- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. Ben Ny
- 0:08Speaker 2: are together today and that is fantastic, especially since today's headlines.
- 0:14Speaker 3: They're big.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We ought lots of big headlines and this is not
- 0:17Speaker 2: me exaggerating for the sake of entertainment.
- 0:21Speaker 4: They are big headlines. We have some like action packed headlines.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Let's start with this one. Speaking of big, let's talk
- 0:28Speaker 4: about Zach Clark.
- 0:30Speaker 3: What does Zach Clark have to do with big?
- 0:33Speaker 4: I don't know, Okay, He's from New York and that
- 0:37Speaker 4: kind of thing. Caitlin Bristo discusses a possible third engagement
- 0:42Speaker 4: as these Zach Clark romance rumors they kind of keep
- 0:46Speaker 4: swirling around.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So what she said when she was on the Not Skinny,
- 0:52Speaker 2: Not Fat podcast with Amanda she said, like I went
- 0:56Speaker 2: through a hoe fees back in my twenties. Caitlin and
- 0:58Speaker 2: Vancouver wash. She goes, and now this is actually a
- 1:04Speaker 2: big reveal. Why wouldn't she do this on her own podcast?
- 1:06Speaker 2: She goes, Now, I'm on this third possible engagement if
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna finally talk about someone out loud after However, long,
- 1:17Speaker 2: I hope this is the person. She has been split
- 1:21Speaker 2: from Jason for three years, which is so crazy. She
- 1:27Speaker 2: said that her ego holds her back because I'm like,
- 1:30Speaker 2: what if I'm in a failure? What if I'm just
- 1:32Speaker 2: gonna be a failure again in a relationship? So that's
- 1:37Speaker 2: like a really big admission. She's admitting that she is
- 1:40Speaker 2: in a relationship but she doesn't really do and that
- 1:45Speaker 2: it's on the cost of a possible engagement. And I mean,
- 1:49Speaker 2: if it goes back to as far as we think
- 1:51Speaker 2: it does. And it is weird to pretend as if
- 1:54Speaker 2: we don't actually know Caitlin in real life, but that's
- 1:56Speaker 2: what we do when it comes to.
- 2:00Speaker 3: The situation. They've been hanging out for over two years now,
- 2:07Speaker 3: two and a half years.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Ashley, I know you were just spotted at a show
- 2:13Speaker 4: in New York City with Caitlin.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Do you if there is a possibility that she is
- 2:20Speaker 4: dating Zach with all these rumors swirling around, do you
- 2:24Speaker 4: think it's a good relationship for your friend?
- 2:27Speaker 2: I think from what we know of Zach that he
- 2:29Speaker 2: is just the most like, stand up, moral, wants to
- 2:33Speaker 2: help everyone type of guy. He is a wonderful catch
- 2:37Speaker 2: for her, and he's very private, he's subdued.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I would think that they would make a lot of
- 2:44Speaker 3: sense in a balance, you know, they.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Balance each other in like a really good way. You
- 2:48Speaker 5: would think. I'd think so too.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I wonder if they are dating, so I'm always curious
- 2:53Speaker 4: about that'd be cool.
- 2:55Speaker 5: If they were. I like him both a lot.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that would make sense, and it would just be
- 2:58Speaker 2: so funny if she does end up if they are
- 3:02Speaker 2: dating with some person from Bachelor Nation in the most
- 3:05Speaker 2: twisty of ways.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, she can't get out of it.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Okay, but it would certainly mean you know how I
- 3:14Speaker 2: always say that so many of us end up with
- 3:16Speaker 2: our spouse through the show, even if it's not in
- 3:19Speaker 2: the traditional way.
- 3:20Speaker 3: That would be quite the quite the tale of while
- 3:23Speaker 3: I was supposed.
- 3:24Speaker 2: To be with somebody from Bachelor Nation, he just wasn't
- 3:27Speaker 2: on my season.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I love it.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Well.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Speaking of caitlin X's engagements leads us right into Jason
- 3:38Speaker 2: Tarctic being engaged to his girlfriend Catherine Curly. So they
- 3:43Speaker 2: announced yesterday, Monday, July thirteenth, that they are engaged. They
- 3:48Speaker 2: got engaged in looks like Europe, right, we.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Don't they did? They say where it was. Did they
- 3:56Speaker 3: tag that it looks like Europe?
- 3:58Speaker 2: And I'm assuming that maybe this happened while they were
- 4:00Speaker 2: out there for Blake's wedding, because Blake got married to
- 4:06Speaker 2: Giannina in Croatia a week or two ago.
- 4:10Speaker 5: I'm also assuming they held out on announcing this because
- 4:13Speaker 5: they didn't want to like step on Taylor Swift and
- 4:17Speaker 5: Travis Kelce's like, you know moment when.
- 4:21Speaker 2: They they wanted it to be seen. I don't think
- 4:24Speaker 2: that they wanted to step on Taylor. I think they
- 4:27Speaker 2: didn't want the headline shadowed by Taylor.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Oh okay, don't you say? One way to look at it.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I don't know that they're stepping on Taylor's toes here.
- 4:38Speaker 2: But the two of them have been together since twenty
- 4:42Speaker 2: twenty four. She is the founder of a nonprofit dog
- 4:46Speaker 2: rescue organization, Wags and Walks Rescue Nashville. And we're really
- 4:52Speaker 2: happy for them. It's it's very exciting. I'm glad that
- 4:55Speaker 2: he's found his person.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Yeah, congrats.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Have you met her?
- 5:00Speaker 4: I haven't met her yet. I've heard about her. And
- 5:04Speaker 4: I had dinner with Jason a little over a year ago.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Oh okay, and he told me about her, but I
- 5:11Speaker 4: had not met her in person. They seem like a
- 5:14Speaker 4: very happy couple together. They're living in Nashville, right, not
- 5:18Speaker 4: New York, because isn't he moved to New York.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Oh?
- 5:21Speaker 2: I thought that they were living in New York. But
- 5:24Speaker 2: maybe they'd go back and forth.
- 5:26Speaker 5: They must be going back and forth. Seems to be
- 5:28Speaker 5: the thing to do these days.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Nobody wants to live in New York, but everybody wants
- 5:31Speaker 4: to like just go there at times.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Just got a hotel room that seems cheaper.
- 5:37Speaker 4: But congratulations to them on their engagement and what a
- 5:43Speaker 4: while two headlines. Those are not headlines that we strategically
- 5:47Speaker 4: placed side by side. They just both happened this week.
- 5:51Speaker 4: And so he gets engaged and Caitlyn talks about a
- 5:53Speaker 4: third engagement, and you know.
- 5:56Speaker 5: You know, the things keep going.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The timings are But speaking of New York and Nashville,
- 6:03Speaker 2: it's like she Caitlin's been living in Nashville for years
- 6:07Speaker 2: and she just recently moved to New York for who
- 6:09Speaker 2: knows what.
- 6:11Speaker 5: It's interesting because doesn't Zach live in New York?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:14Speaker 3: I think he does.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it'd be interesting.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Okay, So bachelor lum Courtney Robertson files for divorce from
- 6:22Speaker 4: husband Roberto after eight years together. This one hurt Ashley,
- 6:27Speaker 4: I know, responded with like a I don't like this
- 6:30Speaker 4: at all. Now, divorce is never something you celebrate, I think, but.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Unless you're getting out of something very bad.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Yeah, very bad. But this was one that we just
- 6:39Speaker 5: we just don't like it one. I think it was.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Anything bad happened to Courtney. I think that's one of
- 6:47Speaker 4: the reasons. And then we've I've met the two of them.
- 6:49Speaker 4: They came to an event we did out in California,
- 6:52Speaker 4: and they were wonderful together.
- 6:55Speaker 5: So this one's a little shocking.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well, this one's really sad because I feel like Courtney
- 6:59Speaker 2: and I have kind of been on our journey of
- 7:01Speaker 2: love together. We're like single together, and we kind of
- 7:03Speaker 2: got married around the same time, starting having kids around
- 7:05Speaker 2: the same time. So we've always like related on the
- 7:09Speaker 2: chapter that we're in, and it always seemed like she
- 7:12Speaker 2: was happy, but.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And perhaps she really was. It sounds not to.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Make big assumptions, allegedly alleged assumptions, but it sounds like
- 7:22Speaker 2: there was some infidelity. The quote she does a whole
- 7:26Speaker 2: podcast episode on it. You guys if you want to
- 7:28Speaker 2: go listen to Courtney's podcast episode. But the statement is
- 7:32Speaker 2: that after learning information that irreparably damaged the trust in
- 7:37Speaker 2: our relationship ship, I made the difficult decision to file
- 7:41Speaker 2: for divorce. This one has been one of the hardest
- 7:43Speaker 2: seasons of my life, and I continue to process everything.
- 7:46Speaker 2: My focus remains on my three beautiful children. They are
- 7:49Speaker 2: and will always be my highest priority. Well, this isn't
- 7:52Speaker 2: the future that I envisioned for my family. I'm choosing
- 7:55Speaker 2: peace in a healthy, stable environment for my children.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So she also posted on the fourth July that she
- 8:01Speaker 2: was like, it's a fantastic or independence day with the
- 8:05Speaker 2: three kids. I think this was before the this was
- 8:07Speaker 2: before the announcement, so it was like a preview as
- 8:10Speaker 2: her independence from something that was not good for her.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm sure we'll have Courtney on to talk a little
- 8:18Speaker 2: bit about this in the upcoming weeks or months. But
- 8:22Speaker 2: I am actually very very sad for her and whatever
- 8:26Speaker 2: unfolded of this relationship.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a bummer. I don't like it. Speaking of
- 8:32Speaker 4: things I don't like, this is one. This is not
- 8:36Speaker 4: about me. Let me be clear, but Jared's coming this year.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Every year I plan a golf trip for about forty
- 8:45Speaker 4: of my buddies, and they range from elementary school friends,
- 8:49Speaker 4: middle school friends, high school friends, college friends, young adult friends,
- 8:52Speaker 4: work friends, to bachelor friends and people that I just
- 8:56Speaker 4: love and I want to see more of and there's
- 8:59Speaker 4: often not enough time to do it. And so this
- 9:02Speaker 4: weekend that I plan out is for that just to
- 9:04Speaker 4: get together again. This year, we're going to Big Seater
- 9:08Speaker 4: and Jared is coming. Joe was supposed to come. Joe's
- 9:14Speaker 4: a huge golfer. He picked up golf two years ago.
- 9:16Speaker 4: He loves the sport. He is addicted. He's owned more
- 9:19Speaker 4: set of clubs in the two years of playing than
- 9:21Speaker 4: I have in twenty years of playing. And a couple
- 9:26Speaker 4: of weeks ago, Joe called me and said he can't
- 9:27Speaker 4: make the golf trip this year, which I know is
- 9:29Speaker 4: a bummer for him. It's also a bummer for all
- 9:31Speaker 4: of us because he's such a good time to be around.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Because of this.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Pernuvo scanity received it's interesting, Ashley, I can talk about
- 9:39Speaker 4: this now.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Pernuvo.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So many things to talk about here about Pronovo. Go
- 9:44Speaker 3: for it.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I did it because you did it,
- 9:46Speaker 4: and you had such great things to say about it,
- 9:49Speaker 4: and so I want to invest in my health.
- 9:51Speaker 5: We did it. Jessico was supposed to do it, but
- 9:53Speaker 5: that's how we found out Jessco is pregnant.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Just so crazy.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah, she did a little.
- 10:00Speaker 4: And tests before the scan and found out she was pregnant,
- 10:02Speaker 4: so she couldn't do her test. And I really enjoyed
- 10:06Speaker 4: the process of getting my results and walking through what,
- 10:09Speaker 4: you know, life was going to look like for me.
- 10:10Speaker 4: My mom's gonna do one, and one of the reasons
- 10:13Speaker 4: she's gonna do one is because of the stories like
- 10:16Speaker 4: Joe's Ashley. You can explain the situation here. I just
- 10:21Speaker 4: want to preface it with saying when he told me,
- 10:26Speaker 4: there's a really sweet like text exchange with him where
- 10:29Speaker 4: I said, hey, like, I don't know what to say,
- 10:32Speaker 4: but I am earnestly going to be in prayer for you,
- 10:36Speaker 4: And he said, hey, like, I haven't prayed often in
- 10:39Speaker 4: a while, but I'm going to start praying to him.
- 10:41Speaker 4: They get scary what's coming up in front of him.
- 10:45Speaker 4: And we're throwing this up to a guy that we
- 10:49Speaker 4: believe can be active in this, but actually break down
- 10:53Speaker 4: what Joe found out through this scan that was supposed
- 10:56Speaker 4: to just be an at well it.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Wasn't just supposed to be an act.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I mean you, you, he and I all got partnerships
- 11:05Speaker 2: with pre Novo, which is more of an exchange situation.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Well yeah, but like you don't expecting something like this
- 11:12Speaker 4: to come out of it, and it is to not
- 11:14Speaker 4: it is a benefit for us to get it, but
- 11:17Speaker 4: it then's also to highlight the company itself through this
- 11:20Speaker 4: kind of like ad is what I'm saying is this
- 11:23Speaker 4: is a way for them the market and for us
- 11:25Speaker 4: to benefit and you don't expect it to have the results,
- 11:28Speaker 4: like he'd found out.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Jared and I have been talking about Pronovo so much lately.
- 11:32Speaker 2: We've been trying to book our own but then yesterday
- 11:35Speaker 2: I saw our own second one. We did our first
- 11:37Speaker 2: March of twenty twenty five, and then we saw Joe's
- 11:41Speaker 2: announcement yesterday, and you know, we texted him and now
- 11:44Speaker 2: Jared's like sending him funny He's like, I will send
- 11:47Speaker 2: you all the funny Seinfeld gifts to get you.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Through this as long.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Ben will send prayers, actually said prayers. Jared's gonna send
- 11:55Speaker 2: Seinfeld memes.
- 11:56Speaker 5: We need.
- 11:59Speaker 3: So pre Novo, if you guys don't.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Know is it's it's been like a kind of profound
- 12:04Speaker 2: enbacheloration because also Ali Fedotowski's husband, Kevin Mano, found out
- 12:09Speaker 2: that he had his thyroid cancer through pre Novo. So
- 12:14Speaker 2: basically it's a scan. It's it's uh in like ten
- 12:17Speaker 2: cities around America, you can go and without having a
- 12:21Speaker 2: prescription for an MRI, get an MRI and it picks
- 12:25Speaker 2: up so many things. Then you have like a one
- 12:28Speaker 2: on one consultation about what they found in your body.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I wish it was obviously something that is covered by
- 12:35Speaker 2: health insurance. That's something that is more accessible. But I
- 12:38Speaker 2: will say, for go your Starbucks runs and it.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Is a couple. It's like a for your mid body.
- 12:45Speaker 2: For me to ted, it's like twelve hundred I think,
- 12:49Speaker 2: which obviously isn't cheap, but when you think about what
- 12:53Speaker 2: it's been catching it is, it's remarkable. Our friend also
- 12:58Speaker 2: had her were removed recently because she's in her fifties,
- 13:03Speaker 2: but they found suspicious things on her ovary through the
- 13:07Speaker 2: Pronovo scan. So just in my circle, it's been Joe,
- 13:11Speaker 2: my friend, Ali's husband, my parents have theirs booked for September.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It's just a very important thing. It's it's a great
- 13:21Speaker 2: thing to.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Do if you can do it, And I think, a
- 13:24Speaker 3: guess that's all I have to say about that. But yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 3: it's it's.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Crazy find out about Joe with Joe with Joe. So
- 13:30Speaker 2: Joe has a small tumor right now, very early stages.
- 13:34Speaker 2: They don't even know if it's cancerous in his brain.
- 13:36Speaker 2: He's gonna have this is you know, this.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Is so scary.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Next week or the week after, he's going to be
- 13:42Speaker 2: having like brain surgery at Sloane Kettering, which is about
- 13:46Speaker 2: one of the best hospitals you could ever be at,
- 13:48Speaker 2: and then they'll do a biopsy on it and see
- 13:50Speaker 2: if it is cancerous and then next steps from there.
- 13:53Speaker 2: But prayers that it is not cancerous and that the
- 13:56Speaker 2: surgery goes smoothly.
- 13:58Speaker 3: And this is just like a little blip in Joe's life.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I agree, But also incredible that they found it early.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Because he doesn't have any side effects right.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Now, no, no symptoms.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He would never have known without the scan, and that's
- 14:14Speaker 2: just such a blessing.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Switching gears back to love Kelsey where ties it.
- 14:32Speaker 3: No no, no, no no.
- 14:34Speaker 2: On the Prenovo note, we got to talk about how
- 14:37Speaker 2: jess found out she was pregnant with the Pronovo scan,
- 14:40Speaker 2: and you just mentioned that, but like tell us through
- 14:42Speaker 2: the day, like tell us the story. You haven't told
- 14:45Speaker 2: us yet about the findings out that you're going to
- 14:48Speaker 2: be a dad to another girl, which is also no
- 14:51Speaker 2: surprise to me.
- 14:51Speaker 3: You are a girl dad through.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Oh we're so pumped. Yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 4: So we had these scan scheduled and part of the
- 14:57Speaker 4: scan they say, hey, you don't like, it's not a
- 15:02Speaker 4: good idea to do this if you're pregnant. And so Jessica,
- 15:05Speaker 4: right before she walked out the door, was like, Hey,
- 15:06Speaker 4: I'm just gonna take a test for peace of mind.
- 15:10Speaker 4: And I'm so glad she did. I was washing dishes
- 15:12Speaker 4: in the kitchen. I was like, hey, go ahead. Back
- 15:15Speaker 4: in the day when we were trying to get pregnant
- 15:17Speaker 4: with Wenona, she was taking tests all the time, so
- 15:21Speaker 4: this wasn't like shocking to me. It was just like
- 15:23Speaker 4: she's just peeing on sticks for fun, it felt like.
- 15:26Speaker 4: But the before the scan she did one just to
- 15:30Speaker 4: make sure and she yells at me, then I'm pregnant, and.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I said, huh, how But she was a week late.
- 15:40Speaker 4: She really wasn't. But it's not She's not like it's
- 15:45Speaker 4: like not predictable with her. You know, like I don't
- 15:47Speaker 4: know the details of how that works, but like it's
- 15:50Speaker 4: not shocking that she would be a week late.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Were you trying to get pregnant.
- 15:54Speaker 5: We weren't, not, I mean, when when this little girl
- 16:00Speaker 5: will be born, Whennie and her.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Will not even be too yeah, not even Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Twenty two months apart, and so what we really like
- 16:09Speaker 4: in a planned world, which God never you know, keeps,
- 16:12Speaker 4: those plans would have been like, hey, Jessica could have
- 16:16Speaker 4: been not pregnant for this summer. She's been either pregnant
- 16:19Speaker 4: or breastfeeding so for like the last two summers, and
- 16:22Speaker 4: she really wanted a summer where we could go on
- 16:25Speaker 4: the lake and have fun and go out, and we
- 16:28Speaker 4: were gonna come back to Indiana and Nashville and you
- 16:32Speaker 4: know when he could stay with the grandparents and her
- 16:33Speaker 4: and I could go have like cocktails and fancy dinners
- 16:37Speaker 4: and all those things. Well that was just like a
- 16:40Speaker 4: wish list. Yeah, but we you know, there'll be twenty
- 16:45Speaker 4: two months apart. Uh, that's not a bad age different.
- 16:49Speaker 3: No, that's amazing.
- 16:51Speaker 2: That's an ideal age difference, especially if you two girls.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I just I that's just so close together and being
- 16:59Speaker 2: pregnant for.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Me, yeah, that's what I would have. That's the only
- 17:03Speaker 3: reason I wouldn't have done it that close together.
- 17:06Speaker 5: But you know, with the first we got some help.
- 17:09Speaker 5: This one no help, And it's so weird for.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Us because did iui will be clear.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Yeah, when we had Winnie, we were you know, getting
- 17:20Speaker 4: doctor's appointments like once a month, it felt like, and
- 17:24Speaker 4: check ins when when it doesn't happen through assistance, they
- 17:29Speaker 4: just say like, hey, we'll see you in six months
- 17:31Speaker 4: and again in like three more months after that, Like
- 17:33Speaker 4: it's very infrequently.
- 17:36Speaker 3: The first trimester.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Yeah, we are ecstatic. It's the coolest thing. We think.
- 17:42Speaker 4: We have a name picked out already. I would have
- 17:46Speaker 4: all girls if it was up to me. I just
- 17:48Speaker 4: think it's so fun. I think little girls are the sweetest,
- 17:50Speaker 4: coolest things. Jessica really wants a boy, but obviously you
- 17:55Speaker 4: know she would be thrilled with girls too, But well,
- 18:00Speaker 4: I think having back to back girls, I think we
- 18:04Speaker 4: would try again. In fact, I'm very positive that and
- 18:09Speaker 4: if we did ever have a boy, how coolould it
- 18:12Speaker 4: would it be to have I mean, I'm an only child,
- 18:14Speaker 4: but how cool would it be to be a boy
- 18:16Speaker 4: with two older sisters. I mean that dude feels like
- 18:19Speaker 4: he would be protected, like with his life.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Well, he'd also know how to treat ladies. That's that's really.
- 18:26Speaker 5: That's an important part of that. Yeah, Okay.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Also, I'm just jealous that you have two girls there.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It's so close in age to be sisters like that.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because that's your story.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah, well we're two, we're two and a half years apart.
- 18:39Speaker 2: But it's just when you have sisters within three years, usually.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It's just like inseparable, inseparable.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Oh, it's so fun, it's so cool for us. We're
- 18:53Speaker 4: so thankful. There is a lot of emotion. But you
- 18:58Speaker 4: remember the first go around, like I had a lot
- 19:01Speaker 4: of not fear, but anxiety around it.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Yeah, about our dog.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I was worried about, you know, how I could be
- 19:08Speaker 4: as a dad and how I could operate, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 4: my job and my personal life with having a kid.
- 19:16Speaker 4: The second one is just like now it feels more exciting,
- 19:19Speaker 4: and that's fun for me. It's I've always been somebody
- 19:23Speaker 4: who when big things are coming up, I carry a
- 19:25Speaker 4: lot of like anxiety around it. And this is the
- 19:29Speaker 4: first like huge life thing that I've just felt like
- 19:34Speaker 4: excitement for and peace about. And and I'm ready. Our
- 19:39Speaker 4: life is set up for. I'm very ready, very excited
- 19:43Speaker 4: to welcome a little another little Higgins girl into the world.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So cute, So happy for you guys, really really awesome.
- 19:51Speaker 2: You guys are just the best parents, the cutest little family.
- 19:55Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Yeah, what do he helps? So thanks for asking. It's
- 20:01Speaker 4: it's a big deal, Ashley.
- 20:04Speaker 3: So how's she feeling?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Well? Okay, listen, last time you were like, oh, she's terrible,
- 20:11Speaker 2: She's terrible, and then she'll end up being like, I'm okay.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Yeah, So like, who's who's right? Who?
- 20:19Speaker 4: I think? I think I'm right. I think she's tough
- 20:23Speaker 4: and doesn't want to complain. She's feeling better now. The
- 20:28Speaker 4: first trimester is so hard on her, you know, she like,
- 20:31Speaker 4: I think she shared it publicly the other day, so
- 20:33Speaker 4: I feel good about it. But she it wasn't very
- 20:36Speaker 4: long after we found out, like she threw up in
- 20:39Speaker 4: target and so like the first one was just like
- 20:45Speaker 4: the first month was just her getting sick in the
- 20:48Speaker 4: weirdest places, having a ton of like food, a versions
- 20:52Speaker 4: instead of like being attracted to food. She had some
- 20:55Speaker 4: weird ones this time, where like at one point she
- 20:57Speaker 4: asked me to go out and get her she wanted strawberries,
- 21:01Speaker 4: peanut butter, and chocolate mixed together.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Somehow doesn't sound bad at all. I don't know what's
- 21:09Speaker 3: the aversions?
- 21:10Speaker 2: Yeah, people always say when are you cravings? The question
- 21:13Speaker 2: is what are your aversions?
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it feels like it comes and goes. I
- 21:19Speaker 4: don't know if this is a thing, but it feels
- 21:20Speaker 4: like one day or like she'll be at three o'clock
- 21:24Speaker 4: be like, hey, I'm really in the mood for a
- 21:25Speaker 4: pasta tonight, and so it's like a red sauce pasta
- 21:27Speaker 4: and then we sit down for dinner and she's like,
- 21:29Speaker 4: I can't eat it.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely not. I understand that back and forth feeling.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just a consistent like the one thing
- 21:37Speaker 4: that stayed that she likes is Cereal, so whenevery all
- 21:41Speaker 4: else fails, Cereal's been just popping off for.
- 21:46Speaker 3: How is she in handling Whinnie? How how is that?
- 21:49Speaker 3: How is being pregnant and parenting?
- 21:52Speaker 5: She's so good.
- 21:52Speaker 4: She's been with Winny now for five days alone and
- 21:55Speaker 4: they have a blast. I took Winnie for five days
- 22:00Speaker 4: and Jess went back to Denver and then.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Oh, you had five days, she had five days by herself.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I five. That's that's crossing the line too.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Is nice sometimes, Yeah, but she's she's doing really well
- 22:16Speaker 4: with Winnie. I mean when he's just one of those
- 22:18Speaker 4: kids that don't doesn't sit and so I think it's exhausting.
- 22:23Speaker 4: I'm ready to help out again. But the two of
- 22:26Speaker 4: them have a lot of fun together. They go to
- 22:28Speaker 4: the pool a lot together, so they're finding things to do.
- 22:31Speaker 4: It's it's been, honestly a lot better. At least she's
- 22:35Speaker 4: acting like it's a lot easier than I thought it
- 22:38Speaker 4: would be.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Yeah, the second one was so much easier for me.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Second pregnancy.
- 22:44Speaker 2: There's something about your body that's just like, oh yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 2: I remember how to do this.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I mean, it's not fun, but we'll do it.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Yeah. Oh, good old Jess. All right, Hey, let's go
- 22:55Speaker 5: back to these headlines.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Kelsey ware ties it Knut with Kelly with with Friends Kelsey,
- 23:00Speaker 4: Kelly Flanagan, Victoria Fuller and more by her side.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Kelsey's actually going to She moved to Europe with
- 23:08Speaker 2: her boyfriend who is now her husband, Matt Thomas. He's
- 23:11Speaker 2: a professional basketball player in the euro League. And they
- 23:16Speaker 2: announced that they were engaged about a year. Oh man,
- 23:18Speaker 2: did they get engaged to the day. They had a
- 23:21Speaker 2: year long engagement and they officially tied the knot this
- 23:25Speaker 2: weekend McKenna from Peter Season because Kelsey's was in the
- 23:30Speaker 2: four slot on Peter Season. Victoria Fuller and Kelly Flanagan
- 23:34Speaker 2: were all there, and.
- 23:37Speaker 3: The wedding looked beautiful. She looked sedunning as always, and
- 23:43Speaker 3: we're super happy for her. That girl wanted love so bad.
- 23:47Speaker 3: She was so emotional and she was such a fun
- 23:50Speaker 3: watch on Peter Season and I'm really glad it turned
- 23:53Speaker 3: out so magical for her.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah, she's one of the iconic people that didn't it
- 24:00Speaker 4: make it like super far but that you remember because yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 4: you remember, she's one of those.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely, I agree with you. And I guess that's
- 24:21Speaker 3: it for this week. It's not it no, Oh gosh,
- 24:24Speaker 3: she wants to make a headline out of me.
- 24:25Speaker 4: What so let's talk about this. This last week we
- 24:29Speaker 4: had Julia LaPlaca.
- 24:30Speaker 5: On the podcast.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Are we going to talk about this?
- 24:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:34Speaker 4: The headline reads this Peter Weber's mom calls for Bachelor
- 24:39Speaker 4: alum's NBA's to be lifted after Julie LaPlaca's romance reveal.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Barbe's comment is, let Peter tell his story.
- 24:50Speaker 3: What did she famously say? What was her famous line?
- 24:54Speaker 3: She goes, Hannah Ann loves you with all of her heart.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Don't let her go. I don't let her go. Bring
- 25:01Speaker 3: her home, bring her home to us.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that was she was she Barba's uh is
- 25:10Speaker 4: somebody we got to love like she She was a
- 25:14Speaker 4: character that just kept giving in an authentic way and
- 25:17Speaker 4: as a very like in a very mom way that
- 25:20Speaker 4: was not filtered with how she was going to be perceived.
- 25:25Speaker 4: But we loved Barb because she loved her son. And
- 25:28Speaker 4: I'm let me be clear, I'm very much in favor
- 25:32Speaker 4: of what Barba is saying here.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, let's have it go both ways.
- 25:37Speaker 4: One hundred percent. I mean, and I don't know what
- 25:41Speaker 4: kind of NDAs. I haven't looked at our NDAs in
- 25:43Speaker 4: a long time, But I don't know what kind of
- 25:47Speaker 4: restrictions there are for Peter to stand up for himself
- 25:50Speaker 4: in this and tell the story. But goodness, you know,
- 25:55Speaker 4: we had Julian we talked to her. Uh, you know,
- 25:59Speaker 4: we heard from her. She told us that the book
- 26:02Speaker 4: isn't all about Peter. She admitted that, hey, she would
- 26:06Speaker 4: never have gotten the book deal without the Peter story.
- 26:09Speaker 4: She shared the Peter story because she said that it
- 26:12Speaker 4: was such a pivotal moment.
- 26:13Speaker 5: In her life.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Uh, and a pivotal point where she had to reconnect
- 26:19Speaker 4: with herself, which is what the book is about. The
- 26:22Speaker 4: details of their you know relationship you can read about
- 26:27Speaker 4: in her book. It happened about six months after filming
- 26:30Speaker 4: was done, according to Julie.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But still during the you know, reunionish period where it
- 26:37Speaker 2: was after the final rows.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:39Speaker 4: And do I think you know everybody's dirty laundry needs
- 26:43Speaker 4: to be aired?
- 26:45Speaker 5: No?
- 26:46Speaker 4: Do I think two people were involved in this and
- 26:49Speaker 4: they both can tell their story? Yes, one hundred percent.
- 26:53Speaker 4: There are two adults that are involved in this situation.
- 26:57Speaker 4: And I would say, if Julie's going to write about
- 27:00Speaker 4: what their relationship meant to her, I think Peter should
- 27:04Speaker 4: one hundred percent be able to tell about his about
- 27:08Speaker 4: how the relationship meant to him. I don't know why
- 27:11Speaker 4: anybody would stop him from that. I think it would
- 27:13Speaker 4: be ridiculous to try to stop him from that.
- 27:16Speaker 3: I don't think he should be stopped.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I guess the NDA she's referencing is like us all
- 27:23Speaker 2: giving detailed memories of what happened during filming that we
- 27:30Speaker 2: can't do. We can't talk about the things that production
- 27:34Speaker 2: talked to us about in detail in a book, right,
- 27:38Speaker 2: Because I know there's been so many Bachelor books written,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and I think that Courtney's is still the most salacious
- 27:46Speaker 2: and detailed when it comes to production. And I remember
- 27:50Speaker 2: her telling us that it had such that they were
- 27:53Speaker 2: not happy and she was always getting close from Warner.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I guess Barb saying like, let's just like let him
- 27:59Speaker 2: be able to write the book with all the truth
- 28:02Speaker 2: in it or all of his sides in it, without
- 28:05Speaker 2: it being filtered.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I think Julie in a lot of
- 28:08Speaker 4: ways did that right. She talks in her book about
- 28:11Speaker 4: how she was jealous of you know, Hannah Brown.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Those are all feelings, though a lot of them were
- 28:17Speaker 2: about her feelings and environments.
- 28:20Speaker 3: And less of like the actual dialogue. Don't you feel yeah?
- 28:25Speaker 4: I mean, if he can remember the dialogue from that
- 28:28Speaker 4: long ago on what you were telling him, good for him.
- 28:30Speaker 4: I mean, I just don't see why he wouldn't be
- 28:33Speaker 4: able to speak out publicly. I'm one hundred percent of
- 28:35Speaker 4: GREENSM barb. I don't think this should ever be one sided.
- 28:39Speaker 4: I honestly don't understand how she could reveal things with
- 28:44Speaker 4: her in DA that he couldn't reveal with his. I
- 28:47Speaker 4: wonder if you know that opportunity is going to be
- 28:51Speaker 4: provided to him.
- 28:53Speaker 5: I also think that.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Once he reads the book or gets snippets of it,
- 28:58Speaker 4: he'll realize that he doesn't come out let looking bad
- 29:02Speaker 4: in that book. I mean, I don't think either you
- 29:04Speaker 4: or I thought felt he like he looked bad in it.
- 29:07Speaker 5: But goodness, let him talk. What are we doing? What
- 29:12Speaker 5: are we scared of?
- 29:13Speaker 2: But Peter, we want the book. I don't want you
- 29:15Speaker 2: to do a podcast. I want details on not just Julie.
- 29:18Speaker 2: If you're gonna take this opportunity, go full blast. We
- 29:22Speaker 2: want to hear about Hannah Brown, Hannah and and Maddie
- 29:27Speaker 2: and how all that really went down in your brain
- 29:29Speaker 2: and afterward and you know Hannah Brown had sleepovers at
- 29:33Speaker 2: your parents' house.
- 29:34Speaker 3: We gotta hear this. We gotta hear inside the windmill.
- 29:37Speaker 2: We got to hear about the Kelly situation because they
- 29:41Speaker 2: had they dated twice. Basically, how did that happen after
- 29:47Speaker 2: she was seventh on your season?
- 29:49Speaker 3: Crazy goodness in there.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Yeah, she could come on the Almost Famous podcast and
- 29:54Speaker 4: I'd be fine with that. Actually, there is a point
- 30:00Speaker 4: here though, again I'm very clear, I agree with Barb
- 30:06Speaker 4: let Peter tell a story. I don't know why we wouldn't,
- 30:09Speaker 4: but there is a little bit here where outside of
- 30:14Speaker 4: all the other things that you know, this Julie situation
- 30:18Speaker 4: is trying to be defined by I think where it
- 30:22Speaker 4: really morally starts to cross the line for me would
- 30:25Speaker 4: be if he would come out and start talking about
- 30:27Speaker 4: people who are now married, like Maddie's married, Hannah Brown
- 30:32Speaker 4: is married, and I think like that would be a
- 30:36Speaker 4: little bit It feels a little bit more ichy to me.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Maybe it's not, but it just feels like if you're
- 30:42Speaker 4: resurfacing stories from the past, if that person is in
- 30:47Speaker 4: a committed relationship now in building a family, that feels
- 30:52Speaker 4: like that other person could be really hurt by this.
- 30:56Speaker 4: I know if any one of the girls from my
- 30:59Speaker 4: season came out and was like, here's what happened with
- 31:01Speaker 4: Ben and I Jessico, and it's their headlines and it's stories.
- 31:05Speaker 4: I think Jessica would be really hurt because we are
- 31:08Speaker 4: a partner now, we are connected, we were one, and
- 31:11Speaker 4: she would feel like, hey, you are hurting me in
- 31:14Speaker 4: the process, where when you're single, it's still kind of
- 31:17Speaker 4: on you, like you don't have that tie yet.
- 31:20Speaker 3: I feel that Does that make sense?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because I when I read Britney's book and
- 31:24Speaker 2: there was the whole Justin element and it was twenty
- 31:28Speaker 2: years later and you're talking about somebody with the family,
- 31:31Speaker 2: it didn't feel I felt like everybody was.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Like, pretty, oh my gosh. I'm like, no, no, let's.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Have something, but they here for Justin. Yeah, anyway, Heather, Heather,
- 31:39Speaker 2: my my millennial woman over there is saying, yeah, Justin,
- 31:43Speaker 2: Justin all right, But yes, I totally understand, not to
- 31:48Speaker 2: excuse all of Justin's behaviors, but twenty plus years ago.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I do think it's a little bit of crossing
- 31:54Speaker 4: a line, and it's a it's a more of a
- 31:57Speaker 4: respect thing for the partners involved now who did not
- 32:01Speaker 4: sign up for it and you know, their lives moving forward.
- 32:05Speaker 4: So I would be all for it, but it would
- 32:07Speaker 4: make me like feel really icky if all of a sudden,
- 32:12Speaker 4: Maddie and Hannah Brown are having to go on interviews
- 32:15Speaker 4: and respond to stories of years ago when their you know,
- 32:21Speaker 4: husbands are sitting in the room next to them.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Well you know that, Like, there's not gonna be anything
- 32:25Speaker 3: sexual with.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Maddie stories, No, but there would be with Hannah.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Hannah for sure, Hannah for sure.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I wonder we should have asked Hannah about her speaking
- 32:34Speaker 2: terms with Peter because remember when Hannah went and made
- 32:38Speaker 2: that appearance on Peter's season, and there was such chemistry
- 32:41Speaker 2: and you knew that they could probably end together if
- 32:45Speaker 2: she went on his season, but she she was a lead,
- 32:48Speaker 2: and then she's going to go back out on an
- 32:50Speaker 2: other guy's season that was on her season. Yeah, it
- 32:53Speaker 2: wouldn't have happened, but they had mad chemistry. Oh, let's
- 32:58Speaker 2: just have one moment for Barbi because she has like
- 33:01Speaker 2: she's just so dramatic. It's just just such good headlines.
- 33:05Speaker 2: So she went from that incredible bring her Home quote
- 33:08Speaker 2: to now it's lift the NDAs let Peter tell his story.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That's the actual text.
- 33:16Speaker 5: Where did she say this at?
- 33:19Speaker 3: She said this on Instagram?
- 33:22Speaker 5: Oh I love it.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:25Speaker 2: A photo of Peter smiling on Instagram with a text
- 33:29Speaker 2: alongside the image, reading, lift the NDAs.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Let Peter tell his story.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Oh I love Barb.
- 33:36Speaker 4: What a good mom she is. She loves her sons
- 33:39Speaker 4: and that's all that matters. Hey, that's all the headlines
- 33:41Speaker 4: we have for you today. Obviously some big ones. Our thoughts,
