Twelve determined students from Millstreet Community School are hiking 117km along Ireland’s historic Butter Road—from Listowel to Cork—to raise €100,000 for Breakthrough Cancer Research and Mellon Educate. Walking the same route farmers once used to ship butter to global markets, they’re tackling steep climbs and descents while spreading hope across counties and continents. Already over €11,000 raised, their mission blends adventure with purpose: funding cancer research and building schools in South Africa. Next March, some will even travel to Cape Town to help build those classrooms…
