- 1:26Speaker 1: Look at him, Look at mom. Is there alcohol in that?
- 1:29Speaker 2: You know? The kid's version a strawberry Docory. We were
- 1:33Speaker 2: out with one of our neighbors.
- 1:34Speaker 5: She teaches at Enzo's school, nice and she actually used
- 1:38Speaker 5: to go out with us back in the day at
- 1:39Speaker 5: City Streets.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Remember back in the day when we got to the
- 1:41Speaker 2: city streets.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yeah I did.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Yeah, her and her friend who now married our friend.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Heyesus that used to work here. Well.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Anyways, she was ordering her kids a strawberry docri and
- 1:51Speaker 5: she was like, Inzo, have you ever had a strawberry
- 1:53Speaker 5: Docerate's got whipped you on top?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Like totally selling it to him. And he was in
- 1:57Speaker 2: and I couldn't.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Say no, but he enjoyed it, so my wow, his
- 2:01Speaker 5: face just lit up big when he took that of.
- 2:05Speaker 1: A real good slurpee. Yeah is what it is. But
- 2:08Speaker 1: Waiteley gets to be grown. He gets to have it
- 2:10Speaker 1: with the booze in it.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's away from now.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Well, you never know. Some start early. I started like ten,
- 2:17Speaker 3: drinking strawberry acker. Doesn't that explain a lot?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yes, I'm just kidding. I did not do that. Hell, Hell,
- 2:25Speaker 1: producer Phoo is here, what's up? Hell? Hey, my thirteen
- 2:28Speaker 1: year old Brendan is officially a young adult. He went
- 2:31Speaker 1: and got a bank account yesterday. Why I did see that? Yeah?
- 2:36Speaker 6: He was like, Dad, I want to I want to
- 2:37Speaker 6: open up a bank account and put my Christmas money
- 2:40Speaker 6: in there and just start saving.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I was like, you know what's more amazing. His balance
- 2:44Speaker 1: is already higher than yours. He already got good credits. Yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 1: that's a good thing to start. Like, can you put
- 2:51Speaker 1: the lectric in your name?
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yes?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he already has bills in his name.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Credit card, well credit Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He's like, Dad, please don't put me on your trade. Yeah. Please.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I can't even get approved for a big.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Red Oh good for you, Brendan.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah, you got a big wheel at sixty eight percent interest.
- 3:12Speaker 6: I don't, and then I'm gonna be over here on
- 3:14Speaker 6: the side a son, Can you say, zell your dad?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Twenty dollars.
- 3:18Speaker 3: That's so good because I don't know about you. But
- 3:20Speaker 3: when I was a kid, we didn't learn that kind
- 3:22Speaker 3: of stuff. We didn't learn I don't know. I didn't
- 3:25Speaker 3: know anything about credit. I didn't know anything about bank
- 3:28Speaker 3: accounts or saving money, right, I mean, I just just
- 3:31Speaker 3: I don't know. I was like, I'll figure it out
- 3:32Speaker 3: with an adult. And then when I'm an adult, I
- 3:33Speaker 3: didn't figure it out.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Right, And we're playing Monopoly.
- 3:36Speaker 5: We started that Stitch Monopoly game last night, and Enzo
- 3:38Speaker 5: was really starting to learn based on that game, like
- 3:40Speaker 5: investing and you know, charging people rent and selling and.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Auctioning and things like that. Yeah, so yeah, it's important.
- 3:47Speaker 3: My my son got a lot of money because you know,
- 3:49Speaker 3: at fourteen, they're just at that age where and you'll
- 3:52Speaker 3: see Cannis it's like what do you want and they
- 3:54Speaker 3: just want money and it's kind of like whatever. Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 3: but he got a bunch of money from people. Then
- 3:59Speaker 3: he saved it goes to me. He's like, Dad, can
- 4:01Speaker 3: you Apple pay me two hundred of my Christmas money
- 4:05Speaker 3: and then put the other two hundred in some kind
- 4:07Speaker 3: of fund or something that maybe it will collect interest.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I go, first of all, you don't have that much
- 4:13Speaker 1: relax Charles Schwab, God right, But he.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Was like telling me what to do with his money.
- 4:19Speaker 3: But it was a moment I thought, I'm like, you
- 4:21Speaker 3: know what good for you? Yeah?
- 4:22Speaker 5: I mean financial literacy is so important we should all
- 4:25Speaker 5: just take it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Anyways, speaking of money, you want to be depressed? Yes,
- 4:30Speaker 3: I found out and that you might have saw the
- 4:32Speaker 3: story that the guy who made you know, the fireplace
- 4:35Speaker 3: video on YouTube. I saw that the one that we'll
- 4:39Speaker 3: put on, you know, just to have a fire. Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 3: and it gets millions of views. That guy's made like
- 4:46Speaker 3: a million dollars for him, Is it really?
- 4:49Speaker 5: Yeah, what a brilliant idea. God, the watch time is enormous.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It is.
- 4:54Speaker 3: But just think about that that guy just decided to
- 4:57Speaker 3: do this back in the day, and now he was
- 4:59Speaker 3: one of the geninals to put just put a fireplace,
- 5:02Speaker 3: and now he's a millionaire.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:05Speaker 1: We're every morning.
- 5:09Speaker 7: These TESSAs top stories on the Tents with Billy's They
- 5:12Speaker 7: kid in the morning.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 5:15Speaker 1: S right, Candice Slow paths, What's up?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Well?
- 5:17Speaker 5: At and T just announced they are moving their headquarters
- 5:20Speaker 5: from downtown Dallas to Plano. That new location will be
- 5:23Speaker 5: at fifty four hundred at Legacy Drive. It'll span fifty
- 5:26Speaker 5: four acres. It's going to consolidate their three campuses that
- 5:30Speaker 5: are located right now in Dallas, Plano and Irving.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But a lot of people talking about this. AT and
- 5:34Speaker 2: t's global headquarters.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Has been in downtown Dallas since two thousand and eight. Uh,
- 5:39Speaker 5: they relocated from San Antonio at that time. I do
- 5:43Speaker 5: know there were some people who were really concerned about crime,
- 5:46Speaker 5: uh in the downtown area. At one point over at
- 5:49Speaker 5: AT and T they bumped up security to over one
- 5:52Speaker 5: hundred and thirty cops in the business district. But this
- 5:55Speaker 5: just sounds like they really want a more suburban style
- 5:58Speaker 5: campus rather than you know, the skyscraper of downtown Dallas.
- 6:01Speaker 5: But they're saying this is really going to impact downtown Dallas,
- 6:04Speaker 5: expecting property values to go down thirty percent because of this.
- 6:09Speaker 5: But they have ten thousand employees at their global headquarters,
- 6:13Speaker 5: so that's going to be a major move.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Oh there's thousand people down there.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah, across their three campuses.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, go on a plane out. Yeah wow. And yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 1: right where that's at too?
- 6:24Speaker 3: Well, And I thought the mayor Dallas mayor was going
- 6:26Speaker 3: to be like upset about it, mad and he goes, well,
- 6:28Speaker 3: that's just going to make more room for other opportunities
- 6:30Speaker 3: and other businesses.
- 6:31Speaker 5: I mean, I think they tried to keep AT and
- 6:33Speaker 5: T down there. But yeah, that's one, you know, take
- 6:35Speaker 5: on the whole thing for sure. But I mean, I'd
- 6:38Speaker 5: love to be downtown Dallas. I love the vibes of that,
- 6:40Speaker 5: but it can't be you know, legacy area of Plano.
- 6:43Speaker 5: I know, if you're an employee relocating.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Because most people I think live up that way anyway.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Well, guys, today is National take your Christmas Tree Down Day.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Based on tradition, you're supposed to wait until the sixth
- 6:57Speaker 5: of January to take it down. That's because of the
- 7:00Speaker 5: all the days of Christmas that ended last night. So
- 7:03Speaker 5: that's the official word for taking your Christmas treet down.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And you said you like to take it, I like
- 7:08Speaker 1: to take down right away. But twelve days of Christmas.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Wait, yeah, okay, so I would start on the twenty fifth. Yes,
- 7:13Speaker 5: last night would have been the twelfth, and today would
- 7:16Speaker 5: be when you take your Christmas decoration.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Idiot, I din started before Christmas.
- 7:20Speaker 2: That would make sense.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I thought it started before and like the twelfth day
- 7:23Speaker 1: was Christmas.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of people did.
- 7:26Speaker 5: That's why this is kind of going viral this morning,
- 7:28Speaker 5: because you know it's January sixth. This is when you
- 7:31Speaker 5: take your treat down, your decorations down. The holidays end today.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I think there's two kinds of people though. There's people
- 7:36Speaker 3: who want the tree down immediately, like me, and then
- 7:39Speaker 3: there's people who leave the tree up for a little while.
- 7:42Speaker 3: But then there's actually three type people. Then there's people
- 7:44Speaker 3: who leave the tree up all year. Yeah, some people
- 7:46Speaker 3: leave it up all year. That's a new trend. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 3: they just decorate the tree for other occasions like Halloween.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, take everything down the day.
- 7:52Speaker 5: After Halloween because that's Halloween and it's done. But like
- 7:55Speaker 5: the holidays are like a season for me, Like this
- 7:58Speaker 5: is still the Christmas season.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Comes down in the neighborhood.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Take the lights down.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I think last night was it. I don't think you
- 8:07Speaker 2: turn them on tonight.
- 8:08Speaker 1: No, well you don't, you definitely don't. You don't last night.
- 8:11Speaker 3: But like I have people who were so lit up
- 8:13Speaker 3: and I'm just like, I don't know, I'm over it
- 8:14Speaker 3: by now.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Because people started putting it up too early.
- 8:18Speaker 7: Not me.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I was only like two weeks before the Usually I
- 8:21Speaker 3: put it up in November, and I am that guy,
- 8:22Speaker 3: but I just I was too busy. But I have
- 8:25Speaker 3: to have it down right away. Mine's down, down and out.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And I was so mad this year because I had
- 8:32Speaker 3: this big tree that I bought a couple of years ago.
- 8:34Speaker 3: It's pre lit, because you know, that's the easiest.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Two weeks, two weeks.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I put up right before christou put them up and
- 8:42Speaker 3: they're already one section out.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I was like, well, what am I going to do?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Same?
- 8:45Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Then a week before Christmas, another section goes out two
- 8:50Speaker 3: days before Christmas.
- 8:52Speaker 1: The whole tree won't even light up.
- 8:53Speaker 2: We need to hit the after Christmas sale then tree
- 8:56Speaker 2: for this.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Year, they got them on at home. Okay, well I know,
- 9:02Speaker 1: but you know I'm not going to do that. There's
- 9:04Speaker 1: people who do that. Then well after Christmas sales are
- 9:06Speaker 1: going on.
- 9:07Speaker 2: H yes, okay, guys.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Ashley Tisdale going viral for exposing her toxic celebrity mom
- 9:15Speaker 5: group this morning, so I'm hearing that the moms include
- 9:19Speaker 5: people like Hillary Duff, Megan Trainer, Mandy Moore. Although a
- 9:22Speaker 5: rep for Ashley is saying this article is not about
- 9:25Speaker 5: any of them, so I guess she wrote an essay
- 9:28Speaker 5: for the cut.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It was published on her blog.
- 9:30Speaker 5: But she's calling out these moms for leaving her out
- 9:33Speaker 5: of meetups and seeing pictures of these meetups on Instagram.
- 9:37Speaker 5: She's talking about how it made her feel like, you know,
- 9:39Speaker 5: she was back in high school again, wondering if she
- 9:42Speaker 5: was cool enough. She said she initially felt lucky to
- 9:46Speaker 5: find you know, her village mom's going through the same
- 9:49Speaker 5: thing as her. I guess all these moms were basically
- 9:51Speaker 5: pregnant in the early pandemic, saying, you know, we missed
- 9:54Speaker 5: out on activities where you hang out with other first time.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Moms, which makes sense.
- 9:59Speaker 5: But she ended up reaching out to the group and
- 10:01Speaker 5: asking why she was being left out.
- 10:03Speaker 2: She says that.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Did not go over well. She didn't exactly call them
- 10:07Speaker 5: out by name, but she says, you know, they're not
- 10:09Speaker 5: bad people.
- 10:10Speaker 2: This dynamic was just not healthy and positive anymore. But
- 10:13Speaker 2: the comments are wild.
- 10:15Speaker 5: If you kind of grew up with some of these girls,
- 10:17Speaker 5: you know, on your TV, on your radio. So one
- 10:20Speaker 5: girl saying you know, this is every mean girl mom group,
- 10:24Speaker 5: another one saying, I waited on Ashley fifteen years ago.
- 10:27Speaker 5: She was rude and was super picky, super picky energy.
- 10:31Speaker 2: So I'm gonna say she's the problem.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Others are praising her for speaking up about this, but
- 10:36Speaker 5: interesting to see the.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Always nice when I interviewed her.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, that doesn't sound good.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I guarantee you interviewer more than me.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I did. I'm Kanna Slopez on Mixed one of two
- 10:52Speaker 2: point nine. We all have our day. She was sweet
- 10:56Speaker 2: to me.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I get it, all right, let's do it real or
- 11:01Speaker 3: fake news. I give you three headlines. You got to
- 11:03Speaker 3: tell me which one is the fake story. It's just
- 11:05Speaker 3: a fun way to talk about some ridiculous stuff going
- 11:07Speaker 3: on in the news.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Candice, are you ready?
- 11:09Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 11:10Speaker 1: She's not lost all year.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I'm ready.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Coca Cola.
- 11:20Speaker 3: By the way, if you want to see the video
- 11:21Speaker 3: poo because I said, hey, pooh, can you say Coca
- 11:24Speaker 3: cola without your lips touching? And he goes, it's on
- 11:27Speaker 3: my Instagram right now. At Billy on the radio, he goes,
- 11:31Speaker 3: how and then I go, well, your lips don't touch anyway? Man,
- 11:37Speaker 3: All right, here we go. First headline. College student arrested
- 11:42Speaker 3: for fishing in the bass pro Shops fish tank.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 11:47Speaker 3: College student arrested for fishing in the bass pro Shops
- 11:50Speaker 3: fish tank.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I've always wanted to jump in that. Yeah, just pro shops.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You've never even pass pro Shops?
- 11:58Speaker 3: No?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Why not?
- 11:59Speaker 5: I mean I'm a woman who doesn't fish.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're from Mosquite.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Yeah that's yeah, that's.
- 12:06Speaker 1: A right of passage.
- 12:08Speaker 4: No.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but also to Enzo would love. It's a big fish.
- 12:13Speaker 1: That's the first.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Shields is so, don't talk bad about Shields.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I'm not. I've just never been.
- 12:20Speaker 1: My second home. All right.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Next headline, Texas bartender arrested after pouring ice down customers
- 12:26Speaker 3: pants over zero tip. What Texas bartender arrested after pouring
- 12:31Speaker 3: ice down a customer's pants over zero tip? That is
- 12:35Speaker 3: headline umber two? Headline uber three. Man cuts off finger
- 12:38Speaker 3: after snake bite out of fear of dying. Then doctors
- 12:42Speaker 3: are sure assure him it was not venomous.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Man cuts off I did. I'm sorry.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Man cuts off finger after a snake bite out of
- 12:55Speaker 3: fear of dying. Then doctors assure him it was not venomous.
- 13:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Three headlines you got to tell me which one is
- 13:03Speaker 3: the fake headline?
- 13:05Speaker 1: I wish they were all fake?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yeah today, but it's pretty ridiculous.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Only one of them is fake? Which one is fake? Cannas?
- 13:11Speaker 5: I don't want to go story now, I lock me in.
- 13:13Speaker 2: For the second story, the ice in the pants? You sure? Yeah?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Are you positive?
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean I'm positive right now, Let's lock it.
- 13:20Speaker 1: In, locked in? You don't think that happened? All right?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Producer Pooh? Which one do you think is the fake story?
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the mass pro shop the first
- 13:29Speaker 1: one you think?
- 13:30Speaker 3: So?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah? You sure?
- 13:32Speaker 3: I want to lock that in? Lock me in, Lock
- 13:34Speaker 3: it in? And the winner today is producer pooh. Wow,
- 13:41Speaker 3: I think you let him win sometimes maybe.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Sometimes I'll look and I'm like, Cannas is just too nice.
- 13:49Speaker 3: She's trying to give him a heads up at the
- 13:50Speaker 3: game or something.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I made that story up, but that's just something
- 13:55Speaker 3: I've always wanted to do.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Now.
- 13:56Speaker 3: The other story is Texas bartender arrested after pouring ice
- 13:59Speaker 3: down a cusp pants over zero tip actually happened? Where
- 14:03Speaker 3: did it happen? If you had to guess what city
- 14:05Speaker 3: in Texas?
- 14:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Galveston.
- 14:08Speaker 1: No, that was rude.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Well, there's like places down there.
- 14:12Speaker 2: That that could happen.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it could happen anywhere, but it happened
- 14:15Speaker 3: in put you and a guess we're gonna say Houston.
- 14:17Speaker 1: No, it happened in Austin.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Austin police arrested a twenty seven year old bartender because
- 14:22Speaker 3: she had a confrontation with the customer over zero tip
- 14:26Speaker 3: and then he mocked her after she confronted him about
- 14:28Speaker 3: the zero tips, so she decided to pour ice down
- 14:31Speaker 3: his pants.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:32Speaker 3: It was a packed Saturday night at a local die
- 14:34Speaker 3: bar on South Congress. Wow, down there, and she decided
- 14:38Speaker 3: to go and her mugshot. She's really cute too.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's cute yea and toxic. Wow, you'll find her.
- 14:47Speaker 2: That's my type.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It was like I can help her, Yeah, I can
- 14:53Speaker 1: fix her. We can fix her either way. She was
- 14:56Speaker 1: arrested and I don't know.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I think he should have been just happy about it, honestly,
- 15:01Speaker 3: but whatever, who does that zero tip zero tip and
- 15:05Speaker 3: mocks her? I want to hear his side of the story.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Probably.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Man cuts off finger after a snake bite out of
- 15:12Speaker 3: fear that he was dying, then the doctors telling him
- 15:15Speaker 3: it was not venomous. This happened to a sixty year
- 15:18Speaker 3: old farmer in eastern China. He cut off his finger
- 15:22Speaker 3: after being bit by a snake that he thought was
- 15:24Speaker 3: highly venomous. He did that out of fear that he
- 15:26Speaker 3: didn't want the venom to spread. So he's like, let
- 15:28Speaker 3: me chop his finger off right now so it doesn't
- 15:30Speaker 3: spread to my body and I die And he cut
- 15:33Speaker 3: his finger off and he rushed to the hospital and
- 15:35Speaker 3: they were like, it wasn't venomous.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Oh, at least tell him it was. And you saved yourself.
- 15:40Speaker 3: That's when I'm okay with the doctor's line, like, thank
- 15:43Speaker 3: god you did that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Who needs that pinky anyway?
- 15:47Speaker 2: You know, forhing for nothing.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Spread though it's pretty fast.
- 15:56Speaker 2: That's what I would think.
- 15:59Speaker 3: No, I mean, I guess you could do it, like
- 16:01Speaker 3: I don't know, I'm not a survival expert, shocking, but
- 16:03Speaker 3: you're supposed to do I think like, if you get bit,
- 16:05Speaker 3: you're supposed to do like a tourniquet or something so
- 16:07Speaker 3: it doesn't spread.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Oh wow, listen, I don't know what I'm talking about.
- 16:10Speaker 6: If you happen to have Benadrill take a benadrill and
- 16:13Speaker 6: that a that'll hold it off.
- 16:15Speaker 1: It won't stop it poo.
- 16:20Speaker 3: You know what you do if you get bit by
- 16:21Speaker 3: a snake, what you do is just spray some wind
- 16:23Speaker 3: decks on it.
- 16:25Speaker 1: That's what I do.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Spray some windecks or rub a little vix on it.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Not only will you be not congested, but the venom
- 16:34Speaker 3: won't spread. Don't listen to the same guy that eats
- 16:37Speaker 3: vix for a sore throat, eats.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It like it's candy, swallows vix.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Now we understand what's wrong in his head.
- 16:47Speaker 7: Get it off your trust to promise you'll feel better.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Welcome to the dirty little secret.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Oh yes, it is time to confess. It's mixed one
- 16:54Speaker 3: or two point nine. Bailly a kid, Canni slow Pez
- 16:57Speaker 3: is here, producer who is here? And your secrets? Anytime
- 17:00Speaker 3: you want you just call us. It's a new year,
- 17:02Speaker 3: it's a new you. Get it off your chest. You're
- 17:04Speaker 3: gonna feel better if you just tell us your secrets.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine
- 17:09Speaker 3: all right, or you can always DM me and I
- 17:11Speaker 3: could set it up that way. At Billy on the
- 17:13Speaker 3: Radio on Instagram. At Billy on the Radio now you've
- 17:16Speaker 3: got a secret. What is going on?
- 17:18Speaker 4: Okay?
- 17:19Speaker 8: Well, I keep telling myself that I did a good thing. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 8: I offered a spare bedroom to someone who needed help,
- 17:25Speaker 8: someone from my church. All right, I thought that was
- 17:27Speaker 8: the right thing to do, and for the first couple
- 17:30Speaker 8: of weeks it felt that way. The guy is so polite, helpful,
- 17:34Speaker 8: very grateful. I mean he does the dishes without being asked,
- 17:38Speaker 8: mows the lawn, h and he brings like little treats
- 17:43Speaker 8: for me and my roommate. We've got another roommate and
- 17:45Speaker 8: she adores him. She keeps saying, oh, see, you did
- 17:48Speaker 8: something good. But then I told my family, and my
- 17:52Speaker 8: dad was just like, no, this is not a good idea.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Did you even check his background?
- 17:57Speaker 3: That was my first instinct. That was, like the guy
- 18:00Speaker 3: from church. I'm like, so what I would still wouldn't.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't know about this, but.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Anyway, I know.
- 18:05Speaker 8: He rolled his eyes at me, and I told him,
- 18:08Speaker 8: not everyone needs an investigation. You know, he's not He's
- 18:11Speaker 8: not dangerous, or at least I don't feel that way. Well,
- 18:14Speaker 8: turns out some people do need investigating. So my dad
- 18:19Speaker 8: called me last week after he ran a background check
- 18:22Speaker 8: because he didn't trust my judgment. The guy living in
- 18:26Speaker 8: our extra bedroom, the man we've been laughing with, praying with, trusting.
- 18:31Speaker 8: He happens to be also a fell in.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Really yeah, m the robbery. Yeah so this okay, so
- 18:42Speaker 1: we spent some time in prison and.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Which people change. But that's something you might want to
- 18:48Speaker 3: put on on the table.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Yeah, Well I've been kind of smiling and acting normal,
- 18:54Speaker 8: but I have not told my roommate. Oh, but I
- 18:56Speaker 8: feel weird, like he's walking around. He knows where are
- 18:58Speaker 8: we sleep sleep, he knows where spare keys are, he
- 19:02Speaker 8: knows us. And I feel guilty thinking that way because
- 19:05Speaker 8: people do, Like I think, people change. But I don't
- 19:08Speaker 8: want to tell my roommate. I know she'd freak out,
- 19:10Speaker 8: she'd move out, and I love her, don't I don't
- 19:14Speaker 8: know or that he would have to leave. And that's
- 19:16Speaker 8: the worst part.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 19:18Speaker 8: That's what I want, you know, because he's been wonderful.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 19:23Speaker 8: I mean, if I want to punish him further.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Is it weird that he didn't say anything? Because I
- 19:27Speaker 3: feel like if I were a felon, I don't know.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It's hard to put yourself in somebody's shoes who's been there.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And spent time.
- 19:33Speaker 2: You'll never do.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Right in prison.
- 19:35Speaker 3: And if I were going to move in with someone,
- 19:38Speaker 3: I might just say, hey, I want to let you
- 19:41Speaker 3: know my background, just so there's no surprises here.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Or would I not? I would?
- 19:46Speaker 6: You wouldn't No, I mean I ain't been to prison,
- 19:50Speaker 6: but I mean I did have a record back in
- 19:52Speaker 6: the day. I just I wouldn't divulge that information off
- 19:55Speaker 6: off the top because people can be judgy and it's hard.
- 19:59Speaker 1: For people who but rightfully so, had a rough past
- 20:03Speaker 1: to get a good job.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Then that should be up to them to decide on
- 20:06Speaker 3: whether they want to give you that opportunity to show
- 20:10Speaker 3: that you're a better person now. But like if you
- 20:11Speaker 3: move into an apartment, they ask you if you're a felon. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 3: I mean if you if you get a job, they
- 20:16Speaker 3: ask you on an application, Yeah, they do.
- 20:18Speaker 6: But they also say on the apartment application says, have
- 20:21Speaker 6: you ever been convicted?
- 20:22Speaker 1: Well, he has right, right, if you.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Had some Sometimes you can end up in jail and
- 20:27Speaker 6: not be convicted.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Well, everyone in jail is innocent.
- 20:33Speaker 3: But you know what I mean, though, at least give
- 20:35Speaker 3: them the opportunity to decide. I would just want to
- 20:37Speaker 3: be at least open about and be like, hey, I'm
- 20:39Speaker 3: gonna let you know right now.
- 20:40Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, I feel like there's a lot of
- 20:42Speaker 5: people like that in the church. It's like why they found,
- 20:44Speaker 5: you know, their faith. You know, like this is where
- 20:47Speaker 5: I came from. I'm looking for help.
- 20:50Speaker 3: And there's nothing wrong with that, right I just want
- 20:52Speaker 3: to know about it. I'm not going to kick you out.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I'd probably go you know, I appreciate you being honest, but.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Two women living together can make you feel a little
- 21:01Speaker 5: bit uneasy.
- 21:02Speaker 3: The thing is you haven't told your roommate. That's the
- 21:04Speaker 3: part that gets real touchy, Like what are you going
- 21:07Speaker 3: to do there? You gotta like you gotta kind of
- 21:10Speaker 3: filler in, if you know. I feel like that's the case.
- 21:13Speaker 8: Yeah, now I feel like I'm lying. I feel like
- 21:15Speaker 8: I've always been the type of person to see the
- 21:17Speaker 8: good in people. But I also don't want to be
- 21:19Speaker 8: an idiot who ignores these warning signs and you know,
- 21:22Speaker 8: ends up yep in a news story. So yeah, I
- 21:25Speaker 8: don't want to be withholding for my roommate. But then
- 21:27Speaker 8: I'm really in a pairicle.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that is tough. I Candice, what would you do?
- 21:31Speaker 5: I mean, I'd have to tell my roommate, like we
- 21:34Speaker 5: have to discuss, like how long he can stay here?
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because it can't be it's comfortable, a permanent thing,
- 21:40Speaker 1: and yeah, there's no way.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I don't know what your agreement with him is or
- 21:43Speaker 2: what he's expected.
- 21:44Speaker 3: I mean, i'd love to have a big heart and
- 21:45Speaker 3: you want to help out. That's good, but sometimes those
- 21:47Speaker 3: are the people that are the first ones to get hurt.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, they can take advantage of sometimes, so let us
- 21:52Speaker 5: know what you end up doing.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I would tell the roommate.
- 21:54Speaker 3: At least I wouldn't kick the guy out necessarily, But
- 21:58Speaker 3: I'm not going to say I wouldn't have my guard up,
- 22:00Speaker 3: No for sure.
- 22:00Speaker 5: How many times do people call and tell us about
- 22:02Speaker 5: the scam they were doing or whatever.
- 22:05Speaker 6: I'd probably put them the side and be like, look,
- 22:07Speaker 6: you can stay here, but I do just know that
- 22:09Speaker 6: I know at lease give them my heads up that
- 22:11Speaker 6: you know, because you're gonna you go start acting funny,
- 22:14Speaker 6: good luck.
- 22:15Speaker 3: But I love I love that your intentions are you
- 22:17Speaker 3: know good and you mean well, so good for you.
- 22:20Speaker 8: Thank you all. Good advice too, like, yeah, I know
- 22:22Speaker 8: what to do.
- 22:23Speaker 1: All right, well let us let us know. Yeah, keep
- 22:25Speaker 1: us all updated.
- 22:26Speaker 8: Okay, all right, thank you so much.
- 22:28Speaker 1: That's a tough one.
- 22:29Speaker 2: It is.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I know what I would do, but hi, my damn snacks.
- 22:34Speaker 8: These tough stories with Billy's a Kid in the Morning
- 22:37Speaker 8: only on the new Mix one.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Or two point nine.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Hey, heads up, we're filling your fridge with one eight
- 22:42Speaker 3: hundred truck racks. So if you want a thousand dollars
- 22:44Speaker 3: in groceries, hook that up Mix one of two nine
- 22:47Speaker 3: dot com sign up, because I think we're gonna start
- 22:49Speaker 3: calling people like I might even do one today.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Oh do it?
- 22:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I might have amy with orright, get on the
- 22:53Speaker 3: phone from one hundred truck wreck and call someone and
- 22:55Speaker 3: fill their fridge.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Love that.
- 22:56Speaker 1: So we're just gonna do it randomly, can it? Slow pads?
- 22:59Speaker 1: What's up?
- 22:59Speaker 5: Well, the dropped the number of vaccines it recommends for children,
- 23:03Speaker 5: so they will still recommend the ten that are agreed
- 23:06Speaker 5: upon internationally, as well as chicken pox, but this is
- 23:09Speaker 5: down from the seventeen immunizations that were part of the
- 23:12Speaker 5: twenty twenty four schedule. You will notice that even the
- 23:15Speaker 5: flu vaccine is now only recommended for those at high risk,
- 23:19Speaker 5: but obviously across the country we are seeing a major,
- 23:21Speaker 5: major jump in flu cases. So our schedule will now
- 23:25Speaker 5: be closer to countries like Denmark. Insurance will still cover
- 23:29Speaker 5: the vaccine, so it's really going to be up to
- 23:31Speaker 5: parents to decide what they want outside of those ten
- 23:34Speaker 5: But that's such a stressful time, especially as a brand
- 23:36Speaker 5: new parent, trying to figure out vaccines at schedules and
- 23:39Speaker 5: do your research and all of those things.
- 23:41Speaker 2: But that's why you're seeing that in the news this morning.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Do people still get the chicken pox?
- 23:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:45Speaker 2: I guess so they do. Yeah, I think so. I
- 23:48Speaker 2: haven't really heard of many people doing.
- 23:50Speaker 3: It, but no, I don't know anybody. Well I guess
- 23:52Speaker 3: they have the vaccine or whatever, but we didn't. I
- 23:55Speaker 3: got the chicken pox.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 5: Is that the thing which we put the pink stuff?
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yes?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Do we all remember at chick pox?
- 24:05Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:05Speaker 2: What a weird thing.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That was a good thing. It's like, have you had
- 24:07Speaker 1: chicken pox yet?
- 24:08Speaker 4: No?
- 24:08Speaker 1: I haven't know, have you? Yeah? I got it already,
- 24:10Speaker 1: so good?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Right, but that, yeah, for sure?
- 24:13Speaker 3: Even Poo's Day was so is malaria? Oh my god?
- 24:19Speaker 2: Like he's on the Oregon Trail.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, dysentery exactly, guys.
- 24:24Speaker 5: You Haul's annual growth Index just came out.
- 24:27Speaker 2: For twenty twenty five, Texas.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Was number one in the country for new arrivals, so
- 24:33Speaker 5: they look at over two point five million annual U
- 24:36Speaker 5: haul customers who read vehicles for one way trips across the.
- 24:39Speaker 2: US and Canada.
- 24:41Speaker 5: In twenty twenty four, we were number two, after South Carolina,
- 24:44Speaker 5: which was weird, random, yeah, but after that, you know,
- 24:48Speaker 5: we've topped the list for seven of the last ten years.
- 24:51Speaker 5: They are saying they're getting a lot of customers moving
- 24:53Speaker 5: to Texas from places like Chicago, California, and New York.
- 24:57Speaker 2: But some of the other.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Top destinations for out of state movers here in the Metropleque, Solina, Forny, McKinney, Princeton,
- 25:05Speaker 5: and prosper statewide, though Florida was after US, and for
- 25:10Speaker 5: the six year in a row, California ranked to last.
- 25:14Speaker 5: So yeah, obviously it's busy here. People are coming left
- 25:16Speaker 5: and right.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I did see something funny the other day because there's
- 25:18Speaker 3: so many California plates, but somebody had a California plate
- 25:22Speaker 3: and it said they hung a sign in the back
- 25:24Speaker 3: of their car that said I'm a text and this
- 25:26Speaker 3: is just a rental.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I can't be that bad, right, put a sign out.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I was like, I mean it's not it's funny to me,
- 25:35Speaker 3: but I do see some California plates that do not
- 25:39Speaker 3: know how to drive.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah, well, to be fair, a lot of us are
- 25:42Speaker 5: camping out on the left lane and we shouldn't be Texans.
- 25:44Speaker 5: So just bsa fine real quick, guys. Post Malon's fail
- 25:48Speaker 5: video is going viral this morning, so I guess he
- 25:51Speaker 5: was streaming on Twitch and tried to do a backflip
- 25:54Speaker 5: from like an office.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Chair, like a swivel chair.
- 25:57Speaker 5: He's holding like a lit cigarette in this video, it
- 26:01Speaker 5: didn't really look like he was even close to doing
- 26:04Speaker 5: a flip, but the chair swiveled away. He landed on
- 26:07Speaker 5: his wrist and saved a cigarette. Though only post Malone
- 26:12Speaker 5: could do.
- 26:12Speaker 3: It just reminded me of we should do this one day,
- 26:15Speaker 3: like the dumbest way you've hurt yourself, right, because he
- 26:18Speaker 3: hurt his wrist. Yeah, he was like, oh, I actually
- 26:20Speaker 3: hurt my wrist and I've done some stupid stuff. Yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 3: I had to, you know, stuff fall in my head.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I threw my back out one time dancing in syncs.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Bye bye bye.
- 26:29Speaker 5: I mean there's any reason that's reasonable, that is it.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Were you doing by yourself though, or were you doing
- 26:34Speaker 5: it with other people?
- 26:40Speaker 1: This was back in the day.
- 26:41Speaker 3: There was someone in the studio, but I was trying
- 26:42Speaker 3: to I was trying to learn the dance and I
- 26:44Speaker 3: was like, I think I could do this, and I
- 26:46Speaker 3: started doing it literally threw my back out.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah no, it's fine.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Yeah, post Mallon was not heard in the video seriously though,
- 26:53Speaker 5: So that's good news. Yeah, good, Okay, all right, I'm
- 26:55Speaker 5: kanna slow Pez. Those are your Texas top story.
- 26:58Speaker 3: All right, Candace Court, it gets settled here with Billy
- 27:03Speaker 3: the Kid in the morning, that's right.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I wore my fanciest hootie for you.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Same.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Out of respect for the court, Cannas Lopez.
- 27:10Speaker 1: It's mixed one or two point nine a Billy the Kid.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Judge Candace bay Lafoo is here and your issues, any
- 27:15Speaker 3: kind of problem you have, Candace consolvement at Candace on air, Okay,
- 27:20Speaker 3: and this is a very serious court. So whatever it is,
- 27:23Speaker 3: just DM or your problems. This is a good one though,
- 27:25Speaker 3: because well it's some step mom drama. All right, listen
- 27:28Speaker 3: to what this woman wrote. She said, I'm gonna keep
- 27:29Speaker 3: it anonymous. So I know it's a typical for a
- 27:31Speaker 3: mom to hate the new step mom, but I swear
- 27:33Speaker 3: this is not what this is about. So my daughters
- 27:36Speaker 3: come home from their dad's house after spending time with
- 27:40Speaker 3: him over Christmas break, and when they walk through the door,
- 27:43Speaker 3: they both look like cheetos.
- 27:46Speaker 2: What cheetos?
- 27:50Speaker 3: Step Mom had them both spray tannd. I couldn't hold
- 27:57Speaker 3: back my shock, But once I realize they were so
- 28:00Speaker 3: excited about it, I tried to calm down.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I ended up calling their dad and asking.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Why he would let two girls twelve and fourteen get
- 28:09Speaker 3: sprayed handed. He said, it's no big deal. They wanted
- 28:13Speaker 3: to do it. Well, sorry, but they want to do
- 28:16Speaker 3: a lot of things, but they're not adults and they
- 28:18Speaker 3: can't choose what they do and what they don't do.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I think it's completely inappropriate that stepmom would not ask
- 28:26Speaker 3: me before she sprayed my kids down with chemicals. Oh,
- 28:32Speaker 3: she knows how healthy I am and how I do
- 28:35Speaker 3: not even like the kids to eat process foods, much
- 28:39Speaker 3: less have them around chemicals. And now you spray both
- 28:43Speaker 3: them down with who knows what.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Best? De Sun you never know. I think she did
- 28:51Speaker 1: this on purpose.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Oh and I'm thinking about calling her and confronting her.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Please tell me I'm not crazy? Am I?
- 29:00Speaker 4: All?
- 29:00Speaker 3: This a good canvas course, Candice. You're a mom, yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 3: of a son, so not that it matters.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I guess.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Well, on this instance, to have an almost you know,
- 29:09Speaker 3: preteen twelve year old and a fourteen year old girl,
- 29:12Speaker 3: they come home from dad's house and they, according to
- 29:15Speaker 3: this mom, they look like cheetah after.
- 29:18Speaker 1: A spray tan.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Possible, there's some bad ones.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yeah, no, yeah, yeah, I've been spray tanned before the same.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And I got out of there and I was like,
- 29:24Speaker 1: what just happened my spray tan?
- 29:26Speaker 4: Poo?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah you did.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah, because we were doing something I think with Planet
- 29:33Speaker 3: Tan and my buddy Tony back in the day who
- 29:35Speaker 3: were own Planet Tan. And I go, hey, let's go
- 29:38Speaker 3: over there and we'll spray tan you and.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I remember that girl and she walked me. She was
- 29:43Speaker 1: like she's like, get uh, leave your shorts on. But
- 29:47Speaker 1: and he got spray tan.
- 29:48Speaker 3: He looked beautiful after he was glowing for you, poo,
- 29:52Speaker 3: he was glowing, but he's not a preteen woman.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Exactly Is this.
- 29:58Speaker 3: A big deal if you're a parent and you're a mom,
- 30:01Speaker 3: Is she overreacting or is this a legitimate cause to
- 30:04Speaker 3: be upset?
- 30:04Speaker 4: No?
- 30:05Speaker 5: I think it's a legit cause to be upset if
- 30:07Speaker 5: you're talking to the dad about it and he's not
- 30:09Speaker 5: going to confront her or say anything about it confront
- 30:12Speaker 5: of yourself.
- 30:13Speaker 2: That's that's my kid, right.
- 30:15Speaker 5: You just took into the spray tanning place, like without
- 30:18Speaker 5: even talking to me, Like I get the spray tan
- 30:21Speaker 5: for like prom or like, you know, whatever your event is.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Girls want to be tan. I totally get that, but
- 30:27Speaker 2: just random like what, like did you do this over
- 30:29Speaker 2: Christmas Break? Like what was the deal?
- 30:31Speaker 1: That's what it was. It was Christmas Break. She wanted
- 30:32Speaker 1: to be tan for Sanna. Yeah. I don't know, Like if.
- 30:35Speaker 5: You're a wellness girly too, like most people know that
- 30:38Speaker 5: she probably did know this. So if she did it
- 30:41Speaker 5: on purpose, I think that's rude. If you're a what
- 30:43Speaker 5: if you're like a wellness girlie, you know, like you're
- 30:45Speaker 5: into like she sounds like she is, you know, not
- 30:48Speaker 5: eating process.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Food, I would call you a wellness girly.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Not one hundred percent of the time, but most of
- 30:53Speaker 5: the time I try to be no.
- 30:54Speaker 3: I did, like, I could never see you getting botox
- 30:57Speaker 3: or spray tanning or anything like that.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Yeah, like, I haven't spray tanned since. I mean it's
- 31:02Speaker 5: been years and only did that for big award shows
- 31:05Speaker 5: that I would go to.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Do you remember back in the day we used to
- 31:07Speaker 3: actually tan. Forget spray tan we know, we were literally
- 31:10Speaker 3: still a thing. People still tan. Yeah, they're just get
- 31:13Speaker 3: in a booth and just fry themselves.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I'm so glad I don't have to do none of that.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I worked at the tanning salon.
- 31:19Speaker 2: You did, That's right.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Wait, people of color would come in all the time.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I don't believe it. Yes they did. They would. People
- 31:25Speaker 1: need to tan, they did. I'm just saying I would.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I worked there. I know, I worked out. I'd be like,
- 31:29Speaker 1: what are you doing? I'm just saying you can tan? Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 1: I don't need to? Okay? Dark enough? All right?
- 31:38Speaker 5: Also, how long does it take for you know, a
- 31:41Speaker 5: step mom to have this level of authority over the kids?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Do they ever like have this you know? Is it okay?
- 31:47Speaker 5: At some point does the stepmom just become like I
- 31:49Speaker 5: can just now make decisions for the kids.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Well, when they're at dad's. I think it depends on
- 31:54Speaker 3: the relationship you have with the other co parent. Yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 3: but sure in some cases, yeah, absolut because you're you're
- 32:02Speaker 3: married to a parent, and you know it depends on
- 32:05Speaker 3: how I guess.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how long this has been.
- 32:08Speaker 6: I think the mom is tripping because I mean, what's next, Like,
- 32:10Speaker 6: if they get their hair cut a certain way, she's
- 32:13Speaker 6: gonna be complaining about that.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Come on, possibly if our daughters are at my house.
- 32:17Speaker 7: I got it.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Really, it's dad's fault. If you're gonna blame anybody, you
- 32:21Speaker 3: gotta blame dad. You can't blame.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Step mom for allowing this.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because he's gonna he's got to be the
- 32:26Speaker 3: guy if he thinks it's gonna be a problem to
- 32:28Speaker 3: step in and go, hey, uh, don't do this without
- 32:31Speaker 3: talking to their mom.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Do you mind? Now that's a bad position to be in.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Oh awful, it's awful. Yeah, but you.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Have to be like, hey, maybe just shoot her a
- 32:38Speaker 3: text and be like, hey, do you care? And then
- 32:40Speaker 3: she's gonna what do you care what she thinks?
- 32:42Speaker 1: And that's gonna be a big fight. And you're gonna
- 32:43Speaker 1: get divorced.
- 32:44Speaker 5: But you know, yeah, I mean I think it's a
- 32:46Speaker 5: big deal, like managing their looks and stuff like that. Also,
- 32:50Speaker 5: you know, giving firsts without the mom.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I didn't even know at this age that people could
- 32:54Speaker 1: spray tan.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, yeah, I think so.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I mean, I think we had one of these situations
- 32:58Speaker 3: one time when it was coming to like where makeup
- 33:00Speaker 3: for a twelve year old girl? Yeah, and the step
- 33:02Speaker 3: mom was letting the girl wear makeup? Right?
- 33:05Speaker 1: Yeah? Is that okay? Well makeup?
- 33:07Speaker 2: So let the mom figure that out.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I would do.
- 33:10Speaker 5: But that's a moment too for a mom. I don't
- 33:12Speaker 5: have a girl obviously, but I would think that's a
- 33:13Speaker 5: big moment. We're, yeah, buy makeup together, go get your
- 33:17Speaker 5: makeup done or.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Whatever, spray tan makeup, you know all this stuff. You're right,
- 33:22Speaker 3: it's different for women than it is men. In this case.
- 33:25Speaker 3: I gotta know, though, is there a verdict? Is the
- 33:28Speaker 3: mom wrong? Is she overreacting? And I want to know
- 33:31Speaker 3: your thoughts too, if you got them, Maybe you're a
- 33:33Speaker 3: step mom who's spray tansome kids eight three three, seven,
- 33:37Speaker 3: eight seven one o two nine, Maybe you got two
- 33:39Speaker 3: little Cheeto step.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Kids running around. I want to hear about it.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Maybe you're a mom whose step mom, the step mom
- 33:46Speaker 3: did something crazy.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I want to hear the story. But in this case,
- 33:50Speaker 1: who's guilty.
- 33:51Speaker 5: I don't think you're overreacting. I think the stepmom is guilty.
- 33:54Speaker 5: She's a bronze Brenda. Cheeto's up for snacking, not for
- 33:59Speaker 5: my kids.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Okay, not a bronze Brenda.
- 34:04Speaker 5: You can't just spraytand the tweens and bring them home
- 34:07Speaker 5: like it's no big deal.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Right, Well, not a bronze Brenda.
- 34:12Speaker 3: What about a spray Tan Sarah Sprat Sally Okay, fair enough?
- 34:18Speaker 3: Court is a jerk billy a kid Candice Lopez producer
- 34:21Speaker 3: pooh or Kicking Off twenty twenty six. And it's such
- 34:25Speaker 3: a positive way because well, I just love doing this
- 34:28Speaker 3: kind of stuff. People ask me like, what's what's your
- 34:29Speaker 3: favorite part of your job?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Because we are lucky, we have awesome jobs.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and some people think, oh, it's celebrities or the interviews,
- 34:36Speaker 3: and no, who would say it's the free food and
- 34:39Speaker 3: the breaker.
- 34:41Speaker 1: But really it's like being able to give back.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, doing things like stuff a boss and
- 34:47Speaker 3: just people to do cool things and Amy with or
- 34:49Speaker 3: Right of one eight hundred truck Wreck, we did the
- 34:52Speaker 3: holiday hookup and it was so much fun, just giving
- 34:54Speaker 3: away money and being able to help people, you know,
- 34:57Speaker 3: during the holidays in such a tough time, and that
- 34:58Speaker 3: we were talking, we were like, you know, first the
- 35:01Speaker 3: year is going to be tough because people have just spent.
- 35:03Speaker 1: All the money.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're doing fill your Fridge with Wanting hundred
- 35:06Speaker 3: truck Wreck and we're just giving away money so you
- 35:09Speaker 3: could pack your fridge full of food. Yeah, And it's
- 35:12Speaker 3: such a simple thing, but it's it's so needed because yeah,
- 35:16Speaker 3: I know, I went to the grocery store and I
- 35:18Speaker 3: get the most basic things and it's so expensive. I'm
- 35:23Speaker 3: buying the cannice Lopez organic right peace and whatever you
- 35:28Speaker 3: get the organic I don't know.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Most of the time, kidney beans, oh my god.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Stuff. So we're doing fill your Fridge.
- 35:36Speaker 3: I got to do a sign up mix one of
- 35:37Speaker 3: two nine at dot com and hopefully we'll call you
- 35:39Speaker 3: some money.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Amy with the.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Rights on the phone right now, Wanting hundred truck Wreck.
- 35:43Speaker 3: We should call somebody. But this has been so great,
- 35:45Speaker 3: you know.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Yeah, this is fantastic, you know, we got to kick
- 35:47Speaker 4: off the new year the right way. And we have
- 35:50Speaker 4: a wonderful, wonderful lady here who lost your job a
- 35:53Speaker 4: little bit before Christmas time. Or husband's carrying the heavy load,
- 35:57Speaker 4: and something tells me they could do with a filled
- 36:01Speaker 4: up fridge. What do you think?
- 36:02Speaker 3: I think you're right. Let me get her on the phone.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Carrie's on the phone right now. Good morning, Carrie. How
- 36:06Speaker 3: are you.
- 36:06Speaker 4: I'm good?
- 36:07Speaker 8: How are you?
- 36:07Speaker 2: Oh?
- 36:08Speaker 1: I'm great.
- 36:08Speaker 3: We're doing fill your fridge with one hundred truck wreck
- 36:10Speaker 3: doing some incredible things. And Amy's on the phone. If
- 36:13Speaker 3: you want to say how to Amy real quick?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Say Hi, Hi, Amy, Hey, Hey, hey Carrie. I understand
- 36:18Speaker 4: things were a little bumpy closing out twenty twenty five,
- 36:21Speaker 4: and we need to kick off twenty twenty six with
- 36:23Speaker 4: a with a better mood, a big smile, and a
- 36:26Speaker 4: filled up fridge. Oh yes, I would be awesome. It's
- 36:30Speaker 4: been a rough few months. I get it, I get it.
- 36:34Speaker 4: So if we filled up your fridge with one eight
- 36:36Speaker 4: hundred truck wrecks money, what would you and your husband
- 36:39Speaker 4: really love to see piled in that fridge?
- 36:44Speaker 9: Well, that would be a tough question for me. That
- 36:46Speaker 9: would be a question for the kids because.
- 36:48Speaker 4: They eat everything. Oh yeah, how many kids do you
- 36:53Speaker 4: have and what are their ages?
- 36:55Speaker 9: I have two. My daughter is six and my son just.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Turned three back in dec oh, and they're just getting
- 37:01Speaker 4: started in billy they're.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Barely Oh yeah, you just you just way care. He
- 37:06Speaker 1: gets worse, he gets crazy. Trusts me, y'all have no idea.
- 37:09Speaker 9: My mom and dad they live in Louisiana, four hours away,
- 37:13Speaker 9: and they do a Walmart pickup for the kids at
- 37:15Speaker 9: least once a month for snacks. And I tell you,
- 37:18Speaker 9: my kids try to eat the snacks with them one day.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Well listen, it sounds like grandma and
- 37:25Speaker 4: grandpa have the snacks covered. Let's do something great for
- 37:28Speaker 4: you and your husband. Let's make sure you have at
- 37:31Speaker 4: least one thousand dollars one eight hundred truck work to
- 37:33Speaker 4: fill up your fridge. And you tell me what would
- 37:36Speaker 4: be you and your husband's favorite meal.
- 37:39Speaker 9: I know my husband really loves a steak.
- 37:41Speaker 4: I'm more chicken, but I think steak would be probably
- 37:45Speaker 4: better for him. So I got to tell you. If
- 37:48Speaker 4: you got you your husband and a couple of kids,
- 37:51Speaker 4: let's do fifteen hundred dollars one eight hundred truck rector
- 37:54Speaker 4: fell up that fridge. Thank you so much.
- 37:57Speaker 1: There you go, fifteen hundred dollars from wanting a hunter
- 38:00Speaker 1: truck wrecked.
- 38:01Speaker 4: You can buy steak, you can buy chicken, you can
- 38:03Speaker 4: buy fish, you can buy more steak, and you know,
- 38:06Speaker 4: a handful of snacks for the kids. Yes, for sure.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Well, good care. I hope this helps out, Carrie.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I know that it's been a tough couple of months
- 38:15Speaker 3: and it looks like and I'm sorry you lost your job.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Hopefully you are looking for some and find something quick.
- 38:21Speaker 8: I have.
- 38:22Speaker 9: I've been applaying so I'm just waiting on some phone calls.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Good, thank you.
- 38:28Speaker 4: It's gonna get better. You're a good lady. You're doing
- 38:31Speaker 4: a great job, you and your husband. You just hang
- 38:33Speaker 4: in there and you'll well at least buy you a
- 38:36Speaker 4: little bit release from one eight hundred truck wreck for
- 38:39Speaker 4: a few weeks with filling up your fridge. But it's
- 38:42Speaker 4: gonna get better here in twenty twenty six. Okay, okay,
- 38:45Speaker 4: thank you so much, so welcome you.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Stay right there, Carrie, hold on, Amy, stay there, wanting
- 38:49Speaker 3: a hundred truck right there?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's a hot take.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Let us know what you think.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Here's today's hot take.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Hot Take the Day on Mix one on two point nine,
- 38:57Speaker 3: it's Baily the Kid Canaslopez producer Poop Hopeful. You're having
- 39:00Speaker 3: a good Tuesday so far, it's gonna beautiful seventy five
- 39:02Speaker 3: and sunny sun already shining, and it was beautiful sunrise.
- 39:05Speaker 3: So far, life is good unless you're this guy, this
- 39:09Speaker 3: guy that I saw in this video. I felt so
- 39:12Speaker 3: bad and weird and cringey and ick on this video
- 39:16Speaker 3: that I saw with the holiday break. Matter of fact,
- 39:17Speaker 3: I think Candace sent it to me because she knew
- 39:19Speaker 3: I was gonna hate this.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Just want did you get vacation?
- 39:22Speaker 1: You did it on purpose and it worked.
- 39:25Speaker 3: And if you want to see the video, it's on
- 39:27Speaker 3: my story right now at Billy on the Radio.
- 39:29Speaker 1: At Billy on the Radio. Let me set the scene.
- 39:31Speaker 3: It's like it looks like so it's around the holidays,
- 39:33Speaker 3: and they're wearing matching pajamas.
- 39:35Speaker 1: It's a it's a man and.
- 39:36Speaker 3: A woman and like another couple and someone taking the
- 39:39Speaker 3: video and they're all just kind of sitting around listening
- 39:42Speaker 3: to Christmas music.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Having a good time. The man is on the couch.
- 39:45Speaker 3: The girlfriend comes in and she gets on one knee
- 39:50Speaker 3: and proposes to the man.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Yep, proposed.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Let me say it again, she proposes to him. Let
- 39:58Speaker 3: me just play it because it it's got to be
- 40:00Speaker 3: one of the most The audio is not going to
- 40:02Speaker 3: do a justice because the video is watch you got
- 40:05Speaker 3: to watch it on my story at Billy on the radio.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Go watch it. I put a little pole up to
- 40:09Speaker 1: but this.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Has got to be one of the the worst videos
- 40:12Speaker 3: I've ever seen.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Just play it. Though. I love you, I want.
- 40:17Speaker 3: To spend the rest of my life with you, and
- 40:20Speaker 3: I can't think of a better time than to in
- 40:25Speaker 3: front of our family. So okay, so right there, she says,
- 40:29Speaker 3: and I can't. I can be a better place to
- 40:30Speaker 3: do it in front of our family. And he's sitting
- 40:32Speaker 3: on the couch in his matching pajamas.
- 40:35Speaker 1: First of all, that's where he messed up. That wasn't
- 40:39Speaker 1: a good sign. That wasn't a good sign. Okay, Well that's.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Fun matching jammies.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Yeah, when you're at that place in your relationship, that's
- 40:47Speaker 5: a good place.
- 40:48Speaker 1: No, I think it's great. The matching pajamas. I'm not
- 40:49Speaker 1: gonna make fun of that.
- 40:50Speaker 3: At this point though in the video, she gets on
- 40:53Speaker 3: one knee and he's still sitting on the couch.
- 40:55Speaker 1: He gets down on one knee with a ring.
- 40:58Speaker 2: What are you married?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Will you marry me?
- 41:02Speaker 3: He sits there on the couch, looks at her with
- 41:05Speaker 3: this like weird look on his face, and listen to
- 41:07Speaker 3: what he says. Hopefully you can hear it. He goes,
- 41:15Speaker 3: you can barely hear it. He goes, yeah, what why?
- 41:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Then here's the most angry part of this entire video
- 41:27Speaker 3: for me is that after he says yeah to her
- 41:30Speaker 3: marriage proposal, he doesn't even get up.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Right he's coming there.
- 41:35Speaker 3: He sits there on the couch and she gets down
- 41:37Speaker 3: to hug him.
- 41:39Speaker 1: You have to be kidding me.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Do you want it that bad?
- 41:43Speaker 5: That's the magical proposal moment that you wanted. I just
- 41:46Speaker 5: feel so bad for her, Like.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I felt so awful for her.
- 41:51Speaker 3: To me, this was like, and you know what, it's
- 41:52Speaker 3: not even necessarily about being Oh my man, it wouldn't
- 41:56Speaker 3: be my thing. Yeah, I'll be honest. If a woman
- 41:58Speaker 3: got down on her knee and propose, is the man
- 42:00Speaker 3: please get up?
- 42:01Speaker 1: I tell a note in.
- 42:02Speaker 6: Front of her Grandma granddaddy. No, no too, I'm sorry
- 42:07Speaker 6: fixing a maskate.
- 42:08Speaker 3: First of all, I would never be in that kind
- 42:10Speaker 3: of relationship where she would even think that was reasonable.
- 42:13Speaker 5: Right, That's the thing here is like this is way
- 42:16Speaker 5: off because she thinks that this is okay. Like to me,
- 42:19Speaker 5: you do you, I don't care who proposes to who
- 42:22Speaker 5: if you're happy and this is what you both want
- 42:24Speaker 5: for sure, but don't propose because you're insecure or you
- 42:28Speaker 5: feel like he's gonna leave you, or you know.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 42:31Speaker 5: And that's the vibe that this gives off, like this
- 42:33Speaker 5: is my last ditch.
- 42:34Speaker 3: That's exactly where I was at. Because right, you're right.
- 42:37Speaker 3: If two people want to get engaged and they want
- 42:40Speaker 3: to do it their way and she wants to do it,
- 42:41Speaker 3: fine whatever.
- 42:42Speaker 5: I mean, there are a lot of men being lazy
- 42:44Speaker 5: and waiting around out there, gone and do it. Wow, Carl,
- 42:48Speaker 5: I had a friend who was waiting and waiting.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It's like seven years and they finally did it. But
- 42:52Speaker 2: it was right.
- 42:53Speaker 1: He was just trying to seven years and she proposed
- 42:56Speaker 1: to him.
- 42:57Speaker 5: No, he proposed to her. But I'm like, you could
- 42:59Speaker 5: have done a little sooner.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Okay, Sometimes you got to make sure it's right.
- 43:01Speaker 6: Yeah, sometimes that math ain't math.
- 43:05Speaker 2: And I'm just trying to.
- 43:08Speaker 3: No, and that's that's a whole nother hot tickets. How
- 43:10Speaker 3: long do you wait for a proposal until you're like, hey,
- 43:12Speaker 3: you know what, enough's enough. I gotta go right right,
- 43:14Speaker 3: I know, I gotta say. I don't care how long
- 43:18Speaker 3: someone's waiting. I never never is never okay for a
- 43:22Speaker 3: woman to get down on one dy and propose to me.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Please never do that.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Yeah, don't invite your family.
- 43:27Speaker 6: Yeah, and don't please don't invite anybody because I'm embarrassing.
- 43:31Speaker 1: And don't put it on social media. Okay.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I got to read some of the comments though, and
- 43:36Speaker 3: maybe you know what, maybe you proposed to your man.
- 43:38Speaker 3: If you did, I want to hear about it. I
- 43:39Speaker 3: want you to call me and tell me the story
- 43:41Speaker 3: of what happened and how it went down.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:43Speaker 5: I'm sure there are some who's like, yeah, she took
- 43:45Speaker 5: it into her own hands and made the decision and
- 43:47Speaker 5: we're happy, we're great on I'm sure there.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Stories she asked his dad for his hand in marriage.
- 43:56Speaker 3: What if a guy think about fast forward till you
- 43:59Speaker 3: know Enzo's whatever your son is twenty two and you
- 44:02Speaker 3: have a woman come over the girl he's dating and
- 44:04Speaker 3: say I want Enzo's hand in marriage.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, how many times might be really different?
- 44:09Speaker 5: By the time kick her. I mean i'd talk to him,
- 44:13Speaker 5: I'd be like, what's going on?
- 44:14Speaker 2: Here? Are you guys?
- 44:16Speaker 3: Let me read some comments. You're not doing it. Uncle
- 44:19Speaker 3: Billy's gonna say no, say no and move on.
- 44:23Speaker 1: All right? Let me read this comment. You're ready.
- 44:26Speaker 3: This is someone This is a woman who said, to
- 44:28Speaker 3: each their own, but I'd rather count every single grain
- 44:31Speaker 3: of sand on planet Earth. Oh, this guy or this
- 44:38Speaker 3: woman says, ladies, please stop doing this.
- 44:40Speaker 1: If he wanted to be your husband, he would have proposed.
- 44:44Speaker 5: That's how I would feel as a woman.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Same same me too. Absolutely. What about this one?
- 44:51Speaker 3: Bro looks like he was ready to break up with
- 44:53Speaker 3: her on Christmas Day and then she pulled the Uno
- 44:55Speaker 3: reverse car.
- 44:57Speaker 2: That's yeah, that's what I feel like. She was afraid
- 45:00Speaker 2: he was about a jam.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Oh that's yes, exactly things this girl said. Oh, I'd
- 45:06Speaker 3: rather propose to myself in front of the mirror.
- 45:11Speaker 1: What about this one?
- 45:12Speaker 3: This girl Madison said, made this type of love never
- 45:16Speaker 3: find me. This woman who proposed to this man and
- 45:22Speaker 3: just did it in the cringiest way ever. I got
- 45:23Speaker 3: the video up on my story at Billy on the
- 45:25Speaker 3: Radio on Instagram. At Billy on the Radio, the guy
- 45:28Speaker 3: doesn't even get excited. He doesn't even get off the couch.
- 45:30Speaker 3: After she proposes to him. She kneels down to hug him.
- 45:36Speaker 3: He doesn't even stand up right. It's weird. Everybody around
- 45:39Speaker 3: it is like just cringey. It's just it's uh uh
- 45:44Speaker 3: and no. So I said, well, if anybody proposed to
- 45:46Speaker 3: their man out there, please, I want to hear about it. Tara,
- 45:49Speaker 3: you propose to your man.
- 45:51Speaker 7: It is my ex man.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Now.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Thankfully we ended up getting engaged. She said, yes, but
- 45:57Speaker 7: that relationship, thankfully.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Was part Wait. I got to walk me through that
- 46:02Speaker 3: special day.
- 46:05Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 46:06Speaker 7: So I was listening and I was just like, oh no,
- 46:08Speaker 7: they're talking to me.
- 46:11Speaker 1: And by the way, no.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Hate, nothing but love because I know that listening. Hell yeah,
- 46:15Speaker 3: whatever happens happens. But how did it go down?
- 46:17Speaker 7: So I went and bought him a ring with three
- 46:20Speaker 7: diamonds in it, and then went to the bar while
- 46:23Speaker 7: he was working because he was a bartender. And I
- 46:26Speaker 7: not only did it while he was at work, I
- 46:28Speaker 7: took the mic from the band. No, oh, you did
- 46:34Speaker 7: not spot on one knee and I announced it to
- 46:38Speaker 7: the whole the whole bar.
- 46:40Speaker 4: No.
- 46:41Speaker 3: No, First of all, you're so brave for doing that.
- 46:44Speaker 3: You did so everything stops in this bar. What what
- 46:47Speaker 3: bar was it? I gotta know?
- 46:49Speaker 1: Shut up?
- 46:52Speaker 7: Oh gosh, no, it's a littleful.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Oh in mid Lothian.
- 46:58Speaker 2: What is it?
- 46:59Speaker 1: What's it called? Is it still there?
- 47:00Speaker 4: The Oasis?
- 47:02Speaker 7: Yeah, it's the Oasis.
- 47:03Speaker 3: The Oasis, I've heard of it. Oh yeah, So you're
- 47:06Speaker 3: at the Oasis. Your man's bartending. Okay, you're a Middle
- 47:09Speaker 3: Othian and all of a sudden you walk in.
- 47:12Speaker 1: X man.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Let me make a clear X man. You walk in,
- 47:15Speaker 3: you tell the band, hey, I think I'm gonna do something.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Do you mind if I grab the mic? And they're like,
- 47:18Speaker 3: oh I got to see this here, Yeah, take it.
- 47:21Speaker 3: You get down on one knee. Everybody stops, and what
- 47:23Speaker 3: do you say?
- 47:24Speaker 7: I asked him. I was like, so, you know, basically
- 47:30Speaker 7: makes me so happy and spend the rest of your
- 47:32Speaker 7: life with me? Will you marry me?
- 47:35Speaker 3: And he's at the bar and what does he say?
- 47:36Speaker 3: Does he just come running to the stage and jumps
- 47:39Speaker 3: into your arms.
- 47:40Speaker 7: I mean, that was the type of man he was,
- 47:42Speaker 7: for sure. He brushes out from behind the bar. He's
- 47:47Speaker 7: kind of staring at me because I mean, when I
- 47:49Speaker 7: say a femini, he was very, very like star strugg
- 47:52Speaker 7: not like oh, you're emasculating me, more like, oh my gosh,
- 47:55Speaker 7: I can't believe this is happening.
- 47:57Speaker 1: It's finally happening. Yeah, okay.
- 48:02Speaker 3: So then he he runs up and he says yes,
- 48:04Speaker 3: and you two are just oh, everybody cheers or what
- 48:07Speaker 3: do they do?
- 48:07Speaker 7: Everybody cheers, you know, people buy a shot. He grabs
- 48:11Speaker 7: me up. He's like, yes, you know. And if that
- 48:14Speaker 7: was that, maybe that engagement has lasted a month and
- 48:17Speaker 7: a half before I called my brother and packed up
- 48:19Speaker 7: out my stuff and left while he was at work.
- 48:21Speaker 1: But why what happened? Did anything happen?
- 48:25Speaker 7: He just he was a very controlling human being, and
- 48:29Speaker 7: I guess I was just at.
- 48:31Speaker 4: My own self.
- 48:32Speaker 7: Force was at an all time low at that time.
- 48:33Speaker 7: But I truly what that was.
- 48:35Speaker 3: It.
- 48:35Speaker 7: I was like, this is it for me? This is
- 48:36Speaker 7: my life. And then I was like, oh my gosh,
- 48:38Speaker 7: it's not my life, right.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I mean, you woke up and said okay and you
- 48:42Speaker 3: know what. He was controlling, He controlled everything, but the proposal.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Why didn't he propose?
- 48:45Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:47Speaker 3: Right right, he just didn't want to or just you know,
- 48:51Speaker 3: or was it how long you two been together at
- 48:53Speaker 3: that time?
- 48:54Speaker 7: Oh gosh, that's even worse. Maybe at that time we
- 48:57Speaker 7: were together for three or four months. I think I
- 48:59Speaker 7: was more starstruck than anything. He was one of those
- 49:03Speaker 7: guys that like peaked in high school and was like
- 49:06Speaker 7: one of the really popular school yeah, and I was
- 49:09Speaker 7: like s not.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I was like, listen, Tara, this is a no judgment zone.
- 49:15Speaker 3: It's fine, So don't feel weird about Hey, it happened,
- 49:18Speaker 3: but you know what, You live, you learn.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You move on.
- 49:22Speaker 7: Yes, and if I have the confidence too that I
- 49:24Speaker 7: feel like I can really do anything?
- 49:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean you have a lot of guts
- 49:28Speaker 3: because I could never do that, never do it.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So good for you.
- 49:33Speaker 7: I will not be supposing to any man ever again.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Thank you,
