  Speaker 1: of the show. I've been a fan of the show

  Speaker 1: for years and years and years. It's basically the reason

  Speaker 1: why I fell in them with football. And I've filled

  Speaker 1: in a couple of times here and there on a Thursday, Friday,

  Speaker 1: on a Monday Tuesday. And this was the first time

  Speaker 1: that I got to fill in for a full week

  Speaker 1: and I truly had such a blast. They have such

  Speaker 1: a creative There's a reason why that show is so popular.

  Speaker 1: They have such a badass team of super funny people

  Speaker 1: and great producers. And I don't think that I even

  Speaker 1: realized how much work goes into that show. Like legit,

  Speaker 1: let me just walk you through a quick day doing

  Speaker 1: Good Morning Football. Please, I'm sure a small section of

  Speaker 1: people actually care about this, but too bad. This is

  Speaker 1: cool stuff. I want them behind the scenes. You want

  Speaker 1: the behind the scenes. Okay, well it's not that entertaining,

  Speaker 1: but it's tiring. It is a very long day. Basically,

  Speaker 1: the night before is when your day starts. They send
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: out sporadic emails, one at five, when at six, one
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: at seven, one, eight, and they're asking you all of
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: these questions, like what do you think about Bruce Arians retiring? Actually,

  Speaker 1: we had a full show developed by the time Bruce
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: Arians stepped down, so we had to totally scrap it.

  Speaker 1: This is live TV, baby. Anyways, they send you the
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: emails the night before and they're asking you about all
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: these blocks. Sometimes you have written segments, sometimes you have sketches.

  Speaker 1: We wrote an entire song, so they're putting together the
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: show the night before. Also, there are staggering like directors
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: and producers. So a guy that works on Monday, Wednesday,
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: Friday probably isn't working on Tuesday Thursday because it's so
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: much work. But it's the same hosts every day. Yeah,
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: so it's intense. It's a really intense show. You wake
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: up I think my car picked me up at like
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: four to fifty every day am. Yeah. And meanwhile I'm
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: on West Coast time, so I am full zombie rolling
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: out of bed. Well, they're lucky if I showered, let
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: me tell you that. And I would get into work
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: and you have a phone call at five thirty and
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: you walk through the whole show, and everyone's kind of
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: giving their opinions, especially if news dropped overnight. It's way
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: more intense in season because there's a lot of stuff
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: happening and there's games happening, so you kind of have
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: to give your thoughts and feelings in the morning, and
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: then you get right in a hair and makeup. That's
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: an hour because your girls looking a little rough at
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: that time. And then six forty five year on set
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: and away you go for three hours. You're in this chair.

  Speaker 1: You have to time out your bathroom breaks. You gotta
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: be really smart about everything. But it is a really
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: tough show. And kudos to the people that have been
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: doing it for like six years. Pretty amazing. But I

  Speaker 1: had so much fun. So that's what I was doing

  Speaker 1: last week when I couldn't do a podcast. Do you

  Speaker 1: people understand I couldn't even make it past eight o'clock.

  Speaker 1: I had one glass of wheat wine. Oh, I had

  Speaker 1: her offs. He's in baby. Look at a hat. I'm golfing.

  Speaker 1: am I a bad golfer if I didn't even realize

  Speaker 1: that the Masters were this weekend. But I wore this hat. No,

  Speaker 1: Tiger Woods is back. He's going to be playing this weekend.

  Speaker 1: wasn't really checking my phone, but when that happened, I

  Speaker 1: got on Twitter, and literally every tweet on my timeline
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: it looked like. I was like, yeah, I went back
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: on my timeline to kind of see what I had,
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: just because we missed a lot this past week, so
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: I went back on my timeline to see what I

  Speaker 1: was talking about. I kind of had to like refresh

  Speaker 1: my brain, and I saw those tweets from that moment

  Speaker 1: and it was just oh my god, all caps wait

  Speaker 1: When you're outside of work, that's all you know. You

  Speaker 1: he got eight hours out of the day so that

  Speaker 1: so he's not doing it for more work life balance.

  Speaker 1: an escape. And we have no idea what they are doing,

  Speaker 1: describe that. But the show is so good and they

  Speaker 1: elevator is where they switched to their severed lives, so

  Speaker 1: it all happens in the elevator. So every single day

  Speaker 1: the severed version, when they get to work, it's they're

  Speaker 1: stuck on a loop. It's every single day they go

  Speaker 1: into the elevator to go home and their next memory

  Speaker 1: is them waking up in an elevator coming back to work. Wow.
