  Speaker 1: sometimes my simple prayer is, Lord, I don't.

  Speaker 2: Want to miss you.

  Speaker 1: Whatever that means, whatever you have for me, wherever you're

  Speaker 1: leading me, I don't want to miss you. Father God,

  Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, we come before you today
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: with one sincere request.

  Speaker 2: Lord, we don't want to miss you. We don't want to.

  Speaker 1: Be so busy pursuing what we want that we overlook
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: what you've planned for us. We don't want to be
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: so distracted by the noise around us that we can't
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: recognize your voice. And God, we don't want to be
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: so determined to make something happen that we move ahead
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: of your timing. So, Father, order our steps, direct our path,

  Speaker 1: align our hearts with your will for our lives. Your

  Speaker 1: word declares in Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 that when

  Speaker 1: we trust in you with all of our hearts and
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: acknowledge you in all of our ways, you will direct
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: our path. So, Lord, we surrender our plans. We surrender
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: our ambition, our relationships. our opportunities and our futures to you.

  Speaker 1: If there's a door you don't want us to walk through, God,

  Speaker 1: give us the discernment to recognize it. If there's a

  Speaker 1: relationship that will pull us away from your purpose, give
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: us the courage to establish boundaries. If there's an opportunity
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: that looks good but is not good for us, help us.

  Speaker 2: Not to be blinded by the appearance.

  Speaker 1: And if you open a door that requires us to

  Speaker 1: step outside of our comfort zone, give us the faith.

  Speaker 2: To walk through that door.

  Speaker 1: Lord, we don't want to miss the people that you've

  Speaker 1: assigned to help us. The lessons that you're trying to

  Speaker 1: teach us, the opportunities that.

  Speaker 2: You place right in front of us.

  Speaker 1: Don't let pride keep us from receiving correction. Don't let

  Speaker 1: fear keep us from obeying you. Don't let impatience cause

  Speaker 1: us to settle for something.

  Speaker 2: You never intended for us.

  Speaker 1: Oh, Father, quiet the voices of comparison and confusion and

  Speaker 1: insecurity and outside pressure. God, help us to stop measuring

  Speaker 1: our journey by somebody else's progress. Remind us that you

  Speaker 1: are doing something new in us. And God, what you

  Speaker 1: have for us doesn't have to look.

  Speaker 2: Like what you've done for somebody else. Oh, Lord.

  Speaker 1: When we make a mistake, help us to recognize it.

  Speaker 1: Repent and realign ourselves with you. Keep us humble enough

  Speaker 1: to be corrected and willing to change direction when necessary. God,

  Speaker 1: we don't want to be so afraid of missing you

  Speaker 1: that we become paralyzed.

  Speaker 2: We want to trust you enough to.

  Speaker 1: Move when you lead and wait when you say wait.

  Speaker 1: Your word says in John 10, 27, my sheep hear

  Speaker 1: my voice and I know them and they're going to

  Speaker 1: follow me. So Father, make us sensitive to your leading
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: through your word, through wise counsel, through prayer, through the
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: guidance of the Holy Spirit and above all, Lord, we
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: don't just want your blessing. We want your presence. We
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: don't just want you to bless our plans. We want
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: our plans to align with your purpose. God, don't let
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: us miss the lesson in the waiting, the wisdom in
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: the correction, the opportunity in the transition, or the purpose
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: in the season. Oh, God, lead us, Lord. Correct us, Lord.

  Speaker 1: Prepare us, Lord. And whenever and wherever you lead, give
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: us the courage to follow in Jesus' name.
