Man Charged With Hate Crime at Synagogue | New York City News
A 46-year-old man, Larry Montes, is facing both state and federal hate crime charges after allegedly storming a Midtown Manhattan synagogue during Shabbat service, knocking over candlesticks, attacking security, spitting on and headbutting a Black guard while hurling racial slurs — all while openly admitting his hatred for Jewish people.
