in, Scott Ravedu. It was Deonte
- 37:04Speaker 1: in there. Deontay was definitely in there. Yeah. I think
- 37:11Speaker 1: a lot of the people that worked in the in
- 37:13Speaker 1: the film department or in the lab, would you know,
- 37:17Speaker 1: editing and stuff like that, they were down there. Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 1: So it was a good opportunity for a lot of
- 37:21Speaker 1: people to be I guess it was all men because
- 37:23Speaker 1: it was supposed to be the bachelor party. So we
- 37:24Speaker 1: all got to do the rerun dance with Fred Berry,
- 37:27Speaker 1: which was which we all got to wear the costume too,
- 37:30Speaker 1: which is great, awesome with the fedora and everything. But
- 37:33Speaker 1: I mean, if you had told little Zach that he
- 37:35Speaker 1: was going to a be doing the rerun dance with
- 37:40Speaker 1: Rerun one day the same week that Amy Smart and
- 37:44Speaker 1: Lingerie would mount him tears tears to him, dreams do
- 37:54Speaker 1: come true. All right, we gotta got a break. We
- 37:56Speaker 1: got a good break. UM, thank you all for being here,
- 37:58Speaker 1: and we love you. Yeah, we're so excited that we
- 38:00Speaker 1: get to do this for you, guys man, and your
- 38:03Speaker 1: appreciation of this show is well received. We appreciate. So.
- 38:08Speaker 1: On that note, please listen to some people selling new stuff.
- 38:11Speaker 1: We'll be right back. And hey, guys, I'm sorry, guys,
- 38:26Speaker 1: hold poster for a second. Sorry, some shit's sucking up
- 38:28Speaker 1: on my computer. Hold on one second. Oh Jesus, interrupt
- 38:32Speaker 1: the interrupted playing music for the All right, here we go.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I hope you do little music for interrupting Bill. I'm
- 38:39Speaker 1: interrupting the interrupting Bili no no, no, no, no, no
- 38:43Speaker 1: no no. So I just wanted to get that over
- 38:47Speaker 1: with quick. I wanted to interrupt the interrupting bill with
- 38:51Speaker 1: five to six seven eight. I mean, it's not a
- 38:53Speaker 1: well thought out one. But now we're back to the
- 38:55Speaker 1: other that it interrupted. Welcome back, guys. I want to
- 39:02Speaker 1: start by um saying that, um, this podcast isn't for you.
- 39:10Speaker 1: When I first came up with the idea of this
- 39:12Speaker 1: podcast and having you guys occasionally host it, it wasn't
- 39:18Speaker 1: so Zach could go to London or Donald could golf
- 39:21Speaker 1: with his kids. Um, it was so week after week
- 39:25Speaker 1: you can provide people with content with my podcast for
- 39:28Speaker 1: them to listen to. So I'm glad you're back, but
- 39:31Speaker 1: let's not let a week go by like that again. UM.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Today's question is about recurring jokes. And just so you know,
- 39:42Speaker 1: I know you're gonna talk a lot about the thumb
- 39:44Speaker 1: pinky scene with Neil Flynn, and I would hope that
- 39:49Speaker 1: you guys would mention innuendo because it's one of the
- 39:52Speaker 1: classic Todd lines. But I will ask you right now
- 39:55Speaker 1: that if you can figure out what the writing stuff
- 40:00Speaker 1: 's favorite recurring joke was that started in this episode,
- 40:06Speaker 1: and to give you one clue, it is something in
- 40:11Speaker 1: the writer's room that we imagined what that event would
- 40:14Speaker 1: be like for quite some time. I will give you
- 40:17Speaker 1: another clue. If you can't get it what the event
- 40:22Speaker 1: would be, what is he talking about? I don't know.
- 40:30Speaker 1: A joke that started in here was originally in the
- 40:32Speaker 1: writer's room and became the first time we see it
- 40:34Speaker 1: is in TI twenty one. A joke that they laughed
- 40:38Speaker 1: a lot about in the writer's room of what it
- 40:40Speaker 1: would be like to go to what did we go? Well,
- 40:44Speaker 1: there's the there's the wedding, the wedding at the at
- 40:49Speaker 1: the hospital right any of you listening though, are you?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Are you thinking at home what the answer is? There's
- 40:55Speaker 1: probably a lot of you screaming at your listening device
- 40:58Speaker 1: right now, and you know the answer. I don't know.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Let's hear another clue, Daniel. This is a little cryptic
- 41:03Speaker 1: and play a little more. Okay, your other clue if
- 41:07Speaker 1: you need it. If you don't, you can skip this,
- 41:09Speaker 1: uh Daniel on Joel, Hey, guys, thank you for continuing
- 41:13Speaker 1: to come through in my podcast on a day to
- 41:16Speaker 1: day week tweak basis. The other clue is it's about
- 41:20Speaker 1: nurse Roberts and her home wife. Oh it has to be.
- 41:24Speaker 1: We might have talked about the opening brown Pool. No,
- 41:27Speaker 1: it's something she says. I wasn't even I didn't even
- 41:29Speaker 1: write it down. But she says something about her husband
- 41:32Speaker 1: and how he's not allowed to use the oven. Is
- 41:37Speaker 1: his name is his name Leicester? I think her husband's
- 41:41Speaker 1: name is Lester. She said she's on the phone. This
- 41:44Speaker 1: is what she gets in trouble for because she barks
- 41:45Speaker 1: at a patient who wants a pillow and she said
- 41:48Speaker 1: something about Lester. I don't want, you know, I don't
- 41:50Speaker 1: want to use an oven when I'm not at home.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Let's see, let's see what it is. It is, all right.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Our favorite recurring joke in the writer's room was about
- 41:59Speaker 1: Nurse Roberts above ground pool party and how anytime it
- 42:03Speaker 1: was ever mentioned it was obviously in all time off
- 42:06Speaker 1: the Hook party. I love at her house and I
- 42:13Speaker 1: love that it was not a pool party, but it
- 42:16Speaker 1: was an above ground pool party because Nurse Roberts pool
- 42:19Speaker 1: is above ground. I miss you, guys, I love you,
- 42:23Speaker 1: welcome back. We love you too. Bill. Oh, that's funny.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I didn't realize that Nurse Roberts above ground bood party
- 42:31Speaker 1: was always like off the Hook. I said it though,
- 42:34Speaker 1: I said, nerd ground, Nurse Roberts above the ground pool party.
- 42:37Speaker 1: You said no, no, no, no, you did say you're right.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I was looking for a deeper cut, but but yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 1: you're right. Um, Nurse Roberts above groundoop party does come
- 42:45Speaker 1: up multiple times and throughout the series, and whenever it does,
- 42:48Speaker 1: it's always like shit went down, like it was Chris,
- 42:51Speaker 1: but he chokes the shit out of Ted at the party. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: and it didn't help. It did whatever they were arguing about,
- 42:58Speaker 1: and him choking ted it didn't help. So yeah, that
- 43:01Speaker 1: sounds awesome. I don't think j D and Turk were
- 43:03Speaker 1: ever invited to to said party. I don't think they were.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I don't think they were. Say it good, what's the matter? Comes? Okay, comes?
- 43:15Speaker 1: We have the exterminator here. Hi, Hi, Casey, Hi. Put
- 43:21Speaker 1: the headphones on her Donald so we can I can
- 43:23Speaker 1: hear you. How are you doing? I'm good, I'm good.
- 43:28Speaker 1: How are you are you bringing the exterminator into this room? Yes,
- 43:32Speaker 1: Oh that's gonna be exciting. This is doing. Hi, hi
- 43:37Speaker 1: wan hi? Hey, I think one. I think one might
- 43:41Speaker 1: exterminate my house. One one comes to your house too?
- 43:44Speaker 1: Oh hie me, hey one? How are you man? All right?
- 43:52Speaker 1: That's great. One does a great job. Yeah, we love one.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Oh there you got on the show. Yeah, we want
- 43:59Speaker 1: you on the show more and more. Oh yeah, I
- 44:01Speaker 1: started spinning. I got my I got my peloton. I know,
- 44:05Speaker 1: but you won't let me know your name so I
- 44:06Speaker 1: can find know. Casey wanted to know my my my
- 44:09Speaker 1: user name, and I was like, first of all, I
- 44:11Speaker 1: suck so bad. I don't want to let me get
- 44:13Speaker 1: let me get let me get going a little bit
- 44:15Speaker 1: before I start handing out my user name, and and
- 44:17Speaker 1: let you know how bad I am. Yeah, work yourself up,
- 44:19Speaker 1: because have you done this up? I found a gal
- 44:23Speaker 1: I like. She's a British gal, of course, and her
- 44:26Speaker 1: name's LeeAnne, I think. And she does a pop a
- 44:30Speaker 1: pop one because I like to work out to pop
- 44:31Speaker 1: music Kelly and and um, she was good. She was good.
- 44:35Speaker 1: So what's the what's the guy's name? Oh, Cody, Cody.
- 44:38Speaker 1: That's Cody. That is the business man. He might be
- 44:44Speaker 1: too hard for people. I have ever Cody listened to
- 44:47Speaker 1: and rode a bike or I'm going to write that
- 44:49Speaker 1: down Cody. I have to literally, when Donald does the bike,
- 44:52Speaker 1: have to come upstairs and check to make sure he's
- 44:54Speaker 1: actually writing because he's lapping hysterically the entire time. Mutually
- 44:58Speaker 1: he's on the bike, Donald, do you phone? She didn't
- 45:00Speaker 1: you really go for it? I really go for it.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Casey goes like extremely hard though, well look at her,
- 45:06Speaker 1: look at it. I mean, Casey, you're a walking ad
- 45:08Speaker 1: for fucking Peloton. Look at her. Yeah, I'm very competitive
- 45:13Speaker 1: with the board, like I try to like passy Peloton people.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I just wanted. She tries to get into the hundreds, like,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I just want to tell what I want to tell
- 45:22Speaker 1: the people at Peloton if any of you are listening,
- 45:24Speaker 1: that Casey Cobb should literally be your spokesperson because she
- 45:28Speaker 1: has never looked so damn good ever. Oh thanks that
- 45:32Speaker 1: you know that's that's Peloton doctor real friends advertising. Well
- 45:39Speaker 1: we're giving it to him for free right now, but
- 45:41Speaker 1: but away, but listen, perfect person for you, Cob. Thank you, guys.
- 45:48Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right, we gotta get back
- 45:50Speaker 1: to it. I'll see you later. See everybody, see everybody.
- 45:57Speaker 1: We share everything down and I even exterminators. We do. Um. Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 1: So I tried Leanne and she's bubbly and British and
- 46:07Speaker 1: uh and she and she even has I haven't done
- 46:10Speaker 1: it yet, but she has a musical theater ride. I
- 46:12Speaker 1: was like, had Donald, you gotta do it. There was
- 46:18Speaker 1: like in there, I bet you the Disney songs. Let
- 46:21Speaker 1: it go. You know that's the number one freaking No.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I think it's an a Laddin. I think it's an
- 46:26Speaker 1: Aladdin one or something. Gotta keep one jump ahead of
- 46:29Speaker 1: bread line, ahead of the hop. But you know how
- 46:33Speaker 1: you can you can think I'll take a stroll around
- 46:35Speaker 1: the block. Donald, Donald, you know how you can put
- 46:38Speaker 1: on filters so you can put on, just put on.
- 46:41Speaker 1: You can choose what music you want anyway, you can
- 46:43Speaker 1: foot the teacher, and how long you want to go,
- 46:45Speaker 1: what level you're at, and the type of music. And
- 46:48Speaker 1: I put all that in and Leanne singing show tunes
- 46:51Speaker 1: came up and I was like, okay, but I haven't
- 46:54Speaker 1: done it yet. The best musical to work out too,
- 46:58Speaker 1: Like you had to pick the musical, it would have
- 47:00Speaker 1: to be. Listen when I was and this is gonna,
- 47:03Speaker 1: This is gonna. When I was I was doing this
- 47:06Speaker 1: play in San Diego, Picasso at the Lapan a Yield
- 47:11Speaker 1: written by Steve Martin. I listened to La La Land
- 47:15Speaker 1: like it was going out of style there, like it
- 47:19Speaker 1: was going out of style. Everything was. When I was
- 47:21Speaker 1: working out City of Stars, Ah, you're shining just for me.
- 47:28Speaker 1: But dude, lu dude, dude. Sonod went through a period
- 47:33Speaker 1: where he would um get drunk on on a plane
- 47:36Speaker 1: and then start tweeting, um how pissed he was about
- 47:41Speaker 1: the end of La La Lamb. She's ungrateful, She's ungrateful. Everything.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I would just be like I'd be looking at my
- 47:49Speaker 1: Twitter and I'd be like, oh shit, he's drunk on
- 47:51Speaker 1: on the airplane again. And and I bet his tears
- 47:53Speaker 1: in his eyes because he's watched the end of LA
- 47:55Speaker 1: and he just pissed me off. Yeah, and you do
- 48:00Speaker 1: your tirade for the people, but people people who love.
- 48:06Speaker 1: We have a new segment called Things that Upset Donald
- 48:09Speaker 1: about the end of a lot of that they broke up, right, Grant,
- 48:13Speaker 1: it was his fault. He was supposed to be at
- 48:15Speaker 1: the show. He didn't make it. He was all about himself, yes,
- 48:20Speaker 1: but he redeems himself by freaking taking the call from
- 48:24Speaker 1: the casting director, driving all the way to Colorado. Right, Yeah,
- 48:33Speaker 1: is Boulder Boulder City? No Boulder Colorado? You're correct? Is it? No?
- 48:38Speaker 1: Because it was No, it's Colorade in Colorado, irrelevant. He
- 48:43Speaker 1: takes a long drive. He takes a long drive and
- 48:46Speaker 1: the way and the reason why he knows it is
- 48:48Speaker 1: because it's the house across from the library in this
- 48:51Speaker 1: small town that she lives in. So he finds her
- 48:55Speaker 1: delivers the message, Yo, look you got an audition for
- 48:59Speaker 1: a big casting director. This is huge. We know the
- 49:02Speaker 1: movie you're going. And she's like, I'm not going He's like, well,
- 49:06Speaker 1: I'm going back tomorrow. You can ride with me. He
- 49:08Speaker 1: takes her to set audition. She auditions for the show,
- 49:13Speaker 1: and that's the best song in the home movie. Ahead,
- 49:16Speaker 1: I disagree. It's not the best song. It's a wonner,
- 49:19Speaker 1: and she cries, go ahead anyway. She slays. She slays
- 49:24Speaker 1: the audition emmaste love. He gets the part. At the
- 49:28Speaker 1: end of it, she says to him, what's gonna happen
- 49:32Speaker 1: between us? And he's like, well, you know, we're just
- 49:35Speaker 1: gonna have to see what happens because when you get
- 49:38Speaker 1: this part, and she's like, if I get this part,
- 49:40Speaker 1: and he's like so supportive. He's like, no, when you
- 49:42Speaker 1: get this part, you're gonna have to give it everything
- 49:44Speaker 1: you got because the part takes The part takes her
- 49:47Speaker 1: all the way to Paris, where she's gonna have to
- 49:50Speaker 1: live for a year. They're gonna film that. She's gonna
- 49:52Speaker 1: live there first where they develop it, and then they're
- 49:54Speaker 1: gonna film it there. Like the parts totally catered to her,
- 49:58Speaker 1: so at the end of it, she's gonna look like
- 50:00Speaker 1: the biggest movie star. She goes to Paris. It cuts
- 50:03Speaker 1: to five years later, go ahead. She hasn't seen this
- 50:10Speaker 1: dude since he told her that they said I love
- 50:13Speaker 1: you at the freaking observatory, the Griffith Park Observatory where
- 50:18Speaker 1: they last where they last spoke. I'm literally, I'm literally
- 50:24Speaker 1: getting sad. She accidentally walks into his his his uh
- 50:32Speaker 1: jazz club right, which she thought he would never do
- 50:36Speaker 1: because he was such a wild card, and he even
- 50:39Speaker 1: changed the name to the name that she wanted him
- 50:41Speaker 1: to change it to. Walks in sits in the front
- 50:47Speaker 1: fucking row. Surprised lecus Gera. And not only am I here?
- 50:56Speaker 1: Not only it right? No, it's a big movie star
- 50:58Speaker 1: that you used to date, that you were in love with,
- 51:01Speaker 1: that I told you I loved you, that you get
- 51:02Speaker 1: You know what, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't
- 51:04Speaker 1: be where I'm at right now. But here I am
- 51:09Speaker 1: accidentally with my husband who I have now had a
- 51:13Speaker 1: kid with, and I've forgotten all about you. And he
- 51:18Speaker 1: takes her on this little journey. Now you're mad. That
- 51:21Speaker 1: used to used to want to be part of your
- 51:22Speaker 1: drunk airplane lata land tirades used to be Why why
- 51:27Speaker 1: didn't she fly him over or fly why didn't she
- 51:30Speaker 1: make an effort to have him in her life now
- 51:32Speaker 1: that she became rich. Why as soon as that movie
- 51:36Speaker 1: was done, she should have been like, hey, look it's
- 51:38Speaker 1: over with. Let's what are you doing with your life?
- 51:43Speaker 1: And he should have been like, oh, it's he gave
- 51:45Speaker 1: her a space. Look. Someone once told me, if you
- 51:48Speaker 1: love someone, it was meant to be if it comes,
- 51:50Speaker 1: If you love someone, set them free, if they come back,
- 51:54Speaker 1: it's meant to be. Right, he set her free. Ay,
- 51:58Speaker 1: but but but but sad. What I thought, so, what
- 52:02Speaker 1: I thought was so beautifully tragic about it is that
- 52:04Speaker 1: I thought it was real life. You can go that
- 52:07Speaker 1: deep with someone and then life takes you all the
- 52:10Speaker 1: way over there, and all of a sudden you're on
- 52:12Speaker 1: a different trajectory. And that's what's so heartbreaking about it,
- 52:16Speaker 1: because when they come together in that jazz club, Damian
- 52:19Speaker 1: Chazelle brilliantly takes you on a little daydream of what
- 52:23Speaker 1: life could have been. That's the most heartbreaking part of
- 52:25Speaker 1: the movie. That's why that's why it's so heartbreaking, because
- 52:28Speaker 1: at the end of it, you see you could have
- 52:30Speaker 1: had all of the stuff that you have now and
- 52:33Speaker 1: you would have been happy like you are now. And
- 52:36Speaker 1: it would have been with the guy that supported you
- 52:40Speaker 1: to get to where you are. But that relationship Donald
- 52:43Speaker 1: might have been more confrontational and mercurial. And maybe she's
- 52:49Speaker 1: not in something maybe as passionate and sexy. But she's happy,
- 52:53Speaker 1: she has peace, she has she's content, she's got a
- 52:56Speaker 1: nice husband and a baby, and she's got this huge career.
- 52:59Speaker 1: And I think it's a debate about like, are you
- 53:02Speaker 1: gonna go with the person that drives you fucking crazy
- 53:05Speaker 1: and makes you want to pull your hair out, but
- 53:06Speaker 1: also you have such passion or are you going to
- 53:09Speaker 1: choose the life of life. I want to be more zen,
- 53:12Speaker 1: I want to be you know. Well he turned out well,
- 53:14Speaker 1: that's the and that's the other thing. Though he turned
- 53:16Speaker 1: out to be that guy though also he didn't turn
- 53:19Speaker 1: out to be the dude that was a wild card.
- 53:21Speaker 1: He turned out to be the safe bet, you know
- 53:24Speaker 1: what I mean. He got the club done, He was
- 53:26Speaker 1: very responsible about it all. He hired a bunch of people,
- 53:29Speaker 1: change his whole life around for her for her to
- 53:32Speaker 1: impress her, well, not necessarily, I don't know if it
- 53:34Speaker 1: was to impress her, but she showed him and I
- 53:39Speaker 1: an idea of what he could be, and he said, Yo,
- 53:42Speaker 1: you know what, I like that idea. And this is
- 53:44Speaker 1: somebody who everybody was trying to be like, Yo, look dude,
- 53:47Speaker 1: you're you're you're doing this all wrong. The way you
- 53:49Speaker 1: should do it is this way. And he wasn't open
- 53:51Speaker 1: and receiving anybody else's idea of how they thought he
- 53:55Speaker 1: should be, but he was open to hers. And he
- 53:57Speaker 1: does it, and she comes back and sees it. You know,
- 54:02Speaker 1: when she walked out of that place, she had to
- 54:04Speaker 1: be all confused and well, you know, this is a
- 54:10Speaker 1: Scrubs rewatch podcast. Sorry, I would like to change the
- 54:16Speaker 1: show to every every week we analyze l listen, We're
- 54:22Speaker 1: almost done. I just want to say this last part.
- 54:24Speaker 1: She gives that look back in the club that clearly says,
- 54:28Speaker 1: oh fuck what what I don't know if I don't
- 54:32Speaker 1: know if that's the look back she gives, Oh, well,
- 54:35Speaker 1: that's what's up for interpretation. In fact, my father, my
- 54:38Speaker 1: late great, amazing father, who loved the movie very much,
- 54:41Speaker 1: UM thought it was what kind of like what might
- 54:46Speaker 1: be like like still could happen. Oh that's what that's
- 54:50Speaker 1: what Casey's father says. To Casey's father. She she looks
- 54:54Speaker 1: back at him like, you know, there's still probably gonna
- 54:58Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna see you and up soon or one day.
- 55:02Speaker 1: For me. What's even more heartbreaking and beautiful about it
- 55:05Speaker 1: is it's the period at the end of a sentence.
- 55:08Speaker 1: It's it's looked back like what a time we had
- 55:11Speaker 1: and now I'm gone, And that just fucking breaks my heart.
- 55:14Speaker 1: And he's not reluctant about it. He's the one that
- 55:17Speaker 1: has already let go, obviously, Like he goes to work
- 55:20Speaker 1: every day and her face is plastered on the wall
- 55:23Speaker 1: of his jazz club. Dude, every day he walks by
- 55:27Speaker 1: her face as he's walking into his club. There's a
- 55:30Speaker 1: great song called some Other Time. It's an old standard
- 55:33Speaker 1: and the lyric is something like, oh, well, we'll catch
- 55:37Speaker 1: up some mothertime. Well there's another one called I'll See
- 55:41Speaker 1: Your Next Lifetime by Ericabadu, and it's like, I guess
- 55:44Speaker 1: I see your next lifetime. Yeah, I am heart feelings.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I'm stucker for that. I really, I really, really really
- 55:55Speaker 1: love that movie, and I don't have any patience for
- 55:59Speaker 1: anyone that doesn't, So you know, I really do love
- 56:01Speaker 1: that movie too. I've had a lot of people try
- 56:03Speaker 1: to convince me otherwise not to love them. Well, it
- 56:05Speaker 1: does feel like I feel like whenever a film is
- 56:08Speaker 1: super successful, of course it's going to become polarizing because
- 56:12Speaker 1: because that's just what happens. But I but I, for me,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I was so moved by it and I just thought
- 56:19Speaker 1: the whole thing was so beautiful that I for the
- 56:22Speaker 1: first time since I was maybe a teenager, I was
- 56:24Speaker 1: like wanting them as human beings to be together, Like
- 56:28Speaker 1: you know, all these teenagers they stand the couples that
- 56:31Speaker 1: are in movies together and all that. I felt that.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I remember feeling legit sad that Ryan Gosling and Amastone
- 56:37Speaker 1: were not together in real life because I so was
- 56:40Speaker 1: invested in them as a couple. That's like the Notebook,
- 56:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but after seeing after they really dated after
- 56:48Speaker 1: that's like that was after you saw the Notebook, You're like,
- 56:50Speaker 1: those two got to be together in real life. Man,
- 56:52Speaker 1: there's no way those doing dat. I was I was remember,
- 56:55Speaker 1: I remember feeling melancholic that that they were that they
- 56:58Speaker 1: were not ever going to be together in real life.
- 57:01Speaker 1: So silly, But that's great art. That's great art. It
- 57:04Speaker 1: gets you all riled up. Go ahead, jan all I
- 57:07Speaker 1: was going to add is that I think the value
- 57:09Speaker 1: of them not being together is that it promotes the
- 57:12Speaker 1: conversation that we're having right now. It allows everybody to
- 57:15Speaker 1: have kind of different feelings and thoughts about how it goes,
- 57:17Speaker 1: because no one is going to, let's say they get
- 57:19Speaker 1: together at the end. No one is going to watch
- 57:20Speaker 1: that movie and say, I think they should have broke up.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I think she should have steck back and broke up.
- 57:25Speaker 1: The fact that they do it promotes as kind of
- 57:27Speaker 1: what could have happened conversation, and it's less easy that way.
- 57:31Speaker 1: It shouldn't be just Prince Charming gets the princess at
- 57:33Speaker 1: the very end. And I think when you have a
- 57:35Speaker 1: story that defies that convention, you promote a lot more
- 57:38Speaker 1: conversation like we're having right now. So a wonderful narrative
- 57:41Speaker 1: about timing, like this idea that like, had he been
- 57:43Speaker 1: this guy the whole time, they would have had that
- 57:45Speaker 1: wonderful ending. But they both had to grow as people,
- 57:49Speaker 1: and I think they both grew better apart than they
- 57:51Speaker 1: were they ever grew together. And you're just always at
- 57:54Speaker 1: each other's necks, and I do and as beautiful as
- 57:56Speaker 1: the gesture of coming out to Colorado. Was was it
- 57:59Speaker 1: enough to make up for the three three and a
- 58:01Speaker 1: half years there together where it's just chaos? Oh my god. Now, well,
- 58:06Speaker 1: it wasn't mental wasn't mental torment. They seem to be
- 58:09Speaker 1: having a good time until he went on the road,
- 58:12Speaker 1: until he went on the road and started. Uh, and
- 58:15Speaker 1: that's tough becoming. Yeah, you don't want to you don't
- 58:18Speaker 1: want I mean think it's very hard to day a
- 58:20Speaker 1: touring musician. I mean, anyway, my point, my point of
- 58:23Speaker 1: the whole thing is, yes, I love that movie. It
- 58:26Speaker 1: kind of reminds me of Casablanca and the fact that
- 58:29Speaker 1: at the end they go separate, and for years to
- 58:31Speaker 1: come people will be arguing why they should have stayed
- 58:35Speaker 1: together or why it was right for them to be separated.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It's a beautiful it's a beautiful device because he's able
- 58:40Speaker 1: to Sizelle is able to have his cake and eat
- 58:42Speaker 1: it too. Because if you make a movie like that,
- 58:45Speaker 1: audience is going to be furious if they don't get
- 58:48Speaker 1: together at the end. But then it's less artful because
- 58:51Speaker 1: it's like, oh, it's just commercial. So he's able to
- 58:53Speaker 1: have his cake and eat it too. He doesn't have
- 58:55Speaker 1: them end up together, but shows you the beauty of
- 58:58Speaker 1: what it would have been like if the timing was right,
- 59:00Speaker 1: like Duell. I mean, I'm sure everybody listening can think
- 59:03Speaker 1: of someone in their life that passed through that you think,
- 59:06Speaker 1: oh my god, what might have been if that timing
- 59:09Speaker 1: was different? And and I think that's why it tapped
- 59:12Speaker 1: into so many people's heart caages. This all comes from,
- 59:18Speaker 1: This all comes from, Uh where how did this conversation begin?
- 59:23Speaker 1: That's what I'm I was talking about how you went
- 59:26Speaker 1: through a period where you got on the plane and
- 59:27Speaker 1: drunk tweeted about la la lup. But it was because
- 59:30Speaker 1: we were talking about the um the peloton and how
- 59:33Speaker 1: there's the musical theater and what's the thing that would
- 59:35Speaker 1: get you which I also have a different answer for.
- 59:38Speaker 1: But that's ahead that wicked defying gravity and you get
- 59:43Speaker 1: those goings and I will, I will pump for ours.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Did you say popular? Well, popular, it's just one of
- 59:52Speaker 1: the songs in Defined and I'm wicked. But it's just
- 59:54Speaker 1: like that in defining, I didn't know. I didn't know
- 59:58Speaker 1: that Daniel was on musical theater head like us. Ah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you know, I had ideas you're gonna be pop you
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you guys know, not thoroughly modern Millie, which has the
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: most upbeat kick songs. I saw that once with with
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the with the s Foster. I have to say something.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: There's a video that you have to watch. If you're listening,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: go look on YouTube. Christian Channo with playing the Hollywood Bowl, which,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: if you don't know, is an enormous outdoor venue in
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Los Angeles and it's probably the coolest place to do
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: a concert. And she I don't know if it's a plant,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and even if it is a plant, I don't care
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: because it's so amazing. She sings the song from from
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Wicked because because I knew you, I haven't changed. And
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: she says, I can't sing this alone. I don't. I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: don't have a Dina here, can I can? I can?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I bring someone up? And she brings up a woman
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: who's eight high school music music teacher. Have you guys
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: seen this video? Yes, great video. She's a high school
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: music teacher. And even if it's a plant, who cares.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: She's still a high school musical music teacher. And she
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: comes up and she sings with Kristin Chenna with the
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Hollywood Bowl in the most beautiful holy shit, goose bump way.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: You have to see it. It's so moving and beautiful.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Right after all right, should we go to break and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: then come back with a guest? Yes, they're so much
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: more to come back. We have We're gonna have a
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: lot to talk about. This became a Lalla Land podcast.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: But then that sometimes shit happens. We love you, right.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Sometimes it's every day. It's sun right back, all right,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: and we're about that day. We're back back to house
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: station west of Santa Fe. We're seventeen what Sweden? It was?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Nat is on his way They that guess better like
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Lala Land or they're in trouble. He loves scrubs. Yeah, man, Matt, Hey, Matt,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: there is hi Matt. What's up? Everybody? Welcome up, Welcome Matt.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: How do you say? Last name? West West, fallon West sailing,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Welcome to from to Matt West Falin Matt Fin getting
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: his standard Oprah introduction from the donor in the Matt,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, from looking at the background of your
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: camera that you like a lot of the same things
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Donald does. There looks to be some action figure type
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: action happening back there. Oh yeah, my, uh my house
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: is a friend of ours called the pop culture Palace. This.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: My bedroom is all like Ready Player one, um, your
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: dragon and stuff. My living room is all Kevin Smith,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: all the excuse stuff, bunch of posters. Nice, We've got
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: enough room, that's all John Hughes, Richard link Lighter, like,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: don't you about me? Hey, that's in this. Uh, that's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I didn't think you're gonna throw Gilmore Girls in at
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the end. That seems like that seems like that seems
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: like a turn Matt. It is my my uh my
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: wife kindres she got into it late, just a couple
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: of years ago and fell in love and then she's
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: hooked everybody else. And now our kitchen is Luke's diner,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and it's uh, it's and now she's doing art for
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: a monthly fan box Gilmore Girls stuff. So yeah, it's
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I gotta check out this Gilmore Girls. I've never seen
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a single episode either of ye. Apparently they talk really
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: right that they like talk incredibly fast and very wittily
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: like no one else no one really couldn't real life.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: But that's a that's a convention that they that they use, right,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: But but oh yeah, apparently it's great. It's fantastic, Like
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: it's it was one of those things where like she
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: is watching it and getting into it, and the next
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: thing you know, I'm sitting down and start asking questions
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: and then she's like, you go to your room and
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you watch it to answer all these questions. Matt, do
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you watch Do you watch Cobra Kai? It's it's fucking awesome.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: It's so good you watch Yeah, yeah, it's one of
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the things to bring up was Cobra Kai show. That's
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: all Donald wants to talk about. I love how wide
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: your your taste span, Donald, I have to say, because
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: of course we all know the eye of the storm
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: for you what you're but you, but you do span
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: from Cobra Kai to a lot of land and everything
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: in between. Yeah, dude, I'm I'm eclectic. Except you don't
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: really watch Breaking Back. But let's not bring that up
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: because it's a source of subject. Um. Matt, you didn't
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: want to remember the Titans, I know, but Matt, I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: have I have something. Don't bring up don't bring up
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: past wounds. That's the only movie that I've been in
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: that he's seen. I don't even think he's seen Clueless before.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: To be honest, I have seen Clueless. I have seen Clueless.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: This is fantastic because the lip bite is one of
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: my favorite things. Oh, you're man after my team lip bye. Yeah.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I put in request. I put in request for lip
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: bites all the time at my house and sometimes Matt,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: do you have a question for I actually have a question,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and you all are welcome to answer. Um, it would
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: be your top five favorite eighties movies. Oh that's five. Wow.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: In the interest of time, why don't we say top three? Okay,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Donald's go ahead, Okay, my top five eighties movies. What
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: year did Boys in the Hood come out? That's nineteen
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: ninety Yeah, I think that's think that. I think ninety one. Okay, well,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: then it's definitely do the right thing. Eighty nine's the
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: number another summer can't get no double okay, so uh
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: do the right thing? Uh weird science preach, Uh, Adventures
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: in Babysitting. Oh, the Empire strikes back. I was waiting,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and then Raiders of the Lost Ark. Okay, right, Joel,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: you want to go, oh, oh, I'm gonna pick up
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Raiders an Empire because ab um, I'm going Oh, I
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: fucked up et et. Also, I gotta take one of
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: those off Et is up there too. Sorry, okay, no problem,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: no problem. Uh, Determinator make the foot off. I think
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: it does, Yeah it does. Hell yeah, that's eighties. I'll
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: see Aliens, even though it's not my favorite version of Alien.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Uh the brand chat. It's a solid movie. Um, and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I will end. I think which Meryl Streep is my favorite?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Is it Silkwood? M M. Just don't say freaking bridges
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: over Madison County. That's later. I think Silkwood makes the
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: cut off. I'm not all right, Dan, you don't have
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: to do five, you can do three. But then there
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: were a lot of really good movies. I'm gonna steal
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: a couple. Um, sixteen Candles, eight Karate Kid, those those,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: those are those are definitely my Dan, you don't watch
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Cobra Kai. I'm getting there. I have a lot of
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Listen when you guys, when he said eighties movies, I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: know this is sort of silly, but I kind of
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: went to like the John Hughes. My brain went to
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: the John Hughes world. I wasn't thinking of like Star
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Wars Raiders. So my first three things that came to
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: my mind, we'll two were that Ouvro which is real
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: genius and weird science. And then the last was Beverly
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Hills Cup, which has gotta be eighties, right, Yeah, but
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: there's some There's so many other ones that I know
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: but worthy of this. Let me just name a couple.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Let me just know a couple that didn't make it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Romancing the Stone, The Stone didn't make it. TUTSI, TUTSI on, man,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: don't you yell? TUTSI at me? Right, Matt, Matt, what
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: are yours? Please? But but let's five, Matt. My number
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: one um, which is also my number one favorite movie
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: of all time, is Big Trouble Little China. By the way, Matt,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: did you notice did you notice in Donald's last Instagram
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: post that h that I was dressed as Kurt Russell
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: in that movie? Um? Uh Halloween. I don't know if
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you noticed that or yeah I did. I got a
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: huge kick out of that. I freaking loved it. That
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: was It was fantastic. Donald and I went to a
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Halloween party at Kate Hudson's house and I had no
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: idea what I was gonna be in, but I knew
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Kurt Russell was going to be there, so I thought,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go bigger. I'm gonna go bigger, go home,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: and and that is definitely going big. Yeah, like the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: John Wayne like impression. No, No, I didn't do that.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I just had I had a pretty darn good outfit on.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Do you know why, Matt? Do you know why he
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: didn't do that? Because he had never seen the movie.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Of course I had seen the movie. You've seen Big
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Trouble a Little China. Of course. Why do you fucking
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: insult me? Because I don't think you see a movie
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: like that, dude. Movies like that don't seem to float
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: your boat. There was no music in that movie. There
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: was no dancing in that movie. It wasn't West Side Story.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: You You dishonored me through Daniel. See what he did there?
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: He took your word I did. I took about Willis.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: He took it. What you're talking about Willis? I repurposed it.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I like it. Not that? All right? Go ahead, go ahead,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: go ahead, Matt? Sorry, what's your way? Hold up? Before
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: we go forward? What's your favorite part about Little Big Trump? No,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: we don't have time for that. Matt is not going
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to make the show, all right, Matt, continue, Let's see
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: number two. The Princess Bride. Oh, man, that's nineties. That's
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: gotta be nineties. I think, dude, look at Matt's house.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: I think he knows what movies came out with messing about.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Oh that's a good one. Uh first Feeler's Day Off.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Oh that would be in mind. It's another classic m
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: part of course. And then my I is tied between
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Bill and Ted and Transformers the movie I love that
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you got the Ted. I know that movie my heart.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: How that's Matt sing? Yeah, I usually I know that
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: movie by heart, like literally by heart. God, there's a
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: hole in the shuttle. What Decepticons I had? I had?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I had the Optimus Prime Transformer action figure thing when
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I was a class and I had the Deceptic. What's
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: the bad guy's name? I had Megatron turned into a gun,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: right right? Right? Wouldn't probably be that way in on
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: his arm he got a giant box faced their battle
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: to destroy the evil forces of the Deceptic. What a song? Um?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: All right, good one, Matt, Um? What else you got
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: another question for us? Well, since we talked about Gilmore
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Bors earlier, I noticed there was a lot of references
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: to it on scrubs. I was wondering if somebody on
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the writing staff was a fan, and maybe that's why
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: those got dropped in on occasion. I think this is
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: a Bill Lawrence question because I don't believe Bill really
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: did like Gilmore Girl. I don't think it was Bill,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: but it is a good time to bring back to
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: ask Bill segment we haven't used in a while. He's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: gonna be mad about it, but I think this is
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: a good question. He listen, let's be blunt, doesn't the
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: guy doesn't mind attention Bill? Bill? What's the deal with
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Gilmore Girls? Why did it come up so much? Was
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: there someone in particular in the writer's room who was
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: a fan? Why? Why so much Gilmore Girls talk? The
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: answer is no, But with explanation, there was no one
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: that especially loved the Gilmore Girls in our writer's room,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: though we all thought it was a good show. We
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: did think as a writing staff that j D and
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Turk loved the Gilmore Girls because they spoke so fast
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: and they spoke so true. But what we will tell
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: you is that we decided early on in the writer's
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: room that Turk and JD loved TV. Turk could sing
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the theme to Sanford and songs and do his own words.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: They both fantasized about doing the rerun dance. They said, hey, hey, hey,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: what's happening. Roge JD's original fantasy guy was Jimmy Walker
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: from Good Times. They knew every line to Fletch. JD
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: even had a fantasy with cheers of the theme song
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: about writing about how sitcoms make you feel better. So
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: they were two guys that loved television and made a
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: thousand television references. But I bet you I could pick
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a couple that there. We did even more often than
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Gilmore Girls, and we only did Gilmore Girls like five
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: or six. I'm not going to do it. We only
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: did Gilmore Girls a couple of times. But man, they
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: loved TV. Thank you Bill for that thoughtful answer and
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: for not trying to do another five, six, seventy. Oh
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: he's gonna try. Yeah, all right, Matt, Now it's time
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: for everybody's favorite segment. Uh. You know people are talking
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: about this from Los Angeles to Timbuctoo. It's time to
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: fix your life? Yeah buddy, all right, yead buddy, how
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: can we fix your life? We're ready? So you guys
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: have kind of already started on that. Um I have
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: been since then. You're welcome. You're welcome, Yes, exactly. Since
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: right before COVID started, I wasn't going anywhere on top
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: of being safe, but my wife and youngest son are
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: both Type one diabetics with a very high risk, so
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: we were super safe and cautious about everything. And I started,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: you know, I'm stuck at home and working from home. Um,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: and so I started, you know, I'm finally try to
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: lose weight and getting shaped, get that blood pressure down.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: So I started going on on runs, and your Guys
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: podcast has been in my ears almost every time I run.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: So I'm down more than thirty pounds so far. Yeah,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: turn you it's turned. Oh I want to add war
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: games to my list. Speaking of turning the key. Okay, sorry,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: guess So I'm feeling much better. But I've gone now,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: um over eighty days now working out and interminute fasting,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: and but this is the longest I've ever gone since
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: my wife was pregnant with my oldest son, who's fifteen,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: since I gained sympathy weight when she was you know,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: eating with our first child, and I still hadn't gotten
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: rid of it. And I always fall off and end
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: up like find an excuse not to work out one
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: day and that turns into several days. The next thing
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: you know, I'm sitting on my ass eating cheetos. You know.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: So any tips you guys have to stay motivated in
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: a situation like that, to not give up the keep
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: ye yes, go ahead, Zack. It all comes down to
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the whiteboard that we preach about a lot on the show.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: What I do and I do this, I do this
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: every week. Well you could do it two ways, multiple ways.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: It's kind of reverting back to when you're a kid
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and your parents would give you a sticker for doing
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: something positive. It's about having a streak. So what I
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: do is I create a box of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: And it's just simple. It's not, it doesn't it's just something,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: just boxes on a whiteboard. But when I go to
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: the gym and I do my workout, I go and
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I give myself a smiley face. Right now, I do
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: not want a fucking blank in that. I want to
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: keep my streak going. Yeah, it's like the kids on Snapchat.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: They're keeping their streaks going. I do not want a
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: break in that. And when I do, when something happens
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: that I don't do it, I feel shitty and I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: go and I put a big, big red X. Now
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: you can do this. Another way I've done this is
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: just print out a printable calendar and buy some cheap
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: stickers off of I've done this, by the way, when
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I wanted to take alcohol breaks too, because some times
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I feel like, you know what, I'm drinking too much.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I should be And I'll do it with I'll just
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: get a printable calendar and I'll literally put on um
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: stickers every day I don't drink, or in this case,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: every day that I work out. And I know it's silly,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: but it taps back into what we the way we
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: felt as kids. And you're like, I don't want to
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: are you kidding me? I'm not gonna fuck up my
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: sticker today. I want to get my sticker. I want
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: to get my smart face. And that really has helped me.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Another thing a very expensive shrink told me that I'll
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: pass on to you for free, is that he said
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: not to let one little dip or one little failure
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: day set you on a trajectory of going, oh fuck
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: it all is lost, Like that's that's bad, Like you're
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: gonna if you have a day where you miss something
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: came up, or maybe you just said fuck it whatever,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: don't let that then crumble the whole thing. Don't let
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: that spin you wall out, acknowledge it happened, and then
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: get back on the horse. That's great, Donald. Do you
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: have anything to happen well for me so far? Yeah,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: like us in a day and then being like, you
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: know what, that was just one or get back at it. Yeah.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I you know, I struggle with this myself, Matt, and
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: so what Zach just said I took to heart. You
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: know what I mean, I know how you feel as
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: one as someone who struggles with weight loss and gaining weight.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: My issues are once I taste it, I gotta taste
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: it again, you know what I mean. It's like I'm
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: addicted to I'm addicted to it. So yeah, man, I
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: as far as doing that, I don't have any tips
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: other than what Zach just said. I want I'm gonna
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: try them myself. You know what I mean. I don't
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: think I want to add is that Donald constantly puts
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: himself in a tricky situation from my perspective by having
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: it in the house. If I have a planet, Ben
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: and Jerry's in my freezer. It's gonna get fucking eaten.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: It's just it's like it's like a cokehead having coke
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: on his desk. It's not gonna work. So I don't
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: have it in my house now. If I'm in a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: phase where I'm like this is what this this is
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: by the way, I'm not saying I don't indulge. This
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: is in a phase where I'm like like trying to
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: get in shape, like you're kicking ass losing weight. When
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I'm in a phase of like, Okay, come on, buddy,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: let's fucking get back at it. I won't have Ben
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and Jerry's in my house. I won't have those things
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: that you can't. And you know, for Donald it's like
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: fried chicken, Like I wouldn't have fried chicken in my house.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: That'd be crazy because I'd eat So you got you
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: gotta put yourself in a position where the only thing
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: to eat is baby carrots and gts, kombucha and things
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: that things that are are healthy and not fatty, you
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: know what I mean. That's the problem though, man, So
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I said, you know what, I'm gonna take all of
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: those things out of the house and I check them
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: all out of the house, and then I learned how
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: to make them. You know what I mean. Then don't
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: have ingredients to make them in your house, but they're
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: everything that everything can be made from natural ingredients, though, Dude,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I could make freaking a cake from flour and sugar
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: and everybody needs that, I know, but they take more time. Dude.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: It's like, it's like, if you're sitting down to make
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: a cake, then you're not really trying. Come on. It's like,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: but if there's a juicy ass taking your fridge, know
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: what you're doing. It's easier to just grab. Like in
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: my house, we got lots of sugary stuff because my
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: wife and center diabet We have to have stuff so
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: they can get their blood sugar up. So that's always around,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: and it's it's so much easier just to be like, yeah,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I'll just you know, just grab one real quick. But
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: when you have to really think, Matt, You're gonna think
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I'm joking. But what if they put that in a
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: in a cheap safe that you didn't know the combo
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: too well? I mean I would say that could work. However,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I'm the one who asked everybody's passports for everything, because
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I'm sure you would be. That would be a hilarious scene,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: just Matt in the room with the safe, just trying
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: to break that shit open. I actually have a padlock
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: top for Ben and Jerry's points. I mean, it's it's
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: kind of like a joke because obviously you just rip
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that thing open. But um, but they have a they
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: they sell a padlock top for Ben and Jerry's I
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: know what I would be used to break it. I've
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: got this right here, match, Just Matt just brought it.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I have to tell what's going on. Matt just raised
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: a giant thorhammer into frame with the Okay, time for
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: the Oklahoma City Thutter. That's right, they're hype squad. So
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: all right, let's do when you look at the Houston
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Rockets when the Houston Promotions, when the Houston Rockets lost
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: to the Los Angeles Lakers the way that they did,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: how did that make you feel. Let's be honest, Matt,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it hurt. It hurt because it hurt when the Houston
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Rockets lost. Well, no, it hurt that it felt good
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: that they lost and it felt good to see that
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: that the inferior Beard went down. No, no, but it's
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: It was weird because like, so this is I've been
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: doing since two thousand and twelve, and I this was
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: gonna be my last year. And then because as a
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: COVID like I couldn't risk it, didn't know what what
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: was gonna be doing. But when he said we're gonna
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: be doing just online, I was like, I can do that.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I can do that from home. So I was able
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: to keep extending this season. And then is there a way, man,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: is there a way that we Is there a way
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: we could see or our our listeners could see you
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: in action? How do we how do is there a
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: YouTube revide or anything? Well, now you can't. That's why.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: That's why I'm saying it hurt because they lost. Now
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you can't do the problem. But I'm saying, is there
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: a video of him being a hype man somewhere? I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: have videos and I can I can tweet you guys
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: for years. I'm like the fat four, that's funny, but
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: now you're gonna be skinny thor that that's the plan
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and that the thunder is actually how I became friends
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: with with the Rob the Todd Rob Maschio. He's a
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: big NBA fan and uh, and I'm actually rocking one
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: of his old five five shirts. And yeah, well, we
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: love we gotta have Rob on the show. We keep,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: we keep Donald Joe. Well we got maybe the beginning
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: of we're about to go into season three. We gotta
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: do Rob beginning of season three. Yeah. Absolutely. I told
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: him I was gonna be on today and told me
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: it's like, you got this, you'll crush it. Well you
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: did crush it. You did crush it. Not only not
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: only are you a great guest, Matt, but also I
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: think you're an inspiration to a lot of people. I mean,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: I mean, so many people battle uh wait, and it
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: doesn't matter what weight you're starting at. There's so many
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: people listening. And I know Donald Deny battle wanting to
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: stay healthy. And I think you're a real inspiration because
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you even during COVID you said fuck it, I'm gonna
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: get it done, and you did it. And I think
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I'm really proud of you. That being said, You're welcome,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: You're welcome, You're welcome. We just stiched jar Live. Thank
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: you all right, Dan, Dan give him a thunder is
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: applause and and Matt, thank you so much for coming
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: on the show. Are you guys cool if I give
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: a quick shout out real quick, yeah, ad okay, m
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: My younger brother, Justin is an er doctor in Denver,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: so he's out there fighting the covid. Um. We keep
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: in touch very often and we have like a group
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: text between him and my other brothers, like keeping each
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: other motivated. And now we're all trying to lose weight.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: My brother is jacked. He's like just so he's already done,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: but the rest of us and tried to get on
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: his level. So I wanted to give him a shout out,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: um for you know, I mean being a doctor and
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: being out there and all this craziness and everything he
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: can to help people and helping me get in shape
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: and the rest of my family and um um. I Also,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I have a podcast called do It Doug. It's a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Kevin Smith fan podcast. So you know, I'm not trying
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: to I'm just sorry. I'm gona getting a little excited.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I got all this stuff. Matt, Matt, we try and
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: limit the guests to two plugs. You got a shout out?
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: This one is for Donald, a friend in rest Burnley game.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: He works at Combo dot Com. He is giving Josie
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: the pussycats, the Shade Toronto treatment and doing that's awesome.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: I told him that I would drop that, but you know,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: hopefully he'll try to reach out and get some interviews
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: with you or something. But he is working on that
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: as we speak. Okay, okay, Matt, you are cut off.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: You are cut off from shoutouts, but you're you're an
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: awesome guest. And stay healthy and and and let's keep
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: in touch. That's good for you. Hold up, let me
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: get flying, Let me get flying. This is a practice
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: because we're doing our group voter today. Perfect. Thank you
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: guys so much, Thank you, Thank you all. Easy. What
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: a great guy could work? Well? So I have a question. Yeah,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: when Jad accidentally breaks the glass table, realizing that his
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: relationship ship with tasty comma wife is probably at an end,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: ye accidentally, it's not on purpose that he breaks the glass, say,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: but it breaks and it riles her up. Have you
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: ever been in a relationship like that where you're like, look,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: I know this isn't going to go anywhere, but I'm
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: not ready to let go yet. Of course, of course,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: of course, of course, right how many times I'm going
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: to say of course? But my question is, what does
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: that do with her then though, Man, if she's if
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: all she's missing is that drama, and you provide the drama.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: My whole problem with it was she had this whole
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: time to have the drama with her husband being in
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: a coma and everybody. She's addicted to it. She needs
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: there to be tension, she needs there to be danger,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: she needs there to be an adrenaline rush in order
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: to be turned on. And in this case, we're kind
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: of joking because it's it's meant to like like it
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: turns around sexually. But I think there's plenty of people,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: male and female, who thrive on their always being conflict around.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: They're always being drama. I can't stand those type of people.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: Oh it's horrible. I can't be around that type of person, man, horrible.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Like I always wonder how did these motherfuckers get into
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: this loud ass argument right here? Like you know what
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: I mean? Like, whoa? Why do you think that all
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: of us in this area want to be a part
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: of what you guys are fighting about. You know what
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: you're saying. You're saying it like it's never happened to you.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: You've never been a relationship where the person was like
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: causing so much conflict, and you're just like, really, why
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: is there need to be all this? I've gotten out
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: of those types of right, that's the relationship that you
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: get out of right away. If you go out with
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: someone you sometimes you sometimes endure it because they look.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: I see the shit on World Star. I've been seeing
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: this shit on all these things where the dude takes
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: the young lady out, or the young lady takes the
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: dude out, whatever it is, and one of them loses
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: their shit so much that violence or yelling or water
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: being thrown or glass breaking or something like that happens,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: and the other person still leaves with that with the person,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: get the phone out of here. I don't want to
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: be with you. Yeah, you gotta be out of your mind.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: You gotta If I'm at a restaurant and you get
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: loud at the restaurant and start yelling at me at
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: the restaurant so everybody can hear, and you do a
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: show in front of all these people and then expect
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: me to take you home or get in the car
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: with you. You out of the young motherfucking mind. You
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: gotta be crazy. You're crazy, You're You're I don't I
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: don't even want to say it's crazy because because that's
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: not even the right word. You're you're, you're. There's no
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: way that's happening. There's no way, in the words of
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: George Bush Junior, there's no way that's happening. You can't
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: fool me. Twice, I thought it was funny when j
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: so JD's trying to like get all these dramatic moments
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: going because it turns tasty, come a wife on and
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: the one that made me laughed at most. He goes
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: he throws his salad because I don't want salad, that's why.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: And then he's like trying to get in fights at
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: the bar. He tries to get in fights with the
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: with the little little guy, and then it turns out
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: but it's the big guy and he's like, no, no,
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: it was him, No, no, it was it was a
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: little guy. Yeah. Oh man, but but it worked. That's
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: when she does her double finger almost nipple lick or
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: nipple rub, whichever one. Yeah, don't you see if you
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: go back and watch it, that's what she was about
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: to do. She's like this, and then she's like, that's
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: not appropriate. I'll do that. I love that they get
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: that in. It was funny um innuendo. We have to
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: talk about it because Bill requested it and billed great
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: double on trond to Classic in Your End up in
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: Your and they replaced don't You Forget About Me from
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: from Simple Minds and this and the one I saw
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: from Simple from Wait hold up, they replaced don't Forget
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: about Me. The song is by the band's Simple Minds
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: and from Breakfast Club. When he puts his face to me, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: boom bound baron baron bound baron. No, No, don't don't
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: don't do bound, don't you anyway? I I my and
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: my h iTunes one. It had been changed. Oh, I
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: didn't know the difference. Actually, you didn't notice the song
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: was gone or I didn't know. You watch on Hulu,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: right yeah? Oh maybe on Hulu it's still there. I
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: don't know. It might not be. But I didn't know
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: what the song was. Originally it was no no, it
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: was don't You Forget About Me? And now I had
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: some other song. It wasn't that, okay, Oh how about
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: I convinced Elliott that stot and she says it to Aloma,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: and Aloma goes, what now? What now? But the fact
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: that that's why I like that. I also like that
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: that's one of the things that you use to get
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: h tasty coma wife to sleep with you. You turn
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: Elliott into uh one of her reasons for being jealous,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: one of her reasons for having confidentrama, you know. Yeah,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: and Elliott plays along. She slaps me in the cafeteria
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: to play along. Yeah, yeah, I mean, Elliott feels no
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: jealousy at all. I mean, for someone who's gonna we're
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: gonna eventually end up together. It's just it was just
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: interesting that the character is totally fine. She's just not
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: affected by JD being in this relationship with this beautiful
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: woman at all. Well, yeah, you know, they don't show
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: her being jealous. I imagine that I like to think
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: that Elliott was jealous this whole time. Well, she plays
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: it really well for for for someone who's you know, like,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: did Ross know that Rachel was jealous when he got
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: with Emily? You know what I mean? Like shit like that,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Like is it easy to see those type of things.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: We're going on a right for the most part, you're
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: telling the story. JD's telling the story of Scrubs, and
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: so we're pretty much seeing what his mind sees. You
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: know what I mean, you're saying, but you're not saying
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: like the story itself is skewed to JD's perspective. But
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: the most part, I think, for the most part it is.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: I mean, the storytelling is, but you're not saying like
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I mean, you're not saying like, oh, we're seeing Elliott
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: be unaffected because the stories from Jad's perspective and she's unaffected. Well,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: I think that's a better way. I don't know. I
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: don't think that. I don't think that at all. I
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: don't either. I do believe personally that Elliott is affected
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: by all of this, and it'll come out later on
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: in the future when she talks about which she'll make
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: the effort to talk about it. You know what I mean.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: What's closing up there at Joel you're playing with You're
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: playing with the mug the gifts that got from my
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: friends came their cocoa mugs from Disney. Sorry, and when
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: you pour a hot liquid in it, it changes colors.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: That's what we want. I know, it's super cute or
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: figure it out. I'm too we want that. I wanted
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: to be me and Donald And then when you put
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: hot beverage and it turns to you guys. I think
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: we have to do one on each side and then
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: it'll go from black and white to color. I think
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: that's how we have to do it. That's how this
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: cup works. I just felt like when we were talking
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to the merch guys, they were like, Oh, those are
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: gonna be expensive, and no one's gonna want to buy
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: them because by the time you manufacturers want to buy them. Well,
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: we got a lot of merch coming. By the way,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: speaking of merch, um, a lot of funny stuff in
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: the pipeline, just in time for Christmas. You're gonna get
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: some really cool things. We're not gonna give it away, Okay,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: we're not gonna away. Okay. Um. And so if you
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: go on our thing and you're like, because we have
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: T shirts now and other stuff, and if you're like,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: oh this is boring, it's just their faces. Don't warrant.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: We just want to open the stewart. We got some
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: funny shit coming. We should tell them where to find
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: that too. Yes, how do I find it? That's a
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: good question. Let me pull up from partper who helps
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: us with all of this stuffy sent us an email address,
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: and Harper is a woman. Yeah, I always start Harper
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: as a man because she conducts herself like business. No, no,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: I just I thought Harper was one of those names
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: that could be either or I think big it is
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: any seeing a sex I think you need it? Whatever? Sure,
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: all right? What's the address? Link? L A thousand emails?

- 1:34:39Speaker 1: our show notes and Donald and I are will tweet
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: out about it or something. Um, should we take our
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: class picture now while we're still live on the air? Now,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: I think bringing your face is kind of clothes like

- 1:35:06Speaker 1: to us and we'll pick them. All right, everybody, that
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: was our class photo? Um, what do you want to say? Donald?
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Thank you everyone for listening. We appreciate you. We love you.
