Trees Block Highway 96 After Storm | Macon News
Trees crashed down on Highway 96 in Jeffersonville, blocking traffic from Highway 80 to Watson Drive — and three school buses were caught in the chaos, but everyone’s safe. A tree also landed on a house on Main Street, thankfully without injury. More downed trees are clogging Bullard and MLK streets. Authorities urge drivers to avoid the area entirely as crews work to clear the mess — stay safe and let them do their job. Updates coming as the situation evolves.
