- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means, he smarts
- 0:06Speaker 2: amone on seven tenor.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Well, hey, we'll get to Minnesota all the latest. We'll
- 0:15Speaker 3: get to Mom, Donnie, we'll get to the super Bowl,
- 0:18Speaker 3: We'll get to those crazy late night hosts and more. Minnesota.
- 0:25Speaker 3: It's a mess. It's absolute chaos. It's out of control.
- 0:29Speaker 3: The narrative not on the ground, it's just out of control,
- 0:31Speaker 3: this whole narrative. President Trump getting hands on yesterday trying
- 0:35Speaker 3: to fix this. He has sent Tom Holman to Minnesota
- 0:40Speaker 3: to straighten things out. He's sideline. Christy Nome, who was
- 0:45Speaker 3: very upset about it, demanded to see him last night
- 0:48Speaker 3: and came into the White House for a two hour
- 0:51Speaker 3: meeting with President Trump. Susie Wilds in the room. There
- 0:56Speaker 3: was another person there. I forget who it was, but
- 1:00Speaker 3: they hashed it out for a couple of hours. Some
- 1:02Speaker 3: people that have worked with Trump for years argue that
- 1:05Speaker 3: when you're in the firing line there, when you're in
- 1:08Speaker 3: the doghouse, it's better to stay away for a little
- 1:11Speaker 3: while instead of going right into the lion's den. But
- 1:14Speaker 3: Christy Nome wanted to go confront him with all this,
- 1:17Speaker 3: they had a long talk. I don't know what's going
- 1:19Speaker 3: to come of it. She probably will remain sidelined for
- 1:21Speaker 3: a while and then they'll decide her fate. There's a
- 1:25Speaker 3: chief of Border patrol that was in Minnesota who has
- 1:28Speaker 3: been pulled out of there, told to get out of Minnesota,
- 1:31Speaker 3: take his border patrol and leave. Problem with Nome and
- 1:34Speaker 3: the Border patrol guy Bavino is they just were too
- 1:38Speaker 3: knee jerk in their response. G Nome saying Preddi, the
- 1:43Speaker 3: guy that was shot was clearly a domestic terrorist brandishing
- 1:47Speaker 3: a gun. Bavino spoke in the same kind of way.
- 1:50Speaker 3: And then when you look at the video, that's not
- 1:51Speaker 3: the case at all, and it's not responsible of a
- 1:54Speaker 3: public official to start shooting their mouth off, and they
- 1:56Speaker 3: haven't really examined the video. It looks like this may
- 1:59Speaker 3: have been a bad shooting. In the case of Renee Good,
- 2:04Speaker 3: it was a totally, absolutely thousand percent justified shooting. You
- 2:08Speaker 3: could argue and have to shoot. They could have found
- 2:10Speaker 3: another way, just get out of the way and let
- 2:12Speaker 3: her go and catch her somewhere else, But it is
- 2:15Speaker 3: a justified shooting if you fire, and if you're the
- 2:17Speaker 3: guy standing there and the car hits you, and it
- 2:19Speaker 3: did hit the cop, and it's coming at you, you
- 2:24Speaker 3: do fire. You can panic. Now in the case of
- 2:27Speaker 3: this Pretty shooting, it's horrible, it's tragic, But the guy
- 2:35Speaker 3: shouldn't have been there in the first place. You shouldn't
- 2:38Speaker 3: if you're going to go get in the face of
- 2:39Speaker 3: cops and confront them and get all over them, you
- 2:42Speaker 3: probably shouldn't carry a gun on you with extra magazines
- 2:45Speaker 3: while you do that. If you're confronting the police, don't
- 2:48Speaker 3: bring a gun with you. It's not going to help
- 2:50Speaker 3: the situation. The real cause of all this now, the cop.
- 2:54Speaker 3: It may turn out, they may find he was wrong
- 2:56Speaker 3: in the shooting, was no reason to shoot. But in
- 2:58Speaker 3: all that chaos and commotion, I remember it looked like
- 3:00Speaker 3: Pretty was resisting arrest, which is a crime. And if
- 3:03Speaker 3: your guy's resisting arrest and he has a gun on him,
- 3:06Speaker 3: now nobody knows if the gun accidentally fired. It's a
- 3:09Speaker 3: sig handgun and they're famous for accidentally discharging. But the
- 3:15Speaker 3: real cause of all this, you gotta blame Tim Waltz
- 3:19Speaker 3: and Mayor Fry. This ice operation takes place all over
- 3:25Speaker 3: the country, and if you look at the numbers. The
- 3:28Speaker 3: ICE operations in many many other places are much much bigger,
- 3:33Speaker 3: much bigger, going after many more people, and it's totally
- 3:36Speaker 3: peaceful and calm. And why is that Because in Texas
- 3:40Speaker 3: and other places, the locals cooperate fully. The local police
- 3:45Speaker 3: go with ICE, maintain order, local officials coordinate, cooperate, and
- 3:50Speaker 3: everything is done smoothly, quietly, peacefully. Hey, we had Bruce
- 3:54Speaker 3: Blakeman on the show yesterday, Nasau County executive. You know,
- 3:57Speaker 3: there's been a tremendous amount of ICE activity over the
- 4:01Speaker 3: last year in Nasau County. How come you don't see
- 4:04Speaker 3: any problems there because, as he explained, he cooperates. They
- 4:08Speaker 3: signed an agreement to cooperate fully with ICE, give them
- 4:10Speaker 3: whatever they need. Local police will work with them. They
- 4:14Speaker 3: even lend them jail cells for whatever they need. That
- 4:17Speaker 3: you cooperate, you coordinate, It's that simple. So the difference
- 4:22Speaker 3: here in Minnesota, we haven't really seen this anywhere else.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Not only is there no cooperation, but the local police
- 4:28Speaker 3: don't even show up. When there's protesters out there, massive
- 4:31Speaker 3: amount of protesters confronting Ice, local police are told to
- 4:35Speaker 3: stay away. Normally, when you got a bunch of protesters
- 4:38Speaker 3: like that. Police will always show up just to keep order,
- 4:42Speaker 3: just to make sure the protesters remain orderly and civil
- 4:46Speaker 3: and not physical and not confronting cops. But Mayor Fry
- 4:52Speaker 3: obviously told the police stay away, don't get involved. Same
- 4:55Speaker 3: thing with Waltz. He could send in the National Guard.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Whenever you can have these protests. Its to protest. But
- 5:00Speaker 3: you set up a barricade, the ICE agents are here,
- 5:04Speaker 3: and on the other side of the street are the
- 5:05Speaker 3: protesters yelling with their science. You don't let them go
- 5:08Speaker 3: right in the face of ice, get physical, get that
- 5:11Speaker 3: close to them, confront them. It's just gonna it's just
- 5:14Speaker 3: gonna rile things up. And then you've got these two guys,
- 5:17Speaker 3: Fry and Waltz making totally irresponsible statements. You see the
- 5:21Speaker 3: video of Waltz all over TV online with those speeches,
- 5:26Speaker 3: yelling Ice is they're not law enforcement. This is Waltz.
- 5:30Speaker 3: He kept saying, stop calling them law enforcement, they're not
- 5:32Speaker 3: law enforcement. Well, of course they are. But if you
- 5:35Speaker 3: tell these protesters they're not law enforcement, that changes the
- 5:39Speaker 3: whole picture for them. Where he should have made clear,
- 5:42Speaker 3: these are law enforcement, These are official police, law enforcement.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Be careful with them, don't tangle with them, and you
- 5:49Speaker 3: got Fry is just as bad now. The President trying
- 5:52Speaker 3: to settle this down yesterday, told Noam to stay away.
- 5:56Speaker 3: He pulled her out of the situation, told Bovino to
- 5:59Speaker 3: get out him in a soda. He got on the
- 6:02Speaker 3: phone with Governor Waltz. They had a long conversation. It
- 6:05Speaker 3: was very friendly. Both sides said it went well. Both
- 6:08Speaker 3: sides said they'll no I'll try to cooperate and work together.
- 6:12Speaker 3: He then had a phone call with may Or Fry.
- 6:14Speaker 3: He said that was productive too. I think these two
- 6:17Speaker 3: guys realize they can't. I know the game they're playing,
- 6:21Speaker 3: but the game they're playing it may work, but it's
- 6:26Speaker 3: getting some citizens killed. And had to Fry and Waltz
- 6:30Speaker 3: been more responsible. You wouldn't have had these two deaths
- 6:34Speaker 3: if from the beginning they were all over the air saying,
- 6:38Speaker 3: you know, be calm, be peaceful, don't get that close
- 6:40Speaker 3: to the Ice agent's protest as loud as you want.
- 6:44Speaker 3: But from across the street, remember on January sixth, as
- 6:48Speaker 3: soon as that started, well everybody started yelling at Trump,
- 6:52Speaker 3: come on the make a statement, tell them to go home,
- 6:55Speaker 3: tell them to be peaceful, tell them to get out
- 6:56Speaker 3: of the capitol. Well where was that for the last
- 7:00Speaker 3: week for Waltz and Fry, Well, I've never yelling him
- 7:03Speaker 3: tell these protesters to not get so confrontational. But we'll
- 7:07Speaker 3: see things will calm down. Waltz even put out a
- 7:09Speaker 3: statement saying he's happy that Tom Holman is going to Minnesota.
- 7:14Speaker 3: He said even the mayor said, both Governor Waltz and
- 7:17Speaker 3: I want to make it better. So they'll try to
- 7:19Speaker 3: clean this up. Now, how did it get so out
- 7:22Speaker 3: of control? Where you got Waltz and Fry. The other
- 7:25Speaker 3: thing is you got all the left wing media riling
- 7:27Speaker 3: up these protesters, convincing them that people are being beaten
- 7:31Speaker 3: in the street, that these are Nazi goons. They're assaulting people,
- 7:35Speaker 3: yanking people out of their cars. This is going. This
- 7:38Speaker 3: is You may be on Twitter, but all the left
- 7:42Speaker 3: wing are on what's called Blue Sky, that's the liberal Twitter,
- 7:46Speaker 3: And if you look at Blue Sky all day long,
- 7:48Speaker 3: they're just reporting that everybody's being pulled out of their cars,
- 7:51Speaker 3: people are being beaten in the street left and right
- 7:53Speaker 3: by ice. Well, if you thought that was really happening,
- 7:55Speaker 3: and they're convinced of this, they were arresting a five
- 7:58Speaker 3: year old. None of this is true, but it gets
- 8:01Speaker 3: them all crazy. And then you got these late night
- 8:04Speaker 3: house You got Jimmy Kimmel last night, who in the
- 8:07Speaker 3: opening monologue starts talking about this every day is now
- 8:13Speaker 3: a nightmare. And Kimmel starts to cry on the air.
- 8:17Speaker 3: My wife and I have family in Minneapolis. They're afraid
- 8:20Speaker 3: to take their kids to school. They're afraid to go
- 8:22Speaker 3: to work. Kimmel crying throughout. No, no, none of this is true.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Check yesterday Minneapolis schools were full. People showed up at
- 8:31Speaker 3: the office. Nobody's getting bothered except illegals. Well, once in
- 8:35Speaker 3: a while they might slip up and make a mistake,
- 8:37Speaker 3: but nobody's getting nobody's afraid to go to work every day.
- 8:41Speaker 3: If they're afraid, I would only be afraid of these
- 8:43Speaker 3: crazy protesters all over the street. And what kind of
- 8:46Speaker 3: late night show is this where the you know it's
- 8:49Speaker 3: late night supposed to be Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien,
- 8:55Speaker 3: David let him. You come out and you do an
- 8:57Speaker 3: opening monologue, you make everybody laugh. It's a late night
- 8:59Speaker 3: sh entertainment. Laughs before you go to bed. When did
- 9:04Speaker 3: it turn until you come out and cry and scream
- 9:06Speaker 3: and terrify people right before they're going to go to bed.
- 9:08Speaker 3: On the Late night show, Hey, if you're watching CNN,
- 9:12Speaker 3: you're seeing all. Now listen to this. Here's a typical protester.
- 9:15Speaker 3: This is CNN. They put this guy on the air,
- 9:18Speaker 3: this crazy protester, and let him say this on CNN.
- 9:21Speaker 4: I understand that that they take people to Fort Snelling here,
- 9:24Speaker 4: which literally was built as a concentration camp, and Alligator Alcatraz,
- 9:29Speaker 4: which I think we can all agree is a concentration camp.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Not saying they're dota.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I'm not saying they're putting people in ovens yet, but
- 9:36Speaker 4: these are concentration camps.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Okay, now I don't need to argue with you. Yeah,
- 9:42Speaker 3: now you get this crazy, ridiculous kind of stuff. It's
- 9:45Speaker 3: like the fake story that they arrested a five year old.
- 9:47Speaker 3: They never arrested a five year old. They were there
- 9:50Speaker 3: to arrest an illegal alien, criminal illegal alien. When the
- 9:53Speaker 3: police he saw the ICE agents coming, he ran, abandoning
- 9:58Speaker 3: his five year old, leaving the five year old loan
- 10:00Speaker 3: there on the street. So they chased the guy, but
- 10:03Speaker 3: a couple of agents remained and took care of the
- 10:05Speaker 3: five year old. They even took her to McDonald's. They
- 10:07Speaker 3: did not arrest her. But all these fake stories all
- 10:11Speaker 3: over the place. You got a Waltz talking about this
- 10:15Speaker 3: is like people are trapped inside, afraid to go out
- 10:18Speaker 3: and keep pushing this myth. Tim Waltz even said this
- 10:23Speaker 3: is like the diary of Anne Frank, where she's afraid
- 10:26Speaker 3: to go out because of the Nazis. Now, this is
- 10:27Speaker 3: just absolutely awful. Jewish organizations are condemning Waltz for the
- 10:33Speaker 3: Holocaust Museum has come out to condemn him. He says,
- 10:36Speaker 3: it's deeply offensive to compare this to the horrors witnessed
- 10:40Speaker 3: by Anne Frank. It is a horrible, horrible thing to
- 10:43Speaker 3: trivialize the Holocaust, and that's what these guys are doing.
- 10:47Speaker 3: But Press Secretary Caroline Levitt perfect yesterday. Listen, we had
- 10:53Speaker 3: a lot of protesters shot, from Ashley Babbitt to lots
- 10:57Speaker 3: of them. Democrats never said a word. And when do
- 11:00Speaker 3: protesters get shot? When the confrontations get out of control
- 11:04Speaker 3: like January sixth, or the left wing kooks of Minnesota.
- 11:08Speaker 6: But here's Levit, yesterday, the pain of American angel families
- 11:11Speaker 6: was ignored and dismissed because it undermined the Democrat narrative.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Innocent Americans like Jocelyn Nungray Lake and Riley and Rachel
- 11:20Speaker 6: Morin are just a few of the many victims savagely
- 11:23Speaker 6: murdered by illegal alien criminals earlier this month, and illegal
- 11:27Speaker 6: alien from Mexico with a long criminal history who came
- 11:30Speaker 6: into our country under Joe Biden's administration threw a baseball
- 11:35Speaker 6: sized stone at a school bus carrying children in New
- 11:38Speaker 6: Jersey and fractured the skull of an eight year old
- 11:41Speaker 6: innocent child.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Yet, now, be honest, if pretty had been killed by
- 11:46Speaker 3: an illegal alien, you think you'd be hearing it all
- 11:49Speaker 3: over the news. You think it'd be a major news story.
- 11:51Speaker 3: You think it would lead the network news. Here's more
- 11:54Speaker 3: of lovit.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Number One, Governor Waltz Mayerfry and all Democrat leaders should
- 11:58Speaker 6: turn over all criminals illegal aliens currently incarcerated in their
- 12:03Speaker 6: prisons in jails to federal authorities, along with any illegal
- 12:06Speaker 6: aliens with active warrants or known criminal histories for immediate deportation.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Number two, State and local law enforcement must agree to
- 12:16Speaker 6: turn over all illegal aliens who are arrested by local police.
- 12:21Speaker 6: And then thirdly, local police must assist federal law enforcement
- 12:25Speaker 6: in apprehending, in detaining illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes,
- 12:30Speaker 6: especially violent crimes.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Yeah, again in other states. Texas is a good example,
- 12:36Speaker 3: but many other states, ICE is doing the same exact
- 12:38Speaker 3: thing in much bigger numbers, and it's totally peaceful and
- 12:42Speaker 3: fine because the local authorities coordinate and cooperate.
- 12:46Speaker 6: What the President is referring to is the fact that
- 12:48Speaker 6: you have Governor Wilson and again the mayor, who have
- 12:51Speaker 6: been encouraging these left wing agitators to come out into harass,
- 12:56Speaker 6: into docks, into threatn ice, and to make this conversation
- 12:59Speaker 6: about a smear lie about federal law enforcement, who again
- 13:03Speaker 6: are just trying to do their jobs in an attempt
- 13:06Speaker 6: to distract from the widespread, massive fraud that has taken
- 13:10Speaker 6: place in their state. Billions in billions of dollars has
- 13:13Speaker 6: been stolen from law abiding taxpayers in Minnesota.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Now here's the other question. People always say, well, Lisa protests,
- 13:22Speaker 3: they're organized, they're funded, who's behind them, you know, you
- 13:25Speaker 3: know about George Soros and the Soros type organizations that
- 13:29Speaker 3: arrange all this. But who's really pushing a lot of this.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Neville Roy Singham. Remember this name, Neville Roy Singham. He's
- 13:41Speaker 3: an American businessman, made billions, social activist. He has left
- 13:47Speaker 3: the country. He's living in Singapore. He is very closely
- 13:52Speaker 3: coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party and from them he's
- 13:57Speaker 3: received millions and millions in funding. Neville Roy Singham runs
- 14:03Speaker 3: a thing called the People's Forum. Congress is looking into him.
- 14:07Speaker 3: The Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith is demanding
- 14:11Speaker 3: all of their records. Again, He's gonna be investigated. They're
- 14:16Speaker 3: going to even the New York Times. Even the New
- 14:18Speaker 3: York Times has come out and said Singham is running
- 14:21Speaker 3: a global web of Chinese propaganda here in the US.
- 14:26Speaker 3: The New York Times investigation unraveled the financial network that
- 14:30Speaker 3: stretches all over the country, all the way back to Shanghai. Singham,
- 14:34Speaker 3: it says. This is the Times known as a socialist
- 14:37Speaker 3: benefactor of far left causes. What is less known, they say,
- 14:42Speaker 3: and is hidden amid a tangle of nonprofit groups and companies,
- 14:46Speaker 3: is that Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine,
- 14:50Speaker 3: financing its propaganda worldwide. He is, according to Congress, what
- 14:56Speaker 3: they're looking into that. He's incited protests and riots across
- 14:59Speaker 3: the US, including Violet demonstrations against immigration and customs enforcement
- 15:05Speaker 3: against ice. So just remember this name, Neville Roy Singman,
- 15:11Speaker 3: the guy financing a lot of this. Now, Bill O'Reilly
- 15:14Speaker 3: will be with us, Not this hour, he'll be with
- 15:16Speaker 3: us right after the news at eleven or at the
- 15:19Speaker 3: second hour. At the top of the hour, Bill O'Reilly
- 15:22Speaker 3: will be with us to talk about this guy, Neville
- 15:24Speaker 3: Roy Singman. Just remember that name. You're going to be
- 15:26Speaker 3: hearing a lot about this guy, the new, maybe even
- 15:29Speaker 3: more dangerous version of George Soros. Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Next eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten
- 15:38Speaker 3: is the number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:42Speaker 3: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio.
- 15:44Speaker 5: App, save time and tap the preset button.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Now.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on woor.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Mario in Manhattan. Mario,
- 15:57Speaker 3: how you doing, Hey.
- 15:59Speaker 7: Buys, let me tell you my heart goes out, But
- 16:02Speaker 7: you don't bring a machine gun to a protest. Also,
- 16:06Speaker 7: why don't they protest that they're American veterans?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Let me ask, is somebody chasing you? I'm very excited. Huh.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Why don't they protest American veterans out in the elements
- 16:19Speaker 7: eating and drinking out of garbage cans?
- 16:20Speaker 3: All right, I'll tell them to do that. Let's go
- 16:22Speaker 3: to Tom and Queen's Tom. How you doing?
- 16:26Speaker 8: Hey, Mark?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 16:28Speaker 9: I would suggest Trump rename ICE into the National Immigration's
- 16:34Speaker 9: Customs Enforcement Nice.
- 16:36Speaker 10: That would really throw the protesters off when they got
- 16:39Speaker 10: to go around.
- 16:39Speaker 3: To the idea like that's not bad. I call it nice.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I like that. Let's go to Kenny and Bayside Kenny.
- 16:46Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 16:47Speaker 9: Oh?
- 16:47Speaker 11: Hi, Mark? When did we officially surrender it to China?
- 16:50Speaker 11: That's what I want to know. What President was it?
- 16:52Speaker 11: When did it happen? And it's unfortunate we have unlimited immigrations.
- 16:56Speaker 11: Sixty five immigration actors got to go. Mark, you we
- 16:59Speaker 11: need on outside like never before, my.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Man, If you say so, Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert,
- 17:08Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 17:10Speaker 9: Good morning? Mark? Thank you for taking my call. Well,
- 17:13Speaker 9: I mean I understand about President Trump, and the man
- 17:16Speaker 9: has his finger on the pulse and he gets all
- 17:18Speaker 9: the first tend information. So when he makes a decision,
- 17:21Speaker 9: he sees the whole picture. Unfortunately we don't. And that's
- 17:25Speaker 9: why a lot of people, you know, you just feel
- 17:28Speaker 9: bad that what happened with Christy Nolman and especially Bovino
- 17:32Speaker 9: and them being taken off the off the stage. Now.
- 17:35Speaker 9: But President Trump knows what he's doing. And just like
- 17:38Speaker 9: the thing with Greenland, there's a reason why that man
- 17:41Speaker 9: is pushing he's not doing because he's a real estate agent.
- 17:43Speaker 9: He knows he's got his hand on the pulse and
- 17:46Speaker 9: he sees all the information. And the other thing is
- 17:48Speaker 9: when they said brandishing that weapon, could be that the
- 17:51Speaker 9: guy he looked like he had an open coat and
- 17:54Speaker 9: his holster might have been showing and maybe the agents
- 17:57Speaker 9: that's what they, you know, told Christy Nolmany.
- 18:00Speaker 3: That's part of the investigation. He was armed. He did
- 18:02Speaker 3: have a handgun, and again they're struggling with him pushing him.
- 18:06Speaker 3: He may have had it somewhere on a holster, on
- 18:08Speaker 3: his belt, somewhere along his belt, and the coat might
- 18:11Speaker 3: have opened. One report is you know, when a copsy's
- 18:14Speaker 3: a gun, he's supposed to yell gun. So all the
- 18:16Speaker 3: other officers know. There's one report that they heard him
- 18:19Speaker 3: yell that, which means they saw the gun. But that
- 18:21Speaker 3: doesn't mean the guy fired the gun. But if he
- 18:24Speaker 3: does have a gun and it looked like he was
- 18:26Speaker 3: reaching for it, that would just if a butt. But
- 18:29Speaker 3: that's all a lot of ifs, and it's all got
- 18:31Speaker 3: to be investigated. You know. The thing about the president
- 18:34Speaker 3: having is a finger on the pulse. That's a tough
- 18:36Speaker 3: thing for a president. It's very, very tough. You're locked
- 18:40Speaker 3: up in that White House all day. You know, you
- 18:43Speaker 3: can call people and talk to them, you can watch
- 18:48Speaker 3: TV all day, but it's different from actually being out there.
- 18:51Speaker 3: You know. I know Donald Trump in the Trump Tower
- 18:53Speaker 3: days when his office was there, every so often would
- 18:57Speaker 3: go down to the lobby where there were millions of
- 18:59Speaker 3: tourists walking around and talk to him. Many times during
- 19:02Speaker 3: the day, you know, the car would bring him, but
- 19:03Speaker 3: he before he went in the building, he'd walk around
- 19:05Speaker 3: the street a little, talk to people, get a feel
- 19:07Speaker 3: for things. You can't do that when you're president. It's very,
- 19:10Speaker 3: very tough. I remember Bill Clinton once in the White House.
- 19:14Speaker 3: There's one window where you can see the sidewalk and
- 19:17Speaker 3: he's staring at all the people on the sidewalk in Washington,
- 19:21Speaker 3: d C. And they said, what are you looking at?
- 19:24Speaker 3: He says, I admire those people. They're out there. I'm
- 19:28Speaker 3: stuck in here. I'm trapped in here. And he's trapped.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It's the White House, and he said, it's just the
- 19:33Speaker 3: most luxurious prison in the federal prison system. And again, Clinton,
- 19:37Speaker 3: a people person, loved to be out there talking to people,
- 19:40Speaker 3: shaking hands, but there he was trapped in the White House.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Very tough. Now the president today goes to Iowa to
- 19:47Speaker 3: make a speech. This is important because that's what you
- 19:51Speaker 3: do for a president needs contact. You send him out
- 19:53Speaker 3: to do speeches once a week. And he apparently he's
- 19:55Speaker 3: going to do this once a week. Go out somewhere,
- 19:58Speaker 3: go to a state, meet people, talk. You know, he
- 20:00Speaker 3: does these rallies. You get to talk to a lot
- 20:01Speaker 3: of people along the way. So that'll be good. That'll
- 20:04Speaker 3: happen today. Let's go to Mike in beth Page. Mike,
- 20:07Speaker 3: how you doing good? Mark, how are you good?
- 20:13Speaker 1: I just want to say, I think the thing about
- 20:15Speaker 1: President Trump. I think he's playing chess and the rest
- 20:18Speaker 1: of the world is playing checkers. He's so far ahead
- 20:21Speaker 1: of everybody else, they don't know what's going on.
- 20:23Speaker 3: He's like don't don't count on that. Those Chinese communists
- 20:28Speaker 3: plot like one hundred years out. The Soros and now
- 20:31Speaker 3: the new one Neville Roy Singman, they plot like ten
- 20:34Speaker 3: years ago. They're pretty good chess.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Players too, Okay, Okay, then I don't.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Mean these democrats on the ground. Those are just the
- 20:39Speaker 3: pieces on the board for these No.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Trump is playing chess and the rest of America's playing checkers.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Let me put it that way. Then a lot of
- 20:46Speaker 1: people here don't.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Know what he's doing. Don't don't count on that. Don't
- 20:49Speaker 3: count on that, you know, look back carefully yours him.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Oh no, No, he's a great He's a four D
- 20:56Speaker 3: chess player. But don't diminish the capacity of those democrats.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Remember turning down the ten thousand troops on January sixth,
- 21:03Speaker 3: Look what it led to. They may have plotted that
- 21:05Speaker 3: all out in their head. Hey, you're in beth Page.
- 21:08Speaker 3: What's the situation.
- 21:09Speaker 1: The street's clear, it's cold and very snowy.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I know, but is it traffic moving and the streets
- 21:17Speaker 3: are clear?
- 21:17Speaker 9: Now?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I was on the Southern street this morning. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: drive a school bus. I was on the Southern State
- 21:21Speaker 1: a little bit. It wasn't too bad heading west exit seventeen.
- 21:26Speaker 1: It was pretty good in the town of West Hemp said.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Some of the streets are a little closed up, but
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's tough getting around.
- 21:31Speaker 3: But it's sweater all right. Well, that's good to hear.
- 21:35Speaker 3: In Manhattan, you can see the pavement everywhere, streets totally clear.
- 21:40Speaker 3: There's traffic, not not up to full blast, but there's
- 21:43Speaker 3: a lot more traffic than yesterday. The only problem is,
- 21:46Speaker 3: you know, when they shovel the streets, they pile the
- 21:47Speaker 3: snow banks on the side of between the sidewalk and
- 21:50Speaker 3: the street. So a lot of times the bus pulls up,
- 21:53Speaker 3: people want to get in the bus, but there's like
- 21:55Speaker 3: a four foot snow bank they have to climb up.
- 21:57Speaker 3: You have to look for like a little opening in
- 22:00Speaker 3: those snow banks every so often. Hey, and when we
- 22:03Speaker 3: come back, John Carney, brilliant guy. Breitbart. You know, Breitbart
- 22:08Speaker 3: News is a great website, but one of the probably
- 22:11Speaker 3: the best business website now is Breitbart Business Digest. And
- 22:14Speaker 3: John Carney edits that and writes that we'll talk to
- 22:18Speaker 3: him about Minnesota. We'll talk to him about these crazy
- 22:20Speaker 3: corporate leaders in Minnesota getting too involved in all this. Anyway,
- 22:23Speaker 3: We'll get to that and more coming up next on
- 22:26Speaker 3: seven to ten wo R. Let's get the latest news.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Here's Jacqueline carl Hey Mark.
- 22:30Speaker 12: A meeting is expected to be held today between President
- 22:33Speaker 12: Trump's borders are Tom Homan and Minneapolis mayor and Jacob Fry.
- 22:37Speaker 12: This comes as tensions in Minnesota continue to run high
- 22:40Speaker 12: following the fatal shooting of thirty seven year old Alex
- 22:43Speaker 12: Pretty by federal immigration agent. Homan is taking over as
- 22:47Speaker 12: Trump's point person in Minnesota, as top border patrol official
- 22:51Speaker 12: Greg Bavino is returning to his old position in California,
- 22:55Speaker 12: and New York City public schools are reopening today for
- 22:57Speaker 12: in person learning.
- 22:58Speaker 13: That follows one day pivot to remote instruction following the
- 23:02Speaker 13: massive snowstorm. Mayors are on mom Donnie says all programs
- 23:06Speaker 13: and activities will resume as scheduled. He also says remote
- 23:10Speaker 13: learning was successful, noting that preliminary data shows nearly eighty
- 23:14Speaker 13: percent of students successfully logged into virtual classrooms on Monday,
- 23:19Speaker 13: Sarah Lee Kessler War.
- 23:21Speaker 12: News support a sponsored by Lows The Mark.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Zimo Show on wor.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Well, We'd like to bring in the smartest people around now.
- 23:31Speaker 3: The Breitbart Business Digest that is must read every day.
- 23:36Speaker 3: All the top economists, business people all read it religiously
- 23:39Speaker 3: every day. Breke Bart Business Digest. Sign up for it.
- 23:43Speaker 3: You can get the daily newsletter coming write to you
- 23:46Speaker 3: Breitbart dot com and then go to Breitbart Business Digest.
- 23:50Speaker 3: The guy that edits it and writes all this brilliant
- 23:52Speaker 3: stuff is with us, John Carney, How you doing very good?
- 23:56Speaker 1: Mark, trying to stay warm and out.
- 23:59Speaker 9: Of the snow.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Well, that's good, it's not easy nowadays. Hey, let's talk
- 24:03Speaker 3: about Minnesota. Now, you got a silly governor and mayor,
- 24:07Speaker 3: but you got major corporations in Minnesota, Minneapolis, where are
- 24:11Speaker 3: they in all of this?
- 24:13Speaker 1: So it's very interesting. A bunch of them sent a
- 24:17Speaker 1: letter calling for de escalation. And one of the things
- 24:24Speaker 1: that they didn't do, though, is really it's specify what
- 24:27Speaker 1: they meant by this. It seems like they're calling on
- 24:31Speaker 1: the Trump administration to back down, but that would be
- 24:34Speaker 1: a disaster. The fastest way to de escalate what's happening
- 24:39Speaker 1: would be for Walls, the governor, Ellison, the attorney general
- 24:45Speaker 1: to actually stop doing what they've been doing, which is
- 24:49Speaker 1: resisting federal law enforcement, and start cooperating with it. And
- 24:54Speaker 1: I think, really that's what the.
- 24:56Speaker 14: Businesses in Minnesota.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Should actually start calling, and businesses around the country should
- 25:02Speaker 1: start calling on the political leadership to begin to cooperate
- 25:07Speaker 1: and stop resisting. The only way to de escalate this
- 25:11Speaker 1: really is for this to do what's going on in
- 25:14Speaker 1: most of the country. Mark most of the country isn't
- 25:17Speaker 1: having the problems we're seeing in Minneapolis and Minnesota because
- 25:23Speaker 1: ICE doesn't have to do it alone. It's not the
- 25:26Speaker 1: it's not border patrol, it's not ICE, it's not DHS.
- 25:30Speaker 1: In most of the country, local law enforcement is cooperating
- 25:34Speaker 1: with federal immigration enforcement. It's in Minnesota that we're having
- 25:38Speaker 1: the problem.
- 25:39Speaker 3: So could this have an effect on Minnesota for the
- 25:41Speaker 3: next few years and maybe business is not opening there
- 25:43Speaker 3: and not moving there.
- 25:45Speaker 1: It could I actually think, Look, we know that when
- 25:49Speaker 1: businesses don't like a state policy.
- 25:52Speaker 14: We saw this.
- 25:54Speaker 1: In some pretty horrible ways a.
- 25:59Speaker 14: Few years ago.
- 26:00Speaker 1: When businesses don't like the way a state government is operating,
- 26:04Speaker 1: they can opt to not do business there, to threaten
- 26:08Speaker 1: more or less to boycott the state. We North Carolina
- 26:12Speaker 1: faced that a few years ago when it had a
- 26:15Speaker 1: policy dispute. I think Kim Cook's Apple was going to
- 26:18Speaker 1: pull out, you can. You know, we've seen things like
- 26:21Speaker 1: sports leagues threatened and threatened to leave.
- 26:24Speaker 14: Some of these businesses obviously can't leave Minnesota because that's
- 26:27Speaker 14: where they're based, but they can send a message, a
- 26:31Speaker 14: powerful one and saying, look, this is making business impossible
- 26:34Speaker 14: in the state and you need to do something to
- 26:37Speaker 14: fix it.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yeah, well, let's hope they do that. Now, the Fed,
- 26:44Speaker 3: we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow as far
- 26:45Speaker 3: as the rate, but what do you think?
- 26:49Speaker 1: So, yeah, Tomorrow's Fed will be interesting. They're not going
- 26:53Speaker 1: to do anything in terms of interest rates, But what
- 26:57Speaker 1: we will watch for is what they though they will
- 27:01Speaker 1: do in the future, sort of what the path for
- 27:04Speaker 1: interest rates are. I'm not sure it matters all that
- 27:07Speaker 1: much because this is Jerome Powell's third to last meeting
- 27:12Speaker 1: as chairman, and I think the market is going to say,
- 27:17Speaker 1: we really won't know how. The Fed's probably not going
- 27:20Speaker 1: to cut again. While Powell is chairman, he is in
- 27:24Speaker 1: a fight with Trump. He knows Trump wants to cut
- 27:26Speaker 1: the interest rate, and he's probably you know, frankly, it's
- 27:30Speaker 1: super irresponsible. But I think he's Jerome Powell's.
- 27:34Speaker 2: In resistance mode and is not going to cut as
- 27:37Speaker 2: long as he's there, right, So, but we will look
- 27:41Speaker 2: for signals for what other people on the FED might
- 27:45Speaker 2: be thinking. It's Jerome Powell's he'll hold a press conference,
- 27:48Speaker 2: but he may also talk about what the committee is thinking,
- 27:51Speaker 2: and that is what people will want to know.
- 27:54Speaker 8: Where are rates going?
- 27:55Speaker 3: You know?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Not? So Powell is there in this meeting, two more
- 27:59Speaker 1: meetings after that. But what happens this summer and this
- 28:03Speaker 1: fall and this winter.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Boy, this guy Powell, he is so bad as fetchim
- 28:07Speaker 3: Remind me again, how did we get stuck with this guy?
- 28:10Speaker 3: It was Trump to pick?
- 28:11Speaker 1: I mean yeah, he was Trump's pick. There were better picks.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Trump listened to the guy who was his Treasury secretary
- 28:20Speaker 1: at the time, Steve Maninchen, who frankly gave him bad advice.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Powell was a Republican, but he had been at the
- 28:28Speaker 1: FED for quite a while already. And it was between
- 28:33Speaker 1: Powell and a couple other people. Trump had meetings with
- 28:35Speaker 1: all of them, and Palell sweet talked Trump into believing
- 28:40Speaker 1: that he would be good. It's been a disaster, and
- 28:43Speaker 1: it's not just the monetary policy. If you look at
- 28:46Speaker 1: the number of FED officials who have had to resign
- 28:49Speaker 1: under scandals because they violated ethics and trading rules at
- 28:53Speaker 1: the FED, or some of them may not have violated
- 28:57Speaker 1: the rules but came close enough that it became a
- 28:59Speaker 1: big deal and they were forced to resign. We haven't
- 29:03Speaker 1: really seen such a scandal ridden Federal Reserve in its
- 29:09Speaker 1: entire history. So Pale's been a bad job. He's run
- 29:12Speaker 1: a dirty shop. He should step down. Frankly, it would
- 29:16Speaker 1: be great if he would announce tomorrow's stepping down, but that's.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Not in the cards.
- 29:21Speaker 3: He's like the Fauci of the economy. Kind of.
- 29:25Speaker 1: That's perfect. He is the Fauci of the economy. The
- 29:29Speaker 1: good news is Trump is going to.
- 29:30Speaker 14: Get to name a replacement.
- 29:34Speaker 1: He may do it this week. In fact, they've indicated
- 29:38Speaker 1: that that Trump's announcement's going to come out. If I
- 29:42Speaker 1: were Trump, I do it tomorrow during Pal's step onto
- 29:47Speaker 1: the guy's you know, press conference and say I'm that's it.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Don't pay attention, I'm announcing the new guy.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Well, it's always been down to these two. Kevin's Kevin
- 29:56Speaker 3: has Kevin Walsh, who everybody likes, but there's a third
- 29:59Speaker 3: guy that all and popped up in the mix here.
- 30:02Speaker 3: What's his name Reiner or whatever his name is?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Look, yes, Rick Reiner, who is a Wall Street guy.
- 30:08Speaker 1: He's is smart, he knows markets very well. He isn't
- 30:14Speaker 1: at the Fed and hasn't ever been. That that I think,
- 30:17Speaker 1: from Trump's point of view, is a plus. It's a
- 30:20Speaker 1: little weird to consider him an outsider because he is
- 30:23Speaker 1: a deep Wall Street insider in many ways. He also
- 30:28Speaker 1: has a history of donating to some fairly left wing Democrats,
- 30:34Speaker 1: Sharon Brown of the Where that I think may trouble
- 30:40Speaker 1: some of the you know, the the Trump administration. They
- 30:43Speaker 1: may wonder is this really the right guy? But frankly, look,
- 30:48Speaker 1: how was a Republican. He looked good on paper. So
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm not upset if they're if they're thinking a little
- 30:53Speaker 1: bit more broadly about who to a.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Point, Yeah, but this guy sounds like another Powell with
- 30:57Speaker 3: those left wing crazy donations back then, another wolf in
- 31:00Speaker 3: sheep's clothing. I hope President Trump learned this lesson, go
- 31:04Speaker 3: with the safer choice.
- 31:06Speaker 8: I think.
- 31:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I also hope Trump they should really be questioning him
- 31:12Speaker 1: very closely in a different way that they than they
- 31:14Speaker 1: would question, say, Kevin Hasset, we know where Kevin Hasset stands.
- 31:18Speaker 1: We really need to know more about how Rick Writers
- 31:21Speaker 1: is of the world and monetary policy. I think that,
- 31:27Speaker 1: you know, I'm pretty confident, Look Secretary Treasury. Treasury Secretary
- 31:32Speaker 1: Bessett is running the vetting process, and I'm very confident
- 31:38Speaker 1: that he is asking all of the right questions and
- 31:43Speaker 1: so you know, if he's giving the right answers, that's good.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But then again, as I said earlier, Owls seemed to
- 31:50Speaker 1: give the right answers and it didn't work. So you
- 31:54Speaker 1: have to you know, these guys will say anything to
- 31:56Speaker 1: get you know, it's the most powerful, it's one of
- 31:58Speaker 1: it's arguably the most powerful position in finance in the world,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and one of the most powerful positions anywhere, you know,
- 32:05Speaker 1: second to the US President, but not that far in
- 32:09Speaker 1: many ways, I really hope that, you know, people will
- 32:12Speaker 1: say anything to get the job.
- 32:14Speaker 8: So I hope they're being very.
- 32:15Speaker 14: Very careful about disappointment.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Hey, John Carneie Breitbart Business died. Just one more question
- 32:21Speaker 3: if you watch your CNN or MS. Now, we're in
- 32:23Speaker 3: a terrible economic crisis, affordability crisis, the economy is in
- 32:27Speaker 3: real trouble. You're the expert. What is the truth?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not true. The economy is actually doing very well.
- 32:34Speaker 1: There are some spots of weakness. The housing market is
- 32:37Speaker 1: still weak and that's a problem. But I think the
- 32:41Speaker 1: economy will do very well this year. We're actually set
- 32:44Speaker 1: up because we're getting so many things coming online all
- 32:48Speaker 1: at once. We'll get tax cuts later or sorry, we'll
- 32:50Speaker 1: get rate cuts later this year. Once Powell is gone.
- 32:53Speaker 1: The tax cuts are coming into play. This is remember,
- 32:56Speaker 1: no tax on tips, no tax on overtime. The bonus
- 33:00Speaker 1: to appreciation that business is right off, capital expenditures is
- 33:03Speaker 1: in place already. This is going to be a lot
- 33:06Speaker 1: of tailwinds to the economy going in as we begin
- 33:09Speaker 1: twenty twenty six, I think we're set up for a
- 33:12Speaker 1: pretty strong year. Wall Street thinks we're.
- 33:14Speaker 14: Going to grow two point one percent.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think we're growing north of three percent. So, you know,
- 33:20Speaker 1: the people who are trying to end inflation keeps coming down,
- 33:23Speaker 1: So I am not. I'm not on the side that's
- 33:26Speaker 1: very worried about the economy. I think we could use
- 33:29Speaker 1: a couple more interest rate cuts. The Fed could derail
- 33:32Speaker 1: things if they didn't cut, but I'm confident they will
- 33:35Speaker 1: later this year.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Well, great stuff. Everybody should sign up for the bright
- 33:39Speaker 3: Bart Business Digest. Go to bright Bart Business Dies, sign
- 33:42Speaker 3: up for the daily newsletter. It's great stuff. And John
- 33:45Speaker 3: Corney also see them all over television. He is great,
- 33:48Speaker 3: John Carney, thanks for being with us.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks for having me Mark, I take care.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Hey, don't forget Coming up at noon today, Buck Sexton,
- 33:57Speaker 3: Klay Travis, excellent show. Meet Fala at nine o'clock tonight.
- 34:02Speaker 3: You'll love that show, very funny. Oh and of course
- 34:04Speaker 3: Sean Hannity at three o'clock, the most listen to radio
- 34:08Speaker 3: show on Earth. Hey, when we come back after the
- 34:11Speaker 3: news at eleven, Bill O'Reilly will be here.
- 34:13Speaker 4: You know.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Announsty's taking a little leave for medical reasons, but apparently
- 34:17Speaker 3: he's gotten through it. He'll be with us right after
- 34:19Speaker 3: the eleven o'clock news. We'll ask him about that. Coming
- 34:22Speaker 3: up on seven to ten WR.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Here's more Marks alone on seven to ten wor.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Well. Things are getting back to normal very slowly here.
- 34:35Speaker 3: These streets are a little better today. There's a little
- 34:38Speaker 3: more traffic if you're coming into the city. The trains
- 34:41Speaker 3: are still on a limited schedule, and in this delays
- 34:46Speaker 3: of all kinds of at the airport, trains, buses, all
- 34:49Speaker 3: of that stuff. The problem is usually after a big snowstorm,
- 34:53Speaker 3: in almost every case, it then warms up and melts
- 34:56Speaker 3: the snow. It gets over freezing over thirty two. But
- 35:00Speaker 3: this is one of the rare instances where you have
- 35:02Speaker 3: the snowstorm and then it stays in the twenties for
- 35:05Speaker 3: the rest of the week. So there's no way to
- 35:07Speaker 3: melt this snow, and it looks like it's going to
- 35:11Speaker 3: stay that way through the weekend. And the only problem
- 35:13Speaker 3: on the horizon is it looks like there's another snowstorm Sunday.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Now it's way too early to say how bad it'll be.
- 35:21Speaker 3: It could be two inches, it could be ten inch.
- 35:22Speaker 3: We don't know, but there's something that's possible on Sunday.
- 35:26Speaker 3: But we'll see again. Way too early, way too early
- 35:29Speaker 3: to know. Hey, Bill O'Reilly announced he was taking a
- 35:32Speaker 3: leave of absence medical reasons from his broadcasting and all
- 35:36Speaker 3: of that. But he's back and he'll talk to us
- 35:39Speaker 3: right after the news at eleven o'clock. Right after the news,
- 35:41Speaker 3: we'll get to Bill O'Reilly and get an update, so
- 35:44Speaker 3: don't go away back right after the news. Mark Simone
- 35:47Speaker 3: here on seven to ten wr Mark Simon Show on
- 35:53Speaker 3: seven to ten wor Well, we'll talk to Bill O'Reilly
- 35:59Speaker 3: in a couple of minutes. He's back. He had a
- 36:02Speaker 3: little medical lead. He'll explain all of that New York
- 36:06Speaker 3: City back in school today. Schools are open today in
- 36:08Speaker 3: New York. You know, they tried that remote learning yesterday
- 36:12Speaker 3: and probably would have done it again today. But the
- 36:14Speaker 3: remote learning didn't work yesterday. Apparently a lot of kids
- 36:19Speaker 3: couldn't get online. It was you remember during the pandemic,
- 36:22Speaker 3: everybody was remote every day. School was remote every day.
- 36:26Speaker 3: But when you did it every day, you had it
- 36:28Speaker 3: all worked out, You had it figured out on your end,
- 36:32Speaker 3: on their end, you had all the bandwidth they needed.
- 36:35Speaker 3: But when all of a sudden, you haven't done it
- 36:37Speaker 3: in a year and you try to do it, it
- 36:39Speaker 3: doesn't quite work. But the snow is getting picked up, mom, Donnie,
- 36:45Speaker 3: you got to admit he got through his first crisis
- 36:47Speaker 3: now again. He had the whole emergency management team left
- 36:51Speaker 3: over from Eric Adams. But looks like everything went smoothly.
- 36:55Speaker 15: Over five thousand sanitation workers traversed our six thousand miles
- 36:59Speaker 15: of roadway, multiple times, using twenty five hundred pieces of
- 37:03Speaker 15: equipment to plow snow poor Brian and dispense tens of
- 37:07Speaker 15: millions of pounds of salt.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Now, you gotta admit for being a crazy left wing
- 37:12Speaker 3: communist wacka. He's very good at this stuff, at these
- 37:16Speaker 3: in front of the podium, in front of the microphones,
- 37:19Speaker 3: holding a briefing. He's good at this, and hopefully, you know,
- 37:22Speaker 3: this crazy stuff he wants to do. Hopefully this part
- 37:25Speaker 3: of the job. The press conferences, they're doing TV show,
- 37:28Speaker 3: and hopefully this will keep them busy and distract.
- 37:31Speaker 15: Our goal is for all services to be fully restored
- 37:33Speaker 15: by tomorrow, with all streets cleared, students back at school
- 37:36Speaker 15: in person, and our city back to normal, albeit with
- 37:39Speaker 15: a lot of snow piled up.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Yeah. Now that's the other thing. It's as we said,
- 37:43Speaker 3: it's normally it warms up, it melts the snow. So
- 37:47Speaker 3: first time we've had a snowstorm like this, and then
- 37:50Speaker 3: it's freezing and we can't get rid of it, and
- 37:53Speaker 3: it looks like this could go for a week. Do
- 37:54Speaker 3: we have bill O'Reilly as y'all said? Oh, okay, all
- 37:59Speaker 3: right again, and a second, hey Mom, Donnie again.
- 38:01Speaker 15: Prepared for this storm together, and we rode the storm
- 38:04Speaker 15: out together. Now, while the worst is behind us, there
- 38:07Speaker 15: is still more to be done as we clear the
- 38:10Speaker 15: snow and restore our city.
- 38:12Speaker 3: All Right, you gotta have many sounds good. He's having fun.
- 38:14Speaker 3: He was on the Tonight Show last night with Jimmy Fallon.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Can you imagine that he came out and did a
- 38:20Speaker 3: little something with Fallin, smiling, laughing, having a good time.
- 38:23Speaker 3: But again, when you get a crazy socialist who wants
- 38:26Speaker 3: to do all kinds of crazy things to New York,
- 38:28Speaker 3: this is good. Every TV show keep inviting him on
- 38:32Speaker 3: public things to do, press conferences, ceremony. It's good. Keep
- 38:37Speaker 3: them busy, keep them busy with this kind of stuff. Anyway,
- 38:40Speaker 3: we got Bill O'Reilly, of course, the number one TV
- 38:42Speaker 3: anchor for decades, the number one best selling author on earth.
- 38:46Speaker 3: He took a little leave for medical reasons. He's back
- 38:49Speaker 3: and the TV show is back. Everything's back. The message
- 38:52Speaker 3: of the day go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You
- 38:54Speaker 3: can get everything there Bill O'Reilly dot com. Make sure
- 38:57Speaker 3: you watch this YouTube channel too. Great stuff there, Bill O'Reilly.
- 39:01Speaker 10: How you doing, you know, hanging tough. I had to
- 39:07Speaker 10: back away last week. Four days in the hospital. That's
- 39:10Speaker 10: a delightful experience. Have you ever done that?
- 39:13Speaker 3: No? No, what was it like?
- 39:15Speaker 10: Great care and I learned a lot from the hospital personnel.
- 39:20Speaker 10: But man, you don't want to be in a hospital.
- 39:23Speaker 10: But you know, when you get old like me and you,
- 39:26Speaker 10: stuff is going to happen. But I'm back and we
- 39:29Speaker 10: came out of the gate pretty hard last night on
- 39:32Speaker 10: this Minnesota stuff.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Well, when you made that announcement about maths and medical stuff,
- 39:36Speaker 3: I sounded like you're going to be out for a
- 39:38Speaker 3: few weeks. But you came back pretty fast.
- 39:40Speaker 10: No, I didn't. But if you read what I actually wrote,
- 39:43Speaker 10: I had to do that. I didn't want to apply
- 39:47Speaker 10: any kind of length of time, but I didn't know
- 39:50Speaker 10: when I was going to be able to be back.
- 39:54Speaker 10: So because I'm the product on bill O'Reilly dot com,
- 39:58Speaker 10: I don't have a substitute anchor or you know, or
- 40:00Speaker 10: anything like that, I have to tell people. You can't
- 40:03Speaker 10: just disappear. It'd be like you saying, well, I'm not
- 40:08Speaker 10: going to be there for two weeks, and nobody knows
- 40:10Speaker 10: why you can't do that. So that's why I even
- 40:13Speaker 10: mentioned it. I wouldn't mention that I'm looking for any
- 40:15Speaker 10: attention on this area or sympathy or anything like that.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Now, what is a guy like you do in a
- 40:20Speaker 3: hospital for four days? Were you watching stuff on TV
- 40:22Speaker 3: you'd never watched normally or.
- 40:24Speaker 10: I never turned the TV on? Really, I just can't
- 40:28Speaker 10: watch that anymore. But that's an excellent question you're asking.
- 40:32Speaker 10: So when you're there, you're totally dependent on other people.
- 40:37Speaker 10: You have no freedom at all, and every three minutes
- 40:40Speaker 10: they're taking your vitals, so that means you're losing more blood,
- 40:45Speaker 10: and then they're giving you jell o to eat, and
- 40:47Speaker 10: you know this is not what you want to do.
- 40:52Speaker 10: So what I did was use the time to think
- 40:56Speaker 10: about my longevity or lack thereof, and then lay out
- 41:03Speaker 10: a game plan that would be healthier. So I got
- 41:06Speaker 10: to cut back some stuff. I'm, as I said, an
- 41:11Speaker 10: old guy, I'm doing more work than most thirty five
- 41:14Speaker 10: year olds every day. That's got to kind of slow
- 41:17Speaker 10: down a little bit. But then I wanted to you know,
- 41:20Speaker 10: I'm writing my last book. I think it'll be the
- 41:22Speaker 10: last one. Says it's called Confronting America. What has to change,
- 41:29Speaker 10: and so I got a lot of you know, he
- 41:31Speaker 10: just lay in there, a lot of stuff that I
- 41:34Speaker 10: wrote down and going to use in that book.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Wow, that'll last. That's not your last book. There'll be
- 41:39Speaker 3: other books after that.
- 41:41Speaker 10: You know. I don't know that I have twenty number
- 41:44Speaker 10: one New York Times bestsellers. Confronting Evil is the latest,
- 41:48Speaker 10: of course, and I might, but it's a lot of
- 41:54Speaker 10: hard work. And I'm out whining, my god, and you know,
- 41:57Speaker 10: the most successful nonfiction author in the world. But these
- 42:00Speaker 10: are these what's are hard. So I'm going, is it
- 42:05Speaker 10: better to go to and gilla for two weeks or
- 42:08Speaker 10: write the book? You know, that's the kind of decisions
- 42:12Speaker 10: you have to make going forward.
- 42:13Speaker 3: All right, Well, hey, I'm watching last Night the Late
- 42:16Speaker 3: night host Jimmy Kimmel starts crying on the air during
- 42:19Speaker 3: the monologue.
- 42:21Speaker 10: Colbert, Well, wait a minute. I cry during Kimmel's monologue
- 42:25Speaker 10: every night.
- 42:27Speaker 3: But what happened to late night entertainment?
- 42:30Speaker 10: I mean, you know, it's uh, it's almost inexplicable. So
- 42:37Speaker 10: people don't know that we Simone and I and all
- 42:42Speaker 10: others in competitive media, we live or die on how
- 42:46Speaker 10: many people watch or listen to us. That's the scorecard,
- 42:52Speaker 10: that's what the companies use to pay you. That's why
- 42:57Speaker 10: you don't have a job, or you don't have a job.
- 43:00Speaker 10: So a guy like Kimmel, who I know is a
- 43:04Speaker 10: funny guy, and I've been on his program and it
- 43:08Speaker 10: all went well, but he allowed his hatred for Donald
- 43:11Speaker 10: Trump to totally consume him and it's not funny at
- 43:16Speaker 10: all in any way. And I've suggested to Jim through
- 43:22Speaker 10: close friends, mutual friends, that maybe he wants to take
- 43:26Speaker 10: a step back, but he doesn't his decision. But late
- 43:32Speaker 10: night TV is over in the United States, all of
- 43:36Speaker 10: them done.
- 43:38Speaker 3: He he he used to work at CBS. Now this
- 43:40Speaker 3: Barry Weiss is trying to make changes and everybody's fighting her.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Sixty minutes went into reruns. They don't want to do
- 43:45Speaker 3: a new show with her. How is this all going
- 43:47Speaker 3: to work out in the end.
- 43:50Speaker 10: It's a tough slog. When I worked at CBS, Dan
- 43:54Speaker 10: Rather was the guy, and Rather was a leftist still
- 43:59Speaker 10: is today, is in his nineties, and that was very
- 44:04Speaker 10: well known. Everybody who worked at CBS National News knew
- 44:09Speaker 10: that Dan Rather was a very liberal man. And if
- 44:13Speaker 10: you didn't subscribe to his view, you were not going
- 44:17Speaker 10: to prosper in that company. So CBS News back then
- 44:23Speaker 10: in the eighties when I was there was almost one
- 44:26Speaker 10: hundred percent liberal and that's who they hired, and people
- 44:30Speaker 10: who were not liberals could not survive in the environment.
- 44:34Speaker 10: That lasted thirty thirty five years. And now Weiss is
- 44:38Speaker 10: trying to change that culture very very difficult because you've
- 44:45Speaker 10: got to wipe out a lot of people who are
- 44:46Speaker 10: ivy logs. She's got to change formats. The audience that
- 44:51Speaker 10: watches CBS, as paltry as it is, is expecting a
- 44:55Speaker 10: liberal presentation. Then all of a sudden, it's not a
- 44:58Speaker 10: liberal one of those people are going to lead. They're
- 45:01Speaker 10: not gonna watch it anymore. Now the question becomes, can
- 45:04Speaker 10: she recruit people who just want the facts, because I
- 45:08Speaker 10: assume that's where she's going, And does she have the
- 45:12Speaker 10: personnel to carry it off. I have not seen the
- 45:15Speaker 10: personnel CBS with abilities to do that. They're gonna have
- 45:21Speaker 10: to bring in some very new people.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, Bill, all right, let's get to Minnesota. The
- 45:28Speaker 3: president trying to do damage control. Will he be successful
- 45:31Speaker 3: at that?
- 45:34Speaker 10: I think he will. It's a lose for everybody now,
- 45:39Speaker 10: nobody's winning in Minnesota now with two dead Americans, and
- 45:45Speaker 10: the media is obviously stacked up on the side of
- 45:49Speaker 10: the sanctuary policies in that state. They want to use
- 45:54Speaker 10: it as a wrecking ball against Trump. Trump knows that
- 45:59Speaker 10: the federal government is not really handle it as well
- 46:04Speaker 10: as it should have. So you don't run out there
- 46:07Speaker 10: and call a guy a terrorists lying bleeding in the snow. Now,
- 46:11Speaker 10: if he is a terrorist and there's evidence to back it,
- 46:13Speaker 10: then you do that. So right now, everybody's losing, everybody
- 46:19Speaker 10: in Minnesota, and therefore I expect these people, including President Trump,
- 46:25Speaker 10: to realign and de intensify. I think we're going to
- 46:31Speaker 10: see that happen.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, tell me about this guy, Neville Roy Singham.
- 46:38Speaker 10: Unbelievable story that is being totally ignored by the American
- 46:42Speaker 10: corporate media. This is the guy who's pumping money into Minnesota,
- 46:46Speaker 10: who's hiring a hardcore ezealous to go to that town
- 46:51Speaker 10: to commit violence. All right. He was born in Connecticut
- 46:54Speaker 10: seventy one years old, made billions in tech, lives in Shanghai, China,
- 46:59Speaker 10: very close to the Chinese Communist government. He sends the
- 47:02Speaker 10: money into the United States through legal meets five oh
- 47:07Speaker 10: ones and then the money is distributed into radical organizations
- 47:14Speaker 10: like Black Lives Matter, Democratic Socialists of America, and they
- 47:19Speaker 10: hire people to go to various places to confront the
- 47:24Speaker 10: federal government with the object of creating as much chaos
- 47:29Speaker 10: and violence as they can. These are all people who
- 47:32Speaker 10: want to overthrow the American capitalistic system. So this guy
- 47:37Speaker 10: does all this from Shanghai and we can trace it.
- 47:40Speaker 10: I'm going to win another follow up on the guy
- 47:43Speaker 10: tonight on the No Spin News. It is an outrageous situation.
- 47:48Speaker 10: Neville Roy Sringham is his name, and all you got
- 47:53Speaker 10: to do is go to my website Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 47:55Speaker 10: We got an all air for you. Now. The FBI
- 47:58Speaker 10: has been investigating this guy, but has not defined what
- 48:04Speaker 10: they found out, and that drives me nuts. So I'm
- 48:08Speaker 10: going to do another follow up segment tonight with the
- 48:11Speaker 10: information that we are gathering, and we're gathering it fast.
- 48:14Speaker 10: The FBI got in touch with me this morning and
- 48:17Speaker 10: they know they know this is serious. It'll break out,
- 48:21Speaker 10: but the fact that it's being suppressed by the corporate
- 48:23Speaker 10: media ignored. This is an enormous story.
- 48:28Speaker 3: So I understand why the communist Chinese Party wants to
- 48:31Speaker 3: screw up America. But what's in it for Nevill Royce Singham.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Why is he doing it?
- 48:35Speaker 10: Well, he's a communist and he's married to a woman
- 48:38Speaker 10: who started Cold Pink. They live luxuriously in Shanghai. He's
- 48:43Speaker 10: a billionaire and he wants to destroy the United States.
- 48:46Speaker 10: That's what he wants to do. And he works in
- 48:49Speaker 10: partnership with Beijing.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Wow. So, yeah, this is a lot worse than George
- 48:56Speaker 3: Soros or Alex Soros.
- 48:58Speaker 10: This is a lot worse. And the reason is because
- 49:02Speaker 10: the Beijing Communist government is in bed with this guy.
- 49:09Speaker 10: This is an operation Sols is a loon and he
- 49:14Speaker 10: sends money to crazy people to do crazy things. But
- 49:18Speaker 10: he's not working on behalf of a foreign government hostile
- 49:22Speaker 10: to the United States.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Wow. So the guy's name is Neville roy Singham. Go
- 49:27Speaker 3: to Billorally dot com. You'll get more information on him.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Now he's in Shanghai. He's not in the United States,
- 49:34Speaker 3: so there's no way the government can touch right.
- 49:36Speaker 10: I think it became the United States that arrest him.
- 49:39Speaker 3: Yeah. So, but in Shanghai, there's no way they can
- 49:41Speaker 3: touch the guy.
- 49:42Speaker 10: So no, can't touch him. That's why he lives there
- 49:46Speaker 10: and he's protected and he's a billionaire because you know communists,
- 49:51Speaker 10: if you're at the upper level and you're helping the government,
- 49:53Speaker 10: you could be a billionaire. I mean he lives lavishly there.
- 49:56Speaker 10: As you know. I was in China last May and
- 50:00Speaker 10: is really the place where the money is in China.
- 50:06Speaker 10: But it's like Putin's the richest man in the world. Wow,
- 50:09Speaker 10: Birthy's man in the world.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Well, you want to get more on this billo'reilly dot com.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Bill O'Reilly is back. You can watch the TV show
- 50:16Speaker 3: Bill oreilly dot com. Make sure you check out his
- 50:18Speaker 3: YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly dot com. You can get the columns,
- 50:22Speaker 3: the message of the day, and get his book. The
- 50:25Speaker 3: latest book is Confronting Evil. Excellent book. Bill O'Reilly. We're
- 50:29Speaker 3: glad you're back and thanks for.
- 50:31Speaker 10: Being with us Banks adding me Mark really appreciate it.
- 50:34Speaker 3: All right, take care boy. That's fascinating story that guy,
- 50:39Speaker 3: and you probably heard it here first, but that's going
- 50:41Speaker 3: to be a huge, huge story this guy in the
- 50:44Speaker 3: coming months. So hey, we'll take some calls next. Eight
- 50:47Speaker 3: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven to ten.
- 50:56Speaker 2: In Mark on Demand by setting up pre sad for
- 50:59Speaker 2: his pod cast on the iHeartRadio Last.
- 51:02Speaker 5: Now back to Mark Simone on woor.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 51:09Speaker 3: one zero seven ten. Is the number eight hundred three
- 51:12Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Paul in
- 51:16Speaker 3: Rhode Island.
- 51:16Speaker 8: Paul, how you doing, Hey, I'm doing great?
- 51:19Speaker 9: Mark?
- 51:20Speaker 8: Thanks? Now, Well, what the left would have us believe
- 51:23Speaker 8: that mister pretty was just exercising his freedom of speech
- 51:28Speaker 8: when he got shot. But there's a huge difference between
- 51:31Speaker 8: behavior and speech. And I just want to give you
- 51:33Speaker 8: a quick analogy. Think about a group of people protesting
- 51:37Speaker 8: across the street from a Broadway show. They're exercising their
- 51:41Speaker 8: street speech. Then you get the guy who walks across
- 51:44Speaker 8: the street, goes inside during the show and then stands
- 51:48Speaker 8: up at his seat and interrupts the production. Then you
- 51:51Speaker 8: get the guy who gets up on stage and then
- 51:54Speaker 8: physically interferes with actors. And then you get the guy
- 51:58Speaker 8: who gets up on stage when the actor on stage
- 52:00Speaker 8: are having a sword fight with real, real swords, and
- 52:04Speaker 8: this guy gets injured or he gets killed.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's a good point. We understand the point.
- 52:09Speaker 3: And you're right. And if you're gonna go really tangle
- 52:12Speaker 3: with the cops, don't bring a loaded gun with you.
- 52:13Speaker 3: It's not gonna go well, right, And who's right?
- 52:16Speaker 9: Who caused it?
- 52:17Speaker 8: And who really was the approximate cause of this event?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Well? Hey, where are you in Rhode Island?
- 52:24Speaker 7: Uh?
- 52:24Speaker 8: Newport area?
- 52:25Speaker 15: Oh?
- 52:25Speaker 3: Okay, you got a lot of snow.
- 52:26Speaker 8: There, yeah, about thirteen inches. Well, they cleared the roads.
- 52:30Speaker 8: We're looking good.
- 52:31Speaker 3: All right, good, thanks for colling. Let's go to uh
- 52:34Speaker 3: Linda in Long Island. Linda, how you doing?
- 52:37Speaker 9: Hi?
- 52:38Speaker 16: Mark, Yes, Linda, I love you too. But I love
- 52:42Speaker 16: President Trump. But there's a little mistake according to the
- 52:48Speaker 16: top economist Steve Moore, who says the rate should not
- 52:54Speaker 16: be reduced now. It's a bad time. It should stay
- 52:58Speaker 16: the same because we're all losing, uh, the value of
- 53:04Speaker 16: the dollar now and a lot of people, millions are
- 53:07Speaker 16: losing money, so they don't want it. It's not good.
- 53:10Speaker 1: But President Trump, well, you know, it's economists.
- 53:14Speaker 3: It's economists. There's a difference of opinion, you know, Steve
- 53:16Speaker 3: Forbes might say one thing, Larry Cudler might say another. Uh.
- 53:20Speaker 16: Steve Moore he's top.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Well, it's actually it's actually about a six way tie
- 53:24Speaker 3: for the top there. Steve Moore is on the top.
- 53:26Speaker 16: But okay, okay, but he is sour.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Laughter would be and Larry Cudler another economists.
- 53:32Speaker 16: Right, uh huh, but it's not it's not the right time.
- 53:38Speaker 3: We'll reduce, right, We'll see what happens tomorrow. Where are
- 53:40Speaker 3: you in Long Island?
- 53:43Speaker 16: Flora, Pa?
- 53:44Speaker 3: And snow? The streets are yes?
- 53:46Speaker 16: And yes, yes we have snow.
- 53:49Speaker 3: But the streets are they clear? Have you been?
- 53:52Speaker 16: Are they clear?
- 53:53Speaker 10: No?
- 53:54Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 53:55Speaker 16: I really don't like Actually I don't like nineteen degrees.
- 53:59Speaker 16: It's not really you know my favorite thing.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Stop being a baby. It's good for you. It's good
- 54:07Speaker 3: for you. It's good. Yeah, it's really that's kind of
- 54:10Speaker 3: hard to walk. I like to walk a lot outside.
- 54:13Speaker 3: It was tough yesterday. It's going to be even colder today.
- 54:16Speaker 3: It is tough. I know. Let's go to Rob in
- 54:18Speaker 3: Long Island.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Rob.
- 54:19Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 54:21Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, mister Simon, first time calling. With everything
- 54:25Speaker 2: happening in Minneapolis right now. I think they said there's
- 54:27Speaker 2: a thousand jurisdictions that ICE is involved with, but Minneapolis
- 54:31Speaker 2: seems to be the bull's eye of all the violence.
- 54:34Speaker 2: My question is, if we think back to the book
- 54:37Speaker 2: that came out about Camilla vetting Waltz, one of the
- 54:40Speaker 2: concerns they had was his relationship with the Chinese Communist
- 54:44Speaker 2: Party the CCP, his trips there twenty three times as
- 54:48Speaker 2: a school teacher, and they were very concerned. I wonder
- 54:51Speaker 2: if he's being paid or if he's instigating.
- 54:55Speaker 3: That's a good point. We've been talking about this Chinese
- 54:57Speaker 3: Communist represent of Neville Roy Singman. He's the guy funding
- 55:02Speaker 3: all this. You're right, maybe he's closely connected with Tim Watts.
- 55:06Speaker 3: This is the most important data. ICE is doing the
- 55:11Speaker 3: same exact thing they're doing in Minnesota in many many
- 55:13Speaker 3: other cities and states, and in other cities and states,
- 55:16Speaker 3: they're doing it on a much bigger scale, many more
- 55:20Speaker 3: ICE agents, many more arrests, and it's totally peaceful and calm.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Why because in all those other cases, all the local officials,
- 55:29Speaker 3: police government all cooperating with ICE to make sure it's
- 55:33Speaker 3: done in a peaceful, orderly way. They're all coordinating with ICE.
- 55:36Speaker 3: That's all you gotta do, and everything changes. Let's go
- 55:39Speaker 3: to Bob in Montfield, New Jersey, Bob, how you doing good?
- 55:44Speaker 5: Mark, Thanks for taking my call. Just regarding that rock
- 55:47Speaker 5: thrower in New Jersey. You know, he's not new to
- 55:49Speaker 5: the neighborhood. He's been here for like nine years and
- 55:52Speaker 5: has a rap sheet. So it's kind of interesting how
- 55:55Speaker 5: Mickey Sheryl got by, you know, without indicating that New
- 55:59Speaker 5: Jersey is still a sanctuary state, and we just wonder,
- 56:04Speaker 5: what is this guy going to get deported? Because you
- 56:06Speaker 5: don't see anything in any New Jersey news sources. The
- 56:10Speaker 5: school bus was a Jewish bus. So it's interesting what's
- 56:14Speaker 5: going on here in New Jersey.
- 56:15Speaker 3: That's the problem. You know, you got so many of
- 56:18Speaker 3: these cities, New York and Chicago and other places where
- 56:20Speaker 3: when a criminal is arrested, they just let him ride out,
- 56:23Speaker 3: no jail, no bail, dropped the charges he could come
- 56:26Speaker 3: in with twenty three priors on his record, they let
- 56:28Speaker 3: him rite out. They're saying, in when ice picks up
- 56:32Speaker 3: somebody and arrests him to the illegal, he doesn't know,
- 56:35Speaker 3: you know, it just looks like police to him, and
- 56:37Speaker 3: when he's taken to jail, he assumes he'll be let
- 56:40Speaker 3: out in half an hour like he is normally by
- 56:42Speaker 3: these cities, and they're saying that a lot of them
- 56:44Speaker 3: are stunned, shocked. They can't believe they're actually being held.
- 56:48Speaker 3: They've been arrested many times before, but always released in
- 56:50Speaker 3: ten minutes, and they're stunned when they're not. Let's go
- 56:53Speaker 3: to Bill in Lafayette, New Jersey. Bill, how you doing.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I'm doing good. Mark just want to say that most
- 57:01Speaker 1: people here in New Jersey support Trump, support Ice, excluding
- 57:05Speaker 1: the inner city people. The inner city people have the numbers,
- 57:08Speaker 1: so we're struck with a bunch of idiotic politicians. All
- 57:12Speaker 1: this chaos, all these problems with Minnesota can be summed up,
- 57:18Speaker 1: and as an earlier caller said, the proximate cause of
- 57:22Speaker 1: all of this can be summed up in two words.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Thanks Biden.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Well that's the that's the other good point. Why
- 57:29Speaker 3: is ICE doing this well? Because Biden and Harris let
- 57:31Speaker 3: in a twenty million illegals. If they hadn't opened the borders,
- 57:35Speaker 3: totally opened him for four years, you wouldn't have all
- 57:37Speaker 3: of this going on. It's not the first time the
- 57:39Speaker 3: President Obama had ICE all over the streets of America,
- 57:43Speaker 3: rounding up and deporting illegals, starting with the criminal illegals.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Biden was not as big on it, but Obama for
- 57:50Speaker 3: eight years did it. He deported millions. And who's the
- 57:53Speaker 3: guy he put in charge when Obama did it was
- 57:57Speaker 3: a guy named Tom Holman. In fact, as I was leaving,
- 58:00Speaker 3: he was Obama as he was leaving, was so grateful
- 58:03Speaker 3: to Homan. He gave him a presidential medal. You can
- 58:06Speaker 3: see the picture online of him putting the metal around
- 58:10Speaker 3: Tom Holman's neck. They were so through it. And why
- 58:12Speaker 3: were there no protests when Ice was doing it?
- 58:14Speaker 9: Then?
- 58:14Speaker 3: Well because it was a Democrat. Anyway, we'll take a
- 58:18Speaker 3: break through. This's got a lot more to talk about.
- 58:20Speaker 3: We'll get to that coming up on seven to ten.
- 58:23Speaker 12: Wor the Mark Simone Show on seven tenor Well mayor
- 58:30Speaker 12: Mom Donnie holding a big press conference today.
- 58:33Speaker 3: I mean's not that interesting. But as I said before,
- 58:35Speaker 3: you know, here's a guy wants to do all kinds
- 58:37Speaker 3: of crazy socialist, weirdo things. But he seems to be
- 58:41Speaker 3: enjoying going on the Tonight Show and being on TV
- 58:44Speaker 3: and doing these press conferences and doing these little videos
- 58:48Speaker 3: out in this So that's good. That's good as long
- 58:50Speaker 3: as he's in front of a microphone. He's keeping busy,
- 58:54Speaker 3: enjoying himself. It keeps him away from the other stuff.
- 58:57Speaker 3: The less he gets done, the better. So hey, President Trump,
- 59:02Speaker 3: you know, has been talking with Mom Donnie after their meeting.
- 59:06Speaker 3: They text every so often. Mom Donnie texts him. They
- 59:09Speaker 3: keep in touch. But Trump has been warning him about
- 59:12Speaker 3: a really serious situation. The New York Stock Exchange is
- 59:17Speaker 3: an important, crucial part of the New York economy. It's
- 59:21Speaker 3: one of the major major major businesses. Wall Street is
- 59:24Speaker 3: probably New York City's biggest business. So the New York
- 59:27Speaker 3: Stock Exchange has opened a second stock exchange in Dallas. Now,
- 59:32Speaker 3: this is not good. They've opened what they call the
- 59:35Speaker 3: International or the Intercontinental Exchange. It's owned by the unwy
- 59:40Speaker 3: SE New York Stock Exchange. It's in Dallas. You can
- 59:43Speaker 3: list there if you want. Now, the danger is you
- 59:46Speaker 3: never want the New York Stock Exchange to move out
- 59:49Speaker 3: of New York. That would be catastrophic for our economy.
- 59:53Speaker 3: But they've opened this exchange. Took a lot of effort
- 59:56Speaker 3: and a lot of money to open this. Ten companies,
- 59:59Speaker 3: including how Burton, have already listed there. Even the Trump's
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: media company truth Socially Trump Media Technology Group as a
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: dual list. They're on the Dallas Exchange and the New
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: York Exchange. You can do a dual list. But the
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: worry is if the stock exchange ever wanted to leave.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: They've established a whole second stock exchange in Dallas. They're
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: just ready to go in a second. So that's something
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: to keep an eye on. Hey, Israel got the last
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: remaining hostage back. It was the remains of a hostage.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: They recovered it. So that is it. They've recovered every
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: hostage or hostage remains one hundred percent. That'll change the
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: dynamics of all of this over there. Now. Hey, you know,
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: speaking of Trump, everybody's talking about the midterms, and a
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: bunch of publications last week put out all these poles
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: that were totally rigged, totally fake polls showing a Trump
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: terrible situation in the polls way down everywhere. Well, they
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: if you looked in the metrics of every pole, they
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: had Republicans down to like twenty three percent instead of
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: the thirty five percent they should have been. They didn't
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: use the proper metrics, they didn't use likely voters, they
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: didn't use the right temographics. They were all rigged. So
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: forget those polls. But there's a real poll that shows
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: I mean, Trump's fine in the real pols, but there's
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: a real poll that shows him surging with Hispanic voters.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: He's picking up Hispanic voters like crazy, And why would
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: that be, Well, they tend to be conservative as a rule,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: but also Hispanic voters, many of them are immigrants, and
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: they like the immigration process and they hate illegals who
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: screw up the whole immigration process. The Hispanics that have
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: come here legally immigrated here can't stand watching these illegals
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: just break into the country. Now. Another reason is many
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: of the Hispanics that came here came here for one reason,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: to get away from socialism and communism. That's where they
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: left Cuba or other countries. And they don't like the
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: idea of these democrats bringing socialisms. After they went to
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: all this trouble to get away from socialism, they don't
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: want democrats to bringing it to them here. So that's another.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Apparently the Maduro raid impressed a lot of Hispanic voters
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: because they hate those kind of brutal dictators. That's what
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: they fled, so they love seeing that. So who knows
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: what the midterms it's too soon to tell. Traditionally, even
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: a popular president loses the Congress in a midterm, but
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: there's been a couple of exceptions. This could be another
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: one of them. Hey, you know, gas prices are way down.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: It's two fifty a gallon some places. Two twenty five.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Gas prices are down to average about two fifty all
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: over America. Now you're saying, wait a minute, it's still
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: four dollars here in New York. It's still four to
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: fifty in California. That's all artificial. As the gas prices dropped,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: New York and California would raise the local taxes to
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: keep the price where it was. I know, it's absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: It's horrible. Now President Trump has talked about doing something
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: about California gas is two fifty a gallon, but they
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: put so much local tax on it they drove it
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: up to four to fifty. So President Trump says he'll
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: do something to fix that, something to get it down
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: to two fifty in California where it should be. Now,
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I don't know what he can do. Legally, they're exploring
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: all kinds of options. You can't really interfere with the
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: California state and local taxes, but he has said he'll
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: try to do something about it, so we'll see. Hey,
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: the super Bowl two weeks President Trump has confirmed now
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: he's not going to the super Bowl. The halftime show's ridiculous,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: bad Bunny and the green Day, big big, big, big
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Trump haters. The last thing he needs to do is
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: be in the stands when and who knows in the
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: middle of Super Bowl, these guys might do something anti
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: You never know, So you know Neil Young, Does anybody
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: remember Neil Young? Nineteen seventies. Neil Young. He's a crazy
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: left wing guy. But that's okay. He's Neil Young. God
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: knows what the hell. He's been inhaling for forty years
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: and doesn't look like the brightest guy to begin with.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: But he's a big Trump hater. So he's just announced
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: he's donating his entire catalog of songs to Greenland. He
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: said Greenland can now download his songs absolutely free. He's
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: donating him. There's only fifty four thousand residents in Greenland.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: The entire population of Greenland couldn't fill Yankee Stadium, so
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: it's not a lot of people, and you know they're
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: in Greenland. Who the do you think, and it's mostly
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: a younger population. You think any of them has any
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: idea who Neil Young is? And a lot of people
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: listening to me, I don't. He was a and his
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: whole catalog, what is his whole catalog? Heart of Gold
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: was his big hit? What was the other one? Something Moon?
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: I can't I can't even remember. He had like two
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: hits and half a hit that was about it. But
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: he was very popular back then. He like, he looked
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: like he robbed a scarecrow to get those clothes. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: was like a disheveled guy, all dusty and musty. But
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: now you got to remember when you talk to your
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: crazy democratic friends and they seem insane. I mentioned this before.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: They were on Blue Sky. They're not on Twitter. You're
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: on Twitter. You see some pretty interesting stuff. But the
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: left wing people, the Libs, all left Twitter and went
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: to their own Twitter. It's called blue Sky. Check it
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: out sometime. You'll be quite stunned. If you go on
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: blue Sky all day long, all you keep reading is
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: that ice is beating up people, throwing people out of
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: their cars, attacking citizens all over Minneapolis. So take a
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: look at it. Sometimes it'll be interesting. Hey, the New
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: York Post is like the greatest newspaper in New York City.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: New York Post always has the best stories, the best coverage,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: the most interesting stuff. The New York Post every day.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: And if everybody lives in Florida, that's the first thing
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: you do is read the New York Post every morning.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Now in California, they're getting their own New York Post.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: It's called the California Post. It's an exact recreation of
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: the New York Post for California. Now, next time you
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: go on the New York Post website, look up at
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: the top. You'll see there's a little tab where you
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: can switch New York or California. So if you want,
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: switch it over to California. And it's called the California Post.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Looks exactly like the New York Post. And it's got
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: this same great lively of you know, great stuff, but
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: all for California. And it looks amazing. So we'll see
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: if it has any effect in California. Hey, Barry Weiss,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: you know it's trying to straighten out CBS News. Is
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: it today? Yeah, it's today. She's having this. They're fighting
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: her like crazy at CBS. She's having this town hall
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: with all the employees, the whole CBS network, all the bureaus,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: all of that. She's going to address them all, lay
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: out her vision. So later today, after it's over, you
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: can hear all kinds of leaks coming out of this
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: CBS News people, crazy left wing cooks. They're going to
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: be leaking and attacking. Expect that to happen all day today.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: She's trying to straighten out sixty minutes. She's trying to
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: straighten out the evening News. Now, they're going to lose
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: a lot of viewers when they do this, when they
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: stop the crazy left wing cook stuff. But that's what happens.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: It's like when a radio station changes format. It's a
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: country and Western station and then they switch to classic rock. Well,
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: you lose your audience, your ratings go way down, and
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: then you bring in a new audience. It happens all
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: the time in the radio business. So you're going to
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: have to do that with CBS News. You're gonna have
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: to shed a lot of audience as you're not so
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: left wing, as you go more moderate. But then you
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: got to try to attract a new audience. Now, of
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: course it's tough here because you got Fox News, she
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: got Newsmax, she got plenty of places for conservative news.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: But there are a lot of people who want something
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: right down the middle. So that's I think what she's
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: trying to do there. Just go right down the middle.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Go to what the old CBS, the Walter Cronkite CBS was.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: It was a little left. It was just it was middle,
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: but a little half an inch to the left. Hey,
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: don't forget coming up at noon, Buck Sexton, Klay Travis,
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: what a great show. And then the most listened to
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: radio show in America, Sean Hannity at three, Jesse Kelly
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: at six. Jimmy Fayler does a great show, very funny,
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: entertaining every night nine to midnight, on seven to ten.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Wor Mark Simone's back on seventeen wor Well, hey, we
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: mentioned the super Bowl. You know there's a big Jets
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: New York Jets connection to the Super Bowl. The New
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: York Jets, of course, the absolute worst team anywhere in sports,
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: an absolute disaster. It's so bad that even if you
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: have been at fortune brought in the best player, you
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: completely ruin the guy. Aaron Rodgers is a good example.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: But you got two big quarterbacks coming to the Super Bowl.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Two big quarterbacks Darnell. Darnell was a New York Jet.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: He was there for three years and again, the New
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: York Jets can ruin any player, so he wasn't any
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: good with the Jets in those three years. And who's
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: the other quarterback, Oh, the Patriots. Of course Drake May.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Now he was a draft pick and the New York Jets,
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: who had a terrible season, would have got to pick
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: him as their draft pick. This incredible, amazing young quarterback,
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: Drake May. But towards the end of the season, somehow
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: the New York Jets actually won a game. They won
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: a game against It was a meaningless game, but they
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: happened to accidentally win this game, and it cost them
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: the draft pick. They got moved down a notch in
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: the draft picks and instead the Patriots got to pick them.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: So you got two Jets connected quarterbacks in the Super
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: Bowl coming up a week from It's a week from
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: this Sunday. Hey, we're out of time, don't forget. I'm
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: here every day ten to noon. Or you could listen
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: to the show anytime you want, day or night, anytime
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: you want. Just get the podcast wherever you get podcasts,
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: and remember on the weekends there's an extra segment. There's
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: a bonus segment just for the podcast listeners, but otherwise
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: ten to noon live here every day, Mark Simone, thanks
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: for listening, Thanks for everything. Talk to you tomorrow. Seven
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: wo
