- 0:16Speaker 2: just make your heart smile. The show is called Got
- 0:20Speaker 2: to Get Out. Fans got to know and love Susan Knowles,
- 0:24Speaker 2: Demi Burnett, and Claire Crawley on our beloved Bachelor Nation
- 0:28Speaker 2: shows over the years, from starring on the very first
- 0:32Speaker 2: seasons of The Golden Bachelor, to being the Bachelorette, to
- 0:35Speaker 2: making Bachelor and Paradise history. These ladies are no stranger
- 0:39Speaker 2: to the reality television stage, and now they're back on
- 0:43Speaker 2: our screens and Hulu's new reality TV competition show, Got
- 0:47Speaker 2: to Get Out. The show premiered on Friday, April eleventh.
- 0:52Speaker 2: According to Deadline, the series pits reality TV royals against
- 0:55Speaker 2: Reality TV rookies who live under one roof and fight
- 0:59Speaker 2: for chance to win one million.
- 1:03Speaker 3: One million dollars guys and Demi, Claire and Susan are
- 1:08Speaker 3: amongst like Like Ben said, Like TV Royalty, Reality TV
- 1:12Speaker 3: royalty Spencer Pratt Valve from Dancing with the Stars Kim
- 1:16Speaker 3: Zolziak and all Morosa. They're all competing together for this
- 1:22Speaker 3: million dollar prize. On the show. Everyone has a chance
- 1:25Speaker 3: to either stay together in the house and split the
- 1:28Speaker 3: money equally at the end, or try to escape at
- 1:31Speaker 3: any point and then keep all the prize money for themselves.
- 1:35Speaker 3: That is going to leave everybody back at the house
- 1:38Speaker 3: with nothing. However, the longer they're in the house together,
- 1:41Speaker 3: the greater the prize money becomes. There's a clock and
- 1:45Speaker 3: there's a button, and you can keep watching the money
- 1:49Speaker 3: go up higher and higher.
- 1:50Speaker 2: The show's out now. All episodes of Got to Get
- 1:53Speaker 2: Out are now streaming on Hulu, so you gotta go
- 1:56Speaker 2: stream them. It is, as we said, reality television, along
- 2:01Speaker 2: with some reality TV rookies. Got to Get Out premiered
- 2:05Speaker 2: April eleventh on Hulu. It's streaming now. Then, we have
- 2:09Speaker 2: one of the stars with us today, Demmy, Welcome back
- 2:13Speaker 2: to Almost Famous.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Hi, thanks for having me.
- 2:18Speaker 2: The show is wild. I just we just read through
- 2:21Speaker 2: what this show is about. How in the world did
- 2:23Speaker 2: you say us to it?
- 2:25Speaker 4: I wanted money? Yeah, and also.
- 2:31Speaker 5: You should never turn down the opportunity to be on television.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I mean, we just had you on I don't know
- 2:36Speaker 2: how many months ago. It's been. Time flies when we're
- 2:39Speaker 2: having so much fun here. But back then you were
- 2:42Speaker 2: kind of talking about how you did desire to be
- 2:44Speaker 2: back on television, but you you know, you also spoke
- 2:47Speaker 2: about kind of your journey personally. So when they approached
- 2:54Speaker 2: you about coming on this show, did you have any hesitations?
- 3:00Speaker 5: Like I think that before like I do anything, that
- 3:05Speaker 5: my first initial reaction is always no, I don't want to,
- 3:09Speaker 5: Like I don't know, like that sounds scary, or like
- 3:12Speaker 5: I would just much rather stay in my safe place
- 3:14Speaker 5: at home and like with my animals and like my
- 3:17Speaker 5: cozy little haven that I've built, And no matter how
- 3:22Speaker 5: great it is, like, my first initial reaction is I
- 3:24Speaker 5: don't want to. But then of course it's like, well,
- 3:27Speaker 5: this is what we want, this is what we love doing,
- 3:30Speaker 5: this is what we need to do also.
- 3:34Speaker 4: And so.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Then it's like I tell I can tell like my
- 3:38Speaker 5: close people about it, so they get excited for me,
- 3:40Speaker 5: so then I can start to feel more excited. But yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 5: I mean it's always like I'm scared, but I'm gonna
- 3:47Speaker 5: do it anyway.
- 3:50Speaker 2: The animals mean so much to you, Where do they
- 3:52Speaker 2: go during the process of filming.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I actually have someone who stays here, and she's known
- 3:58Speaker 5: my dog since he was a puppies, So I just
- 4:00Speaker 5: have her stay in my apartment.
- 4:02Speaker 2: That's feel good.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it feels good knowing there in safe pans.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Well, to me, this show sounds wild, it sounds exciting.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It obviously premiered April eleventh, and we're here to talk
- 4:15Speaker 2: about it today. For anybody that is just saving up
- 4:19Speaker 2: to watch this, to binge it, to do whatever they
- 4:22Speaker 2: do on Hulu while they tune in, can you give
- 4:26Speaker 2: them kind of a teaser to what this show is
- 4:28Speaker 2: all about?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I think that it's it's stupidly silly,
- 4:33Speaker 5: like it's it's stupid funny. It's so funny. I mean,
- 4:36Speaker 5: I can't believe how funny it is. I didn't know
- 4:38Speaker 5: what to expect, but it's it's it's a wonderful show.
- 4:43Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Everyone that watches it loves it. You can expect like
- 4:47Speaker 5: some cliffhangers, like intense moments, but luckily for the cliffhanger,
- 4:51Speaker 5: you get to binge it, so you don't have to
- 4:53Speaker 5: wait a week. You can just watch the next episode.
- 4:56Speaker 5: It's it's uh it's good, it's funny, it's I love it.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I don't know, I think it's so good.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Have you I mean you've gone through and watched everything
- 5:07Speaker 2: at this point, right, Yes, yes, I have. Yeah, there's
- 5:11Speaker 2: a lot to this kind of new world of reality
- 5:14Speaker 2: television stars coming back on reality television, the veterans, the
- 5:19Speaker 2: all stars as that category I would throw you into.
- 5:23Speaker 2: But then also this show has the rookies, the ones
- 5:26Speaker 2: that have never been a part of reality television. Was
- 5:29Speaker 2: that a different dynamic? Did you kind of? Could you?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Since the skill sets the comfortability?
- 5:36Speaker 5: Well?
- 5:37Speaker 6: Yes.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Also what's the most interesting part to me is that
- 5:42Speaker 5: most of the rookies, they're focus in the beginning, like,
- 5:48Speaker 5: is that they want to stay the whole show. So
- 5:51Speaker 5: they're like, oh, I don't even want to try to
- 5:52Speaker 5: seal the money yet, because you know, we've only been
- 5:54Speaker 5: here two days and there's ten days, Like I want
- 5:56Speaker 5: to make it as long as possible because they want
- 5:58Speaker 5: to be on a show. And I'm like, get me
- 5:59Speaker 5: out if you're right now, Like the second that thing's
- 6:01Speaker 5: out one hundred thousand dollars.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I'm like, I want to go. I want to go,
- 6:04Speaker 4: I want to go.
- 6:06Speaker 5: So yeah, that's an interesting dynamic of like trying to
- 6:10Speaker 5: get people to take these clues seriously. Whenever they're still
- 6:13Speaker 5: like they want to be on TV, which is I
- 6:15Speaker 5: get it. I'm sure I would feel that way too.
- 6:17Speaker 5: I did feel that way. But yeah, it's cute.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, they want to be on TV. This is their moment,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and for you, you're like, I've had my moments.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Yes, yes, they're like, this is my moment, and I'm like,
- 6:29Speaker 5: this is not network television.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 2: There's so much to this that kind of is intrigued
- 6:45Speaker 2: to me. One is this all star cast that they
- 6:48Speaker 2: put together. We mentioned the contestants from Bachelor Nation. We
- 6:52Speaker 2: obviously know you best from Bachelor in Paradise and your
- 6:54Speaker 2: time on the Bachelor, along with Susan Knowles and Claire,
- 7:00Speaker 2: but then also you have the Spencer Pratts and the
- 7:02Speaker 2: Omerosa's and all these others that are kind of coming
- 7:04Speaker 2: on the show. When you walked into the house, I'm
- 7:08Speaker 2: assuming you didn't know who the other cast members are
- 7:11Speaker 2: gonna be until you met them or saw them when
- 7:14Speaker 2: you first showed up. What was your reaction like when
- 7:17Speaker 2: you noticed some familiar faces.
- 7:20Speaker 5: When I saw Omerosa, I remember I ran and hid
- 7:24Speaker 5: under the pool table out of like excitement and like,
- 7:27Speaker 5: oh my gosh, I'm so scared to like meet her,
- 7:30Speaker 5: like you know.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I want her to like me.
- 7:32Speaker 5: But yeah, so that was really exciting. I didn't ever
- 7:35Speaker 5: watch The Hills. I wasn't allowed to watch that growing up,
- 7:38Speaker 5: so like I didn't know Spencer Pratt was, but it
- 7:40Speaker 5: was cool to learn about who they were, Like as
- 7:44Speaker 5: I'm on the show and like kind of I don't know,
- 7:47Speaker 5: hear their stories, get to know them.
- 7:49Speaker 4: It was great.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Like me and Omerosa became such good friends and like
- 7:52Speaker 5: I never in a million years would like a dream
- 7:55Speaker 5: of saying that. You know, like she's one of the
- 7:57Speaker 5: biggest reality TV icons ever and you know she calls
- 8:02Speaker 5: me all the time now and like I crocheted her
- 8:04Speaker 5: a little cute little teddy bear, like you know, so
- 8:08Speaker 5: I really I'm so glad that I got to see
- 8:11Speaker 5: them and see them in their element. Also, Susan my mother,
- 8:16Speaker 5: like literally the best we She was my safety blanket
- 8:20Speaker 5: in there for sure.
- 8:22Speaker 4: She took care of me.
- 8:23Speaker 5: She made sure that I ate because I need that
- 8:26Speaker 5: because like especially when I'm like around a bunch of
- 8:28Speaker 5: so many people and I'm so anxious like I'm so
- 8:30Speaker 5: scared to do anything, and like I will just not
- 8:33Speaker 5: even realize that I didn't eat because I was just
- 8:35Speaker 5: scared the whole time. And so like she'll make me
- 8:38Speaker 5: a plate, or like make a plate big enough for
- 8:40Speaker 5: both of us so I could eat with her. Stuff
- 8:42Speaker 5: like that. It's like so big for me. I don't
- 8:44Speaker 5: even know what your question was. I'm just rambling.
- 8:46Speaker 2: No, you answered it perfectly, and it actually leads me
- 8:49Speaker 2: to do a question I never thought about asking. But
- 8:51Speaker 2: I'm super curious for you personally. I feel like I remember,
- 8:55Speaker 2: and I could this could just be a dream that
- 8:58Speaker 2: I had. I don't know. I feel like I remember
- 9:01Speaker 2: you saying during our time on Almost Famous, when we
- 9:04Speaker 2: interviewed you about your life and your victories and your
- 9:10Speaker 2: struggles and just kind of catching up on everything that
- 9:14Speaker 2: had happened to you since your time on The Bachelor,
- 9:16Speaker 2: that you had mentioned that you felt like most comfortable
- 9:21Speaker 2: when you're on a TV show, that like you felt
- 9:23Speaker 2: this different level of purpose or comfort or whatever you
- 9:26Speaker 2: want to describe it when the cameras are around.
- 9:29Speaker 5: It's it's so I feel that way still when I
- 9:32Speaker 5: do stuff for the Bachelor, like when it's my turf,
- 9:35Speaker 5: not when I'm with reality TV star legends who might
- 9:42Speaker 5: be like annoyed by my behavior, who don't necessarily encourage
- 9:46Speaker 5: all the demisms. Whereas when I'm filming for DEMI and
- 9:50Speaker 5: everyone's pro Demi, That's when I'm feel the most comfortable,
- 9:53Speaker 5: best time of my life. But I do not feel
- 9:55Speaker 5: the most comfortable when I'm competing with other people for
- 9:59Speaker 5: airtime or just personality wise. No, that that for me
- 10:04Speaker 5: is hard. It's hard for me to exist as myself
- 10:06Speaker 5: because I'm like, I don't know what's gonna get what
- 10:09Speaker 5: reaction from the person, and like I don't I don't
- 10:11Speaker 5: want to be yelled at. I hate being like yelled
- 10:13Speaker 5: at or scolded like that just makes me fired up,
- 10:16Speaker 5: so stuff like that.
- 10:17Speaker 4: But yeah, I do love I love it when I'm.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Praised when I'm in front of the camera, but not
- 10:25Speaker 5: when other people don't like my antics. And it's even
- 10:29Speaker 5: when I was on The Bachelor, they would silently not
- 10:32Speaker 5: like them. You know, I didn't know that they didn't
- 10:34Speaker 5: like them, but on this show I knew.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, And it had to help then to
- 10:40Speaker 2: have Susan there, somebody that is such a comforting person
- 10:44Speaker 2: who lets.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Me be myself and who isn't judging me because like
- 10:47Speaker 5: I mean, I get it some I won't. Like I
- 10:48Speaker 5: got really stressed out halfway through and I had to
- 10:51Speaker 5: start carrying around my emotional support bunny that I just
- 10:55Speaker 5: needed him with me because I'd wearing my loop earplugs
- 10:58Speaker 5: because I need to hear people whisper.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I was just very.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Anxious anyway, Like Susan and Omrosa just supported the hell
- 11:06Speaker 5: out of me, and that bunny, like Oma Rossa was
- 11:08Speaker 5: bringing me carrots for my bunny. Can you imagine, like
- 11:11Speaker 5: this villain, this reality TV villain, and she's playing with
- 11:14Speaker 5: me and my bunny because she knows that it makes
- 11:16Speaker 5: me happy and she knows like I'm I'm kind of
- 11:19Speaker 5: maybe sitting by myself or something like she's taking care
- 11:22Speaker 5: of me. So yeah, I could be myself with Omrosa
- 11:25Speaker 5: and with Susan. But you know, and the show is
- 11:29Speaker 5: totally not about drama at all, so you don't see
- 11:31Speaker 5: any of this drama. The show is very lighthearted and
- 11:34Speaker 5: very positive, and I think it's a great thing because
- 11:36Speaker 5: it'll encourage, you know, if there's another season, people will
- 11:39Speaker 5: want to go on it because they.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Weren't worried about getting canceled.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Yeah, because let me tell you, we all did some
- 11:44Speaker 5: very canceled little things in that house at one point
- 11:46Speaker 5: or another.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That's amazing. I mean that that is a place too.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That environment does bring a level of comfort. So you
- 11:55Speaker 2: just kind of mention it. But comparing this exp well,
- 11:58Speaker 2: first off, let me ask, have you done it any
- 12:00Speaker 2: other spinoff shows like reality television shows post Bachelor World
- 12:04Speaker 2: that I'm like not thinking of.
- 12:06Speaker 5: No, not ones where I went and like stayed and
- 12:09Speaker 5: uh like stayed the stuff. No, I did like Celebrity
- 12:12Speaker 5: Dating Game and then I hosted Bachelor stuff.
- 12:15Speaker 4: But no, no, I don't think so, I hope not.
- 12:18Speaker 2: So you were like a rookie in a lot of
- 12:20Speaker 2: ways too to the kind of this New World did.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Do wwe But that's completely different. That was completely Yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 2: No, this is like a different environment. You're staying there,
- 12:28Speaker 2: there's a whole new goal in mind, there's a new
- 12:30Speaker 2: group of people, and so you're in a sense of
- 12:32Speaker 2: rookie walking into this not knowing how you're going to
- 12:34Speaker 2: react or what to expect. So if for listeners out
- 12:38Speaker 2: there and future viewers of Got to get out, how
- 12:43Speaker 2: was the filming process different than The Bachelor for you.
- 12:48Speaker 5: So different because I mean, I don't know if I'm
- 12:51Speaker 5: allowed to talk about this. I mean I'm sure that
- 12:53Speaker 5: they will tell you if I'm not, or like, they'll
- 12:54Speaker 5: fix it, we'll make this right. But like, okay, So
- 12:58Speaker 5: on The Bachelor, say you like get into a fight
- 13:01Speaker 5: with someone and then you walk away, there's a producer
- 13:04Speaker 5: chasing after you, being like, oh my gosh, that girl
- 13:07Speaker 5: was such a like she was so in the wrong
- 13:09Speaker 5: you you didn't do anything, like you know she does,
- 13:12Speaker 5: serves for you to yell at her again.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Blah blah.
- 13:14Speaker 5: You have someone validating you, comforting you, and also like
- 13:18Speaker 5: milking you in an interview after it and being there
- 13:20Speaker 5: for you. On this show, you get into if I
- 13:22Speaker 5: was someone no production, nobody comes up to you, nobody
- 13:25Speaker 5: does anything. We do it completely differently, Like the interview's
- 13:31Speaker 5: completely different. Just an hour a day, thirty minutes for
- 13:34Speaker 5: half of us, thirty minutes for they'll half get all
- 13:36Speaker 5: our interviews done and that was it. And then the
- 13:39Speaker 5: rest of the time there's no production.
- 13:41Speaker 2: There's no producer.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Even the room they're hiding, they're like in the other
- 13:45Speaker 5: rooms in the mansion.
- 13:46Speaker 4: All watching us.
- 13:47Speaker 5: They're like hiding behind a curtain or something like they're there.
- 13:50Speaker 5: They'll come out to explain the games and stuff to you,
- 13:53Speaker 5: but there's no like I need a producer to talk like.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I mean, you can talk to them absolutely, but not
- 13:59Speaker 5: like the way that like you can't talk to them
- 14:01Speaker 5: about the game and stuff like it's not the zero
- 14:04Speaker 5: producer involvement.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Zero.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Like like when I would get into something with someone
- 14:09Speaker 5: or I would feel upset, like I would, I would
- 14:10Speaker 5: go to the bathtub. I would just go to the
- 14:12Speaker 5: bathtub because I could be alone in there and I
- 14:15Speaker 5: could be regulating in a warm body of water and
- 14:18Speaker 5: I could just relax. Or even sometimes when it was empty,
- 14:21Speaker 5: I would sit in there because I could just get
- 14:22Speaker 5: away from everyone. But because there's there is no you know,
- 14:27Speaker 5: I had to fix it myself. And I can't bring
- 14:29Speaker 5: down these other cast mates with me because I I
- 14:32Speaker 5: you know, they're Susan's too busy having fun. So I
- 14:35Speaker 5: gotta I gotta figure this out myself, which normally I
- 14:38Speaker 5: could have figured it out with the producer and felt
- 14:40Speaker 5: better because the producer's baby so much on The Bachelor.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Let me tell you, Oh I miss it. They babied
- 14:46Speaker 5: me so much, like ugh, I mean, and they still.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Like got to get out.
- 14:50Speaker 5: You still feel like luxury, like you're still baby to
- 14:53Speaker 5: an extent. It's just not like you know, The Bachelor's
- 14:57Speaker 5: just it's the greatest.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Some we I've talked about kind of as The Bachelor
- 15:01Speaker 2: takes this new leap and I don't want to get
- 15:03Speaker 2: into it too much, but they take this too new
- 15:06Speaker 2: leap into this whole new season of different production and
- 15:09Speaker 2: different team members. You know, the concept of less production
- 15:13Speaker 2: kind of that less influence. Did you feel like it
- 15:16Speaker 2: was helpful for the story arc of the show to
- 15:20Speaker 2: have less kind of producer involvement or do you think
- 15:24Speaker 2: having more kind of micro management production every day was
- 15:29Speaker 2: something that's better for the show.
- 15:31Speaker 4: I think that it's not a clear answer. I think
- 15:35Speaker 4: maybe like a little bit of both. Its true.
- 15:36Speaker 5: I think that it would be like our show, if
- 15:39Speaker 5: you took all the footage and looked at it, you
- 15:40Speaker 5: would be able to prove like you don't need producer
- 15:43Speaker 5: involvement because these people are going to do it themselves.
- 15:46Speaker 5: They're going to find a way because there was I mean,
- 15:49Speaker 5: this show could have been a villainous show, like we
- 15:51Speaker 5: all were yelling at each other.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I mean, we're all acting in saying at.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Some point, so we're you know, this is a lot
- 15:56Speaker 5: of money and we're all not getting along. But it
- 16:00Speaker 5: came out like with all of our best, funniest moments,
- 16:03Speaker 5: which help us all feel happy about the you know,
- 16:05Speaker 5: experience and like love each other more, et cetera. But
- 16:09Speaker 5: I do think that there was times where, I mean,
- 16:12Speaker 5: there were times where Omrosa was orchestrating, she was producing
- 16:15Speaker 5: stuff like doodles and Athena's date. That's because Omrosa is
- 16:20Speaker 5: a pro and she knows that to make a television
- 16:23Speaker 5: sometimes you need to produce some things. So she's like,
- 16:26Speaker 5: why don't we set up a date for you guys, Like,
- 16:28Speaker 5: let's have a date. So when you have the veterans
- 16:32Speaker 5: or whatever, the reality TV veterans, we know how it works,
- 16:35Speaker 5: and we'll make our own moments. We'll make we'll produce
- 16:38Speaker 5: our own things, essentially because we want airtime. And if
- 16:41Speaker 5: you have a brain and you watch reality TV, you
- 16:44Speaker 5: can see like what's going to get you airtime? Especially
- 16:46Speaker 5: if you reflect on your past seasons or past whatever.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Let's dive into the show a little bit. Got to
- 16:52Speaker 2: get out again. UH is on Hulu. Every episode is there.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It premiered April eleventh. You went into this thing and
- 17:01Speaker 2: you said at the beginning, I said, why did you
- 17:02Speaker 2: do it? And you like, I need the money. I
- 17:05Speaker 2: want the money. I guess it was what you said.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Did you think you could win this when you walked
- 17:10Speaker 2: into that house?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Uh?
- 17:12Speaker 5: I mean like no, Like I always just think no,
- 17:15Speaker 5: like there's not a chance. But I'm like, maybe I
- 17:18Speaker 5: there always could be a chance. So yeah, I But
- 17:21Speaker 5: I also I like to I set the bar as
- 17:25Speaker 5: low as possible. I expect the worst because then anything
- 17:28Speaker 5: else is better. So every time I go into a situation,
- 17:31Speaker 5: I expect the worst out of it. Like I'm gonna
- 17:34Speaker 5: no one's gonna want to work with me, and I'm
- 17:36Speaker 5: going to be isolated.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I'm expecting.
- 17:38Speaker 5: So when that happens, because it does happen to me,
- 17:40Speaker 5: I'm okay, because it's like I already knew that this
- 17:43Speaker 5: would happen. So I'm not like having a mental breakdown.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Or blah blah blah.
- 17:46Speaker 5: I'm just like, well, I under it makes sense. I
- 17:49Speaker 5: don't have any excess strategies. Why would they want to
- 17:52Speaker 5: work with me?
- 18:03Speaker 2: You're the type of person. Also, though you have low
- 18:06Speaker 2: expectations for your own performance, I also would assume though
- 18:11Speaker 2: from getting to know you a little bit, you don't
- 18:13Speaker 2: have a lot of expectations for others in terms of
- 18:17Speaker 2: negative expectations for them. You're not a judgmental person. And
- 18:22Speaker 2: so when you walked in the house you see the
- 18:25Speaker 2: cast members, especially the ones you recognized. Who surprised you
- 18:30Speaker 2: the most when the final day happened on who you
- 18:35Speaker 2: like the best outside of Susan and Omerosa, because you've
- 18:38Speaker 2: already mentioned them and you love them and they're great,
- 18:40Speaker 2: Well put them on a pedestal. We knew they would
- 18:42Speaker 2: be there. Who else kind of surprised you the most
- 18:45Speaker 2: for how you got along with them and how you
- 18:47Speaker 2: kind of function with them in the house.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Well like a spoiler alert, I mean, she leaves early.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Cynthia leaves early. But when Cynthia was there, me and
- 18:58Speaker 5: Cynthia Bailey, I had a great relationship with her because
- 19:01Speaker 5: she was always watching the button and the button was
- 19:03Speaker 5: right outside my bedroom, so I was constantly just talking
- 19:06Speaker 5: to her and I gave her a little bear too
- 19:09Speaker 5: that I made for her. So I really got along
- 19:12Speaker 5: with her, and I really she was a very like
- 19:14Speaker 5: calmbing presence for me in the house too. She was
- 19:17Speaker 5: everyone else is acting insane and she's being normal in
- 19:20Speaker 5: a human being and is awesome. And also they're someone
- 19:27Speaker 5: who was a reality TV rookie. Shane he's the MMA fighter.
- 19:36Speaker 5: I really really like that guy. I think he's with
- 19:40Speaker 5: a girl, Lindsay from the show. They're still together now
- 19:43Speaker 5: and they're wonderful. I love them both. I love them both.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Did they come on to the show together.
- 19:47Speaker 5: No, I know, they like actually real life romance. I know,
- 19:51Speaker 5: I know, and so I think that I really like them.
- 19:56Speaker 5: I just think Shane is just a great guy, and
- 19:59Speaker 5: I think Lindsay's I mean, she's super model, she's perfect,
- 20:02Speaker 5: and she's Miss Earth. She's wonderful. They're great, you know, celebrities.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Vow you know, I love I love Val. Val vows
- 20:10Speaker 5: like family to me now in a weird way. We
- 20:11Speaker 5: all kind of are family in a weird way. But
- 20:13Speaker 5: like I grew very close to Val.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Was there anybody who didn't like.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yeah, but I am. We're not supposed to talk bad
- 20:21Speaker 4: about our cast mates.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Oh I'm not a huge I'm not a listen, Okay,
- 20:26Speaker 5: Spencer Pratt America's sweetheart.
- 20:29Speaker 6: All right?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Is that what we call him?
- 20:31Speaker 4: That's what he is now.
- 20:32Speaker 5: He's America's sweetheart right now, and he's in and he
- 20:35Speaker 5: deserves every good thing.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Coming to him right now.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Heidi stunning icon legend. But me, me and Spencer, we
- 20:43Speaker 5: don't get along too well for too long.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I don't think that's saying anything bad about your cast mates.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I just think it's saying, hey, you two aren't seeing
- 20:50Speaker 2: eye to eye. Who knows who's right and wrong? You
- 20:53Speaker 2: just aren't, you know, making it work. And that's okay.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That's life.
- 20:58Speaker 5: That's why I say all the time, it's okay, it's
- 21:00Speaker 5: okay not to like people. Like if you watch the show,
- 21:03Speaker 5: you'll see at one point he's in my hiding in
- 21:05Speaker 5: my room and I say not my room, not in
- 21:08Speaker 5: my room, because he was hiding in there as I
- 21:10Speaker 5: was talking about him, and then I found him in there,
- 21:13Speaker 5: and I'm like, you've.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Got to be getting me.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good. See, this is why people need to
- 21:18Speaker 2: watch this show. These moments.
- 21:20Speaker 5: There's so many moments unbelievably funny, unbelievably funny, and like,
- 21:24Speaker 5: oh my gosh.
- 21:25Speaker 4: A lot of the time it's Susan. It's Susan.
- 21:27Speaker 2: She's just kind of a clown. She's just always is
- 21:30Speaker 2: making people laugh, bringing the joy. She still to this day.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I've probably hung out with Susan ten times. I don't
- 21:37Speaker 2: think I've ever stayed up later than her. I think
- 21:40Speaker 2: she consistently parties harder than anybody else every time.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Wow, he couldn't party in the house if she was
- 21:48Speaker 5: out early every night.
- 21:49Speaker 4: It was a dry house.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Really.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it worked out well for me because you know,
- 21:54Speaker 5: I don't drink anymore. Yeah.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I was gonna say that's for some that's like kind
- 21:58Speaker 2: of like the way to calm down end of the day.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I know that some people wanted it,
- 22:03Speaker 5: and it's like sometimes you know, I thought maybe it
- 22:05Speaker 5: was kind of necessary for reality TV, but no, this show,
- 22:10Speaker 5: I'm it's just proof that you don't you don't need
- 22:12Speaker 5: the producers, you don't need the alcohol, and you just
- 22:14Speaker 5: need to lock people up in a house together. And
- 22:17Speaker 5: also like no eliminations, so like you're not forced to leave,
- 22:21Speaker 5: like you're not like worried about getting.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Cut, you know what I mean.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Yeah, so like everyone's acting up because they don't care
- 22:27Speaker 5: if you like them or not.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yeah, the themselves, like there is no alliances really even
- 22:33Speaker 2: need to be built right.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Or they're built quickly because you got to figure out
- 22:36Speaker 5: like if somebody if you have an exit strategy, somebody
- 22:38Speaker 5: else has an exit strategy, but not everyone does, so
- 22:40Speaker 5: like you're bestie that your partner might not have one, so.
- 22:43Speaker 4: You need to team up with somebody else, so you
- 22:44Speaker 4: normally wouldn't.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Work with it's well even how like describe the energy
- 22:49Speaker 2: in the house then, like without any alcohol, without any eliminations,
- 22:53Speaker 2: with rookies and all stars in a mansion, what was
- 22:59Speaker 2: the energy like in the house kind of if you
- 23:01Speaker 2: can from day one and then when you finally left,
- 23:04Speaker 2: like did that energy change at all?
- 23:06Speaker 5: Yes, So day one, it was very excited, like especially
- 23:11Speaker 5: like these rookies, they're so pumped to be on DV.
- 23:13Speaker 4: You know, they're like the cameras, the mics. Everyone's so excited.
- 23:17Speaker 5: That probably lasted for a couple of days until someone
- 23:21Speaker 5: escaped with a spoiler alert, And when that happened, everybody
- 23:26Speaker 5: locked in and like for a few days it was
- 23:31Speaker 5: terror in the house, Like everyone was on edge, mad, fighting,
- 23:37Speaker 5: pissed off because I think that someone escaped is what happened.
- 23:41Speaker 5: And also there I guess there was like a Rockstar
- 23:43Speaker 5: energy drink sponsorship because you got all these Rockstar energy drinks.
- 23:46Speaker 5: These people are going nuts. Susan's doing cartwheels. She drank
- 23:49Speaker 5: this rock Star and she's doing cart wheels. People are screaming,
- 23:52Speaker 5: I didn't drink one because I'm like, I know that's
- 23:55Speaker 5: not going to be good for me.
- 23:56Speaker 4: I've already got anxiety.
- 23:58Speaker 5: And so once everyone stopped drinking rock Stars and everyone's
- 24:01Speaker 5: stopped being mad, like the towards the end, they start
- 24:04Speaker 5: doing more stuff to the house, like boarding up the
- 24:07Speaker 5: windows and stuff like that, and the money is getting higher.
- 24:11Speaker 5: So it's everyone is so intense, like everyone's running around constantly.
- 24:17Speaker 4: I mean, this is I'm not kidding you.
- 24:19Speaker 5: At least every five minutes, you hear where's Rashad?
- 24:22Speaker 4: Where's Rashod?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Because Rashad's the fastest one, and so everyone thinks ver
- 24:26Speaker 5: Shad's gonna escape, So like every five minutes, everyone's gotta
- 24:29Speaker 5: find eyes on the shot who sees we're shod? And
- 24:30Speaker 5: Ie got eyes on a shod, where's he at? And
- 24:34Speaker 5: we're literally like this like this Franci running around just
- 24:38Speaker 5: following each other like people, we hadn't talked to you
- 24:40Speaker 5: the whole time, hardly, I'm following them shamelessly everywhere they
- 24:44Speaker 5: go to make sure they're not escaping.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Like it was crazy defense.
- 24:48Speaker 6: It was.
- 24:48Speaker 5: We were all freaking out the whole time. Like there
- 24:52Speaker 5: was not a second of relaxing that day.
- 24:54Speaker 4: It was. It was fun though, like.
- 24:56Speaker 5: We were all anytime we would be get the button
- 24:58Speaker 5: on someone, We're like screaming at the top of our lungs.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Like it was. It was great.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I mean, how do you have any privacy then? If
- 25:04Speaker 2: that's the kind of energy that's existing, Say you got
- 25:06Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom and you want to take
- 25:08Speaker 2: a good ten minutes to relax, were there people looking
- 25:11Speaker 2: for you?
- 25:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 5: There's actually a point on the show where Spencer's like, Demmy,
- 25:14Speaker 5: because I'm in the bathroom. He's like, Dimmy, can you
- 25:16Speaker 5: come watch the button? And I'm like, I'm in the
- 25:18Speaker 5: bath sorry that it Actually it doesn't show it on
- 25:22Speaker 5: the show, but like in the house that I was
- 25:24Speaker 5: a huge, huge suspicion and everyone thought that I was
- 25:29Speaker 5: doing something, especially this one night no one could find me.
- 25:33Speaker 5: And after this night, like people just were so suspicious
- 25:36Speaker 5: of me. The whole time I was in the bathtub,
- 25:38Speaker 5: like that was where I was and no one ever checked.
- 25:41Speaker 5: And like anytime after that, like say I would go
- 25:43Speaker 5: to the bathroom and I'd be gone for a little
- 25:46Speaker 5: too long.
- 25:47Speaker 6: I'm pooping, yeah, and.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Then I come back and everyone's like, oh my god,
- 25:50Speaker 4: there you are. Oh my god, we thought you were good.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Look like it was the for me.
- 25:57Speaker 5: I've never had an exit strategy this whole Okay, I'm
- 26:01Speaker 5: not the one to worry about, not me, but it
- 26:04Speaker 5: would it worked out if I did have one.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean okay, So as we close up here,
- 26:10Speaker 2: Got to Get Out is a show that you're encouraging
- 26:12Speaker 2: everybody watch that. You're saying, it's a fun energy, it's
- 26:15Speaker 2: a funny show. It's lighthearted there, drama is not the focus.
- 26:19Speaker 5: There is still some drama though, Like there is actually
- 26:22Speaker 5: like this really juicy relationship drama in there that like
- 26:25Speaker 5: I didn't even know how bad it was, like how
- 26:27Speaker 5: like crazy they got like, oh my gosh, So that
- 26:31Speaker 5: was that was very interesting. That was tea. That was
- 26:34Speaker 5: that was tea for me to see.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That's fun to see. That's fun. When you're on reality television.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You're like, I'm getting to witness something in person that
- 26:40Speaker 2: people are gonna love to watch back when it airs.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Oh Demmy, what a good person to have on this show.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I cannot think of a better all star than Demmy
- 26:52Speaker 2: coming on Got to Get It Out or Got to
- 26:55Speaker 2: Get Out? Demmy? If they ask you again, so I
- 26:59Speaker 2: was a marker for the show, and how you feel
- 27:01Speaker 2: about it if they ask you again to come back,
- 27:04Speaker 2: if they're doing a second season, they're like, hey, let's
- 27:06Speaker 2: bring back some actual veterans from this show. Would you
- 27:10Speaker 2: say yes?
- 27:12Speaker 4: Absolutely? Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 5: I think that it's it was wonderful, The people are wonderful,
- 27:17Speaker 5: that the production team's wonderful.
- 27:20Speaker 4: It's fun.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I still love doing reality TV, even if it's like
- 27:24Speaker 5: I'm uncomfortable doing it because my gasmates I'm scared of them,
- 27:27Speaker 5: But like, I still love that I don't have any
- 27:30Speaker 5: responsibilities except for whatever I'm supposed to be doing on
- 27:33Speaker 5: that show. And I love the process. I love being
- 27:37Speaker 5: miked up on it. It's just like the whole process
- 27:38Speaker 5: of it. I'm so in awe of at all and
- 27:40Speaker 5: I love it. I think that I would always say
- 27:42Speaker 5: yes to like most reality shows.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Most Got to Get Out premiered April eleventh. It's on Hulu.
