- 0:00Speaker 1: Peyton, What are three things we need to know?
- 0:01Speaker 2: The Recording Academy just dropped a massive shake up for
- 0:04Speaker 2: the upcoming sixty ninth Grammy Awards. They are officially adding
- 0:08Speaker 2: five new categories to the roster, so we can expect
- 0:12Speaker 2: Best Asian Pop Music Performance, which is going to be
- 0:14Speaker 2: huge news for the K pop fans, Best Latin Song,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Best R and B Collaboration or Duo Group Performance, Best
- 0:21Speaker 2: Traditional Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Traditional Folk Album. They
- 0:25Speaker 2: are also changing the iconic Best New Artist rule. Musicians
- 0:29Speaker 2: can now submit up to four times in their career
- 0:32Speaker 2: instead of three, which is allowing those artists who take
- 0:35Speaker 2: a little bit longer to break out a fair shot.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Oh okay, that makes sense. So it's like maybe you
- 0:39Speaker 3: had a release but it didn't really do anything, but
- 0:42Speaker 3: now you're on the come up.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 0:44Speaker 3: But the rest of them, besides the the Asian one, like,
- 0:48Speaker 3: I feel like the R and B duo has been
- 0:50Speaker 3: around before. I guess, no idea don't understanding.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think that there's like one hundred
- 0:55Speaker 2: awards or something crazy like that with the Grammys. I
- 0:58Speaker 2: know we only see some of it, but who knows
- 1:01Speaker 2: how they twist.
- 1:01Speaker 3: It around in the funk album. We're all excited about that. Huh.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Chickens can actually be trained to prefer attractive people. So,
- 1:10Speaker 2: researchers found that chickens can recognize human faces, and when
- 1:13Speaker 2: they're trained, they tend to prefer faces that humans also
- 1:17Speaker 2: rate as more attractive, which basically means that they respond
- 1:20Speaker 2: to things like facial symmetry and other features that we
- 1:23Speaker 2: as humans associate with beauty. So if a chicken seems
- 1:26Speaker 2: to like your friend more than you, it might not
- 1:29Speaker 2: just be because they have all the extra snacks. Exactly.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm like, so all the chicken people, you're rady be
- 1:34Speaker 2: looking pretty, so they like you and.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Don't pick you twist up at the farm exactly.
- 1:38Speaker 2: If you've been scrolling through TikTok or Instagram over the
- 1:41Speaker 2: last few weeks, your feet has probably been flooded with
- 1:43Speaker 2: these neon, red, blue, and purple jars of fruit. So
- 1:47Speaker 2: kool Aid pineapples are officially the viral snack craze of
- 1:50Speaker 2: the summer. It all started with this Florida vendor named
- 1:53Speaker 2: Silly Willie. He was selling them out of his car
- 1:55Speaker 2: at the beach for like twenty bucks a jar. In
- 1:57Speaker 2: the Internet we just like completely hijacked his recipe. So
- 2:00Speaker 2: what you do is you drain a jar of pineapple spheres.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You mix the juice with these packets of the kool
- 2:06Speaker 2: Aid sugary powder, and you let it mariny overnight and
- 2:09Speaker 2: the result is this fluorescent candy like fruit that tastes
- 2:12Speaker 2: exactly like a sour patch kit.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yum.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I know right. That's three things you need to know.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Hey Michelle, good morning. You're in the air.
- 2:19Speaker 3: What's up?
- 2:21Speaker 4: Yes, hi, I was listening to you guys on my
- 2:23Speaker 4: way over to a mirror program with my daughter about
- 2:25Speaker 4: the girl that won the tickets with a breathalyizer.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yes, we heard the beeping in the noise. The beeping
- 2:30Speaker 1: in the background. Was like, what's that beeping? She's like,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I have a breathalyzer.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and her just beeping an awful lot. Once
- 2:35Speaker 4: you get it, once it gets warm, you just blow
- 2:37Speaker 4: in it and your car starts up. But you got
- 2:39Speaker 4: to warm them up. They don't take that long. I
- 2:41Speaker 4: have one in my car. I live in California. I've
- 2:44Speaker 4: got one. Oh I I was not court mandated here.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I chose to have one in my car because you
- 2:52Speaker 4: get restricted license and a restricted license is to and
- 2:56Speaker 4: from work, to and from your guy class, nowhere else.
- 2:59Speaker 4: If you're caught anywhere else, you know, of course they'll
- 3:02Speaker 4: put you in jail. So in order to avoid all
- 3:04Speaker 4: that stuff, I went through the DM because it's GMD
- 3:08Speaker 4: mandated to do this, because they asked me what I
- 3:10Speaker 4: do for a job, and I am an I h
- 3:12Speaker 4: s S worker for my two special needs adult kids,
- 3:17Speaker 4: and I drive everywhere. I'm just not tune from to
- 3:20Speaker 4: one place. I'm everywhere. So I opted and chose to
- 3:23Speaker 4: put a breathalyzer in my car.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But you don't do you drink?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I understand. I just figured if you didn't drink,
- 3:36Speaker 3: then you would be.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Just like you are you. I thought you were going
- 3:40Speaker 1: down the paths. If you get some discount, you get
- 3:42Speaker 1: some you get some extra whatever, like you could drive
- 3:44Speaker 1: it into car poolinge you know, you could do whatever
- 3:46Speaker 1: if you have a brother. Because you're like I chose
- 3:48Speaker 1: to do it. Very interesting, sir, Well, thank you very
- 3:51Speaker 1: much
