  Speaker 2: In every truly strong relationship, humility is the foundation for greatness.

  Speaker 2: Jesus himself taught that greatness among us are those who serve.

  Speaker 2: That's Matthews twenty three, eleven and twelve. True humility isn't

  Speaker 2: thinking less of yourself. It's thinking of yourself less so

  Speaker 2: that you can lift others up. How can you walk

  Speaker 2: in humility? First, listen more and speak less. Instead of

  Speaker 2: planning your comeback or defending your point, really listen, make

  Speaker 2: space for the heart of your person in front of you.

  Speaker 2: Humility in a conversation says I care more about understanding

  Speaker 2: you than being right. It's more about understanding than being right.

  Speaker 2: Walking in humility also means that you can be the

  Speaker 2: first to apologize. You know, always have to be the

  Speaker 2: one that's waiting for an apology, swallowing your pride. We

  Speaker 2: know it's not easy, but it says I was wrong,

  Speaker 2: I'm sorry, and it creates a safe and trust environment.

  Speaker 2: A humble relationship heals more quickly and boards growing sentiments.

  Speaker 2: So know this, when you're easy to apologize to somebody,

  Speaker 2: it's easy to get along in a relationship. Can't always

  Speaker 2: be right, even if you're right. Sometimes it's okay to

  Speaker 2: not be right. Serve without expecting anything back. See a

  Speaker 2: one is watching, showing up for a friend without broadcasting it.

  Speaker 2: We can't show up unless we tell somebody, Like we

  Speaker 2: can't be a friend and not tell somebody that we

  Speaker 1: Like we want everybody.

  Speaker 2: To know what's going on in the times that we're
• 11:51
  Speaker 2: living in social media and all of the things that's
• 11:55
  Speaker 2: going on now. We want to be recognized. It's like

  Speaker 2: we want the glory. But just like you say, show

  Speaker 2: up without broadcasting it. Jesus showed true greatness by kneeling
• 12:09
  Speaker 2: and washing feet. Great love is found in the little
• 12:13
  Speaker 2: kind service of the acts of services and kindness that

  Speaker 2: we do. Holding the door from somebody, telling somebody that
• 12:24
  Speaker 2: they look nice, y'all, that's just kindness. It's in little things.

  Speaker 2: Celebrating others wins. Humble heart doesn't feel threatened by someone

  Speaker 2: else's dess.

  Speaker 1: Cheer for others.

  Speaker 2: When one win, y'all, we all win. But we don't

  Speaker 2: think that we have that spirit of competition, that spirit

  Speaker 2: of me me me, me, me me me me, my

  Speaker 2: ma ma, ma, ma, mama. Instead of us we when
• 12:58
  Speaker 2: we think about others over in efesions. I think it

  Speaker 2: is so they say, think not only on our things,

  Speaker 2: but on the things of others.

  Speaker 1: That is a commandment.

  Speaker 2: He don't want you just thinking about you see a

  Speaker 2: lot of us when when good things happen, all we

  Speaker 2: want to do is sit on that pedestal and we

  Speaker 2: want to get all those accolades, all the recognition, and

  Speaker 2: knowing that really it was not even about us, that

  Speaker 2: it wasn't even us that did it. It was the
• 13:23
  Speaker 2: one that created us that allowed those things to happen.

  Speaker 2: But yet we want all the credit. And then we

  Speaker 2: wonder why we're not progressing, while we're not going forward,
• 13:32
  Speaker 2: while we're not moving forward, while we're not elevating. That's
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: why we talked about forgiveness on day before yesterday. Forgive quickly.

  Speaker 2: Humble people know that you need forgiveness too, so that
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: we don't hold grudges. Don't go to sleep angry, don't

  Speaker 2: go to bed mad, don't walk around with with anger

  Speaker 2: in your heart, because it will make you sick. Some

  Speaker 2: things that we can take from description, Now that we

  Speaker 2: have description, we can take from description that we are

  Speaker 2: supposed to be true worshipfuls our life should be a

  Speaker 2: living example. We don't just sacrifice and just speak words.

  Speaker 2: It should be a living example. We should be true worshipfuls,

  Speaker 2: something that we speak in words that we read on pages.

  Speaker 2: God cares more about our actions and our attitude that

  Speaker 2: these empty rituals and appearances that we make. We can

  Speaker 2: get on this praer call every morning at five am.

  Speaker 2: But if your life and your actions is not what

  Speaker 2: that pray call is, then is nothing. He cares about

  Speaker 2: your actions and your attitude and not those rituals and

  Speaker 2: those appearances that we make often on these social media platforms,

  Speaker 2: he said Isaiah one in seventeen. Living humbly is an
• 15:13
  Speaker 2: act of daily worship and pleasing to God. Humility brings
• 15:18
  Speaker 2: us closer to God than others. When we walk humbly,
• 15:23
  Speaker 2: we acknowledge that our needs of God and shows his
• 15:27
  Speaker 2: grace and shows grace to others. God opposes pride but
• 15:32
  Speaker 2: shows favor to humble. So stay humble, don't walk around
• 15:35
  Speaker 2: with pride, don't walk around thinking that it's about you.

  Speaker 2: James four and six. Authentic relationship, flourish and humility. Be humble,

  Speaker 2: don't think that this is about you. I see a
• 15:49
  Speaker 2: lot of these social media influences and a lot of
• 15:52
  Speaker 2: these people. Once they get certain accolades, and they get
• 15:55
  Speaker 2: to a certain number of followers, and they get a
• 15:57
  Speaker 2: certain number of this and a certain number of that,

  Speaker 2: then they start treating people different. They started their language
• 16:03
  Speaker 2: speak when they was trying to get all of these followers,
• 16:06
  Speaker 2: When they was trying to get to this place, they
• 16:09
  Speaker 2: had so much respect, they had so much humbleness. But
• 16:13
  Speaker 2: now that they think that they have arrived, they forget
• 16:17
  Speaker 2: who allowed them to get there. And we gotta stay humble,
• 16:22
  Speaker 2: We gotta stay authentic because then also people want to
• 16:25
  Speaker 2: connect with the true youth. They don't want to connect
• 16:28
  Speaker 2: with someone that they don't know is gonna be one
• 16:30
  Speaker 2: way that day, one way this day, and one way

  Speaker 2: that day. They want to connect with the authentic humble self.

  Speaker 2: Justice and mercy also flows through your humbleness. A humble

  Speaker 2: heart seeks to make things right and extend kindness even

  Speaker 2: when those who don't deserve it. Oftentime, y'all, humh we

  Speaker 2: extending hum humbleness, We extending grace and mercy to others

  Speaker 2: because not just because, but humility is the soul where

  Speaker 2: both justice and mercy can grow. We oftentimes want to

  Speaker 2: throw around different things, but if we would just humble

  Speaker 2: ourselves and just show a little kindness and just show

  Speaker 2: a little compassion, we have to We have to show

  Speaker 2: kindness and compassion because guess what, y'all, God he knows

  Speaker 1: He searches the heart. So all this stuff that we.

  Speaker 2: These masks and all these facades that we put on

  Speaker 2: and that we wear, he don't care about all that.

  Speaker 2: He don't care about the fancy clothes you wear. He

  Speaker 2: don't care about the fancy diamonds. He don't care about

  Speaker 2: none of that. He cared about your true self. He

  Speaker 2: cared about you being authentic and true to yourself and

  Speaker 2: to him, that's what he cares about. So how can

  Speaker 2: you apply this to your life? How can you apply

  Speaker 2: this word that we've learned today to your life?

  Speaker 1: How can you do that?

  Speaker 2: First, and I'm gonna continue to say this every day,

  Speaker 2: you should begin your morning by thanking God and asking

  Speaker 2: him to guide your words and your actions through throughout

  Speaker 2: this day. He should be the first thing before you
• 18:22
  Speaker 2: even touch the floor. He should be acknowledged, and you
• 18:26
  Speaker 2: should be asking him to lead God and direct you.

  Speaker 1: Y'all.

  Speaker 2: We had a prince and ask God, help me see

  Speaker 2: myself in others through your eyes. He tells us that

  Speaker 2: in Psalms one thirty nine, twenty three and twenty four.

  Speaker 2: You know, I want to see me. I want to
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: see myself in others through others eyes. I want to
• 18:50
  Speaker 2: see how others see me. Show me Lord, so that
• 18:53
  Speaker 2: I don't walk in error, so that I can walk

  Speaker 2: upright before you, so that I can stay humble before you.

  Speaker 2: And then we have to learn how to put other
• 19:03
  Speaker 2: people sometimes, the little small things we can put others
• 19:07
  Speaker 2: first in life, it's for a small moment. I'm not

  Speaker 2: saying that you just put people before you all the time,
• 19:14
  Speaker 2: but sometime we got to think about what somebody else
• 19:16
  Speaker 2: may be going through, what somebody else may be dealing with.

  Speaker 2: Because again, my apostle always say, what you do for others,
• 19:24
  Speaker 2: God would do for you. What you do for others,
• 19:28
  Speaker 2: God would do for you. So look at chances to
• 19:31
  Speaker 2: listen more, to apologize first, to serve in your community,
• 19:37
  Speaker 2: to encourage y'all. One person, that's how it takes. It's
• 19:42
  Speaker 2: one person, one person, one person, whether it's at home
• 19:49
  Speaker 2: or it's at work or it's at the community. Y'all,
• 19:54
  Speaker 2: put somebody else first for one time in your life.

  Speaker 2: I know we are all about self care, we all

  Speaker 2: about self love, were all about doing for ourself. But

  Speaker 2: even if you do for yourself first, after you've done

  Speaker 2: for yourself today, think about somebody else. I'm gonna say that,

  Speaker 2: think about somebody else, Think about somebody other than yourself.

  Speaker 2: Because he commanded us to do that. Will you do

  Speaker 2: that commandment today? And remember forgive and show mercy. Forgive

  Speaker 2: and show mercy, Let go of grudges and respond to mistakes,

  Speaker 2: your own or others. Let it go, y'all. We gotta

  Speaker 2: have grace and we gotta be gentle in how we

  Speaker 2: handle people. Remember how we treat those who cannot repay

  Speaker 2: us reveal our humility. Loop six and thirty six. So

  Speaker 2: know cannot return it to you. It's what you do

  Speaker 2: those grudges, move in love. Oftentimes we want to know

  Speaker 2: why we can't heal while we are walking around carrying hurt.

  Speaker 2: You want to know why we carry a lot of

  Speaker 2: hurt because we don't want to truly heal. A lot

  Speaker 2: of us don't want to heal. A lot of us

  Speaker 2: don't want to walk in true healing because then we

  Speaker 2: don't have those crutches. We don't have those things that

  Speaker 2: we have used as crutches to fall back on. We

  Speaker 2: don't have those things. We don't have those things to
