Welcome to the episode. Today, we’re talking about book commentary: what it means to respond thoughtfully to a book, and how to make that response more interesting than a simple “I liked it” or “I didn’t.” You don’t need to be a literary critic to have something worthwhile to say. A good commentary begins with curiosity, pays attention to the reading experience, and gives other people a reason to look at the book from a new angle.
