- 0:09Speaker 1: Vilallo. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show. I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rab Shooter. It's Monday, It's Memorial Day. To day, Garrett
- 0:21Speaker 1: is off with his family. Briefly, I wanted to just
- 0:25Speaker 1: talk a little bit about Memorial Day. I had to
- 0:27Speaker 1: look this up and MA shame to admit it, but
- 0:30Speaker 1: I wanted to say Happy Memorial Day. But I don't
- 0:32Speaker 1: think that is really the right expression. So Memorial Day
- 0:36Speaker 1: has evolved. It remains a day to honor the nation's
- 0:40Speaker 1: war dead and veterans. However, it also honors everyone who
- 0:46Speaker 1: has served in the US military. So if you have served,
- 0:50Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you for your service. And then,
- 0:54Speaker 1: quickly before we start the show, I gotta tell you
- 0:57Speaker 1: about my weekend. I was invited to see Taylor Swift
- 1:02Speaker 1: at the met Life Stadium. OMG, it was amazing. Seventy
- 1:10Speaker 1: eighty thousand people there, including gel Gado, Hello, Wonder Woman, Hello, Hello, Hello,
- 1:17Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers, the football player he was there, and of
- 1:20Speaker 1: course Taylor Swift. She is phenomenal. First of all, she's
- 1:26Speaker 1: a real musician. She plays the guitar, she plays piano beautifully,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and really my favorite part of the whole show. It's
- 1:32Speaker 1: a big show was just Taylor and a piano acoustic,
- 1:36Speaker 1: just sitting there singing. Oh. It was just so magical.
- 1:40Speaker 1: But then when she does the big production numbers, it's
- 1:43Speaker 1: like a Broadway show with lights and costumes and sets.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Three and a half hours Taylor was on stage. She
- 1:51Speaker 1: did it Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I gotta say, I'm now
- 1:55Speaker 1: a swiftye. I really am. I always liked her, but
- 1:58Speaker 1: I wasn't a fanatic. I liked her, liked her music,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I liked Shake It Off, I liked the hits. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: after seeing somebody live, you either turn into a fan
- 2:07Speaker 1: or you don't. I turned into a fan, and let
- 2:11Speaker 1: me just add two. We got amazing seats, So thank you, Taylor.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The seats were amazing. I'm the luckiest guy in the
- 2:17Speaker 1: world to be invited to this sort of stuff. They
- 2:20Speaker 1: never take it for granted, not for one minute. But
- 2:23Speaker 1: I looked around and what gave me, maybe even more
- 2:26Speaker 1: joy than seeing Taylor, was the joy that she was
- 2:29Speaker 1: giving her audience. There were a lot of young people there,
- 2:33Speaker 1: people who were still sort of trying to figure out
- 2:35Speaker 1: who they are, who they're going to be in life,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and you could tell some of them were struggling with it,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and then Taylor got up on stage and told them
- 2:43Speaker 1: all they were beautiful, they were important, they were smart,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and they believed it. And looking at their faces singing
- 2:51Speaker 1: along to Taylor, these kids who might have been misfits
- 2:55Speaker 1: at school were kings and queens at a Taylor Swift concert.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I just loved it. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 3:04Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends, it's tea time. There's
- 3:07Speaker 1: a new report out saying that Meghan and Harry could
- 3:10Speaker 1: return to the UK. So Grand Harold, who was one
- 3:15Speaker 1: of Prince Charles's butler's for quite a long time about
- 3:18Speaker 1: a decade, is saying the possibility of them returning to
- 3:21Speaker 1: the UK. Returning to Britain is not off the table.
- 3:25Speaker 1: He said, quote, I'd never say never. It's always possible.
- 3:29Speaker 1: But one day he Harry might want to come home.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's possible that he might want to buy a property
- 3:36Speaker 1: here if he ever wanted to come over more and
- 3:39Speaker 1: Meghan didn't want to come with him. Harold adds that
- 3:42Speaker 1: Meghan doesn't really have any family in Britain. All her
- 3:46Speaker 1: family is in the States, but Harry's family is still
- 3:51Speaker 1: in Britain and he's always going to want to keep
- 3:54Speaker 1: his fingers in that pie, so to speak. He said,
- 3:58Speaker 1: Harry's going to want to have an association with Britain
- 4:01Speaker 1: just in case one day he does want to come back. However,
- 4:06Speaker 1: we've got to point out at the moment, they seem
- 4:08Speaker 1: very happy in the States, and that's where they want
- 4:11Speaker 1: to be. So this is a really big question, isn't it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Do you think they could ever return? It's interesting. When
- 4:18Speaker 1: I first came to America, I didn't think about Britain
- 4:21Speaker 1: very much. I loved it here. I'm a New Yorker,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm an American citizen now. But as I've got older,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and my parents have got older, my brothers and sisters
- 4:29Speaker 1: have got older, I've started now to miss Britain. I'm
- 4:33Speaker 1: going back in a couple of weeks to see them.
- 4:35Speaker 1: My mom and dad are now at an age where
- 4:38Speaker 1: you know they're not going to be around forever, and
- 4:41Speaker 1: I want to spend some time with them. I get
- 4:43Speaker 1: a little homesick at now, and again, don't get me wrong,
- 4:46Speaker 1: there's nothing bad here. I love my life in New York.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I have a great life in New York. But I
- 4:52Speaker 1: do have an emotional connection to the place I am
- 4:55Speaker 1: from and when I talk to my family now, I
- 4:58Speaker 1: feel like I would like to be with them more.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Luckily I can afford to fly back, so I'm gonna
- 5:04Speaker 1: go back, and I vowed at least now once a Yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna go back and visit my family. But it's recent.
- 5:09Speaker 1: It's been the last four or five years. I've started
- 5:12Speaker 1: to feel like this. So Harry is still a young man,
- 5:15Speaker 1: so maybe it's not pulling at his heartstrings yet. But
- 5:17Speaker 1: when you get forty fifty, sixty years old, maybe Harry will.
- 5:22Speaker 1: What do you think about this? Because you know on
- 5:24Speaker 1: the naughty but no I should. The only opinion that
- 5:27Speaker 1: matters is yours, which brings us to our whole question
- 5:30Speaker 1: of the day. Harry and Meghan could return to the UK,
- 5:34Speaker 1: say it's an expert. Do you think they will ever return?
- 5:39Speaker 1: Ever's a long time. I could see a day when
- 5:43Speaker 1: he gets a flat there. I don't think she'll ever
- 5:45Speaker 1: like it there, but I think for family stuff, particularly
- 5:48Speaker 1: his dad's in his seventies, his brother's going to be
- 5:51Speaker 1: king one day. He grew up there. He has friends
- 5:55Speaker 1: that he went to school with, university with. Do you
- 5:58Speaker 1: think he will ever reach hey? Go vote on our
- 6:01Speaker 1: Twitter page at Noughty Nice. Rob Our facebook page is
- 6:05Speaker 1: Normaldy Gossip and is sure to jake back tomorrow to
- 6:09Speaker 1: hear your results. This story is amazing. Kelly Clarkson is
- 6:14Speaker 1: recalling telling her crew the staff at her show through
- 6:18Speaker 1: tears that the show was moving to New York. So
- 6:22Speaker 1: Kelly has shifted production from Los Angeles to New York,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and she's finally explaining the reason for the change. While
- 6:30Speaker 1: recalling the moment she told the crew, which is something
- 6:35Speaker 1: she apparently did through tears, she said the following quote.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I talked to my crew back in January, and it
- 6:43Speaker 1: was like through tears, because I have built such an
- 6:46Speaker 1: amazing group of people, I was like, you guys need
- 6:50Speaker 1: to know what's going on. It's either I'm not gonna
- 6:53Speaker 1: be able to continue with the show, or I'm gonna
- 6:56Speaker 1: move it to the East Coast. She went on to
- 6:59Speaker 1: explain that my family is from the East Coast. They're
- 7:01Speaker 1: North Carolina based. She added, there are a lot of
- 7:06Speaker 1: personal things going on too. I feel like our family,
- 7:10Speaker 1: me and my kids really need a fresh start and
- 7:14Speaker 1: I could not get it here in La. So she
- 7:17Speaker 1: did not go into specifics about the fresh start. However,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's likely she's referring to a really ugly divorce from
- 7:25Speaker 1: Brandon Blackstark. Back in March twenty twenty two, during the interview,
- 7:30Speaker 1: the forty one year old mentioned that she's missing her
- 7:33Speaker 1: family and those feelings of homesickness have only increased during lockdown,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and she said it was one hundred percent my idea
- 7:43Speaker 1: and it was really cool that NBC, that's the company
- 7:45Speaker 1: she works for, back to me. So any chance we
- 7:49Speaker 1: can do it in New York, which gets me closer
- 7:52Speaker 1: to my family is something she's going to take. Now.
- 7:55Speaker 1: This is interesting because recently there has been major reports
- 7:59Speaker 1: that they work in vie on the Kelly Clarkson Show.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Was traumatic, was difficult, was toxic. Now folks are saying
- 8:05Speaker 1: that the staff, the people that are talking out are
- 8:09Speaker 1: staff that are annoyed that she's leaving La and leaving them.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They don't want to move to New York. We all
- 8:13Speaker 1: have families, don't we. It doesn't matter if you're Kelly
- 8:16Speaker 1: Clarkson or you're a scriptwriter on the show. And this
- 8:19Speaker 1: actually ties back quite nicely to a Harry story. Family
- 8:23Speaker 1: has the most amazing emotional pull to your heartstrings. It
- 8:29Speaker 1: really does, and it's something that you can never really
- 8:33Speaker 1: walk away from. I've had moments in my life where
- 8:36Speaker 1: I fell out with my family, but you always go back.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I've had moments in my life when I've fell out
- 8:41Speaker 1: with friends that I haven't gone back to quite as quickly.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Family are always there, And I know we want to
- 8:47Speaker 1: say that that isn't the case, but I think it is.
- 8:51Speaker 1: They have such a connection, for good or bad in
- 8:54Speaker 1: your life, and Kelly's missing them terribly. Her divorce was
- 8:58Speaker 1: really ugly. Never really fit into LA. Oh, She's not
- 9:02Speaker 1: Gwen of Peltrow, and I know that's a stereotype of La,
- 9:05Speaker 1: but there's some truth to it. Kell is an East
- 9:09Speaker 1: Coast girl. She doesn't do the plastic surgery or the botox.
- 9:13Speaker 1: She's quite natural, isn't she, which is something that seems
- 9:17Speaker 1: to be more celebrated on the East Coast than the West.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Dare I say so? I can understand why she's doing this,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and I think talking to her staff is the right thing.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Don't sweep problems under the rug, confront them, talk about
- 9:31Speaker 1: them now. Really, there's not much of a conversation here
- 9:33Speaker 1: because Kelly is the boss. It's her show. But I
- 9:35Speaker 1: think explaining that the choices we were the following one
- 9:39Speaker 1: the show closes in La or two the show remains on,
- 9:43Speaker 1: but we moved to New York. Those are the two choices,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and the staff then can decide do they want to
- 9:47Speaker 1: move their families to New York. I don't know if
- 9:50Speaker 1: they all do, but that's their choice. But I think
- 9:52Speaker 1: Kelly here telling the truth, talking to the staff, not
- 9:56Speaker 1: having secrets, not being shady. I think that's a way
- 10:00Speaker 1: we should all all approach our business lives and our
- 10:03Speaker 1: personal lives. Okay, I had to do a Taylor Swift
- 10:06Speaker 1: story today because now I'm the biggest Taylor Swift fan
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the world. Her new single hints at the reason
- 10:12Speaker 1: behind her split, saying quote, I wouldn't marry me either or.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Taylor's brand new song was released in a deluxe version
- 10:23Speaker 1: of Midnight, which seemingly hinted at the reason behind her
- 10:27Speaker 1: split from her ex Joe Aldwinner. The second verse seemingly
- 10:33Speaker 1: features Taylor begging for her partner to see her pay
- 10:37Speaker 1: in the bridge, a notorious poignant part of any Taylor
- 10:41Speaker 1: Swift song, seemingly wonders why she isn't being valued by
- 10:47Speaker 1: the person she loves as they drift further apart, then
- 10:52Speaker 1: she belts out the track's most devastating lyric singing quote,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and I wouldn't marry me either. Now. Arle Swift has
- 11:04Speaker 1: not commented about the song. She lets her music speak
- 11:07Speaker 1: for itself. Its release comes one month after she broke
- 11:12Speaker 1: up with Joe Aldwyn. They've been together for six years.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Insiders at the time told me, Joe's very shy and
- 11:17Speaker 1: he never liked all the attention that came with dating
- 11:20Speaker 1: Really one of the most popular singers in the world,
- 11:23Speaker 1: What do you think about all this? A few things
- 11:26Speaker 1: after seeing her on Saturday Night and realizing the power
- 11:31Speaker 1: of her celebrity, I don't think I've ever seen that ever,
- 11:34Speaker 1: and I've met a lot of famous people. Madonna at
- 11:38Speaker 1: her peak was definitely a superstar, but this was different.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Trust me, I've toured. I used to work for bon Jovi.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I've been to one hundred John bon Jovi concerts, so
- 11:48Speaker 1: he's played massive arenas outside sixty seventy thousand people. But
- 11:52Speaker 1: it wasn't the same intensity as these young fans had
- 11:56Speaker 1: towards Taylor. After the show, when we were coming home,
- 12:00Speaker 1: we were talking about what a great time we have.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And then one of my friends actually was like, I
- 12:04Speaker 1: feel sorry for her, and I was like what, And
- 12:07Speaker 1: they're like her whole life now she's going to be
- 12:10Speaker 1: Taylor Swift and all the baggage and all the you know, yes,
- 12:13Speaker 1: she makes a lot of money, she lives in the
- 12:15Speaker 1: lap of luxury, but she'll never be able to catch
- 12:17Speaker 1: a train home with her friends after seeing a pop
- 12:19Speaker 1: concert and sit there giggling. It's just not part of
- 12:23Speaker 1: her life. Now she's got security, all these people around her,
- 12:28Speaker 1: and she'll always now be Taylor Swift. And I think
- 12:31Speaker 1: when we're little, a lot of people dream about being
- 12:33Speaker 1: a pop star. Goodness gracious, now I've met so many.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I would hate to be that famous. I'd hate it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And you wonder if your friends are really your friends?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Can you ever have a normal relationship if you're that powerful,
- 12:45Speaker 1: if you're that rich, can you meet people who are equals?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Can you have friends who are equals? How do you
- 12:51Speaker 1: get along with your family now? Are they all on
- 12:53Speaker 1: the payroll? It made me a little bit sad for Taylor.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And then when I was listening to this song about
- 12:59Speaker 1: the breakup, when she says I wouldn't marry me either.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's not because she's not successful. She is. It's not
- 13:06Speaker 1: because she's not beautiful, she is. It's not because she's
- 13:08Speaker 1: not kind, she is. It's because of her fame. Would
- 13:12Speaker 1: you marry somebody that famous? My answer is no, I wouldn't.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Now you know, my husband is a songwriter, and he's
- 13:21Speaker 1: famous amongst writers, amongst people in the theater, amongst other songwriters.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But he's not known. If we walk down the street,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and I love that. I love that we can go
- 13:30Speaker 1: to the diner and get cheap eggs and bacon and
- 13:34Speaker 1: sit there in our sweat pants and her hair is
- 13:36Speaker 1: not even brushed, and we can laugh and we can giggle.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I love that we can walk down the West Side
- 13:41Speaker 1: Highway together and not worry about a paparazzi. Take it
- 13:45Speaker 1: out a picture of having to look nice or be
- 13:47Speaker 1: nice to everybody that comes over and says hello to you.
- 13:50Speaker 1: There's something really alien are that people you don't know
- 13:53Speaker 1: coming over and talking to you like they know you.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I hate to admit this, but Taylor did ask the
- 13:59Speaker 1: question in the Sun. I wouldn't marry me either, And
- 14:03Speaker 1: now I understand exactly what she is talking about. Okay,
- 14:08Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break. Lisa vander Pump is
- 14:11Speaker 1: denying that she learned about the scandal on her show
- 14:14Speaker 1: The Affair A long time ago, So silence in the rumors.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Lisa is denying any knowledge of the Tom cheating on
- 14:24Speaker 1: Ariana before the scandal broke. She said on Twitter quote, no,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I didn't know until in a minute before you all did.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I wish I did, though, Sir vander Pump producers have
- 14:37Speaker 1: really caused this problem by suggesting that they have a
- 14:40Speaker 1: really big reveal coming up, and it sparked speculation that
- 14:45Speaker 1: the revelation would be Lisa vander Pump knew about the
- 14:48Speaker 1: affair all along. However, she is mixing that theory, saying
- 14:52Speaker 1: I know the revelation and that isn't it. So the
- 14:58Speaker 1: reason this story is blowing up is its reality TV,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and often in reality TV, plot lines storylines are manipulated
- 15:06Speaker 1: and not always quite reality. I say so people are
- 15:09Speaker 1: now wondering was this scandal actually real? Was it pre planned?
- 15:13Speaker 1: It's made the show a really really monster hit, bigger
- 15:16Speaker 1: than The Housewives. So was all this done deliberately by
- 15:20Speaker 1: Bravo and Lisa vander Pump. She's saying no, no, No, however,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure are very naughty. Okay, We're gonna
- 15:30Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show. Im the
- 15:37Speaker 1: Globe Shooter. Garrett is after day, so let's get to
- 15:41Speaker 1: the poles d Brittishphears reunited with her mommy after years long,
- 15:48Speaker 1: few years long, I think it's three four years they've
- 15:50Speaker 1: not spoken. Is this a good idea or a bad idea?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Let's have a like. Eighty five percent said a good idea.
- 15:57Speaker 1: This shows about family today, isn't it. Even when family
- 16:00Speaker 1: members hurt you, can you ever walk away and feel okay?
- 16:05Speaker 1: I hope the answer is yes, because some family members
- 16:08Speaker 1: have just done stuff that is so toxic that it
- 16:10Speaker 1: is so bad. They've not learned a lesson. They keep
- 16:12Speaker 1: hurting you over and over again, and you got to
- 16:15Speaker 1: protect yourself. But walking away from family, you know, it's
- 16:19Speaker 1: really really hard. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's poem.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Go add to a page and Naughty Nice romb or
- 16:27Speaker 1: our Facebook page Noughty Gossip, and be sure to check
- 16:31Speaker 1: back tomorrow to learn your results. And now it's time
- 16:37Speaker 1: for our Niciest of the Day. Who King Charles has
- 16:42Speaker 1: honored Tina Turner with a musical tribute at Buckingham Palace.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So King Charles is honoring Tina Turner with a tribute
- 16:51Speaker 1: that is fit for the Queen of rock and roll.
- 16:54Speaker 1: After the legendary singer's death was announced on Wednesday, the
- 16:59Speaker 1: newly crowned allowed the band of the Welsh Guard to
- 17:04Speaker 1: perform Tina's nineteen eighty nine hit The Best during the
- 17:08Speaker 1: Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace on Friday. Charles
- 17:13Speaker 1: first met Tina in nineteen eighty six after she performed
- 17:17Speaker 1: at the Prince's Trust All Star Rock Concert at Wembley Stadium.
- 17:22Speaker 1: We also know too from Prince William that Tina Turner
- 17:25Speaker 1: was really important to this family. He revealed that his mommy,
- 17:29Speaker 1: Princess Diana, would play this song the Best for him
- 17:33Speaker 1: and Harry as they drove to school. She insisted on
- 17:37Speaker 1: driving her sons to school and ease their anxieties in
- 17:41Speaker 1: the car. They on nervous, they didn't want to go
- 17:43Speaker 1: to school, and Princess Diana would play You're simply the Best,
- 17:47Speaker 1: and they would scream and sing I love it, I
- 17:51Speaker 1: love it, I love it, and nicest of the day
- 17:53Speaker 1: and now I'm naughtiest of the day, No naughty. American
- 17:58Speaker 1: Idol runner up Daniel is speaking out about the rumor
- 18:03Speaker 1: that the show was rigged. Following the finale. There's been
- 18:06Speaker 1: some debate amongst the fans that the shows was was rigged,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and Megan is now opening up about the controversy and
- 18:13Speaker 1: pushing back on that, saying, quote, I would say that
- 18:17Speaker 1: that isn't true, you know, because I feel like God
- 18:20Speaker 1: made it all happen for a reason. She went on
- 18:23Speaker 1: to say that I feel like Liam was deserving he won,
- 18:26Speaker 1: and he's so humble and so talented, and this was
- 18:29Speaker 1: his time and I'm super proud of him. You know, Meghan,
- 18:32Speaker 1: you are a class act. Because rumors of something being
- 18:37Speaker 1: rigged steals the success from the winner, doesn't it. And
- 18:41Speaker 1: Liam deserves all this success. And I love that you
- 18:45Speaker 1: are saying. So okay, everyone, let's end with a moment
- 18:49Speaker 1: of ram. You rub, you gotta rub, you get a rub,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you getta rob. You gotta be ready to let somebody
- 18:55Speaker 1: walk out of the door. You have to listen when
- 19:00Speaker 1: if someone tells you that they are not ready to heal.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I'm going through this at the moment with actually a
- 19:07Speaker 1: family member who is just so toxic. Always has been,
- 19:11Speaker 1: always has been nasty, has never been nice. But recently
