- 0:41Speaker 3: I think it is. Does it say Subway sandwiches on
- 0:43Speaker 3: my shirt? I mean, you know stuff about food. Really
- 0:46Speaker 3: good mood today. You are. It's National Be A Jerk Day. Tom,
- 0:49Speaker 3: he's fitting in quite nicely.

- 1:02Speaker 6: And now.
- 1:03Speaker 7: A reading from Fifty Shades of Grey from John Jay's
- 1:07Speaker 7: Mexican Aunt Rosita.
- 1:10Speaker 8: He sighed, sliding beside me and pulled me into his arms.
- 1:17Speaker 8: Careful not to touch my stinging behind. We are spooning,
- 1:21Speaker 8: spooning again. He kissed me softly beside my ear. Why
- 1:27Speaker 8: don't you like to be touched? I whispered, starting up
- 1:31Speaker 8: into soft grey eyes. Because I'm 50 shades of f * * *
- 1:36Speaker 8: up shades, I don't know.
- 1:38Speaker 3: No sé ni cómo se llama esta cosa.
- 1:41Speaker 2: This has been Aunt Rosita.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Poor lady's got dementia. I know, it's so sad.
- 1:48Speaker 5: And it's International Day of Listening. Day of Listening. And International,
- 1:56Speaker 5: this is interesting, International Country Music Day. And I don't
- 2:01Speaker 5: know what this means, but it's International Time's Up.
- 2:04Speaker 3: For you, day. Time's up. That's what day it is.
- 2:08Speaker 9: It's time for us to go to the drunk dial
- 2:09Speaker 9: line or the talkback feature. It's talkback, drunk dial, same thing.
- 2:13Speaker 9: So what you do is you can call us at 602-888- 1933,
- 2:19Speaker 9: and leave us a voicemail of whatever's going on in
- 2:22Speaker 9: your world. Let's say you're at a bar, someone's hitting
- 2:23Speaker 9: on you, you can give them the number and they
- 2:24Speaker 9: can call us, or you're drunk and you just want
- 2:26Speaker 9: to say stupid stuff on a voicemail, we'll get it.
- 2:28Speaker 9: You can also tap the iHeart app, the little microphone,
- 2:32Speaker 9: and leave us a talkback, and we'll play that back
- 2:34Speaker 9: for you.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Here's a couple.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Okay, you guys are.
- 2:36Speaker 10: So busy, it's hard to get through, because you're so popular.
- 2:39Speaker 11: Here's a couple more jokes for.
- 2:40Speaker 3: You, okay? So what do you call a guy with
- 2:43Speaker 3: three legs?
- 2:45Speaker 12: Price it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: What do you call a guy with two legs?
- 2:48Speaker 4: Lean beef.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Man, I could love you some rum right now. National
- 2:52Speaker 3: Rum Day on Wednesday.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:56Speaker 9: My friend, how about you just pull your mouth a
- 2:58Speaker 9: little further away from the microphone? It's very difficult for
- 3:00Speaker 9: me to hear.
- 3:00Speaker 10: A little hard to hear.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Very difficult. Hey, Mickey, you're so fun.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You're so fun. You blow my mind.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Hey, Mickey.
- 3:07Speaker 13: Hey, Mickey.
- 3:07Speaker 8: Okay.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That was it.
- 3:10Speaker 12: Uh-huh.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Good morning, guys.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Just wanted to give you a heads up on dogs
- 3:14Speaker 4: and eating stuff.
- 3:15Speaker 1: We picked up a dog from you guys, like, back
- 3:18Speaker 1: in 2018 at the.
- 3:20Speaker 10: The first love pup.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, at the first love pup at Vertucci Farms, and
- 3:25Speaker 1: she eats everything.
- 3:26Speaker 10: Everything.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Like, everything.
- 3:27Speaker 14: And I can't tell you what she doesn't eat, because
- 3:30Speaker 14: that's not anything.
- 3:31Speaker 3: She eats underwear, shorts, socks.
- 3:34Speaker 15: Hats, shoes, and food.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I was going to say, she sounds like she's more
- 3:39Speaker 3: into clothing than anything else. So a couple of things.
- 3:42Speaker 9: The next Family Fest is November 7th at Vertuccio Farms
- 3:46Speaker 9: at 4 p.m. And I was telling you guys about
- 3:49Speaker 9: comedian Joe Coy. He's got a great comedy special and
- 3:52Speaker 9: he does about 20 minutes on his rescue dogs.
- 3:54Speaker 3: They're really funny, very funny. But I had to tell you,
- 3:57Speaker 3: we have a dog, Pablo, that we adopted from Kyle's father-in-law, Pablo.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Amazing dog. My wife, and I guess a lot of
- 4:05Speaker 3: people do this. I didn't know this. But my wife,
- 4:07Speaker 3: because it's so hot, she takes Pablo to the mall.
- 4:11Speaker 3: And there's a bunch of people walking dogs at the mall.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Have you heard of this before?
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I see Nick do it all the time.
- 4:15Speaker 16: With his dogs?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, with their dogs. And as a person who doesn't
- 4:20Speaker 2: love to have dogs around me all the time, I
- 4:22Speaker 2: be hating on those people sometimes. I get it's so hot,
- 4:25Speaker 2: but like.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It's a great.
- 4:28Speaker 9: When you say you see Nick do it all the time, what.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Do you mean?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Are you at the mall? No, his wife posted on
- 4:33Speaker 2: her Instagram that they take... Betty, Betty Waffle out on
- 4:35Speaker 2: little walks.
- 4:36Speaker 9: What's funny is when my wife told me, I said, Nick,
- 4:39Speaker 9: I just saw your wife do that. I didn't on Instagram,
- 4:41Speaker 9: but you see it all the time. They make it
- 4:44Speaker 9: seem like they post it every day. That's how it
- 4:46Speaker 9: seems sometimes. I've only seen it one time. But I
- 4:48Speaker 9: had never heard of that before. So I said to
- 4:49Speaker 9: my wife, I go, that's pretty amazing. She goes, yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 9: there's people that are walking their dogs. The coffee shops
- 4:53Speaker 9: are open and some of the restaurants are open, but
- 4:55Speaker 9: the stores aren't. So you go early in the morning.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 4:58Speaker 16: There's less people there.
- 5:00Speaker 9: Yeah, and then there's people that are exercising, people walking
- 5:02Speaker 9: their dogs. So she took Pablo there yesterday. And Pablo's walking.
- 5:06Speaker 9: He's generally a really good dog. He's such a beautiful dog,
- 5:09Speaker 9: happy dog.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And boom, he stops and drops a turd.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Uh-oh.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Right there in front.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Of the friggin'. I figure that's going to happen if
- 5:16Speaker 5: you're walking your dog in the mall.
- 5:18Speaker 3: It's going to happen, right? I don't know.
- 5:20Speaker 9: I just figured that your dog would poop beforehand. It's
- 5:23Speaker 9: something I don't know. And then I tell Nick about
- 5:25Speaker 9: it and Nick's like, he cleaned up. He was walking
- 5:27Speaker 9: his dog and another dog, a dog had pooped in
- 5:31Speaker 9: front of the Gucci store and no one picked it up.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's why I like kind of hate about it. Like
- 5:36Speaker 2: that's kind of, that's really gross.
- 5:38Speaker 16: It's actually like, cause you know, they're not like mopping
- 5:41Speaker 16: in between. Exactly.
- 5:42Speaker 2: So like if I'm shopping till I drop, I don't
- 5:44Speaker 2: want to accidentally step in poo.
- 5:46Speaker 16: You probably are.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, which is why I'm kind of judging.
- 5:49Speaker 17: Even if it's cleaned up, it's not like they have
- 5:50Speaker 17: like 409 or some sort of spray with them.
- 5:53Speaker 2: When have you ever seen one of those little gazebos
- 5:55Speaker 2: go through that mall?
- 5:56Speaker 18: Never.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I think it's a great service they offer, especially when
- 5:59Speaker 3: it's so hot. You mean Zamboni?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever those are called.
- 6:01Speaker 3: The Zamboni machine?
- 6:02Speaker 2: The things that clean the floor.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Okay, well, the Zamboni machine is for ice hockey rinks.
- 6:07Speaker 3: You've seen the ones.
- 6:08Speaker 16: That clean floors. It's like a mini Zamboni.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like one of those things. I used to
- 6:12Speaker 3: push one of those around a grocery store. They're awesome.
- 6:14Speaker 19: I just pulled up to work, and this conversation has
- 6:17Speaker 19: me so triggered as a millennial. I am very tired
- 6:19Speaker 19: of the side part disrespect.
- 6:21Speaker 10: I understand.
- 6:22Speaker 19: I feel fully aware that center parts are in. But
- 6:25Speaker 19: I need all the little Gen Z babies to know
- 6:28Speaker 19: that trends do not circumvent symmetry. So if you look
- 6:31Speaker 19: better with a side part, please rock a side part,
- 6:33Speaker 19: because some of you are out here looking like the
- 6:35Speaker 19: mom from Adam's family.
- 6:37Speaker 20: Yes!
- 6:37Speaker 3: Morticia is not bad.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 6:41Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Like a boss. Yeah, because we were talking about why
- 6:46Speaker 3: the millennials and Gen Z and that side part and
- 6:48Speaker 3: part down the middle.
- 6:48Speaker 16: Everyone's face is different.
- 6:51Speaker 10: Symmetry.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I am rock with what makes you feel good.
- 6:54Speaker 3: So that's what you do.
- 6:55Speaker 9: You can leave us a talk back on the free
- 6:56Speaker 9: iHeartRadio app. Just download it for free. Or you can
- 6:58Speaker 9: call us at 602-888-1933.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Good morning. John Jane Rich. Who's this?
- 7:03Speaker 13: Hi.
- 7:04Speaker 21: I don't really want to give my name.
- 7:05Speaker 22: Okay.
- 7:06Speaker 23: Because I have a story.
- 7:07Speaker 3: What are you calling for?
- 7:08Speaker 23: What did you find out after you'd been married for
- 7:10Speaker 23: 10 plus years?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Oh, okay. What did you find out after you'd been
- 7:13Speaker 3: married for 10 plus years?
- 7:15Speaker 11: It wasn't me.
- 7:16Speaker 21: It was my mom.
- 7:17Speaker 24: It came out that my dad was gay.
- 7:20Speaker 20: Oh.
- 7:20Speaker 25: After being married.
- 7:21Speaker 12: For 22 years.
- 7:21Speaker 20: Wow.
- 7:21Speaker 4: And you feel like you wish you had known that.
- 7:24Speaker 4: And he hadn't been in their entire marriage.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And then what? Did he leave her and be in a.
- 7:29Speaker 26: No, he actually, he left, but then he wouldn't divorce
- 7:33Speaker 26: her because he wanted to stay together.
- 7:35Speaker 16: Oh, he wanted his, like, companions.
- 7:37Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 4: He wanted to keep up the image of they were
- 7:40Speaker 4: this perfect religious couple.
- 7:44Speaker 23: Oh.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Oh.
- 7:46Speaker 17: And then how was your mom through that whole process?
- 7:50Speaker 27: She finally got to the point where she.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Had to hire an attorney just to get divorced because
- 7:54Speaker 4: he would not let her divorce them.
- 7:56Speaker 3: So he was like seeing guys on the side?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah, for their entire marriage. And I actually, I'm their
- 8:01Speaker 4: oldest child, and I had a boyfriend kind of early on,
- 8:05Speaker 4: and my dad owned his own business, and he was like,
- 8:08Speaker 4: there is something really weird.
- 8:10Speaker 13: About your dad and that one employee.
- 8:13Speaker 4: And I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Like I didn't see it, but he's like, there's something weird.
- 8:18Speaker 4: And so come to find out 10 years later, that
- 8:20Speaker 4: was one of his boyfriends.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Wow.
- 8:24Speaker 16: That's a bomb.
- 8:25Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:26Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 8:26Speaker 4: It was just an interesting story.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Nice to know. Very interesting. Thanks for calling in.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 8:32Speaker 10: Bye.
- 8:32Speaker 3: See, that's a live drunk dial. That's a live talk back.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's right.
- 8:36Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 9: You could also just call us live. 877-937-1047.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I'm telling you what your Zodiac sign's specific guilty pleasure is.
- 8:53Speaker 2: If it's your birthday today, you are a Virgo. You
- 8:56Speaker 2: share a birthday with Patrick Mahomes and Slater, who was
- 8:59Speaker 2: just here earlier this week, and then also my dad,
- 9:01Speaker 2: so you're really cool if it's your birthday.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Slater was here?
- 9:03Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Mario Lopez?
- 9:04Speaker 2: No, Slater, like the singer?
- 9:06Speaker 3: Slayer.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Slater.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Oh, I only know Slater. I know Slater. I don't
- 9:11Speaker 3: think Slater is touring currently. I know Mario Lopez. I
- 9:14Speaker 3: don't either.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Oh, I'm disappointed. I need to put you guys on
- 9:17Speaker 2: game later today.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Let me behind you. All right. So what do you
- 9:20Speaker 3: got for Virgo? So this is my guilty pleasure. I'm
- 9:22Speaker 3: a Virgo. Okay, what do you got?
- 9:23Speaker 2: So Virgos, you guys experiencing pure like bliss by completely
- 9:29Speaker 2: clearing out your inboxes and like completely clearing out your
- 9:32Speaker 2: space and giving yourself a hard reset is your guilty pleasure.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And it's something that's your guilty pleasure because you don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: really do it very often. So when it is happening,
- 9:41Speaker 2: it's like, what is my life? It's a whole new
- 9:43Speaker 2: world over here.
- 9:44Speaker 9: That's a good one because my emails are usually at 100, 200,000.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 9:49Speaker 9: And this friend of mine who cannot handle that, Kevin
- 9:51Speaker 9: Rowe from Lerner Rowe, he grabbed my phone. He was like,
- 9:54Speaker 9: let me see your emails.
- 9:55Speaker 3: And it was only at 3 000 and i felt
- 9:57Speaker 3: so good although he's probably like itching he's probably he.
- 10:00Speaker 9: Can't he can't handle it but i was like hey
- 10:03Speaker 9: man that's 3 000 3 000 unanswered emails that's pretty
- 10:05Speaker 9: good i felt really good all right uh mary k
- 10:09Speaker 9: good morning mary.
- 10:11Speaker 11: K hi good morning everyone.
- 10:14Speaker 3: What's your sign i am an aries All.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Right, Aries, your guys' guilty pleasure is finding a brand
- 10:21Speaker 2: new ultra intense hobby or like workout hyper fixation. You
- 10:25Speaker 2: will go all out and buy all of the top
- 10:27Speaker 2: notch gear for it, the cutest outfits, and you will
- 10:30Speaker 2: make it your entire personality for like the next three days.
- 10:34Speaker 28: You know, that is so true because I've done it
- 10:36Speaker 28: before and I feel like I'm going to do it again.
- 10:38Speaker 18: Yes.
- 10:39Speaker 2: You're feeling that itch right now. I'm saying go for it.
- 10:43Speaker 11: I definitely will.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I'm Ricky. Have a great day.
- 10:47Speaker 24: You guys too.
- 10:48Speaker 27: Thanks.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Hello, Carrie. What's your sign?
- 10:51Speaker 27: Good morning.
- 10:52Speaker 24: I'm a Libra.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Oh, just like Kyle.
- 10:54Speaker 20: Okay.
- 10:55Speaker 2: So for my Libras, your guys' guilty pleasure is spending
- 10:58Speaker 2: three hours making like the most immaculate hype playlist for
- 11:03Speaker 2: whatever mood or scenario that hasn't happened yet. You are
- 11:07Speaker 2: just sitting there adding songs, adding albums to your playlist
- 11:11Speaker 2: for that moment when you need a little bit of hype.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Amen. A nostalgia right there.
- 11:17Speaker 16: I literally just did this for my son's baseball games.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 11:21Speaker 16: I keep adding to it.
- 11:22Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You need a good like warm up playlist to feel
- 11:26Speaker 2: the vibes. I agree with you on that.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Thanks, Carrie.
- 11:28Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 11:29Speaker 3: How about Pisces?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Rich your guilty pleasure is going to a coffee shop
- 11:34Speaker 2: or somewhere like fancy or foofy whatever floats your boat
- 11:37Speaker 2: you put on your headphones and you will just stare
- 11:41Speaker 2: out and listen to new music whether yeah whether that's
- 11:45Speaker 2: um acoustic whether that's pop whether that's literally whatever genre
- 11:49Speaker 2: you're getting into and then you'll like completely transport yourself.
- 11:51Speaker 5: And act like you're them yeah because the music that
- 11:53Speaker 5: they play in the place is not good enough first
- 11:56Speaker 5: of all So I have to have my own.
- 11:58Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. Wrap up with Leo's.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, us Leo's, our guilty pleasure is putting on a
- 12:04Speaker 2: full over the top outfit and then doing a complete
- 12:06Speaker 2: glam routine just to walk around the house. We're going
- 12:08Speaker 2: to take like 800 pictures and good lighting and then
- 12:10Speaker 2: send them to our group chat.
- 12:12Speaker 25: All right.
- 12:12Speaker 9: If your sign didn't get mentioned, you can go to
- 12:15Speaker 9: our website. They're all up there posted at johnjainrich.com.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Remember the other day we were talking about how people
- 12:31Speaker 6: quit their job based off the girl from Mormon Housewives?
- 12:34Speaker 3: She quit. Christina has an iconic way she quit her job.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Am I right, Christina? How'd you do it?
- 12:41Speaker 29: Hello, John and Rich.
- 12:42Speaker 12: I love you guys, by the way.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 12:44Speaker 12: It was Christmas Eve about 10 years ago.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I was a waitress.
- 12:47Speaker 12: I worked two restaurant jobs. We were actually packed that night.
- 12:51Speaker 12: It was like 1030 at night. I was tired. And
- 12:55Speaker 12: we were expected to dishwash, bus, be the cashiers. We
- 12:59Speaker 12: only had one cook. I only had one other server
- 13:02Speaker 12: and a shift lead, no manager. And customers were complaining
- 13:07Speaker 12: about 50-minute tickets. I melted down. I couldn't handle it.
- 13:11Speaker 12: I was like, you guys are insane for thinking that
- 13:14Speaker 12: we can do this on a freaking Christmas Eve.
- 13:16Speaker 10: I'm done.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Enough.
- 13:18Speaker 12: This is my last table. I was in the middle
- 13:21Speaker 12: of the dining room screaming.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 13:24Speaker 12: And literally it was like, this is not worth it.
- 13:28Speaker 12: And told my guests, I am so sorry. And literally
- 13:32Speaker 12: went to the back, got my stuff and walked out.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Merry Christmas.
- 13:37Speaker 12: I'm so sorry you can't do this. I was like, nope, nope.
- 13:40Speaker 12: Two jobs, it's not worth it anymore.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Well, thanks for sharing with us, Christina. Thank you for listening. Absolutely.
- 13:46Speaker 16: Thank you guys.
- 13:46Speaker 12: Have a good day.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Madison, you have an iconic way you quit your job.
- 13:50Speaker 19: I do, yes.
- 13:51Speaker 3: What did you do?
- 13:51Speaker 24: I worked in a primarily male-dominated job.
- 13:54Speaker 21: The company I worked for, there was.
- 13:56Speaker 24: Only one other female that worked there. There was one
- 13:59Speaker 24: of my bosses. He had just quit, and he pulled
- 14:01Speaker 24: me aside before he left, and he was like, hey,
- 14:03Speaker 24: just letting you know, the only reason why you have
- 14:06Speaker 24: been safe and nothing's happened to you while you've been
- 14:09Speaker 24: here is because I'm here, so watch your back and
- 14:12Speaker 24: make sure that you're safe.
- 14:13Speaker 10: Okay.
- 14:15Speaker 24: My husband now is like, I don't feel comfortable with
- 14:16Speaker 24: you working there. So I did the one thing that
- 14:18Speaker 24: they thought that I was going to do in the beginning,
- 14:21Speaker 24: which would be a typical woman and be crazy. So
- 14:24Speaker 24: I went in there. I'm like, I'm so sorry. Like,
- 14:26Speaker 24: I've got woman problems. I'm on my period. And I
- 14:30Speaker 24: just I can't work here anymore. I just I can't
- 14:33Speaker 24: do it. I've got woman problems.
- 14:34Speaker 18: I'm crazy.
- 14:35Speaker 24: And they looked at me. They're like, are you kidding?
- 14:37Speaker 24: And I'm like, I'm sorry. Like, right now is.
- 14:38Speaker 25: My last day.
- 14:39Speaker 24: And I just walked out.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Because of woman problems.
- 14:44Speaker 12: Yep, all the women problems.
- 14:45Speaker 24: They thought that the woman was going to be the problem,
- 14:47Speaker 24: and I told them, yeah, it was just woman problems.
- 14:50Speaker 24: I can't work here anymore.
- 14:51Speaker 6: I'm going to use that.
- 14:54Speaker 11: Thanks, Madison.
- 14:54Speaker 12: It was great.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Thanks for calling in.
- 14:56Speaker 13: Yeah, thank you.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Good morning. Wake up every morning.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Start your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 15:01Speaker 6: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 15:02Speaker 16: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter.
- 15:04Speaker 10: What's up, guys?
- 15:04Speaker 5: This is Post Malone.
- 15:05Speaker 7: It's Benson Boone, and you're waking up with John Jay
- 15:07Speaker 7: and Rich.
- 15:08Speaker 12: Hi, Julie.
- 15:09Speaker 3: You're on the air. Hi there.
- 15:11Speaker 26: I heard you guys talking about Crazy things that people
- 15:14Speaker 26: have predicted.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that came true.
- 15:17Speaker 26: Yes, that came true.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah, what do you got?
- 15:21Speaker 26: Well, I was at a charity event with my parents,
- 15:25Speaker 26: and I was with a couple that I'm somewhat acquainted with.
- 15:30Speaker 26: So I introduced my parents to them, and my mom
- 15:33Speaker 26: shook their hand. And then later, on the way home,
- 15:37Speaker 26: my mom said, stay away from that man anymore. When
- 15:41Speaker 26: I shook his hand, I felt evil through my whole body.
- 15:45Speaker 26: And that man was Bill Cosby.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 15:49Speaker 22: Whoa.
- 15:51Speaker 3: But what year was this?
- 15:53Speaker 26: This was in, believe it or not, it was in
- 15:56Speaker 26: the 80s.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Oh, wow. So the stuff, the bad stuff wasn't even
- 15:59Speaker 3: out yet.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 3: That was another 20 years away.
- 16:00Speaker 30: Dang.
- 16:01Speaker 26: And then my mom has since, she did know and
- 16:05Speaker 26: she has since passed away. But I have always sort
- 16:08Speaker 26: of felt like she was psychic. But she never talked
- 16:12Speaker 26: about it.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Wow.
- 16:13Speaker 3: What a trip.
- 16:14Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Well, Julie, thank you for sharing that story with us.
- 16:18Speaker 28: You bet.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You bet.
- 16:18Speaker 26: Have a great day.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That could lead us right into Stacks and Hacks. Sure
- 16:21Speaker 3: it could. Yeah. Stacks and Hacks is all information.
- 16:25Speaker 9: Stacks of information and then life hacks like right now
- 16:27Speaker 9: stay away from bill cosby that's a good piece of
- 16:29Speaker 9: information that's good advice another bit of information i have
- 16:32Speaker 9: here which i thought was really interesting and i think
- 16:34Speaker 9: when i tell you guys this you're going to be
- 16:36Speaker 9: confused and go what do you know there have been
- 16:39Speaker 9: over 400 different flavors of kit kats.
- 16:42Speaker 16: What No, I just said. 400 is a lot.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I know that a lot of times that they do
- 16:48Speaker 2: like the limited edition flavors that you can only get
- 16:51Speaker 2: in a different country.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I mean, how could they do?
- 16:53Speaker 2: But 400 is a lot.
- 16:54Speaker 3: How could they come up with 400 flavors? There have
- 16:56Speaker 3: been over 400 different flavors of Kit Kats produced in Japan,
- 17:00Speaker 3: including pear, soybean, blueberry, cheesecake, green tea, and wasabi. I mean,
- 17:05Speaker 3: I would try a few of those.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I've tried the green tea one before.
- 17:08Speaker 3: The word diarrhea comes from the Greek word that means
- 17:12Speaker 3: flowing through.
- 17:13Speaker 31: Okay.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Did you know that Dr.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Pepper was created to taste like the smell inside of
- 17:20Speaker 9: a drugstore?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 17:22Speaker 18: Ew.
- 17:22Speaker 16: Why would you want it to taste like a drugstore?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Maybe back in the day when they came up with it,
- 17:26Speaker 3: that was a smell that would make people happy.
- 17:27Speaker 12: Dr.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Pepper. How many espresso shots do you think it would
- 17:33Speaker 3: take to kill you?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Probably like 15.
- 17:35Speaker 3: 15? Okay. 20.
- 17:38Speaker 16: Kyle?
- 17:39Speaker 3: I'd say 35. 179 espresso shots would be enough caffeine
- 17:42Speaker 3: to kill you.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's it?
- 17:43Speaker 16: That's a lot.
- 17:45Speaker 3: There's a new beauty trend going on right now among men.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Among men. It's worldwide, and it's trimming their eyelashes for
- 17:53Speaker 3: a more masculine look.
- 17:55Speaker 23: Hmm.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Experts say it's risky because eyelashes are important to protecting
- 17:59Speaker 3: your eyes from debris. Yeah, we'd be messing with that.
- 18:03Speaker 16: Just leave them. Long lashes are great.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Okay, now this is very funny, by the way. This
- 18:07Speaker 9: is so funny, especially when you see the picture.
- 18:08Speaker 3: But I guess.
- 18:10Speaker 9: More than 8,000 people in Michigan got new, they applied
- 18:12Speaker 9: for new driver's license.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. And they got their license in the mail,
- 18:16Speaker 3: but it was this random black dude.
- 18:17Speaker 16: He's like a stock photo.
- 18:19Speaker 32: I was excited, like, oh, I'm about to finally get
- 18:23Speaker 32: my license.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I looked at my license.
- 18:25Speaker 26: It seemed that this man was on here, and I
- 18:26Speaker 26: automatically knew that it wasn't right.
- 18:28Speaker 11: I'm like, okay, maybe they're putting the Secretary of State
- 18:31Speaker 11: on the licenses.
- 18:32Speaker 15: But then I'm like, girl, the Secretary of State is
- 18:35Speaker 15: not a black man.
- 18:36Speaker 2: They could have sent out an email or anything.
- 18:39Speaker 11: I have no clue when I'm receiving my actual license.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I would love that to happen to me. How many
- 18:44Speaker 3: of them went out, did you say? 8,000.
- 18:45Speaker 20: What?
- 18:46Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 18:46Speaker 9: I would love to have a black man on my
- 18:48Speaker 9: driver's license that says John J.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Van Ness. And I go, it's me, man.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 18:53Speaker 9: And then they moved to reissue the real one. Then
- 18:54Speaker 9: I have the fake one. There's a black guy on there.
- 18:56Speaker 9: And I can always say it's me. That'd be so great.
- 18:59Speaker 9: The paint company Sherwin-Williams.
- 19:01Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 3: They just named their color of the year for 2027.
- 19:04Speaker 16: Oh, what is it?
- 19:05Speaker 2: Butter yellow.
- 19:06Speaker 28: Nope.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Oh, good guess. Is it hunter green? Close.
- 19:10Speaker 9: Oh, it is?
- 19:10Speaker 3: It's called celery.
- 19:11Speaker 28: Oh.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Celery.
- 19:13Speaker 16: I don't think that, in my head, it's not a
- 19:15Speaker 16: great color for your wall.
- 19:16Speaker 5: And by the way, did we put Sherwin-Williams into deciding
- 19:19Speaker 5: what our color of the year is? I thought it
- 19:21Speaker 5: was the Pantone people that did all that.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Consumer Reports ranked America's best grocery store rotisserie chickens, judging
- 19:28Speaker 3: them on texture, flavor and appearance. Costco, done.
- 19:32Speaker 9: Costco and Sam's Club fared well. ShopRite and Fresh Market
- 19:38Speaker 9: did not. I don't know those two.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I don't know those two either. So there you go.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of Safeways, which is ridiculous. But hey,
- 19:43Speaker 3: what do you got for Life Hacks, Rich?
- 19:45Speaker 5: Well, you know, your resume may have to impress a
- 19:48Speaker 5: computer now before it ever impresses a person. So when
- 19:51Speaker 5: you're applying for a job, there's like all these AI
- 19:54Speaker 5: things you have to jump through. In fact, my son
- 19:56Speaker 5: Joe was telling me that like the last 10 interviews,
- 19:59Speaker 5: only like two of them were people. A lot of
- 20:01Speaker 5: them were AI interviews. And he's like, you can't crush
- 20:04Speaker 5: it with AI. You can't make them laugh. You can't
- 20:06Speaker 5: find like commonality with AI. He got hired by a person.
- 20:10Speaker 5: But so a lot of these companies now use applicant
- 20:12Speaker 5: tracking software to organize resumes and look for skills in
- 20:16Speaker 5: wording that match the job. So before you apply, go
- 20:20Speaker 5: to Jobscan.com. They have a free option, free, where you
- 20:25Speaker 5: upload your resume, paste it in the job posting, and
- 20:28Speaker 5: they see how well the two match for you. So
- 20:30Speaker 5: before you get taken out by AI, use some AI
- 20:33Speaker 5: to see if your job description or your skills actually
- 20:37Speaker 5: match that particular job. Don't send the same resume everywhere.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Make your resume fit the job. That life hack can
- 20:44Speaker 5: be found at johnjanerich.com.
- 20:46Speaker 3: McKenna, what's going on in your dating world? It's time
- 20:48Speaker 3: for War of the Roses.
- 20:49Speaker 11: Hey, yeah, so I catfished my boyfriend, and I know
- 20:53Speaker 11: that he's cheating on me.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Oh, well, that's big. We might get all the details.
- 20:57Speaker 3: War of the Roses starts next with John Jay and Rich.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Hey, dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 21:09Speaker 3: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 21:13Speaker 3: and Rich. All right, it's time for War of the Roses. McKenna,
- 21:16Speaker 3: you think someone's cheating on you. What's your story?
- 21:18Speaker 11: So, yeah, I asked my boyfriend to unfollow this girl
- 21:22Speaker 11: on Instagram last week, and he straight up would not
- 21:25Speaker 11: do it. He said to me, like, that's my cousin,
- 21:30Speaker 11: and okay, because no the hell it's not. That account
- 21:34Speaker 11: is actually mine. And I've had this fake Instagram since
- 21:39Speaker 11: literally high school, and I use just some, like, Random models, pictures.
- 21:45Speaker 11: And to be honest, I actually forgot about it for years.
- 21:49Speaker 11: But a few months ago, my boyfriend was acting super shady.
- 21:54Speaker 11: So I got curious and was like, let's follow him
- 21:58Speaker 11: and see what happens. And of course, he followed her back.
- 22:02Speaker 11: And he started liking a couple of the pictures. And
- 22:04Speaker 11: I was like, oh, okay.
- 22:07Speaker 22: Noted.
- 22:07Speaker 10: Got that.
- 22:09Speaker 11: But recently, he's been swiping up on stories with heart
- 22:12Speaker 11: eyes and, like, being super flirty.
- 22:15Speaker 16: Ew.
- 22:16Speaker 11: And so now I'm, like, super suspicious, right? Like, I
- 22:22Speaker 11: want to know if he's just being a slime ball
- 22:24Speaker 11: online or if he would actually take it further. Like,
- 22:27Speaker 11: is he going to try to talk to her? Like,
- 22:30Speaker 11: what the deal is?
- 22:31Speaker 10: Wow.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Boy, it's like you're setting him up for failure and
- 22:36Speaker 5: he's taking the bait every single time.
- 22:39Speaker 16: Or she's putting him to the test and he's failing.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I like that angle. Now we're the final round with
- 22:44Speaker 5: the flowers, right? This is the last like... Well, I
- 22:47Speaker 5: got to send them to somebody. I don't know her address.
- 22:49Speaker 5: She's just beautiful and online.
- 22:52Speaker 3: He's not going to send them to somebody he's not
- 22:54Speaker 3: communicating with.
- 22:55Speaker 9: I mean, you would know if he's communicating with the person. So,
- 22:59Speaker 9: I mean, it doesn't mean there's not another person that
- 23:01Speaker 9: he's going to send them to. But I can't see
- 23:03Speaker 9: him sending them to his fake cousin, your Finsta account.
- 23:07Speaker 3: But still, either way, you've got vibes. And he's lying
- 23:09Speaker 3: to you. What's your boyfriend's name?
- 23:12Speaker 11: His name is Jack.
- 23:13Speaker 9: The only thing, you say he's lying to you, but
- 23:15Speaker 9: maybe he thinks, oh, you specifically said unfollowed his one account.
- 23:18Speaker 3: That's my cousin. Right, right.
- 23:20Speaker 18: Okay.
- 23:20Speaker 3: He's totally lying.
- 23:22Speaker 16: Absolutely not.
- 23:23Speaker 9: He'd be like, he got it wrong. He got the
- 23:25Speaker 9: wrong account. Maybe he's following his cousin.
- 23:27Speaker 12: All right.
- 23:27Speaker 3: We're going to call Jack. We're going to see who
- 23:30Speaker 3: he sends flowers to. War of the Roses continues next
- 23:34Speaker 3: with John Jane Rich.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Somebody said they saw you.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You're going to do your thing.
- 23:42Speaker 3: All right, we're in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 23:44Speaker 3: You got McKenna. She thinks her boyfriend Jack is cheating
- 23:47Speaker 3: on her because of suspicious behavior. Some of that is
- 23:50Speaker 3: on Instagram. She has a fake Instagram account, and he
- 23:52Speaker 3: followed it.
- 23:53Speaker 9: She said, I want you to stop following this account.
- 23:55Speaker 9: He said, it's my cousin. It's not her cousin. It's
- 23:57Speaker 9: not his cousin.
- 23:57Speaker 7: It's her.
- 23:58Speaker 3: She posts a bunch of sexy pictures on there that
- 24:01Speaker 3: are fake, right? McKenna, they're not you. They're fake pictures.
- 24:04Speaker 25: Right.
- 24:04Speaker 11: Yeah, no, they're not me. They're just some random super
- 24:07Speaker 11: hot girl.
- 24:09Speaker 3: That is so crazy. All right.
- 24:11Speaker 9: We'll get him on the phone and see if he
- 24:12Speaker 9: sends flowers to McKenna.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Hang tight.
- 24:14Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Hello?
- 24:25Speaker 16: Good morning. Is Jack available?
- 24:30Speaker 12: Uh.
- 24:31Speaker 29: Who?
- 24:31Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Who is this?
- 24:32Speaker 16: My name is Charlie. I'm with a new company. We're
- 24:34Speaker 16: called J and R Flowers. And this deal is really
- 24:35Speaker 16: just for you. So I had to make sure it
- 24:36Speaker 16: was really you.
- 24:38Speaker 17: We have this really cool social media campaign where you've
- 24:40Speaker 17: been chosen to be one of our micro influencers.
- 24:43Speaker 16: And here's why this is.
- 24:44Speaker 17: Super cool for you, Jack. You get to send our
- 24:46Speaker 17: most romantic bouquet of roses. We call it like our
- 24:48Speaker 17: pure passion bouquets, dozen red roses, crystal vase.
- 24:50Speaker 16: So awesome.
- 24:51Speaker 17: Gorgeous, pretty much makes anyone soon. And you get to
- 24:54Speaker 17: send it totally free to whoever you want really anywhere. Um,
- 24:58Speaker 17: and all we're kind of asking in return is that
- 25:00Speaker 17: you post about J and R flowers so we can
- 25:02Speaker 17: like get the word out.
- 25:02Speaker 16: And get a little bit of marketing.
- 25:06Speaker 18: Uh, nah.
- 25:10Speaker 16: I mean, it's totally free.
- 25:11Speaker 17: I know it's kind of like weird, but like, I'm
- 25:12Speaker 17: not going to ask you for credit card information.
- 25:14Speaker 16: We're not going to send you a bill.
- 25:16Speaker 17: It's just like, I mean, even if you just like,
- 25:18Speaker 17: like a few of our posts or maybe like repost them,
- 25:20Speaker 17: so you don't have to like make your own content.
- 25:23Speaker 17: It's really just like, it's kind of like a word
- 25:24Speaker 17: of mouth marketing campaign. And they're like, this is like
- 25:28Speaker 17: usually over a hundred dollars, this bouquet. So it kind
- 25:31Speaker 17: of does make a splash. It's super sexy.
- 25:32Speaker 16: So if you've got someone special in your life, I
- 25:35Speaker 16: would take advantage of this.
- 25:36Speaker 7: Uh-huh.
- 25:39Speaker 10: Um, yeah, I'm gonna have to say thanks, but no thanks.
- 25:44Speaker 16: You don't have anyone special in your life, Jack?
- 25:49Speaker 18: Uh, no.
- 25:50Speaker 16: No one you want to impress?
- 25:54Speaker 10: Nah, not right now.
- 25:56Speaker 16: Hmm, that's very sad.
- 25:57Speaker 33: Oh, bullshit, Jack.
- 25:59Speaker 11: Are you serious right now?
- 26:02Speaker 10: Um, what the f * * *? What's going on?
- 26:07Speaker 11: So apparently you can't think of one person to send
- 26:09Speaker 11: flowers to, but you've got plenty of girls to send
- 26:12Speaker 11: heart eyes to on Instagram? I call John Jay and
- 26:16Speaker 11: Rich because you're a piece of.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Wait.
- 26:22Speaker 10: What are you even talking about?
- 26:25Speaker 12: Oh, okay.
- 26:26Speaker 28: So, fine.
- 26:26Speaker 11: Let's talk about your cousin.
- 26:28Speaker 23: Who is she exactly?
- 26:31Speaker 3: What cousin?
- 26:32Speaker 10: What the f * * * are you talking about?
- 26:35Speaker 11: The girl that I asked you to unfollow last week.
- 26:38Speaker 11: You told me that she was your cousin.
- 26:40Speaker 23: What's your cousin's name, Jack? I.
- 26:45Speaker 10: I told you she's like my cousin.
- 26:49Speaker 13: So what is her name?
- 26:54Speaker 10: Look, why are you interrogating me right now? You don't
- 26:57Speaker 10: even know her. This makes no sense.
- 27:00Speaker 11: You don't know her either. Because where does she live?
- 27:03Speaker 10: Look, I don't know. She moves around. We're not like close, close,
- 27:08Speaker 10: you know?
- 27:09Speaker 11: Interesting but you're close close enough to be sliding up
- 27:13Speaker 11: on her story with hard eyes that is so gross.
- 27:18Speaker 10: Oh my god it's instagram i'm not doing anything you're
- 27:22Speaker 10: making this into something it's not.
- 27:25Speaker 11: Jack she's not your cousin yes she is no she's
- 27:32Speaker 11: not because it's me the.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Account is me he's like we're cousins Wait, what?
- 27:41Speaker 10: No, it's not. You're lying.
- 27:44Speaker 11: Oh, I'm lying?
- 27:45Speaker 12: Okay.
- 27:45Speaker 11: Well, you know what? Check your DMs, you f * * *
- 27:48Speaker 11: ing idiot.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Like, are you DMing something right now? By the way,
- 27:51Speaker 3: you're on the air. That's why she called us. Oh,
- 27:53Speaker 3: f * * *.
- 27:54Speaker 16: Oh, did he see you saw it?
- 27:57Speaker 3: That really says it all.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Wait. Did you just DM him or something? Like, what'd
- 28:02Speaker 2: you say?
- 28:03Speaker 11: Yeah, I just messaged him from that account. Every picture
- 28:09Speaker 11: you liked, every story you reacted to, every little heart-eye emoji,
- 28:14Speaker 11: that was me.
- 28:16Speaker 10: McKenna, okay, but look, I never actually, like, did anything.
- 28:21Speaker 10: I mean.
- 28:22Speaker 11: Yeah, you know what? Don't even do this, because this
- 28:25Speaker 11: is cheating, and I don't care if you physically did
- 28:27Speaker 11: anything or not. That's not the point. You thought she
- 28:30Speaker 11: was real, and you thought she was some, like, hot
- 28:33Speaker 11: girl giving you attention. You flirted with her, and then
- 28:36Speaker 11: what you're... What about not sending you flowers when they're free? Right,
- 28:40Speaker 11: no one's special in your life.
- 28:42Speaker 24: Be for real.
- 29:02Speaker 10: McKenna, how are you going to entrap somebody? This is
- 29:05Speaker 10: like insane. I didn't do anything.
- 29:08Speaker 11: You lied to me. You said that this girl was
- 29:10Speaker 11: your cousin this whole time and you couldn't tell me
- 29:14Speaker 11: her name. You don't know where she lives. Now all
- 29:16Speaker 11: of a sudden you all aren't like close, close, but
- 29:19Speaker 11: you're liking everything and being such a slime ball.
- 29:23Speaker 9: You know, what's interesting is that you're lying about the
- 29:26Speaker 9: cousin and it's like, you really don't have a reason
- 29:29Speaker 9: to lie because it's not like anything's happened.
- 29:31Speaker 16: Right.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I mean, you know, you're being stupid.
- 29:33Speaker 17: But the fact that you lied makes it feel more slimy,
- 29:35Speaker 17: like there is something.
- 29:37Speaker 9: To me, to me, the worst part is he had
- 29:38Speaker 9: no one to send flowers to. Like when you got
- 29:40Speaker 9: a girlfriend, like that hurts. They're free.
- 29:43Speaker 3: You didn't have to pay for anything.
- 29:44Speaker 9: Like, Hey, and I think Kyle even said a few
- 29:47Speaker 9: different times, like, Hey, you get, these are free.
- 29:49Speaker 26: Nope.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Got nobody. Like that's a, that's bad, Jack.
- 29:53Speaker 31: Whatever, man.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Okay, so McKenna, you're done with him, right? You're done. Oh,
- 29:57Speaker 3: I'm so done.
- 29:58Speaker 20: All right.
- 29:58Speaker 11: We are completely done.
- 29:59Speaker 3: All right. Well, you guys, that's War of the Roses
- 30:02Speaker 3: with John Jane Rich.
- 30:05Speaker 7: Oh, man.
- 30:16Speaker 3: War of the Roses. Crazy. Micro-cheating.
- 30:21Speaker 9: Is sending a DM to a girl or a guy,
- 30:23Speaker 9: Mike Routine. Before we get into that real quick, though,
- 30:25Speaker 9: Vonda's got a very important question. Vonda, good morning.
- 30:27Speaker 3: What's up?
- 30:29Speaker 4: Hey.
- 30:30Speaker 29: I just wanted to know about the traders. When are
- 30:33Speaker 29: you guys going to start doing that segment?
- 30:37Speaker 9: We've slid this little contest thing without really not talking
- 30:39Speaker 9: about it, but it's a $ 250 gift card, but you've
- 30:42Speaker 9: got to be a fan of the TV show Traders.
- 30:44Speaker 3: We're probably going to do that.
- 30:45Speaker 13: I am.
- 30:45Speaker 10: I'm such a fan.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:47Speaker 9: I think you should listen to whatever we do, what
- 30:49Speaker 9: you need to know, probably around 8.50.
- 30:52Speaker 25: Okay.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Okay. Thanks, Vonda. Good luck. Thank you. A lot of.
- 30:55Speaker 9: Prizes this morning. We got the Disney tickets. We got
- 30:58Speaker 9: Harry Styles tickets. We got Kanye tickets.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Lots going on. B, your thoughts on War of the
- 31:03Speaker 3: Roses and micro-cheating. What do you got?
- 31:07Speaker 13: I think she said somebody's flirting with them online. Yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 13: guys are going to always go for that. But I've
- 31:15Speaker 13: been married 35 years and I would never do that
- 31:18Speaker 13: to them. I tell my husband I look at girls
- 31:20Speaker 13: all the time. I was like, Yeah, she set them up.
- 31:24Speaker 16: You tell your husband to look at girls?
- 31:26Speaker 13: Yeah, I tell my husband to look at girls. We've
- 31:28Speaker 13: been together since we were 14. We're in our 50s now.
- 31:32Speaker 13: I tell him to look at beautiful women all the time.
- 31:35Speaker 17: It's like a test, or just because you want him
- 31:38Speaker 17: to enjoy the menu?
- 31:40Speaker 13: Yeah, enjoy the menu.
- 31:41Speaker 28: They're dressed like that.
- 31:42Speaker 11: They're beautiful.
- 31:43Speaker 13: Go ahead and look.
- 31:44Speaker 2: So you'll see a really beautiful woman, and you'll be like, hey, babe,
- 31:48Speaker 2: check her out.
- 31:49Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 18: Oh, my God.
- 31:51Speaker 23: I know I'm not.
- 31:51Speaker 3: B's all that.
- 31:52Speaker 13: She's confident.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Yeah, she's all that.
- 31:55Speaker 16: B has a little Jada Pickett Smith.
- 31:56Speaker 3: No, wait, hey, I got an email this morning. It's
- 31:59Speaker 3: so wild. It says, hey, guys, good morning. My name's Mia.
- 32:02Speaker 9: I'm emailing you because my friends are giving me a
- 32:04Speaker 9: hard time after we were out with our boyfriends, and
- 32:06Speaker 9: they noticed my boyfriend looking at another woman in the restaurant.
- 32:10Speaker 9: In his defense, we were all looking at the other woman.
- 32:12Speaker 9: She looked like a supermodel. Their boyfriends apparently didn't stare
- 32:14Speaker 9: as long as mine did, according to them. They said
- 32:16Speaker 9: it was disrespectful how long he stared at this woman.
- 32:18Speaker 9: I told him I couldn't care less if he looks
- 32:20Speaker 9: at other women, especially if they're very beautiful, as long
- 32:22Speaker 9: as he doesn't touch.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Looking is one thing. Cheating is another. He's a good guy.
- 32:26Speaker 9: And to me, it would be unnatural for him to
- 32:29Speaker 9: not look at another woman from time to time as
- 32:30Speaker 9: long as he doesn't act on it and treats me right.
- 32:32Speaker 9: Do you guys think my philosophy is crazy?
- 32:34Speaker 3: It's pretty understanding.
- 32:35Speaker 16: I think it just says you're super secure in your relationship.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Thanks, B. Maybe you should be. Maybe you
- 32:40Speaker 3: should be like B. She's been married how long?
- 32:42Speaker 13: It's 35 years.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Okay, well, I mean, there's somebody who's got some veteran stripes. Thanks, B.
- 32:47Speaker 13: And I know I'm a tomboy, so if you want
- 32:50Speaker 13: to look at a beautiful woman, go ahead. I look
- 32:53Speaker 13: at guys all the time.
- 32:54Speaker 34: Okay.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Sarah. Sarah, good morning. Hi.
- 32:58Speaker 20: Good morning.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Your thoughts on this War of the Roses. Go ahead.
- 33:02Speaker 15: Well, just, you know, I keep hearing from these other people,
- 33:06Speaker 15: you know. If you're looking and if he's looking, enjoy
- 33:10Speaker 15: all the time you can. Be open about it to
- 33:12Speaker 15: what you guys are doing.
- 33:13Speaker 11: Don't hide it.
- 33:15Speaker 15: Because then there's going to be questions.
- 33:17Speaker 30: Like, why are you, you know, like, why are you, oh, sorry.
- 33:23Speaker 3: What are you doing? Are you shaving? Are you jogging?
- 33:26Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 33:27Speaker 30: No, I'm getting dressed.
- 33:28Speaker 5: It's ready for work.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:31Speaker 9: Are you, like, putting your shirt on over your head
- 33:33Speaker 9: while you're talking to us? Is that the level of
- 33:35Speaker 9: dressing you are?
- 33:36Speaker 15: Something like that.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 33:38Speaker 3: All right. So your thoughts on micro-cheating, then.
- 33:42Speaker 30: Well, just, you know, like I said, you know, just
- 33:45Speaker 30: be honest with each other.
- 33:46Speaker 15: You know, don't hide it, you know.
- 33:49Speaker 20: And, yeah, because, you know, I see it all the
- 33:51Speaker 20: time on social media. You know, people want to, you know,
- 33:54Speaker 20: have these girls, you know, test their husbands, you know,
- 33:56Speaker 20: to see if they message them back, you know, if
- 33:59Speaker 20: they flirt with them, you know, in any sort of way.
- 34:02Speaker 15: It's like, why are you going to test them? You know,
- 34:05Speaker 15: if you have a feeling that he's cheating or micro-cheating,
- 34:08Speaker 15: he's doing it.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:10Speaker 4: Thank you, Sarah.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 34:12Speaker 9: I think it'd be fun, real quick, if you're listening
- 34:13Speaker 9: to us right now, like, what are you doing? She's
- 34:15Speaker 9: getting dressed right now. If you're doing something unique, like,
- 34:18Speaker 9: obviously the phone was in her ear when she was
- 34:21Speaker 9: putting her shirt on, so it was, like, muffled. If
- 34:23Speaker 9: you're listening to us right now, what are you doing? Meanwhile,
- 34:26Speaker 9: we'll talk about War of the Roses. Cassie, good morning.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Your thoughts on War of the Roses?
- 34:30Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 34:31Speaker 27: Yeah, my thoughts on it is.
- 34:36Speaker 27: I don't agree with them liking girls' pictures, especially if they're, like,
- 34:39Speaker 27: undressed or half, you know, not clothed. Because that just
- 34:43Speaker 27: opens a door for somebody to walk in. It opens
- 34:47Speaker 27: a crack.
- 34:48Speaker 30: You don't know what those other women on the other side.
- 34:50Speaker 27: Are thinking, wanting to do. But if you open that crack,
- 34:56Speaker 27: it's a way for them to sneak into your boyfriend's DMs,
- 34:58Speaker 27: your husband's DMs. And again, if you hide it, then
- 35:02Speaker 27: that's a problem. But that just opens the door for
- 35:04Speaker 27: them to go look at your husband's or boyfriend's profile,
- 35:08Speaker 27: see what's on it, you know, like their pictures. And
- 35:10Speaker 27: then it kind of just puts an emotional part in
- 35:14Speaker 27: there that doesn't need to be crossed.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's dangerous territory, right? Don't open the crack.
- 35:21Speaker 27: And that's what a lot of men or women on
- 35:23Speaker 27: both sides look for is just a tiny crack in
- 35:26Speaker 27: a window so they can kind of creep in when
- 35:28Speaker 27: they need to or, oh, let me see what he'll do.
- 35:30Speaker 27: Let me see what she'll do. And then it's just
- 35:32Speaker 27: a way for them to come in.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I mean, she did sort of set him up to fail,
- 35:36Speaker 3: and he failed. I mean, I'm.
- 35:40Speaker 27: Not necessarily agreeing that you have to set up your
- 35:43Speaker 27: boyfriend or husband, but if you think about it and
- 35:46Speaker 27: you think something's.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Going on, it is a test.
- 35:50Speaker 21: And he did fail.
- 35:52Speaker 20: And I don't know.
- 35:54Speaker 27: For me, I would hope that my husband or boyfriend
- 35:57Speaker 27: would pass the test and be like, oh, no, I'm good.
- 36:00Speaker 27: I don't like that picture or unfollow them or whatever.
- 36:03Speaker 27: They know it's not a good idea for them.
- 36:05Speaker 25: To be looking at.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 36:07Speaker 27: I heard the other people. Yeah, I did hear the
- 36:09Speaker 27: other people say, oh, you know, they look at a
- 36:11Speaker 27: girl and they're cheating.
- 36:12Speaker 25: That I don't agree.
- 36:13Speaker 13: I don't agree.
- 36:13Speaker 24: We're human.
- 36:14Speaker 25: We're going to look at.
- 36:15Speaker 27: We're going to look at people as they walk by.
- 36:17Speaker 12: That's natural.
- 36:18Speaker 11: It's a matter of acting.
- 36:19Speaker 3: I love looking at people. I don't think that's the
- 36:21Speaker 3: point of this. Kristen, your thoughts.
- 36:29Speaker 25: Yes. My thoughts are in every relationship, people are going
- 36:32Speaker 25: to have their different boundaries. Like some people are okay
- 36:35Speaker 25: with you looking. Some people are okay with you liking
- 36:37Speaker 25: Instagram posts, whatever. That's not the point. This guy lied.
- 36:40Speaker 25: He lied to.
- 36:41Speaker 10: Her about it.
- 36:42Speaker 25: That's the problem.
- 36:43Speaker 3: That's my cousin.
- 36:43Speaker 10: That was the issue.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 25: And then it was like, oh, it's like a cousin.
- 36:47Speaker 25: She's like my cousin. No, he's a liar.
- 36:50Speaker 3: He's out.
- 36:51Speaker 5: And don't you feel like it's like the way he
- 36:54Speaker 5: so easily lied about it. You're like, no, what else
- 36:56Speaker 5: don't I know about? That's what I would think.
- 36:59Speaker 3: What else?
- 37:00Speaker 12: It just shows.
- 37:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 25: It just shows that he's not in it for her.
- 37:03Speaker 25: He didn't send her the flowers. He lied to her.
- 37:06Speaker 12: This were the roses.
- 37:07Speaker 25: That's what this is about. It's not about, you know,
- 37:10Speaker 25: they could figure out if he was looking, not looking
- 37:12Speaker 25: what people are comfortable with. That's a whole separate issue.
- 37:15Speaker 25: This one is he lied and he didn't even send
- 37:18Speaker 25: her the roses. He clearly was not like for her.
- 37:21Speaker 16: That's a good point.
- 37:22Speaker 17: I mean, I feel like when lies happen in a
- 37:24Speaker 17: relationship and trust is broken, it's really hard.
- 37:26Speaker 3: To get that back. Totally.
- 37:30Speaker 9: So I heard of this thing and I can't remember
- 37:32Speaker 9: the name of it. I was trying to find it,
- 37:33Speaker 9: but guess what? My computer froze.
- 37:35Speaker 3: So there's catfishing, right?
- 37:36Speaker 9: So she catfished him. There's many different levels to this world.
- 37:40Speaker 9: Let's break that down for a minute. She catfished him.
- 37:41Speaker 9: She pretended to be somebody else. There's this other thing
- 37:44Speaker 9: going on. I can't remember the name of the trend.
- 37:46Speaker 9: It's the opposite of catfishing.
- 37:47Speaker 3: What is that?
- 37:48Speaker 9: It's where you post pictures of yourself or whatever when
- 37:50Speaker 9: you go on a date, when you go to a
- 37:52Speaker 9: dating app.
- 37:53Speaker 3: And it is.
- 37:54Speaker 9: Makes yourself look really ugly and unattractive.
- 37:57Speaker 3: So that when you show up on the date, you're like, whoa.
- 38:00Speaker 3: That's actually a good idea. There's a name for it.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I can't believe it.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Because if they like you, then they're going to be
- 38:05Speaker 5: so blown away when you actually show up in person.
- 38:07Speaker 3: That's the point. Not a bad idea.
- 38:09Speaker 9: So you have pictures of yourself with no makeup on
- 38:11Speaker 9: or a bad haircut or whatever. And then fortunately this person–
- 38:16Speaker 9: Decides to click on you and swipe right or left.
- 38:19Speaker 3: They're already a good person. And then you go meet
- 38:20Speaker 3: them and they're.
- 38:20Speaker 16: Like, whoa. It's like reverse catfish.
- 38:23Speaker 9: It's called something like that and I can't find it.
- 38:25Speaker 9: What's the opposite of a catfish? Now my computer's not working.
- 38:29Speaker 2: A dog.
- 38:32Speaker 18: Bird.
- 38:32Speaker 3: You're dog birding them. Kyle just coined it.
- 38:35Speaker 17: That's kind of what they do anyways with these phrases.
- 38:38Speaker 16: There's always a little nickname for them. So that's it.
- 38:40Speaker 16: From now on, they're dog birding them.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Dog birding. What do I do on my computer? Should
- 38:44Speaker 3: I restart it? What do I do?
- 38:46Speaker 16: Usually, like, that's what IT says to you.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Did you restart your computer?
- 38:49Speaker 5: All I know, John Jay, is that nothing that is
- 38:51Speaker 5: electronic works for you the way it does for other people.
- 38:54Speaker 9: Like when I try to click on a thing, it
- 38:55Speaker 9: shuts down the window. I need the IT guy here immediately.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Hey, Kristen. Kristen, thanks for calling in. Thank you.
- 39:02Speaker 9: Got some malware happening over there? Sarah, your thoughts on
- 39:05Speaker 9: war roses.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 39:08Speaker 12: Hi.
- 39:08Speaker 33: So, honestly, like, I feel like she didn't really set them, like,
- 39:14Speaker 33: set them up. But I feel like she tested him,
- 39:17Speaker 33: which honestly was a pretty good thing because he failed.
- 39:20Speaker 33: And I get the whole like looking at other people
- 39:23Speaker 33: and stuff because honestly, like I like to be pretty
- 39:27Speaker 33: aware of my surroundings.
- 39:28Speaker 35: So naturally, I just kind of look around everywhere. And
- 39:34Speaker 35: sometimes I find someone attractive, but obviously I have a boyfriend.
- 39:38Speaker 35: But honestly, if my boyfriend was looking.
- 39:41Speaker 28: At another girl, that's another thing.
- 39:44Speaker 33: But if he's texting her and sending her stuff, that's
- 39:48Speaker 33: another thing that I don't like. Like, I know, like,
- 39:52Speaker 33: I'm very secure in my relationship. I know my boyfriend
- 39:55Speaker 33: would never do anything. Even if I showed her a girl,
- 39:58Speaker 33: he would be, like, either, oh, yeah, she's fine, or
- 40:01Speaker 33: he would say some very unkind things about her. So
- 40:05Speaker 33: I know that he wouldn't do that, but, like, she
- 40:08Speaker 33: kind of had to do what she had to do
- 40:10Speaker 33: because she saw all this stuff, and she's.
- 40:14Speaker 18: Like, hmm.
- 40:15Speaker 33: I should probably test him to make sure he's still
- 40:18Speaker 33: being loyal.
- 40:19Speaker 10: And he failed.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Where are you, Sarah? Where are you right now? What
- 40:23Speaker 3: part of town?
- 40:25Speaker 33: I'm driving to Scottsdale right now. I live in South Mountain.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Did you get any rain in South Mountain last night
- 40:32Speaker 3: or yesterday?
- 40:34Speaker 33: A little bit. It was more of a sprinkle, and
- 40:37Speaker 33: then at night it started kind of pouring down, so yeah.
- 40:40Speaker 9: This friend of mine, he was amazing. He called me
- 40:42Speaker 9: because he knows I have problems in my backyard a lot.
- 40:44Speaker 9: So he called me and goes, hey, I just want
- 40:45Speaker 9: to check in on your house. How's it going? I go,
- 40:47Speaker 9: it's kind of okay right now. And he goes, because
- 40:49Speaker 9: I'm in Mesa. And he sent me a video, and
- 40:51Speaker 9: it was like a lake. It was like a river.
- 40:53Speaker 3: And I was like, I can't believe that's happening in Mesa.
- 40:55Speaker 9: And then I get off the phone with him, and
- 40:57Speaker 9: I go to Instagram, and there's a guy jet skiing
- 40:59Speaker 9: in Mesa.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I was like, whoa. And like paddle boarding.
- 41:02Speaker 9: In the park and all the things. It's so crazy
- 41:05Speaker 9: how it happens. Sarah, thanks for listening. Thank you for
- 41:07Speaker 9: calling in.
- 41:07Speaker 33: Thank you so much.
- 41:09Speaker 9: We need a contestant. We're going to play Minute to
- 41:11Speaker 9: Win It. 877-937-1047. Maybe we'll get into catfishing, too. But
- 41:17Speaker 9: I know that minute to minute is going to take
- 41:19Speaker 9: up all the phone lines. So how do I start
- 41:21Speaker 9: my computer? I don't know.
- 41:23Speaker 3: What's happened? You just got a dead screen over there?
- 41:24Speaker 9: No, like it was like I had all my windows open.
- 41:28Speaker 9: And then when I would click on a window, it
- 41:30Speaker 9: would go away. And then I just X out of
- 41:32Speaker 9: all the windows. And now I don't know how to
- 41:34Speaker 9: find all my websites.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Uh-oh.
- 41:37Speaker 17: Why don't you just go back into Chrome or whatever
- 41:40Speaker 17: your browser is?
- 41:41Speaker 2: And go to history? It'll pull up all your links
- 41:44Speaker 2: back up.
- 41:44Speaker 3: History. Yeah. Browsing history.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Yes.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Import. Here comes Nick. Producer Nick will help you.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I don't know about import, but.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Tell him to move out of the way.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Move.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Can you fix this thing? While we get a contestant.
- 42:01Speaker 13: See.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Go do your thing.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought that flood video was AI because they
- 42:08Speaker 5: fooled me last week when it rained in Scottsdale and
- 42:10Speaker 5: they showed all these cars underwater.
- 42:12Speaker 31: Oh, yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 5: I thought that was real. And then so I saw–
- 42:15Speaker 5: the first thing I saw was the jet skiing in Mesa.
- 42:17Speaker 5: I'm like, ah, that's AI. But then on the news
- 42:19Speaker 5: this morning, like on ABC, they showed like the flooding
- 42:22Speaker 5: in Maricopa, like the national network.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. I wonder if they're falling for the AI.
- 42:27Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 42:27Speaker 3: You know what? The deep fakes are still good anymore.
- 42:29Speaker 3: I don't even know. Okay, so a couple weeks ago,
- 42:31Speaker 3: they were showing like flooding in cactus. 101 in cactus, exactly. Right, right, right.
- 42:35Speaker 3: And that was so AI.
- 42:36Speaker 9: But then I saw after yesterday's floods, I saw 101
- 42:39Speaker 9: in cactus again. That must have been faking because on
- 42:42Speaker 9: the news, I only saw Mesa.
- 42:44Speaker 17: It was like Mesa and different parts of Maricopa County.
- 42:48Speaker 17: I think at the airport, they had to stop the
- 42:50Speaker 17: planes for a little while.
- 42:51Speaker 16: Oh, wow.
- 42:52Speaker 2: It's so wild, though, because I feel like when that
- 42:54Speaker 2: much rain comes down that fast, I just feel like
- 42:57Speaker 2: we're not built for that. We're not built for that
- 43:00Speaker 2: kind of rain.
- 43:01Speaker 16: But that's the rain we get.
- 43:02Speaker 17: It's like we get maybe Las Vegas or dumped on
- 43:06Speaker 17: for like, I don't know, 10, 15 minutes.
- 43:08Speaker 2: And it's like 100 degrees outside.
- 43:09Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 16: I was like waiting for it.
- 43:12Speaker 10: Like.
- 43:13Speaker 17: My daughter's practice got canceled, and then we were waiting
- 43:16Speaker 17: to see if my son's practice got canceled, and they did,
- 43:18Speaker 17: and then it never rained.
- 43:19Speaker 31: Oh, really?
- 43:20Speaker 3: It was weird. The city sometimes is weird.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I was in downtown Phoenix, and it was pouring.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Was it pouring for the Chance the Rapper concert?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Pouring, yes. We actually paid like $ 50 for parking, so
- 43:29Speaker 2: we didn't have to walk in, and it was that bad.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Did he change his name to Chance of Rain? He did.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Good one. I do love some weather jokes. Brandi is
- 43:38Speaker 3: our contestant for Minute the Winning. Good morning, Brandi. Good morning.
- 43:42Speaker 12: Did you get any rain yesterday?
- 43:44Speaker 25: I'm freaking out right now.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Oh, you're freaking out? Did you get rain yesterday, though?
- 43:48Speaker 4: No.
- 43:48Speaker 15: No rain in my house.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Where do you live?
- 43:51Speaker 24: In Surprise.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I guess that was a surprise. I'm on fire right now.
- 43:55Speaker 23: It was a surprise.
- 43:58Speaker 3: All right. So where are you right now?
- 44:01Speaker 11: We're in the parking lot at my son's school. He
- 44:04Speaker 11: asked me to call every morning for a minute to
- 44:05Speaker 11: win it, and I did this morning. So now I'm, like,
- 44:07Speaker 11: freaking out.
- 44:07Speaker 25: I don't want to let him down.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Oh, this is exciting.
- 44:09Speaker 29: It is John Jay.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Is he in the car right now with you? He is.
- 44:13Speaker 29: He's like, is that John Jay?
- 44:14Speaker 11: I was like, yeah, he's freaking out.
- 44:15Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 44:17Speaker 25: Tyler.
- 44:18Speaker 3: All right, Tyler.
- 44:19Speaker 9: Hopefully, Mom, Brandi, you get this. You got a minute
- 44:21Speaker 9: to get 10 questions right and win $ 1, 000.
- 44:23Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 44:26Speaker 2: Peoria Ford right now.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Minute to win it.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Okay, Brandi, I want this for you so bad.
- 44:32Speaker 3: 60 seconds on the clock.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Get them all right and you win $ 1, 000.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 44:36Speaker 5: What woman accused of the 1892 axe murders of her
- 44:40Speaker 5: father and stepmother is the subject of a new Netflix
- 44:43Speaker 5: monster series?
- 44:45Speaker 3: Carrie?
- 44:46Speaker 18: Carrie?
- 44:48Speaker 6: Brandy brandy it just dropped today you guys it's.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Kind of a hard question which is fine i mean
- 44:55Speaker 3: it's not like these are supposed to be.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Easy questions well and carrie the tv show is about
- 44:59Speaker 2: to come out right like pretty.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Soon yeah but that's not based on a real no
- 45:03Speaker 3: i know i.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Know it's lizzie borden but i'm just saying you're.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Right Lizzie Borden, correct.
- 45:08Speaker 16: Lizzie Borden.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Make sure Tyler watches it.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Okay, I got it.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah, when it comes out, make sure Tyler watches it.
- 45:14Speaker 12: Make sure Tyler watches it.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on Netflix.
- 45:15Speaker 12: You know what?
- 45:16Speaker 17: I started watching it this morning. I'm two episodes in,
- 45:19Speaker 17: and I don't know if I want to continue. It's
- 45:22Speaker 17: just not great.
- 45:23Speaker 16: Oh, okay.
- 45:24Speaker 17: So far, it just moves really slow, and it's like
- 45:28Speaker 17: not that gripping.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Ed Gein one, though, that one was kind of boring, too, though,
- 45:32Speaker 2: I felt.
- 45:33Speaker 17: But I liked that one because he was so creepy. Like,
- 45:35Speaker 17: she's not really that creepy.
- 45:36Speaker 9: Well, Brandy, still, you can tell Tyler not to watch it,
- 45:39Speaker 9: but Tyler should watch Obsession.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going to love that. I love you so, so,
- 45:43Speaker 3: so much. Brandy, we're going to give you a Del
- 45:46Speaker 3: Taco gift card for playing.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Okay, awesome.
- 45:50Speaker 11: Thank you so much.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Take Tyler to Del Taco and have a good time. Thanks, Brandy.
- 45:53Speaker 23: Okay.
- 45:55Speaker 9: By the way, yesterday was the season finale of Reacher
- 45:57Speaker 9: on Amazon, which is season four.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I think it's season four of Reacher.
- 46:01Speaker 16: I watched that too.
- 46:02Speaker 10: You did?
- 46:03Speaker 9: I watched it and then there was 10 minutes left
- 46:06Speaker 9: of Reacher and my son comes home from work.
- 46:08Speaker 3: And he hasn't seen it. He's like, don't watch it.
- 46:10Speaker 3: So I missed the last, I haven't watched the last
- 46:12Speaker 3: 10 minutes yet. But what I did.
- 46:13Speaker 17: But I kind of feel like if you got up
- 46:14Speaker 17: to the last 10 minutes, you basically saw it all.
- 46:16Speaker 9: Well, there's 10 minutes left. So I don't know what,
- 46:18Speaker 9: I don't know if it's going to lead into Neegly.
- 46:20Speaker 9: Cause I started watching, I started watching Neegly, which is
- 46:22Speaker 9: a spinoff show, Jack Reacher. And that they dropped all
- 46:26Speaker 9: eight or nine episodes of that. So I put it
- 46:28Speaker 9: on first before I watched the season finale of Reacher.
- 46:30Speaker 9: And when you watch Neegly, the first episode, Reacher's in it.
- 46:33Speaker 9: So I was like, just for fun, I was like, okay, good.
- 46:36Speaker 9: So I know he survives. Yeah, that's good.
- 46:37Speaker 12: Right?
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah. So you're watching Neegly and it's pretty good, man.
- 46:40Speaker 3: It's really good.
- 46:41Speaker 9: So I had to stop that and go back to Reacher.
- 46:43Speaker 9: And I have never seen Reacher get his ass kicked
- 46:45Speaker 9: so much.
- 46:46Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 46:47Speaker 16: And it was by a girl.
- 46:48Speaker 3: It was brutal. It was wild, man. That show's great.
- 46:52Speaker 9: And then I watched Ted Lasso. The new Ted Lasso
- 46:55Speaker 9: came out. And that show, it's such a parody of itself.
- 47:00Speaker 9: It's so not like... You know, it's like I'm watching it.
- 47:04Speaker 9: I just don't, I don't, it's so sad.
- 47:07Speaker 3: You want to love it, but you can't.
- 47:09Speaker 9: I do because season one, season two, there were great episodes,
- 47:11Speaker 9: but it's almost like he's making fun of himself almost
- 47:14Speaker 9: like it's not.
- 47:15Speaker 3: And then they try to throw a little message in it.
- 47:16Speaker 3: And then it's like, I don't know.
- 47:17Speaker 9: It's not whatever, but at any rate, but there was
- 47:21Speaker 9: something in Ted Lasso that I want to do. He
- 47:24Speaker 9: was talking about when he was a football player in college,
- 47:29Speaker 9: his coach made the team take an improv class. to
- 47:33Speaker 9: learn to accept and advance segments and plays. And I
- 47:36Speaker 9: thought we got to do that.
- 47:38Speaker 16: That would be fun. That was a good one.
- 47:39Speaker 9: So I went and I Googled improv coaches here and
- 47:42Speaker 9: I found a guy and I shot him a message.
- 47:43Speaker 9: I haven't heard back from him yet, but if you
- 47:44Speaker 9: are an improv coach and we'd be cool, it'd be
- 47:47Speaker 9: cool if you came here, taught us some improv because
- 47:49Speaker 9: it looked like a lot of fun.
- 47:51Speaker 3: And I was like, wow, way to go. That could
- 47:52Speaker 3: be a good show. We accept in advance. We're going
- 47:56Speaker 3: to get into, you know, it's fantasy football's full on going, right?
- 48:01Speaker 16: Yeah, Thursday night football tonight.
- 48:03Speaker 9: My son, Jake, his fantasy, he lost last season, and
- 48:08Speaker 9: he had to get shot with paintball guns.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Ouch.
- 48:11Speaker 3: So with paintball bullets, and he was brutal. His whole
- 48:13Speaker 3: back was welted. It was terrible.
- 48:14Speaker 9: So this, so far he's winning. He won the first match.
- 48:19Speaker 9: But let me tell you what the bet payoff is.
- 48:22Speaker 9: If you lose in his group of fantasy right now,
- 48:25Speaker 9: You have to do 10 minutes of stand-up at a
- 48:27Speaker 9: comedy club.
- 48:28Speaker 18: Oh, my gosh.
- 48:30Speaker 16: Hilarious.
- 48:31Speaker 3: That's good.
- 48:32Speaker 5: I mean, one minute would feel like an eternity. One
- 48:35Speaker 5: minute would feel like 10 minutes.
- 48:38Speaker 3: That is rough. Isn't that brutal, man? I'll tell you what.
- 48:41Speaker 5: If I owned a club, I would love to be
- 48:43Speaker 5: able to pay off that bet for somebody. What they
- 48:45Speaker 5: lost fantasy football? 10 minutes.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Go. I would love that.
- 48:49Speaker 9: So we thought it would be fun right now because
- 48:51Speaker 9: it's football season. There's all kinds of stuff going on.
- 48:53Speaker 9: We want to get into superstitions, right?
- 48:57Speaker 3: 877-937-1047.
- 48:58Speaker 9: Crazy football superstitions, and then we'll probably get into just
- 49:02Speaker 9: normal superstitions. Just stuff that you're like, oh, my God,
- 49:05Speaker 9: I can't go under a ladder, or I can't do this,
- 49:07Speaker 9: I can't step on a crack, or do you have
- 49:09Speaker 9: to wear the same jersey every day for your team
- 49:10Speaker 9: to win?
- 49:11Speaker 3: That's all coming up.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Getting nothing but a busy signal?
- 49:15Speaker 18: Text JJR.
- 49:16Speaker 21: Then the words call me to 96893 get your voice.
- 49:20Speaker 9: Heard superstitions people get all superstitious in fact I even
- 49:23Speaker 9: made one up myself I was at the airport the
- 49:27Speaker 9: other day and I saw the Cardinals plane with the
- 49:30Speaker 9: logo on the back they had it's an Arizona Cardinals
- 49:32Speaker 9: I was like wow there's the plane and then I
- 49:34Speaker 9: flew back the next day and the plane was still
- 49:36Speaker 9: there and then the Cardinals won and And I was like,
- 49:39Speaker 9: I wonder if I see the plane every time before
- 49:41Speaker 9: a game if they win.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Like I created my own superstition. That's kind of cool.
- 49:44Speaker 3: I was like, if I see their plane, they will
- 49:46Speaker 3: always win.
- 49:47Speaker 9: It's worked one time in a row. But to go
- 49:49Speaker 9: out of my way to go see the plane is great.
- 49:50Speaker 9: So then I thought, what if the owners go, hey, man,
- 49:52Speaker 9: we need you to come see the plane now. And
- 49:54Speaker 9: they pick me up at the station, drive me there,
- 49:55Speaker 9: look at the plane, and come back.
- 49:56Speaker 3: I mean, if you're a good luck charm, that's part
- 49:58Speaker 3: of what you got to do.
- 49:59Speaker 8: I know.
- 49:59Speaker 3: I literally made all that up in my head the
- 50:00Speaker 3: other day. And I thought, wow.
- 50:01Speaker 9: So sports superstitions. Ramona, you got a superstition about sports superstitions?
- 50:07Speaker 34: Yeah, so my brother's Broncos jersey got soaked in natty
- 50:11Speaker 34: light during a comeback win last year. He didn't wash
- 50:16Speaker 34: it before the next game, and they ended up winning again,
- 50:18Speaker 34: so he never washed the jersey again after that. And
- 50:22Speaker 34: he would wear that same nasty, smelly jersey every week
- 50:27Speaker 34: while watching the game. And he spilled buffalo chicken dip,
- 50:31Speaker 34: all different kinds of drinks and suspicious stuff. fluids on
- 50:37Speaker 34: it throughout the season because he was convinced all the
- 50:39Speaker 34: stink was lucky.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Ew.
- 50:42Speaker 5: Why can't he be convinced that cleaning it every time
- 50:44Speaker 5: is the good luck charm?
- 50:45Speaker 3: Wipes off the good luck.
- 50:47Speaker 23: Yeah.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Washes the good luck. What about between seasons?
- 50:49Speaker 17: That's what I was going to say. Now that it's like,
- 50:51Speaker 17: now that, did he wash it in the off season?
- 50:53Speaker 17: Now that we're starting a new season?
- 50:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, could you imagine if not?
- 50:57Speaker 34: Eventually, he was convinced that that was going to like
- 51:00Speaker 34: continue their winning streak, but like they didn't even go
- 51:02Speaker 34: to the Super Bowl.
- 51:02Speaker 29: So, I mean, I hope he's.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Washing it since then.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:06Speaker 3: All right, so he wears a dirty jersey every time.
- 51:08Speaker 10: Dang.
- 51:09Speaker 2: You just got to steal it, Ramona, and just do
- 51:11Speaker 2: it for him.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Thanks, Ramona. Thanks for calling in. Thanks. Regis, let's hear
- 51:15Speaker 3: your sports superstition, or any superstition.
- 51:18Speaker 18: Two years ago, the 49ers were playing a huge game, and,
- 51:22Speaker 18: you know, we were tossing a few back, drinking and
- 51:24Speaker 18: all that, and I was wanting to smoke a bit.
- 51:27Speaker 18: And it just so happened that every time I stepped
- 51:30Speaker 18: out and smoked a cigarette, they would score.
- 51:33Speaker 28: So.
- 51:34Speaker 4: I started smoking.
- 51:36Speaker 18: Low-key every game whenever they were in the red zone.
- 51:39Speaker 18: And eventually, it became like, oh, they're about to score.
- 51:41Speaker 18: I need to go outside and smoke. Then I started
- 51:44Speaker 18: smoking during regular season games and college games and games
- 51:47Speaker 18: I didn't even care about. My friends finally pointed out
- 51:49Speaker 18: that I basically trained myself to associate my team's scoring
- 51:53Speaker 18: with needing a cigarette. And I still swear that if
- 51:57Speaker 18: I quit smoking, my team is going to continue to
- 51:59Speaker 18: start losing. And also, now I like smoking.
- 52:04Speaker 3: God, that's gross.
- 52:06Speaker 2: That's not a good habit to enjoy.
- 52:08Speaker 3: All right. Well, thanks for calling in, Regis.
- 52:12Speaker 18: Thank you, guys.
- 52:13Speaker 9: We want to hear your superstition. What do you live by?
- 52:15Speaker 9: It doesn't have to be sports superstition. It can be anything.
- 52:17Speaker 7: 877-937-1047.
- 52:20Speaker 5: If you have a traffic tip, call 602-374-6300.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Hey, real quick, War of the Roses was this morning. Nicole,
- 52:28Speaker 3: your thoughts on War of the Roses?
- 52:30Speaker 32: Yeah, so I listened to all the callers, obviously, and I.
- 52:36Speaker 11: Do agree with some of the things they were saying.
- 52:38Speaker 32: Like, you kind of did set him up by going
- 52:41Speaker 32: into his DMs and flirting with him, and a normal
- 52:43Speaker 32: man would flirt back and.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Blah, blah, blah. But then I started to think about it.
- 52:47Speaker 32: Like I've had men slide in my DMs and I
- 52:50Speaker 32: don't engage. So like, I think the difference is he
- 52:54Speaker 32: was trying to be active on her social media to.
- 52:57Speaker 13: Get her attention.
- 52:58Speaker 32: And then like the last caller said, the bigger problem
- 53:01Speaker 32: is that he lied about it. So just because someone
- 53:04Speaker 32: slides in your DMs and is flirting, it might be
- 53:06Speaker 32: tempting because you like the attention, but you're the one
- 53:10Speaker 32: in the relationship. So you don't need to engage with them.
- 53:14Speaker 13: You know what I mean?
- 53:15Speaker 4: Like you don't have to engage.
- 53:16Speaker 32: And flirt back just because they're flirting with you, man, woman, whatever.
- 53:20Speaker 4: But the bigger thing is him lying about it for sure.
- 53:24Speaker 3: What are you doing right now, Nicole?
- 53:26Speaker 27: I'm curling my hair.
- 53:28Speaker 9: Earlier I said, what are you doing?
- 53:32Speaker 3: It was funny. Nicole, thanks for listening. Thanks for calling in.
- 53:35Speaker 22: Thanks, guys.
- 53:36Speaker 11: Love you.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Love you too. All right. Superstitions. Superstitions. It's football season. Tammy,
- 53:42Speaker 3: you got one?
- 53:44Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 53:45Speaker 5: Hello.
- 53:45Speaker 28: Go ahead.
- 53:45Speaker 20: Hi.
- 53:47Speaker 13: Hi.
- 53:47Speaker 27: I was talking about the sports superstition.
- 53:50Speaker 3: Yes.
- 53:50Speaker 33: Absolutely wonderful.
- 53:51Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 53:52Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 53:53Speaker 30: I'm sorry.
- 53:53Speaker 25: I was delivering a door dash.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Oh, my God. See, everybody's doing something. What did you deliver?
- 53:58Speaker 3: What food?
- 53:59Speaker 18: Exactly.
- 54:00Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 54:02Speaker 27: It's a chicken thing.
- 54:03Speaker 25: I can't even pronounce it.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Zaxby's.
- 54:05Speaker 13: Yeah, there you go.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Oh, who'd you deliver it to? What's her name and address?
- 54:08Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 54:10Speaker 25: We're out here in Indiana, so.
- 54:12Speaker 3: They don't have addresses there. Just go to the yellow
- 54:15Speaker 3: house with the red door. All right, what's your superstition?
- 54:19Speaker 25: So my superstition, I have a rare Oregon duck bobblehead
- 54:26Speaker 25: that I got when I worked at Target in Portland.
- 54:31Speaker 24: He's got to be watching the TV while the game's playing.
- 54:34Speaker 13: Sure.
- 54:34Speaker 3: That makes sense.
- 54:36Speaker 27: But my grandson messed with.
- 54:38Speaker 25: It last week, and we lost.
- 54:41Speaker 3: He wasn't watching.
- 54:43Speaker 27: He wasn't watching. My two-year-old grandson was playing with him,
- 54:47Speaker 27: and I'm like, no.
- 54:51Speaker 3: That's a good one. And the Ducks lost.
- 54:53Speaker 32: My husband had it for one season because my kid
- 54:57Speaker 32: used to say that we fought over the Ducks on
- 54:59Speaker 32: the divorce more.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Than we did them. Makes sense, Tammy.
- 55:02Speaker 5: I was wondering why they lost that game. I had
- 55:04Speaker 5: no idea your duck wasn't watching.
- 55:05Speaker 4: I'm saying.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Because it didn't make sense. It didn't make sense. They
- 55:08Speaker 3: should have won.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 11: Like, we lost the whole season because I let my
- 55:13Speaker 11: ex-husband have it.
- 55:14Speaker 27: And I'm like, no, you can't have it.
- 55:16Speaker 25: You aren't letting him.
- 55:17Speaker 13: Watch the game.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Tammy, thank you very much. Superstitions. Denise, thanks for holding.
- 55:21Speaker 3: What's your superstition?
- 55:24Speaker 30: My husband swears that I am the worst and best luck.
- 55:28Speaker 30: So for football, anytime I watch the Steelers game, he
- 55:34Speaker 30: says that they lose. And there has not been a
- 55:36Speaker 30: game that I've watched where they've won. So I'm banned
- 55:40Speaker 30: from the living room when football's on.
- 55:43Speaker 3: I'm not allowed.
- 55:44Speaker 30: To i'm allowed to go through the living room during
- 55:48Speaker 30: commercial time because the the other team scored while i
- 55:52Speaker 30: had to go to the bathroom and i crossed the
- 55:54Speaker 30: living room and they scored and he was like you're
- 55:56Speaker 30: gonna have to wait and i'm like now i have
- 55:58Speaker 30: scheduled like bathroom.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Times what what did you do is it okay if
- 56:02Speaker 5: i pee do you have to ask permission to walk
- 56:04Speaker 5: through the.
- 56:04Speaker 30: Room Yeah, so I'm coming in. He's like, wait, they're
- 56:09Speaker 30: about to score. And so I literally have to wait
- 56:11Speaker 30: in the kitchen, and then they don't score. And then
- 56:14Speaker 30: he's like, okay, you can come through, and then I
- 56:16Speaker 30: can go. And then for baseball, we went to the
- 56:22Speaker 30: Cubs versus Diamondbacks game, and we're Cubs fans.
- 56:25Speaker 16: I know.
- 56:26Speaker 30: I'm so sorry. And they won. We didn't– well, I
- 56:30Speaker 30: didn't watch the next game the following day, and I
- 56:32Speaker 30: don't know if you heard– the Cubs got destroyed by
- 56:36Speaker 30: the Diamondbacks. So now he forces me to watch the
- 56:39Speaker 30: Cubs game because every time I watch it, they win.
- 56:43Speaker 10: Wow.
- 56:43Speaker 30: So even when I'm working.
- 56:45Speaker 24: He sets the TV up.
- 56:47Speaker 30: He puts everything on for me. He's like, okay, you're good.
- 56:49Speaker 12: You're good.
- 56:50Speaker 30: Okay, I'm going to leave now so you can work.
- 56:52Speaker 11: But he makes sure that the game is on for me.
- 56:54Speaker 3: You got a lot of responsibility.
- 56:57Speaker 30: Yeah i'm just like okay i'll watch but then they
- 56:59Speaker 30: like the other day they just flew that like they
- 57:03Speaker 30: just destroyed the other team so he's like you're watching
- 57:06Speaker 30: every single game i'm like okay i'm sorry that's.
- 57:09Speaker 9: Great i love your husband that's so funny thank you
- 57:11Speaker 9: for calling in i love it thanks denise.
- 57:13Speaker 30: And then um i have one more thing a regular
- 57:16Speaker 30: superstition yeah what do you got.
- 57:19Speaker 22: So I think this is.
- 57:21Speaker 30: A Hispanic thing. When you tilt the salt, you're supposed
- 57:24Speaker 30: to do a little X or something on the salt
- 57:28Speaker 30: that you dropped.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 57:29Speaker 30: And then you're supposed to put a little bit of salt.
- 57:32Speaker 30: My aunt is very superstitious, so she knocked the salt over.
- 57:37Speaker 30: She did the little square thingy on the table. She
- 57:41Speaker 30: poured a little bit of salt, and you're supposed to...
- 57:43Speaker 30: put it behind your back or something, but she wasn't
- 57:46Speaker 30: paying attention. And she just threw the entire salt shaker.
- 57:49Speaker 9: You're supposed to put the sign of the cross.
- 57:52Speaker 3: You do sign of the cross in the, in the salt.
- 57:55Speaker 3: And then you throw the salt over your shoulder.
- 57:58Speaker 30: Yes, but she's through the salt shaker.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Thanks Denise. Joanna, Joanna, what's your superstition?
- 58:04Speaker 28: Um, my grandma used to tell me when I was,
- 58:07Speaker 28: when we were younger, that, um, if there were spiders
- 58:10Speaker 28: early in your house, like in the summer, that it
- 58:13Speaker 28: was going to be really cold soon and that you're
- 58:14Speaker 28: going to have an early winter.
- 58:16Speaker 5: That's probably right, because the spiders are probably looking for
- 58:19Speaker 5: someplace warm to go anyway.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Is that a superstition or is that a fact? That
- 58:22Speaker 3: might be science.
- 58:23Speaker 24: I don't know.
- 58:24Speaker 28: I'm not sure, but this is also the grandma that
- 58:26Speaker 28: said that she did not want to live in the
- 58:29Speaker 28: 90s whatsoever, and she passed away January 30th, 1989. So
- 58:33Speaker 28: I always believed what she told us when.
- 58:35Speaker 11: We were little.
- 58:36Speaker 3: She didn't want to live in the 90s like the
- 58:38Speaker 3: decade the 90s or her age in the 90s?
- 58:40Speaker 29: No, in her decade.
- 58:42Speaker 28: She was like 65 when she passed.
- 58:43Speaker 3: What if the universe didn't understand her? She had to
- 58:45Speaker 3: be clearer. She said she didn't want to be around.
- 58:48Speaker 3: She didn't want to see grunge music. Wow. Thanks, Joanna.
- 58:54Speaker 23: You're welcome.
- 58:55Speaker 3: There's a text here that, to me, is, again, just
- 58:58Speaker 3: common sense. It's not a superstition.
- 58:59Speaker 9: But this text says, I will not have a price
- 59:02Speaker 9: to anything I buy end up with 666. I tell
- 59:05Speaker 9: the teller to add anything to get off that number.
- 59:07Speaker 3: Of course. To me, that's common sense. Sarah, hi, what's
- 59:11Speaker 3: your superstition?
- 59:12Speaker 14: My superstition isn't like a negative one, but I have
- 59:17Speaker 14: one where if I see three missing headlights in a row,
- 59:20Speaker 14: I have to double tap my steering wheel and then
- 59:23Speaker 14: tap the windshield and then double one more down on
- 59:26Speaker 14: the steering wheel.
- 59:27Speaker 24: And then I get to make a wish.
- 59:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to steal that. I'm going to use
- 59:30Speaker 3: that as my own because that's got to be something.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Did you say it again?
- 59:33Speaker 16: I know, I'm like, how many double taps?
- 59:35Speaker 3: Yeah, what do we do?
- 59:36Speaker 14: You double tap once on the steering wheel and then
- 59:38Speaker 14: you go up and you tap the windshield and then
- 59:40Speaker 14: you come back down and just once tap the steering wheel.
- 59:43Speaker 3: So four taps, four taps all together. Four taps all together.
- 59:47Speaker 14: Double tap one up and one down.
- 59:49Speaker 3: But you got to see three missing headlights.
- 59:50Speaker 28: In a row.
- 59:52Speaker 23: Three in a row.
- 59:52Speaker 12: And if you get out of the car, then the
- 59:54Speaker 12: game starts over.
- 59:55Speaker 9: Three messy headlights in a row has got to be
- 59:57Speaker 9: kind of hard, kind of random, I would think.
- 1:00:00Speaker 27: It's not that hard, actually.
- 1:00:01Speaker 23: I'm like, oh, you're going to get pulled over.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: No, I mean, it's good. Anyway, thank you, Sarah. That
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: is a very unique situation.
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: Wait, can I tell you one more thing?
- 1:00:08Speaker 18: Sure.
- 1:00:08Speaker 28: Can I tell you one more thing?
- 1:00:09Speaker 23: So I was the one that got to call the
- 1:00:11Speaker 23: other day and talk to Wendy, and she was amazing.
- 1:00:14Speaker 23: But I wanted to tell you, and this is like
- 1:00:16Speaker 23: no joke, I even sent you a text message with
- 1:00:18Speaker 23: a picture afterwards.
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: I was on the freeway.
- 1:00:20Speaker 23: I was just going to work. I was getting on
- 1:00:22Speaker 23: the I-10 from the 17.
- 1:00:24Speaker 24: And as soon as I got off the.
- 1:00:26Speaker 23: Phone with Dylan, she was telling me thank you for
- 1:00:28Speaker 23: waiting and all.
- 1:00:28Speaker 27: That good stuff.
- 1:00:29Speaker 23: And all of a sudden, I look down, and my
- 1:00:31Speaker 23: car is telling me, you need air in your tire
- 1:00:34Speaker 23: right now.
- 1:00:34Speaker 24: And I was like, what?
- 1:00:35Speaker 23: And then I could hear my flat tire. I had
- 1:00:38Speaker 23: a blowout on the freeway. So as soon as I
- 1:00:41Speaker 23: got off the phone with Wendy, my sister was like, mm-hmm, girl,
- 1:00:43Speaker 23: I sure did put a hex on you.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:45Speaker 23: I am going to reverse that curse. I'm going to
- 1:00:48Speaker 23: do that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: You're talking about Wendy the witch who said to reverse
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: the hex that your sister who passed away gave you
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: a little bit of, like, she's throwing shade.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: On your life.
- 1:00:58Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:00:59Speaker 23: And literally, and it was not, like, no joke, like,
- 1:01:02Speaker 23: I literally was on the phone with her when I
- 1:01:04Speaker 23: looked down and I just hung up and it was like,
- 1:01:07Speaker 23: you need air now. And I was like, what? And
- 1:01:09Speaker 23: then I could just hear it. It was making that
- 1:01:12Speaker 23: terrible noise that it makes when you've got a flat tire.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, Good job.
- 1:01:16Speaker 23: I was talking about her.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Better go find an ocean.
- 1:01:20Speaker 9: When my car tells me that I need air, I
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: ignore it for three weeks.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Thanks, Sarah. Drive safe.
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: Thanks for calling in. We got Disney tickets to give away.
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: We need caller 104 at 877-937-1047. You know what I
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: thought would be kind of interesting? Something different to do
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: on the radio if you want to try it. Like,
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: we wait for caller 104 right now. I have to
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: pee really bad. What if the three of you guys
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: talk for a while, wait until we get to caller 104,
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: I'm going to go pee and come right back. Let's
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: stay live on the radio. I dare you.
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: What the hell? Play the top of the hour. Play
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: the top of the hour. I'm going to go pee.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Come back. Exciting radio. What can you get? What can
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: the three of you guys talk about while I go pee?
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Can't do it, huh? Boy, you guys need that improv
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: class back. I want to get that improv guy in
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: here ASAP. We'll probably talk.
- 1:02:01Speaker 16: About your bathroom habits.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: That's fine. And we could also play the song that
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: we're supposed to play, too.
- 1:02:06Speaker 12: See?
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Come on. Let's move forward and see. What can the
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: three of you talk about while I go pee?
- 1:02:10Speaker 17: We could talk about Peyton's night last night.
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: That's a great idea. So you play the top of
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: the hour. I'm going to go pee.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Peyton, let's see. Dylan, what color are you at right now?
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: What number are you at?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: 22.
- 1:02:23Speaker 12: 22.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: By the time I go pee, you guys are probably
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: going to come back and be at like 8.
- 1:02:26Speaker 34: Okay.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: You're going to need to run. Yeah, okay. Go do
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: your thing. Go do your thing. First of all, this.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: KZZP Mesa Phoenix.
- 1:02:35Speaker 30: 104.7 KISS FM.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: An iHeartRadio station. Guaranteed human. I want to hear about
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: Chance the Rapper last night. How was it?
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Honestly... Rob, I'm not exaggerating. Last night when I went
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: to bed, I was like, this is probably top five
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: shows ever.
- 1:02:49Speaker 16: Really?
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: I woke up this morning and I was like, probably
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: top three.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: It was such a good show.
- 1:02:55Speaker 16: What changed overnight?
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: I think the fact that I just.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I kept waking up and thinking about the show. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: just was like, I don't know why I just felt
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: like so like, it was so fun. It was so cool.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: It was so, it seemed as if everyone was locked in.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Everyone was singing. Did you do the whole album? He
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: didn't do his whole album. He did some of his
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: newer songs and then he also did some of his
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: throwback songs. So basically this tour is the coloring book tour,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: which is the 10 year anniversary of this album. And
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: this is an album that really changed like Chance the Rapper.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Like he he I mean, he was big before, but
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: he really blew up. He had a ton of crazy
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: features on that album. Justin Bieber future like it was
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: just off the charts. It was all over the place.
- 1:03:38Speaker 16: Were you kind of hoping he was going to bring
- 1:03:40Speaker 16: out one of those features? Like, you know how artists
- 1:03:41Speaker 16: do that? They always surprise. There comes Justin Bieber.
- 1:03:44Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Just kidding. A hundred percent. I was hoping that, but
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: it felt like we were right there. And I got
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: to tell you, it was like. So Chance the Rapper,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: he's like your rapper, but he kind of gives gospel
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he does.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: He's very... He preaches.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: But he's like straight up Chicago and there's a lot
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: of that influence in his music and all that.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He's dope. He had gone through some things before he
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: devoted his life to Christ and then completely changed his life.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: And that's what he says this album was. And so
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: there was times where he was performing and then he
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: literally started preaching. And I was like... I feel like
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: I'm in church.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: It kind of like lit a fire in me.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I was like, Oh my gosh.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I was like, if I could find a church that
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: makes me feel like I'm at this concert right now,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I would be there every Sunday.
- 1:04:29Speaker 16: He needs to make chances. Church chances.
- 1:04:31Speaker 18: Church.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: He literally was in the whole show. He was like,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: I'm going to make you guys my choir. So he
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: would literally preach and we would sing back to him.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: And he did his song Sunday candy, which is, uh,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: from his band before he was chance to rapper. And, uh,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: I didn't realize that was a deep cut, but I
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: was shocked that nobody knew the lyrics to Sunday Candy.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: So anyone else that's going to Chance to Rap, you
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: better know the lyrics because he was doing crowd work.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: He was going up to people and singing.
- 1:04:54Speaker 16: Do you think he was disappointed? He was like waiting
- 1:04:56Speaker 16: for everyone to know. It's like one, just Peyton in
- 1:04:59Speaker 16: the crowd.
- 1:04:59Speaker 13: It was me.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I sing every single word.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Let's see what number we're at right now. Oh, hey,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: welcome back.
- 1:05:03Speaker 19: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:05:04Speaker 16: Sorry, we were just in the middle of a conversation.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: You're calling 97.
- 1:05:07Speaker 16: 97.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: All right, all right. Yeah, I repeat really quick.
- 1:05:12Speaker 16: You're calling 100.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: I rushed. I have a couple of drops in my pants.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Come on now. They're khaki pants. But I was in
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: a hurry. That is the worst pants for that. I know.
- 1:05:22Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Caller 104 is on line 40.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: Caller 104. You get three of the 10 magic words
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: we gave you yesterday. You win tickets to Disneyland.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry. What line did you say?
- 1:05:33Speaker 16: 40.
- 1:05:34Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: She said 40.
- 1:05:35Speaker 34: Okay.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Hold on. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: Good morning, John Jane Rich. Can I help you?
- 1:05:45Speaker 13: Yeah, what color am I?
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: You are color 104.
- 1:05:51Speaker 13: Oh, fantastic.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: What's your name?
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: God.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: God? You're God? Are you our Lord and Savior? No, Scott. Oh, Scott.
- 1:06:02Speaker 18: Scott.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Scott. Hey, Scott. What part of town are you in
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: right now? North Phoenix. Right on, dude. Well, you're color 104, man.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: You're color 104.
- 1:06:11Speaker 34: Mm-hmm.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 1:06:14Speaker 34: Okay.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: That's part one. Now you got to give us three
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: of the 10 magic words. Okay. Potion.
- 1:06:23Speaker 18: Yes.
- 1:06:26Speaker 12: Riven.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: And star.
- 1:06:31Speaker 18: Yes.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: You got it, Scott. You win.
- 1:06:34Speaker 20: All right.
- 1:06:37Speaker 16: You're going to Disneyland.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: What are you doing? What are you doing this morning?
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Where are you?
- 1:06:41Speaker 13: I'm just sitting in my house calling you.
- 1:06:43Speaker 15: I've been trying to do this for a long time.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: All right. Well, you're going, buddy. You got tickets, and
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: you're also throwing the hopper to win the grand prize,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: which is four three-day, one park-per-day passes in Hotel of
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: the Disneyland Resort, man. Congratulations, Scott.
- 1:06:57Speaker 13: Thank you very much.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Hold on a line. Scott just went.
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: And by the way, the next time we do this, Well,
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: the next magic word is coming up in less than
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: two hours. 10.05, all the way until, I don't know
- 1:07:10Speaker 9: how many we do, 10, 11, 12 of them. We
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: do 10 of them. So whatever the math is on that, right?
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: So you collect as many magic words as you can.
- 1:07:18Speaker 9: And then tomorrow at 8 a.m.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: We'll be looking for color 104.
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: Hey, Mary, you got a superstition? We're talking about, you know,
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: it's football season. Everyone's got these sports superstitions. What do you.
- 1:07:29Speaker 34: Got?
- 1:07:31Speaker 28: So.
- 1:07:33Speaker 29: I generally try to avoid watching the game before I
- 1:07:35Speaker 29: see them because I'm a Seahawks fan. I know that's
- 1:07:39Speaker 29: kind of blasphemous, but I try to not watch the
- 1:07:43Speaker 29: game if I'm at home. And if I'm at the game,
- 1:07:46Speaker 29: I wear all the gear.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: So by being a fan, you're a fan by not
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: watching the game?
- 1:07:55Speaker 29: Yes, because I have terrible luck.
- 1:07:57Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: I think that's tough.
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: When you're a fan of something and you don't watch
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: it because they're going to lose if you watch it,
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: then it's tough.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I wouldn't like that.
- 1:08:07Speaker 34: It is.
- 1:08:08Speaker 18: It is.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Thank you, Mary.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: There's a text here about Dylan. When you call our show,
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: Dylan picks up. And I agree with this text. The
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: girl that calls out the caller numbers, which is your
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: caller 104, she has such a great voice. She should
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: work for Audible.
- 1:08:26Speaker 16: What's that?
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: Oh, the reading the books. Yeah.
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: Somebody else says 666 is considered good luck in Chinese culture.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Well, I'm not there. I'm here.
- 1:08:36Speaker 16: Here means Satan.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Which is, you know, not great.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: In fact, I filled up my car with gas and
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: I had 666 miles.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: No way. So I drove off right away. I'm like,
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: I got to get this down.
- 1:08:50Speaker 17: I kind of like how Chinese culture has taken that
- 1:08:52Speaker 17: and made it a good thing.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: Yeah, good for them.
- 1:08:54Speaker 16: Like the number 13.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Taylor Swift changed that.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: How many gallons of gas does your car hold?
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: Not many.
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: It just is really good on gas. Isn't that cool?
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: A couple days ago, it was four or five days ago,
- 1:09:07Speaker 9: I had a pimple forming on my lip. And when
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: I was a kid, my mom would tell me, don't
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: pop your pimple. And then, of course, when it got ripe,
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: she would want to pop my pimple. So I was
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: trying really hard not to pop this pimple because, you know,
- 1:09:19Speaker 9: when you do it, it gets, you know, red, especially
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: when you do it too early. It stays visible a
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: lot longer. And sure enough, man, I was trying to
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: dry it out with alcohol and everything. And now it's
- 1:09:27Speaker 9: just this little frigging red dot and it's really annoying.
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: And then I see this video that's trending. This woman
- 1:09:33Speaker 9: claims she didn't get a job after she interviewed because
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: she had a massive pimple on her lip.
- 1:09:40Speaker 22: I get to the interview and the guy's like, hi, like,
- 1:09:42Speaker 22: welcome to meet you. And I'm like, hi, nice to
- 1:09:44Speaker 22: meet you. I see his eyes look exactly like they look,
- 1:09:47Speaker 22: they go down. And then I had to bring up
- 1:09:49Speaker 22: the pimple. So I was like, also, like, please don't mind, like,
- 1:09:52Speaker 22: the big pimple on my lip. Like, it literally popped
- 1:09:54Speaker 22: out out of nowhere. And he was, like, kind of laughing.
- 1:09:56Speaker 22: He was like, yeah, like, no worries about it. Like,
- 1:09:58Speaker 22: it happens, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: The day after the.
- 1:10:00Speaker 22: Interview, in the morning, I get an email saying, And
- 1:10:03Speaker 22: they freaking rejected me because of my pimple. I can't
- 1:10:06Speaker 22: even make this up. It says something about, like, we
- 1:10:08Speaker 22: take pride in appearance or something. I was like, are
- 1:10:10Speaker 22: you joking me? Like, they said it in the most
- 1:10:12Speaker 22: subtle way. It was about the pimple.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Subtle. Subtle way. That sucks, though.
- 1:10:17Speaker 16: That's wild that they would say that's the reason.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: I wouldn't have hired her because she said subtle.
- 1:10:22Speaker 16: Maybe say she's not qualified or something.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Yeah, that's probably a real reason.
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: So my pimple last night, I have to tape a
- 1:10:29Speaker 9: podcast today, you know, the highly successful John J. Van
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: Ness podcast, which is also very camera driven, lots of
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: video and stuff. And I was asking my wife, is
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: she having that Aquaphor? Because Aquaphor like heals skin. And
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: I thought if I put it on last night before
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: I go to bed, my pimple could be gone. And
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: it was downstairs.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: I was like, I'm not going downstairs. I'm going to
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: forget it.
- 1:10:48Speaker 9: And then Blake says, my wife, she goes, maybe Peyton
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: has one of those little star things you can put
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: on your lip.
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Can I put one on my lip?
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I definitely can give you a pimple patch. I
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: have one here, I think. It's not a star, though.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: Will it stay on the whole, like, I want to
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: wear it in the podcast. Let me see.
- 1:11:02Speaker 34: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:03Speaker 18: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: If I put it on today, right now, because it's
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: medicine too, right? Or no?
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it has like hydrochloric acid in it.
- 1:11:10Speaker 16: But now it's not a pimple anymore. Now it's like
- 1:11:13Speaker 16: a wound.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Still though, I want to put it on for my podcast.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: It'll still help. And it helps hide the redness.
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: So I want to put it on today whenever you
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: give it to me. But it won't fall off.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Well, let's test it for the rest of the show.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: We'll see.
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: Because I want to be able to do this podcast
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: later when it drops in a couple weeks and there's
- 1:11:29Speaker 9: this thing on my face.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: I think it's funny. I think it's funny.
- 1:11:33Speaker 17: What would be funny is if you were in the
- 1:11:34Speaker 17: middle of the interview and it just kind of like.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: Melissa, you got a superstition. Yes, I do.
- 1:11:41Speaker 21: So back when I was in high school, me and
- 1:11:43Speaker 21: my friends, we used to like when we would make
- 1:11:45Speaker 21: it through a yellow light, we would kiss the back
- 1:11:47Speaker 21: of our two fingers and like touch the roof of
- 1:11:49Speaker 21: our car as like a thank you for making or
- 1:11:52Speaker 21: for letting me go through a yellow light safely.
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:11:55Speaker 21: And I've always done it my whole entire life, like
- 1:11:57Speaker 21: since then. I'm 36 years old now. And I, like,
- 1:12:00Speaker 21: recently tried to stop, and I can't. Like, I go
- 1:12:04Speaker 21: through a yellow light, and I'm like, oh, my gosh,
- 1:12:05Speaker 21: I have to do it. I have to do it.
- 1:12:06Speaker 21: So I cannot stop myself. So I'm not, like, superstitious,
- 1:12:09Speaker 21: but I am, like, a little stitious.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Ritualistic. Yeah. A little stitious. Yeah. Don't stop it. We're
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: going to pick that one up, too. That sounds good.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Now we've got a lot of new stuff to do
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: in our cars, thanks to listeners.
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: We've got Harry Styles tickets in less than 20 minutes.
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: Kanye West tickets on the line as well. We're going
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: to get some entertainment news. Kyle Payne, like, what's coming up?
- 1:12:26Speaker 17: Kim Kardashian just won a court case, was awarded $ 1.
- 1:12:30Speaker 17: I'll tell you whether or not she was pleased with
- 1:12:31Speaker 17: that next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Are you my friend?
- 1:12:35Speaker 20: Are we locked in?
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: So we got these Disneyland tickets we're giving away.
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: You got a list for the magic word, and we'll
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: do it a little after 10 this morning.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: There's a text here that says, every.
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: Day that I'm not caller 104, I die a little inside.
- 1:12:49Speaker 30: Oh, no.
- 1:12:50Speaker 16: Oh, how sad. Well, hopefully it's you tomorrow.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Kyle Payne, what's trending in entertainment news?
- 1:12:55Speaker 17: Tom Cruise did this interview with GQ and they asked
- 1:12:57Speaker 17: him if he fears death because he does all these
- 1:12:59Speaker 17: like death defying stunts, right?
- 1:13:00Speaker 16: You're like, oh my gosh, aren't you ever afraid? And
- 1:13:03Speaker 16: he was like, you know what?
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 1:13:05Speaker 16: I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid to be afraid.
- 1:13:08Speaker 17: And he is, he's getting up there in age. And
- 1:13:10Speaker 17: when the interviewer actually brought up his age, Tom Cruise just.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Laughed it off. Turned 64 last week.
- 1:13:17Speaker 33: Yeah.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Did that mean anything to you? 64.
- 1:13:19Speaker 31: 64.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Does it change the way you think about anything? I
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: once heard.
- 1:13:23Speaker 16: It's just like, no.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Does it change anything? When you're looking at this, does
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: it like, it's like, man, it doesn't at all. I
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: think the reason I was asking was... Here's the thing.
- 1:13:35Speaker 31: I don't look at, I'm living my life and I
- 1:13:38Speaker 31: have always dreams, but I also know to accomplish those dreams,
- 1:13:43Speaker 31: it takes effort and you need to understand life and
- 1:13:46Speaker 31: skills and it's a constant learning experience.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: So I watched this interview.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: And Tom Cruise is making fun of the interviewer right there,
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: but doesn't realize he's making fun of the interviewer.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: And the interviewer goes, I like how you just made
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: fun of me. And Tom Cruise, he's like, what are
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: you talking about?
- 1:14:00Speaker 16: Devastating impression.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: I'll remember that. And Tom Cruise was like, what, what? Like, what?
- 1:14:04Speaker 16: Cause he's like, he's like, Is that a change in anything?
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Is that a change in my age? And the guy's like, well,
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: you made fun of me. But Tom doesn't realize that
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: he made fun of the guy.
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:14:14Speaker 17: He just thinks there's always another dream to chase. He's like, no,
- 1:14:18Speaker 17: it's not about the age. And he has no intentions
- 1:14:21Speaker 17: of slowing down anytime soon. Now, you might have seen
- 1:14:23Speaker 17: Tom Cruise recently sitting next to Taylor Swift at Travis Kelsey's.
- 1:14:26Speaker 16: Game at his Chiefs game.
- 1:14:28Speaker 17: Well, that topic came up between Travis and his brother
- 1:14:31Speaker 17: Jason on their New Heights podcast. And it's funny because
- 1:14:34Speaker 17: I feel like Jason is like every man's man, like
- 1:14:38Speaker 17: the every person's person, because he brought up exactly what
- 1:14:41Speaker 17: I was thinking when Travis Kelsey is just nonchalantly talking
- 1:14:46Speaker 17: about Tom Cruise by just calling him on just the
- 1:14:49Speaker 17: first name basis.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: That's the thing about Tom is you can just kind
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: of hang with him and get some cool insight because
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: he's so knowledgeable on everything.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: The fact that you call him Tom is crazy to me.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: What do you call him, Mr. Cruise?
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I feel like when somebody gets that famous, you just
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: call the person Tom Cruise.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: You can't just call him Tom. This was what we had.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: We had to, like, break that habit of your daughters.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: When they got to meet Aunt Tay-Tay, they were calling
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: her Taylor Swift.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Taylor Swift, can I do this?
- 1:15:14Speaker 12: Taylor Swift.
- 1:15:15Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 25: Adorable.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: It was definitely Tom Cruise for the first two times,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: but then him coming to the game and us having
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: a sit down right here.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: I mean, that's my guy, Tom.
- 1:15:24Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: Jason Kelsey is totally right. He's not Tom. You're right, Colin.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: It's like, oh, yeah.
- 1:15:29Speaker 16: Oh, Tom, you and Tom.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:15:31Speaker 16: Yeah, you and Tom. And then so adorable that it's like.
- 1:15:34Speaker 17: Travis Kelty's in this weird position where it's like a
- 1:15:38Speaker 17: few years ago, football fans may have known his name,
- 1:15:40Speaker 17: but the world didn't. But now he's rubbing elbows with
- 1:15:44Speaker 17: Tom Cruise and is married to Taylor Swift to the
- 1:15:47Speaker 17: point where his.
- 1:15:48Speaker 16: Nieces called her Taylor Swift.
- 1:15:50Speaker 17: But now they just call her Aunt Tay-Tay, which I
- 1:15:52Speaker 17: think is a very cute little nickname for her. Sydney
- 1:15:54Speaker 17: Sweeney has found herself in controversy once again. Another ad controversy.
- 1:15:58Speaker 17: We talked about this a little while ago. The company
- 1:16:00Speaker 17: Novig hired her. It's like a sports betting site. And
- 1:16:03Speaker 17: in the ad, she has, like, all different sports balls
- 1:16:07Speaker 17: covering up her boobs.
- 1:16:08Speaker 16: It's very sexy.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: Think you know sports? Prove it.
- 1:16:13Speaker 16: Novick is just sports.
- 1:16:17Speaker 18: So they wanted a show.
- 1:16:19Speaker 19: Just sports.
- 1:16:20Speaker 17: So apparently there are a lot of actual female athletes
- 1:16:24Speaker 17: that do not like this that say, wow, that's kind
- 1:16:28Speaker 17: of like a kick in the face because they're thinking
- 1:16:30Speaker 17: it's turning women's bodies into the focus instead of athletic ability.
- 1:16:34Speaker 17: Sydney Sweeney and the company were like, it was kind
- 1:16:36Speaker 17: of just meant to be playful and fun and get
- 1:16:39Speaker 17: people talking about sports.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: Well, it did that.
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: Let me tell you something. Nobody ever heard of Novig.
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: Before five days ago. So the ad did its job,
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: whether it offended athletes or not. They knew it was
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: going to be spicy. They knew people were going to
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: be freaking out and showing it on the news.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they just didn't care. That's a great ad. That's
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: what they wanted. And it's really done well. It's not, like, dirty.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: She's just... It's very... Classy.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: I mean, she has a different kind of sex appeal,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: so I get it.
- 1:17:03Speaker 18: But, yeah.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Julia Stiles, she got the last laugh during her Dancing
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: with the Stars debut. She shut down some old shade
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: from Andy Cohen. So back in the day, Andy Cohen said, like,
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Julia Stiles, like, isn't the greatest dancer. And after her
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: performance on Dancing with the Stars, Derek Hough jumped up
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: and yelled this live on the air.
- 1:17:21Speaker 10: Andy Cohen, you can eat it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so basically Andy caught wind.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: I think Andy would.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, possibly. But he like apologized to Julia Stiles
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: on his show and basically was like, yeah, foot in mouth.
- 1:17:36Speaker 16: My bad, girl.
- 1:17:37Speaker 17: You're killing it. I feel like you've got to love
- 1:17:39Speaker 17: Derek Hough as a judge. And he did something like
- 1:17:41Speaker 17: we talked a little bit about the very first night.
- 1:17:43Speaker 17: The season opener of Dancing with the Stars was a
- 1:17:45Speaker 17: little bit messy and he had a total brain glitch.
- 1:17:48Speaker 17: because Tyler Cameron was dancing. Now, I'm emphasizing his name.
- 1:17:53Speaker 17: Tyler Cameron was dancing. And afterwards, this was Derek Hough's, like,
- 1:17:59Speaker 17: advice for him or, you know, like, critique.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Dylan, you have this Patrick Swayze aura about you.
- 1:18:07Speaker 16: Tyler Cameron is not Dylan.
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: Sounds like Rich.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Like, Rich would be the judge.
- 1:18:13Speaker 13: Totally.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: I've done that probably a hundred times.
- 1:18:15Speaker 16: Everyone's like, brain glitch, but, like.
- 1:18:18Speaker 17: I love, like, if you don't follow Derek Hough on
- 1:18:20Speaker 17: social media, I feel like you should.
- 1:18:22Speaker 16: He's very funny.
- 1:18:23Speaker 17: So he actually took that in stride and like went
- 1:18:25Speaker 17: and like literally taped a, like a reel where he
- 1:18:28Speaker 17: walks around the set of Dancing with the Stars calling
- 1:18:30Speaker 17: everyone the wrong name.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Oh, that's funny.
- 1:18:33Speaker 16: So he was just like, yeah, I did it. Let's
- 1:18:35Speaker 16: have a little fun. Let's play with it.
- 1:18:36Speaker 17: Now when it comes to reality shows, this one I'm very,
- 1:18:39Speaker 17: very looking forward to. Five years after leaving The Bachelor,
- 1:18:43Speaker 17: Chris Harrison is officially back doing.
- 1:18:46Speaker 16: What we all know him for, helping somebody find a
- 1:18:49Speaker 16: wife on television.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Rose's faith, true love lasts forever.
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: The vow, a new series about finding true love coming
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: this November.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: You guys like.
- 1:18:59Speaker 16: That little dig at The Bachelor?
- 1:19:01Speaker 17: Rose's fade, little dig there, because that's where he.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Used to work.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: I got him confused with Chris Hansen. No, Chris Harrison.
- 1:19:06Speaker 17: That used to host The Bachelor for years and years
- 1:19:08Speaker 17: and years, and they got rid of him. And here's
- 1:19:10Speaker 17: the thing, now he's back, and it's going to be
- 1:19:12Speaker 17: on Fox. And I'm like, I thought Chris Harrison was
- 1:19:14Speaker 17: a great host.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: He was.
- 1:19:15Speaker 16: So I'm pretty excited about that.
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: Did you also see, this is for me kind of
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: big news, that Spider-Man is now the biggest movie of
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: all time.
- 1:19:21Speaker 12: I did.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: It beats Star Wars. That's so crazy.
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: And you see that Tom Holland is probably making $ 100
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: million off this movie.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: $ 100 million.
- 1:19:29Speaker 16: He's like the highest grossing actor ever now, right?
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: But he got $ 20 million to play the part. Then
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: he gets parts of the gross. So he's going to
- 1:19:34Speaker 9: walk away with $ 100 million.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: He is a living life right now.
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: Harry Styles is coming to State Farm Stadium in April
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: of next year. We got your tickets right now. But
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: you have to win resale prices right.
- 1:19:45Speaker 12: 877-937-1047.
- 1:19:46Speaker 9: We're going to play after Harry Styles.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: All right, we're going to play a game. We got
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Harry Styles tickets. He's going to be here in April.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Such a great show. Noah Witten saw it last week
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: in New York City. He said it was phenomenal. Rich,
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: what game are we going to play?
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: Well, this is called the Resale Price is Right.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: And guess what, John J., Kyle, Peyton? Our first contestant
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: is Allison Allison.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: You're the first contestant on Retail Price is Right.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Come on down.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: Okay, so I have done some shopping online for the
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: various members of the show, trying to find items that
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: are both local and interesting to the members of the show.
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: John Jay, you will go first. Your offering is from
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: Craigslist right here in Goodyear, Arizona. John Jay, you love
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: getting your steps in, right?
- 1:20:37Speaker 13: I do.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: And you love dogs.
- 1:20:39Speaker 9: I do.
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: This is a used dog backpack carrier. So it's perfect
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: for the dog who's decided walking is beneath him or her,
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: but not you. Get those steps in while... Fido barks
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: at cars on your back. It's got padded shoulder straps,
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: adjustable chest and waist buckles, a built-in leash, a removable
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: storage pocket, and an open top so your dog can
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: look around while you do all the work. Holds up
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: to a 24-pound dog. Also, you're going to need to
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: drive to Goodyear to pick it up because they're not
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: interested in shipping this to you. They want you to
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: come pick it up. So, John Jay, what do you
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: think the resale price on Craigslist for this actual dog
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: backpack is? I'm going to say $ 12.
- 1:21:25Speaker 12: 95.
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: $ 12.
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: 95.
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: Okay, Allison, here's where you come in. Do you think
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: that he is priced too high or too low?
- 1:21:31Speaker 18: I think he's priced too low.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: You are correct. Oh, man.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: Actual asking price. Actual asking price is $ 65.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: Used? Yeah, yeah. I mean, brand new, I would think. No,
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: it's used. Dang. Yeah.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: All right, so you go on the Showcase Showdown, Allison.
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: Now it's time for Celine.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: Celine, you're the next contestant on Resale Price is Right.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: Come on down.
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: Oh, I'm so excited.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: I am too. This is exciting.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: I'm excited for this one for Kyle. So, Kyle, you'll
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: remember last year you drove like to seven Starbucks looking
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: for that stupid beer cup.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: Remember that?
- 1:22:09Speaker 16: Yeah, it was terrible.
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: And then a few days ago, Starbucks released a $ 40
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: Snoopy cup. And of course, it's sold out. Well, I'm
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: calling this A Snoop Doop. It's pretty cool.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: It's a penis Christmas glass.
- 1:22:22Speaker 13: A what?
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: A peanuts Christmas glass.
- 1:22:25Speaker 23: Okay, I'm glad.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: I don't think he said that on the first time.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: You did not. I have the first one.
- 1:22:31Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: How much you want for that?
- 1:22:34Speaker 16: You're shopping just for me.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: Okay. It's the Peanuts Gang Christmas glass. It's a little
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: mug with Snoopy on it and a Happy Holidays across
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: the front, Kyle. The seller claims it's brand new-ish and
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: never used, but we know that's a lie. That's exactly
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: what somebody selling something like a used mug would say. Kyle,
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: I found this on Craigslist for you. It's an Arrowhead.
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: What is the sales price for this Snoopy dupe?
- 1:23:04Speaker 16: I haven't quite recovered.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: You're using it wrong, then.
- 1:23:10Speaker 16: I mean, it's a mug, but it's Snoopy, and everybody
- 1:23:12Speaker 16: loves Snoopy.
- 1:23:13Speaker 17: So I'm going to say that this Snoop Doop is priced.
- 1:23:19Speaker 16: At $ 5.
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: $ 5. Okay, so do you think that Kyle is too
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: high or too low?
- 1:23:25Speaker 11: Too low.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Too low. What would you think it would be priced at?
- 1:23:30Speaker 26: Snoopy is really big now, so I would say at
- 1:23:34Speaker 26: least $ 10.
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: Okay, well, you are incorrect. She was right on it.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: She was $ 5 is exactly.
- 1:23:39Speaker 13: All right, right.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: You're so good at prices, right? You want to go
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: to the showdown? You can go to the showdown. That's
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: never happened before. That has never happened on the resale prices.
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: Three times we've played this game.
- 1:23:49Speaker 16: Well, I feel like Celine's got to go in then, right?
- 1:23:51Speaker 18: No, or no?
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: No, she was wrong.
- 1:23:52Speaker 16: Oh, okay.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Sorry, Celine.
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: Sorry, Celine.
- 1:23:56Speaker 12: Bye, Celine. All right.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: Let's welcome Sarah. Sarah, you're the next contestant on the
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: Price is Right thingy.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: The resale price is right. Come on down. Peyton, I
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: went shopping for you on Depop. Oh, yes.
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Peyton, I went shopping for you on Depop.
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: I like Depop.
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: You've complained, Peyton, that nobody makes cute shorts for girls
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: with a little more waist. Have you not?
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah, in the thigh area.
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: In the thigh, yes. Well, good news. Neither do these people.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: I found you a gently used pair of high-waisted denim
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: blue shorts, apparently originally from Sheen. There's really no name
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: brand to them, but they do have colorful smiley face
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: patches on both butt cheeks. So even if you're having
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: a bad day, your ass is delighted to see everybody. Peyton,
- 1:24:42Speaker 5: what's the resale price for these shorts?
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: Denim jean shorts.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Not loving the visual that i have okay i'm gonna
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: say that those used denim high-waisted jeans are going for
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: two dollars and 76 cents on depop.
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: 276 on depop sarah do you think she's priced too
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: high or too low.
- 1:25:02Speaker 23: I think.
- 1:25:06Speaker 28: Oh, gosh, it's a hard one.
- 1:25:07Speaker 30: I'm going to say too low.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: She is priced too low.
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: They're asking $ 10 for them. So that means that you
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: and Allison are in the Resale Price is Right Showcase Showdown. Now,
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: so before this particular segment, I asked Peyton to pick
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: a number between 1 and 10. The closest, like Price
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: is Right, without going over, will win our grand prize. Allison,
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: you go first. Pick a number between 1 and 10.
- 1:25:37Speaker 9: It's not a fun game.
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: Three.
- 1:25:39Speaker 18: Three.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: Okay. Sarah.
- 1:25:43Speaker 32: Seven.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Al, the number is five. You pick three. You're the
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: closest without going over. Allison's our winner of the prize.
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: And run! Thank you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: You're going to go see Harry Styles. Congratulations.
- 1:25:57Speaker 20: Thanks, you guys.
- 1:25:59Speaker 10: Always such a joy.
- 1:26:02Speaker 33: Allison, will you take me?
- 1:26:04Speaker 17: Oh, I love Sarah.
- 1:26:08Speaker 12: Me too.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: The TV show Traders is back tonight at 7 on
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: NBC12 News.
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: We have a $ 250 gift card to go with it. Kyle,
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: what do we need to know today?
- 1:26:21Speaker 17: Phoenix just became number one in the entire country for
- 1:26:24Speaker 17: something we can all be very proud of. I will
- 1:26:26Speaker 17: tell you what that is next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: We missed War of the Roses today.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: No problem. Go to our Instagram. John Jay and Rich
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: just posted right now. There's a little video clip. War
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: of the Roses.

- 1:26:46Speaker 9: directly to your phone right now. Go to Instagram. John
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: Jay and Rich. type in roses.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: All right. We got a $ 250 gift card. Oh, Vonda,
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: you tried, you called earlier.
- 1:26:56Speaker 10: I did.
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: Oh, I'm glad you stuck around and listen.
- 1:27:01Speaker 10: Good.
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: You called early to play this game.
- 1:27:02Speaker 20: All right.
- 1:27:02Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: What's you got to get this trivia question, right? And
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: you can win 250 bucks. It's all about the traders.
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: New blood premieres tonight at seven only on NBC 12
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: news Vonda. In what part of the castle do the
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: traders meet under the dark of night?
- 1:27:17Speaker 33: And the Tarot.
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: That is correct. You win $ 250. Yay, Fonda!
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: Behold the traitors. New Blood, an all-new season of treachery
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: and deceit.
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: Alan Cumming opens up his castle doors to everyday Americans.
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: The traitors.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: New Blood debuts with a special two-hour extended premiere tonight
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: at 7, only on NBC12 News.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: Congratulations, Fonda.
- 1:27:43Speaker 33: I'm so excited.
- 1:27:44Speaker 11: Thank you so much.
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: It pays to listen. Kyle, what do we need to
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: know today?
- 1:27:48Speaker 16: Okay, this is going to be interesting.
- 1:27:51Speaker 17: Patrick Clancy is sitting down for the first TV interview
- 1:27:55Speaker 17: since Lindsay Clancy's mistrial. And this is going to be
- 1:27:58Speaker 17: a tough one to watch. No matter what side you
- 1:28:01Speaker 17: land on with this whole thing. I guess he tells
- 1:28:03Speaker 17: 60 Minutes. He still talks to his three kids all
- 1:28:06Speaker 17: the time. And he's expected to open up about his grief,
- 1:28:09Speaker 17: memories of the kids, and what he calls baseless conspiracy
- 1:28:12Speaker 17: theories about him that have taken off online online.
- 1:28:15Speaker 16: Since the trial, like I said.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: That's going to be stunning to watch. I'm very interested
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: to see this.
- 1:28:20Speaker 17: It airs Sunday night on CBS and Paramount Plus. And yeah,
- 1:28:24Speaker 17: same Rich, same. The Federal Reserve officially raised interest rates
- 1:28:29Speaker 17: yesterday for the first time since 2023.
- 1:28:32Speaker 16: And unfortunately, this means your credit card rate just got
- 1:28:34Speaker 16: more expensive.
- 1:28:35Speaker 17: The overnight JP Morgan, Bank of America, Citi and Wells Fargo,
- 1:28:38Speaker 17: they all raised their prime lending rates from like 6.75
- 1:28:41Speaker 17: to 7. And the translation there is like, everything's just
- 1:28:44Speaker 17: going to be more expensive when you borrow money.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: So they're trying to get you to not borrow money then, right?
- 1:28:48Speaker 16: Yeah, essentially.
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: For real.
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: I don't understand how that works.
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: Because I saw this thing that was like, gas and
- 1:28:54Speaker 9: food has gone up. But our wages haven't gone up.
- 1:28:59Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:28:59Speaker 9: So they raise the interest rate to discourage you from
- 1:29:04Speaker 9: borrowing because you don't have the money to pay it.
- 1:29:06Speaker 33: Yeah.
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: Which eventually brings down prices, right? I was just like, wow, man,
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: that's a lot. I need to dumb that down a
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: little bit. But I think I understood it.
- 1:29:14Speaker 16: And then I just moved on. You did great. And
- 1:29:16Speaker 16: thank you for also translating that as well. There are
- 1:29:20Speaker 16: new words in the dictionary.
- 1:29:21Speaker 17: Miriam Webster is updating their book that tells you what
- 1:29:25Speaker 17: all the words mean with.
- 1:29:28Speaker 16: 1,400 new words in definition.
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:29:31Speaker 16: Good God.
- 1:29:31Speaker 22: 1,400.
- 1:29:31Speaker 17: Some of the highlights, I guess you could say, are
- 1:29:34Speaker 17: internet terms like looks maxing, meme coin, parasocial. Those are
- 1:29:38Speaker 17: all officially words now.
- 1:29:39Speaker 19: Meme coin.
- 1:29:40Speaker 16: Yeah, meme coin. Meme coin.
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: It's in there.
- 1:29:43Speaker 16: Well, now you can look it up in the dictionary,
- 1:29:45Speaker 16: John Jay, because it's one of the.
- 1:29:46Speaker 17: New words that they're adding. Like I said, there's 1,400
- 1:29:48Speaker 17: of them. Here's something to be really proud of, you guys.
- 1:29:53Speaker 17: I feel like this is pretty awesome. Phoenix is now
- 1:29:57Speaker 17: officially the largest city in the country to become a
- 1:30:01Speaker 17: certified autism center.
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool.
- 1:30:05Speaker 16: Which means we are the largest autism-friendly city in America.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: That is awesome.
- 1:30:10Speaker 17: Something definitely to be proud of because more than 80%
- 1:30:13Speaker 17: of the city's front-facing employees, including police and firefighters, have
- 1:30:16Speaker 17: received special training and interacting with autistic and sensory-sensitive people.
- 1:30:21Speaker 17: The city's facilities are also being reviewed for sensory accessibility.
- 1:30:24Speaker 16: And I have to say high-five. High-five to Phoenix.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: High-five to us.
- 1:30:27Speaker 16: Way to go, town.
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: You know what's funny?
- 1:30:28Speaker 9: I thought you were going to bring up, I thought
- 1:30:30Speaker 9: you said somewhere that Phoenix was number one, something with Pokemon, too.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: Didn't you?
- 1:30:34Speaker 16: There's like a Pokemon trend happening, but it's... I.
- 1:30:37Speaker 9: Thought you said something like, Phoenix is number one for
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: Pokemon something something. And I was like, oh, I have
- 1:30:41Speaker 9: this friend of mine that literally just got into Pokemon
- 1:30:43Speaker 9: cards yesterday. And I was like, well, Kyle's on top
- 1:30:46Speaker 9: of it, but I must have misread or misunderstood.
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: Like he got it, he's just discovered them and now
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: he doesn't... No, no, just now buying lots of them
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: because you buy, like he bought a box. Yeah. And
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: then one of the cards is worth a thousand bucks. Yeah,
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: they're certainly huge now.
- 1:30:57Speaker 9: But he's not saying he bought $ 5, 000 and didn't get anything.
- 1:31:02Speaker 9: You know what I mean? Like he spent $ 5, 000 to
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: buy cards and one of them was worth a thousand bucks.
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: Did you not say that?
- 1:31:08Speaker 35: I don't know.
- 1:31:09Speaker 18: I don't know.
- 1:31:10Speaker 16: I just went on my thing and I didn't say that,
- 1:31:12Speaker 16: but there is something.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: Where the hell did I see that? Well, your brain
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: is a, is an interesting thing. I'm in the right city.
- 1:31:18Speaker 17: In any case, if you were wondering if yesterday's monsoon
- 1:31:22Speaker 17: was just a little bit of rain, it was not.
- 1:31:24Speaker 17: After the storms dumped roughly one to two full inches
- 1:31:27Speaker 17: of rain in some areas, even more in others, Mesa
- 1:31:30Speaker 17: and parts of Maricopa County, those were affected the most.
- 1:31:33Speaker 17: Like I said earlier, they stopped planes at Sky Harbor.
- 1:31:36Speaker 17: You felt like the storm escalated quickly where you were.
- 1:31:39Speaker 16: You weren't alone.
- 1:31:41Speaker 17: Where I was, I wish it escalated more quickly because
- 1:31:43Speaker 17: there was just little sprinkles. And I was like, where's
- 1:31:45Speaker 17: the rain?
- 1:31:46Speaker 16: That's what you need to know.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: Here it is.
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: Phoenix just became part of the Pokemon card frenzy. Today,
- 1:31:51Speaker 9: the Pokemon 30th anniversary card release brought big early lines
- 1:31:54Speaker 9: to Valley stores with collectors trying to beat each other
- 1:31:56Speaker 9: to limited inventory. This is not just kid stuff anymore
- 1:31:59Speaker 9: because resale spectator culture is clearly driving a lot.
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: The guy, one of the, I can't remember, it was
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: Logan Paul. He had the $ 5 million charge card. Yeah,
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: that's right.
- 1:32:07Speaker 9: Sold it for $ 15 million.
- 1:32:09Speaker 16: Dang, that was a good investment.
- 1:32:10Speaker 13: I know.
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:32:11Speaker 9: That's what I was talking about. And then my friend
- 1:32:13Speaker 9: went yesterday. My friend being Kevin Rowe from Lerner and Rowe.
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: Oh, he's now into it.
- 1:32:16Speaker 16: Went to go get Pokemon cards?
- 1:32:17Speaker 9: We were hanging out on Saturday with another friend of
- 1:32:21Speaker 9: mine that collects baseball cards.
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: Those are also artificially inflated right now, too.
- 1:32:27Speaker 16: The card trading world is insane right now.
- 1:32:30Speaker 9: So this friend of mine has some pretty valuable baseball cards.
- 1:32:33Speaker 9: And then Kevin was like, what about Pokemon cards? And
- 1:32:36Speaker 9: all I know now is that Kevin became obsessed with
- 1:32:38Speaker 9: them yesterday and bought a bunch.
