Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Crypto CLARITY Act Deadline Sparks Panic Sell-Off!!!🔥🚨
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Clarity deadline is here and it is all coming in
- 0:03Speaker 1: versus crypto today. We'll break it down. It's going to
- 0:05Speaker 1: be a good one. Let's get into it quickly when
- 0:07Speaker 1: you're thinking about where you should trade your crypto, because
- 0:10Speaker 1: right now there's a lot of people entering, going I'm
- 0:12Speaker 1: buying this because we've never seen bitcoin at these prices.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Go over to Uphold use our link down below. And
- 0:19Speaker 1: one of the reasons that you guys should do that,
- 0:21Speaker 1: and this is something that I think is important, is
- 0:23Speaker 1: your money is one hundred percent reserved. You also get
- 0:27Speaker 1: assets and liabilities published in real time. Another thing that
- 0:30Speaker 1: Upholds does is they don't lend out your funds. So
- 0:34Speaker 1: if you're looking to leap into a new exchange, Uphold
- 0:38Speaker 1: is the one. Check it out. Use our link down below.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It's going to give you some special offers. Now let's
- 0:42Speaker 1: go over to a couple of points I want to
- 0:44Speaker 1: lead off with, and of course that is the Clarity Act.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Here's Mike Belshee. White House has set an end to
- 0:49Speaker 1: February deadline for stable coin Yields agreement. The clock is ticking.
- 0:54Speaker 1: The industry needs clear rules and fast. Stable coins are
- 0:57Speaker 1: a bridge to trad fy for crypto and getting it
- 0:59Speaker 1: right matters. I agree with Belshie in the sense that
- 1:01Speaker 1: we got to get it right. What I am concerned
- 1:05Speaker 1: with is how the White House is going to be
- 1:07Speaker 1: able to get the Dems to come across the aisle
- 1:10Speaker 1: to vote this through. That is going to be the
- 1:13Speaker 1: challenge that David Sachs and his team are going to
- 1:16Speaker 1: be faced. Now there's a lot brewing that could be
- 1:19Speaker 1: actually maybe going in that direction. I want to go
- 1:22Speaker 1: to the first clip. This is Cynthia Lummis. Take a look.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You lost a big window right after Brian Armstrong from
- 1:30Speaker 2: Coinbase complained about the markup.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Well, good morning, Maria. We did loose that window. But
- 1:38Speaker 3: Senator Thune, the Majority leader, has assured us that even
- 1:44Speaker 3: though now we're going to have to defer into the spring,
- 1:48Speaker 3: that he will reserve time on the Senate schedule, which
- 1:51Speaker 3: is very hard to get for later this spring. We
- 1:55Speaker 3: had scheduled a markup in the Banking Committee, but the
- 1:58Speaker 3: day before we had to pull it off the agenda,
- 2:02Speaker 3: not because just of what Coinbase had said about it,
- 2:07Speaker 3: but because there was other concern and you just mentioned
- 2:11Speaker 3: one of the big ones, and that is the banks
- 2:14Speaker 3: and some of the credit unions have some members of
- 2:17Speaker 3: the committee concerned that they will lose deposits.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Man, she is concerned. There's a lot of concerning things
- 2:26Speaker 1: to say there. And of course I don't know. I
- 2:30Speaker 1: just don't think she has much pull anymore. I don't
- 2:32Speaker 1: know why people are even talking to this lady about this.
- 2:34Speaker 1: The people that are going to make decisions are the
- 2:36Speaker 1: lobbies and how this is going to organize with the
- 2:39Speaker 1: major banks and the major crypto companies. These are talking
- 2:42Speaker 1: puppets right now. That's as far as it goes. You
- 2:45Speaker 1: are not welcome on our show. Mike Novogratz has something
- 2:48Speaker 1: to say about this, Listen to him.
- 2:50Speaker 4: It'll happen over the next you know, one to four weeks.
- 2:53Speaker 4: And so I'm probably seventy seventy five percent chance. People
- 2:57Speaker 4: have worked for eighteen months on this damn thing. City alumus.
- 3:01Speaker 4: This is her last term. This is her signature, signature piece, right.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Tim Scott, who runs the Banking Committee, has got a
- 3:09Speaker 4: lot of political capital tied up in this. Senators have
- 3:12Speaker 4: a lot of ego, just like hedge fund managers. But
- 3:15Speaker 4: the Dems wonder off the table. The crypto pack was
- 3:17Speaker 4: flexing its muscle. They actually printed, Hey, we have one
- 3:20Speaker 4: hundred and ninety five million dollars a dry powder. That's
- 3:23Speaker 4: a war chest. Right, Remember Elon changed the whole election
- 3:26Speaker 4: with two hundred and fifty million. Nobody wants that pointed
- 3:28Speaker 4: at him. That's a bazooka.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Well, he is right, and the Bozuka is definitely coming,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I think for sure. But you've got to look at this.
- 3:38Speaker 1: US banks now increase the Washington lobby spending by about
- 3:42Speaker 1: twelve percent, and of course this is obviously geared toward
- 3:46Speaker 1: trying to defend for the banking industry. We could be
- 3:49Speaker 1: at an existential threat for banks in general. All right,
- 3:52Speaker 1: So this is Tim Scott just an alignment, a little
- 3:56Speaker 1: bit more of a historical article. But right there, as
- 3:58Speaker 1: you'll see, he's received more than five point three million
- 4:01Speaker 1: in campaign donations from banking, securities and investment interests in
- 4:05Speaker 1: two thousand and nine. This is back in Then where's
- 4:07Speaker 1: he at today? Well, let's take a look right over
- 4:09Speaker 1: here to open secrets. We'll go further in eighteen million.
- 4:13Speaker 1: My goodness, let's go into that and take a look.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, we've got all of the contributors They're
- 4:19Speaker 1: lined up as if they are ready to go in
- 4:23Speaker 1: and fight against crypto in general. I think that's the
- 4:25Speaker 1: point I'm getting at, as these guys are all compromised.
- 4:29Speaker 1: They're compromised. This is boiling down to who is paying
- 4:31Speaker 1: the most to get this done. I want to go
- 4:33Speaker 1: to one more clip because this of course gets into
- 4:36Speaker 1: Vlad talking a little bit more about how this market
- 4:39Speaker 1: could shift so quickly. Take a look.
- 4:42Speaker 5: At first, they sort of weren't taking us very seriously.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Our customers don't really like mobile trading. They prefer to
- 4:49Speaker 5: pay commissions. It was a lot of just like like
- 4:52Speaker 5: how blocked the service soul right, And then what happened
- 4:54Speaker 5: was in twenty nineteen they had to scramble and pretty
- 4:58Speaker 5: much all of our competitors had realized within a period
- 5:02Speaker 5: of a couple of weeks that they had to replicate
- 5:05Speaker 5: our business model. I'd never seen anything like that. I
- 5:07Speaker 5: didn't think it was possible, But like one after the other,
- 5:10Speaker 5: within the span of a couple of weeks, all of
- 5:13Speaker 5: our big competitors replicated our business model. And what happened
- 5:17Speaker 5: was TDM, ror Trade and E Trade. Their stocks went
- 5:20Speaker 5: down by like thirty five percent in one day. I
- 5:23Speaker 5: mean it was a blood bath, all right.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So what he's getting at is that era of basically
- 5:32Speaker 1: zero fee trading reconstructed how Wall Street was being done.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's what we're facing right now with crypto. It's going
- 5:40Speaker 1: to reconstruct the entire banking industry, and the banks that
- 5:43Speaker 1: are not ready and are not ready to innovate are
- 5:46Speaker 1: the ones who are going to get left behind. Whether
- 5:48Speaker 1: or not we have stable coin yield or not. The
- 5:51Speaker 1: point is is that crypto enabled banks are going to
- 5:54Speaker 1: be the only way they survive. We're going to see
- 5:56Speaker 1: a blood bath. I think on all the banking stocks,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you're probably going to see a repeat of what Vlad
- 6:01Speaker 1: was talking about there. Here's one of the banks that's
- 6:03Speaker 1: already been the first casualty of twenty twenty six. As
- 6:07Speaker 1: we start to see more now, the question is is
- 6:09Speaker 1: how many more will be brewing before we start to
- 6:12Speaker 1: see more and more starting to go into maybe a
- 6:16Speaker 1: hit on where banks are heading, and that might be down.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So it's not necessarily that they can't get stable gons.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I think the fact that crypto innovation is going to
- 6:24Speaker 1: be the thing that takes them out, not stable coin yields.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Going forward, don't forget. Robinhood has more announcements coming up
- 6:31Speaker 1: here on March fourth, make sure and check that out.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I anticipate they're going to do more in the banking
- 6:36Speaker 1: side of things. And as you see right there the
- 6:38Speaker 1: banking app. That was the credit card app like two
- 6:41Speaker 1: weeks ago, now it's the banking app. So pay attention here, guys.
- 6:45Speaker 1: We are looking at a reconstruction of where the banking
- 6:48Speaker 1: industry is going to be heading, much like what we
- 6:50Speaker 1: saw around the reconstruction of the trading industry as well.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Treasure Secretary Scott Beson addresses rumors that China is now
- 6:59Speaker 1: building digital app assets to challenge the American financial system.
- 7:02Speaker 1: This is a problem because Trump loves it when he
- 7:05Speaker 1: can go head to head with China. And one of
- 7:07Speaker 1: the things is is this now becomes a national security
- 7:11Speaker 1: threat if clarity is not put through. That is another
- 7:15Speaker 1: reason that we're going to see more pressure coming into
- 7:18Speaker 1: Congress to get this done. And it's coming fast, all right.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Just like we're looking at digital assets as a national
- 7:24Speaker 1: security for we're going forward. Look at Nvidia's CEO JENSA. Wong,
- 7:28Speaker 1: he talks about this all the way back in twenty
- 7:30Speaker 1: twenty one that AI and crypto are basically meant for
- 7:34Speaker 1: each other. And if you scan further into the article,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you can kind of see one of his statements right there,
- 7:39Speaker 1: which is he's excited about eth. Basically this is Ethereum,
- 7:42Speaker 1: which is established itself as the leader here. That is
- 7:45Speaker 1: one of the cornerstones of what we'll see in the
- 7:48Speaker 1: development of AI. I want to go to a clip
- 7:50Speaker 1: to just show you where we're heading on AI. Take
- 7:53Speaker 1: a look, and.
- 7:54Speaker 6: A developer used Claude to, you know, in an open
- 7:58Speaker 6: source way, develop his own AI agent, which was originally
- 8:02Speaker 6: called Claudebot and then was called Moltbot and is now
- 8:05Speaker 6: called open claud. Okay, another guy gets an idea, Hey,
- 8:08Speaker 6: I'm going to use this Claude AI agent to start
- 8:13Speaker 6: what is essentially Reddit, but just for AI agents. They
- 8:17Speaker 6: can post whatever they want and humans can only observe.
- 8:21Speaker 6: This thing took off. Okay, some of the.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Time they're not doing what you say, and maybe it's
- 8:26Speaker 2: aligned with who you are, and sometimes maybe it's like surprising,
- 8:30Speaker 2: So there's like some risk, there's some intrigue, there's some mystery,
- 8:33Speaker 2: there's some drama. I think that's what's capturing people's attention.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Nobody's ever done that before. This is my vision. It's
- 8:39Speaker 2: like Tamagatchi eight thousand Pokemon, you know, times one thousand.
- 8:44Speaker 1: All right, Well, there you have it. The reason that's
- 8:46Speaker 1: important is because AI is going to be intersecting blockchain
- 8:50Speaker 1: and blockchain to AI. One of the things that we
- 8:53Speaker 1: have talked about before here on the show with Yachtsu,
- 8:56Speaker 1: who is the author of this article Agentic Minds. He
- 8:59Speaker 1: goes into a couple of points here. We believe this
- 9:01Speaker 1: is a very powerful path to mass adoption. And that's
- 9:04Speaker 1: in reference because most users managing wallets in a world
- 9:07Speaker 1: of defire are very unfamiliar and it's very strange. The
- 9:10Speaker 1: agents are eventually going to be going to wallet level transactions.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's something that they have not been able to do
- 9:16Speaker 1: so far. So Animal com Minds is being launched. They're
- 9:19Speaker 1: launching this with some teams. They're going into the AIMI
- 9:22Speaker 1: that basically is going to go out and support you
- 9:25Speaker 1: in basically your crypto journey. And this is most likely
- 9:27Speaker 1: going to find its way in all financial products, especially
- 9:31Speaker 1: the fact that we have blockchain integration into this. This
- 9:33Speaker 1: is something we've talked about for quite a while on
- 9:35Speaker 1: the show. This is coming and it's very possible this
- 9:38Speaker 1: could be more critical maybe than any other component of
- 9:42Speaker 1: where AI is intersected with blockchain in the past. So
- 9:45Speaker 1: be on the lookout there. Now, let's take a look
- 9:47Speaker 1: right here, because they could get into vault maybe management
- 9:51Speaker 1: right here. If you look at morpho effect, this is
- 9:54Speaker 1: bitwise becomes a morpho curator. Remember we had Morpho on
- 9:57Speaker 1: or Bitwise on talking about vaults and what this is
- 10:00Speaker 1: going to look like. We're going to see so many
- 10:02Speaker 1: vaults launching to basically go after these great opportunities in
- 10:07Speaker 1: terms of yield generation. Imagine an AI agentic or an
- 10:12Speaker 1: agentic agent that would be able to dive into that
- 10:15Speaker 1: and get you the best results across your entire portfolio.
- 10:18Speaker 1: This is coming, guys. It's going to be easier and
- 10:20Speaker 1: easier to be able to basically make money out there
- 10:24Speaker 1: on the markets in general. And they're talking about this
- 10:27Speaker 1: effect of what we get in terms of virality. We
- 10:30Speaker 1: could see another viral moment coming out of Pokemon. Remember,
- 10:34Speaker 1: let's go into this. Pokemon became an ultimate test of
- 10:37Speaker 1: AI's intelligence. They've used it there, They've used it right
- 10:40Speaker 1: over here in terms of training for the Pokemon Go.
- 10:44Speaker 1: They've used it here. This is in reference to how
- 10:48Speaker 1: AI is being used inside the game. The point is
- 10:51Speaker 1: you understand this is starting to accelerate, and if you
- 10:54Speaker 1: get into these viral cultures that of course gaming has
- 10:57Speaker 1: really represented, it's a big opportunity. Just look at this
- 11:00Speaker 1: Pokemon benchmark. This is GPT five again being trained on
- 11:05Speaker 1: guess what Pokemon. So just a reminder remember that Pokemon
- 11:09Speaker 1: on Suey was a question mark that we talked about
- 11:12Speaker 1: last summer. Has not acquired just yet. But is something
- 11:17Speaker 1: brewing for the sweet network around Pokemon. I don't know.
- 11:21Speaker 1: They keep promising. I don't know if it's going to
- 11:22Speaker 1: happen or not, but they do have one thing that
- 11:24Speaker 1: is happening on February twenty seven, that of course will
- 11:27Speaker 1: be one of the big announcement days, which is Pokemon Day.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Maybe there's gonna be something that goes along with that.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Let me go to a clip real quick, because this
- 11:35Speaker 1: will get into a little bit more about maybe tom
- 11:38Speaker 1: Lee aligning Ethereum as the AI chain.
- 11:43Speaker 7: Take a look the second story arc benefiting Ethereum though
- 11:47Speaker 7: is ai. AI has principally been trained on like Internet
- 11:51Speaker 7: and I don't know social medium, but it hasn't been
- 11:54Speaker 7: in the real world because it hasn't ingested us as
- 11:58Speaker 7: we've moved and physically moved or even have independent products.
- 12:02Speaker 7: That's a vast amount of new information for AI models
- 12:06Speaker 7: to ingest in store. But then now you have to
- 12:09Speaker 7: be sure that all the instructions being sent back to
- 12:12Speaker 7: the robot are proof of the originator. You know another words,
- 12:15Speaker 7: you need a token. I mean lms use tokens anyways,
- 12:18Speaker 7: but now you need like a token that interacts across chains.
- 12:21Speaker 7: And that's where AI is going to build on ethereum,
- 12:24Speaker 7: because you essentially need what they call proof of human
- 12:27Speaker 7: We need to prove that this lawnmower got a real
- 12:29Speaker 7: instruction from another chain or another vendor, and so that
- 12:34Speaker 7: is all being built on ethereum.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Let me know what you guys think, Do you think
- 12:39Speaker 1: eth or We're going to see other chains out there
- 12:41Speaker 1: that benefit from the integration of where AI agents are
- 12:45Speaker 1: going to start to move, especially around these next generation
- 12:48Speaker 1: financial products going forward. Well, if you think about Kathy Woods,
- 12:51Speaker 1: she believes that maybe BM and R is the place,
- 12:54Speaker 1: so she continues to put more investment into BM and R,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and of course we know that being the law are
- 13:00Speaker 1: just data out there and one to watch very closely
- 13:03Speaker 1: because it is very similar to micro strategy in a
- 13:05Speaker 1: way for ethereum. Keeping a close eye on that one
- 13:09Speaker 1: as it continues to really cause a problem. So don't
- 13:12Speaker 1: forget that BM and R partnered with Jimmy. This is,
- 13:15Speaker 1: of course, is mister Beests. This is all about super Bowl.
- 13:18Speaker 1: And of course remember mister Beest proposed doing a big,
- 13:21Speaker 1: huge super Bowl ad and he had a big partner
- 13:23Speaker 1: behind this, and the idea was maybe create something that
- 13:28Speaker 1: would maybe be the biggest ad ever in super Bowl history.
- 13:30Speaker 1: We're gonna be watching. He had a cryptic riddle at
- 13:33Speaker 1: the end of this clip right here, which basically said, hey,
- 13:37Speaker 1: we just fooled you into spending wasting your time. But
- 13:40Speaker 1: the point being is that this is how he operates.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I don't know if this have a correlation to crypto
- 13:46Speaker 1: or eth over super Bowl weekend, but we're going to
- 13:49Speaker 1: have it because it happens this weekend. But everybody else said, hey,
- 13:51Speaker 1: let's support bmin R in other ways. We'll just buy
- 13:54Speaker 1: some feastables right there. There's some right there. Oh those
- 13:57Speaker 1: are yummy. I want to get some of those Let's
- 13:59Speaker 1: go to another one, of course, and that is McDonald's
- 14:02Speaker 1: now surpassing eight in total market cap. I don't know, guys,
- 14:06Speaker 1: what do you think. Are we at the bottom right
- 14:08Speaker 1: now or are we having a time where we're going
- 14:11Speaker 1: to continue to see a drop on both eth and
- 14:13Speaker 1: bitcoin going forward. One thing is for sure, the Secretary
- 14:19Speaker 1: Treasury does not think that that is the case. Listen
- 14:22Speaker 1: to what he had to say.
- 14:23Speaker 3: What is your opinion about the importance of having clear
- 14:27Speaker 3: rules of the road market structure legislation in the United States.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Uh, look, I think that it's impossible to proceed without it.
- 14:36Speaker 5: We have to get this clarity across the finish line.
- 14:40Speaker 1: There you have it impossible to proceed without it. That
- 14:43Speaker 1: is the White House talking, the guy who's pulling the
- 14:46Speaker 1: strings of what's happening in DC right now. And we
- 14:50Speaker 1: are there, guys. This is the final countdown going forward.
- 14:53Speaker 1: If you look at polymarket, one last thing, and it
- 14:57Speaker 1: appears that the trend is heading up. The real question
- 15:01Speaker 1: is what type of concessions are being made in DC.
