September 30th
Pop, glam rock, R&B and music history from the radio era come together in today’s episode of The Music Dial, with stories connected to September 30.
We remember Johnny Mathis and Marc Bolan, revisit the launch of BBC Radio 1, celebrate T-Pain’s birthday, and look back at Mariah Carey making chart history when Fantasy debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
One date, several generations, and music stretching from classic pop and glam rock to 2000s R&B and one of the biggest pop milestones of the 1990s.
