- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared Y Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: What do you know about krawdads? Do you know anything
- 0:09Speaker 2: about krowdads?
- 0:10Speaker 3: I know that I had one krawdad or crawfish? Is
- 0:13Speaker 3: that the same thing? Crawfish boil? And you bet Texas
- 0:16Speaker 3: when I lived there, and they were disgusting. Okay, they're
- 0:18Speaker 3: bottom feeders. They don't taste good.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Okay.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I don't know anything about them. And we have like
- 0:25Speaker 2: this little uh it's like a lake.
- 0:27Speaker 4: In our neighborhood.
- 0:27Speaker 2: It's like, I don't know what it is, a mile
- 0:29Speaker 2: around mile and a half and then there's a storm
- 0:31Speaker 2: drain that comes out of the mountain into the lake
- 0:35Speaker 2: and all the krawdads hang out there and they come
- 0:37Speaker 2: zipping down the storm drain.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I didn't even know we had them in Colorado.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah. So he was out there last night with a
- 0:43Speaker 2: buddy and a flashlight and a home depot bucket and
- 0:47Speaker 2: they had the bucket was topped off with the krawdads.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Is that many?
- 0:52Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah?
- 0:53Speaker 4: And I was like, what what are you doing?
- 0:56Speaker 2: And I guess he's been out there and he's been
- 0:57Speaker 2: catching him and releasing him.
- 0:59Speaker 4: But the other day I wasn't aware of this.
- 1:01Speaker 2: He caught a bunch of a buddy took him to
- 1:04Speaker 2: my neighbor's house and they they cooked them and ate them.
- 1:08Speaker 4: No is he Okay?
- 1:10Speaker 2: I mean he's there hasn't been any sickness raining in
- 1:13Speaker 2: the house. But can you get worms? He's eating sewer crawdads.
- 1:21Speaker 3: That's disgusting, That's what I'm thinking.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Okay. So on one hand, I'm like, this is rad.
- 1:28Speaker 2: He's out getting crawdads out of a storm drain, living
- 1:31Speaker 2: his best life.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Right, He's not on the xbox. On the other hand, yeah,
- 1:34Speaker 4: he's not on a tablet, you know.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And on the other hand, I'm like, you're eating uh sewer,
- 1:41Speaker 2: They're like rats.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Almost to me, that just gave me the ship, Like
- 1:44Speaker 3: that's I don't ship.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I don't like that at all. I don't like it either.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I'm uncomfortable with this. So I don't actually ate them.
- 1:51Speaker 4: They ate them up. Oh boy. So I don't know.
- 1:56Speaker 3: For him though, I mean, like I don't know. I
- 1:58Speaker 3: I remember when I was really young at it's something
- 2:00Speaker 3: stupid and we would magnifying glass like fry roly polleys
- 2:05Speaker 3: and eat them like as a child. Oh god, no, yeah,
- 2:08Speaker 3: I know. No, I know, but we were like, we
- 2:10Speaker 3: fried them up, and so we put it's wrong with
- 2:12Speaker 3: you a lot. I mean we've discussed this a lot,
- 2:15Speaker 3: but that was. Yeah, I was like nine, ten years old.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I feel so bad about the crowd heads. Now, at
- 2:21Speaker 2: least they actually cooked the crawdads. I'm thinking of your
- 2:24Speaker 2: girlfriend right now, who kisses you.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Oh it was years ago.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Never got to say anyway, that wasn't what we were
- 2:32Speaker 4: going to talk about.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I just was like looking at my phone. I was like,
- 2:35Speaker 2: I don't know anything about crowdads. I don't know if
- 2:37Speaker 2: it's safe to eat them. If they're coming out of
- 2:39Speaker 2: some random sewer pipe.
- 2:41Speaker 3: It's like a Southern delicacy.
- 2:42Speaker 2: But this, I guess if you boil it, if they
- 2:45Speaker 2: have anything inside them, it's gonna get killed if you.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Boil them long enough. But yeah, still that's gross.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I don't like it. Anyway.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I don't like it either.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Keep an eye as soon as they.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Get home today he's grounded. I grabbed a bite with
- 2:59Speaker 2: my buddy the other day. Yeah, they had gotten a
- 3:03Speaker 2: new puppy. I mean, this seems like six months old,
- 3:05Speaker 2: but somehow the dog got into an office closet and
- 3:11Speaker 2: pulled out a wedding album that was in the closet
- 3:17Speaker 2: and proceeded to chew it up. Oh no, and it's
- 3:21Speaker 2: an album because they were married, Like I don't even know,
- 3:26Speaker 2: I probably early two thousands.
- 3:28Speaker 4: So it's pictures, Yeah, real life picture.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It's real life pictures printed it from Walgreens or something,
- 3:34Speaker 2: but it's real life photo from you in this scrap book.
- 3:39Speaker 4: And the dog got a hold of it and just
- 3:41Speaker 4: chewed the Bejesus out of it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:44Speaker 2: His wife is devastated because there's no digital backup for
- 3:49Speaker 2: these pictures. He's saying there was something like five hundred
- 3:51Speaker 2: pictures in the album that from ceremony a reception to
- 3:55Speaker 2: family portraits?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Is it all gone?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Pictures with like grandparents and stuff that aren't around anymore shredded.
- 4:03Speaker 2: He's like, there's you know, a handful in there that
- 4:05Speaker 2: are still salvageable. He's like, but a majority of them.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I mean, He's like, we weren't.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Home for a couple hours. Yeah, the dog.
- 4:13Speaker 2: The dog was like this, get my too, toy, so
- 4:18Speaker 2: just just destroyed.
- 4:19Speaker 4: The wedding of them. I was like, well, what do
- 4:20Speaker 4: you do?
- 4:20Speaker 2: I mean, you got a puppy, there's nothing you can
- 4:22Speaker 2: do about it. But it's just one of those moments
- 4:24Speaker 2: you're like, damn.
- 4:25Speaker 4: It, why did we get a dog? Why in the
- 4:28Speaker 4: world did we get a dog? It's rough it.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So if you guys have a story about what your
- 4:36Speaker 2: dog destroyed at your house, I see lines are ringing.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Josh, do you have one before you get phones?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Uh?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Three?
- 4:42Speaker 4: Zo three six nine one sixteen forty nine. You guys on,
- 4:45Speaker 4: hold hang tight. Do you have one?
- 4:46Speaker 3: By chance?
- 4:47Speaker 1: I do?
- 4:47Speaker 3: So my sister, she and her husband raise and breed
- 4:50Speaker 3: golden doodles. Okay, so this was about last year. They
- 4:54Speaker 3: had the mother dog and she got into my sister's purse.
- 4:58Speaker 3: So not only did she destroy the purse, but my
- 5:02Speaker 3: sister's purse was air tagged so she in case she
- 5:05Speaker 3: ever lost anything. So the dog now swallowed that air
- 5:09Speaker 3: tag hole. And immediately my sister and her husband took
- 5:12Speaker 3: the dog to the vet and they're like, do we
- 5:13Speaker 3: need surgery? Like what's going on? And the vet was like, hey,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you know what, everything looks intact there. I think this
- 5:20Speaker 3: dog can pass it. And so they were able to
- 5:23Speaker 3: follow the air tag as the dog for a couple
- 5:26Speaker 3: of days passed it safely and we all watched it
- 5:29Speaker 3: on a live stream essentially as the dog was able
- 5:32Speaker 3: to safely, but she completely destroyed her purse, her walk cards,
- 5:37Speaker 3: Like I don't know what it wasn't like a Gucci
- 5:40Speaker 3: or anything, but it was, you know, it was a
- 5:41Speaker 3: nice purse. But the whole thing was eight the credit
- 5:43Speaker 3: cards and the air tag. And that was when I
- 5:45Speaker 3: was like, you know what, I grew up with dogs
- 5:47Speaker 3: my whole life. I'm very glad I don't have one.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Yeah, terrors, for sure.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It's expensive just to even get your dog checked of
- 5:53Speaker 3: what they're eating and full of air tags and things
- 5:56Speaker 3: like that.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So when they're eating really bad things, you got to
- 5:58Speaker 2: get the extras you like. Yep, there's the tach What
- 6:00Speaker 2: a great endorsement for Apple though, that your dog can
- 6:02Speaker 2: eat it and pass.
- 6:03Speaker 4: It stomach acid. So yeah, yeah, perfect, pass it safely.
- 6:07Speaker 2: All right, guys, what did your dog destroy? We want
- 6:10Speaker 2: to hear about it. We want your stories, if you
- 6:13Speaker 2: want to call in and tell us.
- 6:14Speaker 4: What your dog destroyed.
- 6:17Speaker 2: All based off a lunch I had with my buddy
- 6:19Speaker 2: the other day and his new puppy got into an
- 6:23Speaker 2: office closet, pulled out a wedding album with about five
- 6:26Speaker 2: hundred photos and proceeded to make it his bach completely
- 6:32Speaker 2: chewed up all the wedding photos.
- 6:34Speaker 4: He said, his wife is devastated. What does your dog eat?
- 6:39Speaker 2: Three h three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Ron
- 6:42Speaker 2: wrote in on the text line and said, after my
- 6:44Speaker 2: grandpa passed away, I inherited his handwritten recipe book that
- 6:48Speaker 2: had been in the family for a long time. One afternoon,
- 6:50Speaker 2: my puppy chewed through the entire front and back and
- 6:54Speaker 2: a ruined several pages before I caught him. Devastated, he said, yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 2: there's no replacing that one, for sure. I've heard of
- 7:02Speaker 2: dogs too, like knocking over cremaines and somehow getting Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 2: can you imagine can you imagine?
- 7:10Speaker 4: No no fluffy? Hi Angela, Hey, good morning, Well, good
- 7:15Speaker 4: morning to you. So did you have a dog wreaking
- 7:18Speaker 4: havoc in your house?
- 7:20Speaker 3: I did you know?
- 7:21Speaker 6: I didn't go up with dogs, and so I got
- 7:23Speaker 6: this roommate. You had a rot weather puppy, and I
- 7:25Speaker 6: was like, okay, I can handle this. And I didn't
- 7:27Speaker 6: understand the dog ways. So I come home from work
- 7:30Speaker 6: one day and I look out in the yard and
- 7:31Speaker 6: the puppies just tossing all sorts of toys around like
- 7:34Speaker 6: having the time of her life. Like I'm like, wow,
- 7:37Speaker 6: she's got a lot of new toys. And I look
- 7:39Speaker 6: and it was about four or five seventy dollars Victoria's
- 7:43Speaker 6: secret bras that were being tossed around the backyard like
- 7:47Speaker 6: a dog toy. Yeh yeah into the roommate. It looked
- 7:52Speaker 6: at me like, your fault for leaving the bras out.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it is kind of your fault, but my god,
- 7:56Speaker 2: those are yeah, you're right, those are not cheap brash.
- 8:00Speaker 4: And the dog there's dogs are perverts too. They go
- 8:03Speaker 4: after they go after that kind of stuff.
- 8:07Speaker 2: So that that is a funny story, Angela, and I
- 8:10Speaker 2: think we all have a visual right now of a
- 8:12Speaker 2: dog with a broad and mad. So, hey, you you
- 8:15Speaker 2: have a super due's weekend. We appreciate you calling in.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Take care Angela.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Here is Jacob. What's up, Jacob?
- 8:21Speaker 7: Hey, how's it going?
- 8:22Speaker 4: Well, we're pretty good, buddy. So do you have a
- 8:25Speaker 4: dog that causted some problems?
- 8:27Speaker 7: Yeah? So I had two blue healers and this was
- 8:34Speaker 7: kind of my fault as well. I have them in
- 8:36Speaker 7: an apartment. You know, healers have a lot of energy. Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 7: I had them keep them candled. One day, I came
- 8:42Speaker 7: back from the eye doctors got a brand new set
- 8:45Speaker 7: of oak least five hundred dollars. So I'm glad that
- 8:49Speaker 7: I came home put them on the counter. I was like, Okay,
- 8:52Speaker 7: I gotta go back, I gotta go to King Soupers.
- 8:55Speaker 7: I leave, come back and the cases on the ground.
- 9:01Speaker 7: The dogs got out of my Alcatraz cannel prison I
- 9:04Speaker 7: had them in and they chewed through the lenses, just
- 9:08Speaker 7: destroyed it. Yeah, And there was.
- 9:12Speaker 5: A second the same dogs the second occasion. So I
- 9:18Speaker 5: came home. They got out of Alcatraz again and they
- 9:23Speaker 5: got into my bedroom. They dug a hole through my
- 9:26Speaker 5: memory foam mattress all the way down to the bottom.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Good god man.
- 9:31Speaker 7: And then they put their toys inside of it, stuffed
- 9:34Speaker 7: them down in there, and then they peed in it,
- 9:37Speaker 7: and then they stuffed the blankets back into it.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Why were your dogs so mad at you, Jacob, I
- 9:41Speaker 2: don't know, because I candled the probably kennels man.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I felt bad, but.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, and you you got to know
- 9:51Speaker 2: that they were trying those sunglasses on first before they
- 9:53Speaker 2: destroyed them.
- 9:54Speaker 7: You know, the dogs have the sense a sense of
- 9:57Speaker 7: what you love and they're.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Like, I think I'm gonna destroy Yeah, mine now mine now, Jacob,
- 10:03Speaker 2: that is what we're looking for, Buddy.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Really appreciate the phone call. Have a great weekend.
- 10:07Speaker 2: So funny and uh Maria, Hi, Maria, Hi, hey you.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I'm just reading some of the texts that are coming in.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Uh no name two one three said our lab somehow
- 10:19Speaker 2: got into the pantry while we were at work and
- 10:21Speaker 2: tore open a twenty five pound bag of flour.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Ooh, she said.
- 10:26Speaker 2: We we got home, it looked like a crime scene
- 10:27Speaker 2: and there were little white paw prints all over.
- 10:30Speaker 4: The house, like the hustle and Greta leave the bread
- 10:32Speaker 4: coup right.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you could know you knew where the dog was
- 10:35Speaker 2: because the white powder was everywhere.
- 10:37Speaker 4: My god, all right, Maria, tell us about your dog.
- 10:39Speaker 4: What happened?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Well, this was when I was single in the eighties
- 10:43Speaker 1: and I had a Stafford Wiltarya pit bull. Yeah, she
- 10:46Speaker 1: was a puppy, and I had grand new nurses shoes
- 10:49Speaker 1: that cost me over one hundred dollars, and this were
- 10:52Speaker 1: the eighties. That wasn't a lot a lot of money.
- 10:54Speaker 1: One hundred dollars.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Absolutely, well, I came home.
- 10:58Speaker 1: She not only destroyed my shoe use I mean to pieces.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I could never put him back together. It was so bad.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And she also made a h she decided to chew
- 11:09Speaker 1: a hole in my wall in my spare rope.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Good God.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And I was like, I can't believe she did that.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I never did it again. She was a dog. But
- 11:18Speaker 1: just those two things that it really was something.
- 11:21Speaker 4: It was just that. Yeah, that one time thing with
- 11:23Speaker 4: the wall. The dog was just curious. She's like, I wonder.
- 11:25Speaker 2: What that wall tastes like?
- 11:27Speaker 4: Went in after it, Maria, thank you so much. Very funny.
- 11:31Speaker 2: A couple more that quickly came in on the text line.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Somebody said their Golden Retrievers swallowed not one, but two
- 11:37Speaker 2: TV remotes.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Oh that such, Josh, did you have any want to Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 3: this one's funny. This one actually just came in from Christine,
- 11:43Speaker 3: And this is so bad. I can't even imagine this.
- 11:46Speaker 3: She said that she hung her bridesmaid dress on the
- 11:49Speaker 3: outside of her door as she showered. She came back
- 11:52Speaker 3: and she says, little Pomeranian, which, by the way, I've
- 11:55Speaker 3: had a Pomeranian.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Worst dog ever.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I've completely unwrappled the bottom half and she goes. We
- 12:01Speaker 3: had the same day ship it to try to fix it,
- 12:03Speaker 3: and it still looked bad. That's horrible because you're the
- 12:07Speaker 3: one ruining the wedding. You don't look good as the
- 12:09Speaker 3: price exact exactly.
- 12:11Speaker 4: That dog would immediately go up for adoption. Yes, absolutely,
