  Speaker 1: I wonder if you're aware that God wants to use

  Speaker 1: you in the lives of the people you're going to

  Speaker 1: be seeing and talking to today.

  Speaker 1: God has given you a priceless treasure.
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: That he wants you to pass on to those around you.
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: We're looking this week at God's voice in our lives,
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: and today I want to look at a passage in
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: John chapter 4, a very interesting account when Jesus encountered
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: a woman, uh, from Samaria. Samaritans normally don't have anything
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: to do with Jews and vice versa, but Jesus engages
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: this woman in conversation.
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: It says in verse 7 there came a woman of
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: Samaria to draw water from the well.
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: Jesus was resting there.
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: Jesus said to her, Give me a drink, for His
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, How is it
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: that you, being a Jew, ask me for a drink,
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: since I am a Samaritan woman, for Jews have no
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: dealings with Samaritans.
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: Jesus answered and said to her,
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: If you knew the gift of God.
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: And who it is who says to you, Give me
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: a drink.
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: You would have asked him.
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: And he would have given you living water.
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: Living water

  Speaker 1: Later Jesus said to her, Everyone who drinks of this
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: water from this well shall thirst again.
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: But whoever drinks of the water that I give him
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: shall never thirst. But the water that I give him
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: shall become in him a well of water springing up
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: to eternal life.

  Speaker 1: And the woman said to him, Sir, give me this
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: water so that I will not be thirsty.

  Speaker 1: Well

  Speaker 1: God has given you living water.
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: When he reached into your life and offered you his grace.
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: And he wants you to give that living water to others.
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: You know Jesus had such a way of breaking all
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: of society's barriers, didn't he? There was a racism barrier
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: between these two races, the Jews and the Samaritans.
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: But Jesus broke through all that with His loving words
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: to this woman.
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: He didn't let his words be swayed by the cultures.
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: He was real to everyone.
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: And he had just the right word for this specific woman,
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: and he wanted her to know it.
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: Do you know there are people in your life that
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: God wants to reach out to in love.
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: There's no better way to love people than with a
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: gentle word of truth to them about what God has
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: done for them.
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: What Jesus was offering to this woman could change her
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: life forever.
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: And nothing was worth standing in the way of that,
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: and the same is true for you.
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: What do you allow to stand in the way of
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: you sharing with others the living water God has given you?
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: Your loving words could change that person's life forever.
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: Don't launch into a monologue with people where you've got
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: an outline you're trying to get through, but just express
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: to them how much God's love means to you and
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: let them interact with you about that and share with
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: them from your life what God means to you and
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: what He can mean to them and what Jesus has
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: done for them at the cross. Don't let another day
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: go by without expressing love to those who are around you.
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: What Jesus offered to that woman at the well is
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: still being offered today.
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: Let it be known through you.
• 4:23
